Caters first impression of you was a memorable one. Aside from seeing his Housewarden turning a gradient of red to purple with rage, he was surprised you had the guts to still be grinning in front of him. It was quite a sight to see Riddle be anraged already by yet another transfer student.

He certainly asks a lot of questions about where you are from and is interested in the customs and foods you have in Inazuma. Make sure to write down every single detail since you'll soon see a lengthy post about you on his Magicam page. Naturally, he would need to keep track of each new transfer student at the school.

"Locking herself away in the Plane of Euthymia, it's as if she was putting herself in timeout. She was stubborn trying to hold the belief, yet it was cute as well."

"Hm? What? Do you want me to call you cute too? I suppose I can, but only if you ask nicely."

Within a couple months of you settling in, you're definitely his favorite gossip buddy, always in the loop of all the new rumors and details going around campus. You help him keep track of new topics that he may have missed. It's like you truly do have eyes and ears everywhere, actually on the topic of ears.

Cater likes the way your ears bob as you walk. It's cute to him, along with your ears, it holds the hypnotic chimes of your vision dangling from it. He's seen his fair share of different ears, but yours appear unique. You always manage to catch him staring, allowing you to attack him with teases.

"You like how I wear my vision, don't you? Dear me, don't shy away now. You've already gotten this far. Might as well ask the question. Go on, we have all the time in the world right now.

I can see him attempting to accessorize similarly to you. Specifically, he would provide you with several ear cuffs or earrings to wear to stay current with fashion. Maybe matching bracelets might also be fitting with custom charms on it, and perhaps matching phonecases can accompany that.

In the middle of PE, it was when he noticed that you never had your tail in eyesight. Which honestly confused him, he spent the entire class questioning where did it go or what happened to it. He really thought you didn't even have one until you cleared up the misconception.

"So, you want to see my tail? Alright then, close your eyes and count to 10. Pfft, you really thought I was going to show them? In your dreams."

He was definitely disappointed to open his eyes to seeing nothing out of the ordinary. At this point, he might as well photoshop one on you.

The first time, you saw Cater's clones in action. The first thing you thought was 'He'd be useful for the Publishing House', but sadly, that idea was shut down by riddle. It seems he is holding a small grudge against you from your first interaction.

"Tsk, Tsk what a pity. I would have loved to snatch you up for the Publishing House. But it seems your housewarden doesn't like to share."

Despite his repeated attempts to catch you off guard for the camera, you consistently seem to be one step ahead of him. It doesn't matter what kind of setting you're in—a kitsune like yourself is very photogenic. The images of the two of you together and of you tend to circulate more on the magicam website due to both of you having the same energy in photos.

Cater is not exempt from your jokes and pranks. You take pleasure in watching him wriggle in his seat and make an effort to divert his attention away from you by using his phone. He is aware that you are still wearing a smile. That's right, this is a great method to kill time in class.

Despite the continual taunting, Cater appreciates your reliability and thanks you for that. His academic progress is always maintained by you, notably in his literature class. You, by his side, ensure that he never becomes sluggish of attempt to find an easy way out. Though he can't help but feel uneasy in the pit of his stomach on days when he must ask for your assistance. Especially with essays.

"I see, so you've come to me for help. What do I receive in this exchange?"

"I can-"

"Hm? What? Your loyalty? Ah yes, I would very much like that. Start by assisting me around the publishing house; I won't take no for an answer.'

Needless to say, Cater had a lot of rewriting to do. The essay should be interesting for the teacher but for her as well.

"I still can't see how adding a love story and a boss battle is a key detail...when we're researching about Dwarf's Mines."

"Well, the writing should at least be entertaining, but fine, Since you want to keep it as historically accurate as possible; let's see what you come up with."

the theories that have been presented on this cast + one of my own :)

I do want to mention that I strongly believe this is a prequel due to a conversation I had with a bunch of people on discord earlier. (Everyone was 16+, dw.)

I haven’t seen anything about the first two at all so far, so I’ll be skipping over them and onto the third guy (oh my fucking lord).

It seems that here this guy has some sort of relationship to XF-Future Tech, which if you’ve seen Min’s side story, you’d know is the company that came into her life and groomed her to be the Ultimate Student. She received special tutoring for them and worked her ass off for that title her entire life because of that. Next, this guy shares the same tie pin she does, and it’s also very notable that she dresses up with the same button down and tie in her MV. Not only do I think she is linked to the company now, but she might be working there before she was in the game. Who knows, though.

Next, I have not seen anything on the fourth girl besides a bunch of people on discord theorizing what the dandelion in her hair could mean. Unfortunately dandelions have different meanings from different cultures all over the world, so until it’s specified about where she’s from, I don’t think there’s many assumptions we can make yet.

Number Five, the purple guy.

Everyone seems to think so far that this is Elliot Cuevas, Charles Cuevas’s deceased brother. Now let me tell you that although I can’t see it based off design, the way he looks (playful and kinda weird but happy) and the way he was described by the creator in the latest qna (a popular joyous dude), can definitely make me see this being real. The only thing that is super far fetched about this is that we know he died a long time ago, and so if this is a prequel, it would have to be at least 15 years before drdt even starts.

