I know the April Fools episodes are jokes but it's kinda funny to analyze them Earth's nightmare seemed to be her fearing that she's a terrible person that everyone hates, dislikes, or avoids, her forgetting everything again, people not telling her things or keeping secrets from or about her, feeling powerless even to herself, losing Lunar(except for that last bit), being generally confused... And then Sun's, Sun's was all their enemies apologizing for everything they did, fixing whatever they screwed up, and disappearing, or in the case of the Creator dealing with Fazbear since Sun hates that company, and then Moon leaving after being weirded out, even Sun pointed out the sheer absurdity early on, maybe all of these incidents affect him subconsciously even more than he realizes, poor guy just wants some catharsis Earth and Sun telling one another about their weird dreams after the fact is something I could see happening too

ANON WE THINK THE SAME I WAS GONNA START THINKING TOO DEEP but I felt soo stupid but AA IM NOT ALONE!! for Earth- I guess is a mix of feeling guilty she "failed" Lunar- and fears she may be too focus on her family life she may not pay attention to Monty- also something about fearing you "did a terrible thing" and just feeling gaslited even when you know you didnt hits home.. her fear of maybe "being forgetfull and controled" may be the most obvious, yet is still interesting.. as.. for me, she gives me "hero complex" at times, thinking she is meant to be the one fixing ppl (even when I see ppl saying she never asked for this role) maybe because when made, she was mentioned as "the better version" so she goes by that.. ending up feeling both fake, try hard, yet afraid to fail and emotionally stressed out trying to be what ppl expected of her. so then- we see her fears, being seen as a bother, seen as someone to deal with rather than work with.. also, maybe is me, but she does kinda takes too hard her "brother" not wanting her in his date/celebration.. also going on over Solar "hating her" when the dude seems to be neutral with her.. that got me feeling odd, she takes simple soft push as "you hate me" .. no? they dont want you there, yet they still care to ask if you are ok.. what is she on about? (I know, is a nightmare, she is not meant to make much sense, specially as the emotional one she is.. I cant blame her too hard ) NOW SUN~ OHOHOHOHOHHHHHHH oh HE HE DOES SHOW SOO MUCH~ isnt it.. curious? of all the jokes they can make.. is ppl saying sorry ! what they show us? again, I expected actors or bloopers like other channel did! but.. now.. isnt it curous, right after he tells Eclipse to kill himself, he dreams of him saying sorry, sure, is clear Eclipse is not happy nor all sappy. not even wanting to be there with them any longer than BM did.. not saying "I hope im welcome back"-- nothing! Eclipse showed up, say his words, and choose to walk away, Sun is clearly weird out .. yet- clearly hoping to see the lie,, he doesnt, Eclipse lose more than he wins.. so Sun is left to wonder- was it true? he means it? we know Sun feared him. then hated him- has every reason to- yeeeet.. Sun has to know.. he is mad at the shell of how was a enemy. maybe having Eclipse saying sorry is the thing he needs to let go of this anger , just like Lunar did Lunar faced the big bad wolf- only to see a mere AI, broken and lost, lying to itself hoping to gain some sense of control over a life he cant even run away from.. Sun maybe needed to tell itself, via Moon "thats not the man that hurted you, thats the ghost of the past.. let it go" Moon is that side of him telling him to let go, and when things got too wild, his "reason" just had to leave- I feel thats when Sun stayed to yell, feeling too much stress confusion and cringe even (I have more to say but may do a post later on. idk) last joke video was not canon at all, yet this one is clearly tied to canon.. soo.. this has to mean something!! IM NOT LOOKING TOO DEEP YOU ARE ANON!

I hope my ramble isnt too long! but yea. I may explin myself better later on. just- I feel the fact this is DREAM and not an AU means a lot..

6. which ship fans are the most annoying?

well my first move in any fandom is always to block every single ship tag for my favorite character with the exception of maybe like 1 or 2 but for the brief stint that i did not. ok because i havent actually seen any obikk shippers outside of scrolling on japanese twitter i just know theyre out there and rampant but the irukk shippers via the "posts like this" tab on the righthand side of the screen have assaulted my poor eyes with FAR too much maskless kakashi so for naruto fandom in my personal experience theyre sitting at number 1. also the ship just annoys me on principle because i KNOWWWWWWWWWW i know the kind of people who like this ship even though its srsly the most boring thing to ever exist ever and i cant believe im saying anything mildly positive about this stupid awful ship but at least obito and kakashi have a relationship. if you make it romantic it sucks and youre ruining it but at least its something thats not worlds most bland generic found family fluff like irukk so BORINGGGGGGGGG ITS SOOOOOO BORRINGGGGGGGGG and you know exactly the people who are like "omg..... my soft uwu gay beans.... KYAAAA!!!!!" eat this up. of course not to say that the obito/kakashi people arent the exact same im sure they completely erase their canon dynamic to make it this as well but since i havent been subjected to it and god willing i never will be i cant speak of it

14. that one thing you see in fics all the time

i srsly spent way too long trawling the naruto fanfiction archives and came to the conclusion IM SO SRS SICK OF TIME TRAVEL FICS THIS SUCKSSSSSS NONE OF YOU GUYS ARE DOING ANYHTING INTERESTING WITH ITTTTTTTTT I DONT CAAAAAAAAARE I SO DONT CAAAAAAAAAAAREEEEEEEEEEE. and also just rampant wild mischaracterization everywhere its so bad its so bad like theres this really bizarre situation the naruto fandom has where people are just so so so so so bad at understanding these characters i see so much random nonsense and im like HE WOULDNT SAY THAT SHE WOULDNT DO THAT THIS WOULDNT HAPPENNNNNNNNNNNN GUUUUYSSSSSSSSSSSSS. 16. you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc)

soooooooooo soo many things but one thing that immediately jumps to mind is madara and hashirama and tobirama like i like hashirama and tobirama but not enough to actaulyl think about them and im always so shocked and surprised that people srsly like really love these guys. like for most popular things even if i wildly disagree (cough cough obito cough cough) i can see why people like them because it falls in line with the pattern of fanon behavior but hashirama and tobirama and madara im like SRSLY WHY DO YOU GUYS CARE SO MUCH.... idk maybe theres a filler arc or soemthing ill have to sit through whenever i get back to plowing away at the naruto shippuden filler. maybe one day ill post highlights of my review google doc

“I dont get what she sees in him,” Weiss said with a huff as she watched Yang attempt to flirt with Sun. “I know he’s not oblivious to it, but even after all these years, she still hasnt exactly figured out that he’s not interested.”

“Then why dont you ask her out?” Blake asked as she took a sip from her tea. “You know, instead of spying on her dates.”

Weiss rolled her eyes and turned around to take her mind off Sun and Yang. “First off, its not a date for them, and second, I cant just ask her out. There’s a process to it all. I need to make sure she’s actually interested in girls, then I need to make sure that she sees me as a potential partner, and then I can ask her out once I’m sure she wont reject me.”

“If you’re that worried, then maybe it’ll be easier for you to find someone else to crush on. I know a few people that would be interested in you.”

“Because its not that simple.” Weiss sighed and started to slouch in her seat, a habit she picked up from Ruby. Her eyes went to her coffee as she stared into her reflection. “I’ve tried dating other people like Ruby and Neptune, but it never felt… right. It still felt like some sort of connection was missing even though I knew both of them well. But Yang… any time I was around her it felt different than when I was with anyone else. Like I could be myself around her, that everything felt natural.”

