A dragger wouldn’t have been this hurtful, Riri thought as she bit her lip. She chose to ignore the young woman still holding onto Shuri as she nodded along with the queen, “You understand right?”

“Yeah, yeah,” Riri said twisting her fingers, “Totally. You gotta take care of your queen stuff.”

Shuri smiled happy that Riri understood her issue, “Thank for being understanding. Maybe tomorrow?”

Riri frowned even more at Aneka’s poor attempt into comedy, “Good to know that my life is comedic show for you watch.” And with that the young engineer went back to the lab.There was always something for her to do there, even if her crush would rather be with someone else. Riri rolled over on her chair her fingers worked on improving the gears for the monorail. It was supposed to be a two person job, Riri thought sourly as she asked for GRIOT to play her music as she worked.

“Hey,” Shuri greeted her like nothing was wrong with their relationship. Riri gave a cold greeting, “Hey, how was you’re date?”

“I didn’t have a date,” Shuri said Riri rolled her eyes, “Sure you didn’t. And I’m the queen of Spain.”

“What’s wrong with you,” Shuri frowned not like how cold Riri was being to her. Riri was twisted the bolt into place “It’s like you’re jealous of her or something .”

The wretched slipped out of Riri’s hands at the sentence. There was quiet silence in the lab, Shuri perked up to this when Riri didn’t make a silly remark.

“You are jealous,” Shuri confrimed out right taking all the wind out of Riri’s sail. Riri shocked at Shuri’s accurate read on her, “Am not!”

“You are,” Shuri stated taking Riri’s hand, “ I know you’re lying. You’re such a terrible liar”

Riri snatched her hand back rolling her eyes, “Whatever.”

“Can you please tell me what’s the matter?” Shuri asked as she looked at her crush. Riri was pacing trying to figure out how to express herself.

“The council’s daughter,” Riri started, “Does she mean something to you?”

Shuri furrowed her brows, “What do you mean?”

“Answering a question with a question?” Riri gave a humorless laugh. Shuri walked closer to her, “She doesn’t mean any harm by it.”

Shuri quickly realized that’s not words she was supposed to say as she got the meanest glare from Riri, “And what am I supposed to think when I see you two like that ?” Riri conuited. She could feel her eyes slowly tearing up, “She’s hanging onto you like you’re a cliff or something.”

Shuri getting fustersated by Riri’s mind games, “I just told you. She didn’t mean any harm by it. Why are so stressed about something that wont happen?”

“Because i thought my chances with you was gone,” Riri’s words tumbled out of her before she quiet way of what she ment. Shuri shocked at the woman in front of her, “What do you mean by it?”

“What do you mean it?” Riri asked now taking interested on the tools that skewed around the desk. Shuri grabbed Riri ‘s waist closing the between them, “Now who’s answering a question with a question?”

“I like yo- no that sounds childish,” Riri grumbled out as she laid her head on Shuri’s sternum. Riri took her breath, What I mean to say I love you, Shuri. A-and I thought my chances to express my feelings were gone before I knew it.”

Shuri placed her chin on top Riri’s head, “ I guess it’s only favor to confess my feeling for you too, huh?”

Riri gave a watery response, “It’s only fair.”

Shuri pulled them apart to see her beautiful Riri, “I thought you only saw our relationship as friendship. I was willing to be happy with that just as along you were near me. Now know my feelings are mutual, just know I am never letting you go.”

Riri felt the warmth a pair of lips on hers.

“You should know you being jealous is kinda hot,” Shuri in between kisses.

But today I learned that my parents are homophobic, at least my mom? I don’t know about my dad but if my mom like that probably he is like that too. We were watching a movie or show, I really don’t remember, and there was a lesbian couple. My mom said something like “Ew” or “Yuck”, and I never thought that she said this to the lesbian couple and I asked “What is it?”, well you know the rest of the conversation. She said “It’s disgusting” she was looking at the lesbian couple, and in my entire life I never hated my mom like today.. I felt so bad and sad, then I argued with my mom, I was defending gays, of course.

Yeah… I was proud of my family because I thought they were good people 🫤

Second off, I'm sorry your parents are less than supportive or at least your mom is. It's unfortunate that some people aren't accepting of others when all they want to do is love freely. There is absolutely nothing wrong or unnatural about it just because someone else doesn't like it.

