where our blue is
3 years of gojo's blue spring with his best friends and ... you. basically hidden inventory arc with you in it.
Tumblr media
it's 2005 and satoru had met you for the first time. you'd heard of him, the strongest. you weren't particularly excited to meet him however that was all for naught when another classmate came along. suguru.
you quickly got close to suguru and he got along with satoru meaning you also got to hang out with satoru. over time though, the three of you became inseparable. satoru's demeanor changed from a stuck up brat to a goofy one. still a brat nonetheless.
somewhere along the way satoru developed feelings for you. he wasn't sure if it's because he was impressed by your technique and perseverance or because everytime you laugh the world suddenly becomes a better place.
he thinks you're very pretty. the way you'd scowl at his jokes, or the way you'd scold him when he got too arrogant or the way you could see through the strong front he put up, like the person he truly was, he loved you. every part of you. he'd die before he'd tell you that though.
“arcade lets go” you felt satoru’s strong arm over your shoulder as suguru trailed behind chuckling at the very obvious display of affection only he seemed to catch on.
“get lost im going shopping with shoko today” you shove him off as satoru clenched his heart dramatically. “oh come on i need my cheerleader!” he quickly rushed to stand in front of you blocking your way.
“no. even if i were to come i wouldn't be on your side” you roll your eyes at him, he only pouted. “why don't you and shoko meet us at the arcade later? we have a mission first anyway” suguru chimed in.
“get him get him!”
“hah you lost!” satoru pointed as he laughed diabolically, throwing a high five at shoko.
as a punishment for losing, “try a smoke” shoko suggested suguru hoping to catch him lacking and choke on it but suguru managed to do it elegantly. as he does everything.
“hm for you, buy me dinner. all i can eat” satoru said triumphantly. and oh it was a punishment alright. “hell no, you inhale food i’m broke” you only scowl at him annoyingly.
“no this is your punishment, you can't refuse” he rests his elbow on top of your head. “annoying ass” you grumble at which he only chuckled.
all you got him was an onigiri and a can of coke from a vending machine. you ran away before he could protest. little did you know though, satoru wanted to have dinner with you alone, as a friendly date between two friends of course.
it's 2006 and with the new first years in jjk high, it was more livelier than last year. all of you had gotten pretty close, you especially with a bright underclassman named haibara.
more often than not, you spent your time with haibara chatting away and fooling around which satoru did not seem amused at. not one bit. he'd get more cranky over you but being the oblivious fool you are, you couldn't tell why.
sitting under the shade of the big tree at a park the students frequent, you relaxed after a particularly hard mission. out of nowhere satoru came and sat next to you without a word.
you didn't mind his presence and sat in silence until you felt him tap your shoulder. when you turned however, his finger poked your cheeks and you glare at him menacingly which he laughed at.
“you alright?” he asked as you shook his hand away. “better when you weren't here.”
satoru scoffed “you're definitely okay. i bet you'd prefer it if haibara was here”.
“i do actually” satoru made a face at your words not liking the way you admitted it but he didn't try to move further away, only closer. closer to you.
he leaned in till he was just a breath away. was this it? if he were to take this risk all the way and possibly confess, would you accept him? or would that ruin the friendship he had with you?
as he took his time debating, you snatched his glasses and giggled. “im taking this thanks!” you stood up and ran. ah well, there go his chance.
“hey give that back!” he started chasing you. you ran as fast as you could but you stood no chance against his unnecessarily long legs as they strode over to you.
he grabbed you by your waist and held you in place as you panted, out of breath. him? not so much.
you hid his glasses behind your back but satoru couldn't care less. his heart was hammering against his chest just from the way he held you and how close you are to him. it's like the universe was shouting and telling him to tell you about his feelings. he should have listened.
“hey hey look. i’ll give this back to you if… you buy us ice cream” your voice snapped him out of his own silly thoughts.
“us?”
“mhm. ice creams for suguru, shoko, haibara and nanami. all on you.” you grinned cheekily.
as if in a daze, he nods as you smile triumphantly. you brought his glasses and put it on him. you had to admit, you were glad he had to wear those, his blue eyes were so easy to drown in.
that night, all the first and second years sat on top of the school rooftop watching the stars while eating the ice cream popsicle satoru had brought, only because you asked. life was good.
until it wasn't.
due to a leg injury you had battling a grade 2 curse, your missions were taken by the other students. although you were disappointed in yourself you knew it was the right thing to do. at least you had shoko who was always at the school for healing since she was capable of using the reverse cursed technique.
however things never looked up from there.
when you found suguru's almost lifeless slashed body on the school grounds, the world beneath your feet crumbled. shakily you dragged him out of the debris and took him to shoko. you couldn't even begin to think of what could have happened to satoru or where he could be.
a few days ago, they had left on their mission to defend the star plasma vessel in high spirits. you guys even talked about having a school trip soon after they'd return but none of that seemed plausible now.
as soon as suguru was healed he immediately went away again, mumbling something about getting satoru. you couldn't follow because your leg wasn't fully healed yet. you could only stay behind and pray nothing happens to any of your friends.
when they returned however satoru felt, different. he felt colder, more distant. his uniform was covered in blood. whose blood? you didn't want to find out. that night he just fell into your arms in defeat, still cold, still shivering but still your satoru regardless.
that wasn't the end however.
the following weeks, you had begun to notice how distant geto had become. you'd tried talking to him but he'd brush you off everytime until you eventually stopped trying, but still assuring him you were here if he ever wanted to talk.
satoru was away on missions more and more. your friendship was slowly dissipating as much as you hated to admit it but you understood it was none of your faults. things happen. or that was what you keep telling yourself.
and you yourself had started going on more and more riskier missions on your own after your leg had healed.
as if the surging amount of curses popping up and then getting stronger and stronger weren't enough, you received news that became your breaking point.
haibara. how could it be? he had left with nanami on a mission abroad from which only nanami returned alive. it was hard for you to accept his death. ever since then you started completely detaching from everyone.
“i can't do this anymore” geto mumbled. you just stare at the floor unmoving, unfeeling.
things only took into a worse turn when you found out geto had massacred a village. he'd return particularly late one night and when you asked why, he sighs. “i just killed thousands of people y/n.”
“why?”
“you know why.”
it's 2007 and satoru had found himself crying, begging for you not to leave. after the stunt suguru pulled, he couldn't lose you too. not you. never you.
“suguru is doing this alone satoru” he'd heard your meek voice say.
“what about me?” his own voice was shaking, choking on his tears. it was pathetic but he couldn't care less.
seeing your hesitation he begged more.
“y/n what about me?” he cried.
the way you looked at him, the way your body froze in place it was working. you wouldn't leave him, you'd stay... until you wouldn't.
“im sorry. i don't see the point in staying”
“don't go talking like him!” he screamed. he stood there crying, afraid to take another step in case that pushes you even further away.
“i’ve made my decision. nothing you say or do can change it.” you turn around and walked away.
satoru was speechless. his world paused as everything around him became blurry.
the only clear thing his six eyes allowed him to see was your figure disappearing into the crowd.
i love you i love you i love you
toads on the tip of his tongue. if he'd said that, would you have stayed? this question still haunted him ten years later.
satoru woke up to find the blindfold wrapping his eyes dampening. he chuckled dryly as he stood up from his seat. he was at school apparently napping at an empty classroom.
coincidentally the same classroom he had spent his happiest years in, now bland and quiet.
his students megumi, yuji and nobara had walked inside, bringing life to the once empty room. the trio reminded him a lot of you, suguru and himself, his heart clenches.
“were you napping? don't fall asleep when you called us here” megumi said to him as the other two took turns to sit in his fancy chair he sat in a second ago.
he let out a non humourous chuckle as his memories haunted him.
“what are you laughing about?” megumi asked.
“nothing?” satoru quipped.
it was far from nothing. he missed his best friend and you. especially you.
he'd once told himself he'd die before ever telling you about his feelings for you. how ironic is it that you had to die first and how much did he regret not being strong enough to protect you despite being the strongest.
because what good is it being the strongest if he still isn't strong enough to protect the people he loved.

Jelly Donut
Word Count: 510; Penelope is onto your crush on Spencer, and a jelly donut is what just might make her the matchmaker of the year
"I have no idea what you're talking about!" Your voice is stubborn, filled with the unease, the unease that Penelope actually does know what she's talking about. Because if she does, if she really does know you have a massive crush on your best friend, then you are screwed.
"I just think that if you saw the way you both act around one another, than you would get it too!" She's persistent, more than you have the brain function to defend yourself against at eight in the morning persistent.
To buy yourself some time you start walking toward you office chair, taking a bite of the jelly donut in your hand. However the universe, or whoever controls it anyways, has other plans.
Because Spencer Reid is your office chair. "Oh hey Y/n!" He got a haircut. Maybe only a few inches. But you notice. It looks nice. Really nice. Too nice. Now you've got the hots while eating a jelly donut. Great.
"You're such a clutz, you know that?" You don't realize he's gotten up until you feel his thumb graze the corner of your lips, successfully wiping away what you assume had been the remains of donut powder clinging to the edges of your mouth.
"Well-Y-You're an idiot!" Because he's too close. Too damn close. For you to think. Of a better retort that is. Or at all.
He lifts his eyebrows, seemingly just as unimpressed as you and takes a step back, as you collect yourself you realize you're still in the company of a Ms. Penelope Garcia.
Her head is tilted, eyes squinted, mouth agape, then closed, then back open, like a fish, a very judgmental and very perseverent fish.
"If you just saw- what I-you would-he just-and then you!"
You pace over to her quickly, turning her around and whispering to her as quietly as possible, "That we're best friends? Penelope he only wants to be friends. That's all that we are! And-and I'm okay with that." You were so not okay with that.
But you really did believe it, the thought of rejection far too great of an obstacle for you to even consider.
But Penelope Garcia is master at obstacles.
So at that she swerves around, pointing her hot pink, manicured nail directly at the boy genius you'd fallen for. "You!"
"Me." he replies, only assuming it was another one of her jokes.
Scrunching her eyebrows and resilient as ever she then points to you. "Her!" He, nods in response.
"Date! Now!" You both flush at her words, smiling awkwardly nervously glancing around the room.
"I said. Now!" She then grabs your hand, interlocking yours and Spencers after some groveling. She's got one strong left arm.
You both voice your 'what ifs' at the same time and she rolls her eyes.
And before anyone can get another word out she's leaving quicker than you'e ever seen, only yelling back to address the situation she's left you in. "I got you half way to first base, don't mess it up! Best friends my ass." All this, just because of some stupid jelly donut.