“And you couldnt feel that way around Ruby or Neptune?”

“Yes. No. I… I dont know. Its hard to explain. Sure, I was myself around them, but it didnt feel… right. Maybe I’m just broken or something.”

Blake shrugged and took another sip from her tea. “Is that why you keep shooting down Sun’s advances? You know he has a crush on you, right?”

Weiss nodded softly. “He’s nice and I cant deny that he’s attractive, but I… I cant see myself with him. I just wish Yang would see that I’m right here and would do anything to make her happy.”

“Then go on a mission with her. Just the two of you.”

“You know she only does that with Ruby.” Weiss picked up a sugar cube and dropped it in her coffee and absent-mindedly stirred it. “Ever since Ozpin started sending them on those secret missions, they almost never go with anyone else unless its something simple and with more than just them.”

“Then talk to her. If all you do is sit back and wait for her, you’ll never get anywhere.”

“And what if she rejects me?”

“Then you take it with stride and move on.”

Weiss paused after dropping in another sugar cube into her coffee and stared at Blake. It was unthinkable to take that kind of rejection for Yang. It was almost like getting rejected by Winter or Ruby, the mere thought of someone she cared about rejecting her made her heart sink and her stomach turn. “I’m not going to risk it.”

Blake sighed. “Have you ever told her how you feel?”

“Well… no.”

“Then start with that. If you never do, how will you know if she will reject you?”

Weiss stirred another sugar cube into her coffee and took a sip, wincing at how sweet it was. “What if she ends up only seeing me like a sister?”

“With how much you act like Ruby, that would be a good thing, wouldnt it?”

“I dont-'' Weiss paused for a moment when she realized she stood up just like her old partner and took a breath as she composed herself. “Maybe I picked up a few habits from her, but I’ve picked up some of yours too.”

“Then you should have no problem going up to her and asking her out,” Blake said with a smirk as she stood up. “Besides, looks like she’s coming over right now.”

“Now?!” Weiss peeked over her seat to watch Yang walk over and took a deep breath to calm herself, her nerves running wild as she tried to think of the words she wanted to say. “And you’ll be here with me, right?”

“You’re on your own for this.”

“Blake!” Weiss reached out to Blake and stopped as she walked away, letting out a sigh once she was out of reach. With another deep breath, she tried to compose herself like Winter would, putting up a small smile as Yang walked over. “Yang, I didnt expect to see you here.”

“Even though you’ve been following me?” Yang asked. “And before you say anything, Sun and I both noticed since we walked in.”

“Right. I was hoping that you and I could go on a mission together. Just the two of us.”

“Actually, Sun and I already have plans to take one together. Though, you can join us if you want.”

Weiss’s smile dropped a bit as she tried to keep herself relaxed, her heart pounding quickly. “S-sure, I’d love to. And then maybe we can talk-” she paused for a moment and took a sip of her coffee, forcing down the sugary mixture. “-we can hang out more. Just the two of us.”

“I’ll text you with the details. Now will you quit following us?”

Weiss gave a nod and waited until Yang was far enough away before slumping over the table. A frown crossed her lips when she realized she did the exact same thing Ruby would in this situation, a small growl escaping her lips. “I need to quit spending so much time around Ruby. I’m never going to get anywhere like this.”

stuff about latest lookism chapters (390-398)

ok i finally caught up. originally i was just planning to read along with the webtoon but its kinda behind from the latest updates and i am.. so tired of trying to avoid spoilers 😭😭😭

here are some thoughts i wanna say !

-magami is my poor little meow meow and i love him with all my heart (more thoughts on him here <3)

-doo's character development 💪 his bromance with ryuhei was pretty sweet too <3

-i thought yall were joking when yall said ryuhei's backstory for liking mitsuki was "my dick dont work but when youre around it does [lip bite]" but it was real. holy shit.

-his romance with mitsuki was ok btw. im glad it was somewhat expanded outside of "you make my dick not broken ❤️" but i still dont think he had enough of a reason to like mitsuki so much he'd lay his life down for her. all he liked were little surface level details about her ?? 😭 ("she smiles at even little things you do for her" ok bro..)

-but idk maybe surface level attraction is all he needs to feel ready to do Anything for someone which is... just sad. either way he and mitsuki should not become a couple 💀

-w.... why is cap guy obsessed with strong guys

first look at the monster high g3 animated series

alright rather than bombard u all with a series of posts im just gonna go in for a second watch and put a play by play of my impressions under the cut. reader beware: its going to be long and stupid as hell.

0:18 the new design for the school is kind of amazing. like part of me misses the more traditional spooky-gothic-castle but like i cant deny that the big lightning bolts look cool af and i do think it has more character than the g2 which imo just kind of looked like. a school.

0:33 new spectra is soo cute lol she wasnt anywhere near my fav in the old series but smth about the big flowy purple curls is rly charming me this time around

1:10 i rly like a lot of these background monster designs. this zombie girl in particular is very cute and also i think i spied a werewolf boy in the back who i liked.

1:19 still obsessed with this cleo design. hope future dolls get better at capturing her charm and in general they stop being so weird abt her race and skin color. also for all that ive seen folks worry that this gens cutesier design will mean taking out the more horror-adjacent elements for the sake of better fitting the typical Girl Toy brand, im so happy to see mh3 doesnt shy away from a bit of tasteful gore <3

5:11 ok i know i said this when the sneak peak came out but the idea that heath is an actual demon and son of the literal DEVIL this time around, confirming that hell is real in monster high lore, is making me insane. i genuinely love it. wish theyd given heath some cute lil horns or a tail.

5:37 dracula being this like celebrity in the monster world i think is an interesting take but i feel like im gonna get so annoyed if his character starts showing up a lot. idk i dont hate it its just a weird vibe.

6:05 it took a while to click since clawdeen doesnt talk a lot in this ep but it is kind of weird hearing her (and draculaura) without an accent. i kinda found g1 draculauras voice a little grating at times so i dont mind that and i do rly like how clawdeen sounds more like an actual kid but idk i miss the accent

6:28 theres not a whole lot to say on deuce since hes only here for side gags in this ep but just wanted to go on the record with: i think hes cute

6:42 weirdly super enamored with the food-creatures, especially the burger lol. reminds me of bugsnax. also this whole fight sequence rly displays how far mh animation has come from rigid flash animations of a handful of stock characters. its neat.

9:08 lol ok i know its probably just another reference to dracula being bad with technology (cute trait for him tbh) but when i first saw this i couldnt help over-analyzing with my Lore Brain and wondering if it was also a reference to vampires not showing up on camera. but then i realized the kid he takes a pic with also has fangs and bat wings and shows up fine so thats probably not it, especially since drac canonically shows up fine in video.

9:50 the "bat out" reoccurring line is so incredibly cheesy it makes sense hes quoting it from some 70s b-movie he was in. but that doesnt make it any less cringey to me. also i know i said he kinda annoys me and he does but i do desperately wanna know how this bitch got into show business. drac backstory please. dracstory, if you will.

