if you haven’t seen, i ran a poll on my account for what type of personality wally should have and the option that won was, and i quote, “normal wally but… just a little messed up and obsessive.”

so i guess this is like?? mildly yandere wally? haha i’m not sure.. he slowly gets slightly more deranged as this goes on,,

using the small font because these always turn out really long 😭

Activities - “What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?”

— wally isn’t too picky when it comes to hanging out. he’d honestly be content just sitting in silence with you!

in such a small neighborhood, everything is just a few minutes away! it’s not uncommon for you two to take walks around the neighborhood, maybe stopping at howdys shop for snacks before spending the afternoon sitting in a flower-filled field with books and arts and crafts material.

maybe you two could teach each other little crafts you’ve learned over the years!! friendship bracelets, origami, crochet, whatever!!

Beauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?

— you’re just such a great friend to him! so caring and kind to him… he always feels calm whenever you’re around, just because of how loving you are!!

most of his uncertainties or insecurities just vanishes whenever he’s with you.. no one else ever could ever make him feel so special! it’s amazing!!!!

Comfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc?

— wally has a hard time picking up on your feelings if you don’t straight up tell him that you’re upset. however, if you’re ever crying or upset, he’d try his best to comfort you!

his go-to comfort methods are usually things that make him happy or calm him down. something like singing a song that barnaby has sung to him before or drawing happy memories to distract you from whatever is making you upset!

he tends to explain to you that he would never make you feel as bad as you do right now. he’s the only one here to comfort you! no one else cares that you’re upset, but he does!! because he loves you!!! :)

Dreams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

— wally dreams of a calm, domestic future with you! he loves his neighborhood and home very dearly, and i don’t see him wanting to move anytime soon (he has no reason to!), but he really can’t wait for you to permanently move in with him! sure, he keeps you at his house for as long as you’re willing to stay, but you still leave him at the end of the day!!!!

home is one of his friends too, and he would never abandon a friend! so hopefully you can get used to living inside of a sentient house.. (no matter how much home scares you)

other than that though, i don’t see him wanting to change too much? you two are already so happy together, so why would anything need to change? all you really need is eachother anyways!!!!

Equal - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

— i think that he thinks you two are equal. i mean, he tries to listen to you, but sometimes you just need his help!!! he believes that a relationship should be built on respect and understanding! dont you respect him? :(

you really should just trust him and know that what he does for you is for the best. he’s not trying to scare or control you or anything!! he’s just trying to keep you safe and happy with him!!! that’s all!!!! :)))

Fight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

— while he might be quick to forgive you, he doesn't easily forget the actions that led to the conflict. he prefers to work through disagreements for a compromise, that way you both can continue to be happy together!! albeit, he tends to be a bit patronizing and condescending when you two disagree on something,,,

he doesn’t get mad at you very often though. i can see him being awfully patient with you when it comes to misunderstandings and such. he knows you don’t mean to be rude about it!! you just need him to explain to you why he’s right!!!

Gratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

— he’s very grateful for you!! he enjoys the admiration, love, and support you show him, and he makes sure to show his appreciation and love back through small gestures, like surprising you with treats or leaving little notes around your house when he visits! that way, you’re always thinking about how much he loves and appreciates you!

Honesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

— wally values honesty in the relationship and doesn’t feel the need to keep secrets from you unless they would hurt you. and he knows you wouldn’t dare keep anything from him. not if you truly loved him, that is..

he doesn’t really understand secrets that much anyways.. everyone in the neighborhood is such good friends, why would they need to hide anything? (aka, wally unintentionally talks shit and causes drama /hj)

Inspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

— you’ve definitely inspired him to try out new mediums and techniques in his art. i mean, he usually just paints and draws things he likes! and there’s nothing wrong with that, but recently he’s been trying new things!

with you around to help, he’s rarely hit any creative blocks. you’ve shown him how to connect his emotions to his paintings. and now he knows even more ways to make art that is more than just color on paper!!! truly amazing :)!!

Jealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

— wally is quite possessive and can get jealous easily. he deals with it by keeping a close eye on you, and if he perceives any threat to his relationship, he will go to great lengths to eliminate that threat.

he would never destroy something that means a lot to you, but of course, he has to make sure he means the most to you!!! after everything he does for you, how could you not love him more than anything else!?! :)

Kiss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

— i love him a lot okay? but he is definitely not a good kisser. he’s never loved anyone like he’s loved you, so he’s just… inexperienced?

i feel like the first kiss would be awkward and tense, as he was nervous and unsure of how you would react to his feelings, but it was still very passionate and meaningful! sometimes you just take his breath away and leave him speechless, but actions speak more than words, right? @:))))

Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

— he would confess his love in a very straightforward and direct manner. he would likely sit you down and tell you about how he couldn't imagine his life without you, and that hes willing to do anything to make you happy!!!

he was confident and direct with his confession because he was sure that he had you wrapped around his finger. before he confessed to you, he made sure to be open enough that you’d enjoy talking to him, but mysterious enough that you’d surely be thinking about him all day, wanting to hear more from him.

Marriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

— he does want to get married, and he would propose in a grand, romantic way!! he would likely plan an elaborate surprise, such as a candlelit dinner or a sweet picnic in a meadow, and then get down on one knee to ask you to marry him!! he would make sure the moment was so special that there was no chance that you could reject him!

the marriage itself would be pretty traditional, with wally insisting on taking care of all the arrangements and ensuring that everything was perfect for you.

