this is for @nessieartss!! based on this (it was me that asked, surprise) and also the first part of this art
i hope you enjoy!! older brother sukuna lives rent free in my brain right now and i love him being a bastardman
---
“Ay, what the fuck was that?!” Sukuna shouts as Yuuji cackles in glee. His character races into first place, winning the Grand Prix. Sukuna' goes from first place to fourth. “You threw a red shell right after a blue shell! That's fucking cheating!”
Yuuji shrugs, lounging back against the couch and drops the controller next to him. “Don't hate the player, hate the game,” he says with a grin and pulls out his phone. “Those dishes aren't gonna wash themselves.”
Sukuna grunts as he tosses the controller onto the coffee table. “I hate both the player and the game.”
“And the game hates you!” the younger boy calls out after his brother's retreating figure.
Turning his attention back to his phone, Yuuji’s grin melts into a soft smile when he sees Yuko's name on a Snapchat notification. He glances over his shoulder to make sure that Sukuna is still in the kitchen before tapping on the notification. It won't be anything inappropriate, but he knows for a fact that if Sukuna saw that his younger brother was texting a girl, Yuuji wouldn't hear the end of it.
The Snapchat shows a picture of a latte with the classic tulip foam art and a caption that reads: ‘I think I'm finally getting the hang of this latte foam art!’
Yuuji holds his phone out to take a picture of himself, giving Yuko a big smile and a thumbs up.
‘That's so good!! Ur a professional now. If I ordered one, would u make me a cat???’
“Yo! Can I put this cast iron pan in the dishwasher?” Sukuna asks from the kitchen. He waits for a response and gets nothing. “I’m about to put this pan in the dishwasher!” Again, no response. Rolling his eyes, Sukuna makes his way back out to the living room. “Dude, if this pan gets ruined, it’s gonna be your fault—”
Sukuna cuts himself off when he catches sight of a picture of a girl on his little brother’s screen. Immediately, he reaches over the couch and snatches the phone out of Yuuji’s hand. “Oh! Who is this?” he gasps, bringing the screen closer to his face for a better look. “Do you have a girlfriend little bro?”
“Hey!” Yuuji scrambles, turning around to lean over the back of the couch in an attempt to grab his phone back. Sukuna places his hand on Yuuji’s forehead, keeping him at arm’s length as he looks over the picture. “Give me back my phone!”
Smacking Sukuna’s arm away, Yuuji vaults over the back of the couch and decides to try and wrestle his phone back from his brother. It doesn’t work, however. The two grapple for a few moments and the next thing Yuuji knows, Sukuna has his arm wrapped around his brother’s neck, holding him in a firm headlock. It isn’t enough to hurt him, but it’s enough to keep him from trying to escape, knowing that it’s futile.
“Who is she, huh?” Sukuna presses as he slides Yuuji’s phone into his pocket and begins rubbing his knuckles on the top of Yuuji’s head.
“I’m not gonna tell you!” Yuuji laughs, trying in vain to smack Sukuna’s hand away from his head.
“Well, I’m not letting you go until I get some answers,” the older boy states, rapping his knuckles against Yuuji’s forehead. Then he pinches Yuuji’s nose.
Weighing his pros and cons, Yuuji relents. “Okay, okay! I’ll tell you! Just let me go.”
Sukuna snorts. “Nah, if I let you go right now, you’ll just try to punch me and I won’t get what I asked for.”
Yuuji groans. His brother knows him too well. “Her name is Yuko. She’s just a friend. I haven’t asked her out… yet,” he grumbles the last word.
Satisfied, Sukuna releases his hold on his brother and hands Yuuji's phone back.
In the midst of the struggle, Sukuna hadn’t noticed his own phone had fallen out of his pocket. It dings and Yuuji is the first to snatch it off the ground, curious to see who would be texting Sukuna. His jaw drops at the name displayed on the lock screen.
Sukuna quickly plucks his phone from Yuuji’s hand and goes back to the kitchen as Yuuji shouts after him, “Dude, why is Megumi texting you? And why is there a heart next to his name?!”

