It's so disappointing to me that there's not much background gossip that we get to witness. Where are the awkward family conversation topics. I want Sophie to be eating dinner and pouting about being unable to date anyone. I want Edaline, trying to be helpful, to say something like "I never thought I would be able to date anyone because I was in love with your father while he was dating Councillor Oralie." I want the silence to fall. I want Sophie to make the world's most ghastly face and simply leave the table. I want her to wreak havoc and stomp around until she mentions it to one of her friends, who respond with "You didn't know that??"

I'm so particular about Destiel fanfics because of how I see Dean. Especially the fix it fics.

As much as we all want them to fall into each other's arms.

I don't think Dean knows that he loves Cas. I don't think Dean quite knows what love is. The desperation that he feels when Cas is gone, well he's desperate when Sam is gone so it must be the same thing.

He knows Cas is his best friend, so when he loses Charlie, it can't be all that different, right?

He would never leave Sam behind, just like he would never leave Cas behind. Because they're family.

Dean has never known what love was. At the age of 4, all love was sucked out of his life. The only people he saw were his father (abusive and negligent) and his baby brother, whom he loved from the pov of a parent, not a sibling. And as he got older, his dad encouraged him to chase girls "for the fun." Never even hinting that Dean, in all of his wishes, could ever have a normal life. LEARN to love. Have things that he wants. He was to be a soldier, the grunt, and nothing more.

So Dean knows lust. And he knows familial love. But he never knew anything about how he loved Cas. Because when he thought of Cas, it was hardly ever just "I want to get in his pants." Dean honestly would have been able to get over that. No, with Cas, it was more. With Cas, he wanted that apple pie life. He wanted more of the days where they woke up and shared space, where Cas sat with him as he silently drank his coffee. Where Cas texted him throughout the day with an embarrassing amount of emojis and made him laugh with his lack of pop culture knowledge. The dynamic was love, but to him, friendship was so foreign he didn't know the difference.

So of COURSE Dean didn't respond when Cas confessed. His whole perspective on everything was altered the second Cas started speaking. When he said "I Love You." And Dean didn't have time to realize that THAT'S what he'd been feeling before Cas was ripped away from him forever. Years of it. Gone in an instant.

So he sat on the floor and he sobbed. And he ignored Sam. Because in all of this, he realized that for YEARS he'd had his shot at happiness in front of him, but couldn't see it, because he didn't know the words. He didn't know the difference. And he knows that this time, he'll never get that chance again.

I believe Mickey should be separated from the sanitized Mascot we see now and brought back to his roots to bring actual joy once more to everyone. Like Walt, Ub, and the rest would've wanted,

If one takes a look at the characterization of Mickey, especially in the Walt Era. You would know how out of character it would actually be for him to support the company nowadays. He'd be kicking and fighting since the 90s

That Mouse would be on a headhunt, and the company most likely wouldn't be out of control like it is. Chapek and Eisner would've been out quicker and Iger on an extremely short leash, if he hadn't already been fired,

This mouse would also be out striking with the workers, marching with pro Palestinian people, supporting the LGBTQA+ and so much more.

You know why? Because he believes in Justice, he believes that everyone should get to wish upon a star and dream big.

I believe that he would even do a little known tradition that his creator did. He would go out and just look for people sketching and drawing at the Parks watch em for a bit and if he likes what he sees as in potential for massive growth, he would offer them a job at the company. This is how Walt found Mary Blair and several other animators that became Legends.

Walt's Dream for Disney was that it was for everybody whoever dreams, laughs there's a reason it's called the happiest place on earth a place you can escape reality for a bit and know the joy of family and being together and if you think Mickey would forget that, I'm sorry you don't know who he is as a character.

And you don't know why he was made initially, and the opportunity that there is for him to be this way once again. A symbol of Hope in the face of all odds, a friend to anyone who needs it.

I had a dream that there was this HUGE event happening at a convention and it was official art of Gethen and Fintan. Up on pedestals. And somehow both of them looked like Sophie.

Then I turned around and the room was empty except for Oralie working diligently at a craft table with a pink table cloth while Fitz hovered behind her, waiting for instructions.

I think she was sewing a dress?

Anyways she whispered something to Fitz and he brought me a paper I couldn't really read. That being said I'm like 75% certain it said something like "Councillor Kenric NOT DEAD?!?! Thought to have been seen leaving Slurps and Burps last Saturday in a dark brown cloak."

Then he shoved me into some strange rainbow sparkle neon tunnel that made me forget what time and space were for a little while until I ended up at a human water park, where Sophie, Keefe, and a tall ancient blond elf that I recognized as Mr. Forkle (from art?!?) were waiting.

Then we started the mission, blew something up, and RAN.

*collapses to the ground* my fuckin swamp milkweeds got Heat Waved and barely even flowered, let alone got pollinated.... I'll have to see if my root stock ones or Swampy even come back next year, but this year definitely isn't the Year of the Ani Swamp Milkweed Success

Either that or I just can't fucking find them #what i thought was Albert ended up being my bee balm plant so minus 2 points in my milkweed identification skill #my bestie recently got me 3 swamp milkweeds and one of them had a butterfly weed growing in its pot too #i forgot to water them so i thought they died but they came back so i put them in a pot recently near Swampy #i havent officially named them yet but I have ideas #I might name two of the swamp milkweeds Morgan and Charlotte #and maybe I'll name the little butterfly weed Miles #but I still need a name for the third swamp milkweed....... #or actually. scratch that #third swamp milkweed is Miles and the butterfly weed is gonna be Maddi #anyways long story short #Swampy Ross Lizanne Alana and Taylor MIGHT be dead #I haven't been able to even FIND Albert Brett or Isaac since like July #Morgan Charlotte Miles and Maddi are my newest additions and are currently confirmed FINE #BUT its almost October so if they can't get super situated before the frosts start later this year they may be doomed #granted im in North Florida so frosts won't happen until late December/early January but STILL #and NONE of them flowered #well clarification #Swampy flowered but no other swamp milkweeds were flowering at the same time as her #I think Taylor ALMOST flowered but then heat wave happened #either Morgan Charlotte or Miles WAS flowering when I first got them but then Heatwave Happened #so uh. unless I get a post-heatwave economic miracle. no swamp milkweed seeds for me.