Also, I just came out as Bi last June. I knew for a long time that I was but never told anyone. I honestly have yet to tell my parents because who I choose to love affects only me and my children. And I feel like of I ever did come go point where I wanted to date and I wanted to introduce my parents to that person, then I would explain it.

I just want you to know that no matter of you decide to share with your parents or not, that you are valid in your choices and decisions. It is your life that is being affected and your choices/opinions that matter the most. You are the only person that you need to make proud!

I've noticed a excuse as to why shows use allegories instead of talking about a subject directly or have last minute LGBT pairings instead of having the pair be a canon couple from the get go they often say "it's executive meddling."or "needing to get past the censors". Do you now where these ideas came from?

It's an easy boogeyman. While executive meddling has always existed, this idea that creators need to play 4D chess to sneak things past the censors has always been completely and utterly ridiculous.

There's this cliche where we'll look at old cartoons making dirty jokes ("No no, fingerprints!") and go "How did that every get past the censors?"

The answer is "The censors let it through."

Executives aren't stupid, and pretentious creators aren't as smart as they like to think they are. And this excuse only ever comes out in the face of criticism. It never comes out in the face of praise. You rarely ever see creators go "I'm glad you liked that, but here's what we actually wanted to do."

To take She-Ra as an example: ND Stevenson often made the remark that they had to wait until the very last episode to make the case to Dreamworks that Adora and Catra getting together was the only logical conclusion for the characters.

But that brushes up against several problems.

Dreamworks is notoriously ambivalent to gay characters, and previously came out to say that Voltron's dead gays wasn't their fault and they told the creators specifically not to do it.

You're operating as if bigoted companies care more about continuity than bigotry. They don't. This is the same flawed defense of "SU's wedding episode needed to have the diamonds so it couldn't be censored in other countries." Bigoted governments don't care about your continuity. Most VIEWERS don't care about it.

The longer the show went on, the less and less a romantic relationship was the "logical conclusion" for Adora and Catra.

At the end of the day you're expected to believe that ND Stevenson had to compromise and settle for doing... her favourite trope. He LOVES Foe Romantic Subtext. It's their favourite thing. Do you think without restrictions she would have made something less abusive and toxic? No he wouldn't. It was closer to their original vision than it wasn't.

And even then, Executive Meddling isn't a defence. It's casting blame. Being bad because of executive meddling is still BEING BAD.

People aren't arguing this in good faith, which is why don't think about that. They don't want you to go "Oh the executives meddled therefore we can't criticize." They just want you to shut up and stop harshing their squee by existing in their vicinity with a critical mind.

You could replace "It was executive meddling" with "Ugh! Shut up! Let people enjoy things! Stop being an engaged viewer around us! CRINGE!" Don't think. Just consume product. And then get excited for next product.

And furthermore, I actually RARELY see a producer argue this. Dana Terrace has so far rejected the notion that Owl House was cancelled because of Lumity. She has rejected it many times and positioned other reasons it was cancelled. That hasn't stopped people from running with the idea that the baby gays were too hot for Disney (I hate myself for writing that).

Even when a creator refuses to give that notion, they run with it anyway. And so when a creator in the midst of criticism blames executive meddling, a lot of people will just take it at face value, even in the face of previous instances where it turned out the creator was lying.

The problem with Executive Meddling is that it's a lot of "he said, she said" and people are inclined to take it as face value because they deify certain creators and put them on such high pedestals that they need anything to distract from them not being perfect. But at the end of the day it changes nothing. The problems are still there regardless of who you cast blame on, and they still made the show.

A lot of EP's will quit over creative differences. And the big sign to be that the meddling isn't as bad as people claim it is... is because these ones aren't quitting. If they didn't let you make the show you wanted to make, why didn't you go somewhere else?

The truth is... this is the show they wanted to make. If you gave them no restrictions, very little would change.

ND Stevenson might have done Catradora faster if she was allowed to, but he would have still done Catradora, which is a horrible instance of romanticized abuse. We can blame Executive Meddling for SU, but SU was always unique in just HOW pretentiously metaphorical it was. SU without restrictions would have still had these problems.

These were the shows they wanted to make. Their creative vision was flawed.

The next time someone says "it was executive meddling" ask that person "What would you have done without any restrictions?"

A Harry Potter rewrite but

Someone acknowledges how the school system is built to actively promote the constant isolation of young impressionable children with toxic families and nurture them in an environment that only acts as an echo chamber telling them about how much better blood purity is. Yes, I'm talking about how any child sorted into Slytherin is highly likely to become a Death Eater simply because of the way they are forced into a toxic echo chamber.