alright, so, one more thing i've been thinking about during all of this, and apologies, because i normally try to keep my blog fairly discourse-free in the grand scheme of things. but.
there are hermitcraft fans who act irritatingly morally superior about this fandom. i think it's out of some impulse to try to distance yourselves from any other mcyt fandom. it needs to stop.
the worst behavior during the polls was from the hermitcraft fans.
period.
there were so many instances of hermitcraft fans accusing the other side of cheating, of hermitcraft fans making attacks on the character of their guy's opponents, i have heard what i HOPE are isolated reports of racism in the grian/quackity fight (it was genuinely impossible to keep up with the blog's notes that round without both going into a death spiral thanks to the horrible behavior of scar fans during techno/scar and also without losing track instantly of where we were due to the frankly insurmountable volume of notes, so i did not see it, but unfortunately i fully believe it). i have seen people receiving awful asks - saw people being accused of 'betraying' the hermitcraft side due to voting for quackity or techno, for example.
and for a fandom that likes to act like it's better than the other guys, well. the dsmp fans were generally very well behaved in comparison. (shoutout, for example, to quackblr - i saw maybe one or two possible instances of bad behavior, but for as intense as you all were, you all were normally mostly just retaliatory towards whatever energy was thrown at you.) it wasn't supposed "outsiders coming in" that was doing this bad behavior, either.
folks, you can't blame the dsmp when the problem is inside the house. you can't blame twitter users when you're doing it here. you can't blame the reddit when you're the ones throwing the first death threats.
get off your high horses. we're all mcyt fans. we're all having the same fun. get off your high horses. you can hardly claim we're entirely all "unproblematic" when keralis accepted a sponsorship from the wizard game and xisuma periodically gets another round of getting shouted down over something he said on xisumasays. get off your high horses. you can't claim we're the accepting, good behavior fandom, unlike those other guys, when you're the ones causing the problems.
now, as always, i'm sure this is a law of large numbers thing to some extent. as technoblade, wise as he is, said: sometimes when you get a large enough group, you're going to have a few serial killers. but for the amount that hermitblr likes to act better than Those Other Minecraft Fandoms, and those Other Fandom Websites, it wasn't those guys that made me cry.
to be clear, the majority of you have been well-behaved. but there's a persistent tendency in this fandom to act strangely morally superior to other fandoms. and, y'all? you aren't.
you just aren't.
and the sooner you acknowledge that, the less likely this is to happen again, because once you admit that yeah, we can be toxic too? that's when you can start actually looking at yourself and trying not to be.
anyway, sorry again to make this post. i don't want to be a downer, hence why, outside of the official mod statements of "chill the fuck out", i didn't make this until now. (it also helps that i wanted to wait until i was no longer furious, upset, and death spiraling.) i have seen a lot of the best of this fandom over the past two weeks! i've just also, unfortunately, seen some of the worst, and feel the need to make this statement because it's just... been eating at me.
i don't want this to continue to be a trend. i think we can do better. do so.

Once again I am asking you to support artists by:
Checking their policy on reposting their art to other websites,
After checking if they are not already on the platform themselves, and
Providing a LIVE HYPERLINK to their website if you have their blessing to repost.
I don't post my work to Twitter any more for a reason, and if this person had taken a moment to look at my bio they would have known not to do this. Half a million views were given to someone who was not me, to people who do not know how to find more of my work nor have context for the original comic.
My screenname is in the original post, so I guess that's something.

attention fellow horny bitches, bros, and non-binary hoes:
there is a nsfw VA that I am deeply, DEEPLY obsessed with at the moment: DeepChoiceVA on r/gonewildaudio.
I just listened to this today: [M4F] Creampies and Donuts (reddit link, +18). I kid you not, it's a little over 15 minutes and I swear I [redacted] at least three times.
He's got a deep voice, but not too deep; it's slow, lazy, and just plain sexy. His dirty talk is so so good, he's out here saying things like, "your [redacted] looks so good split open around my [redacted]" like SHEESH I'm sweating, I'm taking notes for future use because my god it's so good. Credit to the script writer u/qmalice because they are a genius writing this god-tier script.
honorable mentions: [MMM4F] A Pool Party Turns Into a Fucking Competition (reddit link, 18+) - this is how I first discovered him, and honestly, I couldn't get my mind off of his voice specifically. also, threesome, of course it's good.

you know, i can handle a little bit of fun "Nandor is dumb" talk, but i have a net-zero tolerance for any implication that Nandor is not educated.
Nandor would have been incredibly educated in his lifetime.
even (or especially) as a soldier in the Islamic World. being a soldier was more like getting sent to boarding school that's also a military camp. they weren't just concerned with creating loyal fodder for war. they were building the next government officials, generals, accountants, advisors, etc. it was important that young men knew how to read, write, speak multiple languages, learn philosophy...sometimes even studying art and music was mandatory.
if he was nobility (and its most likely he was), take all that shit and multiply it exponentially. Nandor would have been reading Plato at the same age most people are still potty training. he would have been specifically groomed in such a way to not be just a brilliant strategist and warrior, but also diplomate and ambassador of literally the center of scientific and cultural excellence of the age.
so like yeah, he can be a big dummy sometimes, sure. but that bitch is probably more educated than any of us will ever be.

