I just noticed one more little detail from THAT scene that breaks my heart.

It's when Crowley starts walking away the first time and Aziraphale stops him. Crowley turns around and looks at Aziraphale while he talks.

Then, as soon as Aziraphale starts alluding to them as a couple, Crowley immediately looks away, like he can't handle it.

Aziraphale continues pleading with him emotionally, and Crowley continues to look away, like it's making him too emotional to even look at Aziraphale. Maybe he thinks it would be too hard to resist if he looks at Aziraphale just then.

He doesn't look back at Aziraphale until he stops making emotional pleas and instead tries to make it rational. Then, Crowley finally seems to think it's safe to look at him again and make his point.
