Still, I am not from Barcelona, no
I am not even from Madrid
I am a native of the North folk
And that could mess up any kid
And I'll wear my boots of Spanish leather
Oh, while I'm tightening my crown
I'll disappear in some flamenco
Perhaps I'll reach the other side
Why are you stabbing my illusion?
Just 'cause I stole some eagle's wings
Because you named me as your lover
Well, I thought I could be anything
Well, if you could reinvent my name
Well, if you could redirect my day
I wanna be the king of Spain

when regina spektor sang "you are my sweetest downfall" and when matt berninger sang "you know i dreamed about you for 29 years before i saw you, you know i dreamed about you, i missed you for, for 29 years" and when phoebe bridgers sang "had nothing to prove, 'til you came into my life, gave me something to lose" and when kristian matsson sang "just enough dark to see how you're the light over me" and when sufjan stevens sang "if we ever make a mess, i'll do anything for you" and when mike hadreas sang "i will take the dark part of your heart into my heart" and ellie rowsell sang "you and me were meant to be in love" and when scott hutchison sang "i might never catch a mouse and present it in my mouth, to make you feel you're with someone who deserves to be with you" they were all talking about mcwexler.

The Tallest Man On Earth | Time of the Blue
When is quiet coming?
To our minds, where we're always late
Because of dreams of no ordinary landscapes
And the 'why?' in the margin is true
Oh, please, don't doubt
I will get this, and I love you
It's just the time of the blue

Sweeten my coffee with your morning kiss
Soften my dreams with your sighs
Tell me you'll love me for a million, million years
Then, if it don't work out
Then you can tell me, "Goodbye"
If you must go, baby, I won't grieve
But just wait a lifetime before you leave
Then, if you must go
I won't tell you no, no, no
Just so that we can say that we tried

You'll build a collection of scars on your knees
To learn how to count the impossible trees
You grew up by climbin' the birches so high
And that's why you're so beautiful now
