Rivals to lovers... One of my favorite troupes! Despite the two's constant battle for the top, they both can't help but respect eachother's efforts.

Surprisingly enough, Yukina and Ran can understand eachother quite well. They can just stand in silence and they can immediately tell what's on the other's mind.

As time goes on, Ran finds herself growing more attached towards Roseila's vocalist. Little does she know that the feelings she has are mutual.

She keeps quiet about her feelings, hiding them deep down inside her-- In love? With Yukina Minato? No. Never! She hates it when the other members of Afterglow (especially moca) tease her about her crush.

It took her a bit to finally confess her feelings to Yukina, much to her surprise-- She was met with a quick kiss on the lips from the vocalist!

The two decided to keep their relationship a secret, unfortunately for them however-- Both Moca and Lisa found out pretty easily, so they each ended up telling their closest friend about the affair.

The two would frequently rent a room at CiRCLE, the reason why was because they wanted to do singing battles against eachother. It actually ends up being a great way to practice! The 'battles' end up lasting for a good while.

Right off the bat, I’m telling you guys Afterglow always blaze together. Moca and Tomoe frequently blaze together, usually by the window of Moca’s room when her parents aren’t home. Tomoe rolls the blunts and Ran is overly nervous about getting caught. Himari surprisingly is not; she always looks forward to a little blaze because god knows she needs it. Tsugumi is usually the one who takes one puff and is a giggling mess; everyone cuts her off for the rest of the night. Ran cuts herself off though, being the dedicated peacemaker in the event they do have to save face.

Nanami is actually prescribed CBD medically. She only takes the tablets at home, but every now and then you see her pop a singular gummy that isn't found in local convenience stores.

Breaching on this, the night before one of Morfonica’s biggest concerts Mashiro went dead silent the entire night out of anxiety. Nanami had no clue what to do, so she just offered her her pen. Mashiro was cured! Although she does have a tendency to use more profane language when high.

Masuki periodically smokes blunts with her gramps. “Don’t tell your father,” gramps says. Masuki would never dare, but man are those some of the best bonding times she’s had with her grandfather.

I feel like Rei, Rui, Hina, and Kokoro would refuse all offers to get high. They just like being sober; it doesn’t do anything for Hina so she just doesn’t bother.

Ako once found a bowl in Tomoe’s room. Tomoe paid her 50 bucks to keep quiet. Ako used those 50 on video games. Tomoe lived happily ever after!

Misaki and Arisa were hanging out in the night of summer with some mushrooms, talking about life. What they weren’t expecting was for Hagumi, Tae, and Rimi to join them. Both of them were very reluctant to share their precious mushrooms, but out of the kindness of their hearts, they did. Let’s just say Hagumi and Tae were having the most in depth conversation about something that made no sense whatsoever  while Rimi was resting her head on Arisa’s lap mumbling about absolutely nothing. Arisa and Rimi got a lot closer after that night!

that doesn't mean she's not extra extra with your dates sometimes...... although those only happen when she plans it carefully or hhw's willing to help (and fund) it. once, your date was on a literal cruise ship. you two were inside though (and if you're not easily sea sick, you both went outside on the deck)

has she dedicated multiple performances to you? yes. has she tossed guitar picks on stage in your direction in hopes you'd catch it? absolutely. has she given you one personally with her signature during a really special performance on your anniversary where you didn't catch the guitar pick? yes, yes she did.

practices and after concerts are almost the same in a way that she would take up every opportunity to flatter you— except after concerts, you'd congratulate her. whether it'd be roses, chocolates, or maybe just a simple hairpin, she'd treasure it. you might catch her wearing that hairpin the next day, or in a concert for everyone to see.

now, theatrical performances. she loves you but she has to stay in character, right? however that really doesn't stop her from looking over in the audience for you, hoping, just hoping you're there. and when you are, when she sees you, she will perform to her utmost best. (not like she already was... but seeing you makes her motivated)

Kasumi has a hard time telling the difference between platonic and romantic love, but either way is very close with friends and those she’s romantically interested in

Kasumi can’t choose a favorite color, but if she had to choose she’d say she likes red because it’s the same color as Random Star!

Kasumi is very sensitive to textures and sounds, one of which is book paper, which is why she stopped reading for a while ( me projecting much? Yes )

Tae’a hair grows very fast, which is why it’s so long, she doesn’t like cutting because brushing and taking care of her hair is so ingrained in her routine that she couldn’t imagine it shorter ( also she loves how silky it is, with her busted up guitar fingers she enjoys touching soft things. After super intense concerts she always brushes her hair and pets her rabbits )

Tae is VERY good at cleaning thanks to her 20 rabbits…

Tae has had a rabbit theme for her birthday every year, without fail. She can also list off obscure facts about rabbits ON COMMAND.

One of the first big knitting projects Tae did was knitting herself and Oddie matching hats

Rimi cannot stand mint flavored toothpaste, so she still uses bubblegum toothpaste that’s typically used by young children

Rimi loves horror media, but the reason she hates haunted houses is because she’s fascinated in horror, but can’t stand to experience it herself and feels less embarrassed being scared on her own than being scared in front of other people. I also like to think that she will not watch horror movies with other people because of this.