Here’s also some more evidence from @sunlit-haru supporting the ‘that’s Elliot’ theory.

Now we’re up to the protagonist, who mind you is definitely my favorite so far. I will eliminate the rest of you protag dickriders so I will be the only simp left.

ANYWAYS, in the about page for this, it’s stated that this is a fangan for someone who wants to be the perfect teacher. Now with the hidden quote on the drdt tumblr page about this teacher…

Uh oh. I think we’ve figured out who this mysterious teacher might be. As for who is talking to them, I’ve personally got a few ideas, but they are not backed with any evidence.

1. The mastermind from this first killing game

2. Mai Akasaki or David Chiem still

3. The mastermind of the drdt killing game

Whoever it is, I think that these games are surely related and that each current kg participant does have a relation with one of these cast members. And that previous killing game’s end is why this one is happening.

Then, based off the post up top and a few others, people seem to think this is Teruko’s brother. I’m going to give a wild theory (no evidence) that Mai Akasaki knows him, only bc of the red in his hair. Then I think Mai would’ve found Teruko, and she would’ve been trying to reconnect them. Just a theory, though. There’s no evidence based around that this guy might be Teruko’s brother though, sadly.

Sadly I cannot link the image of what the phone number gets to, but it gets linked to a yellow pill. I don’t have any ideas on how it would relate to the game, but I think it does. It’s used for high blood pressure and heart failure. If he’s really related to Teruko, I wouldn’t be surprised if he had high blood pressure lmao.

Also, the area code for 555 is just North America.

Here’s what I found on Wikipedia:

I don’t understand the first part, but it seems that this is a fictional number. If someone could explain to me wtf that first part even memes, I might be able to give more info.

Anyways, it seems that this guy ended up being a teacher at HPA, before or after the killing game. But I think this was very worth mentioning.

Unfortunately I’ve seen nothing about the next two, but I want to say that the girl in all pink (#8) I think is Felicity Giles, if that’s even possible. I just feel that’s Arturo’s sister. I know, I’m a weirdo. Even if #7 looks more like Arturo, I just cannot see it.

Moving on, nine and ten! If you look at them closely they’ve got the same eye pattern, suggesting they’re siblings, or likely twins, since they’ve got the fire/ice scheme going on.

Lastly, eleven which oh my god, Arturo’s dream girl! But she’s been theorized to be Whit’s mom. Here’s the post that argues a pretty convincing reason of why.

Oh boy. That woman is pretty cool and is very elegant, and has the same shade of blond hair that Whit dyed his too. I don’t think she’s any coincidence.

But joining along on that last little paragraph of this person’s post, it’s starting to seem a lot of characters do have connections to this cast and are seemingly mentioned quite a few times.

Matty, ATVB, Simulacra and Simulation

responding to a question that someone asked ( which @abiiors has been kind enough to pass on to me). Here’s a brief explanation that I hope makes some kind of sense. ( please easy on my friends yall. Their blogs aren’t means of contacting me🩷)

it’s all very ✨meta✨ and ✨postmodern✨ I’m not really joking this is the kind of philosophy that Matty is referencing when he calls things “postmodern” or “meta.” So, strap in. Grab a snack or a drink or a joint.

ANYWAYS!

The relationship between art/ media, and “reality” has been a hot issue of contention for philosophy going alllllll the way back to Ancient Greece where Plato argued that artists are “liars” who “copy” reality and try to pass it off as real. 

This obviously brings up questions regarding imitation, invention, recording, copying, representation, transcribing, etc etc etc. 

the book that Matty is referencing Simulacra and Simulation takes up these issues in the context of our current society (postmodernist, late stage capitalist society). 

The book argues that we have become sooo obsessed with media that we have replaced “real life” with it. We treat images, recordings, video, memes, etc as real as the things that they are based on (real life). 

In this way, what we know now as reality is actually a simulation of reality. 

According to the book, this did not happen overnight. It’s something that we moved towards over centuries. The real move likely started in the 1600s and it took until the 20th century to get us to the point where we are now. 

“Simulacra” is all the excessive media that we have used to replace the real world. Signs, symbols, ads, billboards, video, sound bites, etc. 

simulacra are NOT “pretending” to be real or “hiding” the truth. They have simply BECOME THE TRUTH because we treat them as true.

The book refers to this phenomenon as “hyper reality.” Like more real than the real. The thing that we started off simply recording or copying (“real life”) has turned into “less real” than thecopy of it (the video, picture, movie, insta post, etc).

The book makes a dramatic analogy of this by telling a hypothetical scenario where someone decided to make a map of a giant empire that is soooo detailed and accurate that it becomes as large as the empire itself. So people start to treated as if it ISSSS the empire. Not a map of it. 

Fun fuckin fact: this book came out in the 80s lmao. So before social media. Imagine how wild it would be today?

Why is Matty referencing this book? 