Nicknames - What do they call their s/o?

— i feel like he would call you things such as "my love" or "my darling," and he would use petnames often to remind you how much he adores you!

he has a habit of calling you a handful of different petnames, but always adding “my“ to the beginning of it. you’re his sweetheart!!!! his love!!!!! no one else’s!!!!!!

On Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

— when wally falls in love, he becomes completely devoted to you. his feelings are somewhat obvious to others, as he can become a bit possessive and jealous when others try to get too close to you, even though he tries to hide those feelings in front of others.

he expresses his love through attention and gifts, showering his significant other with affection and making sure they know how much they truly mean to him!!!!

PDA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

— he’s pretty upfront about his relationship and is not afraid to show affection in public. he enjoys making others aware of you two and he takes pride in displaying his love for you!!!!

he’s not the type to like??? shove his tongue down your throat in public 😭 but i mean small things like holding your hand and keeping you close to him when you two are out together!!

Quirk - Some random ability they have that's beneficial in a relationship.

— wally has a photographic memory, which makes him incredibly attentive to your wants and desires. he never forgets important dates or details, and always makes sure to surprise you with things that make you happy!!

he knows what size clothes you wear and what scent perfume you use. he always picks up your favorite snacks before you come over and he makes sure to use your favorite colors a lot when he makes paintings for you!!!

Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

— i feel like he’d be pretty romantic!! and he loves to make grand gestures to make you feel special!! i like to think he’s somewhat creative in his approach and he enjoys surprising you with things you never expected.

he will go to great lengths to make you happy, even if it means doing something cliché like writing love letters or preparing a candlelit dinner. however, his possessiveness can sometimes lead to darker and more dangerous displays of love, such as stalking or isolating you from others.

Support - Are they helping their s/o achieve their? Do they believe in them?

— wally sees himself as your personal cheerleader and will do anything to help you achieve your dreams. however, his version of support can be a little intense as sometimes he tends to control your choices to ensure your success. he believes in you so much that he'll go to extreme measures to make sure you reach your full potential.

i feel like he would also be sure to tell you that you two achieved the victory together and that you wouldn’t have gotten to where you are without him!! he doesn’t mean it in a rude way!!!!! he just wants you to thank him sometimes!!!!!

— i think that he wouldn’t mind trying out new things with you sometimes, but only if it's on his terms! he has a certain routine that he likes to follow, and deviation from it can trigger his possessive behavior a bit...

he's very particular about what he considers "spicing things up" and can tend to be a bit controlling when it comes to decision-making. he just wants to make sure you stay nice and safe!!! he makes sure to take good care of his belongings! :)

Understanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?

— he believes that he knows you better than anyone else, and as such, he can be highly empathetic when it suits him... however, he's also prone to getting lost in his own delusions and can struggle to see things from your perspective when he feels threatened.

mostly though, he tends to be more sympathetic and pitiful instead of empathetic whenever you’re upset.

Value - How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?

— the relationship is everything to him!!! and he's not afraid to make that known! he has a bad habit of seeing you as his property and will stop at nothing to keep you by his side. in his eyes, the relationship is worth more than anything else in his life, and he'll do whatever it takes to protect it!!! you truly mean everything him, and he’s not afraid to give everything else up for you!!!! :)

— wally loves to pamper you with expensive gifts and lavish attention. he believes that he deserves your love and affection in return for the gifts and he sees them as a way of showing you how much he cares!

— he is extremely affectionate and loves to shower you with cuddles and affection. however, sometimes it tends to turn into a bit of possessive behavior if he feels like someone else is encroaching on your time together.

Yearning - How will they cope when they're missing their partner?

— whenever he’s missing you, i feel like he copes by somewhat obsessing over you... he'll stare over old photos and drawings, collecting small things you might’ve left at his house, overanalyzing them until he can almost feel your presence.

he also might engage in stalkerish behavior,,, staring at your house through his window.. maybe even walking to your place to peek through the windows if he thinks he can get away with it.

Zeal - Are they willing to go to great lenghts for the relationship? If so, what kind of?

— he’s willing to go to great lengths for the relationship, even if it might seem hurtful from your perspective... he tends to see himself as your companion and protector and will stop at nothing to keep you safe, even if it means resorting to things you might not like. his zeal can quickly turn dangerous if he feels that you’re in danger.

((side note; Before I start, I dunno anything about skinbenders if it’s an actual thing, I just got the name from a comic book character and then just freestyling the rest, and my writing is horrible.))

Calico can shapeshift into much more than just animals or human. she can shapeshift her whole, or part of her body into whatever she wants, objects, weapons, animal-like, anything she wants. for an average skinbender, it’s easy to spot them through their disguises, they always look deranged, or something’s just off and inhuman about them. but not Calico, She’s always flawless with her shapeshifting ability and that fact does give her a bit of an ego. Calico has to wear one’s skin in order to shift into what she wants, so does that also mean she consumes scraps in order to shapeshift into an object? Maybe…

\\Likes \ hobbies\\

⟡ Using her shifting ability, Calico loves to terrify the soldiers around Hellsing with her body horror, and Seras is definitely her favorite to scare, she would stand in dark corners and just stare. But unfortunately ((or fortunately ?)) the only people that wouldn’t fall for her antics is Alucard and Integra, makes sense because Integra had to deal with Alucard within the second half of her childhood so she should be used to it at this point. and I’m sure Alucard vampire senses would know Calico is there before she even get to do anything.