Princess Lenora and The Starboy
A Sabine Wren & Ezra Bridger Fairytale
Tumblr media
Story Summary: A younger Sabine listens to an old fairytale told by her father, Alrich Wren.
~ the Princess ~
"Sabine, please do be careful up here. The steps are treacherous," called Alrich Wren to his daughter. The mountain path was relatively easy for the average Mandalorian, having been scouted and paved generations prior, but Alrich was not from the warrior class - and he was feeling that fact more and more with every step up the mountain.
It feels like someone poured sand into my joints, he thought grimly as he clambered over another low rock. By the Force was he thankful that Ursa was not here to witness this. She'd never let him live it down.
Sabine, all of eight years old, turned around and rolled her eyes at him. Her hair was cut short, similar to how her mother styled it, barely brushing past the nape of her neck and dyed a striking magenta color (much to her mother's disapproval). She wore a gray combat suit tailored to her scrawny frame, sans the armor plating that was custom to Mandalorian warriors. Sabine was not yet of age to receive her birthright, as was customary to all Mandalorian younglings, but it was coming soon.
"I think you should be worried more about yourself, Father," replied Sabine. "I'm doing just fine by myself."
Alrich wiped the sweat from his brow. The weather on Krownest was at its warmest for this season which, honestly, didn't mean much to anyone who lived here. It just meant that the cold was less biting than usual. "Remind me why you're here again," he said, throwing a stern look at his daughter.
Sabine shrugged. "For moral support, of course," she said with a cheerful smile.
"Uh-huh," he said dryly. "And not because you want to skip out on your studies again."
She crossed her arms - a gesture that reminded him violently of his wife. Sabine was more like her mother than either were willing to admit, which probably explained why they butted heads often. Alrich couldn't help but smile at her.
"Studies are boring," Sabine complained. "I'm going to ace it all, anyway."
Alrich sighed. It was true, of course. Sabine was a child prodigy, blessed with intelligence and aptitude towards any subject she put her mind to. The problem wasn't with her mind, her parents noted. It was with her attitude and rebellious demeanor.
In these dark times, it meant trouble.
"That's not the point of your studies, Sabine," he said. "It's a matter of discipline."
"Discipline is also boring," she countered.
This was not an argument he was going to win. Alrich shook his head and kept hiking forward until he finally caught up with his daughter. With an exasperated sigh, he fondly ruffled Sabine's hair.
"Father," she whined. "Don't mess up my hair, please."
Alrich grinned and began to put more vigor into his ruffling when he spotted something from the corner of his eye: a patch of white flowers, bursting up from the frost.
"A-ha," he said. "We've found it."
Sabine frowned and turned to follow his gaze. "Flowers? That's what we came all this way for?"
Alrich stepped forward, his footfalls crunching heavily in the snow. "Not just any flower, Sabine," he said. "Come, get a closer look."
She did and her eyes widened in recognition. "Lenora flowers," she said. "From the fairytale? These are real?"
"Of course they're real," said Alrich. "And unique to Krownest. These flowers don't grow anywhere else in the entire galaxy."
Sabine sat down to study them more closely. Her brown eyes sparkled with interest. "What makes them so special?"
Alrich sat next to her, grateful for the momentary rest. "Lenora flowers can grow in the adverse conditions of Krownest. Even during the harshest of winters, they continue to thrive. To our people, they are symbolic of unwavering loyalty and perseverance."
Sabine glanced at him. "And love?"
He nodded. "Yes. That is why they're your mother's favorite. I gift these to her every anniversary."
The look his daughter gave him turned sly. "And whenever you upset her, I gather. Because today is not your anniversary."
Alrich coughed to hide his embarrassment. "That's nonsense," he replied. "I was just feeling in the mood."
She grinned at him. "Your secret is safe with me, Father."
He patted her on the knee. "Good girl."
Alrich turned his attention back to the patch of flowers. "Do you remember the fairytale, Sabine? Princess Lenora and the Starboy?"
Sabine scrunched her face, thinking. "Vaguely. Were there star whales involved?"
Alrich smiled, pleased. It had been some time since she had last heard the fairytale. "Yes, there was. Would you like to hear the whole story again? We have time to spare before we need to head back."
His daughter gave him a knowing look. "And you want to rest your knees some more, too."
He laughed. "Ah, Sabine. Sharp as always."
She smiled at him. "Go on, then. Tell me the story."
~ a long time ago ~
As you know, Sabine, Lenora flowers are named after our distant ancestor, Princess Lenora. Legends say that she was the first leader of Clan Wren, and our family are descended directly from her line.
A long time ago, however, Princess Lenora and her people were not living on Krownest - they were fleeing a heavy conflict from another world, seeking a new home. That conflict had devastated their home world to the point that it could no longer sustain life and, fearing for the future of her clan, the Princess gathered the remaining survivors and they fled to the stars.
A few ten thousand souls were all that remained and their lives were in the young Princess' hands. She was strong, brave, and fierce - a running theme in all Clan Wren women, I've noted - but the galaxy tested her and her people to their limits.
No world would accept them. They could find no refuge anywhere. What little valuables they had taken with them were bargained away for food and water and fuel. And, with enough time passed, those began to run out.
Her people starving, homeless, and beginning to lose hope, caused the Princess to grow dispirited. One late night, after hearing the crying of her people, she called out to the stars - begging, pleading for anyone or anything to help.
And the Starboy answered.
Those born from the stars, Sabine, are special; their hearts are made from pure kyber. But they could be fickle folk, too, prone to pranks, thievery, and other mischievous acts. Dealing with them meant that one had to be careful. They were tricksters, capable of performing great feats of magick.
The Princess knew this. Making a deal with the Starboy was an act of pure desperation and could lead to disaster down the line - but her people were in need of salvation.
"I will help you, dear Princess," offered the Starboy. "I can find your people a new home. But you must offer me something in return to match the value of my talent."
"We have no valuables left to bargain with," the Princess replied. "What would you have of us?"
The Starboy thought about this for a while. He had no interest in physical possessions - but he was very lonely. There were very few of his people left; he could not recall the last time he had seen another starborne.
He realized what he desired from the Princess: companionship. Someone to stay by his side, always.
So, the Starboy made his offer. "I would ask for your friendship, in exchange for my help."
Surprised, the Princess nevertheless reached out her hand. "I accept," she said.
And henceforth, the duo journeyed together with her people amongst the stars to find a new home.
The Starboy knew that the deal struck between him and the Princess would end the moment they found a suitable planet for her people, so he sought to delay the ending as much as possible. Using his magick to keep feeding her people and fueling their ships, the Princess didn't mind - and even grew to love the Starboy, despite his antics.
The adventures they had all over the galaxy were the stuff of legend, Sabine: they saw planets made of smoke and song; met various aliens of indescribable beauty and absurdity; sailed through fields of endless ice and light. The Starboy delighted in showing the Princess and her people the endless wonders of the galaxy.
One day, they came across a pod of star whales, stuck in a vast maze of shifting star dust. With the Starboy's magick and the Princess' ingenuity, they led the lost star whales out to safety.
Grateful, they pledged to return the favor one day, should they ever ask. But, to the Starboy, they left a warning: a great Witch had arrived from the deep space beyond their galaxy and sought the Starboy for his power. Someday, they warned, the Witch would find him and destroy all he held dear in order to obtain his power.
After the star whales departed the Starboy grieved, for he knew that his time with the Princess and her people was soon nearing its end. With a heavy heart, he delayed no longer and led them to a new world - one that, in time, would be known as Krownest.
The Princess and her people were overjoyed at the sight of their new home. They thanked the Starboy for his help with celebrations of song and food. But the Starboy could not accept their gratitude, as he was too burdened with sadness at his imminent departure.
Their deal was concluded - and danger was coming. The Starboy had fallen in love with the Princess and her people. To keep them safe, he decided to leave quietly in the dead of night.
But Princess Lenora stopped him. "Do not go," she said. "Stay with us. This is your home, too."
"Our deal is finished," replied the Starboy. "I have done as requested. You have no need of me anymore. And the Witch is coming."
The Princess reached out and grasped his hand. "Then make a new deal with me. Stay with us. We will defeat this Witch together. And when we do so, you must give something to me."
"I have no personal possessions," said the Starboy, smiling. "No valuables on my person. What would you have of me?"
"Give me your heart, Starboy," replied the Princess. "And stay by my side, forevermore."
She reached out her hand. Instead, however, the Starboy gave her a hug, glad to have a companion at last.
But it was not meant to be, Sabine. For the Witch arrived the very next day and brought war with her.
Princess Lenora and her people were the finest Mandalorians the galaxy had ever seen. They fought with everything they had for three days and three nights. The surface of Krownest became battle-scarred and burned; the Witch's magick brought about an endless frost that still plagues our home to this day.
Despite the bravery of Princess Lenora and her clan, they could not win the battle. The Starboy, his heart breaking at their courage despite the overwhelming odds, concocted a final plan to trick the Witch.
On the fourth day, the Starboy offered himself up to the Witch. Eager to devour his heart and obtain the source of his power, she ripped open his chest -
Only to find it empty.
"Where is it?" she hissed at him, furious to be deprived of her prize. "Where is your heart, Starboy?"
"I have given it to another, Witch!" yelled the Starboy in response. "It will never be yours!"
The Witch howled in fury and began to reach for her magick to punish Princess Lenora and her people -
With a final effort of magick, the Starboy called to the star whales -
And they came to his side in a flash of starlight. "We have come to repay the favor," they said.
"Take this Witch back to whence she came!" said the Starboy.
"It shall be done," the star whales answered. And they surrounded the Witch, their arms reaching around her, tightening and tightening. From the ground below, the people cheered - except for Princess Lenora. She leapt into a ship and flew out to meet the Starboy, still clutched in the Witch's grasp.
"Come home with me!" she cried out. "You promised to stay with me, Starboy!"
But the Starboy looked at his beloved Princess and shook his head. "I must go and see this through, Princess. I have to make sure the Witch never comes back to hurt your people."
The star whales began to glow with a fearsome light, signaling their departure into the deep reaches beyond our galaxy. The Witch howled and struggled but could not escape their grip.
The Princess cried out one last time: "You must promise to come back. I will wait for you; do you hear me?"
The Starboy smiled at her, possibly for the last time. "I accept this deal, Princess. A part of me will always be with you, until I return."
With a final burst of dazzling light, the star whales vanished into space, leaving behind a trail of stardust. And with them, the Starboy and the Witch.
In the years to come, the Princess waited patiently for her beloved Starboy to return. His heart, given to her as per their deal, was buried on a distant mountain top to keep safe. Every night, she travelled to the spot where his heart lay and sat down, looking up at the night sky.
She watched the stars wheel endlessly above. Every now and then, one of them twinkled at her; the Princess wondered sadly if that was the Starboy, letting her know that he was still out there.
When many years had passed, and she began to lose hope, the Princess wandered up to where the Starboy's heart was buried and found a patch of beautiful flowers growing there. Upon seeing them, she made a vow: that as long as the flowers bloomed on Krownest, the love she shared with the Starboy would never die - and that one day, they would be reunited, forevermore.
~ the Princess, revisited ~
Alrich watched his daughter carefully, gauging her reaction to the story's end.
Sabine stared at the flowers, seemingly lost in thought. He chanced a glance at his chrono - the hour was growing late. They needed to head back soon.
Finally, after a few long moments, Sabine spoke. "Lenora was stupid," she remarked.
He blinked at her, shocked at her response. "What?" he asked.
Sabine stood up and wiped angrily at her legs, clearing off loose snow and dirt. "You heard me. She was stupid."
Alrich quirked an eyebrow at her. "How so?"
"She waited. Like an idiot. I wouldn't have waited."
"Ah," said Alrich, understanding dawning on him. "I see. You would have gone to find the Starboy."
Sabine reached down to the patch and plucked one of the Lenora flowers. She handed it over to Alrich, who accepted it with a nod of thanks. "Obviously. She loved him! Why wait?"
He stroked at his beard and gently placed the flower into a pouch on his belt; later, he would press it into a bookmark for Ursa. "Hmmm. You raise a fair point, Sabine."
His daughter shook her head. "I can't believe that's how the story ends."
Alrich smiled at his daughter. "That's the wonderful thing about stories, you know? When you tell it, you can decide how the story ends."
Sabine looked at him, blinking in astonishment. "Really?"
"Certainly. That's how the story was told to me. But you can change the ending, if you want." He stood up, swiping at his legs to clean them. Once finished, he beckoned to her and started walking down the mountain path leading back to home.
Sabine was quiet for the next few minutes, thinking it over. "I think I know how I want the story to end," she said as they walked.
Alrich glanced at her, curious. "Tell me, then. Tell me how your story ends."
Smiling slightly, Sabine began to speak. "One day, a wise and powerful wizard brings a map to the Princess . . ."
Epilogue (many years later)
~ the Starboy, found ~
The Noti convoy moved slowly under the bleak Peridea sky. It was a scene that Ezra Bridger had become accustomed to over the past few years but there was a significant difference to this time.
Sabine Wren, his longtime friend, had come to find him at last. After double-checking the instrument panel on the Noti hover-dome to ensure everything was working properly, he snuck another glance at Sabine just to ensure that she was actually there.
Ezra had lost count the number of times he had dreamed this exact scenario: Sabine Wren, coming to save him, like some avenging Mandalorian angel.
But it wasn't a dream this time. She was real. Her head was leaned back, eyes closed, arms crossed, boots propped up on the dome's surface - it was almost like back in the old days, lounging on the Ghost during the Rebellion.
He felt a soft smile grow on his face at the sight of her. How much he had missed her company.
Sensing his stare, Sabine popped open an eye and smiled back at him. "Thinking happy thoughts?" she asked.
"Hard not to," he replied. "They're all about you."
Her smile widened. "Ah, flattery. You're a flirt now, Ezra Bridger?"
Ezra's cheeks flushed. "Oh, well - no. Not very many people to flirt - well, talk, really with here on Peridea."
Sabine chuckled. "The Noti seem nice."
"They are," agreed Ezra. "But not exactly the most interesting species to hold a conversation with."
"Well," remarked Sabine, "it's nice to know that I'm good for something. Other than rescuing helpless Jedi."
Ezra snorted. "Oh, I've missed you."
Sabine grinned at him. "Back at you, goober."
Rolling his eyes, Ezra reached down and rummaged through his pack. After a brief moment of searching, he found what he was looking for: an old storybook.
With a grin, he plopped it on Sabine's lap. "Found this, by the way."
She let out a breath of surprise. "'Princess Lenora and the Starboy?'" she asked. "Where in the stars did you find this?"
"Thrawn had it. Long story, but I stole it from his office. Part of his weird museum of collectibles."
Sabine snorted and flipped through the pages. "It's still your favorite, right?" asked Ezra.
"Yeah," she replied softly. "Never dreamed that I'd actually meet real life star whales. Or travel to another galaxy, even."
"We've had pretty crazy lives, now that I think about it," Ezra observed.
"Yeah, no kidding," said Sabine. A pang of melancholy went through her as she read through the story; her father reading this to her, late at night, flashed vividly in her memories.
"Didn’t like the ending," said Ezra. "We never did find out if the Princess and the Starboy ever reunited."
Sabine closed the book. "They did reunite," she said. "That's how I told the story."
Ezra looked at her. "Is that so?"
She nodded. "My father told me that if you don't like the story's ending, then just change it. So that's what I did."
Ezra shook his head and smiled at her. "That's so very . . . you, Sabine."
Sabine shrugged. "Who else am I supposed to be?"
He laughed. "True. I wouldn't have it any other way."
She grinned and leaned back in her seat. "You're not getting it any other way, Ezra. I'm afraid you're stuck with me."
"Oh, good," he replied dryly. After a brief pause, he added quietly, "Thanks for finding me, Princess."
For a moment, he thought Sabine hadn't heard him. Then, just as quietly, Ezra heard her answer.
"Anything for you, Starboy."

