Wealth oppression is still oppression and even if a human is still 99% privileged in all other aspects, they are STILL oppressed under capitalism if they are a worker.

Neoliberalism is the ultimate evil, and the harm it did to our political landscape is insurmountable. If The Left hadn't been so staunchly pro-capitalism in the early 00s, maybe so many poor white people wouldn't have fallen victim to the anti sjw to alt right pipeline.

I know it's fun to always criticize the other side, but some introspection never hurt anyone. Do you guys know WHY anti-sjw videos were so popular among poor white teenage men in particular? Do a YouTube search for anti-sjw debunk videos. The videos are all set up in exactly the same way: respond to accusations of social injustice with arguments of economic injustice to prove that you have it "just as bad" as everyone else does and "not all white people are rich."

None of us were class conscious enough at 15 to pick up on this was what was happening, so we just responded with "lol white male tears" ironically sending these teenagers the message to suck their pain up and deal with it because it's not real and doesn't exist- engaging in toxic masculinity standards ourselves while berating men for being "toxic."

Now, pause, I am not writing this as a defense of white men or asking you to forgive neonazis. Please understand that all relationships are two way streets and analyzing how we can do better next time is not asking you to forgive the sins of racist murderers, okay? Insane I have to write this but neurotypicals gunna neutrotyp.

Okay, back to it. So, if you really analyze what these white men were saying, it boils down to "you say white men are the problem but im living proof that I have no "privileges," because I'm poor or homeless x y z," and instead of really engaging with that response, the left just kind of made fun of men for expressing their feelings? And I am not saying they were right for how they responded and the level to which they took it there, but analyzing the way the rich have set us up against each other will only help prevent them for creating more neonazis in the future.

Socialism has been kind of painted as this response to whiteness, if you really think about why the anti sjw pipeline was so effective especially after a black man became president in 08, and therefore it has become associated with the black man's response to the white man. It really all started with rich men like Ben Shapiro making YouTube videos claiming that sjws are full of shit and then peddling hundreds of millions into making sure poor men were tuned in and listening as social justice warriors became increasingly frustrated with how ignorant everyone was to injustice in America.

If you read the new Jim crow, it discusses the LONG history of Rich Whites pinning Poor Whites against each other and how effective that has been in upholding Capitalism, Colonialism and Patriarchy for centuries. I really recommend reading that book because then this post will make a lot MORE sense when you see how the same tactics described in that book were used by rich men like Ben Shapiro to funnel millions into literal anti-black and anti-socialist propaganda on the internet for years before Trump was elected.

Why do you think the right has been calling the left communist for decades now, even when neoliberalism was the main form of left ideology in the U.S. at the time? Because they were equating the economic solution for poor white people's problem with the social solution for everyone else's problems being one and the same (eat the rich= they're coming after you, your children and they want thing you don't even have out of revenge for things that happened centuries ago).

This is why white people see white privilege as economic privilege and economic privilege only because for a long time, they were pretty synonymous. However, capitalism is a self-eating system and eventually the social privilege will fall to economic privilege because not everyone can be rich means not every white person can be rich (a truth that's hard to swallow for poor whites who have been racist for decades under the guise of "economic freedom"). Now we're in "late stage capitalism," which is what white people are calling normal capitalism but affecting a huge amount of whites now.

This is why there was a huge anti-feminism crave that came along with the anti-sjw wave because if white women start realizing gender is a social concept + our role in creating gender inequality everywhere but Europe, where our husbands did that for us, we can convert our white male family into socialists and they can't have that. This is why in colonized countries, Feminism Appropriating Reactionary Transphobia (FART) is more mainstream feminism now. They cannot have people realize that capitalism/Colonialism created gender inequality because once they do- once women wake up to what our gender really is, it's fucking over for the capitalists.

Women with gender studies degrees are all coming to the conclusion that our gender was created as a way to instill capitalism into the world, and this scares the shit out of feminists because feminists are- at their core- racist as fuck. Feminism is an ideology that was created to protect White Supremacy and it will react in the exact same way any other White Supremacist organization does when threatened.

Anyways, I say all of this to say that it's all connected. Everything has always been connected and poor whites need to grow up, wake up and realize rich whites have been playing them for fools for centuries. Eat The Rich doesn't mean attack all white people because they're so privileged, but this is at the heart of many neonazi fears today. They don't want to die for revenge when they have nothing to give.

If we start saying "yes, white men are oppressed. Not because of any social injustice but because economic injustice is truly colorblind." And we start explaining to these young teenagers and men that what they are feeling IS oppression, just not social oppression, they will be much less likely to fall victim to the anti sjw to alt right pipeline. Because they will know that black people aren't the problem, Rich Whites are.

Stopping poor whites from aligning with Republicans has been a consistent weak spot for the left for decades now and it's because of neoliberalism's love for capitalism. Admitting that white people do feel economic oppression is the first step in deradicalizing and preventing radicalization to begin with.

The part that really gets me though is it's so often the people attacking others as monsters who turn round moments later and are on about how the world needs more empathy. Yet they can't even muster enough empathy themselves to realise how fucking draining it is to have them calling you a bigot constantly is.

This shit has been going on for like 8 years or more now and doesn't seem to be getting any better if anything it's getting worse and I can see why people just retreat to their own little spaces or just embrace the things that bring them joy. Just finished Literature Devil's video on the Obi-Wan/Vader ROTS fight and oh my GOD I used to like this guy. How does he not get any of it.

