Born with genius-level intellect, #Ekko constructed machines before he could crawl. Throughout his youth he watched his parents age beyond their years. They earned meager wages while greedy factory owners, and sneering #Piltovan buyers, profited immensely from their labor. It would all be worth it, they reasoned, if it meant their son could one day rise to the city above. Ekko made an astonishing find: a shard of blue-green crystal that glittered with magical energy. He experimented madly with the crystal. During one less-than-scientific attempt, the gem exploded into a vortex of shimmering dust, triggering eddies of temporal distortion. Ekko opened his eyes to see several splintered realities—and several echo versions of himself—staring back in sheer panic amid the fractured continua. He really did it this time. After some tense coordination between Ekko & his paradoxes, they managed to contain & repair the hole he had torn in the fabric of reality. Eventually, he harnessed the shattered crystal’s temporal powers into a device that would allow him to manipulate small increments of time… in theory. The time-warping device—which Ekko dubbed the #ZeroDrive—grew more and more stable. The only limit was how many do-overs his body could take before exhaustion set in. His time-bending antics have made him a person of interest to some of #Zaun & #Piltover ’s most inventive, most powerful, & most dangerous individuals. But his only interest is in his friends, his family, and his city. He dreams of the day when his hometown rises up to dwarf the so-called City of Progress, when Piltover’s golden veneer will be overshadowed by the towering ingenuity and relentless spunk of a Zaun born not from generations of privilege, but from sheer daring. He may not have a plan yet, but he’s got all the time in the world. After all, if his Z-Drive can change the past, how hard can it be to change the future? #Raven is a superhero appearing in comic books published by #DCComics. The character first appeared in a special insert in DC Comics Presents #26 (October 1980). A #cambion child of a demon father (#Trigon) and human mother (#Arella), Raven is a powerful empath who can sense emotions and control "soul-self", which can fight physically, as well as act as Raven's eyes and ears away from the physical body. Raven is well known for being adept with various types of magic and sorcery. The character also goes by the alias #RachelRoth as a false civilian name. ANNOYING ANIME TROPES THAT NEED TO STOP🛑

J. Ueda absolutely loves anime. It’s probably the main source of entertainment for her and thus, she’s watched a lot. Through watching so many different types of anime, she’s noticed a couple of things that she finds so annoying and can turn her off 👎🏽on a show. Here are a few annoying anime tropes that she’s noticed that need to ✋🏽. Let her know at the end if you agree or what tropes annoy you.

1. THE AGGRESSIVE TSUNDERE

Tsundere characters are a really common anime trope. For those not familiar with the term, it is a Japanese term for a character development process that depicts a character who is initially cold, stern, stoic, harsh, temperamental and hotheaded before gradually showing a warmer, friendlier side over time. This isn’t a bad character to have and typically show up in romance anime, but when they constantly attack the main character to hide their feelings and get overly mad about misunderstandings and tend to not apologize when they’re wrong, it gets played out and makes the show difficult to watch. Speaking of misunderstandings, this leads to my next pet peeve…

2. RIDICULOUS MISUNDERSTANDINGS

There are misunderstandings in every show, but the ones I’m referring to is when a character overhears two people talking and only hears the last part of the conversation and then bases everything on that one moment and thinks the person hates them or plotting something sinister. Basic communication would solve so many problems in anime, but instead you have to suffer through the miscommunication for almost the whole season.

3. GUYS WHO CAN’T TELL THE GIRLS LIKE HIM

Guys in anime (especially harem-like anime) who are absolutely clueless to the girl liking him even though she drops the most obvious hints. For example, the girl can walk around in her bra and panties and shows obvious attraction towards him and he’s too scared or still questioning whether or not he should make a move or if she likes him…..WHAT?! Like dude make a move and stop being such a wimp.

4. EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF ECCHI

When there is too much ecchi in an anime, it completely takes me away from the plot. I can admire a sense of meat balloons but when you can’t go 30 seconds without massive, gravity defying tatas in your opening and even more so in the anime, makes me think there isn’t much to the story and I become way less interested. Also hella hard to explain when people walk in.

5. WHEN THE AMAZING ANIME OP GETS CHANGED TO A TERRIBLE ONE

This one is not so much annoying as it is disappointing. Some anime have the most epic openings and even closing themes and you basically want them to stay forever. Sadly, with each new arc/season, enters a new opening and ending theme. It’s not always bad, but when it switches to something subpar, it can be tragic.
