Ok. So I have seen a lot of theories about a possible Just Dance movie and who could play who. Now, first off after JD2018 there was going to be AN ACTUAL JUST DANCE MOVIE, but it was put into hiatus once they couldn't find a writer, so if they were to bring this project back, here's my fan casting. Also keep in mind I'm assuming the film is animated. Also assuming it just focuses on the main story mode lore.

So first of course, Wanderlust.

I think Pharrell would be a great Wanderlust. He has a very expressionate and passionate voice, and he already has experience voice acting. Plus, I think it would be a really cool circle back to the fact that one of Jessy's first maps was a Pharrell map. Also it'll make more sense when I say who I would fan cast as Sara.

Next, Sara.

Other then the fact that I would let this woman hit me with a truck, Tori Kelly is a very talented voice actress. She has the shy and hates the spotlight but has so much more to her voice down. And her pre established chemistry with Pharrell? OH MY GOD THEY WOULD KILL IT. I'm literally watching Sing 2 while writing this lol but I would DIE to see these two in these roles.

Next let's do Mihaly.

A. Ivory Aquino is an amazing actress B. Also an amazing trans activist. In my head they were the easiest to cast as Mihaly because that's just who I see playing them.

Brezziana next!

You probably know her as the voice of Amethyst from Steven Universe, but I soooo agree with @anja-the-sane-sibling about this one, she would make an amazing Brezziana.

Ok this one... i'm not set on. Anja said the voice of Ash, from Fantastic Mr. Fox, and while I agree 100% the actual actor is... really old. This is another actor (Josha Stradowski) who I think could could ace it, but you guys have any other suggestions that would be great:)

For Nightswan... I have two in mind.

In life, fate may bring back people we’ve known our entire lives to enlighten our path after a lifetime of darkness; and in her case, following eight years of little to no contact, she had returned to Sevilla right around the exact same time her closest friend from childhood did, Sergio Ramos.

Their families had grown up together and while she had befriended Sergio’s sister Mirian first, it was Sergio whom she felt closest to and their mothers could see the special bond both she and him shared together, so much so that the mothers were convinced that the pair were to end up together only for their careers to be the reason they part ways, as well as her belief that Sergio would never look at her as anything more than a friend.

Yet little did she know of what he felt.

The truth was that Sergio had always held a deep affinity towards her, ever since he saw her playing with his sister and it didn’t change as the years went by, he simply chose to put his feelings at the back of his mind as his football career was on the rise and while he loved her, he couldn’t really afford to lose any opportunities.

Only to be hit with the news of her getting married during his time in Real Madrid as well as being blessed a year later with a beautiful baby girl, the mere notion of her with someone else has been the reason why he avoided returning home the same time she did, up until he reached the tipping point of his career by returning to the club that started it all.

And it was during his return that he saw her.

The sky had darkened just as she cleaned up the last table, as she was about to head to the back to grab her coat she hears the bell chiming causing a groan of frustration to escape from her lips, " Sorry, we’re clo– " the words escape from her entirely upon meeting the familiar gaze of none other than, her childhood friend Sergio Ramos.

" Hola preciosa " He greets her with a soft tone.

" Sergio! " She whispers with a surprised yet elated expression, she walks around the counter to approach him, " How? What? When did you get back? " she asks with a smile.

" A month ago, I’m back for good " He says with a chuckle.

" Came back for good? " She echoes with a confused smile.

" Rene reached an agreement with Sevilla, I am back home " He states with a tentative smile, " You didn’t hear? "

" No, I haven’t been keeping up with the news to be honest, between work and taking care of a wild eight year old can take its toll on a girl " She laughs, " I’m sorry, I didn’t hear but I’m happy to hear that you’re back "

" It’s fine preciosa, I’m glad that I got to see you " He states, smiling at her before adding on, " I went to your mum earlier, she said you’ve been managing things in here quite well "

" Yeah " She nods softly, smiling at him. " It’s been tough but I managed so far "

They settle on an Italian restaurant and sit in a corner booth, and once they ordered their meals – He looks at her with a soft smile across his lips, " How long has it been? eight years? "

She nods, smiling. " Yeah, eight years I think - right before I left Sevilla to go to England "

He nods as well, " Preciosa, I’m sorry I didn’t keep in touch " he begins with an apologetic expression.

" If I wrap up training early we can " He nods.