Well, let’s take a look at his Instagram posts (pause for a moment to consider the irony that he’s posting an Instagram story of a book about how everything is basically an Instagram story of reality. Peak Matty Healy? I think so. )

The first quote that he posted is

 Simulating is not pretending: "Whoever fakes an illness can simply stay in bed and make everyone believe he is ill. Whoever simulates an illness produces in himself some of the symptoms.”

As I said above, simulation is not meant to “trick you” its not covering something real underneath. It IS the thing now. It’s acquired the status of being real. So, if someone goes so far as to act sick, stay in bed, make themselves sneeze, cough, stay up all night so that their eyes are red and they haven’t slept and they’re super tired, they might as well BE SICK. in fact now they AREEEE SICK they’re not pretending. 

2. The second quote is 

Therefore, pretending...leaves the principle of reality intact: the difference is always clear, it is simply masked, whereas simulation threatens the difference between the "true" and the “false,the real" and the imaginary 

“Pretending” would be considered lying. Like there is a truth distinct from what you are portraying and you seek to hide the truth by portraying it differently. “Simulation” however doesn’t leave any difference between what’s true and what you show publicly, the two collapse into one another. 

What does this have to do with ATVB?

Well, Matty is taking us back to “If it’s method acting but what you’re acting is actually your real life then what’s acting and what’s real?” Right?

There are, of course, other ways to extend this conundrum in light of 2023. That is, what’s rhetorical difference between “Truman Black” and “Matty Healy”? What’s the difference between the public perception of Matty Healy and the “real” Matty Healy? (Is there even such a thing?) If he commits to a joke or a bit AI HARD is the “bit” even a bit anymore? If not, does it lose its effectiveness? Cuz obviously people do acts  BECAUSE they’re acts. They’re not reality. Except we now live in a world where all “acts” can and are indeed real. 

Furthermore: is there a difference between the first and the second halves of the show? During SATVB NA the answer was no most of the time. Because they blended the setlist. BFIAFL and greatest hits were no longer clearly separated. They played bits of both at the same time. 

If all of this is true, what then does it even mean to be “sincere” or “earnest” in a world where everything has an equal degree of reality all the time?

hey saw ur comment on the man city fix it fic ab Jamie’s fathers death & was wondering what u disliked ab the Jamie’s mum and Simon part? not judging or anything im just curious!!

yeaaaaaaah so! from what ive seen at least this is a not particularly common opinion which is fine, im aware i have some particular biases and priorities and whatnot in this area, but it just… i didnt like that stuff at all. it really put me off actually, for a couple reasons. i'll get into why, but i know a lot of people like Really Loved that stuff and especially his mom - and it also gets a little down on season 3 and the writing team as a whole at some points lmao - so i'll put it under a cut.

(this got. very long. im so sorry.)

it basically boils down to a couple things: 1. what they presented us with doesn't hold water if poked literally at all in any direction, 2. it made me feel a little uncomfortable given the way everything else in jamie's arc played out, and 3. if they were going to do something like this, they needed WAY more time and narrative space to execute it well in general and specifically for ME to execute it in a way that didn't leave a bad taste in my mouth.

there are a few things that i generally dread when you have a character who's presented to have some serious trauma related to their family and specifically to an abusive parent, and one of those things is the sudden inclusion of another parent in there who is just. everything is totally fine and normal and happy and not at all complicated with them! it always makes me feel weird and bad when that happens, especially when there is no explanation provided for how that like. fits in with the abuse we know they experienced as well. that is a matter of personal preference, and i can own that. i just don't like it, and it makes me feel weird and uneasy. and that's part of it here, but what's also part of it is that i think that - my personal feelings about this type of character choice overall aside - they did not execute it well given the story they'd already presented us with, the way they used these new characters, and how much time they spent on it.

the image they presented of jamie's mom and stepdad is like… very simple and positive and shiny and uncomplicated. it's just good. they just love and support him and are a positive and affectionate active presence. and that might seem like an unfair characterization of it because we saw very little and we know very little of what their relationship is actually like - we don't know what might be complicated, what might be messy, how often they talk, etc - but that’s honestly part of my issue here. we were given a sliver of a glimpse into jamie's mom and his relationship with her and his stepdad when jamie as a character is someone who is hugely defined by his family history and the baggage and trauma and danger associated with it. if they were going to do this, they needed to spend way more time on it. they needed to introduce her earlier, do something to make it jive with what we were already presented about her: some vague mentions, half of which were in past tense, and all of which seemed to imply very strongly that if she were alive (which there was a lot of confusion about!) then they were likely to some degree estranged, because it seemed pretty clear with the 'i don't know if she would be [proud] lately' bit that he literally did not know what she thought of him in recent years. and like. it seems like i'm nitpicking, but again, this is a character who has been so strongly based in and defined by his family and the like. past and current danger and trauma associated with it.

especially given how little time or attention was given to everything else with his family, it was just way too late in the game to introduce these characters and be able to do them and their relationship with the existing characters justice. like you’ve already got a complicated story you’re skipping most of and not giving its due do you really need to add more really complicated stuff in there. and then just go actually it's not complicated don't worry about it :) like. that just doesn't work for me.

