Haha dw about it being overly angsty, tbh a lot of my vettonso stuff seems pretty positive but god I absolutely fucking love the bitterness and angst of them so so much! I point our cute moments and then write meta about how depressing and toxic they both are. But yeah you're so right! This fits them so well, I'm actually dying, just that whole verse is really especially fitting. "Stole my cute aesthetic," literally!! "You crashing your car, you breaking your heart" what if I died??

My thoughts on that part of their relationship is basically. I think eventually, when Fernando came back to f1, he had more sympathy and connected more with Seb after seeing Seb go thru the same shit he did with Ferrari. But I agree with you so much that this song is the vibe of them directly during that era of the seat transfer. First Seb stole his championships, than he stole his seat, and Fernando was in McHonda hell. So even if he comes to sympathize with Seb, as you said there's definitely a feeling of schadenfreude. It's hard to not feel weirdly pleased at the same time when he realizes Seb isn't some fail proof god, he's just as suseptible, just as breakable. There's some level of satisfaction in seeing your rival get broken down in a similar way to how you yourself were broken down. Seb thought he could waltz in and immediately succeed where Fernando failed, but nope, just as cursed and depressing. Ferrari fail boys beloved!

The line "it's coming around" is so fitting. I feel like it probably removed a lot of the upset Fernando had about losing again and again to Seb, bcs he then gets to see Seb lose in the exact same way, falling apart at the last moment, and then all of it falling even further away from him, in an honestly even more painful manner than Fernando himself imo. Agh and the thing about not being jealous, but enjoying watching his downfall. I wonder if he ever felt any premonitions about Seb's career. Like "enjoy your day in the sun now, but itll get dark soon dw." And the "while you're hating yourself, I'm feeling myself" is sooooo wec era. Bcs like Fernando was literally winning races and world championships when Seb's situation kept deteriorating more and more.

🐉 A lot of figures in the Silm have weird Eldritch powers or possibly biology. Tell us about your headcanons for one. Ohhhh I love some good eldritch characters. Unfortunately coming up with it is not exactly my forte, but that doesn't mean I'm not Extremely enthusiastic about trying. Honestly on the eldritch side of things, I don't think people get weird enough with their elves. Especially the old bastards. Like, Galadriel? The girl single handedly made boromir weep by just looking at him. I feel like characters like Galadriel and Glorfindel, even Elrond to some extent should be allowed to exude a level of Ancient and Unknowable that makes everyone who's not on their level viscerally uncomfortable. I don't know if this is relatable to anyone else, but I've been a wilderness guide irl and when you get deep enough in the woods around dusk, there's like a stillness that makes a person feel so small and utterly vulnerable. If you can't come to terms with your own impermanence, it can be honestly kinda existentially terrifying. I feel like that, cranked up to 11 should be the vibe around the Really Old Elves. Goes double for the ones who awoke in Cuiviénen. Also I feel like the Light of the Trees should be more of something but I don't have any specific thoughts, you know?

A ship to go down with? The swan ships. But no really, I'm a bit of a multi-shipper so there are no two character that Must be together in my mind. If I had to pick only one ship though, I'd probably have to go Aredhel and Celegorm. Especially the versions that run close to cannon, bc it hurts so good. When it comes to their dynamics, the way I see them is they both know the interest is mutual, they could have acted on it at any point, but really the fun is in the chase. Something that Celegorm comes to bitterly regret once she's gone, and so does she, which I imagine contributes to why she leaves gondolin in the first place. But, they can't escape their shared restlessness. He's off wandering when she arrives in himlad, too restless to be found, and she is too restless to wait for him. And we all know what happens next. I just find something so compelling in the idea that the exact thing that makes them compatible ultimately causes their downfall as a couple.

I just get the impression that Akechi is Reverie's Mean Bitch Boyfriend and everyone in the Thieves is baffled that they are going out because what the fuck does Reverie see in this guy. And all the girls are like "ooooooh. Okay."

But Akechi just speaks to Reverie on another level. So much of Reverie's life is being contained and not causing too much trouble because his probation thing, but Akechi is like a total fucking asshole and responds best when Reverie is an asshole right back, and like. Man. I get it. I really get it lmao.

Its easy to imagine Reverie hanging out with the gang and saying something just a little too Fucking Mean and they're like "did you have lunch with Akechi" and he's like ".... Oh. Yeah. Whoops. Sorry, I'll dial it back."

MEANWHILE out lil sister is having a hard time. Like, man, not to diminish the pain anyone went through because Maruki's deal, but Yusuke and Futaba and Haru in particular have it really goddamn rough and it's painful.

I love every moment that the game lets you be understanding and empathetic with Futaba.

This moment in particular should be stamped on the brain of everyone who has mental illness. Futaba tries to tell Reverie he should be mad at her, because she's angry with herself and wants to sublimate that emotion onto others. She wants him to be mad at her because then it's almost easier to deal with all of this happening. It's a situation where kindness almost hurts more than the reprimand, but kindness is still what's needed.