Anyways my opinion on my mutuals. Well where do I start?
@rabid-mercenary16
Firstly, there's the 'Greyscale Jester' Rabid. One of the first people that Ive interacted on here. She's a comedic, funny, creative, and an enjoyable person to talk to in general. When I first started on here I didn't think I would get noticed with my art but I started drawing out her characters and her and Glitchy being one of the first people to like my stuff. In the beginning I was honestly happy that people were liking the stuff I posted and shared on here. She and the others are just a big reminder to me of how I matter and just a funny person to be around I really to the bottom of my heart appreciate them for that. You're an amazing person Rabid. Don't you ever forget that.
@moshieee
Secondly, there's the adhd buddy of mine Moshie. Who cannot like this lovable person. They're one of the second traditional artists that Ive interacted with on here and Ive just enjoyed interacting with them for this entire time. They're an absolute funny, creative and amazing person to talk to in general. Ever since we started to talk more we'd just be rambling about our characters and ideas for hours and I just love their personality overall and they've just been an inspiration for me to keep going. You're an amazing person Moshie. Don't you ever forget that.
@bunnybunnsowo
Thirdly, there's the fluffy bunny friend Bun. He's a funny and creative person to talk about ideas with and they're just funny in general. I haven't talked to them until I started doing stuff for the Mafia AU and when I first talked with them they seemed like a very kind and lovable person to talk to and Im just glad that Ive been able to be friends with them and talk with them. Your amazing Bun. Don't you ever forget that.
@unfunnyaceartist
Next there's the cuphead fanatic Ace. I honestly haven't talked to her as much but she's honestly a very nice and funny person. She's very creative with what she does and they are just an amazing person to talk to in general. She's a very comedic person to talk to about Cuphead and other topics about the game. You matter Ace and don't you ever forget that.
@bixell-pixell
Next there's the robotic pal Bixell. They're a pretty creative and chill person in general. She's pretty funny and creative when it comes to the stuff that they do. Ive done 3D Modeling in the past and Im glad I found another person that takes interest in modeling. Overall they're a cool and funny person to talk to and Im glad that Im able to talk to them.
@dia-smthidk
Now we have 'The Prince' Dia. He's a pretty comedic person to talk with and they're just very creative in general. I remember that they were one of the first few people Ive started to interact with and their AU and they are just a funny person to talk to. Even when the mood is brought down they always manage to persevere. You're an amazing person Dia. Don't forget that. Make sure to take care of yourself.
@lilithloves-you
Now we catch up to Lilith. I honestly never had the chance to talk to Lilith but from what Ive seen she's a pretty nice and funny person to talk to in general. Im sorry if there's barely anything here I just haven't been able to talk to ya but your a very amazing and creative individual and don't forget that.
@glitchyk
Im not sure if Glitch will see this but I will type one out for them anyways. She is honestly a funny, creative, nice, and overall just an amazing person in general. They were always that little voice of motivation that just encouraged me to continue with traditional art and were just there for me whenever I was having a bad day or down to my lowest. I honestly do miss them to the bottom of my heart and I hope they are doing well at the moment.
@neptunestoast
Lastly, we have the Blob, Neptune. Ive seen them around here a few times before but never gotten a chance to talk to them. But when they got invited to the Sona Mafia server they are just a wholesome, funny and creative person to talk to. When I first saw their art style I was shocked on how good it was and was just thinking 'Why is this individual so underrated?!?" But still Neptune your an amazing person dude. Don't forget that.
Im sorry if some of my writing seems repetitive. Im not the best writer out there but I genuinely mean it when I say that you all are amazing people and Im just happy that I got to be able to interact with ya'll.
To the bottom of my heart. Thank you guys for just liking the stuff Ive done and just being like rays of hope and inspiration throughout my time on here. I appreciate you guys. I really do.

