Dialog Senja
Sebuah perjalanan antara mencari dan melepaskan
Tumblr media

Veliki Slap, Plitvice Lakes national park, Lika-Senj, Croatia
“Also known as the Big Waterfall, Veliki Slap is the highest waterfall in the Unesco world heritage site of Plitvice Lakes national park. The waterfall is pictured surrounded by autumn-toned trees, and with the (enhanced/added) mist it almost feels as though you could breathe in the power of nature”

Stay Please
A sneak peak of a oneshot I'm working on based on this art by @amgeryporcupine
“Are you out of your fucki-!”
Tobirama didn’t allow Madara to finish his sentence. Using his superior body mass, he threw himself forward and pushed Madara through the innocent shoji doors and into his bedroom. The Uchiha was at a disadvantage within the winding halls and intricately sealed rooms of the Senju estate.
Madara hit the soft bed with an oof and his hands were already up in a guard when Tobirama closed in on him. He threw his legs up and one locked around his waist and the other around his neck. It was very telling that Madara was not using chakra enhanced strength or ninjutsu to get out of the hold. Tobirama interlaced their hands and shoved Madara’s arms to the bed beside his head.
“Senj-!”
Tobirama closed the distance between them and the soft plushness of Madara’s lips gave way to sharp teeth cutting a line into his own. He didn’t give up though, a little pain was inconsequential compared to the chaos that the Uchiha would go on to forge with his own two hands.
A quiet fell upon them in the wake of their tussel. Tobirama hadn’t exactly thought this through, however, no one would be thinking rationally after reading the scroll he had.
When Madara’s teeth unclenched, Tobirama pulled back just enough to look into his eyes. They were alight with the sharingan and too many emotions to count.
“What do you want from me?” He asked through blood stained lips.
The Senju sensed that he was hanging from a rope over a cliff and Madara was holding scissors. What he said next would determine the fate of the ninja world.
“I don’t want anything from you,” he licked a droplet of blood from his lip. “I want you.”
Madara’s face broke into something vulnerable and he averted his eyes to the ceiling, brow crinkling.
Tobirama didn’t allow that and released one hand to grab Madara’s chin and tilt his face so they were looking at each other again. He stared into those deadly sharingan eyes unflinchingly.
All at once, Tobirama thought of how the Uchiha clan members spoke of him, how he was not greeted on the street like Hashirama was despite being as much a figurehead in the creation of the village, and the betrayal that he must feel at the heart of it all.
He must feel so alone.
“I need you.”
Madara scoffed, but there wasn’t true fire behind it, just confusion and disbelief. “So the rumors are true. You Senju are insatiable horndogs.”
“Can you blame me?” Tobirama cracked a smile and pointedly gave him a once over. The tease had the desired effect and Madara’s chakra settled into something less volatile. He had never thought of Madara as cute, but the way the Uchiha blushed, pouted, and looked away was nothing but.
It probably should have been embarrassing how easily the Senju’s words lowered his hackles. After living so long alone and hated, it was like a balm on his soul and he felt a sense of calm he hadn’t in a long time.
“You didn’t need to kidnap me to tell me this.” Madara grumbled, flicking his gaze back to glare at the smiling Senju.
“I’ll admit that I panicked. I don’t want to lose you.”
Tobirama’s words were as precise and deadly as his water dragon.
“Is this some sort of trick?” The harshness of Madara’s voice was to distract from the wound Tobirama had just found.
“No, it isn’t.” Tobirama leaned back onto his knees and Madara propped himself up onto his elbows, almost as if following him.
The Uchiha glared at him hard, trying to figure out if he should be trusted or not. He eventually settled on, “if I find out you are manipulating me, I will cut you in half with my susanoo blade.”
“Deal.”
Madara grabbed Tobirama’s shirt and yanked him down for a real kiss.