10:45 im reeeeally excited to see how this plot develops. i honestly assumed this series would be more like the web shorts except longer and more developed. as in, episodic and largely unrelated to one another, but im soo hype to see them doing something more serialized with overarching conflict and stakes. also we <3 classic troublemaking cant mind her own damn business toralei. like girl you have no reason for acting like this. she is simply a messy bitch.

final thoughts: really really liked it. love the visuals and the ways the new characterization plays with old beloved traits. love that this series has more of a familiar cartoon hijinks vibe rather than leaning too hard into it being like a Teen Girl Show just because the toys are first and foremost a fashion doll line. i dont know if im articulating that well i just mean i like that the girls are allowed to have like a full range of motion and action and emotion, and that they can be like gross and funny in addition to pretty. i think g1 had a good start in this regard but was definitely limited both by the animation and the expectation to follow that niche established by like barbie/bratz animated works (no hate to any of those either tho)

there are changes that ill need to get used to obviously, but i feel like the franchise is heading in a strong new direction. i saw some folks complaining that the bits about draculauras witchcraft and clawdeens half monster/half human felt like they were introduced as a means to employ annoying Fantasy Racism tropes, and thats a really valid criticism, but its also kind of something monster high has always done (with regards to monster/human conflict, certain monsters being discriminated against for certain traits, jackson jekylls entire character, etc).

i get the concern, but i feel like in a series so centered on embracing differences its kind of impossible to not include issues of discrimination, and it being a kids fantasy series, that does sometimes translate in a way that feels wonky or oversimplified at best. tho tbh monster highs execution regarding the subject always kind of felt to me like one of the better ones. idk. im just feeling good about this first look and excited to see how the show and the monster high franchise as a whole develops further as we move forward.

anyway stan g3 lagoona she deserves better than the g1 purists have been giving her.

ALRIGHT HYPOTHESIS TIME

(aka I need a refresher on the 3d games of the og timeline)

What I found so far (still to take it all with a grain of salt, you know how it is with leaks, plus this is basically sourceless so, yknow.):

First off, safe to say this is a WILD departure from both the og timeline and the current timeline, obviously there has been a timeskip, but just how much time has passed? We can make two hypothesis based on Kuai: baby boy has grown and is still rocking the beard, but Kuai has been on record to skip his 30s, 40s and 50s in the og timeline because of the dragon medallion when he became Lin Kuei Grandmaster, so either he pulled a Metal Gear Solid 4 Solid Snake and gained a couple of decades in a few years, OR time has just passed naturally and the entire old cast would be quite old... but in that case how the fuck is Kano still kicking enough to try and take over the world? My theories are 1) Aussie boys make do, even at whatever age he is (keep in mind that Kuai is probably one of the youngest character of the og cast, so Kano would be older than him), 2) Kano died in revenge but was brought back, 3) Kano regained his youth somehow OR 4) its a mistake and it's not Kano but Shang Tsung that does these things (maybe disguised as Kano or as himself and the leak might just be wrong)

So now Im gonna do a character breakdown:

Kenshi: basically the implied protagonist of this one, tho if the timeskip is real and Kuai isnt an outlier, he is MUCH younger than hes supposed to be, maybe even his own son's age from the games or even younger. His backstory with Shang Tsung and Sento might fully be intact considering Shang is on the cover AND Kenshi is already blind. From the plot description, he might have a standard "stepping up as the new hero" or smth heroic arc, almost feels like he took a page from Takeda.

Kobra: honest to god dont know, black dragon member but Im not expecting him to be super interesting, might just be a jobber like Reiko was in botr.

Kira: same goes for her, black dragon member as well but Im also expecting her to be here for some cool fights

Tremor: his ground/rock powers are definitely gonna make for some cool fights Im sure, as for the rest of the black dragons, idk what sort of arc hes gonna have, even tho I do think hes more interesting than the other two. If Johnny makes it in this movie somehow (or if hes just referenced), that would make for a fun interaction, considering Tremor is one of the only one who enjoys his movies.

Kabal: whatever goes for Kabal, he can be a good guy from the get-to, he can he a bad guy the entire time, he can have a heel-face turn during the movie, he can have a revolving door arc depending on who the winning side is. The fact that he's listed as a "ninja" above and not as a black dragon member is kinda eyebrow-raising tho... MAYBE he already defected or thats just a "vibe" description but... mmmh

RETURNING:

Kuai Liang: with what little we have so far, you really cant tell how his arc for this movie could go: did he rebuilt the Lin Kuei and became Grandmaster or did he not? It's the oldest we've ever seen him but is his age natural or medallion-induced? His main arc aka "revenge for big bro" was """TECHNICALLY""" over in botr, and judging by his advanced age implied in everything above: we skipped his second "reform the Lin Kuei" arc, meaning we dont know if he did or not. With what we have anyway, especially that line in the description, we can assume he's going thru a bit of a late midlife-crisis. So either his arc will be "the champion coming back for one last hurrah" or he will fully take on a mentor role to inspire Kenshi. Plus him having a link/alliance with Kenshi does fit their og timeline incarnations, but not wiyh such a large age gap. Anything goes, but I wouldnt be surprised if they killed him in that movie just like they did Raiden in botr. My question is: will they fully commit and give Kuai an entirely pacifist role, OR will they give him a fight, because come on, he's Sub Zero.

Kano: HONESTLY dont know what to make of it. I thought he died in revenge but he mightve not had? Or maybe he did and was brought back? Again, it all depends on how many years the timeskip is worth. Also the more I read the description, the more it doesnt sound like Kano... but also the black dragons seem heavily involved in the plot and he IS the black dragon so... yeah idk, will have to wait and see. What surprises me is that Kenshi has more beef with the red dragons, but I see why they would bring a known character back than introduce a new one.

Shang Tsung: hes on the cover art in his YOUNG form and he has history with Kenshi. So my guess is that, with Shao absent or dead, he used Kenshi to get the souls of the well of souls and get his young body back, I think he might have an important role in this movie. Plus, Shang means he may bring along with him Ermac and Mileena as he made them both (Ermac because hes relevant in Kenshi's story, and we may finally see that one concept art of Mileena that went nowhere in action). I would put my money on him being the main big bad of the movie with "Kano" being a misdirection. Idk. Like. "Take over earthrealm soul by soul". Come on.

Sonya: If Kano is a big deal in the movie, it would be WEIRD not to bring Sonya as well... but also, outside of like, implied history, she doesnt seems to actually HAVE a lot of history with Kano, no mention of him killing her partner, and she was mostly focused on saving Jax in Scorpion's Revenge, they fought for 20 seconds, and he "died". Plus (again with that damn timeskip) IF the timeskip is natural, shes either dead or. pretty old. In any case, her arc has been done so idk what would they make her do. I would except a quick nod or a cameo for her.

Johnny: same as Sonya, his arc has also been "completed" and his character relied a lot on her in these movies, so I have no idea what he would bring to the table. Im also expecting a quick nod or cameo, but it wouldnt surprise me if he doesnt come back

Jax: the special forces form a whole, and if neither Sonya nor Johnny have smth to contribuate due to either age or other factors and dont return, sadly I see Jax as unlikely to return too. THO IF the black dragon are one of the main focus, there could be some references to Mortal Kombat: Special Forces (WHICH WOULD BE SOOO HYSTERICAL)

Liu Kang: so if "Kuai Liang is the only one strong enough to take on Kano", where the hell is the Chosen One? Idk if "the winner of the tournament doesnt age" is still a thing, but youd think the twice hero who saved the world would be the first choice to stop someone threatening earthrealm. Either he was unavailable (like. He died. But come on), or my guesses are: he stayed with Kitana in Outworld/Edenia, or he took Raiden's place in the order of light's temple.