⟡ shifting into a cat and pretty much doing whatever the fuck she wants.

⟡ joining Hellsing was just like a retirement for Calico, doing random activities around the mansion while also becoming a vampire Hunter to satisfy her animalistic nature to kill. crocheting, bone collecting, gardening, just to name a few of her random activities, but her favorite out of all is baking, and sharing her baked goods to hellsing while they’re completely oblivious rather or not if she ever put anything in the food they’re eating, and she haven’t... yet.

⟡ relaxed, serene, insensitive, sadomasochistic, two-faced, extremely kind when she feels like it, can be manipulative at times, and a challenge to provoke.

⟡ Calico speaks with a lot of hand gestures, and even touch the person she’s talking to, she does not acknowledge personal space, or possibly doesn’t even care. Her voice is usually soft, calm and almost robotic in someway, with a Chinese Mandarin accent, but her voice does change when she’s in her original form, it’s like a raspy, loud whisper. Calico has no filter, she would announce how ugly a baby is, in public, in front of the parents.. or casually ask a person why are they ugly, or bald. in other words she will say shit that probably shouldn’t be said out loud, or say what everybody in the room is thinking out loud in an awkward situation as another example and all with a small smile remaining on her face.

⟡ and there’s other times she’ll just stand there like a statue if anyone isn’t Interacting with her or just doesn’t have anything else to do.

⟡ Skinbenders aren’t exactly born with a pacific sex or gender, all their genitals pretty much the same and can be used the same way as both human male and female genitals, in other words, you could breed or be bred by them. ((WTF DID I JUST TYPE IN BRO 😭)) what I’m trying to get at is Calico is technically a trans woman if you think about it.

⟡ Calico forgets to blink sometimes, just putting that there.

⟡ ((I have this weird obsession with what a character bedroom would look like, so best believe I’m gonna explain what her bedroom looks like,)) most of her room is completely normal, a dresser she never felt the need to use, a vanity and shelves occupied with her small animal skull collection but what sticks out the most is instead of having a bed she has a nest in the size of an average king size bed made from majority of blankets and pillows she have stolen around the mansion all occupying in the corner of her room, she could be very protective of her nest, only allowing the people she trust the most to even be near, aka Seras, Calico has tried inviting her master Integra into her nest, but was always rejected.. so that’s why Calico has taken upon herself to settle for claiming her master's bed instead.

⟡ Most of her clothing is made of her flesh.

⟡ Calico is not completely emotionless she can make other facial expressions, a small smile is just her default / resting face.

⟡ If Calico actually labeled her identity, she would be an aromantic, pansexual, trans woman. but she doesn’t feel the need to label it, so you would never catch her calling herself these things.

⟡ Calico doesn’t really see people as, well.. people. So this is how she view the main four !!

Integra ((But Calico personally calls her ‘my master’))- Calico actually respects her authority and probably the only persons boundaries she would take into consideration. Also silly British hehehehe.

Alucard - Calico sees him as some vampiric Manwhore. But they’re civil with each other, they like to have conversations and even sometimes play chess together.

Seras ((but Calico insist on calling her by her last name, Victoria.)) - ah she absolutely adore her, Calico would have her attend with her hobbies if available. Calico treats Seras as like she’s a new puppy for her. So in case you haven’t noticed she’s obviously the favorite.

Favorite headcanon for every ghoul! Go!

Ahhh!! OK! Thank you so much for asking!? Fair warning these are going to be all over the place--and I can't just pick one, you get two for each. Aether: - Magically connected to all the ghouls in his pack--no matter how far away they are. With a little effort he can feel what they're feeling (emotionally and physically). He definitely checks in on all of them at least once a day while they're away. - Works in the infirmary. Stayed home because he found working there far more fulfilling than being on stage. Swiss: - Can use his magic to literally turn into shadow. Uses this power for good, as well as voyeuristic reasons. Gives a killer massage in that form. Loves to eavesdrop on clergy meetings. - Fire/Shadow (quintessence really, but he doesn't know any other quint ghouls who can become discorporate sooooo) hybrid. One purple eye, one yellow/amber (all hybrids have heterochromia!) Dewdrop: - Actually an introvert. Loves acting out on stage. Can be loud and obnoxious. But really thrives on time alone. Not shy. Not reserved. Just needs to be left the fuck alone every once in a while and isn't afraid to tell people when he does. -Still has a lot of water ghoul traits, but refuses to call himself a hybrid because his gills are scared over, and both of his eyes are the same color (though whether they are copper, or blue, seems to depend on the day). Cumulus: - Crafty! Knits. Crochets. Very good at both. Uses that to fill her free time on tour. Is always making something. - Oddly, doesn't like thunderstorms. It has nothing to do with the air pressure and everything to do with the lightning/thunder. Cirrus: - The biggest bookworm out of all the ghouls. Will read anything. Always has a book with her. Makes list of book recommendations for all the other ghouls. When she tells you that you'll like a book--you can take that as fact. - Hates to cook. She can cook, she isn't bad at it. But she genuinely hates it and does everything she can to avoid getting roped into it. Mountain: - Plants grow from around his horns when he's feeling strong emotions. He can grow stuff on command as well, but that takes a lot of effort. But the stuff that just sprouts when he's feeling a lot of something happens without effort and has no impact on his energy. - Resident chef. Always cooks breakfast. Knows what everyone likes and doesn't like. Makes sure everyone always is fed and happy. Aurora: - Water/Air hybrid, but has more affinity for water. Air is hard for her. Water is as easy as breathing. But she only has one set of gills (on her ribs) instead of multiple sets like full water ghouls. - Really terrible at keeping track of her human glamour. Frequently gets shoved in between two bigger ghouls when they're in public to hide the sudden appearance of her tail/horns/claws. Aeon: - Shy. So shy. But also kind of an extrovert. Wants to be around people all the time. Basically the opposite of Dew. Is nervous about talking to a stranger (or anyone), but cannot stand to be alone. - Very emotionally intuitive because of his element. It's a little like reading minds without hearing thoughts. He can absolutely tell if someone is lying to him (or themselves). You cannot get one over on Aeon. Rain: - Exhibitionist. A little like Narcissus. Really loves to look at himself too. Knows other people like to look at him. Gets off on it. (He and shadow Swiss definitely have an arrangement). - So so wet. And always cool. Hugging Rain is like hugging a person who just got done swimming in the North Atlantic. Damp, and cold. Sunshine: - Loves to garden. Not an earth ghoul, but has a strange affinity toward flowers and herbs. Spends almost as much time in the greenhouse and gardens as Mountain. She takes care of all of the plants in and around the abbey when he's gone. - Calls herself a fire/air hybrid, but has a really strange grip on light manipulation. Can absolutely redirect sunlight to blind the shit out of someone. Swiss thinks if she tried hard enough she might be able to do what he does with shadow--just with light. She is afraid to try.

