a group of people are already awkwardly standing around when you approach the building. a ‘ding’ chimes as soon as you enter the doorway, confirming your participation. you grab one of the phones on the table and sign in before moving to lean against the wall. chishiya stands next to you, subtly judging the people around you.
“registration closed. game: dead or alive. difficulty: three of clubs,” the announcement begins. “rules: players must choose between two doors to exit the building. game clear: players exit the building safely within the time limit. game over: players enter the wrong room or run out of time.”
a clock hanging on the wall lights up with a timer counting down from two minutes. the people around you begin to panic.
“life or death?” a woman reads. she’s wearing an apron covered in flour, nervously looking around the room. “how do we know which one to choose?”
“just pick one,” a man argues. he’s in jeans and a stained shirt that reeks of alcohol, even in the borderlands. his words slur together a little. “we’re all gonna die anyways.”
“nobody has to die,” you interrupt. “we can work together to win this one. we still have one minute and forty seconds left.” you glance between the two doors. they both look the same- artwork printed on the top half of a door labeled either “life” or “death.”
“it’s life,” a man wearing a business suit says. his voice is deep and confident. there are no wrinkles or imperfections in his clothes though he looks tired. he peers at you through thick glasses perched on his nose.
a high school girl nervously runs towards the door, swinging it open and stepping inside. less than a second later, a laser shoots through the ceiling and her body falls to the ground. your body stiffens next to chishiya. you stare at her corpse in shock until he starts pulling your arm, shoving you through the death door and slamming it shut behind himself. the room sets alight as soon as he does.
“why would you do that?” the woman wearing an apron yells. “she was just a kid!”
“these are death games,” the businessman apathetically responds. crooked fingers raise to push his glasses up, staring at you. “sacrifice is always necessary.”
“we’re running out of time,” a teenager mumbles. he still has a bike helmet strapped on. “we need to choose another door.”
time continues to tick down. panic engulfs the room. the woman nervously glances between the two doors before she closes her eyes, placing her hand on the handle of the life door and swinging it open. after a few seconds she lets out a relieved gasp. you’re quick to follow her out of the room, shutting the door behind you.
the next room looks exactly the same as the others. a gray room with two doors, one labeled ‘life’ and the other ‘death.’ the timer is becoming faster now.
“we should take turns choosing doors,” the woman suggests. “i picked the last one, it’s someone else’s turn.”
“that sounds fair, right?” the high school boy anxiously fiddles with the clasp of his helmet. he glances at the time before turning to you. “i think they should go.”
you flinch a little from the sudden suggestion but nod. “okay.” before you can leave to open a door chishiya pulls you back by your arm, leaning in to whisper in your ear.
“pick death.” he has no expression when you look at him but gives you a small nod towards the door. your hand shakes a little when you set it on the handle, swinging the door open and stepping into the room. after a few seconds of nothing happening, you let out a small sigh of relief.
“who goes next?” you ask, looking between the teenager and the businessman.
“your friend should go,” the businessman says. “he said something to you before you picked the door. what was it?”
“why does that matter?”
“he hasn’t said a word since we got here. for all we know, he could be a part of the games.” the woman shrinks back away from you at his words. you scoff.
“you really think whoever is running these games is sending in spies?”
“he’s right,” the teenager says, moving to the other side of the room next to the woman. “how do we know who you are?”
“we’re running out of time,” chishiya says. only thirty seconds remain on the timer. he grabs your hand, moving to the ‘life’ door and opening it. after a few uneventful seconds, the others rush into the room behind you.
“he’s gotten every single answer right,” the businessman argues. “how?”
chishiya sighs. “the building is shaped like a square. there’s one room in the middle and eight rooms surrounding it. the girl who opened the first door led to the room in the middle. if we stick to the edges of the building we’ll be able to complete the game.”
“how long have you known how to win?” the woman yells. “why did you let that girl die? how can we trust you?”
“i wasn’t sure until the second room.”
“if you’re so sure, then open the wrong door.” the businessman says. “if you’re right, then the middle room will have more than one door and we’ll be able to see inside.”
“are you a fucking idiot?” the words leave your mouth before you realize what they are, only spurred on by the anger coursing through you. “seriously, who do you think you are? you’ve done nothing but guess your way through the game and now that we have a strategy you’re complaining about the plan working? shut up and listen for once. he’s saving your lives!”
you take a breath to calm yourself, almost shrinking back to chishiya’s side. he glances over his shoulder at you, silently reaching over to take your hand into his. the group stares between you, chishiya, and the businessman but you ignore them. the warmth of chishiya’s hand in yours calms you.
“it has to be death,” he says, turning back to the group. “open the door.” nobody moves until you drag him with you to the door, swinging it open and entering the next room.
you follow chishiya through the rest of the rooms until you end up at the final room. “wait,” he pulls you back, next to his side. there are only ten seconds on the timer. “the ‘life’ door leads to the middle room but the ‘death’ one goes back to the original room.”
“the entrance and exit must be the same.” you rush to the door, quickly throwing it open and running out of the room. the fire barely misses you as it scorches the room, setting it alight in flames. you pant, leaning back against the wall of the original room.
your phone chimes in your pocket. “game cleared. congratulations.”
chishiya’s hand remains in yours, leading you out of the building. the cool night air feels good against your skin. he squeezes your hand, letting himself slightly relax. “thank you,” he whispers. “for standing up for me. for trusting me.”
you nod, pulling him into a hug. chishiya stiffens a little, awkwardly standing in front of you before hesitantly wrapping his arms around you. “of course i trust you. i love you.”
chishiya presses a kiss against your forehead, pulling you a little closer. “i love you too.”

it was not only that, but you knew you had to win this game— for a fighting chance at love, and for a chance to have friends that meant a lot to you.
Tumblr media
mira kano had only one goal, which was to make you forfeit the game— so you couldn’t find the truth, and never return to your world. and you had to admit, she had the skill to make you feel like you never existed; perhaps it was a perk of her being a physicalist. she knew the way around the human body, aka the mind.
no matter how hard you wanted to focus on croquet, she had questions after questions— that targeted towards you and your brother.
“karube left me…” your eyes watered, looking down to see your hands already fidgeting with themselves.
“and how does that make you feel, [y/n]? how did you feel when your big brother left you? to fend for yourself?” mira always had this comforting voice, which compelled you even more to reply to her nonsense.
it wasn’t like he actually left you… one day, you two were playing a game until he had gone his separate way due to the king of spades massive shoot-out. and so, you never saw him again— but he still wanted to protect you, right?
you kept quiet, feeling your eyes water as she slided the pills towards you, following up with a cup of water. “this’ll make you feel better… why don’t you take this and then answer me?” she kept on persisting on you and arisu to take the pills, but usagi didn’t like the idea of that. she knew what mira was trying to do; make you two forfeit so you could lose the game. “you guys, snap out of it! she’s trying to trick you both into forfeiting! please!” usagi yelled, shaking the two of you.
“no— i… it’s true though. maybe he doesn’t actually care about me.. the pills will make me feel better, right?” your eyes darted towards the pills, your hands reaching for them but an abrupt slapped them away from your touch. “[y/n], you can’t! please— come back to me. look at me and tell me that you’re here… with us, with me!”
usagi grabbed your hands, looking up to you— “[y/n]…” she whispered into a crying sob, looking over at arisu who was currently on the floor. “i know you want to escape, [y/n]… just say you quit and you can be free. you may not even be real…” the queen of hearts surely had a way with her words, to the point where it was truely believable to the human mind.
snapping back to reality, you saw usagi holding a piece of glass, placing it near her wrist. “usagi—” your sentence was cut off by her swift movement cutting her wrist to prove that this was real. “usagi!” you yelled, catching her into your arms as you softly placed her on the ground, your lap as a pillow for her head. “just win this for me and arisu… i want the chance to shop at the mall with you, do our taxes together, and maybe when do mountain climbing…” as each second grew, her voice declined more into a little rasp. this is when you knew you had to win, for them.