Kitana: this seems like an earthrealmer-issue so far so I dont see any edenian/outworlders being heavily involved in the plot, which mean, sadly, I wouldntbbe surprised if Kitana didnt returned other than again, cameo or quick nod. Plus she speeran her character arc in the last two movies so.

Raiden: so obviously Raiden lived at the end of botr but will they actually go somewhere with that? They could go the dark raiden arc... somehow, or they could go the "the world is safe so I will leave earthrealm's fate to the mortals" road, or he might straight up not show up.

Scorpion: babygirl has been done with his arc all on his own in the first movie, in the second movie he was here for Kuai Liang, and so far he seems absent from the third movie. Also, same problem as Liu Kang, if 60-70 Kuai Liang is the only one who can save the world, where the hell is Hanzo, who is still a wraith which doesnt age? Maybe they had a "Lets agree to never see each other again" with Kuai, or maybe he "disappeared into legend", or he went back to the netherrealm, or again, with such little information, anything goes. It would be REALLY WEIRD for the poster boy himself to NOT feature in a mortal kombat movie, but his arcs have been twice done over, so it would sadden me not to see him but it wouldnt surprise me too much if Scorpion was absent from the third movie or just having, again, a cameo/quick nod.

Bi-han: Im not betting a lot of money on it, and Quan Chi is dead, but Shang can fill the role of necromancer, or Bi-han can just come back from the dead with sheer force of will like Hanzo did. He would only come back because he was kinda wasted in Revenge, and Sub Zero Brothers Drama is always engaging to watch, but theres nothing so far that would imply his return.

YEAH I DONT SEE THEM COMING BACK:

Kung Lao: dead. Unless as revenant, somehow

Stryker: dead. Unless as revenant, somehow

Jade: sadly, if Kitana is not involved, Jade has even less chances to be able to

Shao Kahn: yeah I know "his body's gone" but I think itd be a bad call to bring him back as the main big bad again

Most Outworlders: Kintaro, D'vorah, Reiko, Li Mei and so on: they dont seem to have ANY stakes in what we know of the plot so far so I highly doubt it

Quan Chi: dead. And it would be such a fuck you in the previous movies' face if they brought him back, same goes for Shinnok

okay you've got me popping some popcorn and settling down bc I LIKE THE WAY YOU THINK AND YES GIVE ME ALL THAT PRE-DARK MOON STUFF. PLEASE. IM A SUCKER FOR GOOD HEADCANONS AND THEN CANON COMES ALONG TO RUIN SHIT. pre-dark moon my general thoughts/timeline was that the boys were born vampires, and uncommonly strong ones, so they were taken to the "orphanage" to observe their powers and raise them in a contained environment away from the world. eventually they break out (not necessarily bc orphanage evil but bc smth tells me these kids did Not want to sit down and be obedient). i also had a sense that the orphanage was a distant victorian past and the boys at decelis is the present decades later, trying to move through life away from that traumatic past. once dark moon/tamed-dashed jpn dropped i adopted more of that evil orphanage mindset. and thats when i started thinking about sooha. what if sooha was born superpowered like the boys, but because she's not an actual vamp she evaded the kidnapping by the orphanage and thats why she doesn't have that story. think about it— they could have this deep connection because they all originated together somehow, but the orphanage taking the boys separated them. and thats why the low-grade vampires are searching for sooha. because the organization realized they missed one.

hehehe YES sit down with your popcorn because boy have i got some CONTENT for YOU. idk if youd be interested in reading the old enhaverse shit i have posted or not (forewarning if you are i actually havent gone back and read it in a while so it may be. bad-- like i remember it being decent but that was like last year so my standards could have changed LMAO) but if you ARE i could link those. and also maaaan the SHIT we put sunoo's character through omg those were some wild times

firstly though id like to adress your pre-dark moon headcanons because. that actually makes a lot of sense HFBFJFBJF and it fits with the addition of sooha too! OOH WAIT OR I JUST HAD AN IDEA. in the scenario where the boys were turned into vampires (not necessarily born as them; idk how that would work so im not gonna try and figure out the logistics just yet), then experimented on to be made into the better, more functional and long-lasting superpowered vampires, maybe the superpower part was like... an afterthought of sorts, just added on to make them even BIGGER powerhouses of destruction/idk whatever. but then whoever made them (im just gonna call them the organization for now like you) may have been like "wait, could this superpower gene... work on normal humans?". so then they either take a bunch of pregnant moms OR a bunch of newborn babies and run all the experiments and shit and well,, most of them die (because a: i like angst and b: it would explain why sooha's the only superpowered human in the story/why the organization wants her so bad) except one: sooha. but sooha's mom obviously doesn't WANT her daughter to live her life as a lab rat, so she figures out a way to get her daughter and herself out, escaping and probably pulling some wild identity-alteration shit so she and her daughter can live safely without the threat of being constantly hunted hanging over their heads.

WAITWAITWAIT OR. omg okay im sorry my brain is doing one of those things where i try to figure out the plot holes of a story or concept literally as im explaining it to someone hsjbffj give me a second-- if we're going with the timeline where the "orphanage" was like a long time ago and everything. maybe sooha's MOM was one of the babies that got experimented on, and she was the only one that didnt die, but she never showed any signs of superpowers or anything so the organization figured she was a dud... but it turns out, years and years later when she has her OWN kid (sooha), whatever weird superpowered genes the organization injected her with manifest in her daughter instead, and the organization is AFTER sooha because they somehow caught wind of this miraculous superpowered child who wasn't a vampire and went "oh shit so it DID work" and now theyre after her. idk how sooha and the boys having their whole weird ✨connection✨ would work in this situation, maybe they can just feel that she has the same weird superpowered genes as them and they feel drawn to her because of it? idk

really i dont know how that entire storyline would go—i just went off on a whole other train of thought there lmao (that was not intended, sorry). now though i wanna start telling you about my friends and i's pre-dark moon ideas because it ties into the idea of how the vampires originated and also cuz. well i want to. HDJFBFJFB (im gonna group this into sections actually via titles because i have a feeling this is gonna get insanely long again)

pre-dark moon: selene and the orphanage

okay SO: the train of thought that we had initially sort of started because of the mysterious princessy/queen-y figure that appeared in the drunk-dazed mv (who i now realize was most likely meant to be sooha, but SHHH we're in pre-dark moon headcanon territory now lets ignore that). we conceptualized her as this sort of... motherly or goddess-like "vampire queen" figure. in the story we constructed, she was the one that MADE the boys, although because we were all sluts for angst and trauma it turned... very quickly dark. she was very definitely NOT a good guy lmao.