━━━━ but even so, leo cares about you a lot. probably more than he would care to admit even to himself. sure, he puts up a laid-back front for you, but he quite frankly worries when you aren't around playing video games with him in the lair. sees you going through a rough time at school or struggling to interact with your peers? leonardo hamato portals his ass to sit with you outside on the bleachers during lunchtime without missing a beat.

━━━ you find it quite endearing that despite sitting on the cool metal bleachers outside with a stale hotdog and quite possibly expired milk carton, leonardo happily opens a portal next to you and shares a freshly bubbling pizza slice with you

━━━ this man is practically sweating bullets.

━━━ he purposefully occasionally asks donnie to hack into the security cameras of your school to make sure you are doing alright from time to time- especially if he knows that there is a big event going on that might make you nervous

━━━ "donnie, c'mon, mano! just check for me on how they are doing? they haven't texted me yet and it's their first day! what if they haven't found anyone to sit with?"

"leo, i believe that is what many consider to be stalking."

━━━ he taught you how to skateboard for a while and even offered to help you customize the board that he bought for your birthday! (he pretended to be in a street costume and offered to take pictures with tourists for a couple of weeks to save up the cash.)

━━━ he lets you ramble all about your interests when you guys hang out on your favorite rooftop spot when you have trouble sleeping- just contently nodding with a bright smirk over the fact that he has managed to get you all excited to talk about your favorite movies or artists.

━━━ when you notice how long you have been talking, he reassures you with an easy smile and waggles his three fingers lazily in the air. honestly, the man could listen to you for hours.

RAPHAEL HAMATO ¡! ❞

━━━ spoilers. raph is the biggest teddy bear around you.

━━━ he was the most nervous among his brothers concerning interacting with you when you had met for the first time. raph was terrified of scaring you off with the way he would tower over you and how you would initially avoid eye contact with him when he would try to spark up a conversation. he even avoided smiling for a while because the big guy was a lil' nervous that his fang was intimidating you.

━━━ raph honestly melted into his shell when you comfortably rested your head on his arm while watching a movie together. you didn't even seem to notice your slight shift towards him, he almost forgot to breathe for a second as he just watched you quietly enjoy the film, buttery popcorn gathering close to your lips. you just seemed so happy.

━ he always wants you to feel comfortable. perhaps a bit too comfortable. raph is constantly knitting you soft scarves and mittens when winter begins approaching in new york. warm and fuzzy yarn being crocheted into cute hats. (despite his brothers teasing him over how they could practically only see your eyes peaking out from all the layers he has managed to throw on you)

"but i gotta make em' some a scarf, a hat, gloves, some leg warmers-"

"or you can have them looking like a sesame street character, that works too."

━ he is always asking about what you are interested in doing when the gang hangs out. if he notices you want to speak up or your eyes begin to brighten up, he'll always turn the focus of the conversation toward your suggestions.

━ even though it's rare when you do, sometimes you'll mumble out whenever you need a hug from raph. a soft glance in his direction and he already had bent down with his large arms scooping you up tightly.

DONATELLO HAMATO ¡! ❞

━ donnie is probably the most reserved when it comes to his affection towards you, but when he sees you scratching your arm or nervously glancing at the ceiling frequently, he does what he can to make sure you feel alright and to soothe your nerves.

━ you are probably one of the few people he lets into his workshop willingly to roam around- the only person he doesn't quite mind that tinkers around with the unfinished inventions scattered across his desk with crumpled-up coffee cans and random sticky notes. he'll let you peek over his shoulder to admire his blueprints and ask questions as he works, even when you think he doesn't notice.

━ donatello always has the mini fridge in his workshop filled with your favorite snacks and drinks in case you happen to come in for some company. he would always give you a small shrug and claim that he just so happens to like the same refreshments you do or that the local store April stopped by only carried that kind of chips currently. it had nothing to do with you, or how he knew your eyes would light up munching on your favorite snacks. really. nothing to do with you at all.