Severus Snape isn't a nice guy who takes out his anger at a dead man on his young son and isn't defined solely by his "love" (See: obsession) for said boy's dead mom. He also learns to be happy for her but still actually loves her instead of idk...being a dick to little children.

Sirius and Remus are an actual couple (because I fucking re read PoA and OoTP simply because I saw people saying there was zero subtext and I distinctly remember there being subtext as a gay closeted kid and guess what...it's still there. It's still gay as shit and it's still subtext (and accidental cause Rowling can't write compelling romance for shit).

Which brings me to my other Remus ship. If I were to rewrite this obviously Wolfstar would have become canon and they would have survived and taken Harry in. Tonks, that badass mofo of an icon would have wooed some girl off her feet and been an absolute legend as she did it and all that jazz. BUT since I'm trying to stick close(ish) to canon I guess we're still murking Sirius (poor boi deserved way better). So, Remus still had a romantic relationship with Sirius, but after Sirius' death he falls for Tonks and it's a slow process and Tonks makes it clear that a) he needs to get over himself and his self hatred because it is not his fault and b) he deserves to be happy for himself. Remus falls for Tonks because they share some experiences, they actively interact, Remus is his old self deprecating self and Tonks, instead of becoming depressed puts her foot down and goes "I will always be there for you but YOU need to fight for ME". And Remus is like "oh ShIt! I do love her and I can grow to deserve her" and grow into loving himself for her and then they get together (and not die). And then you have an iconic bi dude marrying a genderqueer bi hottie.

Tonks' patronus doesn't change. Because no, just fucking no. That cool self sufficient baddie will never change her personality or soul to mould herself to a dude. Nope. Fuck you.

James and Lily's romance is also clarified on more and Lily more explicitly falls for him because he proves to her that he is a genuinely good person through an act that is NOT meant to impress her.

The prank has more context because wtf was happening there.

SOMEONE comments on Harry's very obvious bisexuality.

Peter's betrayal is a deeper blow because here he is shown to have genuinely adored the marauders instead of being the "that guy" of the group. Also his betrayal is for much deeper reasons than "aha I just chose to stick with the winning side".

Dumbledore actually gets called out on being a manipulative bastard more.

Harry doesn't name his son after his mom's obsessive nice guy pal who constantly hit and mocked him and a guy who reared him like a pig for slaughter and instead names him after one of the many MANY wonderful people who died in the war and his first name is Sirius because we just HAD to kill the ridiculously queer coded godfather (who deserved better).

Also Remus and Tonks were at the hospital during Sirius 2.0's birth and tried a mini spell to ensure he has some level of lgbt-ness to him. And they both cried when Harry said the baby was named Sirius because Sirius always wanted to be one of the Potters.

NOTP: i don't believe i have one?? i guess klaus/genevieve, because even though i like her and i liked when they were fucking she outstayed her welcome as klaus's love interest or fuck buddy or w/e. she's def far more interesting on her own as a villainous anti hero or whatever. besides, she definitely should have been kissing rebekah, they totally give off jilted exes vibes. also maybe davina/tim, because he wasn't a very interesting character (than again TO never really gave him a chance to be since he had like. all of one line). favorite storyline: definitely hayley and finding her wolf pack in the bayou, as well as 1.15 when klaus was chasing rebekah around a cemetery in the pretense of killing her. it's just so reflective of the complex traumatic experiences and toxicity surrounding this fam, and the cycle of violence and love the mikaelsons are trapped in. tbh it's the most sympathetic i felt for klaus and the moment where his character (and the actor) really shined, as well as rebekah and elijah's characters. least favorite storyline: i'd say klaus compelling cami, because while he never had any creepy intentions it's not the best start to a relationship. also whatever nonsense is going on with the Red Door or w/e (although i got a steamy haylijah kiss out of that one, even if it was just a fever dream lol). what I wish had happened but didn’t: klaus and davina friendship?????? unlikely but these two are just hilarious together and more similar than they'd like to admit tbh. i know he murdered tim or whatever but ppl that are "best friends" on tvd (see: bamon) have forgiven each other for worse. also klaus just. apologizing more often, instead of letting his pride get in the way, and letting himself admit to being emotional and talking about his feelings more often. i mean it's hilarious when he goes on murderous rampages with kol when he's sad, but i digress. what happened that I wish hadn’t: klaus physically assaulting hayley, that was an out of character move for him tbh and kind of veering into creepy d*mon territory. there were several other ways TO's narrative could have reached the point of him realizing he wanted to keep his child that didn't have to be that. also gia and aiden dying, it's a huge setback on klaus's progress, not to mention unnecessary deaths of a female character of color (so a white man can be sad about it smh) and bury your gays. i really expected better from TO.