the idea with the orphanage was that the vampire queen (who i called selene, based off of the greek or roman goddess of the moon and mother of vampires-- i think, i might have my myths mixed up there) was the one that started it all. she orchestrated the orphanage, hired all the staff, ran the entire "project" so to speak: she wanted to create more vampires like her. maybe she was lonely at first, but got driven mad by the loneliness and the vampirism combined; maybe she wanted to build an army. i don't know, we never got her motives fully straightened out. the pills that the boys all took in given-taken were pills containing her blood: that was how they were turned (in our story vampires didnt get turned via biting, they got turned by consuming the blood of another vampire; i think i read about that somewhere). it was a very slow process, so the boys (who had all been brought to the orphanage as kids and grew up there together) weren't aware of what was happening until it was too late. now, we stuck with the whole "orphanage bad and abusive, enha escape" storyline from the very start, so that happened; they ran away and set out in the world on their own, constantly on the run from the orphanage and selene.

now onto the more... character-specific parts (from here on out im gonna refer to the enha boys with a c! before their names to distinguish them from the real people because the dark moon names. uh. dont exactly work with the kind of story we created lol). unbeknownst to the rest of the boys, while they were all still in the orphanage, from the time when they were little kids up until their escape, c!sunoo felt sort of estranged and overlooked—like the others didnt care about him as much, or like he was irrelevant (this wasnt true, they cared for him a lot, but you get the idea). he started building up a habit of running away from the orphanage and into the forest surrounding it, where he would meet up with selene—who at the time he didnt know was the vampire queen. selene basically fucking groomed and manipulated him jnto believing the others didnt love him, she was the only one who would ever TRULY love him, the others would never understand, etc etc. she was a massive bitch lmao that's basically it

now this idea did come in part from my love of traumatizing characters, but it ALSO came from the entire enhaverse circle on tumblr thinking sunoo in the mvs was like. evil. but artzyy and i didnt like the idea of his character being just straight-up evil and not caring about the other boys so we were like "but what if he was manipulated" and then it just sort of spiraled from there. after the boys escape the orphanage, they come across this castle where selene lives. none of the boys know all the shit she's pulled with c!sunoo—they just think she's this benevolent motherly figure, if a slightly suspicious one. after a while of staying in the castle they figure out she's no good and escape, again, but by then c!sunoo has already been roped into betraying them by selene and he works as a sort of double agent for the rest of the story, sowing their demise at selene's behest. there are... a LOT of feelings had about this, just generally, by everyone. as you'd probably expect.

another thing to know about me and my mutuals' version of the enhypen that lore is that we were all apparently gay and longing when we were coming up with all of this so we sort of projected and. made the characters into this one giant gay poly qpr situation. i really dont know what happened HHDJFHFJNFN the fever mv came out and we started making jokes about it being gay (because WE all were; still are, that hasn't changed) and the jokes became less and less like jokes the more we posted about them, which tended to happen a lot with us for some reason. so. yeah.

and THEN of course the official dark moon teasers got dropped and hybe went "haha hey theyre brothers actually" and all of us at dear old engeneblr went "haha wow okay thats great!!!" while simultaneously shoving all our gayass character ideas under the metaphorical rug. and like yeah it ended up being revealed that the guys arent BLOOD brothers, they were just raised in the orphanage together and DECIDED to be brothers, but now i see them as being far too familial for that to ever not be weird.

(i even had a thing going for a while where i was compiling all the stuff about enhaverse to make into its own story, with different names for the characters to separate them both from the dark moon boys AND from the real-life enhypen; i ended up losing interest and its remained a hardly-touched note in my phone ever since, but the character names are still on there and i think theyre pretty snazzy if i may be allowed to toot my own horn about it)

okay NOW. to address:

the rest of your ask

-because that did indeed get just as insane and long-winded as i was expecting lmao. i wanna double back for a second and kinda talk about your sooha ideas again because,, i know i went on that whole tangent about how she and they boys could be related in the whole "artificial/experimental vampire" thing i had laid out, but i really do like the idea of them somehow all being BORN superpowered like that but being seperated—if thats the case, who or what made them? how old were they when they were seperated? what the hell HAPPENED?

(i really dont know how that storyline would work but i just got a very very cute idea involving it which is just. so you know the whole concept in canon where sooha was a "princess" in a past life and the boys were her "knights"? what if those are repressed memories of them all playing make-believe as kids with sooha as the beautiful princess in the tower and the seven boys as the knights that rescued her from the fearsome dragon? what if?)

okay A N Y W A Y moving on (before i go on another tangent). jino totally burned that fucking orphanage down i dont care what anyone says, the organization probably went "hahahaha oh yeah it was an ATTACK we were ATTACKED these children TOTALLY didnt leave of their own volition they had a GREAT time here but they were FORCED to LEAVE by the ATTACK" to cover up the fact that they were harboring teens in the midst of their respective rebellious phases while also having literal superpowers without any fireproofing. like. what

"oh dont think about it too much and just enjoy the story" i cant enjoy a story with no substance. i cant ENJOY a story when theres nothing there for me to actually GET INTO. "just enjoy the story dont think about it too hard" is used for silly comedies and stuff. not THIS. i can't enjoy a story if its straight up not written well. the meaning and the trauma and the impact IS the part that i enjoy.

Honestly yeah i look for a name in the bio or just. Shorthand the username somehow because i gotta have some way to refer to people. I havent used a bio in years so people use my username all the time. Oooh norway i have always wanted to go there. I dont camp as much as id like to but i should more tbh. I have seen her stacks & i gotta say. Clara is wild cant believe i let her sit unused. I dunno how much ill get but im gonna for sure be savin as i can. I think that one is last yeah. I am always interested at the start but fade by the end because the new stuff always slows down. Same ive been playing indies more like gris & obra dinn. To try & branch out. 2. Newton gets an arc!!! Pls let it be known that, in terms of things I am excited about, priority goes Kathony kiss, mr finch cheese content, then Newton arc. Fight me!!!

3. Kate is “outside the ton and deliberately put herself in there.” EW author also called her a ‘spinster,’ which should be taken with a grain of salt would def explain her non-dance card laden wrists. I am very excited about this prospect, an improvement from canon for me.

4. The sharmas grew up in India (No comment).

5. Queen uses Edwina AS A PAWN to unmask whistledown??? Will she tell Edwina to cause more drama/advise her poorly on situations to lure LW into spotlight so Charlotte can nail to her to a time/place/person?? Eloise wants to find LW too but is protective over her. Will Edwina and Eloise be rivals in that? Will they team up and be friends like in the book? Will they and Pen have a little nerd girl squad??? This crum can only lead to great shit imo.

6. Jonny’s comment about Anthony being most “honest, fatigued and exhausted” in quiet moments in his study and in women’s beds. I wanna see him fuck someone else and then be emo about it, hope this confirms this.

7. KATE IS IN TOUCH WITH HER DESIRES !!! She’s been to a farm for sure lol, has maybe gotten herself off and potential for raunchy dreams from her AND him. They should splice the dreams together in editing, just for me to enjoy.

8. Colin is a biscuit king. Love the physical comedy and cartoonish aspect when it’s put in the show. Sibling stuff and fun moments were best part of S1. Lets hope we get a lot of this.

9. Daphne is considered ‘the rock’ of the siblings now, ‘the adult’ and someone to guide Anthony on his journey to love lol, but also she ‘lets her hair down’ at Aubrey hall and is v competitive at Pall Mall. This was the only thing they could really do with her, so I just hope the shift seems natural for her character.

12. Kate and Anthony are ‘anti-gossipers’ in Simone’s words. Makes sense for Anthony, and for both after marriage, but Kate not being into whistledown is a deviation from the book. Not mad at it, not a big deal to me either?