“i still want to play, mira! i want to do the last round!” within a heartbeat, you stood up holding the croquet stick. “as you wish,” her lips quivered into a small smile, holding hers straight.
positioning yourself, you aimed your stick towards one of the ball so it could enter through the little hoops, and to your success it did. and as said, the game would go on for about 3 hours— which meant… you made it towards the end. you finally beat the final face game. the queen of hearts.
even so, listening to her goodbye speech made you realize something… life was too short, and it was sure risk taking. in addition to that, there were two choices— to either decline or accept staying in the current world you were in.
as caption obvious, you all said decline. you wanted to go to your world that you could see all your friends, but possibly, not see your current ones that you trusted as of now. it was apart of the choice though, to take that chance.
you rushed down the building, sprinting your way towards chishiya, ignoring nigari ( BOOO, 🍅 ). “hey, you actually did it.” his lips curled into a smirk, his eyes squinting at the bright light. “please shut up and just fucking decline the offer, shuntaro.” you held onto his hand, still looking over at his wound. he let out a little chuckle, tightening the grip onto your hold. “i decline,”
chishiya pulled you closer, letting you lean on his chest with ease. but everything felt weird as the fireworks went off, and it ended off with you dozing off and ending up in a new place. your world, that you all knew.
“[y/n], come!” your friends called you over, waving at this outside cafe area. “coming!” you yelled back, jogging over to see their smiles. “so, did you hear? kai’s university was struck down by a meteor… and thank god he’s still beside us!” one of them spoke, but it seemed like another thing was catching their attention.
“you mean that one…?”
Tumblr media

Banda x GN!Reader
Genre: ?? (TW: Banda is a TW in itself, idk) ?? Basically Banda being your stalker in the real world, and you meet him again in one of your games [REQUESTED]
["I always feel like, somebody's watching me."]
Unsettled.
They didn't know why they felt that way almost all the time, but it sent goose bumps up their skin- the hair on their skin standing. No matter where they went, they felt as if there was somebody staring at them, but every time they whipped their head around as if to catch the culprit, there was no one there.
Once, they got home to see their living room lights open and their eyebrows knit together in confusion. They knew for sure they switched all the lights off before they left. They went to the kitchen, seeing their honey scented lip balm lying on the floor.
"Strange, i thought I lost this."
<><><>
The unsettling feeling left for a while since they joined the games, but yet again they felt as if it was back.
"You seem nervous"
Chishiya's voice brought them back to their senses. They were walking into a prison for a Jack of Hearts game, and they just realized they were zoned out while walking.
"I'm not nervous"
"Your nibbling your bottom lip, and your eyes are unmoving and staring at nothing as we walk. You're toying with the hem of your shirt and you keep exhaling deeply every few seconds. You're usually only this ay when you're nervous. So tell me what's wrong"
Screw Cheese Boy and his attentiveness.
Fortunately Chishiya left them alone as they got into the room and put a collar on, Y/N copying his movements.
They felt unnerved again, but this time felt stronger than before. They glanced around the room until they noticed one of the people already staring.
A male with kempt hair and a slightly wrinkled light navy polo with a few buttons undone revealing a white shirt stared at them intently. They noticed how much he reminded them of Chishiya- the slightly raised eyebrows and a smirk on his features. Yet his smirk felt different.
It's as if he recognized you, and his smirk only displayed how pleased he was to be in the same room as you.
Unsettling.
<><><>
"Y/N"
They were picking out snacks when they heard their name called. Thinking it was Chishiya they turned around, only to be surprised seeing it was the same male from earlier.
Since when did they introduce themselves?
"How.. how the heck do you know my name?" Y/N retaliated, and the male took a few steps forward, causing Y/N to step back. They felt the shelves behind them, and before they could move the male had placed his hands on either side of their head so they couldn't escape. His hand drifting down their side before reaching Y/N's pockets, pulling out the honey scented lip balm.
"You know, I missed this. I shouldn't have left it behind when you almost caught me in our house." He chuckled. Y/N's eyes widened.
"Since when did you have keys to my house?!"
"Not my fault you keep it on the fire extinguisher case next to your door, princess. It was so easy to see, like you were practically begging me to come inside your home."
Y/N felt as if there were bugs crawling on her skin. The male only laughed in triumph, opening the lip balm and putting some on Y/N's lips before his own, then storing it back in their bag.
So he was the guy watching them. He probably knew everything about them now, since Y/N already felt this way  a few months before the games.
"You creep!" Y/N hissed, pushing him in the chest so he backs away.
He glances Y/N up and down before shaking his head in amusement, turning to leave.
"My name's Banda Sunato, darling" he winked, before disappearing down the corridor.
Guess this game is going to be pretty eventful.
Author's note: Hello requester-san! I hope you liked this. I love Banda sm but idk how to write him :') Sorry if this didn't come out the way you wanted it to! Idk if u wanted this to be romantic/platonic so I improvised instead. Anw, have a great rest of your day everyone! <3

It's in the middle of the night. I have never been the person who has problems sleeping through the night. Even the biggest noises couldn't stop me from slumbering soundly. In summer, I can leave the windows open and listen to the buzzing and singing of the insects without a care in the world until I drift off into dreamland. Wind and weather don't stop me either. You could say that my body is able to adapt to all the conditions of my environment. So ... even now, when I realize in my sleep that something - more someone - is missing next to me.
I've noticed it all along. Even when I met Niragi again, I had the feeling that he had changed. Not in terms of his appearance- at least that was never the deciding factor for me. Admittedly, when I saw him again for the first time after the witch hunt, I was ... shocked. Because of several aspects. His scars - his burnt skin - was one thing, but seeing him again when I once thought he ... would no longer be with us, that was the crux of my reaction. That I drew in a startled breath. That I looked at him in shock and, of course, in tears, which I had swallowed at that moment. I was ... simply happy. To see that he was still alive.
Anyway, this is the first time I've had to open my eyes in the middle of the night because my body couldn't adapt to my surroundings during sleep. As soon as I went to bed, I had a feeling that something was wrong with Niragi. And it looks like I'm about to find out whether my gut feeling was right or not. Deep down, I already know the answer, but I want to hear it from him. I want him to tell me what's going on in his head right now. How he feels. What is bothering him. If something is bothering him.
Looking thoughtfully at my partner's side of the bed, I gradually start to move, hoping it won't take me long to find him. So, sighing and wearily brushing my hair out of my face, I get up and put one foot in front of the other to look for Niragi, who apparently hasn't even bothered to really hide.
"Niragi, what's wrong?" I rub one of my eyes sleepily and look just as sleepily at the boy standing on the balcony of the building where we've set up camp today. "Come back to bed, it's still pitch dark."
"I can sleep when I'm dead." It's not that I wouldn't expect him to say something like that- but what worries me is the way he says it.
Instead of saying anything, however, I just stand still for a moment and stare over at him. He doesn't even dare to turn towards me when we talk. I don't know him like this at all.
"I'm worried about you," you say in a calm tone as you walk towards him, aiming to stand next to him so you can look over the rooftops of the city with him. "Somehow I don't recognize you anymore," you continue, "where's the Niragi I met at the beach? The one with the big mouth and the high self-confidence, with the will of a leader?" Silence.
A moment later, all I hear is a hysterical giggle, which was obviously not the result of amusement or mirth. No, it sounded ... forced ... and hurt at the same time.
"He's been burned." Such a simple answer, but one with such great significance. "You should really go back to bed now."
