Cook for him and he’s gonna lose his absolute mind. He will go back for seconds even if he’s miserably stuffed already- just wants to show his appreciation

The only ppl who’ve ever cooked a meal for him is his mom and Lisa so it truly makes him feel so special and loved.

LOVES physical affection too! Hold his hand, link arms with him, kiss his prosthetic, hug him often- he loves it all.

He’s a bit self conscious and might be timid when showing you physical affection so feel free to take the lead! Initiate the touch first and he’ll become more confident and return the gesture ten fold!

Just don’t stop touching him okay? If anything, touch him more! As long as he has you in his grasp or can feel you hanging on him somewhere, he feels secure.

Plz plz plz leave him love notes everywhere and anywhere! Sticky notes on his gearboy, long thoughtful letters left folded up on his dresser, more sticky notes on his bathroom mirror about how gorgeous he is.

And he leaves them all in their respective spots, just letting you add more. He can’t stand to remove the notes, it hurts his heart a bit too much.

If you remove them yourself and replace them with new notes, he’ll actually probably cry at the loss of the old ones. Like 🥺

“you…threw them away? Why?”

“To make room for the new ones, babe! It’s fine, Sal, they’re just sticky notes.”

Starts to remove them himself and saves every single one in a shoe box under his bed.

You bet your ass Larry teases him when he finds the box and starts digging through it all while Sal is absolutely proud and happy to go through it with him, rereading all your lovely poems and compliments.

Don’t be afraid to call him cute pet names or show PDA in front of his friends. He lives for that shit. Lowkey loves when Larry and Todd snicker and make faces at him after you kiss him or call him ‘honey’. He doesn’t care, it just makes him feel even more giddy and in love with you.

MIDDAY NAPS IN HIS BED WITH GIZMO CUDDLED BETWEEN YALL OMFG BEST SLEEP OF HIS LIFE

Kiss the inside of his prosthetic right in front of him and let him know it’s so he’ll always be able to kiss you even when you’re away from him

Bonus points if you wear lipstick so he can see the kiss mark before he puts his prosthetic on.

Imagine he takes it off later around Larry and Ash and both of them are like “uh, Sally, you got a little something…on your face.” And he’s sitting there with a dopey grin and blushing cheeks like “yeah, I know~”

GOOD LORD, when yall are alone, feel free to pull his prosthetic off and just go ham with the face kisses. You don’t even need to ask to take his mask off when it’s just you and him, just yank it off and make out with him already

Gift him stuff! Doesn’t matter what it is- could be a dozen fresh roses, a lollipop from the dollar store or a shiny rock you found on the ground while walking to his house. He’s like a crow, he’ll hoard it all no matter how small.

All in all, he loves having an ultra loving and affectionate partner, just give him time to warm up to it and he’ll gradually start returning the favors.

Fic recs?? It’s so hard to find good stuff😩

i’ll list a few of my recent favs, but first i’ll give u some tips & secrets ab how i find new fics 🥰

my first & biggest source—i snoop on everyone’s bookmarks. like everyone. if i read a fic i liked, i check that author’s bookmarks. if someone comments on my fic, i check their bookmarks. if i come across someone talking ab fic on the tl, i go to their ao3 and check their bookmarks. i’ve found so many great fics just by snooping on what other ppl are reading 🫶

my second most-used tactic: searching for tags & using filters. if i’m looking for something specific, i search the tags/pairings i want and make sure to exclude things i don’t want (i.e. i don’t usually want to read jegulus, so i make sure to exclude that pairing in my results. same goes w tags/ratings/warnings u don’t want). i’ll sort by date, kudos, and hits separately, and add anything that sounds interesting to my bookmarks to sort through later. ao3 really has the best filtering and tagging system out there, but a lot of times we don’t use it to its full capacity! if you want to read something specific there’s a very good chance someone has written it, you just need to search and filter your results so that you’re not just seeing the most recent stuff! (i also filter by word count a lot too bc i’m not always in the mood for something multi-chaptered or something that will take me multiple days to finish reading)

last, sometimes i’ll go into the main pairing tag i’m looking for and sort by kudos/hits/date/whatever and jump to like….the 30th page of results. there’s sooooo much stuff i miss just bc it gets lost in the flow of new/popular fics, so jumping to random deep-dive search results will help you find new stuff & come across fics & authors you haven’t seen before 💞💖💘

I would just like to say you are probably my absolute favourite Daryl writer because not only can you get Daryl’s character right down to a T but you can write badass female characters perfectly.

