Ok ok this will probably get extremely info dumpy and spoilery so sorry about that 😅 i tried to make this as coherent as possible but i think i failed so bad at that XP btw this would have been out earlier its just i got distracted with re reading the comic for the 1003949499 time

but a matter of life and death was a webcomic that started around 2015/2016 and ended sometime in 2021 now i would try and explain the plot BUT IT WAS CANCELED BEFORE THE PLOT REALLY STARTED !?!?!?!

But basically its about how life and death navigates their relationship being complete opposites

life is often seen as loud brash and childish but when push comes to shove he can be a good level headed leader, (this is best shown when it flash backs to right before he locked up war ) he gets attached to every thing he creates witch is one of the main reasons him and death didn't get a long for most of the comic. Hes extremely emotional and says a lot very self deprecating things (my favorite example of this is the "i am just the canvas to make all the paint look good " line and that little bit of the character vote )

Then there's death .death and life are both similar in the way they are both kind of drowning in their self hatred. But death is a lot more "every one hates me and their constantly judging me" kind of self loathing. physically death is the 2nd oldest. He was originally made because the 2 gods (witch i forgot the names of but all you really need to know about them is that they are basically this worlds god and satan) noticed that life was lonely and they wanted to give him a friend but they couldn't decide on what his job would be so they kind of ....didn't finish him ?? Idk how to explain it but fast forward years eons even and life starts making us humans and now they finally have a use for this shell of a thing ...death .death wasn't really like by the others for most of his existence as he was extremely off putting. It was actually life who got the others to like him and they became really close but something happened that make life dislike death .

Ok some lore context before i get into what i want to talk about. Gods dont talk about their jobs and names dont really mean anything. Llife for the longest time life never knew that death.... was well death and once he found out he (death) convinced him to bring back the dead which is extremely against the rules something happen during that that caused life to lose his memorys

7 years ago today I created this account for all the fans of AMOLAD who were waiting attentively for early updates. It's funny to think that today I don't even know what this story turned out to be, even so, I remember it warmly and I thank it for the good times it gave me during my adolescence.

MSA x WnG: A Matter of Loaf and Death AU Chapter 15: Gromit and Arturo are sad/Fluffles and Judy are joining us

Gromit and Fluffles, Arturo and Judy held hands, but they let go as Fluffles and Judy had to leave. They left the house and Gromit and Arturo felt depressed at them leaving.

Wallace: Oh, never mind, lad. We've both been through the mill this week, haven't we? But at least yours wasn't the bread-baking baker-murdering serial killer... ...like mine. Tell you what, lad. Let's go and deliver some bread, eh? That'll cheer us up.

Lionel: Oh, dear, bud. I can’t believe, they turned into Serial Killers like mine. Need more bakes for the bakery? Cheer us.

Just as they were about to leave in their car, the garage door opened and they stopped when they saw Fluffles and Judy in their way. Gromit and Arturo were surprised to see them again, so he opened the door for them to enter and go in.

Wallace: Hey, hey. Always room for a small one.

Lionel: Hey, come on.

She got in and inserts a record into the player, which starts playing ‘Puppy Love.’ And so they drove off to start their delivery.

Wallace: Put paws on the wheel, lad. Concentrate.

Lionel: Oh my gosh! Watch out for the wheel!

Rambling about AMOLAD because i did not spend almost half a hour typing this out just for person to see it

life and deaths relationship is. ...i dont want to say toxic but there relationship is extremely strained for a lack of better words

Deaths was alone for most of his existence the others were scared of him life was his 1st friend

now both life and death have really bad self worth issues but in 2 very distinct ways

death is "everyone hates me why should i try and make meaningful connections?" While life on the other hand is more "everyone is so much better then me why even waist your time with me " witch plays a BIG BIG role in how their story turns out

(Ok a few things about the comic you should know before i go on

1 the gods names are just that names

2 the gods dont talk about their jobs unless prompted )

Life is very respectful when it came to deaths job like yeah he would ask "death whats your job " but when death inevitablely dodged the question he wouldn't and try to pry further

now like i said the last time i talked about them life is super super SUPER attached to his creations when life found out about deaths job he (obviously) got upset and in a last ditch attempt to not lose the only person that cares about him death tells(or asks we dont know )

life to Resurrect The Dead because in his words "i wanted to see the worst so you be ok with my job" or something to that extent cant remember exactly

witch not only goes against the rules but lifes own morals

Something happenes that causes life to forget a huge chunk of the time he spent with death after that life is ...mean (again for a lack of better words) to death but one day he decides to try and befriend death and as he is doing this he gets theses flashes of very intimate memorys and he does not know were these are coming from so he basically asks death hayyy were we in love at some poin and death said yeahhh then thats when its revealed about the resurrect thing and they decided to take a break from each other

MSA x WnG: A Matter of Loaf and Death AU Chapter 13: Fluffles and Judy fights with Forklift drivers/Wallace and Lionel have bombs

Fortunately, it was piloted by Fluffles and Judy.

Wallace: Er, lass?

Lionel: Uh, lady?

Piella got out some rolling pins and prepared for battle.

Piella: Come to mummy, Fluffy Ruffy!

Using the gloved forklift, Fluffles and Judy grabbed the two pins and smacked the serial killers.

Vera: Atta girl, Fluffles!

Bart: Go for the knockout!

Fluffles accidentally smacked Wallace. Fortunately, he was caught on the windmill.

Wallace: Don’t worry about me, lad. I’m fully in control. (Screams) He saw the bomb on the other side. As Gromit and Arturo climbed out of the bowl, Wallace fell off his trousers and into bed.

Wallace: Yes!

Back in the fight, Fluffles used one of the forklift’s arms to grab Piella, which caused her to lose one of the rolling pins. It hit the windmill and the bomb fell into Wallace’s room.

Wallace: No!

Piella accidentally hit the lever with her rolling pin, making Wallace slide down. Fluffles and Judy started pushing down her abusive owner and friend. Suddenly, Wallace showed up in new trousers.

Wallace: Anyone seen the bomb?

Muffet: Wallace, why are you smoking?

Sarah: ? Wait... you see the bomb?

Wallace: What? What?

There was a bomb in his trousers.