so that's where i'm at like, not only do i inherently dislike this sort of element introduced with this type of character, which is a me problem, i also think the story they presented in that episode with his mom and simon just flat out didn't make sense and they did not have the time to make it make sense even if they'd tried, which they didn't. like... if things are just fine and normal and easy with them and she’s just great and loving and supportive it’s like i. So What Happened, Then.

it makes his entire arc make less sense. if she's just Been Here what happened? why did he need to be reminded that not EVERYONE in his life was out to get him? why did keeley have to tell him to stop battling everyone that was just trying to help him? why is he so isolated and adrift at the beginning of season two? why did she never attend a single match? why did we never see him text or call or mention her in a contemporary way? like there COULD be answers to those things that make sense with what they presented, but we didn't get any of those answers and those are big questions to me given they comprise like... all of jamie's character arc lmao. at the end of the day, throwing in the stuff with his mom feels... really disrespectful to the story they wrote with him (that they already fell down on the job with) to just throw that in there with no consideration or attention paid to how it fits with or impacts anything already established.

i truly don't think that every question needs to be answered in a story. i am not saying that. i'm not saying someone needed to turn to the audience and go here's the logistic details of exactly how and when everything that happened with jamie and his parents happened. but there are some serious issues with like, telling a coherent story, and utilizing the extremely limited narrative space that a secondary character in an ensemble show can be afforded. (especially when in season three it really felt like they were already racing through characters and plot lines and backstory stuff like the goal was to just drop info just to Have It and then never address or do anything with it at all.) why did they do that, is what i keep going back to. you're telling a story with very limited space and a lot of characters. so what was the reason for that stuff to be there? so that someone could lay the 'yea he was a dick but he made you into this person! you're so strong now!' foundation for ted telling jamie to forgive his dad and 'disappointed teacher face' him into saying 'thank you' after the 'fuck you'? or was it just fanservice that you didn't think needed to fit with the rest of the story narratively or thematically? because that's where i keep going back to as well.

it just... and this is the bitchier, more spiteful part of me saying this, the part that was PROFOUNDLY let down by the way they handled the aspects of jamie's arc to do with his family and with the abuse he suffered, but it feels like an attempt to use happy sparkly fanservice-y funny and feel-good scenes with his adorable mom and sweet stepdad to like. pull way back on the rest of his whole situation with his family like see no he’s fine! isn’t it great how funny and adorable his mom is! isnt his stepdad fun! everything is fine actually things with his dad are just ~complicated because james drinks :) (and then all he needs to do about that is grow up and forgive, he's just a melodramatic mama's boy, the pain is his fault and he'll be fine once he Forgives, and rehab fixes everything). i don't have some kind of conspiracy that this was their actual reasoning but that's how it hit to me - whoops we don't actually want to deal with the abuse so we're gonna sweep it way under the couch and look! see! here's his cute fun mom isn't she great! (He's Fine Don't Worry About It, His Family Is Actually Sooooo Supportive!)

but yeah that's the bitchy and unfair part of me so. that's not really my main point.

(i also gotta say everything about that sequence with jamie and company at his mom's house feels like... tissue paper thin and very fucking weird from both a narrative and a logistical point of view. the stuff with the actual people of his mom and stepdad aside, what the hell was up with his room? what was that poster of keeley doing there. when did that go up. how old was he when he put it there. yeah she's older than him by a fair bit but not THAT much older. and if he was putting it up as like, a teenager or something, why is the rest of that room decorated for a seven year old. parents preserve their kids rooms like shrines this is true but the idea of a like, jamie in his mid/late teens or whatever putting that poster of keeley up but also sleeping in a little kid's bed still is like... did you think about this at all. it really does not seem like you did. At All. it just goes to my spiteful fringe theory about that whole sequence which is “oh this is pure 100% gratuitous backpatting fanservice that nobody actually thought about in any real way whatsoever”)

sorry this got so long but i have a lot of thoughts on this and they get kicked up every time i see posts gushing about how much people loved georgie or those scenes or whatnot like everyone is of course entitled to their opinion and i don't hold it against anyone! but that stuff hit way different for me and just added insult to injury in an episode that generally seemed to handle jamie and his situation in a way i found cringeworthy and weird at best and offensive and victim blaming at worst.

Trans James Potter headcanons

This is just me brain dumping for my current prongsfoot WIP where James is a stealth trans guy and how this would affect the way he navigates relationships and his place in society. I try to base my writing on canon text so let me know if anything is inconsistent with the books

Not much would change. I see Sirius as someone who genuinely doesn’t care for a guys physical traits when it comes to falling in love. He’s perceptive and can see past a persons facade in seconds. He sees James as just another guy and falls for him because of his character— anatomy be damned. So wrt to their relationship they’d still be obsessed with each other and fit into that ‘two bodies one soul’ narrative

Nothing is off limits between them so I imagine Sirius would be very involved in James’ transition. He helps him do his T shots and he’s always the first person to notice and be told when James goes through a certain change

James would be the type to identify as a guy his entire life. It’s established in the books that his parents were very doting and wealthy, so even though they’re elderly I think they would accept James as their son and he’d have the support available to transition early on. James would be such a different person if his parents didn’t spoil him as a child, so I want to keep that aspect of his upbringing no matter what.

the way he would view his trans-ness would differ greatly from the current generation. I imagine there would be a huge dissonance between him and the label “trans” because he’s seen himself as a guy for as long as he can remember.