━ "i didn't know you had these, donnie!" you murmured excitedly, the surface of your thumbs running over the bright plastic of the salty treat with a light astonishment.

glancing over his shoulder at the sound of your voice, donatello's eyes flickered over the snack you had been gripping tightly between your hands- his furrowed expression remaining casual before turning back his attention to the burning slight sparks emitting from his project.

"oh, those old things?" he replied with a small laugh, sliding down his mismatched goggles down his face, his brow slightly quirked upwards plainly and his squinting eyes at the snack you lifted towards him, "i eat those all the time."

"really?" your head tilted at the claim, scanning all the neatly stacked snacks lined up neatly on his shelf that were organized by brand, looking almost completely untouched. "this is the first time i've ever seen you-"

"I EAT THEM ALL THE TIME, [y/n]-"

━ donnie plays your favorite music on his speakers while working on new inventions. he remembered when you were excitedly smiling at him, raising your earbud sheepishly towards him about the newest album of a band you liked and offering him to listen- he still could recall from when you showed him your Spotify playlist one time and the glimmer of pure joy in your eyes.

Full disclosure I restarted about 4 times and then got really hyperfixated on crochet, but! I finished and I think it came out pretty good

Trapped in an Unyielding Orbit

Summary: The void has been following (haunting?) Planet for a while now. No one else seems to realize that they can't escape its cold gaze.

Characters: Planetlord, Spokeishere, Ashwagg and Zam very briefly, Jaron and Bacon mentioned

Word Count: 1852

Something has been following Planetlord, something dark and looming and never quite there when they turn around to try and catch it. Something that causes their stars to shrink in closer to their head as though it will pluck away their hearts one by one. Their teammates don't believe them, even when they feel it in the room as they all work together to regear. Bacon and Jaron just laugh and shrug off their worries, even though they know they're being followed. They don't know what to do, because it feels like the void is pressing in on all sides around them, like at any moment they're going to be swallowed whole.

They shiver, feeling the now familiar chill that happens whenever it’s back. There are eyes staring into them, as though it’s looking into their very soul, watching the way their stars circle their head. They look out of the corner of their eye, trying to catch a glimpse of it, but as always, there’s nothing but a blur of motion. They can’t focus on this right now, they have plans, they’re meeting with Zam in less than an hour for some girl talk, they can’t be freaking out about this shadow while trying to convince Zam to not be afraid of Mapicc.

It would weaken their argument, at the very least. And if they can’t convince Zam that he’s safe(r) with them, then he’ll never lower his guard enough for them to be able to follow him to the Eclipse base. They go through the nether portal, feeling the all encompassing heat for only a moment before they feel the chill of those eyes on them again. They shiver, pulling their hoodie closer to them as they begin the journey along the nether roof. Sometimes, when they’re alone like this, they can almost hear a voice whispering to them, asking about their stars, asking where they’re going and why. Asking about their teammates, and how easy it would be to get rid of them. Asking what they would do if they were alone. They actually answered that one before, snapping that they would revive them, it’s not like they’re short on materials, not like they don’t have time.

The void found that hilarious, a booming laugh followed by taunts and mirth. It's never actually hurt them, but they don't know if that's because it's waiting or because it's just messing with them. They just want to stop feeling this cold, this on edge; they're sick and tired of being the bug trapped under the magnifying glass.

They leave the nether, trying to ignore how they can almost feel breath on the back of their neck. It must be in a good mood today, as it gives them space as they talk to Zam, only reappearing towards the end. They feel it's (probably) metaphorical fingers wrap around their shoulder, and then the strangest thing happens.

Zam gets scared.

And that isn't that strange on its own, Zam gets scared all the time these days, paranoid to the point of poor health, but he's staring right past Planet's head, right over his shoulder as though he can see something that no one else can. Planet opens their mouth, ready to ask questions: what is it, what does it want? But Zam cuts him off with a smile that seems even more forced than normal.

“Anyways, I feel great now, Planetlord. Thank you for your help and for talking to me. I will, uh, see you again. At some point.” Zam is scared. Terrified even, at whatever he sees over Planet's shoulder. He doesn't even give Planet a chance to question him, hopping on his horse and riding off towards the nether portal.

Planet has so many questions. No one has ever acted as though they can see their… ghost? the demon haunting them? The void that's going to swallow them whole when they die…? Bacon and Jaron have never seen it, teasing them whenever they try to bring it up as though it's some kind of prank. But, for whatever reason, it allowed Zam to see it, and it terrified him.

Granted, everything these days scares Zam, comes with the whole “Mapicc hunting him for sport” thing.

Still, it feels like they were given a hint, or something. It chose to show itself to Zam for a reason. What does Zam know that Planet, or Bacon or Jaron, wouldn't? He's more involved with the factions of the world right now, taking a stand against duplicated items and now the gods popping up around the world. Could it be that simple? Does it have to do with the God Mobs? Planet doesn't know, and they aren't sure if they're going to get an answer, with the way it refuses to show itself to anyone other than Zam.

Planet sighs, walking along the path of spawn, feeling the weight of the void's stare. They have plans, things they need to get done, but instead they're always worried about when, not if, the thing turns hostile. Everything goes wrong eventually, so even though nothing has happened yet, they know that things will turn.

They hop down a small ledge, feeling the claws of the void tug lightly at their jacket as they land. And then they hear the hiss. They barely turn in time to see the creeper before it explodes. They can feel as one of their stars fades as their vision goes dark. This is just their luck, dropping down to two hearts. and in such an embarrassing way too.

