The warmth was oddly..familiar. The memory was a warm glow..a soft smile floods his mind as he promptly passes out, vaguely hearing a loud swallow as the feeling of falling further pulled him into the darkness of unconsciousness.

When holding Peter, does Tony sometimes swallow any extra stuff? Like, the soft blanket you keep mentioning in your one-shots or maybe a torch (which would be funny. Imagine Peter suddenly shinning that during a meeting and Tony's stomach suddenly starts to glow lol)

Or maybe even small enough bits of tech so he can give Peter to work on while Tony is in the lab? Like he does 'Hey kid, can you check this for me? Something doesn't seem right' and Peter checks it out (and being the smart kid he is, ofc figures out what the issue is)

Honestly Tony's a big enough softy that whatever Peter requests he'll get in a heart beat, Peter doesn't exactly understand that yet.

But oh my gosh the first time Peter just makes the comment of 'ya know sometimes I wonder what your stomach like really looks like.' And Tony's more than willing to swallow a flash light for the kid to check. Sure Peter has his watch but it's not meant to be a flash light.

Peter totally misses around with it too and Tony has to keep a poker face in meetings when Peter's flashing it around, maybe subtly poke the kid to get him to stop.

As for the tech lol as much as Tony trusts the kid he really doesn't want a mirco piece of tech lost in his gut, so instead he has a little holopad for the kid to check up on, it's connected to his so whatever changes Peter wants to make he can see.

In the end when Peter does realize Tony will swallow anything for him he tentively requests his favorite blanket and maybe a stuffed animal when a day doesn't exactly go well

From the very basics:

When drug companies create new drugs, they get a legal protection called a "patent." The patent means no one else can make or sell the same drug for whatever number of years.

Usually, this is about 10 years after the drug starts being sold to the public.

So, for those years, that one drug company is the only source of whatever medication. And since people need their medication, drug companies can charge however much money they want.

Meaning a lot of drugs that people need to live cost way too much money to buy.

So, with this, Biden told drug companies "Fuck you, if you keep making medicine too $$$ for people to afford, I'm giving your competition the right to make and sell those drugs too."

The US has never done anything like this before.

This is a huge threat to the whole (awful) drug industry in the US. It will save people thousands of dollars. If he does this, it will save lives.

sometimes while i think about that while a lot of adults did not treat me very well as a kid i also get a lot of 'in hindsight this person was so good to me and i didnt even realize it until now' as an adult. today i was thinking about how the first anime convention i ever went to was when i was 10 and i asked the man working the manga cafe what manga was/what a good place to start was (because the con was very overstimulating for me and i had gotten lost) and he asked how old i was before recommending yotsuba and asking if i wanted any water or something to eat. its really simple but theres a lot of bad things that couldve happened or he could've been careless in his recommendation, but instead yotsuba has remained one of my favorite manga for years, and probably a large portion of why i continue to read manga as an adult... i think adults who try to involve kids in the world safely/kindly even in little ways make so much more of a difference than they ever really know.

#and i know that sounds silly like YES. it was just a bookr ecommendation #but i feel like a lot of people either dont really care about whats a good starting point for younger kids in their shared fan spaces #or dont really take the care to recognize different peoples ages would effect what they would both enjoy or #be capable of engaging with #not to mention theres a lot of manga that would NOT have been appropriate for a 10 year old to read #so the fact that he askedd and even asked what sort of thing i liked at the time #was very sweet. i think about him a lot and i hope hes doing well #txt #scratchpost