His idea of masculinity would be very hetero-normative given the time period he was raised in. His parents were happily married his entire life and I think their relationship would influence how he imagines his own future to be like. He wants to be a father to a child and a husband to a wife, and he subconsciously decides that that is the way a man should be.

In Snape's Worst Memory it’s implied that James cared a lot about what others think. I’ve already written about how prongsfoot (james/sirius) is queer coded. To add to that, there are two possible ways by which James deals with his not-so-platonic feelings for Sirius. One, he accepts these feelings much more easily than he would have in canon because he’s already trans so what’s a little more queerness. Two, he denies these feelings, preferring to stick to the hetero-normative standards set by his parents and society. (Both possibilities are based on my own experiences as a trans guy so trust me, trans people can still experience internalised homophobia)

On a more lighthearted note he’s the type of guy to try to put a permanent sticking charm on his packer/STP device lol. Key word: try. Sirius would talk him out of it but he would at some point find a way to use magic to keep his packer from falling out in the changing rooms etc.

His confidence would only grow once T starts taking effect on his body. He'd probably brag about his bottom growth to Sirius which, unbeknownst to James, ends up flustering Sirius a LOT

He doesn't bind because even though puberty blockers weren't used back in the 60s/70s, let's just say Monty and Effie found a magical alternative like a potion for example

idk if the wizarding world has its own equivalent of gender affirming care and I highly doubt JKR ever wrote about it, so I'll go off on a limb and say James uses both muggle and wizarding methods to transition depending on what's more convenient for the plot of my fic

i think redd is good being left nice and simple! i think the simplicity adds a lot in his case. but i wanna give him slicked back hair, kinda like crocodile from one piece but a bit messier and mb a lil curly to add a bit more uniqueness?? also small demon horns cause the red motif goes hard with that idea + the suit he wears. i also dont know if i wanna keep his face featureless or give him a mask thats a rly similar red to his skin

do you know how hard it is to fabricate an OC without feeling like you're attaching them too acutely to the main story / giving them main character syndrome. anyway, here's ki's basic lore. it's very much altered from when i first designed him, so the art is very much based on his initial conceptualisation and was commissioned by me through a friend ( i dont have the artists twitter but i will do my utmost to source it for credit sake ) i'll also add a face claim i once had of him which does depict him more in his time on the xianzhou. < i did a bit of adjusting, thank u 2 saint >

It is said that when a foxian kit reaches for one of three objects a path will be granted to them and for him, it was the sword. with a proclivity for close quarters combat and expertise in swords play it was inevitable that when the advent of war came to the xianzhou and with that, the third abundance war, that he would rise to meet the military’s call to arms. by this time he was a prominent swordsman, with skills that hindered the abundance’s troops. however, when the rainbow arbiter struck down the armies and the perpetuated bloodshed came to its conclusion he was tallied amongst those fallen. he does not recall vividly the days of conflict, if anything they are amorphous hauntings of a life before and suffused with suffering. he died on the battlefield and alongside did his identity. Ki cannot say precisely who spared his life on that calamitous field of death and fire but he awoke, facilitated for healing, the consensus came to between the almost fatally wounded foxian and the benefactor was that in exchange for his life, he would pledge his to the benefactor. with his memories nothing but an incessant pang of  reminiscence for a blade he once wielded, he accepted the masked strangers offer and thus, their pact was sealed. the foxian works at a tavern, often utilized by the masked fools as a place of revelry. as the barkeep Ki is an affable, compassionate man who accommodates those who find themselves at the tavern, drawn into a mystical, if not perilous world of mirthful carousing. there is little left of the once ambitious, exuberant youth who had wielded his blade for the sake of his homeland. he has had contact consistently with his benefactor, a masked man, whose face was never revealed to him, both in the tavern and in the outside world, he knows himself to be an asset to that man and continues to operate under the understanding that he owes this person his life. any semblance of the life he once led comes back to him only in abstract dreams, a face, or a blade, or an inundation of surging crimson blood and agony. He believes, truthfully, that the life he follows now is more peaceful and holds no intention of his own to return to his homelands. for the sake of gathering intel, keeping tabs on the operations of specific, influential individuals and those who fall to inebriation to elevate their spirits, he was allocated to work in penacony, as a bartender in the entertainment district of the dreamscape. He’s made quite a name for himself as one who is both eloquent and talented at mixing a delicious cocktail or two. Ki, currently, maintains the facade of an employee while also furtively supplying information to his benefactor. Here it is, the true (super belated) Valentine’s Day picture. Yet another cringe crossover absolutely nobody asked for yet I deliver because I can. Apologies if I’ve been posting way too much South Park stuff, it’s yet another franchise that I’m currently unhealthily hyper-fixated on. This was also made as a small tribute to Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball after I found out that he passed away earlier this month on March 1st. Even though I’m a casual fan of the series, still makes me sad that he’s no longer and that we lost another anime/manga legend.

