I love this! Thank you for sending this my way. There are many things that I'm grateful for/that make my happy, but some of them include:

My family -my puppy Bear (well he's nearly 3 but he'll always be our baby lol) and my mom (despite our ups and downs, we always have each other's backs).

One of my best friends (she's an Aries, a beloved and fellow fire sign) -we met on our first day of class in our Women's and Gender Studies class over a decade ago (it was meant to be!). I met up with her a few months ago, and I took some photos:

Reading -I love reading so much. I'm interested in all kinds of genres (creative fiction and non-fiction to feminist texts of course). I also really like Danmei novels. I've read Heaven Official's Blessing and The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation (MDZS is a happy rabbit hole lol I've watched the animations and live action too). I'm currently reading a heavy political-based one called Qiang Jin Jiu. Thus reading/spending time leisurely like this/delving into a story makes me happy.

Community makes me really happy. I know that sounds a bit vague? But support in our communities/for each other. I wish I had more connections to the people I met at the Gender and Sexuality resource centre I used to go to back in University where I met many people. Just being able to have those safe spaces/to find a place to connect with people is truly comforting. I am also happy for the community I have found here -I am grateful to everyone that I've met in this blog universe, and for just everyone here -thank you always.

And lastly, listening to music -it's a huge part of my life. It's my solace, something that inspires me when I'm writing, and also helps me cope/manage my anxiety when things get a little or a lot overwhelming. I have an eclectic music taste, and I have and will continue to listen to many genres. One of my favourite songs right now is "Monsters In My Mind" by Cloudy June.

And Aquarius, a zodiac sign ruled by Uranus and is often associated with being a rebel and all that stuff makes the parent very untraditional and yeah, LAN ZHAN DAD WAS THE MOST UNTRADITIONAL PERSON I HAVE SEEN IN MDZS UNIVERSE. This dude was like "yeah, I fallen in love you and so even though, you have murder my teacher. I will marry you because I love you and to protect you as well then I will lock myself in seclusion because obviously, I gotta punish myself". He went against the Lan clan rules for his wife and this dude was the sect leader of Gusu Lan and brother of Lan Qiren, the most Lan like Lan.

I honestly do think that Lan Xichen have a Libra mars like this dude radiates Libra energy so much.

Killua from HunterxHunter radiates Scorpio energy so much

I think Gon dad from HunterxHunter is a Sagittarius. Like he like to learn and explore the world, which a sag symbolises.

Last Movie: The Old Guard. I sometimes skim movies but this is one of the few times I was actually interested in a story from start to end. Yay!

Last show: I may have started watching episodes of Sonny With a Chancre because I know barely anything about the characters but ship them already? I blame Chad. He’s hilarious.

What do I post: things I find funny or interesting, plus whatever fandom nonsense comes across my dash there is no rhyme or reason to this blog but there ARE tags!

Other blogs: uh. I have a sideblog with no followers and into which I try to reblog all the chain memes with bad consequences (you know, the reblog this OR ELSE stuff) that come across my dash. Does that count? I have a goodreads review-based blog (ish) too. but i don’t think that qualifies either.

Do I get asks: lol no. I mostly just come here to reblog stuff. I keep planning to give myself a schedule for minimum original posts per month, but I mostly get distracted by all the shinies.

Why I chose this url: It’s a reference to Discworld, mostly because widdershins is a word I will associate with the series forever for no greater reason than having seen it for the first time in The Colour of Magic.

Top three fictional universes I’d like to live in: I’m really not that interested in running for my life from antagonists/corporations but there are a few space colonies that seem like good places to live because universal basic income and all that stuff. Planet Preservation from the Murderbot Diaries sounds pretty chill. I USED to reply to this message with Beta Colony (Vorkosigan Saga) but that was before I knew about the whole forced mental conditioning thing. No other rational options come to mind. Maybe I can visit other places? Idek.