After they had their meal, Sergio drives her back to her home, before she stepped out of his car - she turns around and smiles, " I really had fun tonight "

" Me too " He smiles back.

" See you tomorrow " She smiles softly.

It had been three months since their encounter and the pair were able to reconnect quicker, especially now more than ever – and while she did not want to admit it out loud, her mother had noticed how lighter she had become leading to this moment, they were in the kitchen baking cookies when her mother spoke up, " So? She looks up with a raised brow, " So? " she repeats with a confused tone.

" You and Sergio? " Her mother says with a teasing glint in her voice.

" Mamá " She groans.

She looks up, a deadpan expression across her face, " You mean what you two decided to weave out of thin air "

" We did not, everyone around you can see it except you two " Her mother retorts.

" Mamá " She sighs, " It’s not going to happen, Sergio and I are at different stages of our lives, besides who’s to say he wants anything to do with me, especially being a mother to an eight year old "

" Did he meet Sara? " Her mother asks.

" Yes " She nods, recalling the few times they’d run into one another during a grocery shopping trip or even when he visits the café.

" And what does she think of him? " Her mother asks.

" She likes him " She shrugs.

" Well in this case, mi dulce hija … I believe you need to stop making excuses and start facing the reality, that you are still in love with him " Her mother said with a smile.

Later that night, after tucking Sara in bed; she makes her way to her own bedroom to prep herself for bed, she changes into an old t-shirt then crawls under the covers, reaching to turn off the light when her phone suddenly vibrated, confused - she reaches to grab the device and check, she’d gotten a text message from Sergio.

Are you awake?

Admittedly, the tone of the message sent her mind into overdrive, tentatively she pressed the keyboard to type her response.

Yeah, what’s up?

It took mere seconds for a response to come from him.

Do you think we can meet up tomorrow? I don’t have training until 12pm, so when you drive Sara to school we can meet up at the cafe, sounds good?

She swallowed the lump in her throat, and chewed on her bottom lip - what could he possibly want to talk about?, she blows a ponderous breath then types her response.

He nods, sitting at the table while she behind the counter. " Don’t tire yourself and make something, please " he says.

" It’s fine " She waves him off with a smile before quickly pouring the liquid into two cups and walking up to the table, she placed it on the table.

" Preciosa " He said, " Can you sit, please? there’s something I want to tell you? "

She nods leisurely then sits down, " What’s up? "

He inhales then exhales a deep breath, " I’ve been meaning to say this for the longest time actually … "

She furrows her brows, " Ok? "

He opens his mouth then closes it quickly, letting out a soft chuckle. " We’ve known each other for the longest time, in good times and bad times, and in all of those times only one thing made sense "

She silently nods, humming.

" I … " He trails off, with a ponderous breath, " I love you "

" What? " She whispers, taken back by what she had heard.

" I love you " He repeats, more confident this time. " I’ve been in love with you since the day I saw you playing with Mirian, I loved you through it all, you’ve been there for me everytime I needed someone to talk to and -erm- … I know that you may think you’re unworthy of love after what that idiot had done but I want you to know one thing " He paused, " If you’re willing to give me a chance, I’m willing to give you and Sara, the love that you deserve "

To say she was astonished would be an understatement, she remained silent for a brief moment that felt like a lifetime, " I … " she begins, " Why didn’t you ever tell me? "

" I was … terrified " He says, " You’re amazing preciosa, and in my opinion I believed that you deserve someone that is stable, and can give you the life that you deserve but now, especially where I am now in my life, I want to be the man that you deserve and if you let me … I want to be the father that Sara deserves "

" Are you sure? It’s not going to be sunshine and roses " She says with a shaky voice.

" I want it all with you preciosa, I want you and Sara in my life " He said, smiling. " Will you make me the happiest man out there, and let me take you out on a proper date tomorrow? "

She smiles widely, " I would love to "

He stands up and she follows suit, " So? " he says with a soft smile, " Can I kiss you? "

She nods softly and is immediately pulled into his embrace, he caressed her cheek with his palm while his lips moved softly against hers, he pulls back and rests his forehead against hers. " Been a long time coming " he whispers.

I had the delight and fortune of reading an ARC of Tastes Like Shakkar (the follow-up to Dating Dr. Dil) by Nisha Sharma @nishawrites while binging season 2 of The Bear.