"I'm not going anywhere." Determined, I now walk the last few meters towards him, after which I stand next to him. "Not without you." Unlike what I had planned, however, I don't stand so that I can see the loss, dark surroundings, but so that I am facing Niragi directly. "I knew something was wrong with you. I could tell by looking at you. Even yesterday, when you wished me a good night, your eyes betrayed you- so please don't pretend you don't care." Pause. "You are a human being. Not a robot."
"I'm a monster, Y/N!", he yelled at me and I jumped back a little because he turned around so suddenly and unexpectedly to finally look me in the face. "I can't even understand how you could even look at me on the street without throwing up right at my feet!" But just as quickly as he hit the ceiling, he quickly calmed down again.
I am sad. Is that really what he thinks? Does he really see himself as he has just described? As a monster? Oh, I'd love to ask what makes him think that, but I won't. I know the reason. His burns. The scars Chishiya left on him are the reason he speaks so poorly of himself. And it hurts. It hurts to know that a person in whom you see everything wonderful and whom you love for who he is, thinks of himself like that.
"Oh, darlin', that's not true ..." I realize how pitiful I'm looking at him right now, the softer his features become and the more he shows his mental pain to the outside world. "Please, don't say that ... Scars don't make you a monster."
"Just tell me how you can look at me like that without being afraid of me. How you ... how you can hold me in your arms without being disgusted by my skin. Without worrying about hurting me or feeling the need to puke your soul o-" I don't want to hear about that.
I understood the question. He wants answers? He'll get them. My way. The way in which I don't let him speak, but simply put one of my arms loosely around his neck to pull him into a loving kiss that for just a moment - a brief moment - is supposed to make the world stop for him.
Something that seems to work well. At least he abruptly matches my rhythm and wraps his arms around my waist to press me closer to him. To be able to feel me even better. To feel that he is not alone. Will not be alone. And to feel that there is someone who can be there for him and wants to be there.
I ... have to admit that no kiss with him was as beautiful as this one. Niragi is a rough person. He gets what he wants, his kisses were molded to his personality. Ungentle. Lots of tongue and especially biting. All the more reason for me to enjoy the kiss we're sharing right now, because who knows if I will ever experience this again.
Nevertheless, you should stop where it gets most beautiful. Although the really nice part - for him - is probably only now. One answer. An answer that will answer all his questions in one fell swoop.
"I love you," I breathe to him, tilting my head a little to the side as I look up at him and into his eyes. "That's why I can do all this, Niragi, it ... It's not as complicated and complex as you might have thought." I gave him a little smile and I can see it in his face- he's smiling a little, too. "And now come back to bed. You need to rest a bit and give your injuries a treatment. And by the way ... I'm tired and want to go back to sleep." Laughter, which only comes from me, but that's okay- his smile is enough for me. "Plus, I'm in desperate need of a good cuddle from you right now." Now, I can hear him chuckle a little and damn, it's the most beautiful I could ever hear coming out from him.
After another peck on the lips from him, I take him by the hand and walk him back into the building, where a place to sleep is waiting for us. In passing, I hear him say "I don't deserve you ...", which was probably only meant for him. But ...
"If everyone only got what they deserved, they couldn't possibly be happy in their lives, don't you think?"

A/N: Damn, I enjoyed writing this so much. Thanks for you request, stygianoir! Hope you enjoyed reading it as well. 🙈♥️

chishiya x reader where they are dating pre-borderlands and they have to hide their relationship when they get transferred to that world/reach the beach !
★・・・・★・・・・★
universe: alice in borderland
warnings: death, torture mentioned
★・・・・★・・・・★
Tumblr media
While tidying your room at the beach, you started to feel more nostalgic every second of sorting your clothes or going through all of the stuff on your desk to make it look decent. your mind has been interrupted lately. Every time you had a little moment of free time you would think about the past and how good would it be to be back. How many nights were you crying your eyes out about it? You're not sure.
Every problem you had before getting to this world seems ridiculously simple to you now.
Way back the only problem you had was to find at least a couple of minutes a day to see your beloved one. Chishiya's schedule was always full since most of his time he would spend at the hospital. You could understand it, you loved him no matter what, and whenever you got a chance to see each other - you would use that time in the best way possible. To make it up to you, he would take you to cozy bars and restaurants for dinner or just spend the time watching TV and cuddling on the couch. Chishiya was always tired, obviously, you knew that, but he would still make sure you fall asleep first. You would often find him sleeping on the floor or by the dining table in various uncomfortable positions, mostly surrounded by tons and tons of medical books.
Well, while dating him at first you had no idea that your feelings are gonna develop so fast that by the end of your eight months together you decided to find an apartment. You loved the area since it was close not only to your job but also to Chishiya's hospital. Unfortunately, it didn't take long for you to realize that you would spend most days alone there. None of you found it a problem, you would just use all the time you had possible.
Chishiya wasn't a very touchy person, he was a man of his word and act. He would help you with the cooking on his days off, sometimes even cooking by himself to surprise you. He was a great cook but a very tired and overwhelmed one so you wouldn't ever expect him to do that more than once a week. He never forgot any anniversaries, birthdays, or holidays. Gifting you was his favorite way of showing you affection even if he never seem to like it. Whenever he promised you something, no matter what it was - he was going to make that happen. Every single time. Also, even if he never seemed to like touching, he would find himself cuddling you in your sleep or when you were watching movies. Playing with your hair or clothes has always been very relaxing to him. He also adored watching you going through your day. Whenever he was home, he would sneak behind you while you were washing the dishes or cooking, maybe sometimes when you would bring some work home. He adored you and would smile every time you were together, even through the toughest of days.
You supported each other no matter what, you were always there for each other and honestly, you were always open about your emotions. Arguments weren't your thing. You would calmly explain everything to each other and try to get the other side to find the best possible compromise.
Now, you could only dream about getting back to how things were.
As soon as you finished your first game, Chishiya told you to act like you don't know him next time. He knew that people would use your relationship to their advantage, trying to separate you or just use one of you to get rid of the other one. No matter how much it hurt, you understood him and decided to do everything as he said. You wouldn't participate in games together until they were group ones. That would always give you additional chances of surviving since some of the games would let only one player win.
Every time you were alone, you would talk about anything other than games to just try to act as if things were normal. Both of you were aware they were not, but that was the least you could do, right?
You thought things couldn't get worse for both of you. Well, they eventually did. Joining the beach was better than you expected in most cases, but it ruined your relationship. You didn't even know if you were dating anymore since you wouldn't talk that much. On your first day, you realized that being open about your relationship wasn't an option. You just needed a single, quick look at Chishiya's face to understand what was going on. He didn't trust any of those people, maybe only Kuina a little bit later on. You stepped aside and decided to play his game. He made up a story that you met each other at your third game and you had luck ever since. Most of the time you both would just play dumb, so people wouldn't mind you. You acted as if you didn't understand the game dynamics and they were all just kinda random. The truth was, it took Chishiya only three games to get the scheme and predict what will be the last option. He was incredibly intelligent, which is one of many things you love about him so much. You were never too far behind him tho, since you were the one who after hearing the rules of a game would think of your strategy, mostly trying to cheat your way out without breaking any of the said rules. You were a great duo and you loved that you could always depend on each other.
The problem began when the Hatter wanted to test both of you to see if it was a good decision to let you stay. You were sent to a game together with a couple of people from the beach. The shock on everyone's faces was unforgettable since you and Chishiya were the only ones who got back. You couldn't explain what happened, you were just in too much shock to understand it. Chishiya had to be the one to explain that the reason you survived was that you didn't tell other people anything. What did you know? Well, the rules of the game were really simple. It was just a regular guessing game from which you would get a sentence based on a couple of simple verbs and adjectives and you had to guess what they describe. The game had to last 120 minutes and after that, every person who wasn't eliminated could just leave. Something you noticed was that the answer was hidden in one of the previous sentences. You could hear at least a couple of words before your turn. Everything was connected to each other and all you had to do was memorize previous words.