This whole art became a thing based on a phone call between me and one of my older brothers. We were just talking about random dumb stuff and he jokingly asked me to draw Cartman as Naruto and Kyle as Saskue (which is an art project that y’all know damn well I’ll be drawing in the future so look out for that lmao). I just started laughing to myself, but then I thought to myself, “What other anime could I cross over with South Park?” then Dragon Ball popped up in my head all of a sudden, and that’s how this cringefest came to be.

I can kinda see some connections with it, tbh. Both Goku and Randy are dumbass but funny as hell dads (they also have black hair), and both Chichi and Sharon are no-nonsense moms who are often exasperated by their hubbies’ idiotic actions, but do love them deep down and have shared some wholesome cute moments together with them. Both series also feature a lot of fighting and deaths too lol

I thought I would take forever with this picture because a. I’m total garbage at drawing realistic-ish, non-animal guy characters, and b. I don’t draw side-view faces that much, but surprisingly it wasn’t too hard. I did get kinda lazy with the lower half of Randy’s body and didn’t draw it, but besides that, the whole art was pretty easy. Minus drawing the hands. Because Jesus tap dancing Christ, the hands took me lightyears to get right 🙃

All in all, this might be one of my favorite 2024 pieces of art I’ve drawn so far. Again, these two are special to me, and I finally got the chance to cross over some of my favorite things, cartoons and anime. Maybe I might draw Stan and Wendy as Gohan and Videl in the future as a little follow-up ^^

Also, the mental image of Randy going Super Saiyan is just the funniest shit to me, istg someone needs to make fanart, an animation, or some other sort of meme of that 💀

I ve just started my second semester so obviously its time for me to start working on a wide array of projects lmao

i still have the color deconstructor and the pixelart choose-your-adventure game on the backburner. my teacher gave me some advice for the first one and i was gonna do it during hollidays but then i realized it'd be the 4th time i do it and i almost lost all my motivation. im thinking about doing both of them as part of my neocity site but i need to learn openGL/webGL so that's dependent on me finding a good book for that

ideas for drawings are few and far between and the motivation to do them is even lower. i've actually thinking about doing an extra comic for my terumob comic series

once in a while i do some coding but the results aren't flashy enough for me to talk about it here. lots of color manipulation and stuff using images like this code that limits the colors of an image based on the colors of the second image (i know it looks ugly, i coded it just now)

something i've been thinking about is the way dwarf fortress deals with animals and other creatures. you have RAW files made out of tokens, like these from the unicorn (incomplete):

Hi Esmee! I just wanted to say ily and thank you soooo much. The advice you gave me in August helped me get and I finally got an interview with Southwest. The headquarters is in my city so my first interview is F2F. I’m very nervous because really terrible at makeup and nail stuff, even at 23 years old it’s so embarrassing and I don’t know what I should do, I’m freaking out because I only have a week and a half left! I already have my outfit picked out I would like to send a photo to see what you think but I can’t on anon😖😖

Omg YAY congratulations! 🥳🎉 You’re very welcome, that’s so exciting!!! Just so you know, even if you live in the same city/state as headquarters they will only bring you in straight away for F2F if your app really stands out. SWA always does video or phone to start, so this is a good sign! That will be your first and only interview. Be proud because you skipped a whole step! 🤩

Sorry for the kind of late reply, I had a busy day yesterday and I wanted to be as informative as possible because I have been in your shoes and I know how nerve wracking and overwhelming it can be. Numerous airlines are shifting away from makeup being a requirement for female flight attendants. When I flew mainline, I didn’t wear makeup to training and I rarely wore it to fly, never had any issues. Don’t psych yourself out because I still don’t feel like I’ve perfected mine, and I do just fine at recurrent training and inflight. Also, here is from a video from last night with no filter after I took off my makeup to show what my skin looks like currently. I won’t try to act like I have much to cover up because I don’t. I have my mom’s genetics and she never had acne. My skin is consistent for the most part, so I’m not the greatest person to ask if you have issues with your skin.<3 I just do natural monochrome makeup with rose gold colors to match my warm undertone! Don’t be embarrassed or intimidated, because I’m not very skilled at makeup either and I’m 26 years old lmao.

I wear sunscreen everyday, the neutrogena hydroboost because it’s water based and makes your skin glowy and no white cast! Bb cream, cream blush/bronze, mascara, powder (nars translucent light reflecting powder is the prettiest ever), elf coconut setting spray, a sparkly pink eyeshadow and abh eyebrow powder. I only use concealer if I have a spot, nars matte pot concealer lasts me the whole year and looks perfect. Under eye concealer is very bad for your skin. The under eye skin is very thin and absorbs makeup faster and deeper, makeup blocks the pores and eventually makes your under eye skin look even more dark and dull.