You know, reading TIG, I never actually managed to remember other characters that matched the physical descriptions of the Hawthorne brothers to a T (outside of Aspen Leger in The Selection). That changed today. I was scrolling through Instagram, saw a post and was reminded of this guy:
Tumblr media
Know who that is? Yes, ladies, it is indeed the one and only Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, everyone's crush in RTTE and HTTYD 2 when he had that second puberty glow-up. But alas, Astrid got to him first (which is probably for the best). Anyways, enjoy this throwback to him in all his awkward, goofy, lanky, and nerdy glory at 15. Now, the million dollar question; who is his Hawthorne equivalent?
Ding ding ding! We have a winner; if you guessed Jameson, you are correct! Hiccup has brown hair and green eyes which is something Mr. Talk in Riddles to Me over here also has. However, what's also interesting to me is that the physical similarities don't stop there; they're both lean and have more musculature in their upper bodies. This means their capabilities in terms of fighting capacity calls for their quick movements and agility because they are light on their feet.
Now, they do share some personality traits as well like stubbornness, quick thinking, no self-preservation (👀), persistence, problem-solving, and wittiness. While they are both intelligent, we know that Hiccup is an inventor which would make him align more with Xander, however, when it comes to making plans, Jameson and Hiccup compare well. They seem to just know what they're doing and even if it comes with a lot of risk, they still do it. But also, I think one of the most important things to mention that I failed to bring up until now is that they both love risk, danger, thrills, and big adventuress. I mean, if you guys are confused for a second here about Hiccup's love for thrill, here:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And perhaps the biggest thing of all, their fierce protectiveness and love for loved ones. You can often see that their hearts are big and maybe they do need encouragement at times, but that helps them persevere through their challenges. Which brings me to the topic of insecurities. I would say the one that makes them feel most at a loss are feeling like they're not good enough and they need someone (Astrid and Avery) to help them back up. (Insecurities-wise, \I'd say he shares more of the same burdens with Gray.)
But yeah, there we go. I found what could be considered our animated version of Jameson for the time being. Enjoy this gif of him looking regal as a leader as I took up all your time.
Tumblr media
Anyways, sorry this was longer than expected; it was originally supposed to be just to the first gif and then it turned into an analysis because I always let myself go. Thanks for reading. Bye!

hi AO!! i would love to hear ur take on the life aspect, and maybe some of the ways it can ghost other aspects!
Certainly! The Life Aspect is very interesting. There's quite a bit to it that I feel gets misunderstood or overlooked.
Life is another aspect that I feel gets flattened down into something misunderstood, and I think this might partly be because its inverse is poorly understood. Ironically enough, I did not understand Life until I understood Doom. Where Doombound are commiserators of suffering, Lifebound are celebrators of comfort, joy, and pleasure.
From The Extended Zodiac, I pulled these keywords from the Life Aspect description. These would be the "canon" traits; they are what I adhere to when analyzing, but it should also be understood that this concept encompasses much more to do with than these keywords. Its "vibe", if you will, is much more than what is written.
TEZ Life Keywords: Healers, betterment of everyone, growth, progress, empathetic, medicinal, therapeutic, advisors, listeners, caretakers, nurturers, (passive aggressive, pushy)
The keywords I chose to represent Life are "Growth, Perseverance, Empathetic, Healing". This aspect, like all the other aspects, is inherently neutral. It is not good or bad, but has the potential to be either.
Life is about celebration, and finding the joy in being alive. It is euphoria in existence. It can be the joy children feel just going out into the world, or it can be finding a safe space and finally feeling comfortable enough to exist. It is allowing yourself to grow, acknowledging the wrongs and mistakes of yourself or others towards you and healing from them to grow. It is persevering onward into a better version of yourself, or a better version of the world for yourself and for others. Something that comes to mind are Pride Parades, in that they are a celebration of everyone present and pushing for the positive progress towards acceptance. This example will not apply to everyone, but I feel as though Life is also the euphoria of being transgender in some way and hearing your correct name and pronouns be used to refer to you.
This is why Lifebound "grow bitter when they feel their own self-care has had to be shunted aside"; they will push for the growth of not only others, but themself as well. If they are not allowed to grow because they are busy healing and helping everyone else and receiving no breaks to themself, they will most certainly become unpleasant to be around, as I'm certain most people will when their boundaries are not respected.
We can see this very much in canon with Feferi, Witch of Life (Active Changer), who repeatedly has her boundaries disrespected by Eridan, and ends up snapping at him. Feferi is also often referred to as a bubbly and excited character; she celebrates life all around her by taking care of her cuttlefish and her Horrorterror lusus equally. We don't very much get to see this with Meenah and The Condesce, who are Thieves of Life (Active Allocators), nor with Jane, who is a Maid of Life (Passive Enhancer), and I am inclined to blame it on their classes. Thieves don't understand the value of their aspect, but they lack it and fiercely want it despite that, while Maids rely on others for their aspect. Meenah and The Condesce do not understand the value of Life, but take it anyways; this is why Meenah is obsessed with money (a very surface level metaphor for Life, growing wealth, money can buy many things required to live, etc.), and why the Condesce's Alternia positively reeks of Doom; she stole all the Life from it. Jane, meanwhile, is trapped, controlled, and forced to rely on the Life others have set out for her; she doesn't get to figure out what Life means for her until much, much later.

What’s your favorite thing about Eddie?
So, so many things.
I love that he's the person I needed the most when I was in school; I was most definitely a lost sheepie and in many ways, I do feel like I'm still looking for Eddie. I was bullied for fifteen years - literally from the day I started pre-school right up until I graduated sixth form college about a decade ago - and I love that he's the person I needed back then. There's some catharsis in loving him now as I look back on my teenage self. I love the way he welcomes and accepts people, the way he meets them where they are and doesn't judge them, unless they give him a reason not to. And if that's the case, then he'll judge them before they can judge him. He's kind right up until he isn't and he gives as good as he gets in all ways. I love him for knowing when to speak up and when to put down the hatches and settle in for the ride. I love him for becoming the very person he needed when he was younger; there's a quiet strength in that. And we all know that Uncle Wayne taught him how to do that!🥺
I love his clothes, his taste in music - it's very similar to mine. Ozzy was my first love, I remember throwing absolute tantrums if mum turned off one of his songs before it finished. I have video footage of me at three years old dancing to Mr Crowley, wearing an "Ozzy" tophat and wriggling my little body as much as I could, grinning. As an adult, if Ozzy doesn't make me smile, it's a serious red flag towards the state of my mental health. I fall asleep every night listening to a Black Sabbath album (usually Master of Reality) and I will not sleep if I don't have Ozzy playing. I love that Eddie would vibe so hard with that and he and I would get to bond over Ozzy. If Eddie ever dated me, he'd have to agree to 'share' me - if he wants one more kiss, then I get one more Ozzy song before we get out of the van. Take it or leave it, Munson.😂
I love Eddie's bravery. He'll shout, swear, call it stupid, all three all at once, but he will do it anyway because it's right. He'll do it, but he's gonna let the world know he doesn't want to and I love that so much. His perseverance, his loyalty to his friends and his uncle, his ability to endure a fucking man-hunt but still being kind, still cracking jokes... his genuine want to graduate, his love of D&D, his passion and devotion, creativity, imagination, determination, compassion and emotional intelligence, his perceptiveness, his gentility, his humour, his ability to read someone with a look and know what they need from him and the way he'll give it to them if he can. His tirades and his ability to listen to an eight minute song and master playing it in just eighteen days around all the other things I just mentioned. I love his voice and the way he speaks with his hands.
I love Eddie's internal and external beauty but most of all, most of all, I love Eddie Munson because he's Eddie. My sweet angel baby.
Eddie being who he is, is everything to me. I strive every day to be someone he'd love and be proud of. He (and his dad) have genuinely stopped me from quitting university at least five times each, and that's just last semester. I am leaning and clinging and loving.💕

I was already allergic to baby advice before baby, and while I'm no longer panicky about it, I still dislike it. Post brought to you by me putting the baby to bed.
There was a lot of info on sleep training that got pushed in our direction, including a book called 'why French children don't throw food' gifted by one of my sisters in law. Basically, start early, let them cry, if you don't do it they'll never be able to fall asleep on their own.
And we ignored all that and went through months of carrying baby around in the baby sling for naps, and putting her in the stroller for naps, and pasi breastfeeding her until she fell asleep at night (for like an hour) until suddenly... We could just put her into bed and she'd fall asleep. It's great! It also happened without us doing anything. So my beef with any baby advice is still 'are you just asking us to persevere until they take another developmental leap and do the thing anyway'.