All fourteen players sat down in a circle and all of them would get one sentence per round. After the round, the person who either didn't guess or took too long to guess would be electrocuted. You sat right next to Chishiya and you could talk in between rounds. After the first one, you explained how to win since you noticed the pattern. Your man only nodded his head and looked in the other direction for nobody to notice something was wrong.
The true problem began when the about of people in the game would get smaller and smaller and eventually it was only three of you and 29 seconds until the game was over. If the woman who was sitting opposite you would get her answer right, you had to be very very quick to get Chishiya some time to figure out his answer. To your fortune - she wasn't right and the time run out before she stopped getting eliminated. Since it was only the two of you, you expressed your joy by running into each other's arms, you couldn't even see anything because happy tears covered your eyes.
When you were back, you had to act like strangers again and that was killing you every single second where you could only look at the love of your life from far. He would occasionally talk to you in public, but only if he really had to. You couldn't even think of touching him or holding his hand, obviously. Yes, he would sometimes sneak into your room to sleep there, but after some time it got too dangerous since drunk people would occasionally get into the wrong room. That was keeping you both safe but sometimes you felt as if it wasn't enough.
Getting back to tidying your room wasn't that easy since you were already crying about all of the memories you just recalled. You just sat on your bed, trying to catch your breath as you heard someone opening the door. It was your day to clean the pool with a couple of other people so you just thought it was one of them.
- I'll be downstairs in a couple of minutes, I didn't forget. - you said.
The person didn't leave, just closed the door and moved toward you. They quietly kneeled in front of your face, covered by your shaking hands, and moved them away.
- I'm so sorry, sweetheart. - whispered a way-too-familiar, calming voice.
You looked at the person in shock. It was the first time in weeks since Chishiya got even close to you, and now? He was right there, in front of you with that smile and warm, loving eyes. You needed him more than anything and you were so happy that after all, you'll always be his lover, he'll always be there for you, just not as he normally would. But when everything isn't normal, you too need to adjust and now you knew - you don't have to worry. Just one look at him melted your heart, and you could feel as if you were right where you belonged.

Needing You
Tumblr media
Request: Could you write something about Chishiya, guy who has a nightmare about the reader, this would be outside of Borderland's. I would really appreciate it and I love the way you write, by the way english is not my first language.
By: @cresentmoon8
Summary: After meeting you and escaping borderlands, Chishiya thought that the nightmare of a life he was living was over. But the nightmare of almost seeing you die during a game still follows him. He’s always put up a front as being a strong person, but after this last nightmare he can’t help himself and carry out the need to hold you close and cry in your arms.
Pairing: Chishiya x reader
Genre: nightmares, fluff, angst
Rating: V
Warnings: post borderlands, nightmares, murder, blood, crying Chishiya, cuddling, neglectful parents, familial pressure, one kiss
A/N: Not me writing a AIB fic LOL! It’s been so long since I even thought about writing for AIB (even though I’m still obsessed with the fandom), but once I got this request I was all for it. My requests are still closed for this fandom, but I thought this was such a good idea, and I needed a fluff cleanser anyway XD Enjoy bbys!
。・°°・°°・。 。・°°・°°・。 。・°°・°°・。
Drip… Drip… Drip…
Chishiya slowly opens his eyes, the fog not letting his vision stay clear. The outlines of his vision is still hazy even after he blinks his eyes a few times.
Drip.. Drip.. Drip..
He goes to rub his head, a sudden sting hitting his temples or at least he thinks there should be, but realizes he’s tied to a chair - unable to move anything, but his head.
DripDripDripDripDrip
He hears the sound of something dripping on repeat drip faster. The sound doesn’t have him looking around in search for its owner, though, but the smell that is coming from it. It’s the smell of bone and blood. Two things he’s been accustomed to longer than he would like too admit.
It’s then he realizes he doesn’t know where you are. If he’s strapped to this chair, then where could you be? The last time he saw you was when entering a game-
Turning his head slightly, he finds his answer. You’re strapped to a chair, head down, and blood dripping off your face. Chishiya goes to scream, yell, anything to get your attention but no sound comes out. He struggles in his restrains, trying to get to you, but somehow the ropes around his body get tighter - stopping himself from having any ability to move.
Step. Step. Step.
He hears a new sound, and stops his struggle. It’s a sound of footsteps that’s owner he hasn’t thought about in a long time. Something you helped him forget about, but always in the back of his mind would know forever. The steps of a man always filled with determination and pride, but he would use those boots to stomp on Chishiya’s own pride and determination have change he got.
Chishiya looks around, wondering where the steps are coming from in this extreme dark room. After looking behind him, he looks back at you, and sees the man right behind you. The man’s who’s footsteps halted, and look down at him through his glasses.
“What a disappointment you were Shuntaro. Can’t even save your own girlfriend.” His father says, although his face is extremely dark to see the usual strong features his father has.
Chishiya’s father then grabs at your hair, pulling your head back and pulling out a knife that he aims at your throat. Chishiya screams at him to stop, but once again no sounds comes out. This time, as he moves to get out of his restrains, his chair also starts to move backwards. Away from you slowly and getting faster by the second.
No matter how tight the retrains get he still try’s to get to you, all the while not taking his eyes off of you. Your face is bloody, and the blood continues to pour off of you profusely. Your eyes slowly peel open, and Chishiya freezes. Your eyes are like a void instead of there usual bright color. The whites of your eyes gray and creamy.
“Why, Chishiya?” You cry to him, blood increasing as it starts coming out of your eyes now. “I thought you loved me.”
Chishiya does love you, he tries to scream that to you even as the horrific sight of you bleeding from nothing is making his heart beat like crazy. He feels tears fall down his face, this all to much for him to hold it back.
His father chuckles at him, and how white teeth shin against his dark face. “Pathetic,” His father says before slitting your throat. Him undoubtedly cutting the right jugular to kill you.
Chishiya screams, and screams, and screams, but it’s all silent. His ears ring, and tears fall from his eyes while he watches you slowly die and choke on your own blood. With one last big breathe to scream at his father all of his hate, he…
———
Chishiya jolts up out of bed, the scream from his dream joining him as he wakes up from a terrifying nightmare of almost watching you die in front of him again. He clutch’s at his chest, feeling his heart against his palm through his shirt and beating to fast to be okay.
You jolt awake when you hear Chishiya scream next to you, rolling over to hold him by his hips even if he’s not sensing you’re there at the moment. This has been happening a lot lately. Ever since you both exited the games, the last game being the worst of all, Chishiya has been suffering from nightmares.
He never tells you what there about, but the way he jolts awake always wakes you up too. The games making you wake up from the slightest movements now, and that trait following you even after escaping.
“Chishiya… it’s okay… I’m here, your alive-“ You stop your usual soothing words when you hear Chishiya start to cry. It’s a small sound, but your ears catch the sound nonetheless.
You sit up, look at the love of your life with his face in his hands as he shakes with a sob. You pull him to lean against you chest, and you don’t even think he feels you doing so, but you try your best to comfort him anyway.
You’ve never seen Chishiya cry before, not since the last game, at least. The last game had you close to death, and if it weren’t for Chishiya saving you, you would have died. It was a game like no other. One where you were on top of crates, and you had to get to the other side without touching the ground.
Each time you jumped a crate, though, the ones it front of you would get further and further away. Like the metal boxes knew you were coming, and wanted to see just how fast all of you could run.