They wake at spawn. One of the others must have moved the bed and forgot to tell them again. They're lying in the grass, taking a moment to regain their bearings before they try to recover their items. In the distance, they can see Ashwagg as he shows off his newly discovered flight to another unsuspecting member of the server. They watch halfheartedly as they consider their new predicament. They have more than enough netherite, hell, they're pretty sure they have a couple more hearts lying around that they could use. But more importantly, dying like that affects people's opinions of them, and their team. They aren't weak, but it's easy to write them off as not being a threat because of the silly (normal) ways they die. Eventually, Planet's going to change that, they have very big plans for the future, but right now they mostly just want to have fun.

As they watch Ashwagg, the sky grows darker. Alarmingly quickly, the sky is blotched out and covered in darkness. This has to be it. The void finally finds them weak enough that it's coming to finish them off. It's like a warden's blindness amplified by a thousand. Ash looks up, panic and confusion flashing across the static of his face.

And Planet realizes, oh, this is real.

Ash can see the darkness. Whatever this void is, it’s visible to the world. It has a tangible, physical presence that other people can see and feel. At least this way, if they're banned off the server before they have a chance to get more hearts, people will know what happened to them and they won't have to cover their face in embarrassment if or when their teammates revive them.

As the world goes black around them, two clawed hands of void reach out towards them, turning into an inky black form with a rainbow headband. Its eyes are pure white, a stark contrast to Planet's own form, and as its mouth opens it seems to tear the space around it apart.

“Hey, have I got just the thing you need, Planet Lord.” The voice is cocky and drawn out, a wide grin forming on its face. “Since you had your little… accident.”

“What…?” Planet trails off, there are too many questions they want to ask.

“Your creeper incident.” It steps closer and Planet tries to scramble back. It's like they're pinned in place, they can't bring themself to move even an inch. “But you are going to owe me, can't just be handing out this sort of thing for free.”

It holds out its hand, a small iridescent orb pulsing in a rainbow of colors sitting innocently on top of its palm. As it moves closer to Planet the shape changes, becoming closer to one of their stars. It's offering them a heart. A genuine one, not one disguised just enough to pass a trade.

“What do you want for it?” Their voice doesn't shake, they're forcing out their standard lowkey persona even as something this powerful stands before them. It has the power to plunge the world into darkness; what could it possibly want from them?

It laughs, a booming laugh that feels like it's sending pins through their hands and feet. “Let's just call it an… IOU. A favor for me to cash in later, doesn't that sound fair to you?”

If it was any normal player, an IOU would be a very dangerous thing to give out. Telling someone you'll do whatever they want in the future is, well, stupid, frankly. But this is even worse, there is something wrong with the figure standing in front of them. They open their mouth just to close it again as they think about how much harm it could force them to do.

“I'm waiting.” It whines, drawing out the words like a perturbed child who was told they could go home in five minutes ten minutes ago.

“Fine. Okay.” They don't want to make it mad, not when they really need the heart and it could decide to kill them at any moment.

“I knew you would end up seeing things my way! Open up, Planet Lord.” The void lunges towards them even faster than they could have imagined it moving. Grabbing them by the skull and forcing their jaw open.

The star morphs into a beating heart, and as Planet is made to bite down on it they wonder how the thing manages to have such an influence on the appearance of hearts. The blood runs down their chin, inky and thick as they chew. They feel as the star they lost reforms, their heart count returning back to three. The void smiles at them, mouth tearing open into menacingly sharp teeth. They brush the blood from their face with the back of their hand, ignoring the way that it shakes slightly.

The void laughs, cheerful and spine chilling, and it steps away from them. The figure fades away into the darkness, leaving Planet with a whispered “don't forget our deal, Planet.”

The darkness fades away, leaving them sitting in the middle of spawn with no trace of anything happening other than the smear of blood on the back of their hand.

“Planetlord. Planet.” They look up quickly, seeing Ashwagg standing above them. “What was that?”

“I don't know what you're talking about.” Their mouth moves without them being in control of it. The air on their skin is warm, but there is a bone deep chill in their core.

Im too scared to ask on main but what's the pattern for the crochet isopods??? I've been meaning to try out my new crochet hooks and would love to burn some yarn to make these little guys! Thanks!

I actually don't have a pattern for them, unfortunately. I basically always wing it with all my crochet projects. I never learned how to crochet in a very technical way to begin with, so I wouldn't even know how to make a proper pattern ¯\_(xへx)_/¯

But, the isopods are made of simple shapes. The body is a long, circular bean shape, with a basic stitch, and the antennae are single chains sewn through.

The legs are kinda hard to explain: for each leg, I would make a chain of five or so (starting from the body), then slip stitch back along inward toward the body, then I'd pull the yarn through a bit of the body and continue to the next leg.

I'm sure there's an easier way to do the legs, like just sewing a separate single chain onto the body six times or something, but I wanted to do it all with one continuous strand.

And finally, the segment lines are just stitched on with a yarn needle.

Sorry I can't give a proper pattern, this is probably not that easy to understand, but this is about as good as I can explain it. Hopefully there's some useful information in here! :0

I'm thinking that, once we're at the farm, and we have the garage converted (so a very long time from now; years, really) ... I may finally take the leap and actually get into making Stained Glass like I've kinda always wanted to.