That’s the thing I always look out for. Because yeah I do love when Daryl takes care of the sweet reader ect, it’s adorable but my absolute favourites is where the reader/fmc is an absolute badass and you write it perfectly.

oH EM GEE. I don't even know where to start with this message! UGH! MYFEELINGSSSSS <3 <3 <3 You have been following me since basically the very beginning of this blog and I'm so grateful you're still here. I always love seeing you on my activity page (Ik I say that a lot to ppl who message, but it's for real. really really!) and your reactions give me so much life. I also love the fics where Daryl protects a little sunshine reader, but for some reason I have a harder time writing them lol I just see him with someone as badass as he is! And I think at a certain point, after many years in the apocalypse, everyone left alive would have developed fighting skills whether they wanted to or not. The exception, of course, being sheltered in some community or something. I can see Daryl gravitating toward sunshine readers for sure, even sort of helpless ones, but I also think he'd want to do everything he could to get them trained up to fight like him. Just some rambly thoughts lol I just tend to write strong female leads who have seen some shit (and are maybe a little scary sometimes) but who have somehow also held onto some sunshine deep inside them, because I think Daryl needs that and would gravitate toward it... <3 OKAY ALSO I have a WIP that is pretty much like this lol It isn't the series I was thinking of doing next but now you have me reconsidering... hmmmmmm... oh my god anon thank you so much ;-; wah I’m all misty eyed… this was something I definitely needed to hear… it surprises me when ppl remind me that my TF F/Os still love me bc the trauma I was inflicted from my abuser is still so fresh, and before I met my abuser I used to believe 100% that my F/Os would never harm me, but then she convinced me otherwise and self shipping has been nearly impossible for me for 8 months, until I finally started to dip my toes back into it after seeing the Barbie movie. Starscream is my main F/O, and he used to make me feel the most loved and safe out of hundreds of my F/Os, I never doubted in my mind that he’d love me… but my abuser spent so much time convincing me otherwise, not just Starscream but all TF characters became a c-ptsd trigger. Losing the characters I’ve loved the most has been absolutely devastating. It feels so weird having genuine fear towards them. but I’m trying to reclaim these characters, baby steps are helping and I’m definitely better today than I was even just 3 months ago… and getting asks like this helps so so so much. Ahh it must be quite devasting right?:( like you’ve suddenly been thrown into a nightmare and everything feels so so foreign and frustrating. There’s no guarantee if you’ll ever be able to go to your country/home back and I picture you feeling so lonely. *pats on the shoulder* please stay strong. And keep working towards finding a new home, focusing on jobs for now. Life sometimes gets so unpredictable and it feels like everything’s over and you’ve lost, but a bad turn doesn’t mean you’ve hit a dead end. New doors always open and it’s very tough at the start but later on, you will reach a beautiful destination I promise. 💓 and I am literally an enfj too? My personality is a mix of ENFJ and ENFP. So I understand what you’re talking about. We’re very loyal and people’s person and that’s why it easily affects us when we’re not kindly treated by those around us. And getting other’s people approval/acknowledgment makes us feel so valid. But truth is, I adjusted myself to the reality of this world long time back. Not everyone is gonna be nice to you or be grateful to you no matter how nice you are to them or how much you help them. It’s some people’s nature. That doesn’t mean you have to stop being a nice and kind person to everyone around you. Just try to give without expecting anything in return ok? That’s how I’ve trained my mindset and I’m able to be happy now no matter what. As for the validation thing, I am not a confident person either and I have high self doubts and anxiety. I feel like I’m not good enough in a lot of cases and I often seek approval from others around me BUT I have changed that (and am still trying to) I have decided to be my own cheerleader. I tell myself that I’m worth it, I’m doing my best, I am enough etc. I find my spirits and acknowledgement from ME MYSELF. Bc think of it this way. No one knows your efforts more than you or god, so why do u let others who haven’t seen how hard you tried tell u that you’re bad/good at something? Don’t give anyone that right. To hold authority over how you feel about yourself my love. 💞 and don’t criticise yourself for being this way. There’s nothing wrong in yearning for others’ affection or approval or attention. Human beings were always created to be with eachother, no human being can exist alone. It’s how we were made by default.