13. Edwina is ‘optimistic to a fault’ and looking for a LOVE match. But has a ‘wild streak’. She wants to be sensible but her true nature is to be starry-eyed idealist. it also said “She lets others speak for her bc she can’t express herself.” While i personally hope she makes out with some girls and also think she will have a classism subplot thing along with queen stuff, we know she will get a happy ending. we just don’t know what it is. What we do know is that ppl will hurt her/take advantage of her along the way, and she will hurt in return.

14. They still won’t admit Jack is the featherington heir. Which fine, I guess but I see no other way. Maybe he’s a solicitor. But he’s involved with the featheringtons for sure and idk i want him to fuck portia there i said it.

15. Pen has money she could use to help her family but doesn’t. That deviated from canon a bit but it’s interesting for sure. I think we’ll see her make as poor of decisions as last season but also show remorse. Her arc is a little too big to nail down.

16. Colin’s “not focused on romance” but “other pursuits and ventures” that dont end in heartbreak. So what you’re saying is that he’s a whore. Good. Maybe he’ll gain his interest in writing.

17. Kate’s “outside the rules” but also has “a lot to work out” this alludes to her backstory, i think. And it’s confirmed her and Ed are half sisters so we have that too.

18. The video said EW released like an hour or two ago said shit about fooling around “in the library. you never know who could be in the stacks.” Who. WHO. WHOO.

19. “And if you can’t risk temptation, watch out for bees” in regard to keeping lips to oneself. I mean if they didnt include this, it’d be ridiculous. But also maybe Kathony are already making out when the bee comes. Wouldnt be a crazy deviation.

went through the goes-wrong-verse playbills/programmes - that is, ‘the play that goes wrong’ and ‘peter pan goes wrong’ (thank you @cornleypolytechnicgoeswrong !) trying to piece together each society member’s career within the society PLUS if possible whatever it was they were doing at the polytechnic (university) course-wise, along with whatever other character snippets they give. this is mostly to inform me when writing but i thought it’d be useful for other mischief/goes wrong fans!

chris bean:

as of TPTGW is the ‘newly elected’ head of the drama society, and is known at the university for his charitable & philanhropic work. he has six acting credits within the polytechnic to his name.

i was going to presume his choice of course at the uni was acting or directing, but his PPGW bio states that his ‘dacting’ (directing and acting) is all self-taught, so who knows. maybe he’s just in the society because of his aforementioned charitable work.

robert grove:

has starred in 40 productions with the society since 2002 (when he began work at cornley polytechnic as a caretaker - i’m taking this to mean he was never actually a student there.) anyway wow explains why they call him a “veteran actor” lol.

he offers acting lessons (reacting, gesturing, emotioning and acting) and can be contacted via twitter @robertgoodactor. i’ve looked this twitter account up and it does exist it’s just not been used since 2017 - that said there are some in-character photos of henry lewis as robert and nancy zamit as annie on there and plenty of tweets.

he runs an extremely dubiously safe cornley youth theatre program and can be contacted at his email [email protected] (membership fees are non-refundable.)

trevor watson:

in TPTGW is arbitrarily from ‘the north east’ (rob falconer’s portrayal, whereas chris leask’s portrayal is firmly and specifically scouse.)

he has a twitter account (rob falconer’s portrayal) @trevtechie, with i think probably the most tweets of the cornley twitters. stopped being updated in 2017.

his participation in haversham was to complete an electronics module - as the light and sound technician i’d assume his course was in this kinda field.

he states that after haversham he wants to never work with the cornley drama society again, but as of PPGW he’s “following in his parents footsteps” and has pivoted to possibly actually studying stage management. (his PPGW bio states that he’s in his final year at the uni for the 3rd time running. so it could mean his staying on with cornley is like partially due to failing his course?)

dennis tyde:

in his TPTGW bio it states that he joined the drama society after failing to get in to any other societies.

he didn’t live on university campus and commuted in from his parents’ house. he mostly just wanted to make friends - he’s interested in snooker and wants to meet like-minded people.

in his PPGW bio he still wants to make friends and says you can reach him via twitter @dennistyde. i checked this account too and again it does exist but hasn’t been used since 2013, and there are only 3 tweets so its much more bare-bones than the others. i like his one tweet about drinking a mug of bovril to calm his nerves before a show.

as of 2021 in promotional vids we learn that dennis and robert now live together.

max bennett:

in TPTGW bio it says he was a first year studying human geography and crime which i was surprised about but sure okay. it also says here that he happily donated “a large portion of his recent inheritance” to the society to help fund it.

at the bottom of TPTGW’s cast page it states that the west end performance of the play is “made possible by a generous legacy from claude bennett” who’s presumably max’s grandfather? or just father? idk

his TPTGW bio also says his favourite movie is the legend of bagger vance which i’ve never seen but is apparently a will smith golf movie.

his hobbies as listed in his PPGW bio are chess, cooking & hanging out with friends and fam. he also dedicates his performance in PPGW to his grandma claire, which is sweet.

annie twilloil:

as of TPTGW she’s designed, built, painted, costumed & stage managed every cornley show for the past 3 years. in the PPGW bio, it states she’s studying cognitive behavioural therapy and pottery, and has taken up life drawing at the student’s union (as the model.)

after haversham, she apparently had an internship lined up at the bolton octagon.

she has WILD backstory in her PPGW bio that says she dedicated her performance to her estranged husband julian who she hoped was in the audiance and two children frangipani and ylang-ylang. not sure if the kids are with her or with the husband but either way, wild. nuts. pretty funny but also pretty tragic.

she’s also got an ad out looking for a new bloke (i suppose if her husband isn’t in the audience) apparently she’s been left by boyfriends previously for an air hostess, a stripper, and a coal miner.

she also enjoys knitting and playing the banjolin (an instrument she made herself.) her email address is [email protected].

she has a twitter account that again hasnt been used since 2017 (@annietwiloil). a couple tweets chronicle dave hearn’s shoulder dislocation but as max so i guess its canon that max also dislocated his shoulder, but he did it while trying to open a twix? lmao

sandra wilkinson:

in her TPTGW bio it states that haversham manor is her 11th production with the company. idk how frequently they put on shows.

she won some kind of local kids beauty pageant in 1998 and did some modelling for a local restaurant (the sunam balti house, which apparently the cornley crew frequent? or have at least been to - seems they struggled with spicyness levels there, especially dennis.)

nothing on her course at the university, i might just take a stab and assume she was actually doing acting, since her bio is mostly about her being a performer.

she’s a big fan of jeremy irvine, they mention him in both of her bios.

jonathan harris:

is a total health & fitness guy. his course at the uni is in physical education and he’s also a model, though who’s to say what for. in PPGW this is expanded and he’s moved on to being a combo model/actor/photographer/lifecoach.

he loves his outdoor sports: mountain biking & kayaking are noted.

he had a bath salts advert out and he hoped it was gonna go national.

lucy grove:

her surname IS grove! i wasn’t sure, but that’s confirmed. not really much about her in there, because the bio is written by robert and he just used it to gas himelf up.

can’t tell if she’s a student at the university or just in the society through robert. genuinely there’s just not a lot to go on when it comes to lucy.

another note is that the murder at haversham manor and the version of peter pan that the cornley crew perform are both written by ‘susie h. k. brideswell’ who i guess either chris knows or chris is a big fan of?

other notes... they try so hard to make out like the characters aren't all the same age like implying that robert is genuinely older than most of them etc etc but ofc the cast featured in the TV broadcasts are all visibly the same age... ofc all this is just comedy innit so you can take it or leave it

also i realised that the american version of TPTGW calls it “the cornley university drama society” since i guess you guys dont have polytechnics over there. a polytechnic is like... a university that offers the arts (among the classics you know science law what have you) basically. by 2021 in promotional videos etc. shields in character as chris has dropped “polytechnic” altogether from the group’s name (but varies between calling it ‘the cornley drama society’ and ‘the cornley amateur dramatics society’) i assume to reflect how much time has passed since the group put on their first production under chris’ leadership - and that now they’re simply operating unattached to the university because they’ve become a real family. love love love, sillyness and love.