Sometimes Rimi gets so insecure of her height that she wears high platform shoes, but then ends up tripping everywhere with them.

Arisa has named several of her bonsai trees after Poppin’ Party Members and her friends, she usually puts the name labels on the pots. When her friends figured out she tried to deny it and got super embarrassed

Arisa hates how she looks with her hair down, or at least she used to. Now she has a love and hate relationship with it, thanks to always being complimented on it by Kasumi which always leads to a flustered Arisa.

Arisa usually tries to present herself as a polite rich girl type to strangers, which is why she enjoys wearing purple, because she thinks it makes her fit that image more.

Arisa is an avid enjoyer of incredibly long video essays that she likes to listen to while caring for her bonsai.

Saaya really likes the color yellow as she thinks it’s calming, she also loves the combination of blue and yellow, so she often takes pictures of yellow flowers and blue skies.

Saaya often overworks herself when helping people, Kasumi always makes all the bandmates lend a hand if they can.

Saaya’s favorite flowers are marigolds and sunflowers!

Tae knitted Saaya a custom camera strap that she wears literally everywhere.

Saaya’s scrunchie collection is actually impressive with how big it is, and she makes sure to wear an appropriate one for every occasion! Valentines day? Pink heart scrunchie GO!

It was funny, they had both confessed their love at the same exact time! The two thought it was hilarious! Afterwards, though, Kanon had took Misaki out to a nearby cafe for a 'first-date'. The two had a blast together!

Misaki is more discreet with her affection whilst Kanon is more verbal. When alone, Misaki will cling onto Kanon, whispering that she loves her.

Kanon's ideal dates are at aquariums or cafes, she'll frequently take Misaki out to see jellyfish. Misaki thought it'd be a fun idea to name each jellyfish they saw, Kanon agreed!

The two often felt little dolls together as a past time, Misaki helps Kanon whenever she is having trouble with the felting. They had once both gifted eachother felted dolls, Misaki gave Kanon a felted jellyfish as Kanon gave Misaki a felted pink bear.

Kanon often daydreams about spending time with Misaki, whenever she's daydreaming-- She'll always end up sketching out a perfect picture of Misaki's face. She's embarrassed about her drawings of Misaki.

Kanon invites Misaki to her apartment, Chisato doesn't mind this and even enjoys Misaki's presence. The idol once found them cuddling next to eachother, asleep while watching a movie. Chisato had thought the interaction between them was adorable, she knew that the two were meant to be.

While Kanon invites Misaki over to her apartment, Misaki invites Kanon to play tennis! Despite not being very good at the game, Kanon learns overtime with the help of her Misaki <3.

They can always be seen cuddling with eachother, it can be seen as a bit puzzling for Misaki... But she secretly loves whenever Kanon hugs and snuggles against her body.

After a successful practice session, the group stopped by Lisa's home to relax and talk about what comes next. This was, until, Ako suggested they all try to swap instruments! - Though Sayo has calluses on the pads of her fingers, they still don't compare to Lisa's. So when they switched instruments, Lisa couldn't help but giggle at the suppressed grimace on Sayo's face.

Sayo and Lisa frequently have trips to the park together. None of the other members know this, but they like bringing a blanket to sit on and just catching up on how they're both doing mentally. This involves Sayo resting her head on Lisa's lap as Lisa runs her fingers through her hair. Sayo will never admit it, but she loves when Lisa does that.

Lisa has a little list in her journal of all of Sayo's favorite things. This mainly includes beverages; after every practice session, specifically on Friday's, Lisa will have a green tea prepared just for her. Sayo has begun looking forward to it.

On public transportation, Sayo always gives Lisa the window seat. She loves hearing Lisa point out all the things she sees!

When these two went to the zoo together, Lisa found out that Sayo was oddly fond of giraffes. This warranted a cartoon giraffe tshirt and a very, very embarrassed Sayo.

Sayo isn't a very cuddly person when it comes to sleeping. She's a pretty light sleeper and very specific. The AC must be on, not a speck of light, and nothing touching her legs. Weird, she knows. But the first time Lisa slept over with Sayo, Sayo tried really hard to be accommodating, which worked. - Sayo, sleeping on her side, leaves her arm outstretched for Lisa to use a pillow. It's distant, but is ecstatic that she's even allowed to touch her when she's sleeping, knowing how picky she can be. - this leads to morning forehead kisses, a soft sort of apology that they couldn't cuddle any closer. Lisa doesn't mind at all.

Lisa loves looking up the latest events in their area to go to. She always invites the whole group, but there are some events (such as apple picking and some underground girl bands) that Lisa will tell just Sayo about.

Lisa has freckles on the tops of her shoulders. Sayo can never stop staring at them when her sleeve slips down a little. Lisa doesn't notice. Sayo still hasn't said anything about them, but Lisa sometimes wonders why Sayo loves kissing her shoulders so much. There you go!