For eyes I use glossier lidstar in cub which is really easy to work with. It’s liquid/cream rose gold, doesn’t crease, and you can build it up to look really metallic and concentrated. They have a pastel pink shade for fair complexions as well, I forget the name but it will be on their website and at Sephora too I believe. My sister uses it and it’s just as cute! If you prefer powder eyeshadow, I sometimes wear the Charlotte Tilbury pop shot in the color pillow talk diamonds. It’s super pretty and the glitter is very fine so it looks natural and just makes your eyes sparkle.<3 It’s a little more intense than the glossier one, so it’s nice for special occasions and the quality is A+. These are the only two eyeshadows I own and they don’t require blending or anything frivolous of that nature, I always get compliments on my eyes when I wear them!

On google image, I could only find people putting it on the sheer way, so I had to use my Polynesian eyes for reference lmao →😁. But hopefully you can see what I mean by building it up to be metallic. I only put it on my actual eyelid part, because the technique of putting on eyeshadow up to your eyebrow (like the photo on the right) looks crazy on me when I do it. I don’t think I have the eye shape or skill set for that style. Btw, this is how my makeup looks without filter in outside lighting. My eyebrows are not done, but I think it looks pretty good other than that.

Matte red lipstick is recommended during f2f and while flying, but I just can’t lmao! I really dislike the look of lipstick on me. I tried wearing it for my first f2f and I felt very self conscious and not myself. Plus, it’s such a hassle to have to keep fixing it and making it look perfect. Anyway, it might look pretty on you, but if not try tinted chapstick or lipgloss, they’re easier to work with and look nice. The four I own are Fenty glow gloss bomb (perfect rose gold lipgloss), Glossier Red, the Burt’s bees pomegranate chapstick and the red dahlia shade. You can get the chapsticks at target and they’re very natural and pretty.

I can do this all in less than 20 minutes! Also, try not to wear makeup unless working or going to an event, it keeps your skin in good health. I just do sunscreen on my free time and Biossance skincare most nights, it’s my holy grail brand and I don’t really use any other skincares.

For nails, I normally get a white gel manicure or a French manicure, oval shape for both. Sometimes I get acrylics (pink/white ombré, coffin shape because the oval breaks faster) if I know I’m having a busy month. You use your hands a lot and won’t have time to find a reputable salon or go and get a touch up on gels while traveling. With acrylics, nothing fancy or super long, no gems or accent nails! Keep it as natural as possible and just wear simple rings if you want accessories. If you do get acrylics, make sure you get a nail brush to clean the underside when you wash your hands. It’s a must! You should always research and look at reviews for any salon you go to, because some of these places are uncleanly and you will end up with fungus on your nails or infected cuticles.

To take good care of my natural nails I use the OPI nail envy and CND solar cuticle oil. If I do my own nails, I use Sally Hansen cuticle remover, and either Sally Hansen Xtreme in invisible (clear) or the Chanel nail polish in insomniaque (white). Chanel polish is expensive, but it lasts weeks without chipping. I tossed all my other nail polishes awhile back so it’s the only one I use besides clear. I’m not buying nail polishes anymore because white nail polish goes with everything and it’s appropriate for any occasion/season. If I make a mistake I go into the side of my nails with a plastic cuticle pusher (it’s so precise) or a Qtip with Zoya nail polish remover. Again, that’s the only nail polish remover I use. The straight acetone from the drug store tears up your nails and cuticles overtime. My mom taught me to always use a glass nail file on my real nails, never an emery board. Glass nail files are a bit more time consuming, but it’s worth it if you don’t want your nails to split. I keep this one in my purse! It’s cheap and lasts years if you take good care of it.

Also, come off anonymous to show me your outfit, I won’t bite! If you’re too shy no worries<3 I always do a fitted ribbed turtleneck, respectable high waisted skirt (no minis!!!), and black sheer tights/nude tights with a 2-inch heel or ballet flats. All black everything! It looks professional, elegant and modest. Make sure to steam/iron!!

Once you go inflight, please invest in well made genuine LEATHER shoes, comfort shoe inserts, a shoe shining kit, compression tights and a GOOD flight bag. It’s very important if you want to be comfortable and save $$$. Having your feet swell up in cheap shoes you have to keep replacing will literally make you want to go postal. Only buy round toe, no square or pointed. Those shapes destroy your posture and the motor of your feet PERMANENTLY and they will cause your feet to become pointed like a triangle in a way that’s irreversible. You will save yourself so many blisters. No compression tights = pain, swelling, and varicose veins, so please compress!<3

I don’t know what brand of heels I wear exactly because I got them at some random boutique, but they look nearly identical to the ones in the photo. I have Repetto lou ballerinas, a patent pair and regular pair and I’m obsessed with them. Worth ever single penty lol. The craftsmanship and fit are unmatchable. Some airlines don’t allow ballet flats, so you’ll have to check with SWA. I’m allowed it at my airline, plus I wear them outside of work with my outfits so win win. I always shine my shoes after I wear them because it keeps them in good condition and reminds me to look and make sure I don’t need to take them to the cobbler for repairs.