Hey-o! I am a new lurker on your wonderful blog! And now I have an au idea I would like to share with you.
This has very little plot and is mostly just vibes, but anyways.
So, at some point in the grand history of Pokemon, Arceus and the various deity pokemon saw what both humans and Pokemon were doing to each other and themselves. (In reality it was mostly the shenanigans of the deity Pokemon, but to be fair humans have caused a few problems themselves)
So they made so humans -and their Pokemon partners- could achieve some level of godhood, minor deities of a sort. The Elite Four and Champion are titles held by the strongest humans and their Pokemon teams, held through trials and tribulations that few try, and fewer survive long enough to fail. They are the most stalwart protectors against Legendary Pokemon. Gym Leaders are like elemental gods, or beings of their particular type, and act as regional gods in charge of their particular city/area, making sure things are in balance and working in order.
There are others that have reached godhood, whether by intent or accidental, and become keepers of their particular domain.
Such as Emmet and Ingo, who become twin gods of travel and trains within the Unova region. Their domains also include victory, perseverance, patience, passion, understanding and learning. (We could also go the Truth and Ideals route but that could be something later)
Now, this helps keep the world in check. Whenever Legendaries and god-like Pokemon get up to their shenanigans, there are humans who can keep them in check (or at least do damage control if things get Really Out Of Hand), and if the humans get too rambunctious or the god-humans get too power-drunk then there are both other humans and the deities themselves to keep things from going to hell in a hand-basket.
Except one day things go wrong. I imagine team Plasma manages to, somehow, seal away the Legendaries and strip the power from the human-gods, forcing them into a deep slumber. They manage to more or less rule, and things are overall terrible. While the others from outside the region would want and even try to help, there are laws that keep them from interfering to the degree they would have to if they wanted to boot out the damn plasma usurpers.
The train station and the gyms, and many locations are shut down and abandoned, become forbidden to enter.
Until, one day, you appear. Maybe you were sent with special permission to document the subway, or you found yourself homeless and use one of the subway stations as a makeshift home, or you're a little rebellious and decide this is the perfect place to hide out when you don't want to be found (whether by family, friends, work, or the law is up in the air).
You explore, and learn little by little, and clean up and document and record and see all that once was and yet is such a small part of the World That Was. You offer little prayers, and small gifts and offerings. Maybe not with Intent or true Belief, but you offer nonetheless.
You find Pokemon that have made the place home, and make friends of them (the joltik population quickly associates you with snacks, and vow to protect their supplier of sweets). They help you learn the secrets of the expansive subway system, lead to safety when you inevitably get lost, and eventually you learn to navigate it yourself. You help baby Pokemon that wandered from parents and lead them back, a few times you come across people who wandered, or fell, or sneaked in, and lead them out to safety. You learn how to work the trains, and even repair them! Well... in theory. You learn and learn and eventually come to understand.
Meanwhile, those who have slumbered here begin to stir, awaken, and watch as you come and go. Some try to scare you away at first, or keep certain secrets safe (and how odd when you listen to the little voice in your head saying 'I shouldn't go here'!). They see how kind and understanding you are, or that even if you don't understand then you try to. You learn until you do. And with every prayer and offering, you don't realise you're giving them strength, energy, power enough to influence things within their domain. Soon they'll have strength enough to take on physical forms, and they eagerly await the day they can.
So they can thank you.
So they can ask for you help.
And that's kind of all I got so far, in broad scopes of things. Depot agents, of course, are part of this, and this could be romantic or platonic to various degrees (but we know why we're here, this is gonna be romance- at least for me).
Hope you enjoyed the read! And the au idea. Until next time, toodles!
Hello there! Welcome on in! ヾ(•ω•`)o
This is a very lovely idea! I like the idea of slumbering gods, and you, the reader, being one to wake them up with hard work and kindness. Its a soft feeling (❁´◡`❁) Old gods wanting to thank you, and ask for your help restoring peace, willing to defend and protect you while doing so. They must! You are very kind and sweet, not many humans are like you, nowadays. A special human like you must be protected at all costs! Especially after you had given them strength to regain their forms! Thank you for sending this in! I hope you continue to explore this au!

tyler holt for the character list! if that's alright!
I don't see why you'd come to me for this, since you're clearly more versed in Holt language than me, but of course it's more than alright! Admittedly, I've been re-blogging this sort of thing and waiting for someone to ask me, and at last here it is! So yeah, I'm a bit thrilled.
Anyway:
My favourite thing about them You know, I've always loved this guy, but I never stopped to think about why I really like him. I guess if I had to say, it would be his relationships with his brothers, especially Dale. I've always been a sucker for familial relationships enduring through hard times, but Tyler's relationship with each member of his family is unique. And everything is made even more tragic because these relationships do not persevere throughout the hardship they all go through. No matter what, Dale dies, his body eternally lost in the destroyed motel as it goes up in flames. No matter what, Jay is scarred as a teen, only until Zoe pays him a visit, if she chooses to forgive him. But even after that, he's still alone for the rest of his life. Sharon and Tyler are together at first, but Sharon decides it's best to leave. She's either left alone, or is stuck in a life with a man who loves her, but whom she doesn't love. Tyler is now alone in jail or in a hard life where he must now work for himself, or he's dead. His relationships are all shattered. Tyler's story doesn't end well, and even though it doesn't exactly end with a big, terrible bang, it's really not a good ending. And to make things worse, he's alone. So that's a really interesting part of his character
Least favourite thing about them Tyler doesn't panic all too often, but when he does, he loses his temper easily. He gets mad and exaggerates what he really means, and gets really mean. It's annoying sometimes and sometimes tiring, but everyone has flaws and everyone has to endure their own and others' flaws.
Favourite line "This will all be over when we win. Remember that, and do your part." This can be used in so many situations, namely war. Not that war has anything to do with ADF.
brOTP Vince and Tyler. They're both so similar within their own lives, and their roles within the whole Desert Dream Motel Mistake-Massacre. They may not be bros as in friends or bros at all, but they are parallels of each other.
OTP I don't think I really have an OTP, but I don't really mind the Vince/Tyler ship.
nOTP I don't know. There's not really many ships in this small fandom. But I guess I would never ship something like Joyce/Tyler. That's a recipe for disaster.
Random headcanon I headcanon that Tyler is a very neat and organised guy.
Unpopular opinion Jay is kinda mid compared to Tyler. I have nothing against Jay, he's just not as interesting.
A song I associate with them Endless Confusion by Faisal Latif.
Favourite picture of them I saw a post of a picture of the part when Tyler was picking up the phone to call someone(we never learn who that is, but I suspect it's Shanon. After all, she shows up when she learns that everything has gone wrong, and she shows up later on in chapter 3. Plus, who else is Tyler gonna call? We don't know any friends who show up or anything remotely similar). And there was a text underneath which said, "Give me some time to think and I'll probably come up with something that sounds coherent." Or something like that. That was my favourite picture of Tyler, but honestly I don't know how to get my hands on that one, so I'll just bestow you with this picture:

I'm not sure if I've told you anything new really, but I hope you enjoy it anyways!