After your second kind of a date kind of not a date your very cateful around Techno

Every part of you tells you your being paranoid, but the other knows that theres something he isn't telling you

You know the piglin to well not to know when he's lying

And you care to much to ignore it

Convinced he's done something to upset you Techno doesn't search for your company like he used to

Something both him and the voices aren't very happy about

Being in love is a new emotion for him, he loves Philza sure, he loves Steven but he's never been IN love

He never realized how different those statements were before

Just like when he goes to many days without a kill the voices begin to get louder and louder, only this time he had no idea how to please them

Before he had lost everything he could lose he used to lock himself away during these fits

Know that he knows himself better, and how to control himself, he just goes around slaying any animal that crossed paths with him

Not the most elegant solution but it brought more peace to his mind

Now with no idea how to get the voices quiet he's resorted to quite literally trapping himself in his bunker

He know's your upset

He's convinced himself it's because of him

Theres no way in hell he's going to see you when all he can think about is how good you smell, how your smile makes his frozen heart melt, how soft your skin is compared to his own, how lovingly you adjust his clothes or armour after battle

All the while he scars the stone ground with his claws, chanting mantras alongside unheard voices

It had been a good two weeks since you had heard from the piglin. Not entirely unusual for you, as you rather detested the cool weather up in the arctic. However knowing there was some sort of conflict between you and your best friend made you restless at night, you couldn't keep ignoring him. He didn't deserve that, plus you missed Philza's morning tea, the smell of campfires that clung to everything in his house, the way Steve would bring sticks for you to toss. You missed the magnificent bastards that made up the Antarctic empire. More importantly, you missed Technoblade.

By the time you reached the cabin you had noticed it was unusually still. Steve and Carl were out in the yard, mosing about but there was no sign of Technoblade or Philza. They were both pretty hard workers, stubborn as hell as well, seeing as it was half past twelve you would expect the two of them to be running around doing chores. Surprisingly however it was still, perhaps they had things inside to do? Or maybe they took your suggestion for a lunch break a bit more seriously then expected.

Entering the cabin you call out for them, nothing, looking around you couldn't help but notice how much of a mess everything was. You had only ever seen the house in this much disarray before they traveled, or that time Phil let a creeper into the house and things got fucken wild. But, if traveling was the case why was Carl out front? And why was Techno's sword hung up on the mantle.

And unsettling feeling began to creep over your shoulders as you slowly begin to pick up the clutter. You couldn't come up with a reasonable explanation for things, so you decided to wait until you could come up with one or was given one. The sun had long set before Phil arrived at the house, clearly surprised to find you still sorting through chests. Clearly worried as well.

You turn to greet the man but are quickly cut off, "what are you doing here?" He ushers quickly shitting the door behind him. "I was looking for Technoblade, why is something happening? Is the butcher gang back?" You explain, chest tightening with unease. Something was seriously wrong. "No, no nothing like that we aren't in any danger. Technoblade is having another fit, he's not doing very well at the moment. It might be best for you to leave" Phil warned, his usual cheerful voice dripping with a nervousness you hadn't heard from him in a long time. You wave off the older gentleman scoffing, "Phil you're forgetting I used to go hunting with him I've seen him pretty bad-" "He's locked himself in his bunker. He doesn't even trust himself anymore, he won't eat nor sleep, whatever he has going on in his head is far more then the two of us can handle at the moment" Phil cut you off. You stood in shock, he locked himself away? Technoblade hasn't done that in.. years! What the hell was going on with him.

You wanted to believe Phil was lying to you, that Technoblade was off terrorizing villagers and he was just buying his companion time. But the genuine look of fear in his emerald eyes made your stomach sink. "He's not well Y/N, I certainly don't want him to come back to you dead or injured. He'll come through eventually, just not right now. " The blonde approached you and wrapped strong arms around your shoulders, you hadn't even realized that you were crying until he began to shush you.

"Listen, listen, stay the night here. It's too late for you to travel especially in this sort of weather, in the morning I'll take you back home, I'll let you know immediately when hes better" He assures you, pulling away to cup your face in his hands and wipe your tears with his thumbs. "Let's get you to bed, come on, let's go." Fatherly wasn't something you saw much in Phil anymore, but you couldn't deny how comforting it was, if not a bit embarrassing to have the man tuck you into Techno's sheets before turning out the lamp.

As you lay in the blood God's bed, listening intently to the sound of the howling wind you began to scheme. Something you did best was planning, and this night was no different. You had no idea how long Techno had been like this, if you had the time to curse yourself for avoiding him you would, but for the moment you just needed to make sure he wasn't dead. Slipping from his bedroom and past Phil's you gather a plate of rather light food, knowing he'd get sick if he ate something to heavy.

Stealing one of the Piglins cloaks you shield the food with your arms as you sneak our of the house. You knew Philza only had your best interest at heart, but he should have known better then to tell you your friend was in danger. Especially when that friend was less then a brisk walk away. By the time you get to the false wall your already shivering, the wind nipping at anything it could get at. Your nose was already beginning to run as you hit the disguised button and the wall drops.

At first you see nothing, the darkness and the snow fall blinding you to the scene in front of you. Stepping into what little shelter the cave provided you struggled to steady yourself after stepping on what looked to be the remains of a netherite chestplate. Hung up on the fact that he broke netherite with supposedly his bare hands you don't realize the Piglin lunging at you until your buried in the snow. Plates long discarded and broken you stare the husk of the man you knew in his wild eyes.

Almost like you could read the voices chants of your demise in the pools of ebony fear seemed to strike you harder then his fist. You heard your ribs breaking before you felt them, thank God for adrenaline. You felt nauseous, sick even as you blindly scratch and push at the weight on top of you. Grabbing a tusk by its base you pull left as hard as you can, taking his moment of unbalance to scramble away. Your hands grope for any sort of hold in the snowbank, desperate to get away from the beast on top of you. You dont make it far however before claws tear at the clothes and skin around your ankles, pulling you towards them with little care. Your screams of pain and/or fear are cut short by clawed hands tightening around your throat. Your pathetically small ones meet his, scratching desperately at the exposed hand with one while the other grabs a fist full of snow and smashes it into his face.

The white of the snow falling around you seemed denser then before, you felt cold, to your very bone under him. Under his stare. You've looked death before in the eyes, more then on one occasion, and you had never remembered them being so beautiful. For a split second you swear you hear another voice being carried by the wind, peeling your tear welled eyes from the piglin on top of you the fall towards the direction of the cabin, then at the shards of netherite. You had looked death in the eyes before, and you had yet to die. You weren't going to now.