Maryam Ghanbarian, an Iranian artist living and working in Tehran. Maryam tells:
"I was born and raised in Tehran. After I received my undergraduate degree I enrolled in the Masters Program in Fine Arts at Tehran University. Here I became interested in calligraphy as an art form and completed my Masters Thesis on this topic.
My work has been greatly influenced by calligraphy and its rich history and cultural significance. The elements were inspired by my memories of Nowruz from childhood. I think the wheatgrass (sabzeh) and the goldfish are among the most prominent elements of our haft-sîn...
Calligraphy is an art form that is deeply rooted in our culture and Iranian artists have created a unique place for it in our artistic tradition. Written words are like poetry."

From wikipedia -
Haftsin (Persian: هفت‌سین) is an arrangement of seven symbolic items whose names start with the letter "س" (pronounced as "seen"), the 15th letter in the Persian alphabet; "haft" (هفت) is Persian for "seven". It is traditionally displayed at Nowruz, the Iranian New Year, which is celebrated on the day of the vernal equinox, marking the beginning of spring in the Northern Hemisphere.

Nowruz with Family
Although I wasn’t able to celebrate this Nowruz with my family on the day of the New Year, I was able to visit home the weekend before and have a small celebration with them. We began by cleaning the house all together, something we do each year around springtime and which I always assumed was just a spring cleaning. I learned, however, that this was actually khane takaaneh, the tradition of decluttering the house before the new year. Interestingly, we ended up learning more about khane takaaneh in class and discussed the historical reasons for why it occurred during the springtime, when the weather was conducive to the cleaning of carpets and other furnishings which had to be performed outdoors.
After cleaning the house, we moved on to preparing the haft sin— the traditional arrangement of symbolic Nowruz items. Our haft sin featured somagh (sumac), sekeh (coins), senjed (lotus fruit), serkeh (vinegar), sir (garlic), seeb (apple), sa’at (clock), sonbol (hyacinth), ayaneh (mirror),  and sham’e (candles).
Once the haft sin was set, we sat down to a dinner of sabzi polo (rice cooked with dill) and mahi (salmon). I had also assumed that this was just a dish that my family preferred to cook each year on Nowruz, but my parents explained that this was actually the traditional meal enjoyed by most Iranian families on the New Year.
Overall, the element of Nowruz I enjoyed the most was the emphasis on family bonding. I realized that all of the traditions, from khane takaaneh to sitting down to dinner, are orchestrated to bring the family together at the renewal of the year. It was refreshing to take time out of the busy school year to talk, laugh, and reflect with my family.
I had a preconception that Nowruz was exclusively a Persian holiday, but having the opportunity to later attend an inter-departmental Nowruz celebration here at Penn, I realized that the holiday is shared by many nationalities which once fell under the Persian empire, including Azeris, Uzbeks, Afghans, Tajiks, and others. Comparing Nowruz to the western holidays I have grown up with, I felt that it had many similarities with Easter— both seasonally and in terms of their traditions such as painting eggs and spending time with family. I wondered if there were historical reasons why the two were similar, especially since they coincide around the same time of year. Otherwise, Nowruz seemed to blend elements of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the Gregorian New Year.
This Nowruz was definitely an unforgettable one given how much I have learned from it. I eagerly look forward to the next one.

Shout all you like! I am also terminally Giyuu diseased.
Hehe yes, he's a little bit stupid! He doesn't see the correlation between his dumb loud neighbor that threw up in his bathroom and his shy student that sits in the back of the class. Just "they look similar but they're so different that it's impossible for them to be related- oh no they are"
the implicationssssss, that's all I saying
I love making Kyo so stupid too! He's just so,, I don't know how to describe it. He's mentally homosexual. Gay brain. Alcohol does not help his condition lmao. Like he's so stupid that he's unaware of his surroundings. He just wants to leave a good impression on "Senjuro's teacher."
I love texts too because it reveals things like the habits of the characters and how they capitalize and punctuate and if they use emojis and stuff! There are more texts in the next chapter! which is already up for your viewing pleasure And what I believe to be more Kyojuro and Giyuu stupids. I love mens that can't use their brains properly.
It wasn't until your and another comment that I forgot about the heart note so now I have to... possibly mention it later...