Star Ocean: Blue Sphere Mini Guide and Tips - Final Section
First half you can view by clicking here.
Leviabor Ruins (Part 2)
Private Action - Leviabor Ruins (Floor 320 / Right Side; Before clearing Leviabor Ruins) - Rena IN - Use Rena's Rebirth to revive some guy killed by a monster. He gives you an item based on the GB model you're playing on. GB/Super Gameboy 1 has the best prize. Note: I didn't do this, because the guide I used gave me the wrong requirements and I passed it. GBA gets an Orichalcum, so it wasn't really worth it anyway.
We can now unlock all floors. Talk to the man on the right and he'll automatically unlock all the floors on both elevators. Don't forget to check both. Make sure you get the Guiding fragments before looking for the Seal.
Go to Ava City (or, if you don't wanna look around, just teleport right to the Leviabor Ruins). Some of the shops are still there, but the buildings aren't… Lord Ava is nowhere to be found (and you still can't take his treasure darn it). 3rd door from the top of Ava's palace is the way back to Leviabor. If you check the inn where you can sleep at the bed for free, you'll also see that is where Lord Ava has taken refuge.
We already have the Fire seal from early game, so that's 1 down, 9 to go…
Water Seal - Start at the 103rd Floor. Defeat the enemies in the rooms going right, right, and up. A treasure appears with a Guiding Water fragment. Return to the beginning of the 103 Floor and go to the left, upper left this time. Defeat the Froggy to get a Blue keycard, then go up. There's a treasure with the Water Seal. Go back to the upper right side and we have to fight Titan. (Huh, he didn't appear for me… maybe I fought him earlier, I can't remember…)
Wind Seal (Rena is required for this floor.) - 114th Floor. Break the box (right, right, up) on the lower right to get the Guiding Wind fragment. Hit the switch ahead. Head up to fight a Titan. Two of Rena's Ray spells took him out easily. Press on until you see a broken floor switch. Use Rena's Rebirth on it. Before hitting this switch, go up and hit the lower right breakable box and reveal another switch. Hit that. Go left and defeat the two titans to get the Wind Seal. Go back using the teleporter on the right.
Earth Seal (Rena is required for this floor if you want the full set of Jeanne armor. Since I'm using Dias/Celine/Rena, it's useless. You should have someone with Push/Pull to avoid near soft-locking.) - 30th Floor. Match up the boxes to the spaces on the floor like you've done many times by now (you can just use Push, you don't need Pull) Go left and match up some more blocks in the upper and lower screens to open a door. Go left and break open the upper left box to get the Guiding Earth fragment. Return to the elevator room and go right this time. Keep going right, use Rena's Rebirth on the center to revive the block and finish the puzzle to get some Jeanne Armor (great for characters like Chisato). Go back to the room left of the boxes and down through the door the Guiding Earth opened up. Fight the Cooper and continue down. Go right and when you get to the room with two blocks, move them off of their spots on the floor to close the previous door and open the bottom one. Get the drive from the treasure chest (you'll need a lot of these, like 5 or 10 or something, you should have 1 so this should make 2).
So I soft-locked myself because I didn't have Pull :/ I had to Teleport out to the ship and go all the way back. To get Pull on Dias or Rena, they need Perseverance at 7. Safe to say, I could get it for Rena, but it just seemed easier to backtrack.
From the room where you moved the two blocks to make 4 match on the floor (lower/center), move them all OFF of the marks so you can go left instead. Grab the treasure for the Earth Seal.
Void Seal - Go to floor 227. First defeat the Carlas and hit the switch on the right. This is timed: Go left, go down, right, and down for a fight. Get the Gold Key and the Fairy Ring. (You don't know how happy I am for a Fairy Ring for Celine; I can spam her spells way more now!) Return to where you flipped the switch and go right. If you don't have hover, you'll have to fall into the pit and go back up. If you go right, there's some useless items. Go back to the elevator area. Go down and left, defeat the Carla, and hit the hidden switch in the block. Go down, hit both switches and return to the elevator again. Go left twice. Defeat the Carlas and get another Blue Key from a ? chest, then hit the switch and go down the lower right path. Go down and in the lower left corner in the Guiding Void. Go right, save, then go down for the boss. Go down and the Void Seal is in the chest. If you come back to large, open room where you got the Guiding Void, with Room Analysis FA, you can get Bunny Shoes. Just nab Ernest and come back.
Star Seal - Go to 216th Floor. Go left, down, left, left, down (use Gold Key you should have 227 Floor). Defeat all enemies in a room to get Blue Keycards. The Guiding Star is in a chest. Return to the elevator and go right and up to get the Star Seal.
Darkness Seal - Go to 115th Floor. Go left, get the treasure, then go back and hit the switch. Go right from here and hit another switch. Go back to the far left and up for the Guided Darkness fragment. Turn off the switch near the elevator and the one to the right, then go down for the Darkness Seal. Go right for a transport down.
Light Seal - Go to the 1st Floor. Go left for one of those Drives and then go back to the elevator area and go to the upper right for the Guided Light fragment. Take the teleporter down and return to the 1st floor. Go right, down, and right to find the switch puzzle room. It's confusing to explain, so I won't list the answer here. Took me about ten minutes to figure out. Go down, right, and fight the boss. Take the Light Seal and Fairy Source and go back down with the teleporter.
We're almost done… I stopped here to use the 2k SP I amassed on Celine and finally maxed out her TECH (I didn't get Lezard Techno, though, which sucked. Too many points in the opposite branch, I think.)
Bolt Seal - B12th Floor. Go down and move the block. Go right and get a Copper Key. Go left, left, up, right and open the door with the key. Go straight up and move the block. Go down and right a let the floodgates open. Swim down and get the chest you couldn't reach before for the Guided Bolt fragment. Go left and left and the fragment will open the door on the lower left of the map. Go through. The Bolt Seal is in the chest. Go to the elevator and switch floors then return to B12. Move the block thats downward near where the Seal was, then activate the water. Go grab the drive from the seal room. Finally, go and come back again, this time just let the water go first thing so it goes to B13.
Minus Seal - B13th Floor. Put all the blocks in the spaces and grab the drive from the center and all the stones in the other chests. Go down and swim to the two blue chests, one has a Platinum Key. Go back to the top side and right, you'll see the area in the screenshot, put the drives you've collected there.
Tumblr media
This drains the water. Use the Platinum Key on the lower left door. Go to the far right and put the green block on the green glowing space, then swim back to where we started. If you go up and all the way right, there's a blue chest with the Guiding Minus fragment. Go back to the Platinum Key door and go down until you're in a submerged room with platforms. You can swim, but it doesn't lead anywhere. You can jump, but it is a major pain in the ass. I went and nabbed Precis (switched for Rena) to use Hover to get through this section. Hover to the far left for a boss fight. He went down with 2 Thunderbolts and a Thunderstorm for me. Grab the chest for the Minus Seal. Use a bomb on the back wall and you'll need Pull to move the block (you can then grab 2 stones, nothing great so dont worry if you miss this) and then return to the boss room and go through the transport.
The Final Floor! - 320th Floor -
Put all the Seals in place and face the Chimera boss that Rival sics on you. 6 Thunderbolts took him out. When Celine gets fatigued, switch to Rena to keep Dias alive. Once Chimera is dead, this opens Grand Knott (finally). Go up to enter it, save.
We'll be getting some really good armor soon, so don't waste too many resources just yet. Heal up/restock and let's tackle the lower level of Grand Knott…
Grand Knott (lower layer) Go up and Rival says she'll be waiting on the fourth floor. (The number 4 is associated with death in Japan, so we all know what she means by that…)
Make sure you've saved/healed (Grand Knott is added to the transporter) and go face the boss, El Dorado. Just use a few Thunderbolts and keep your distance. Bless on Dias helps as well. This annoying gold BlackDragonFiendWannabe will be a common enemy soon... :(
Now, to get the treasure we need someone with Room Analysis, so we may have to lose Rena for a bit and bring Ernest. To the right is a Mithril. The left room has a whip for Ernest and I think you can get through it with his Whip ability, but I grabbed Precis to see what the item was (you need both, because you need Room Analysis for the treasure). After this go grab Celine and Rena again (you'll need either Precis or Rena for some items coming up).
Go up from the entrance past the boss room and go left, up, and right to reach a room with some treasure (very useful curatives), then go left and left again (you may have to clear a room of enemies to open a door) to get back to the central area. Go right, up, and left for more treasure (a weapon for Precis.. fun). Now go right, down, right, down, up and you'll see stairs. Go to Floor 2.
Floor 2 - Ignore the panel, go up, left a bit, and up. Grab the treasure (the Mithril Dress isn't better than anything you currently should have so you can skip this step if you want) and then go back to the panel and click it. Go straight up to the 3rd Floor.
Floor 3 - Push the brick onto the circle and the top area will open. Go up, defeat the Golds (do not let them get initiative; Celine's Magic Shot is great for this) and grab the Purple Keycard. Go back to the entrance, move the block off the circle, and go right and up (left is a dead end). On the left side of blocks, break the top right block for the treasure (weapon for Ashton). There are more El Dorados in some of the blocks, so be careful.
Spell - Rena sparked Light Cross from using Ray. :)
Go down and right and down and use Rena's Rebirth on the bridge. Put the block on the space and grab the treasure (Leon weapon) from the right room.
NOTE: There's Seraphic armor in the top hall, so be sure to explore there too. You do not want to pass on this armor. If you've played SO2, you know how powerful it is. Put the Seraphic Guard and Garb on Dias, since he's our meat-shield.
Go back to the bridge and down. It's hard to tell but there's a room with a glowing panel on the upper right. Flip the switch (change the arrow). You'll arrive on the fourth floor. Remember, this is where Rival said she's waiting for us, but we need the Prism Key from the 5th Floor…
Welcome to dungeon maze Hell. Best part is, this is gonna show up in the top half of Grand Knott, too.
Spell - During a battle, using Starlight, Celine sparked Lost Mental (Mind Absorber). Using Ray, Celine sparked Southern Cross (finally~)
Tumblr media
I wandered around for 3 hours trying to get elevators to where I needed them. Familiarize yourself with the layout before you do anything.
Tumblr media
Fuck this room and everything it represents. What a horrible fucking place to just punish you for learning the game. These little jerks respawn constantly.
There's a series of rooms and the elevators move between the floors. Just follow this guide: Top - A, Right/Middle - B, Right/Bottom - C, Left - D <-- these are the elevators Ride D up. Ride B down. Ride A up. Ride D down. Go right and down for a green dragon enemy. He gives 99 SP per fight and can be one shot killed by Celine's Southern Cross. Go left and take the elevator to Floor 3, then save and go up.
You're truly on the 4th Floor now. Rival lays await in the room ahead. Get the Prism Key from the left side and a Robe of Ishtar for Rena on the left (and Elven Boots too, if you want them). You shouldn't need help with these puzzles, considering they put them on the back of cereal boxes and restaurant playmats… You may even consider grinding that green dragon for SP. When ready go save before going through the door.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rival is gonna give a whopping 600 SP, so use an Extension Card at the start of the battle! For the fight itself, remember this isn't the final battle… So, don't go ham on using your best stuff yet. Besides, two blasts from Celine's Southern Cross decimated her. I even had time to prep with Anti and Bless, because I went in expecting the worst. :p In fact, using Bless, I sparked Angel Feather!! Even better!
Tumblr media
Nice to have some easy levels/fights after that fucking slog that was Grand Knott's lower layer… Rival shows up for real and reveals we defeated a clone. She tries to kill us, but the Edifians intefere and teleport us out.
Tumblr media
Aqua City Revisited The Edifian leaders say Rival went to the orbital elevator, Ex Trokia. It's some form of a structure that exists on the planet underwater and can communicate with space (where Rival piloted Grand Knott). The Edifians take you there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Heal. Restock. Grind a bit in Grand Knott if you want. Make sure you save/have some Extension Cards for the boss battles ahead (make them with Art). When you're ready take the upper left door in Aqua City (the one that previously and can be changed back to Nusa Beach, if you want)
Tumblr media
Looks straight out of Alien, huh?
Ex Trokia Trade Rena out for Precis. Floor 2 - You start on 2F. On the left, go left again for treasure. On the right, go right for treasure. Once done, go drop Precis for Rena (the best item was the Shield Earrings, put those on a mage if you need to take less damage) and come back, go back to the right and this time go up (you can jump the 2 gaps). You'll find a ladder to F1. Go down and right and blow up the lower right wall with a bomb. Toss the Mithril Helm on Dias and go back where you blew up the wall and head up.
Floor 1 - On the left, light up the 6 switches before the lights go out. Study duration and use Dias' Dash to get them all. On the right side press the blocks in this order or you'll get attacked: low right, upper left, upper right, lower left. In the center/up room, align the blocks in a cross/plus shape.
Floor 3 - Go up to Floor 3. Go left and flip the lever and go up and activate the console. Return to the beginning of the floor and go right and up for the stairs. If you hit the switches in the room, they open doors. The only item is a Mithril, so go up and right to the 6th Floor. Don't bother with the elevator path on the left; it's a dead end with no items.
Floor 6 - From the stairs go: up, up, up, left, save, and through the door. All the items are just common junk, so don't bother. There's a boss fight coming so heal up and launch the Linear Shuttle to the Metro.
Tumblr media
Nu, one of Rival's flunkies, attacks. I used Angel Feather on Dias, then kept my distance as much/often as possible to give time to cast Southern Cross. His first form goes down in 4-5 casts. The second form will take double that. Your biggest issue for the second form is avoiding stamina fatigue and keeping everyone alive. Switch who you're controlling if you need to. Be patient and you'll win quickly. He gives 440 SP, so it's worth using an Extension Card (I forgot)…
Now we're in some kind of colony. They don't register to the teleporter… There's a tricky jump on the upper right. Save, then stand on the metal bar on the right and leap up. Go left, up, grab the ? treasure, and continue right and up. Go to the next shuttle and the next colony (Norn colony).
Go up and right. Defeat the dragon guys to open the doors again. Go up (right is nothing and the enemies do respawn). Go to the next shuttle / Metro colony. Go up for a place to heal for free. To the right of the beds is a wall to bomb. You get one of each Check (Stone ect) and some Talismans. Go back to the main area and go right.
There's a series of rooms here with blue crests on the floor. Kill the enemies WITHOUT destroying the boxes. When you put them over the crests the block in the center becomes a treasure (usually its the best weapon in the game outside Blue Sphere crafting or Cave of Trials, so they are well worth it!) I think if you mess up you can go back to your ship, but you can't go to the colonies, so you'd have to backtrack… Save carefully (I missed Precis' weapon) If you go up you'll find an elevator that takes you to the final city, Cosmo City, so there may be hope yet to complete the colony…
Of course, we have to go through a little road to the city. Go left to heal/save. Go up through the enemies to face a boss, Rival's other flunky, Diablo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Use an Extension Card first thing in the fight. Use Celine's Southern Cross and Rena's Light Cross to take him out fairly quickly (he also doesn't have a second form and he isn't as aggressive as the other guy was).
Cosmo City Enter Cosmo City. There's a blue Froggy enemy, but he isn't hostile. All the little robots are talking about their Master away on a trip and are obscessed with cleaning. It's kinda sad :( Make sure you upgrade your main trios weapons (I guess the upgrades in the dungeon weren't as good? Or the same?) Anyway, they're pretty pricey. If you go to the Item Shop they have higher-grade food ingredients, so you could cook with those or use anything you have. Personally, I sold gold bars and all the Bunny statues and got just enough Fol for weapons, a Duel Helm for Dias, some accessories, and restocked my usual consumables.
Go back to the ship to heal for free and feel free to pick some herbs in Cosmo with Bowman if you want. Also, make sure to switch out Dias and talk to him for his ultimate weapon. (Private Action) Fun fact, he says he got it from Gamgee! Nice!
Speaking of… How do we get the Blue Spheres for the Ultimate Weapons?!
Item Creation - Alchemy / Blue Sphere Make sure skill is maxed Make sure you have the Lezard Flask This works for everyone except Dias, Chisato, and one other (I need to look this up again) who obtain through Psychometry and NOT Blue Sphere. Make Blue Sphere, have the ultimate weapon, and bring it to the man in Knott…
You need to make connections between the elements. Blue Sphere needs: Earth (4), Water (6), Fire (4), and Wind (4 Minimum, 6 Max). Connections are when the gems connect, like this: o-o-o = 2 connections o-o-o-o =3 connections
My wife and I tried for a long time… it's basically impossible. On the bright side, iron is cheap and using alchemy can be a great way to make money for late-game. The only other way to get Blue Spheres is to play the Connect feature, which isn't usable for English. :( My only idea is to load up my save in a GB and go grab that supposed free one, so let's try that…
Tumblr media
Go to the door behind Rival's old base in Knott and find the tower with the breakable wall (remember, the wall is only breakable in Mobile version, which is lost media… So the GB version (Black and White) makes a hole you can pass through)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thank. God. Using my emulator to change the settings worked (make sure it's set to Gameboy, Black and White) or the door won't appear. So, we have 1 free Blue Sphere. Let's take it to the man in Knott…
Tumblr media
Okay, I can confirm there is none for Dias, Ashton, or Chisato, so don't bother. We may as well make Celine hers. So choose 'Rod' from the list. You'll get the Volcanic Mage Rod. Now, you may notice it's like the other ultimate weapons (which, btw, Dias, Ashton, and Chisato give through their Private Actions). All the stats are 0. That's not quite the case!
How do the Ultimate Weapons work?
Here is how they work: ATK = Stat Base + STR divided by 2, Stat Base + HIT = Dexterity divided by 4, Stat base + MAG = INT divided by 2
So, Celine's base INT right now in my file is 304, giving this weapon an +INT of 152, bringing the total MAG/INT to a powerful 456! You can see the stat change in the Status Menu.
In comparison, though, there are the Cave of Trials weapons. Celine's best CoT weapon is the Forbidden Maze (not sure of the ROM translation, this is from the guide) which only has an INT of 100… There is also that early dungeon weapon based on total playtime, but it seems a pain to calculate. If you wanna go grab that and give it a shot, go for it! (I mentioned it early on in the guide.)
Don't get confused by the 0 change to Dias' STR, his ATK power goes way up! :)
In conclusion, the Blue Sphere is worth it.
Skills - More Tips A character is maxed/can't learn anymore skills when the skill level reaches 350. You REALLY need to not level the opposite branch at all. I did this for Dias and he learned Awakening, but Celine had too many points in Battle and did not learn Lezard Techno or Lost Magic.
Item Creation - Psychometry From what I gather, if Dias learned Awakening, then he just needs Radio Waves (Sense Lv 1 Skill) and Religious Studies (Theology) (Int level 1 skill) also to unlock Psychometry.
I'm not going to touch on it too heavily, but the object of the game will let you use up the ultimate weapon to unlock the ultimate skill (SAVE before). I think if you succeed / luck you can keep the weapon AND learn the skill. Theology seems to be a late INT skill, and I haven't maxed Battle yet… I will update if I manage to train enough, as having another skill would be great, but not at the loss of the weapon…
Late-Game Levelling (before Cave of Trials) I want to make more Extend Cards and go fight those green dragons that give 99 SP each, since they would give 198 SP each fight and they go down in one hit of Celine's Thunderstorm…
Tumblr media
Item Creation - Art (Extend Card) First, we need Extend Cards, so we need Art. Celine should have it near max. Buy Magical Canvas from Mile Ruins' Shop. Save. To get Extend Card, you need red paint in the center of the image (each different item requires different colors/placements). If you have trouble affording the Magical Canvas, sell any paintings or cards you don't want, food, or stones made with Alchemy.
If you don't get red paint, don't worry. Just stay nearest to the center as you can and you can still get an Extend Card. If you have another color but already have red in the center, you can hold the brush off of the canvas as well. My advice is to just keep all paint towards the center by lightly tapping opposite the direction the paint brush moves.
Once you have 15, go to Ex Trokia (3F) and fight the green dragon enemies. I know you can use Rena's Rebirth to revive monsters, too, but an easier way is to get to the 4F stairs and go back down to respawn the dragons in the rooms. Once you enter a room, wait a second and use Celine's Magic Shot FA for initiative. Get some distance in the fight, have Rena use the Extend Card, and then cast Southern Cross for easy one-hit wins.
Also, while leveling Dias, I learned the skill he needed for Pull, which is Mental at level 7 (it's a Battle Skill). Also, once he got the Level 4 Skill Combination the AI was doing 4 hit combos and taking down the dragons itself.
I am hoping to max Dias, but I don't wanna go forever training. I'm already at 40 hours playtime. Heal/stock/save, maybe try to make some more armor if you want, then let's go complete this game!
Grand Knott (upper layer) The transporters in the first area with the escalators all lead to the bottom. Bring a few bombs.
Go up the right escalator 4 times, then take the left path for a treasure. Keep going up from there.
Tumblr media
There's a bomb wall on the right. I put the Mirage Robe on Celine for the extra evasion, since she's middle spot. Don't bother with the escalators for now (left ones are an enemy filled dead end, right leads up). Go left and then go through the door with the guard.
Here's the damn elevator puzzle again. Go up twice, take the elevator. Go right, down, down, left, down / out the door, down the escalator, left and through the door again. Go left and ride the elevator. Go right, down / out the door, up the escalator, and through the door. On the right there is a dead end with a weapon for Precis. From the entrance go left and up. If you want Sylvan armors (not useful for Dias/Cel/Rena), ride the elevator. Grab the treasure (be careful of the red dragon, we're back to OKO enemies boys… I just ran) and go back down the elevator. Go right, up, left, up, right, up, left. Solve the maze to get to the upper/right side, go up the stairs and get one of the God Rings for the CoT.
Tumblr media
Go back down to the maze and solve to go up. Rival greets us and welcomes us to the Grand Knott Core.
Grand Knott (Core) Use Jump to grab the Philosopher's Stone from the chest, then teleport back to your ship real quick.
Tumblr media
Private Action - OUT: Celine - Spaceship - Gain Field Action / FA Teleport by speaking with her outside the ship.
Prepare now. By the end of the dungeon, I did learn Psychometry (leveled Sense and Battle to full, then learned Knowledge until I got Theology!)
You'll need Teleport or Hover to get through easiest. The main enemy here is that red dragon, so it's not going to be a cakewalk… There's a little bit of dungeon to explore (best items are Wizard's Mesh on the far bottom right and the Oberon Knife (towards the top left, you'll need Teleport or Whip to reach it), but I'll provide the most direct path to Rival / Final Boss: Right, up, (Repair the bridge with Rena's FA Rebirth), up, left, up, up, up, right, right, right, across the gap with the poles (use Teleport or Ernest Whip), go all the way left, up, right, and you should see an opening going up. Save!!! The final boss is on the other side!!!
SAVE
I equipped Dias with the Tri-Emblem. Celine removed Star Necklace for a Resist Ring.
Final Boss Rival
Tumblr media
She shifts between four forms. You must defeat a form in 30 seconds to kill it. If you only damage it and she shifts, the form fully heals.
Tumblr media
The mecha goes down pretty quick between Dias' attacks and Celine's Southern Cross. The demon only takes three Southern Cross to kill. The wizard takes a long time casting, so using spells/attacks it should go down quickly. Make sure if you're controlling Dias to stay up on her, she likes to back up. Lenneth form is the worst one, mostly vunerable to physical attacks; if you can hit her. Use Angel Feather and any support items (Mental Pot on Celine, a Speed increase for Dias). After I did this Dias finally took her out fairly quickly. The normal form of Rival is cake and goes down super quick. You should see it briefly at the beginning of the fight and again at the end.
Tumblr media
Rival, defeated, explains she is a human created by Edifice, a master computer from another world (Mother Brain?) It's goal is to never let humanity evolve too far and erase it every time it advances. Rival also explains that she wanted to defeat Edifice, but isn't able to, so she summoned the SO2 group to do so.
Tumblr media
Rival gives her goodbyes and you go on to face Edifice. Don't worry about the fight; Dias took it out in like 3 hits.
Tumblr media
Looks like a FNAF endoskeleton D:
Mother Brain explodes and you escape. Congrats to us all, for finally completing the main story of Blue Sphere! :)
ENDING - SPOILERS (Note: There are not multiple endings, but there is a post game.)
Okay, shitty new Tumblr only allows 30 images per post, so PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR THE ENDING / FINAL THOUGHTS POST. (This is ridiculous.)