no bc i'm still hung up on this post and how oc's are expected to deliver more background information than anyone else and i'm here to once again emphasize how crucial interaction and engagement is to their own development both for the character and the writer behind them.
canon characters have the luxury of appearing "more fleshed out" / "self-explanatory" simply because we've witnessed them interact with other characters on screen. oc's don't get to have that when they are first created.
oc's start from scratch. and they can only build themselves based on the way they relate to others. it's literally how humans work.
so, you want to know more about oc's? engage. how? lemme give you some tips based on practices i've applied myself (feel free to reblog and add more):
read their headcanons: most oc's will provide important info there
ask the writer about their headcanons: found a headcanon intriguing? ask for details (e.g. if they mention they have a special item in them at all times, ask what it looks like, what for, its significance). this helps motivate writers to uncover new information about their own character.
ask the character about their headcanons: let the muse explain themselves and see how they behave about something personal, for example.
read their stats: pets? scars? tattoos? anything visible that can be commented on? point it out to the muse and comment on it.
send memes/questions: your best chance is when you see them reblog them so you don't have to come up with anything yourself.
relate them to your muse: does your muse like rock music? ask the character or the writer if they like rock music too.
note: this list isn't exhaustive. it's simply a couple examples from first-hand experience. it also applies to all muses (canon or oc), but needless to say, this post is specifically about oc's, hence the focus on them.

almost fell asleep in front of tha space heater so i will take this opportunaty to remind people this winter to prioritize insulating clothing > heat producing objects (heaters, campfires, hot water bottles, actually putting your laptop on your lap, etc) because otherwise your skin can become A Marshmallow
its called toasted skin syndrome / erythema ab igne and its a kind of burn that happens with long and repeated exposure to heat considered too low to normally burn you or even cause pain (~43C/109F). it's usually not that dangerous but it takes a few months to go away on its own, and in the meanwhile it'll be itchy and annoying and you will look like you got struck by lightning
most of these objects do have "be careful of getting burned, this is hot" warnings but i think most of us (or at least me last year, ouch) assume that you can 'self regulate' it so to speak. "if it doesn't hurt it's not hurting me, i just have to be careful! i can tell when i've messed up and i have enough sense to stop when it's causing pain" but you Can't that's a Lie your body is blind! unfortunately you gotta use your brain instead!

✼ー hello, my dear patrons.
i have an important announcement to make.
for my own mental health and reinforcing my boundaries, i will be implementing changes on how i interact in this blog. the general rules (shop etiquette) and taglist rules (membership) have been updated to reflect this.
to give a short summary of the changes, moving forward, i will fully cease interactions with minors or ageless blogs. the same goes for my taglist, which i have purged. more details can be found in the two links above. feel free to drop by my askbox if you need any clarifications.
i'm sorry to my mutuals / friends / followers, who are minors / uncomfortable in disclosing their age, but have been following the rules and respecting my boundaries. i'm truly sorry it had to come to this, but i have had enough. the nature of my content will stay the same but if these changes doesn't sit well with you, please feel free to unfollow or block.
lastly, if you have been following my rules, genuinely, thank you so, so much for respecting the human being behind the handle name 'zhongrin'. you are a blessing to humanity and i hope good things will come your way soon.
Tumblr media
ps. i will be reblogging this post for about a week or so, just so people can see it.

hey phandom, we can do better
i know we're all getting sick and tired of tagging discourse, especially when it comes to dpxdc tagging, but i'm beginning to notice another problem this fandom has, usually with reblog tags specifically, and it's becoming a bit of a problem.
i know the joke in the phandom is that we all love gore/body horror/gruesomeness in general, and in general, the tolerance level is, on average, much higher than the average fandom, but i think it's important we realize that not everyone is okay with seeing such levels of gore and violence on their dash, and let's be real: we are awful at properly tagging posts with gore.
like i said, this really goes for reblogs too. i know i for one have an extremely low gore tolerance (in many cases, it can actually be triggering for me), and usually at least once a day i see improperly tagged reblogs of excessive blood on the lighter end and posts with Danny's (or whoever's) insides literally on full display on the more extreme end.
all i'm asking is for everyone to try and make an effort to properly tag gore. it can be very off-putting for new fans especially to realize that they're expected to fit into a one-size-fits-all approach to the levels of gore normally tolerated in the phandom, and it can be stressful for older fans who are just looking to engage with a silly children's cartoon they adore. we want the phandom to be as open and accessible to as many people as possible, after all.
tags like #gore, #body horror, etc. are great ways to start, and honestly, given that we're the phandom, we can even have tags like #dissection, since so much of gore seems to revolve around dissections.
it takes two seconds to add a quick tag so that people don't have to see potentially triggering subject matters <3 <3 <3