CANON COUPLES:

Darkling/Alina aka DARKLINA: What I came for TBH, though not necessarily what kept me watching through the end (damn you, episode 5! you got me so confused! ahhh but also corruption arc for Alina? hmmmm) Jessie and Ben have chemistry in spades, and Ben emotes well for an ancient asshat. These two have great fic potential.

Mal/Alina aka MALINA: Sweet! A little boring to me initially tbh, but much better on rewatch. They are each other's safe haven, and there's something really lovely about that. I like them together.

Kaz/Inej aka KANEJ: GOD TIER. THEY'VE RUINED EVERYTHING ELSE FOR ME. NOTHING EVEN COMES CLOSE. THE FUCKING PINING BITCH. HE LOVES HER. SO SO MUCH. 1000000000/10.

Full disclosure: I came for Darklina, but stayed for Kanej. And, at this rate, will happily suffer countless seasons where the most they do is maybe hold hands but also Netflix please let them heal their trauma together and kiss at least once for my poor shipper heart PLEASE

Nina/Matthias aka HELNIK: They're cute. Almost a little too on-the-nose with the tropes for me, personally, but the actors make it work.

Jesper/Stable Boy: Honestly? Good for Jesper. The only person on the show who actually managed to get laid onscreen. He deserves it.

Genya/David: Also very cute, though they don't necessarily occupy much brain space. I like that David is this awkward little dork but he's just. So good for Genya. It's very pure and she really needs that.

Darkling/Zoya: Zoya, baby, you deserve better. That said, I wish the show had explored their backstory a bit more. These two would clearly put the T in toxic (Aleksander largely being the one to blame here, of course).

Ivan/Feydor: As someone else put it, these two can be summarized simply by -- be gay and do crimes. They're real cute. If only they weren't Team Darkling.

Darkling/Kaz aka DARKAZ: Sexy. So so sexy. Not in a physical sense (for obvious reasons' on Kaz' end, unless you go AU with that aspect, too) but more a battle of brains. Would inevitably end with Kaz slitting the Darkling's throat, somehow as he should, lmao.

Kaz/Alina aka KAZALINA: I didn't understand this, initially. They barely interacted and Kaz seemed more the type to drag Alina by the kefta than woo her. However, I saw a bunch of people on TikTok attacking someone who made a fantastic AU video edit, (and by a bunch I mean at least two attack videos amassing 10K+ likes total) -- so now I ship it purely out of spite, LOL. It only works in an AU where Inej doesn't exist or Kanej is somehow still endgame, but you know what? The saint and the nonbeliever has some potential. I dig it.

Kaz/Jesper aka KESPER: There's some basis for it in the books. I do prefer them as friends (and come on! Wylan!) but again, I get it.

Jesper/Inej: I... want whatever y'all are smoking bc it must be AMAZING (I kid, I kid). While I can't fully claim to understand it, I love both characters, want nothing but the best for them, and am not entirely opposed to it given the right premise. And Jesper did say he'd kill a man for Inej pretty much without hesitation...

Kaz/Jesper/Inej: OT3 vibes. I haven't read anything with these three just yet but I think, done right, it could be absolutely perfect.

Inej/Alina: I feel like Inej's piety would actually get in the way of a true relationship but I think it's cute as a one-sided crush, Inej on Alina.

Mal/Inej: This one is probably the most random of the Inej ships, but I'm team "Give Inej All The Love" so I'll let this one slide. Also, Amita and Archie low-key have crazy chemistry off-set so again. I get it.

Mal/Kaz: ... does this even exist? Lol I think Mal would definitely drive Kaz up the goddamn wall

Mal/Darkling: Objectively hilarious to me on several counts LMAO (that fight scene at the end of episode 8 PLS). BUT there's a fine line between love and hate... maybe it's not Alina they were after but each other all along

Alina/Genya: Again, god-tier. Also, makes Genya's later betrayal of Alina extra tasty in my opinion. So yeah, add in a dash of heartbreak why not?!?