Well, you couldn’t run fast. You weren’t the most athletic person, and instead relied on your wits to get through the games. Your foot slipped on the edge of one of the crates, and you smashed your face against the metal box in the process. Your hand slipped next, the blood from your smashed nose that you hit against the metal create making your vision dizzy. If it wasn’t for Chishiya catching your hand at the last second, you would have died.
You never saw Chishiya shed a tear before that, but one drip of the salty liquid did leave his eyes that day. Almost seeing you die, and then the blood on your face making it hard for Chishiya to keep his control. The blood proving just how close you were to dying.
But this isn’t just one tear. There’s streams of tears coming down his cheeks, and you keep trying to whisper insurances that whatever he dreamed about was just that… just a dream.
“I-it wasn’t fake. It was real… You died… I failed you.” His last three words are said so small, you barely hear them. If it wasn’t for his close proximity, you would have missed them. You clutch onto him even closer to your chest, realizing what he probably dreamed about by his words.
“You didn’t fail me, and I’m not dead. You saved me, Chishiya. You saved me. Not Arisu or Usagi, but you… And for that, I’ll be forever grateful.”
Chishiya slowly picks his head up off your chest, wiping his eyes quickly as he does. He blinks at you, his vision finally clearing from his tears and being able to see you. You show him a small smile, and Chishiya’s lips part as he takes your appearance in.
Your not bleeding, your neck isn’t slit, and you aren’t looking at him with dead eyes like his dream depicted. You’re your same beautiful self, and now reality is crashing down on Chishiya. It was all a dream… and he was crying about it.
Chishiya was taught at a young age to stay strong in every situation, but seeing his own shitty father hurt you was to much for him. Especially when you said you thought he didn’t love you. The whole thing broke him. Broke him to the point he cried so hard that it woke him up from the dream.
He swallows against the lump in his throat, and with a shaking hand touches your cheek. Feeling your soft skin under his finger tips and confirming that you are, in fact, alive. Chishiya closes his eyes, suddenly feeling a boat of shame hit him in the chest from him waking you up like this.
“I’m sorry,” Chishiya says.
Your eyes widen ever so slightly, and your smile vanishes. You, being the best girlfriend in the world, crawl into his lap and make him wrap his arms around you. Your arms go around his neck, and then you clink your foreheads together. “There’s nothing to be sorry about, Chishiya. The past is the past, and now we’re out. I will also always be here for you. No matter what the situation.”
Chishiya blinks his eyes open up at you, seeing your pretty eyes so close to his. Although your words warm his heart, he still has to confirm something. “You know I love you… right?”
It took so long for Chishiya to admit he loved you, to the point it hurt you a few times while you were both in borderlands. It wasn’t until he almost saw you die that he admitted his feelings for you right then and there. He never wanted to hurt you or see you hurt again. That’s why you saying you didn’t think he loved you in his dream hurt so badly, making him start to cry in real life.
You raise a confused eyebrow at him, and take your forehead off of his. You don’t understand why he’s asking now, but you don’t need to. You see in Chishiya demeanor that he needs this. He needs you to answer this question because if you don’t it will shatter his world. He’s needing you to answer this question truthfully, but there was no way you were saying the opposite of the truth, anyway.
“Of course I do. I always have, baby.”
Chishiya’s lips twitch up in a smile, unable to help himself as he pulls you in for a singular deep kiss. Your confession clearing his head of all doubts, and making him feel ten times better then he was a few seconds ago.
The both of you then lay down, still holding each other like if you don’t the other person will disappear, and soon fall asleep.
Not before Chishiya whispers in between the two of you, you already asleep so you don’t hear, his own confession of how he feels about you.
“I always loved you too.”

iris - i don't want the world to see me
tw/cw: blood, cuts, emotionally pressuring thoughts, breakdown
a/n i definitely vented to some degree in this
___________________________________________________________
as you watched the blood trickle down your fingertips, you couldn’t help but wonder how you ended up like this. how you ended up with a torn apart room and bloody hands.
the game was a 6 of clubs. you felt like screaming. how much more can you take? how many people did you have to please in order to survive? you wanted so badly to snap the neck of one of the players for verbally berating you. “you’re so weak and limp! i heard that you couldn’t even protect your teammates last round! what makes you think i’d play with you?” . you winced every word the man spat. he didn’t stop until kuina gave him a piece of her mind
after the vile man had left, kuina turned to you, “are you ok?!” you nod. her face hardens, “why didn’t you do anything?”
you had been at a loss for words. the man had been a key player and you couldn’t do anything. you didn’t want to seem too hardheaded to anyone.
you had been able to complete the game and took the cars back to the beach where kuina rambled on about some random thing. you had bid her goodbye and quickly hurried to your room, brushing past a man in a hoodie.
as soon as you collapsed in your room, a string of curses escaped your throat. “why the fuck am i even crying?!” you laughed hysterically, “i’m just being stupid.”
“stop crying, it’s unsightly!”
“how shameless… to think you would act out like this.”
“how selfish.”
the memory was a slap to the cheek. you remembered that day, the neighbours had kicked a ball to your face, and you went to seek comforting words from your family but that was the only thing they said were those harsh words. you had quickly learned that getting mad at anyone was useless, that it wouldn’t benefit you. you just wanted someone to see you for you, not the world you would misunderstand your whole being. but when you had found someone, he was cold and dishonest… not the best person but you took what you got. and you probably took too much. because that’s what you do, you take, and you take without ever giving.
today was the tipping of the scale, you were at the height of emotional capacity, sick of bottling everything up. you grabbed the nearby glasses and threw them at the wall. you were being petty and having a meltdown, but nobody could see you, so you didn’t give a fuck.
you threw anything fragile at the walls or anything sturdy, lamps, cosmetics, anything. when you had run out of those you picked up the larger shards and threw those. they of course sliced your hands, crimson liquid flowing from the cuts.
so that was how you got here, curled up on the bed, bloody, numb and an emotional wreck that was surrounded by glass shards of various sizes.
“this is a mess,” a deep voice sounded from the doorway. you didn’t even have to turn to face the intruder to identify the owner of the voice.
“go away, chishiya. i’m not in the mood for your games,” you huffed.
chishiya ignored you and walked around the wreck, observing and chuckling at the mess, “i could hear your temper tantrum from down the hall. never knew you could be this emotional, it doesn’t suit you.”
you were beyond embarrassed. if he could hear you, that would mean some of the other members of the beach did as well
you opted to ignore his snide remarks and buried your face deeper into your legs. “hey. stop hiding,” you could feel his presence looming above you beside the bed.
you grabbed a glass shard, wincing as it left gashes on your palm, and pointed the tip of it to him, “what would you know about hiding? you’re just your bitchy self, day and night.”
chishiya sighed as he took the glass out of your hand, exploiting the fact you were too weak and numb to put up a fight. he clicked open a box which he seemed to have brought in. he took you by the hands and examined your body and quickly got to work, dabbing the disinfectant on the cuts which left you hissing and wincing, even shying away from his grasp until he held you in place.
after disinfecting your wounds, he gently wrapped strips of bandages over your legs and arms.
“done,” he puts away the kit and quickly cleared the glass from the floor and the bed into a pile, “you should get some sleep.”
as he is about to walk out, you grab onto the sleeve of his hoodie, your eyes growing more sore and heavier by the second, “please don’t go… shuntaro…”
he chuckles and sits next to you as you begin to lie and drift to sleep. he places a tender kiss on your forehead as he assumes a lying position by your side, your pinkies just touching.
as he watches you breathe steady breaths, he notices you vulnerable you are in your sleep. none of those facades or false emotions, just genuine fatigue. as he shifts his body to hug yours, he begins to drift off to sleep while thinking, you deserve so much better, before sleep claimed his senses.