My hands are too messed up now, with the Fibro, to do Embroidery anymore. Which is kind of depressing, actually, considering how many years I desperately wanted to get into Embroidery but was scared to because I thought it'd be too expensive to start- only to have it ripped away fairly quickly after finally starting (comparatively) ... And Knitting and Crochet have never worked out for me. My brain just cannot grasp either no matter how hard I've desperately tried to make myself take them up.

I really enjoy the traditional Folk Art that I've been getting into this year. Absolutely adore it, actually, and it makes me feel so accomplished- which is huge, because I'm an Artist by default, and it's truly been decades since I've genuinely felt accomplished with my traditional art. But I can also only do so much of that at a time either before I start running into the same issues with my Neuropathy as I do with embroidery. Though thankfully, because Colored Pencils, Paints, etc, are larger, I can go a lot longer with them, and it's not as bad on my hands.

I want something else, though, too, to kinda put my time and energy into craft-wise. Something nice that I can lose myself in, in a studio, the way I used to be able to with my other craft. Especially since I'm going to be well and truly and properly alone out there at the Farm.

I thought about Pottery for a while, because that's also something I've been interested in since I was a kid. But that one really does have such a high entry cost. And with my hand strength and everything ... I don't want to invest and then not do it- and where I am I'd have to invest first to find out. We don't have classes around here I could take to learn first.

Also thought about Glass Etching, which would be fun; I never had any interest in it before, but it looks easy enough. I'm concerned, however, that the vibrations from the tool necessary to do it would really screw with my neuropathy- which would ultimately make that one a useless investment. And that one, as far as I understand it, isn't quite as easy to put down and then pick back up as needed.

Stained Glass, though ... I was doing some research and the barrier of entry's really low for it cost wise. And it's a lot easier than I thought it was; it's a skill I already possess (mostly Soldering), so I'd only have to invest in materials and then brush up on the skill again since it's been a while. And the hand work that is involved isn't rally all that demanding (the Glass Cutting is probably the most demanding bit that'll fight with my Neuropathy). Plus you can put it down and pick it up as needed and able, without actually causing any problems with the projects. I've also always wanted to do it. So it seems perfect.

It's a very long ways out, though.

happy thursday cocobear (im a day late, i apologize) 💗‼️ tysm for stopping by, i appreciate it sm ^_^

i thought about this recently, and for quick background, in my genshin lore i am from sumeru. i am best friends with all the sumeru boys + nilou, candace, collei, and dehya ^_^ but i am esp best friends with kaveh <3 i am an interior designer so often we work closely together on projects.

i eventually travel to liyue to explore interior design and architecture there. while exploring liyue harbor, i run into a small child crying and it turns out to be teucer (pulling straight from the story quest LMAO) who is distressed because he can’t find his brother >_< ! i try my best to help him and thankful the people involved with the northland bank recognize teucer and take him there.

a day passes and i am exploring the harbor again. then suddenly a tall man comes up to me and has teucer in tow. childe introduces himself to me after teucer has pointed me out as the ‘nice lady who saved me’. he makes teucer apologize for giving me trouble and apologizes again himself. i tell him it was really no trouble at all.

childe being childe insists on thanking me somehow so he asks to take me out for dinner.

he is very forward and obviously can be pretty flirty, but at first i just see it as him being nice for saving his brother. nothing more. but as time passes and we spend more time together, it drives him crazy that im not picking up on his advances and cues. so eventually, he bluntly confesses his feelings to me.

i think me being shy and reserved draws him near me, idk how to explain :0 like he is just interested in getting to know me more. he finds me getting flustered to be cute. also admires how i am with teucer and is fond of people getting along with his siblings. also likes that im a bit snippy and will challenge things he says. he is a sadist,,,

what draws me near to him is the way he is confident and cares sm about his family. i admire him for how observant and perceptive he is ^_^. also finding out how much of a malewife he is shocks me since that isn’t seen often in guys, LMAO.

i would say it is slow burn. it takes me awhile to open up to people, but childe is understanding and patient. always reassuring that he really is into me bc i have doubts (lol). but he is so kind that it is easy to believe.

i think there were probably a few ups and downs once finding out he’s a harbinger. he’s scared that i think of him differently but i just tell him that i only see him as ajax and some title doesn’t necessarily define him (might be controversial to say). it makes me mad that he is wreckless as he is, but i know he’s a great fighter and strong so i believe in him.

i would say once as an established couple we find a way to overlap interests (working out together, cooking together, i crochet him a scarf, and he of course tells me all about his family and traditions, i tell him about sumeru, etc). we make the most of our time since he is very busy ^_^

Heart- Ough yes the the old man has gotten injuries, that have left scars, though, they are very faded by now. I mean, the last ones he got were at least a decade ago, from scuffles in psych wards (mostly him getting caught in the crossfire) But as you can guess, most of his scars are from his childhood :( yeah, his parents favorite form of "discipline" was capital punishment, and there were times where they didn't care if it left a scar. Also, when he got to the psych ward there were probably restrictive methods that were used that probably left scars on his wrists, ankles... Also self inflicted wounds, both on purpose and accidental... also random scrapes or scratched that got infected... yeah there sure are a lot huh? They are mostly on his back and arms... also thighs... But anywhere basically lol somehow his face survived more or less. But! He hasn't received any mayor scaring in a long while so that's good!!! A lot of the injuries were very severe, especially the ones that got infected, but like a weed, he pulled through lol