so I started reading The Joiner King, and while the writing is a lot better than I anticipated (sorry Troy Denning), the plot is making me about as grouchy as the synopsis did. Don't wanna get into exactly why until I've given the entire book a fair shake, so stay tuned.
Regardless of where the story goes, though, we persevere, for the sake of our sacred Bug Lore.
I did go in having read some of the spoilers posted by tumblr user deathcupcake. One of those was that this book predates Joiners (of the humanoid variety, anyway) being visually obvious in their all-black eyes. That's a SWTOR invention. That there isn't a way to visually distinguish between Joiners and un-Joined members of their species is pretty plot-significant, because it initially obscures the nature of the Kind and the Joining to our normie protags. (For the uninitiated, those protags are Luke, Han, Leia, and their EU!spouses/offspring/allies.) The first indication the Forcies in the group get about the hive mind is a feeling; there is this great "murky" presence in the Force that seems to fill the nests they enter, and they can feel it in the minds of the Joiners they attempt to probe. When Luke tries to investigate the mind of a Joiner he encounters, he senses her individual self in addition to the hive mind; but the Kind sense his presence in there and shove him out before he can learn anything. I don't know if that's a thing Killiks could do since time immemorial, or due to the influence of A Character I'm Avoiding Discussing Just Yet, but I found it pretty cool. But because the characters clock the Joiners by mostly Vibes, and it's harder to communicate Vibes in an interactive visual medium, the SWTOR devs went with the black eyes and some subtle direction for the VAs. Neither approach is better or worse, and both work gorgeously for their respective mediums. The next thing I want to talk about are the insights the book provides on the process of joining, but I'm getting sleepy and this is getting long, so I'm gonna make that its own post, probably. Stay tuned <3