and if you go, i wanna go with you / and if you die, i wanna die with you
carnage.
the only thing you can see is carnage. blood seeps into the asphalt around you. you’re not sure if it’s yours.
the fabric of your t-shirt is stuck to your skin. each shaky breath you take is shallow as you force the air into your lungs. your hands tremble as you lift them up towards the sky. deep red streaks are embedded into your flesh. your vision is blurry. you feel disoriented. everything hurts.
“chishiya,” you whisper. his name leaves your lips like a prayer. squinting at the sky, you almost confuse the sun for his warmth. the light is far more comforting than the hard ground below.
“y/n?” someone asks from beside you. her voice is shaky. she sounds familiar. kuina. “are you okay?”
“chishiya,” you repeat. “i need to find him.” squeezing your eyes shut, you push yourself to sit up. your head aches. you’re not sure how far you’re able to move. the world spins for a second before everything pauses for a second.
you take the opportunity to glance around. the alleyway has a fresh coating of red splattered across the walls. stray bullet holes leave tiny windows into the nearby buildings. your skin is coated in a heavy layer of filth and grime.
every muscle in your body tenses as you push yourself even farther. in a blur, you’re finally standing. you lean against the wall for support, shuffling your feet against the ground as you slowly begin to move.
there’s even more wreckage outside of the alleyway. debris litters the earth below. blood and gore decorate your surroundings. bile rises in your throat at the sight, but you continue pushing yourself to move regardless. i can afford to be selfish just this once, you reason. if i’m going to die, i might as well die with my lover.
retracing your steps is easier than you had expected. you stumble past aguni, paying no mind to the blank look in his eyes as he stares up at the sun. there are a million things he could be looking for. you don’t care about any of them. not anymore.
you grunt when you lose your balance once again, tripping over your own feet. you tumble into a nearby car; your body slams into the side of the vehicle. a part of you worries about setting off the alarm but it is quickly squandered by the realization that the owner is likely dead. at least there’s no one left to be annoyed by the repetitive noise.
“y/n?” he breaks the silence with a breathless whisper. he looks more shocked than you do. tears sting in your eyes.
you leave a trail of blood in your wake as you slide against the side of the cool metal. you maneuver yourself around to the other edge of the car before abruptly stopping. time freezes.
you blink once. then again. a third time. you rack your brain in an attempt to make sense of the sight of the man before you. chishiya.
“‘shiya.” you let yourself collapse onto the ground beside him. your knees buckle under the weight of relief - or maybe the strain from moving. you’re not sure anymore.
chishiya is quick to grab onto you, letting you lean your aching body against his. your blood seeps into the white fabric of his jacket. his fingers grip your arms before moving upwards to support your face.
chishiya’s hand slips away from your face to instead press against your side. you hiss at the pressure, coiling into yourself. “i’m sorry,” he whispers. you already know that he is. that he’d take away your pain if he could. that he wishes he could do more.
you look at him through blurry vision. tears roll down your cheeks in waves. his touch is gentle as he wipes them away.
“y/n,” he repeats. you can feel his gaze all over you - scanning your body for the worst injury. the one he should treat first. bad habits die hard, you suppose.
you bury your face into the crook of his neck. chishiya has let up on the pressure. instead, his arms rest gingerly around your waist, keeping you wrapped comfortably in his hold. you’re grateful.
“i love you.” your words slur together. you’re sure they’re nearly inaudible as you mumble them against his skin.
“i love you too,” chishiya whispers. each syllable is clear as it leaves his lips but you know him well enough to recognize the small waver that stings at the end of each word. you know him well enough to know his grip around your body is tight for a reason. you know him well enough to know that the tears staining your cheeks are not only your own.
you can hear fireworks in the distance. closing your eyes, you allow darkness to surround you. you imagine the beautiful hues of colour decorating the sky as the world finally fades away.

(Sweet) Niragi x OC One shot
Masterlist
Ayane remembered the time before the borderlands. She recalled a group of girls that would spill milk over her head at the lunch table, laughing as it dripped down her face and onto her lap. The teachers looked away for the most part, after all, their fathers' provided funding for the school. Getting them in trouble wouldn't get her anywhere except put a larger target on her back.
She remembers walking home one day, her hair clumping from not being able to wash it. A few girls waited for her in the bathrooms, shoving her away from the sink whenever she tried. "You know Ayane, there's one place where you could wash your hair..." They pointed to one of the toilets, laughing as Ayane held her tears back and ran out the door as fast as she could. She bumped into him then, a handsome boy she didn't recognize yet.
He was in his third year already, while she was in her first year of high school. He looked at her with pity, adjusting his glasses, and looked away quickly, carrying on. Nobody was going to help her.
She held her books tight to her chest as she kicked the rock in front of her, home was going to be just as bad. She took out her phone and looked at the time. "No new notifications. 4:32 PM." She sighed, another half hour, and her parents would be out of the house. She turned her head as she heard a loud grunt coming from under the bridge, her eyes coming across the boy from earlier, now with a bloodied nose.
The older students laughed, "Hey Niragi, stop moving! Otherwise, we'll make you eat it again! Urine rice!" He emphasized his last words as they all burst out into laughter again, enjoying his pain. She contemplated stepping in, but what could she really do against them? Her parents were no one, she hadn't any physical strength to fight them, but something in her pulled her there.
She clutched her books so tight that her knuckles turned white, slowly walking over to the boy they called Niragi. She placed a shaky hand on his arm, helping him up. She didn't say a word and kept her head down as she quickly led him away, taking his hand. The boys laughed from behind her, and she felt her face blush slightly as she looked at their hands, resting a top of one another.
From that day on, she always carried a second lunch with her, just in case. She was lucky she didn't rely on her parents for that, her part-time job seemed to finally pay off. She wasn't able to save as much, but that was alright. She did her best to watch out for the boys she saw, and whenever they went to Niragi's locker, she had an extra lunch ready for him. She wasn't sure why. She didn't pity him but felt resilience with him instead, just two victims being mercilessly bullied by those stronger.
Ayane opened her eyes to the sunset from her room, the Beach had already started their party. She recognized Niragi right away when she arrived, but he felt different than before, so she opted to keep her mouth shut. He looked different, with piercings, and had gotten rid of his glasses. His hair was longer, and she couldn't help but think to herself how cute she found it. She never got to tell him after all, that she had the biggest crush on him through his last two years of high school. She didn't see him after his graduation, though she left a note in his locker on the very last day, asking him to meet her. He never showed.
She looked different now too. She had lost a bit of weight, toning herself after high school. Her hair was different now, she dyed it and no longer kept it down, always tied up. She ate better, looked better, and had a scowl on her face to ward off anyone that approached her. That was how she liked it. She played with her hair in the mirror and noticed how badly her roots were showing. "Gonna have to redye it soon," she thought.
She threw on her shoes and headed out, wanting to get a run in before the party got worse. She began to make her laps around the compound, wishing her battery watch still worked in this place.
She rounded the corner and bumped into someone, knocking herself back on her butt. "Shit, sorry, I didn't see you th--" Her words stopped as a lump caught in her throat. Niragi. He had stumbled back a bit at your impact but was otherwise steady. "Watch where the fuck you're going." He spit out his words, gripping the butt of his rifle and gesturing for her to move. She took the hint and stood up quickly, standing out of his way and to the wall. "Fucking newbies..." He muttered, walking away. Even when threatening her, he still made her heart beat fast.
The games began that night and Ayane was put into a group of strangers. They went outside before introducing themselves, "I'm Kuina, nice to meet you!" She seemed perky, a relief considering how most people were here. "This is Chishiya, he doesn't talk much." She gestured over to the blonde man on the right of her, "I talk plenty." He muttered, shooting you a quick grin before getting into the car without waiting. "I'm Ayane." She smiled at Kuina, shaking her hand. They both got into the back, Kuina nodding to the driver to head off.
