I answered one of these the other day, but some options were missing and it didn't feel inclusive enough towards non-US people and people who didn't do university studies so...
"Still studying" = I am pursuing studies in a school (of any kind) at the moment or have enrolled to start soon.
And because these things are Complicated worldwide, please consider:
* high school: a school where you get a general education in a variety of subjects until approx. age 18; graduating from a school like allows you to enroll at university. This includes diplomas such as GCE A-Levels, baccalaureat, Abitur, Matura, etc.
** trade / vocational / technical school: may be an alternative to high school or something done after high school instead of university to learn a trade/craft; when you graduate, you are qualified for a job in the field you studied. Universities may not let you enroll or may ask you to do preparatory classes if you have this type of diploma.
*** Bachelor's degree: a degree equivalent to 3-4 years of university studies. If your diploma is not called a Bachelor but you studied for that long at a university or equivalent institution, choose this.
**** Master's degree: a ~2-3 year degree that complements a Bachelor's degree. If your diploma is not called a Master but you studied for 5+ years total at university or equivalent institution, or got extra uni-level qualifications after your first university degree (but not a PhD/MD), choose this.

I found an online vocational course website with actually reasonable prices ($500-2000 total for most with monthly payment options).
I think anyone who is in a job that they feel stuck in should do a course like this where it's 4-10 months flexible online and then you can earn $20 an hour starting out.
They even have massage therapy courses for $5k, which is half of what I spent and majority online. Im unsure what they do for the hands on hours.
Here's the site:
https://www.uscareerinstitute.edu/
Make sure to read up on the fine print though, cause some courses are only good for some states and this school is based in Colorado. Some states will require more education. I saw that on the home inspection page. Like 20 states need more education and then other states have no education requirement.

A bakery course is your gateway to mastering this culinary art, unlocking your potential as a skilled baker or even as an entrepreneur. For women, in particular, bakery courses can empower them, provide a creative outlet, and open doors to a world of exciting possibilities in the food industry. Whether it's for personal fulfillment or a professional career, a bakery course can sweeten your journey in the world of baking.

♥ Having My Wisdom Teeth Removed ♥
Yeah...I’m having my wisdom teeth removed later today. It’ll be early in the morning and I’ll be put under anesthesia, I believe. I haven’t ever had an experience like this before besides when I was younger and had my tonsils taken out. It was weird.
I will be updating this blog afterwards, but I am currently unable to drink anything until afterwards. They told me not to drink anything past midnight (or eat anything). Yes, it will be that early in the morning. I’m really nervous lol.
Now, Onto Instagram Updates
I have been posting to Instagram and Twitter the longest out of any social platform, and they are also the platforms that I now use the least. Threads and friends aside, I don’t really enjoy it much anymore. I only use it for fun shit and not much else. If I post anything there, it isn’t heavily opinionated. And when it comes to Twitter, I no longer really feel safe posting there much. It’s a lot to take in...
I use Mastodon and Aethy more, and you can also look at my PixelFed for a clean portfolio (since I post nothing but art there lol).
Life Updates
Mostly chill. Still learning things at my ‘vocational school.’ That’s what they call it, I think? It’s like a trade school, I suppose. Either way, I’ve gone on break for Christmas a while ago and I’m hoping you all had a Merry Christmas! 2024 is coming and that’s going to be a wild ride. It’s crazy I made it this far. Hope you all enjoy your New Year’s celebrations and have a wonderful 2024!
That aside, I’ve had a lovely Christmas and am happy that 2023 is finally over (despite some good things coming from it). I’m just excited for a year that could contain less problems maybe (not really, but we know that I’ll be relieved either way).

Can a Dental Assistant Become a Dentist?
Are you considering a career as a dentist? Are you unsure of where to begin?
To start a career in dentistry, you should consider becoming a dental assistant first. As a dental assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain experience working in a dental office.
This experience will help you when you’re ready to manage your own dental practice. In this article, we will discuss what a dental assistant does.
Dental Assistant Career
A dental assistant is a professional who works alongside a dentist and dental hygienist. The main responsibilities of a dental assistant include the following:
Preparing patients for procedures, cleaning, and exams
Cleaning exam rooms
Cleaning equipment before and after each patient
Assisting dentists during procedures, for instance, by handing them tools or monitoring the patients
Performing administrative and office management duties, for example, scheduling appointments and updating the patient records
To become a dental assistant, you should complete a dental assistant program. At the Institute of Medical & Business Careers, we offer a program that will teach you the skills and techniques you need to fulfill this position.
Can a Dental Assistant Become a Dentist?
A dental assistant can move on to become a dental hygienist or potentially a dentist. After completing your program at IMBC, you will have the foundational knowledge you need to build upon.
Becoming a dentist requires substantial education and training to provide oral health to patients effectively. The first step in becoming a dentist is earning a bachelor’s degree. Your degree can be in any field, but pursuing a bachelor’s in biochemistry might help you prepare for the next step in your education.
You should be aware that dental school takes four years to complete and results in either a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). To receive licensure, you’ll want to pass the National Board Dental Examinations (NBDE), a two-part test that covers dental science, ethics and clinical procedures.
You will also complete an exit examination through a program approved by your state licensing board. After you’ve become licensed to practice you can choose to specialize in specific areas such as periodontal disease or children.
IMBC’s Dental Assistant Program
Are you ready to get into the field of dentistry? Take the first step in your career by enrolling in IMBC’s dental assistant program. Our program takes about 6 weeks to complete and has an average class size of 12 students, ensuring you get your instructors’ attention and assistance.
By enrolling in IMBC, you’ll train in our large labs with actual dental equipment and tools and receive classroom instruction on-site from our experienced teachers.
