Yeah, another Hans, 'cause there's never enough of him.
This drawing is for the same fanfiction that I'm trying to write, but instead I've drawn that piece xdd
So, in this scene, Hans is trying to reach Ahtohallan, because he wants answers for his questions about his fire power and he thinks these are in his past.
At this moment he's not allowed to go there, and The Nøkk tries to stop him. He's, at this point very frustrated and he's ready to do anything for the answers. Even fight against Elsa.

Will we have a definitive answer about the origin of the Fifth Spirit? Because to this day we only deal with theories.
Tumblr media
I have already raised the possibility of them ignoring the term as they have been ignoring it most of the time. Fifth Spirit was basically replaced by Snow Queen, and honestly before "Disney Speedstorm" I don't even remember the last time that term was mentioned. In addition to Fifth Spirit, the Northuldras (Honeymaren, Ryder and Yelana) and Hans himself are other elements of the franchise that are also very little developed (the entire relationship between the three Northuldra and Elsa & Co. are only explored in a mobile game, and Hans himself it's officially stuck in "Frozen Fever" to this day unless you also consider the mobile game where he visits Arendelle a few times before being kicked out after causing some confusion) and they might be being saved for F3/4, but I don't know.
This image is my interpretation of this art that apparently shows the origin of the Fifth Spirit and prophesies "Frozen 2". Remembering that "creation of the world" can just be "creation of the Enchanted Forest/the four spirits".
I explained my theory better here:

Is it canon that Elsa lives inside Ahtohallan or just fanon?
It's Fanon as far as I know. There is nothing post-F2 (that I know of) that states that Elsa lives inside Ahtohallan. In fact, although not directly stated, it is heavily implied in Polar Nights that Elsa lives with or near the Northuldra.
“I’m doing better than okay. I’m great,” Elsa promised. She looked at Bruni, whose flames illuminated the small patch of snow that kept him cool. “I’ve been learning so much from the spirits, Honeymaren, Ryder, and all the Northuldra about the ways of the forest. And my trips to Ahtohallan have been”—Elsa looked too overwhelmed to even put her experiences with the magical river that contained memories of the past into words—“truly magical.”
Here, Elsa directly states that she goes on trips to Ahtohallan - if she lived inside, there would be no need for her to make trips to her. She also states that she has learned quite a bit about the forest from them, which means she spends a lot of time with them.
Elsa couldn’t help singing as she and the Water Nokk approached Ahtohallan. It was her version of greeting the Mother Spirit embodied in the glacier. Ahtohallan had become like a second home to her over the last two months. Well, not a home, exactly. But a place of peace. Just being there centered her somehow.
Here, Elsa comments that Ahothallan is a place of peace for her, and discredits her initial thought of the glacier as a second home. It seems that Ahtohallan is more akin to a church for her than a home she goes to live in.

Cassandra and Elsa in Ahtohallan.
"Now you can see how truly monstrous I became, Elsa."
Based on the "Your Better Self" fanfic by @sniperct.

I made the Black rocks that are crushing Eugene look more like a fist. I also made the memory in a cartoon style, to distinguish it more from "reality".

FROZEN // FROZEN 2: Love how Anna & Elsa are perfectly expressing the same energy of Kristoff & Hans in F1
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's a little obsession of mine, but looking at Anna and Elsa pivotal moments from F2, it seriously feels as their journeys were built on the dynamics and themes of F1, to show their growth and development: they are doing what they weren’t able to do themselves in the first movie, something that, instead, Kristoff & Hans were experiencing themselves in F1.
I know it seems as I'm reading too much into it, but here's my explain:
- Anna is leading the Earth Giants to destroy the dam because it's the right thing to do to makes repeant for King Runeard's sins, to free the Enchanted Forest and ensure Arendelle's future, even if she knows that her life won't be the same anymore, after she lost Elsa and Olaf, her relationship with Kristoff seemed broken and Arendelle will be destroyed. Similarly, Kristoff in F1 was riding on the fjord with Sven and facing the snow storm in order to save Anna from it, even if he was still believing that she got saved by Hans's "true love kiss", and so needing to return to his everyday life with this pain inside his heart
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- Elsa is preparing herself to face the Dark Sea to reach Ahtohallan and this Fifth Spirit, to honor her parents sacrifice and finally have the answers she was searching for, convinced that her duty and destiny is to be some sort of hero meant to save everyone, proving her determination by defeating the Nokk. Well, in F1, while searching for Anna and appear as some sort of hero, Hans prepares himself and his search-party to face whatever danger they might meet getting closer to the Ice Palace, coincidentally arriving when Elsa's powers are reflecting her deeply emotinally thurmoil, giving to the place a dark vibe, and this situation gets "even better" for him when Marshmallow reveals himself

The way the scenes are built is nearly identical between the two movies, but the best way to put it down is that Frozen 2 turns the expectations in a story with a much greater scale compared to the first movie.
Most importantly:
F1 story works through Anna & Elsa being separated, in order to bring their relationship back at the center.
F2 story works through Anna & Elsa being together, in order to evolve their relationship and find their roles in the world.

How Elsa says
“Ahtohallan is Frozen”
Ahtohallan is Elsa because Elsa is THE MOVIE FROZEN - Ahtohallan is referring to Frozen 1 where Elsa was so lost and depressed and now that she found Ahtohallan, she also found herself ;
“I hear you and i’m coming” - This is so special. I heard people say it’s just her mother calling her (and yes she sees her later on those memory walls) but she truly ONLY is hearing herself for the first time and she’s ready to live her life as she is.
This moment makes me cry every. single. time. And I hate Frozen 2 and this whole fifth spirit thing but I do get the meaning behind Show Yourself and I must say that this song makes my jaw go straight on the floor.

Fifth Spirit origin fanfic + retelling of Frozen 2
VS
Just retelling of Frozen 2
Tumblr media
I don't deny that the other theory is easier to be possible than my fanfic, which has certain parts that even I can't explain 100% and I rely too much on elements told in other media like number 3, although this number 3 also be a theory.
And number 2 in my fanfic is maybe exaggerated and is just a couple, maybe even Agduna before they die and that's why the ground below them isn't flat, it's the boat.
Remembering: the position of the spirits is in accordance with the symbol that represents their element.
But if it's really just a retelling, I don't like that the position of the images (which are not the spirits) is apparently random, although it's possible to try to create some logic.
But regardless of the origin, I still want an official explanation of the Fifth Spirit in "Frozen 3" or/and "Frozen 4". Stop releasing enigmatic images.