And yes I did name my niece haha her name was decided even before she was born😆! Ill show u all the books directly when they arrive- reading books give me all this maturity since they’re always about young adult/slice of life/romance. It's a bit sad cause I usually love their titles and this is what I wanted: rock inspired, hardcore and noisy concept, but it just didn't hit? Everyone's so hyped and saying how genius the song is, but I'm not feeling it 💔 I was anticipating this comeback so much (I still am, I'm just worried the song will disappoint me). It's slowly growing on me, but I don't think I'll ever be obsessed. let's start with the basics- alex?? is SO SWEET?? AND SO NICE?? and just all around super fun to write with, plot with, and just to be interacting with in general?? when i first started following her i was kinda like 'is this person for real?? this isn't like a trick or anything is it??' but that thought went away real fast because alex treats all of her writing partners SO WELL both on a writing level but also on a personal level...she takes genuine interest and care in her writing partners' ocs which is SO HARD TO FIND. like have you seen the meta questions she sends ppl?? they're deep!! they require a lot of thought to answer well. it's not easy sending in good questions so that alone already tells me how much she cares not only about her own ocs but her partners' ocs!! but also, she's just a joy to see on my dash in general?? even if it's not content that involves me, i always like seeing what she and her muses are up to- she's so supportive of all of her mutuals and also just welcoming of newcomers as well and just, it's comforting to see :'D

but you know who writes really well and is EXCELLENT at character development?? alex!! she goes hard with all of it and you can tell she put a lot of thought and research into her characters...the lore i wanna give it a chef's kiss because WOW the hcs she posts about all of them feels so natural and would make sense for her muses?? basically what i'm trying to say is that her character concepts are VERY WELL EXECUTED and feel so real...and she does it because she genuinely enjoys doing so!! also her interpretation of goblin's saja is to die for!! when i think of saja i think of alex's intepretation first and then i realize that's not the actual canon...but then again, alex might as well call saja/wang yeo/lee hyuk her own ocs because all three of them are distinct in personality, character arcs, aesthetics, etc. despite technically being the same person!! also she's so much fun to plot with?? I LOVE ALL OF OUR DYNAMICS LIKE HYURICK HELP THEY ALL LIVE IN MY HEAD RENT FREE- like, i give her an idea and then she gives it back to me tenfold and whether that causes me joy or pain ( *cough cough* hyurick in vigilante au GOD WHY ) i'll take it all...and she also has so many great ideas that i wanna write out with her too!! and finally!! her writing?? is to die for- it's beautiful prose but also so welcoming?? very engaging for sure, which is essential for rp me thinks, someone pls take the mic away from me before i accidentally launch into a full blown thesis on why alex is a great human being who deserves nothing but good things in her life :D

Looking at the ending scenes from 4x08, we have EddieAna + Chris, Madney, Albert and Buck, and Henren. We know that in 4b, Henren will be dealing with potentially losing Nia. From Tim's interview, we know that Madney will not be having a 100% smooth birth. So already, 2/4 of these groups having something stressful coming in 4b. Lots of ppl think Albert will be in the car crash, so make that 3/4. So based on the math (lol), EddieAna + Chris also have something bad in store for 4b. It adds up.

I always say that I am less into speculations, I try to be cautious mostly for my own sake, ‘coz from my experience, I find it hard to delve into speculations without forming expectations, which too easily leads to disappointment if my hopes don’t materialize. But I think as far as theories go, this isn’t a bad one. In general, Eddie and Ana have had a smooth (though rushed) sailing so far in the sense that we really didn’t see any substantial obstacles for them, which means trouble's bound to be around the corner. @evaneddie Sweetheart, thank you for this ask! Honestly, I’m thinking of the strides they would have to hit in order to tell this story well and the truth is, TV doesn’t always tell its stories well, so realistically, they’re not actually bound by any structure. But if they did do their best to hit all the key notes, they would first of all have to deal with one guy having feelings realization towards the other guy (I do think this is more likely to be Buck for a number of reasons), then he’d have to figure himself out (his sexuality, his feelings, what does he actually want) before settling into a plateau ("I can’t have this, so here we are, as if nothing’s changed") and then they have several options on what earthquake event to bring in which starts moving them towards mutual pining. It could be the guy who’s already on board trying to move on and the other guy starts grasping what he stands to lose, or it could be that things get difficult for the one who already knows and he starts pushing the other man away, leading to a crisis that will eventually lead to a reveal of some sort... Key factor here is that a slow burn will always have to play around for a while with them not being in the same place emotional and consciously, so expect lots of obstacles first, many of them of the self-inflicted kind (like assuming the other guy isn’t into it). I hope this sort of helps? I have no idea, but I hope so! So much love to you! xoxox

Kingdom hearts- send a fandom

The first character I first fell in love with:

RIKU!!! Seeing Riku was love at first sight for me and over the years I've really grown to love and appreciate his character more and more. Sadly some of the writing choices in his story post-DDD has left me a little bored with his character but he'll always be a favorite of mine. I like to think of him as a favorite brother or beloved son. ❤❤❤

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:

Kairi for sure. I was always somewhat indifferent to Kairi in the past and downright hated her for a while after KH3. But after I started writing her more in my fics and after having an epiphany, I realized that she's actually a very cool character and lovely lady. So much so that she's now in my top 5 kh characters. I just want the best for her.🥺💖

The character everyone else loves that I don’t:

There really isn't any character I dislike because I find every character's story interesting in their own...Axel! FU*KING AXEL! I was never a fan of him, never shipped him with Roxas even during the early years of the fandom but my dislike of him has only grown over the years, and seeing how the fandom constantly dumps on characters like Saix and Marluxia for their abuses but Axel somehow get off scot-free has only made me dislike him more. I'd go into more detail as to why I dislike him but I think I'm already risking a glowing red dot on my forehead by even uttering this aloud. 😅

The character I love that everyone else hates:

Saix? I know there are still some that think his redemption was undeserved because of how he treated Xion. I don't think so, it was just not written in the best way. Same with Marluxia. A lot of people get on them for their abuses and crimes, but somehow like to forget how Axel more or less abandoned Saix and his quest to find Subject X, actively lied to and gaslit his supposed best friends and kidnapped Kairi just for the chance to revive his best friend who didn’t even want to be back in the organization by that point. But that’s none of my business...

The character I used to love but don’t any longer:

Honestly, even though I was never a fan of Axel's character, he did amuse me and made me laugh many times. But he doesn't even do that for me anymore and I partially blame his fandom for that...

The character I would totally smooch:

Marluxia, among others...👀

The character I’d want to be like:

Aqua, she's so beautiful and graceful and strong. Also she's resilient. I adore her so much.

The character I’d slap:

So for all my dislike of Axel, I'd actually wanna slap Xehanort first for obvious reasons. I wanna smack his shiny ass bald head and play it like a hand drum! Also wanna slap Yen Sid too, actually I wanna slap most of the old men in Kingdom Hearts. Except maybe Merlin but he's on thin fu*king ice.

A pairing that I love:

I'd say Marlar but that's too obvious. So Sokai. Again it wasn't a pairing I really cared about in the past but it has grown on me tremendously over the past few years. I WILL cry pathetically when they're reunited in KH4.

A pairing that I despise:

Risem for extremely personal reasons I'd rather not get into here. Also Marnami because in the early days of the fandom she was the one most ppl paired Marluxia with even before Larxene. I hated it then and for those barn cats that still create content for that ship, I hate it now.

Hiiii Paige I know I’m sending this to you after you’ve gone to sleep but I wanted to say first of all I love you & have missed you 💖💕 I feel like I don’t send you many things anymore cause I started a new (& very rough) job + you’re in London now right??? Also I was working so I didn’t see any of the shit that went down at the Oscars just read about it on here 😭

But the main thing I wanted to know is if you watch Bridgerton???? I have a friend who loves period pieces & whatnot & while I do enjoy a few of those movies (Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility, Emma, etc.) I honestly am not big on them. Anyway she is a huge fan of Bridgerton & I remember her binge watching it. I thought about watching too, but I never did for various reasons. But I reminded her that the new season was out & I remembered seeing on twitter like a month ago that a classical rendition of Sign of the Times would be featured (they take a bunch of modern songs & turn them into classical music lol—even if you don’t watch you should listen to the sott one).

I finally watched the show though. Binged it in two days lmaooo. It might not be your thing, but I really enjoyed the characters, settings, & the music ofc (even if the plot sometimes gets messy). Season 2 was my fave so far though cause I thought the two main characters of the season were both hot af & had great chemistry (I will warn you that there is angst & ik you are not a huge fan of that 😭)!!! The scene where sott played drove me insane though (iykyk)! They also had classical versions of Dancing on My Own & Wrecking Ball which were soooo good!! I haven’t read any of the Bridgerton books (my friend has ofc) & ik a lot of ppl who have read them have certain opinions of the show (as most book fans will), so I can’t really say whether it’s a decent adaptation or not but I enjoy the show nevertheless. I also just really like the fact that there are a lot of characters of color in the show & that many of them are main characters. I know some ppl may complain that it’s not “”“historically accurate”“” but I don’t think period pieces necessarily have to be (+ sometimes they are more enjoyable when they’re not).