Niragi froze before getting into the car when he heard her say her name. It dawned on him, he knew her from high school, she was the one that always offered him her lunch. He never got why she always brought two with her, but he was just thankful to have a lunch without piss in it. His eyes followed their car as it rode off, snarling to himself as he saw Chishiya sitting next to her. He shrugged off his emotions, "Hope none of them come back tonight," he thought. He slammed the car door shut, placing his rifle in his lap. As much as he tried that night, he couldn't stop thinking about her.
The games went off without a hitch as Ayane and the whole team made it back that night. A Diamonds game, earning the four of them six more days on their visas. She was offered a high-five from Kuina, which she gladly took. Chishiya kept his hands in his pockets, grinning at the both of them as they shared a laugh. Kuina said goodnight on behalf of them both as Ayane parted ways with her and Chishiya, and she couldn't help but feel jealous of the two of them. Ayane noticed they were always together, even before she met them. She wished she had someone to confide in like that as she turned her head to the ground, feeling a slight pain surge through her heart.
She grabbed her chest lightly, steadying her breathing. "Being alone is best. Always." She repeated to herself over and over, swallowing her breath and closing her eyes. She could feel tears forming, and she recalled a time when she could be deemed weak. It didn't bring back good memories for her. She took a large breath and headed for the cafeteria, wanting a snack before she showered for the night.
Inside were a few girls, more like a clique, formed by Ayane's favorite chips. She approached them, "Excuse me," all the girls turned to look at her. "I just need to get some chips." They all silently eyed her up and down, bursting out laughing. One girl who Ayane didn't recognize swatted her hand in her direction, "Whatever. Go away." They turned their backs on her, giggling and muttering insults her way. "Like she needs chips..."
Ayane held her composure as she heard those god-awful words. Food was a sensitive topic for her and smiling, she grabbed the girl and spun her around much to her surprise. "Can I fucking help you, weirdo?" She yelled at her, but Ayane refused to flinch. She had been bullied enough before, and she wasn't about to get bullied here either.
Ayane smiled sweetly, before balling up her fist and smashing it right into the girl's jaw. "I said. I would like some of those chips." She held her smile as the girl dropped to the ground from the force, holding her face. The rest of the girls quickly moved apart, "Thank you so much!" Ayane said and she stood, holding the bag and opening it slowly, pulling out a chip and snapping it with her teeth, making sure to eye every single one of them as she chewed. "Be seeing you!" She said happily and she waltzed out, clutching her chips. Her face turned sour as she left, sighing and making her way to her room to finally get some peace.
The group of militants walked towards Ayane in the hallway as she moved to the side, making way for them to pass. Niragi's eye caught her figure as they walked, a small bag of chips in her hand. He noticed a small cut on her knuckle, fixing his gaze forward. His nose caught the slight scent of honey as he walked past her, making his heart skip a beat. A small anger rose up in him for reasons unbeknownst to him as they pushed their way into the cafeteria to see a girl sitting at a table surrounded by others. "Fucking bitch! Who does she think she is, lashing out like that?!"
Niragi recognized the girl holding her face. He had bed her once, or maybe a few times, but often paid her no mind. She wasn't important. Her eyes lit up when she saw him, practically running up to him to the other militants' dismay. "Niragi!! This girl, she just came up and hit me out of nowhere!" He raised an eyebrow, "... And?" She looked a bit taken aback but continued, "Well, I'm your girl, aren't I? Defend me! Go shot her or something!" He threw his head back in a roaring laugh, "My girl? I don't even know who the fuck you are!" He continued laughing, shoving her to the ground, joining the other militants at a table.
The group of girls left hurriedly after the first ran out of the cafeteria, almost in tears. Although he wasn't at all concerned about her, hell he didn't even know her name, his mind wandered to Ayane. He unwillingly looked back into his memories, Ayane was never one to lash out, much less to hit someone. He took a deep breath, silently standing up to the group's surprise. He walked out without a word, rifle in hand. His eyes fluttered over to where he saw her last, "Of course she's gone already," he thought.
He opted to head for his room, but laughter caught his attention from down the hall. He walked up out of curiosity from around the corner, rage building in him quickly as he saw the girls from earlier, as well as Ayane. Three girls were holding her back as another poured milk over her head, all laughing at her. He was about to swing his rifle around when a leg kicked up, plunging into a girl's stomach. He held back, even a bit shocked to see Ayane let out a kick like that. This wasn't the girl he knew from before. She was fiercer, stronger, more beautiful... He pulled himself out of his thoughts as he saw Ayane grab another girl's hair, smashing her face against the wall and pinning her arm behind her back.
Their ring leader saw Niragi, running up to him, "Thank goodness! Niragi, do something!" He cocked his head to the side as Ayane dropped the girl, taking a few steps back. He could see she was ready to fight but turned his attention back to the first. "Alright. Since you asked so nicely." He took his rifle and swung the butt into the random girl's face, the force throwing her into the floor. She screamed, blood searing through her lips, "W-why..."
He paid no mind as he calmly walked up to Ayane, gently placing his hand on her arm, "Come on. We're leaving." His tone shocked the women around him, Ayane even holding her breath. "O-okay, Niragi..." The rest of the girl's moved out of the way quietly as Niragi walked Ayane down the hall, neither of them looking back. They walked in silence to Niragi's room, him gesturing for her to sit down.
He sat across from her, his rifle down by his feet. For what felt like forever, they remained silent, taking each other in. She stared into his eyes and opened her mouth to speak, suddenly noticing her mouth was dry. "Niragi... You look different." She flashed a nervous smile, sinking her head down. She could hear him clear his throat, "Yeah... So do you." She suddenly felt herself get nervous and began playing with her hands, unable to look at him. "Not like, bad different, but good different." She began to backtrack, "But not like that good different! I mean, not that THAT good, but still good in a way, a-and," she tripped on her words, unable to form a proper sentence as her throat closed up.
She hadn't noticed Niragi had stood up until he outstretched his hand toward her. She took it without thinking, immediately feeling her face flush. Even in this hellish world, she never held a guy's hand before. He tugged on her arm, silently asking her to stand. She obliged without another thought and he smiled. Not the Niragi smile everyone saw when he felt a little crazy, but a smile that reminded her of the Niragi she knew once. A kind smile.
"Ayane, I'm glad you're here." He hung on his words and she could feel her face blush, "Y-you are?"
He looked into her eyes, "Ayane," he let out a breath he had been holding in, she tilted her head to the side curiously, seemingly devolving back into her high school self. "Yes?" Her heart started beating faster as she noticed his face was mere inches from her, slowly leaning in. She could feel his breath resting on her lips as she closed her eyes, feeling the softness of his lips placed themselves on hers. She could feel her heart beat rapidly as his tongue forced its way into her mouth, his arm tightening around her waist.
She wrapped her arm around his neck, feeling like she was in a dream. Her high school self would've been screaming right now. He broke his lips off of hers for a moment, cupping her face to look at him. "Ayane... Let me protect you, this time." She silently nodded, squeezing the hand on her waist.
If anyone's hands were to hold her life in them, she was glad it was Niragi's.

Gay AF questions
🍋 Have they ever dealt with homophobia? If so, how?
|| ooc ; yes, Hinata has definitely dealt with Homophobia a lot growing up. Although his parents were .. fine with Hinata being trans, their words were ‘ if you’re was going to pretend to be a guy, at least act like one ‘. They expected him to half a girlfriend and had many more expectations of him. His father even said once in passing that he should take him to a club and learn how to be a real man and find a girlfriend.