Alina/Zoya: Enemies to lovers excellence. Though Zoya clearly has some internalized self-hatred to work through (baby WHAT was that half-breed comment?), I don't hate it. Maybe some day...

I can't do a read more on mobile and this will be a long post so be warned.

One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus Review (contains spoilers)

What I liked

I generally liked the four main characters, they have personalities and flaws and they're likeable for the most part

Addy's character arc was probably my favourite, her realisation that Jake was a controlling boyfriend, cutting off her hair and expressing herself, becoming more independent from her mother and learning to improve her relationship with her sister, in general I liked the character she became by the end

Speaking of sisters, I liked the dynamic between Maeve and Bronwyn. Bronwyn doesn't baby her despite her medical history and they get on well, as well as the odd normal sibling arguments

Despite being sceptical at first, I thought Nate and Bronwyn's romance was quite cute by the end of the novel

There was decent suspense surrounding the mystery

As much as I found flaws in Cooper's story (see below) I liked how he could have been the horrible jock, but he was actually a decent person. A nice difference from the typical jock character

Nonny is my favourite adult. We love wise old ladies

What I disliked

I called quite a lot of the major plot points. Not to brag or anything, but it shows it's slightly predictable at times. I predicted that Bronwyn and Nate would get together pretty early in the book, I predicted that Janae would be involved, I predicted that it would be a suicide. I predicted those last two about 2/3 of the way through the book so it wasn't obvious from the start but yeah

The characters are very one dimensional and stereotypical at the start, and if it weren't for sheer will power I would have given up fairly quickly. Bronwyn is a geek who does all the extracurriculars, Nate is a bad boy with a criminal record, Cooper is great at sports and Addy is very shallow. Literally what they're said to be on the title in the first few chapters

The good girl/bad boy romance between Bronwyn and Nate was predictable. I've read enough Wattpad books to know the formula and spot the signs - childhood friends, pretend to have nothing to do with each other but actually have feelings for each other secretly, good girl finds out that bad boy has bad home life, bad boy finds out good girl isn't as much of a rule stickler as first appears, love. Ta da. A couple

I was disappointed with Cooper's arc and story. I thought near the start when it was shown that all of them have secrets "If one of the characters' secrets is that one of them is gay, that could be cool to explore the themes of homophobia in high schools. It would be even cooler if it was Cooper, as toxic masculinity within sports is a problem" I was proud of myself for kind of calling that one but I was disappointed with how it was handled

I feel like we could have seen more of Cooper and his father repairing their relationship after Cooper is forced to come out due to circumstances. Like the father is disappointed, then a couple chapters later he's kind of talking to him again only after Cooper starts receiving baseball offers again. There's no awkward conversation, no trying to understand from the father, it just happens and then it seems to be over and is never touched on again. There could have been a lot more done with this plot point and I feel he was robbed of the character development that the other three got, especially Addy. I was so happy with her arc and disappointed with Cooper's

There was no follow up with the police basically outing Cooper and getting away with it?? Like there's talk of people being angry at what the police did but the police never faced consequences nor was there any discussion within the novel about why outing someone is bad. I know it's not the main plot of the novel and I'm not expecting a Simon-Martin-carpark masterpiece exchange like in Simon vs The Homosapiens Agenda but there could have been something??

Sidenote - I want to do more book reviews, especially on queer books, and Simon will be the first.

There was the cafeteria scene and the mention of those boys being nasty at a baseball game but Cooper faces relatively little opposition after coming out. Yes, I want queer characters to be happy. Yes, I know this is not the main plot of the book. I'm just saying Cooper was robbed of a good character arc and if there had been more between him and his father I would have less complaints

I get why he cheated on Keeley, compulsory heteronormativity is a real and difficult problem, but Cooper faces no consequences for cheating on Keeley. She's not my favourite character for reasons I don't know how to explain but she deserved better

The explanation of how and why for the ending is confusing to read, we know almost nothing before Janae reveals everything. It's a lot of info to take in at once and so it makes everything very confusing

OK here we go, my big problem with the book - its handling of mental health, particularly depression, self harm and suicide. Final TW before things get serious.

The final twist of revealing that Simon's death wasn't murder, it was suicide - I get he was depressed, I get his reasons, but I've also seen other people complain about this - Suicide is a delicate and serious topic that needs to be handled with sensitivity and shouldn't be a plot twist for shock factor. No hate to the author, but it needs to be said, I don't like how this was handled at all

Final rating - 2/5 (⭐⭐⚫⚫⚫)

The characters are what saves this from a lower rating. I was disappointed in general - with Cooper's arc, the handling of sensitive topics and the ending. I'd heard such good things about this book and I'm disappointed.