I get teased for my heels sometimes but I literally do no care lmao, they’re cute to me and also, the heels with the thin stem (or whatever it’s called) are not suitable for working in unless you want nerve damage. There’s 0 reasons to be walking through the airport in stilettos, that’s insane.

The bag I have is the nylon OG 2 size large from Lo & Sons. Perfect shape (it’s so cute and unique), love the gold hardware, multiple pockets to organize my iPad and paperwork, inside water bottle holder, shoe compartment at the bottom, I can fit at least two outfits/uniforms in this thing, and it has the back part where you can slide it over your luggage handle if you don’t want to use luggage hooks. I searched high and low for a bag shaped like this that has gold hardware to match my jewelry. I’m really particular lol, so it’s chefs kiss fr. I’m obsessed with it and I’ve never seen another person carrying it. Almost every flight attendant I know carries Tumi and the bags are like $800 when they’re not even that good. 😭💔 Always keep your crew tags on your luggage because baggage handlers will have more respect for your items that way. Many of them slam people’s belongings around habitually and that crew tag really makes them stop and think. If they tear up crew luggage the airport is responsible for replacing it. Like, they have to write you a check stat. I didn’t know this until my second year flying.

Here is the crew cooler that every flight attendant waxes poetic about including me. 48-can all back. It doubles as a carry on if you don’t want to pack your meals/snacks in it.

If you wear a perfume, try to wear something that’s not overpowering. D&G pour femme is my signature scent because it’s feminine and cute. Marshmallow and babydoll is how I describe it, so go for something soft like that if you can. The amount of people who come in wearing Chanel N°5 and Dior Sauvage is absolutely insane, and it’s at every single recruitment/training too. 😭 I know the smells by heart now. No hate to other people’s signature scents, but it’s literally nauseating when everyone and their mother is drenched. Less is more when it come to perfume imo. You want recruiters to be focused on your personality not your fragrance.

IMPORTANT FOR YOUR NERVES:

If you haven’t looked into STAR method for interviews do it asap so you can practice, all airlines use it!

If you have any tattoos, they have to be small enough for you to cover up or else they won’t pick you. Most flight attendants I know use derma blender foundation because it’s waterproof and full coverage. If they can be seen when you have a short sleeve and skirt on, that is a problem. It needs to be made undetectable with foundation because the recruiters and instructors will be watching you like a hawk when you interview, train, and do your ditch.

Make sure your hair is a natural color.

You need to have your passport!!!! I didn’t have mine during my first F2F because they never told me and I didn’t think about that. They were not very happy about it and I had to pay extra in order to have it expedited. It was nerve wracking because if you don’t have your passport by the time you do your IOE they send you home.

Make sure to stay off your phone and mingle with other interviewees at your F2F or else you will look antisocial.

I’m sure they didn’t tell you this, but you’re taking a 5-panel drug test that same day after after you get your training date. DOT is onsite and they don’t play. Whoever fails is banned from reapplying to ANY commercial or private airline for up 5 years, FAA regs.

Lastly, when you get home after your interview immediately start memorizing American IATA and airline codes, you will be grateful you did in the long run. Training is like doing a full semester of college in one month. There is so much to learn and memorize so it’s good to get a head start.

Anyway, I hope this was helpful. Don’t feel pressured to get any of these exact items, but hopefully you can use it as inspo!<3 Remember to show your true personality and smile, it shows your inner beauty and happiness! Southwest flight attendants are very laid back and silly, they like doing their little jokes during their takeoff and landing lol. You will love them. hes gonna have this little gag where he sometimes edits images on his screens as he speaks so it looks like hes constantly giving a PowerPoint presentation

He has these ethereal vibes going on with him, with choir sounds appearing everytime hes on screen but hes actually very friendly which i think is a kinda funny contrast

I also finally got to figure out an actual plot for the thingy :DD all of the machines are slowly starting to shut down and the scientists are all frozen because sending them back to earth was too expensive, the tests chambers are also technically abandoned because there are cores maintaining these still but there are no test subjects because they're all frozen, no responses from GLaDOS either because she stopped paying attention to that failed project and She Does Not Like These Guys so they're completely on their own

I feel like it might come off as dumb because im scared of ppl making fun of my thing!!1!1!!!! but like 😭😭 i already got attached to these guys :') . I mean, if they got rocks from the moon it should be possible and plausible for them to build an easy access to the moon itself, right?

If this story does get somewhere and i do actually learn how to make portal mods i want these two to be the most pathetic duo ever. The biggest losers you can think of. I know I've talked about this one before, but adding Skylar as a companion for the NPC Adventures mod!

Featuring dialogue for multiple locations including Vanilla Areas and Expanded.

Currently working on adding dialogue for Ridgeside and East Scarp, and determining if Skylar should be a spiritual pacifist (keeps monsters from attacking for a period of time) or a warrior to help with combat.

6. Kent to NPC Adventures (low-key abandoned wip, but I might pick it back up)

Same thing as above tbh, but for Kent because he's a member of the Adventurer's Guild and my dad and I want to go on expeditions and fish, and he deserves it! [End rant]

Write dialogue for more locations (difficult because I don't see Kent as someone who talks a lot)