The elders of the socialite world and classmates weren’t all that nice to him either. But he was used to it enough that honestly he tried not to let it get to him as much

Can you write a lovely fluff story between Arisu and female reader who loves get kissed, to get cuddled, to get touched from him (and maybe more) at night?🥰 Maybe something romantic with some kinda sexual parts
♠️ Late night closeness ♠️
A/N: Yo, I'm back and haven't forgot your request yet! As I said in one of my posts, I felt a little sick this one day so I used the next days to recover a little. Plus, I was at work thursday and friday until 6pm, so I was tired and exhausted to be honest. 😬
Nevertheless, here comes your desired story and I hope that you will like it even more. Now that it's finally out. 🫶🏻

Late at night. To be more precise, it's the perfect time to go to sleep. Just like I always do. Apart from the fact that the surroundings are quiet and empty from dawn to dusk anyway, there is complete darkness all around us. One thing I can't stand since I've been in Borderland. The reason? The red laser beams that shine down from the sky to kill other people whose visas have run out. I know a few idiots who stay up late and look for a higher spot to watch the spectacle. Just to make sure how many will leave this world behind forever - and for sure - today.
Fortunately for me, I also know people who have similar thoughts to mine. People who don't want to see this happen. People who have enough common sense, empathy and decency to look the other way. Call it strength or call it gutlessness.
I want to sleep. Every day, even before the selection takes place. However, my thoughts, which are spinning endlessly in circles, are preventing me from doing so today. My eyes are closed. My back is turned to the window so that I am not even tempted to open my eyes. But as destiny wants it, this shall not be to my disadvantage.
It's a typical time for me to sleep. You lose track of time and space in here, but if I had to guess, it would probably be 10 pm by now. Maybe half past ten at night. So I'm not surprised that the mattress behind me lowers a little, that the blanket is lifted slightly and then gets straightened again. So that I too can enjoy a comfortable and peaceful night's sleep. Just as I deserve- at least according to Arisu.
Arisu and I ... we met here during a game and haven't gone our separate ways ever since. At least not directly. We rarely go to games together for fear that we'll end up in one where we have to kill each other. I know Arisu's story. I know what he's been through. And I don't want him to have to go through it again.
We always promise each other that we'll come back. That we'll meet again at the agreed meeting point and go back to sleep side by side in the evening. The only difference today is that I'm still awake and can therefore feel the dark-haired man snuggling up to me even better.
How he puts his arm around me and presses me closer to him so that my back is pressed tightly against his upper body. As if he's afraid someone might just take me away from him for the night. Or as if he was worried that I would just leave him alone in the middle of the night.
He does that often. Always, actually. Every night when I'm drifting off to sleep. And I like it. Arisu is a shy boy who has a lot of decency as well as respect. He would never do anything against my will or touch someone 'indecently' if he didn't know whether he was allowed to. And even if he was allowed to, he would find it difficult because he wouldn't know how to handle it.
I think he knows that I like this kind of closeness. I'm not sure, but if he pulls me into his arms while I'm sleeping, I think I'll have some reactions that approve of his actions. Be it a smile that creeps onto my lips. It's possible I'll turn towards him to nuzzle my face into the skin of his neck so I can be even closer to him. And then I remember that I once started to giggle a little when Arisu pressed kisses to my cheek, neck and shoulder. I remember, because ... he is doing it again.
"I love it when you try to show me your affection secretly, quietly and silently." As soon as he speaks, I notice how his head shoots up a little and his grip on me loosens. "Surprise, love." I take the chance to turn onto my back in the loose grasp of his arms so that I can see Arisu's face much better- it may be dark, but I don't miss the somewhat indignant look on his silhouette, which makes me laugh a little.
"I thought you were asleep!" he says confusedly, his eyes almost as big as the moon in the sky itself. "How much did you notice...?"
"Everything." Silence. "But I don't think that was enough." I smile up to him, stretching my face a little towards his so that I can give him a little peck on the lips, before staring at him for a second.
"Awkward."
"Awkward?", I asked, bursting into laughter. "What the fuck are calling awkward, Ryohei?! No, that's not!"
"I-It's just ... I thought you sleep, Y/N!" Now he starts giggling himself, so that both of us are just a laughing mess. "You can't pretend just to set a trap for me, that's not how it works!"
"Oh? But it worked very well, don't you think?" It takes a moment for us both to settle down again- until we're both quiet and just smiling to ourselves.
Shortly afterwards, Arisu tightens his grip again and presses me against him once more. He has turned sideways towards me and finally leans his head relaxed against mine. I do the same and start to stroke his arm up and down with one of my hands, while we just lie here together in silence, staring into emptiness. In the soft bed of the tower block that we have made our home for the night.
"I ... actually tried to fall asleep but failed this time." Arisu looks down on me while I look up to him. "It wasn't my plan to trap you, darling. But I have to say, I really do love it, when you cuddle me that much while I'm sleeping, Arisu. And you know, I would be happy when you keep doing this- it makes me feel protected and ... I feel safe in this creepy world when having you by my side." I assume that these words will overwhelm Arisu for a moment, as it's quite a lot at once and … well, very unexpected. "So … I'd be happy if you did that more often. Not just when I'm asleep, but also when I'm awake. I really enjoy your attention and your closeness, so … I think it would be nice if we could build on this ... intimacy." I know it might not be a good attitude.
This is not the world in which you would want to fall in love. We are not in the time warp where you are looking forward to the love of your life, where you want to fall for a person completely and carefree. Here in Borderland, it's a matter of life and death. That's why it might be wrong to tie yourself to one person- morally speaking. But if your heart is yearning and your head is in harmony with it, then it no longer feels as wrong as it really is.
"You know, this ... might getting dangerous, love?", he whispers, making me giving him back a quite "Of course" which makes him sigh a bit. "This … is not something one want to assume, but … you know, it can happen every day that one of us doesn't come back to the other." You can tell from his voice that he feels fear and pain at the thought, which makes me swallow hard- but again I only get out a whispered "I know ...", which should make him realize how seriously I meant what I said to him. "And yet you want me to consciously give you this intimacy?"
"Yes," I said, serious. "Because I love you, Ryohei." This is where I end my caresses on his arm.
Instead, I just look up at him, able to catch his eyes thanks to the light given off by the moon. I notice how his arms wrap around me even tighter in response and I catch myself clawing into the skin of his arm a little, but lightly enough to make sure there's no residue and that I don't accidentally hurt him. He nuzzles his face into my cheek and we close our eyes to enjoy the togetherness for a moment. To forget everything else for just a few seconds.
"I don't think that's something we can decide immediately, Arisu ..."
"There's no need to decide something, I guess." I open my eyes again, looking at him, giving a little "Huh?" right back, before I can catch a smile on his lips. "I ... I cannot deny that I ... like you and that I would very much like to continue to be close to you." I giggle.
"Come here." Without giving it a second thought, I swing myself on top of him and wrap my arms loosely around his neck.
His hands rest on my back from that point on and I make it quick: I pull him into a loving, passionate kiss. I know he needs a moment to realize what's going on, so … I give him the time. And only when he moves his lips against mine do I match his movements and deepen the kiss a little more, burying one of my hands in his mane so that I can push him a little closer to me.
A little later I wander with my lips to his neck, which he frees up for me a little bit by tilting his head to the side. Small kisses are spread over his thin skin before I reach his ear and whisper a soft "Touch me, Arisu ..." into it, making him blush, pretty sure.
"You want me to-"
"I see what you're up to, my love." I'm smiling. "Don't think about it … and just do it." Again I start to work his neck, which makes him hum happily before I add anything else. "When I was sleeping, you weren't afraid to go under my shirt, too." Now I'm laughing.
Because of his shocked "What?!". Because of his big eyes. Because he's a little freaked out all of a sudden.
"How much did you really notice when I thought you were sleeping all this time?!"
"I've been sleeping," I say, "but sometimes I've woken up and just let it pass over me with pleasure~."