If you liked this book, tell me why! Yes I was very critical, but I want to hear different opinions so my view of the book becomes more rounded. I want to do more of these so I hope you enjoyed :)

I'm hella angry rn, so here I am, talking shit on anon. I HATE THAT LESBIANS ARE SO SEXUALIZED. I hate it, you know? We get Malec, probably the first h e a l t h y mlm couple on tv, but still no healthy, cute and soft wlw. I'm happy looking at my baby boys, sure, but I also feel hollow. I want to see two, cute, soft and powerful girls (like clizzy) fighting for each other, talking problems out, holding hands, cuddling and their cute smiles. Not only them making out/having sex and arguments.

And it also made me believe that as a wlw i can’t maintain a good relationship with a girl. I’m fully aware it’s not true, but still. On tv you can see guys being a few years with each other and still having an “interesting” relationship and it made me believe that wlw relationships will get boring after they stop having rough sex (which is probably gonna happen after 2-3months). I want an interesting, caring, honest and beautiful wlw relationship, in my life and on tv. Is it too much?

I hope you don’t mind me ranting about this nonnie, but here we go. I honestly feel everything you mentioned, and I joke about it a lot and also mention it a lot but i’ve never actualy said how painful it is to never get to see two girls loving each other and it not being all about sex or angst. Shows like the L word show a very sexualized image of wlw and i’m not saying wlw don’t have as much sex as they show or that we are not sexually attracted to a lot of women we meet, but it’s annoying when that’s all we get when it comes to representation. What about the young girls that just want to see a sapphic couple being cute and happy? What about the older women that want to see sapphic relationships shown as they are? It never fucking happens and i’m sick of it. When I found out one day at a time had a teenager who is also latina questioning her sexuality and then realizing she is gay and coming out I couldn’t believe I found someone I could see myself in, I seriously cried for about 5 minutes because it felt like I could see myself in her and that I could understand everything she was going through, her entire storyline is just so special and important to me that I can’t help but cry everytime I watch the scene where she comes out to her mom, and feel warm and happy when she comes out to her brother, and feel physical pain when I watch the scene where she comes out to her dad. That’s how important representation is. It matters, and the lack of queer women in media, especially woc, is frustrating. I seriously can’t believe that for every lesbian or bi girl on tv we get like 3 gay white cis gay couples, and I know representation, any representation, for the lgbt+ community is important, it doesn’t matter if it’s two white young cis guys, it’s still representation but it gets to a point where it’s just not enough, most of the characters and relationships become toxic and problematic or the characters can be really gross people, so when the characters and the relationships are healthy and good and well written for us is a fucking blessing but i’m tired of lgbt+ rep =2 white cis young twinks making out and having sex. wlw deserve so much better. There’s only a couple of characters and relationships that include wlw that I can think of that are actually good and realistic, but it gets annoying when the only options we have are either “over sexualized couple or couple that doesn’t get good development and is in the background”, where is my  jake and amy but with two girls? is it ever gonna happen?, and a lot of people will argue that there are wlw in tv “but what about lena and stef?” oh you mean the lesbians on that show that is about incest and really boring over the top annoying drama, and that shows them being unhappy 60% of the time? “but what about lexa and clarke?” oh you mean the girl that does brown face and her girlfriend, both on that really problematic, racist, sexist show? “but what about alex and maggie?” oh you mean the couple on that show that said a white girl was latina? “but what about tara and denise?” oh you mean denise, the girl that was killed right after she found her girlfriend and they were happy? “but what about luisa and rose?” oh you mean luisa, who is almost never on the show and, rose, who is a fucking murderer who is also very manipulative, rose and luisa, who have a toxic relationship that half the time it’s shown it’s all about sex?. I’m tired of this, right now the only good sapphic couple I can think about are nicole and waverly from Wynonna Earp, they are good and healthy and have a great relationship and you have no idea how happy it made me when they didn’t kill nicole, how fucked up is that??? that i can’t watch a show without fearing they are gonna pull this shit??? we deserve better representaion. Better storylines. We aren’t some joke a commedy series can throw around. We aren’t some sad tragic story that they can use for the sake of angst. We just deserve better.
