writers really...
you expect us to ship them with other people when this entire scene just shows them how married they are?

I kinda want the whole Siegfried × Audrey situation to boil for while on that special level of angst where they both know and each knows that the other know, but it's still unspoken even forbidden. I want them to talk about fear of losing each other and recognize that there's smth more than a great friendship. But also stop one another when there's a moment to give it all a name. I want them to dance on that line, holding into a comfort and safety of their current relationship level avoiding physical side of connection by any means. Because they know when the line is crossed you can't go back and you can't get enough. I want them to appreciate that mutual respect and honesty more than lust. I want them to be repressed af. I want them to suffer deliciously.

If I had a nickel every time a piece of media had a main character that's a nerd and had a huge crush on another main character and later on those nerds had to defeat a deadly plant that seemed not super harmful for a second, and yes they get with their crushes and live happily in some endings, in another ending the plant wins. I would have 3 nickles, that's not a lot but weird it happened thrice.