Grabbing the shard and effectively slicing your hand open in the process you blindly begin to swing. Your chest burns, your skin burns, your vision is beginning to dim to nothing, all you can hear is the wind. Your stabs, or attempts at stabbing does little, with what minuscule amount of consciousness you have in yourself you get one finally blow, to somewhere before you cant feel anything anymore. You had never imagined death to feel so cold.

Technoblade's eyes begin to fall back into focus, pain driving the voices in his head silent as he looks down at the shard of netherite in his arm. More importantly his eyes fall onto a golden ring on the hand belonging to his attacker. A bear etched into its surface. That was Y/N's ring, he had given it to her for christmas. Anger flooding his chest he grinds his teeth, hands tightening around their neck. What right do they have to be wearing your ring? Dark eyes fall back down onto their attacker, bloodied and bruised.. and Y/N. His heart sunk faster then an anvil in a lake, scrambling backwards from your limp body he cant decide whether to look at you or his hands covered in your blood. No, no it couldn't be you, you were.. you were mad at him why would you come up? Why would you attack him?

Crawling to his side he lifted you into his arms, inspecting you closely. This had to be some sort of trick, some sort of lie? No, no you would never attack him you loved him, he loved you! That's why he was like this he was like this because he loved you! Scared lips began to quiver, and tears began to fall and subsequently freeze to his cheeks. No, no, no.

He couldn't think, his mind flooded with the screaming of the voices in his head, begging him to save you, to help you, to hold you. For once in his life he didnt know how, he couldn't save you. He had always been your knight in shining armour, and he cant save you.

He can't save you.

look i never thought when i first created a tumblr account back when i was like 13 that id ever reach the point where i would be sitting down to make a post on how a fictional character being a DomTop and indulging his partners noncon kink does /not/ somehow destroy his characterisation but here i am.

so the incense burner chapters... admittedly, i can understand why theyre not to everyones taste but ive seen some wild takes on how it "destroys lwjs characterisation and boils him down to a stereotypical top" and tbh i just wanna defend lwj.

as a disclaimer, i just wanna say that personally, i think porn is one of the hardest things to translate well. like porn is already so hard to write well in the first place, so having it go through a translator is always gonna change the quality. so i feel like we should all take that into account before we start the whole "mxtx cant write porn" shit, because maybe her porn slaps but we arent getting the full experience (if any chinese speakers out there who've read the incense burner chapters in chinese wanna correct me on that, feel free to do so).

okay so the first point i wanna hit is that wwx, in contrast to popular belief, had stated his interest in CNC before the incense burner chapters even happen (i would nearly say that him bringing it up might have influence lwjs subconscious in a way). in chapter 115, wwx has a clear fantasy of what he thinks rape play should be, and tries first to insinuate it with lwj. when lwj makes no interest in being the reciever here, wwx offers himself up to which lwj enthusiastically responds.

what this scene does is basically set up a roleplay scene between two consenting parties that they eventually follow through with. an almost foreshadowing of whats to come if you will.

then we have the first incense burner dream. here we see two different vision, wwxs domestic haven and then lwjs fantasy of him and wwx in the library. now, to be fair, lwjs dream is told in a lot of detail and if youre anyway uncomfortable with noncon at all, of course you would find this a very uncomfortable read. to wwx and lwj its just a fantasy, in the same way that when wx first had sex, wwx told him that he should have just forced himself on him in the first place. its clearly a concept wwx in particular thinks a lot about.

but my point here is that lan wangji fantasising about something like this doesnt destroy his character, for the direct narrative sequence it follows, it actually makes sense that he was fantasising about this. especially when so much of wangxians sex dynamic is wwx pushing and prodding at lwjs restraint until he snaps. its clearly a dynamic they both enjoy and eagerly participate in. anyone is perfectly within their right to not like these chapters, but it also probably means you dont like wangxians sex scenes in general considering nearly all of them hold a similar tone, just not as intensely as the ones in the incense burners.

in the second incense burner chapter with a young lan wangji and an older wei wuxian, you actually see wangxian doing the bare minimum of setting up a cnc scene. wwx teases a younger lwj, unsure if its his one of just a dream one like the pervious dream. he wakes up and finds out lwj was actually playing the role of his younger self. both of them with that knowledge enter the dream a second time and then we have the infamous bichen scene.

idk i just feel like people want to make these moments into something theyre not. personally i think wangxians bedroom dynamic fits them perfectly, gay men are allowed to like topping without it being some hidden hate crime. let wangxian do their cringey role play and be freaky. god bless.

Okay, so I grew up Mormon (idk if you know what that is) but I left when I turned 18, but when I run into people from Church they think it’s just a phase (like going on a mission aka modern imperialism). Can I pretty please get Diavolo who visits Earth with his S/O to meet their family and them basically disowning them because they won’t return to the Church? My parents wouldn’t ever do this I just bought it was an interesting concept

The minute your parents opened the door, he knew he'd be in for a wild ride. He could already feel their challenging looks on his being before he could speak, "Hello, my name is Diavolo. Such a pleasure to meet you." And he certainly didnt miss the cringe your parents gave when they heard his name.

Of course, he ignored it for your sake. It wasnt long before conversation turned awkward, though, and way too religious for his taste. "Do you believe in the son Jesus Christ, Diavolo?" Whats he supposed to say to that? "Well... I certainly believe he lived about 2000 years ago."

"That's not what we mean. Do you believe in the the father, the son, and the Holy spirit?" He tried a small smile, noticing your fidgeting body beside him, "I certainly believe they exist." That, however, didnt keep your parents satisfied. "We're Mormon, Diavolo, I'm sure MC here has told you about that." The Demon Lord gave a simple nod, "I'm aware." You watched your father scoff, "so are you Mormon as well? Or at the very least, a good Christian?"

Diavolo almost wanted to laugh; oh if they knew. But again, he settled on a small smile and shook his head, "No. I guess the right word is Agnostic. Maybe more so Atheist." It wasnt a complete lie. Of course he believed there was something out there, he has seen it. But he cant just tell your parents he's the future ruler of hell.

Your mother let out a small gasp, and your father's frown deepened. "MC. This is unacceptable. You need to come back home right now; we need to bring you to the church and get you cleansed." This time it was Diavolo who frowned, "with all due respect, you're taking things a little too--!"

"First you bring the literal Devil into my house and now youre expecting me to let you go with him!?" Your father was agitating the demon, and you could tell. You gently took Diavolo's hand and squeezed it, trying to calm him down. "Dad, it's not like that. Hes not --..."

"MC you're not going back." It was your Mother's stern voice speaking and this time Diavolo's eyes shot to hers. "I believe MC is old enough to make their own decisions." Your father glared at him, "no. They're our child and they will do as they're told!"

Diavolo scoffed, grabbing MCs hand a little tighter. "Absolutely not. We're leaving." You shrieked a little, trying to keep up with Diavolo's strong, long strides. "MC if you leave this house dont you ever come back!" But it was too late, the minute Diavolo opened the front door you were already back in the Devildom. "Dont worry about it MC. You'll stay here. Where you can decide for your own well being."