First he starts off misunderstanding the sand quote but we're used to that, whatever, not everyone has a brain, sure. He could have made an effort but this isn't what the video is about.

One of the things that absolutely struck me and I'm surprised someone would say that on the internet in front of thousands of people because that's like admitting to no reading comprehension whatsoever is that - he says a good scene goes from one of the main core emotions, glad, sad, mad or afraid to another one and preferably switches in the middle, otherwise it's boring and hollow. Okay yeah. But he says the scene starts with us feeling sad that Vader turned to the dark side and only switches at the end with us feeling happy that Obi-Wan won, and - there's my problem. In what world do you think we're supposed to feel happy about the outcome of that fight?? These two guys, closer than brothers, more intimate than lovers, two halves of a single warrior, had to fight each other and one of them maims the other one and you think we're supposed to be happy that Obi-Wan won?? Nobody's happy about this! Not Vader who lost the rest of his limbs and won't really know happiness anymore, not Obi-Wan who just dismembered his best friend/brother/other half, and not the audience because this is a fucking tragedy!! What the fuck. How do you misread the scene that bad. And he says it a few times! Like what sir. What the fuck. It's pretty obvious this is sad and it sucks. But apparently Mr Literature Devil sees Obi-Wan's devastated face and hears "I loved you" and goes "ah yes I'm so happy he won :)" ???

Tied to that but he also says that the only moment where the course of the battle changes is the end, and that that makes the rest feel flat. His fix-it fanfic version of the fight includes Obi-Wan attacking Vader more aggressively, with switches from him dominating the fight (which we once again are supposed to be feeling happy about for some reason) and then Vader having the upper hand, but then Obi-Wan is coming out on top again and he ends up cuting the rest of Vader's limbs. And ?? Obi-Wan wouldn't dude do you understand the character or what. Only one of those men is trying to kill the other here. Obi-Wan isn't for real trying to kill his other half, he's being the patient boyfriend waiting for his girlfriend to get tired so they can hug and talk it out. He wouldn't feint to cut Vader's limbs or whatever, this is the other half to his warrior.

Gotta say though he suggests Vader gloating about beating Obi-Wan before he's truly beaten, right before he feints and cuts of his arm, which is just what happens in that Obi-Wan Kenobi flashback so yeah that checks out, and also that there should have been a moment of calm in the middle for Obi-Wan to meditate a little like Qui-Gon does in TPM, which would have been like poetry and rhymed, and I can't say that's terrible either. Like I much prefer those two suggestions to the rest. Would it be appropriate, especially the meditation, I'm not certain, but it doesn't immediately jump to my fave as being a shit idea, so hey.

And named himself and his Youtube channel after the taboo winter hunger spirit of the Algonquian native peoples. It is a part of a closed-off religion where you aren’t supposed to mention the spirit by name or it will notice or manifest.

It also conceptually symbolizes the imperialism and colonialism and greed - “the consuming forms of exclusion and assimilation” - that affected the Algonquian peoples. The further cultural appropriation and misrepresentation of the taboo spirit into a quirky cryptid and using it for branding and merchandise is inappropriate. BUT I NEED TO CALL ATTENTION TO THIS! One of the reasons I criticize a lot of Viv specifically is because of how much she puts herself out there. She sees something she posts on Twitter about it a shit ton (even on "threads" lol). AND because of how lacking of improvement she has being. (I personally know people I have considered terrible when we were teens, but I have seen legit improvement from them in recent years. They seem like people who struggle, but got to grow up and made up for any problems (or pain caused to me or others). People have the ability to change and become better. Something that matters at pointing out issues or discussing-is the idea of creating change on others. It is better to get someone to change for the better than to cast them into the forever jail of nothingness (unless, IDK, they Sexually Assaulted someone, for example). Specially when they are young people. Doesn't mean YOU have to stick with other people that hurt you, no. Doesn't mean people get to do what ever and get away with it.

BUT All of this problem I have seen from Viv are from age 19-30. (you can change at anytime btw) And see constantly repeats herself and her actions. Seems to have never accepted criticism (said by herself too), and never able to see her own faults. The fact that is a continuous behavior is a problem, how she always responds is awful. My post of "Viv has being transphobic for 10 years", was to signal that. If she really had changed over those 10 years to a genuine thing- I could've taken that! But no, the shitty double standard against trans men... the weird treatment. THE MANY STORIES OF EMPLOYEES GETTING MISGENDERED HEAVILY, TOO.

His design is done with 80 fucking layers on top. Like all the test of the skinny character's clothes suck up to their body except for Mammon. His body is hidden in layers upon layers of clothing (that's all you got?). All you main guys need to fill "the skinny have nothing men" and "skinny woman with big hips and legs, but no fucking stomach"?

That's why it hits the fan with stuff. -And again I liked many of the little concepts and stuff in HB and the original pilot of Hazbin. Shit- I still like Sir Pentious and Nifty. I do like Mammon as much as he is a pack of problems to call out, I fucking love the piece of shit Australian jester- The artist work hard on it, and I'm happy it's an openly queer! (as limited as it gets, too....). I liked Huni-cast, I loved the original voice cast! -and that happens! I could be writing this about other stuff too, not only Hazbin... if I created this blog earlier- IT WOULD ALL BE ABOUT RWBY, DANGANRONPA, even svtfoe...Ladybug... or Agretsuko's ending too. So yeah, sorry for the long post (as if all my post weren't)