Lolipop- Yeah, a bit manipulable, but not that much anymore... Like he has some secrets you could never manipulate out of him, but otherwise, yeah it's kinda easy to get him to do want if you express positive feelings towards him... But he kinda knows this about himself, and that's one of the reasons he isolates himself so much. Doesn't want to get used or to get his feelings hurt. Has gotten wiser about that, but he also knows now that when he is in his more... mentally unstable moods he is a lot more prone to get manipulated. So, people are kept at arms length :/

Teddy bear- Oh where to start. Ever since he got to living on his own his collection of plushies and blankets and pillows has been growing. A lot of stuffed toys, but most particularly a crocheted cat he made himself and stuffed pig he broke out won from a claw machine <333 Also has rings and necklaces he likes to stim with which also serve that purpose. Also has some woolen socks he adores. Also ofc his sweaters and vests, but to a smaller extent than they were when he was younger <333

– I DIDN'T KNOW I WAS GONNA GO WITH THE OBVIOUS BUT IT JUST MAKES SENSE – honestly i was thinking about this and aemond just would not leave this lil noggin – it's just so easy to imagine the validation you would give each other – i personally think his love language is quality time so he jumps at the opportunity read your writing (horni or otherwise 👀) and i could pitcure him asking Helaena how to crochet and sewing so he could impress you, though he's not keen on cooking at first, you'll have to persuade him – he actually comes to love it and that only makes him love you more because he knows that you are the only reason he learnt how to do this anyway – if we're talking modern au, he starts knitting you a blanket for christmas and this man is rageful about the process, absolutely going crazy over how annoyed he is when he can't do the loop properly or something goes wrong but this boy is determined to make the best blanket for you, you have ever seen – genuinely thought crocheting and knitting were the same thing for most of his life but he'll never admit that – it'll take awhile before he starts actively pursuing you because he is also quiet but once you have a proper conversation he's hooked – always has a small smile shoot across his lips when he hears you humming or singing a song – he rolls his eye when you tell a stupid joke but grows to love that about you – over time he will finish the punchline to annoy you but then one day there's a very obvious joke hanging out there that you don't point out and he's very concerned if you're alright – A frown pinches his brows together as you look ahead obliviously. "Are you alright?" He asks. You glance at him briefly. "I'm fine. What do you mean?" He lifts a hand to your forehead which you dodge but he succeeds anyway. "What are you–?" "I think you have a temperature." He stands up and waltzes toward an empty bag in the corner before approaching you again and lifting you into both arms. "We're seeing a maester. What do you want to bring?" – he automatically seeks you out in a crowd because he knows you'll both be more comfortable with someone you know and will not leave your side until the night is over – he loves that you're passionate and will sometimes prod you into ranting because he thinks it's just so cute, like if a kitten was trying to scrap with a gorilla (i'm not elaborating) – he's nowhere near as bad as Aegon though when you're introduced – the boy just laughs hysterically while arguing with you and Aemond's in the corner holding onto you by the waist and slowly trying to stop you both – he also grows to love how stubborn you are, it's how he would realise he's falling in love with you, you'll be in the middle of an argument and he mentally goes 'oh shit' – he only dances if you beg him because it makes him uncomfortable in front of people but if you're alone together then he pulls out all these suave motions you didn't even know existed – he sometimes likes to get competitive about it and very serious out of nowhere

Its hard cause I imagine the languages of Teyvat can sometimes translate, but not fully. We decided he speaks the Teyvat version of Spanish, and according to linguists if you can speak Spanish.. The easiest language to learn is Portuguese! So the teyvat version of that?

woah i think its been a year since i started suspecting (and identifying) that i have autism, and i feel. glad.

I remember having this horrible, horrible breakdown about not knowing what was "wrong" with me. Nothing ever was wrong with me, i was just different. I just had some things and didnt have some other things, and that made me human and normal, just not like my peers, and i still can and should fit it and be accepted.

Though, this was the longest journey of self acceptance, i've always had a big problem with my own self id, so self dxing was something im always scared of because (by my therapist's words.. yeah i got really mad at that) "my anxiety makes me absorb traits i search up, so i end up believing things that i am not part of or even experienced". Which is totally not true all my whole life i've been the weird, quiet, excellently academic, nerdy, lonely, socially inept queer kid and because i was raised a girl and im "high functioning" (bad label) nobody ever tried to think a little to why i am experiencing bad burnouts in my high school years about social life.

I've always thought autism was a weight, and i kind of still think its heavy on my shoulders. Its not an easy thing to say, for me, that i have autism. its a harsh word in where i live, and other autistic people that my peers know are "low functioning", so they think its dumb comparing the same traits we share because we both have autism, it just expresses differently .

I do have friends and a loving partner, i like to talk and sometimes do a nice small talk, i go to parties (not frequently) and see my family (very frequently). but i get burnouts, i get isolated, i hate ugly specific noises, i get sensory issues, i bond better with individuals with the same characteristics as me, or children, or animals, i have special interests that keep me very happy and talking for hours, im "weird" and say things out of context or un-needed, i have gastrointestinal problems too if that matters (haha), i cant socialize correctly because i show disinterest in some activities, im good at school but i cant function correctly without drawing the whole class because it helps me paying attention while eliminating the art from my brain (last year i got the 2nd place in highest academic score in my class, by drawing the whole year.), i zone out and get uncomfortable by eye contact or physical touch i have not asked, i stim and enjoy repetitive behaviors, i have to listen to my music alone once a day to charge my social battery. i have autism, i am autistic, and im on the spectrum, and i live and breathe and exist because i am human too.

this counts as a vent right? I'll keep on crochet (new interest 🧶)
