What are the odds that All Might holds AFO off until a time in which Dabi Toga and maybe Shirogiri are able to come in and interfere and help All Might?

I don’t personally see that happening with Touya and Toga just yet

I think AFO is gonna keep winning fights until he gets to Tomura and makes everything 100x worse and THEN everyone will pitch in and fight him together

Honestly unsure of Touya’s involvement in all of that too but Toga and the rest of the LOV I do see coming back into the picture to fight with the heroes

Dabi is a Nomu Theory

I just woke up the other day with an earth shattering epiphany...

Dabi is Nomu!Touya. The reveal hasn't happened yet because Dabi is to Touya as Kurogiri is to Shirakumo. Dabi knows that he hates Endeavor but doesn't neccesarily remember why because, like Shirakumo, Touya really did die and was altered in some way... or they tried and it didn't actually change anything about his quirk despite the attempts so they discarded him and thus Nomu!Touya exists possibly worse off than before possibly not and somehow he's lead back to the league by Giran unaware that his client is part of the group that made Dabi from Touya.

That's part of why Kurogiri didn't just protect Shigaraki from Dabi and Toga but also protected them from Shigaraki. He recognized Dabi as someone like him.

That's why Ujiko was like "I think you and I will get along" he already knew Dabi but took his memories of that time before tossing him out as a failure.

I could also be completely wrong about this but it's a fun theory to consider so I'm sharing it anyway.

headcanon that kurogiri is the one who raises tomura through childhood after AfO finds him:

AfO might be tomura’s sensei and overall life guidance counselor, but kurogiri is the one who teaches him how to tie his shoes without destroying his shoelaces, damn it

one day kurogiri takes a smol tomura to the playground (bc baby villains need their daily physical exercise too) and has to quickly warp the two of them away when tomura has too much fun on the swing set and accidentally disintegrates it

kurogiri indulges tomura every now and then by playing pokemon with him

his favorite pokemon is gastly

kurogiri talks tomura through night terrors whenever he dreams about his time locked away, and sits patiently with him until he’s lucid and breathing normally again

every time tomura masters a new move from sensei, he mysteriously finds a new video game in his room. when asked, kurogiri just shrugs his misty shoulders and says it must have just gotten lost in the... mists of time

kurogiri taking care of a lightweight!tomura who accidentally took a swig of jack from the bar: 

“pls drink some water, shigaraki tomura” 

“ffffffffffuck you shirogiri, don’t tell me what to do!” 

*two minutes later* 

*attempts to chug five bottles of water, only disintegrates two of them*

kurogiri is just overall proud of his son?? like, tomura literally went from outcast child in (solitary?) confinement to the top dog of a renowned villain organization. such a steep and beautiful character arc just makes his boy the Model Villain™

Soulmate AU fic ramble

Tonight it contains manga spoilers

Got Bakugou and Todoroki at home briefly since it’s summer break and Bakugou’s first section was so easy since it was a continuation of an ongoing storyline but Todoroki’s giving me trouble

Like on one hand Endeavor and Todoroki probably do have to have a conversation but the how is eluding me. I’m also not completely sold on the what exactly as well. It’s a conversation that probably could happen earlier in the fic, but it didn’t because Endeavor was retiring so he had bigger fish to fry than Todoroki’s sports festival drama

Since Todoroki goes home to the house that Endeavor promised never to enter, that also kind of complicates things a bit, because this will have to be some kind of telephone or video call

Now, I could couple this up with the eventual storyline of Dabi getting broken out of jail but that also kind of makes things complicated

Like I do have a vague idea of how that would work but how does that resolve exactly? 

But if I put the Endeavor conversation off, then what exactly do I do with Todoroki? I know what the next Bakugou section is so that kind of dictates the time frame of Todoroki’s section. Then again, I could give Todoroki more sibling bonding storyline continuation but that kind of would probably happen whether the Endeavor conversation happens or not

Another thing to consider is even though this hasn’t really made a direct or even proper indirect mention in the fic yet is that If Kurogiri has become more of a Shiragiri due to Hero Council manipulations, then when Shiragiri liberates Dabi from jail, that’s going to affect Aizawa because his soulmate is Shirakumo. So from Aizawa’s perspective when Shirakumo died, their connection never disappeared just become fainter since Shirakumo wasn’t the dominant consciousness of Kurogiri. Now that Shirakumo is more of a Shirogiri the connection is a little stronger, so Aizawa knows basically that Shirakumo has chosen to side with Shigaraki, which is like a whole fic in of itself right there. I’m not sure if this will ever become part of the fic though. I mean since from Bakugou and Todoroki’s perspectives it’s irrelevant to the story atm

Another possibility for what to do with Todoroki is to have him bond with Fuyumi while they’re watching the fireworks from a distance (Natsuo and his girlfriend went to the festival) and then move to Bakugou and Midoriya chilling on Bakugou’s roof watching the fireworks (though this is up for grabs still) , and then the next Todoroki scene could be Rei visiting since it’ll be the day she normally visits and she reveals that Dabi visited her. 

Although if Dabi did visit Rei then of course the siblings would be notified through Endeavor that Dabi is at large and Hawks might be put on guard duty even though he really should be guarding Endeavor in such a situation. But who else would Endeavor trust with his kids? 

It’s also possible some of what I want to do here are plot points better served later. Though I do want to break Dabi out before Toga steals Midoriya’s notebooks while disguised as MIdoriya. 

It’s a lot of consider. Maybe I’ll have a better idea of which directions to go in when I wake up in the morning