4, 7, and 13 for the lads, please!
Answers under cut!!
4. When scared, does your OC fight, flee, freeze or fawn?
Wuld: He freezes. Fawning doesn't work for him, because it's not easy to ingratiate himself to someone already intent on killing him—because that's what scares him. (There have been two alternative circumstances aside from what Loezia puts him through where Wuld has been scared: once by the wolf howls in Yaewur, once when that birch Fucked Him Up).
It would make sense for him to flee, and I think he would as a first resort if he hadn't been a slave for the majority of his life. Where was he supposed to escape to, and how? It's baked into him.
Fighting is not an option because his enemies are almost always in greater number.
So he freezes, and he tries to grasp the situation as best as he can, and then, if he sees an avenue, he'll use one of the other options. Sometimes he fawns in the only way he's capable in that moment. Sometimes he flees after he gets his brain in gear. He might fight.
Loezia: I'm trying to recall if Loezia has ever been personally scared. He's been scared for others before, but almost never himself. If we're branching out, his typical response to, say, confrontation or hatred is to fawn in some way, which we've seen primarily in Geran, wherein he's trying to defuse someone else's discomfort by agreeing, or disengaging, or whatever else he can do to get out of the situation. He usually does this in the least offensive manner possible, unless he's up against a teenager, in which case he acts a little different.
But if we're talking in hypotheticals . . . Like what Loezia would do if he were scared in any given situation, I think he would fight. Most of all because he's drilled and trained for it to be reflex. If that doesn't work he'd fawn. Fawning is usually a follow-up if one of the other three doesn't work, anyway.
7. What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?
I don't know if I have a different answer for Loezia with this one, unless we were to talk about how the plot so far has changed him.
Wuld: He's become transparent, whereas before he was almost entirely opaque. I had an understanding of his concrete essentials, but he was impenetrable at first on the fine details. I didn't know he was obsessed with Loezia until a good few chapters in, for instance. He gave me a lot of grief. At this point, though, I've got his code thoroughly cracked and have for a long time. Some characters are just tougher to parse than others.
13. If you met your OC, would the two of you get along?
Wuld: If we're strangers, ngl I think, like any normal Earth-bound person, he would freak me the fuck out. Reality is a totally different realm from fiction, and I think there are pretty clear tells between cosplay and "those are real appendages." Luckily, I think my reaction to fear is freezing, which is a lot easier for him to handle, and not at all threatening to him. Not unless it turns into something different, and I am not the kind of person to attack a creature with giant wings.
After that initial moment, and given the excuse to attempt getting along . . . He's not very forthcoming, but I think I'd have the earnest curiosity that makes Loezia so disarming to him, so I think he'd prefer me to other people. Whether he would let me close, and whether I would be able to handle how he lashes out and twists language in that process is a different matter entirely. I think we'd get along in the sense that he wouldn't hate me, but I would not be able to weather what Loezia is managing with admirable perseverance and gentleness.
Loezia: No. Or rather, I think sans any barriers, yes, but there are barriers, so no. Because he has a unique dread of allowing people close, he does not want to open himself up to people, and I am not the kind of person to force myself on others—which is kind of the only avenue through which someone might otherwise get to know his thoughts—no, I don't think we would . . . well. Okay, see, we would get along in the sense that I would leave him alone. We would not get along in the sense that we could carry a conversation.
Loezia and Wuld are complete anomalies to each other in their ability to get under one another's skin (and, in Loezia's case to Wuld, stay there). Wuld's easier to disarm so long as you're kind. Loezia, on the other hand, is resistant to all things, and I am just not pushy enough to get through to him and inflict the agony of intimacy.

mental diet and what it is eaten with and difficulties in following it. 💗
let's first abstract and take the position of an observer, consider the situation under a microscope.
"thoughts are the basis of manifestation." It certainly sounds impressive and even a little scary. but what are your thoughts?
many of us consider thoughts as a tool for analyzing the surrounding reality, therefore we unwittingly find ourselves in the position of a victim of the circumstances of this very reality (3d). how about reconsidering your attitude to your own thoughts and stop letting them control you when the power is in your outer self, your will, and not in consciousness with its obsessive thoughts?
Let's generalize that the main tool for changing both realities is your thoughts. they are a tool with which you adjust the current parameters of your material world. re-read the last sentence. and any instrument can be mastered.
thoughts don't manifest on their own until you give them power (intention in the case of conscious manifestation). once you have decided that it will show up anyway, whatever your desire is, as long as you persist in it (=until you change your mind or get bored). even with a poor mental diet, it will manifest itself, however, such a manifestation will take years. failure is impossible, you can just stop persisting.
persisting in a new story ("life at the end", feeling that what you want is already there) you do not deceive yourself. the fact is that you dictate your conditions with your thoughts (=affirmations), set the settings for your material world.
from this point of view, it is even easier to look at live in the end. to any manifest method.
you do not just think thoughts, analyze the situation, from now on you "tune" your reality - this is how the law works. you correct yourself and calmly continue to persevere, knowing that sooner or later you will get what you want in any case, under any circumstances. the stricter the mental diet, the sooner you will see results)
your will, your momentary desire, supported by a firm decision to realize it, are higher than your consciousness, the subconscious, the unconscious, and even more so your thoughts. because you control them, you set the conditions, communicate your will to the mind, as if the boss signs an order or order to subordinates, only you use affirmations. you control thoughts, not vice versa.
thoughts are just the language you speak to your consciousness. you can think them, you can not think, you can change their direction - it's all your will. remind yourself more often that with your thoughts you convey your will to the subordinate - consciousness, you are not in the position of asking, you are the leader.💅🏻

did someone already request the last tarot reading? i imagine someone did so no problem but... if not, well, id love to sjsksksjskj
Sorry for the delay! Those painkillers really knocked me on my ass. lmao
But no, you're just in time! You get the last reading. :)
I ended up just grabbing a random deck out of the box for this one, and ended up with the Modern Witch Tarot Deck. This is one that I'm a little conflicted on, if we're being honest. There's so much to love about this deck, and for the most part I love the art and design choices... But it's always a punch in the gut when a project is specifically aiming to be as inclusive as possible, it explicitly says it wants to make people feel seen and empowered, people who are not usually featured in these decks... but then it does not include disabled people. It has a way of making me feel even more lonely than when the mainstream ignores us, y'know? (Especially because tarot decks tend to have dozens of seated figures, too... A single wheelchair would have been so easy to incorporate...)
I probably wouldn't have bought this deck if I'd realized, honestly. (I actually thought that The High Priestess was disabled, but once I got the deck in hand realized that it was specifically stated to be a moon in the booklet, not a wheel.) But... nevertheless, I don't believe in throwing the baby out with the bathwater, and I do still love the things they did choose to put in.
So uh anyway, mini rant aside, let's crack in.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hmm.
This, I think, is a story of struggle.
The Seven of Pentacles and the Seven of Wands are both cards of stubborn perseverance, but very different kinds.
The Seven of Pentacles is about diligence. It's about making small investments now that will pay off in the future. It's about making small gains every day. It's about watering a seed for years until you've got an entire tree. And typically, this card coming up means that all that effort is about to pay off.
That said, the Devil card is next, and in this case, the devil is you. It's a card of temptation and luxury and materialism and indulgence. It's a card of addiction. It's in some ways the polar opposite of the Seven of Pentacles, I'd say. It's about instant gratification and losing sight of your long-term goals (and occasionally your moral compass) because you're after something brief and hedonistic that will make you happy now.
Finally, we have the Seven of Wands, which is a card about persevering in the face of opposition. This is a card that usually comes up when you've achieved something (or are about to) and you need to protect your turf, so to speak. Others want a piece of what you have, or they want to tear you down for their own benefit, and you need to protect the progress you've made.
In this case, though... with all three of these cards together, I think the Seven of Wands is a little different than usual. This is usually a card about protecting your gains from outside forces, but I think in this case, this might actually be cautioning you against giving into yourself and some of your baser desires. It feels like you've been building up to something good for a long time. You've put a lot of time, effort, and potentially resources into achieving this goal and building the life that you currently have. Don't throw it all away for something that'll feel good for a minute!
Personally, I don't believe in austerity. I don't think it's good to deprive yourself of everything because you're trying to be strong or frugal or "good". I think it's important to spoil yourself a little. That said, it is possible to go too far, especially if things start to stray into addiction or you're spending/giving up more than you should.
Moderation in all things, friend! Don't deprive yourself, but don't give up everything you've spent so long building, either!