Anyway, Futaba pops her final persona. Glow down. I want A Dark Planet Lit By Daft Punk again. 8C It's fine, it's not terrible, the reference is neat, but also sigh.

I do like the Technomancy vibe of Futaba. The framing of her work that way is neat.

Next up is my man Yusuke and okay, one: Yusuke's winter outfit is FLY AS HELL, look at that. Look at how gorgeous that jacket is, with the ink bottle teal and the bold buttons and the skinny jeans. Amazing, truly.

Two, this room makes me want to scream. There is a cardboard box of fruit that makes me think he walked through a park and just picked stuff to eat and then decided it was all too photogenic so its set aside for a still life. The supplies on the floor, the canvases blocking his fucking storage space, this is all just pitch fucking perfect.

Love that he's a prospit dream honestly.

I'll be real, going to every Thief and having them apologize to Reverie for falling for Maruki's trick is a little bit blah, but the extra details for each is fun. The moment when Yusuke is so ashamed he won't even look at Reverie is nice and heartfelt.

This shit reminds me of rich and powerful people who are born into it and haven't experienced hardship for the majority of their lives, so when something mildly inconvenient happens, they treat it like a federal fucking issue because they have no skills to handle anything.

Maruki's plan is to basically eviscerate everyone's personal growth in perpetuity. Like, as you walk around Shibuya and stuff, you do actually overhear people concerned about all this happiness and the lack of contrasts.

I mean, I'm a depressed poor sick queer who grew up in a trailer park. There are moments in my past that define me and they are Not Good moments. I would still not take Maruki's deal.

Maruki needed to meet Toranosuke honestly and talk about societal reform. You know Tora is one of those "what if we gave addicts places to live for free and created a UBI" people.

GLOW DOWN. There was nowhere to go but down when you have the literal best persona in the main cast. But also that Life Wall is amazing.

I overwrote Psy Amp for it. I am dedicated to my build on Haru. She walks up and its time for the Gun Show. I wish she got Akechi's Riot Gun skill, you have NO idea. She'd tear shit UP and give Myriad Truths a run for its money.

anyway here is Futaba and Ann petting Morgana. shout out to Akechi all the way in the back trying to ignore everyone.

ANYWAY we're at the end of this post and I'm gonna complain about Ryuji, feel free to peace out.

So Persona really likes having the one party member who is kind of stupid. Just... not book smart and always doing poorly in class and always missing out on vital information. It's good joke fodder, I get it.

In P4, that was Kanji and Chie, and in P3 it was Junpei. I respect and love these characters, and I have been banging my head against why I just! I just hate Ryuji! I really do! I have never disliked a persona character this much yet!

And I think the thing about Kanji and Junpei and the other Kinda Dumb characters is that they have low book smarts but they are often the most empathetic and emotionally intelligent characters in the game. Kanji was the fucking HEART of the party from the moment he joined onward, was always coming out and says profound shit, was the one who stepped up and was like "hey lets let Naoto and their shadow hash it out, we can handle the fight and this is going to help them." He was the kindest person in the party.

And Junpei, I still think that was some apex of writing, the time when Junpei was like "hey, I apologize for this thing I did to you, it was disrespectful and I'll do better." And his connection to Chidori was the rocket strapped to his arc. He was emotional and kind and he fucked up several times and he apologized for it.

Ryuji just. LACKS THAT ENTIRELY. He doesn't have that. He's not the emotional heart of the team, he struggles to be empathetic, he upsets people and gets off scott-free without an apology. He's treated like the Best Friend and its so completely unearned. I would not tell Ryuji shit about me because I have no confidence in him being cool. He is Yosuke Hanamura without the rebound, it's Joker Mode all the time.

The ball was so thoroughly dropped with Ryuji I'm kinda baffled, because Atlus is usually good at the Token Best Friend guy and making him one of the more complex characters in each game.

Maybe its because Joker himself is such a strong character that Ryuji doesn't need to act as the stand-in protagonist like Junpei and Yosuke did. Or, maybe it's because functionally Morgana fills Ryuji's role in the party instead so those emotionally intelligent moments are given to Morgana instead.

It's weird and frustrating and I am annoyed at Ryuji both in a Watsonian sense and a Doylist sense.

Okay that's enough hateration holleration in this dancery, lets do the Palace.

Why yes I am continuing this, bc I have more time for this but less time to draw due to lowering the number of projects I'm focusing on but also taking only one less credit hour than the allowed max at school, thanks for asking.

Anyway, onto reading The Hidden Kingdom:

How many dragons are in the Talons of Peace? I got the vibe that they were a super small group from the first book, due to the dragonets only knowing the three guardians and Morrowseer, but dragons being surprised that the Talons actually existed.

I know their main purpose was to raise the DoD, but that does bring to question what everyone who was not a guardian did. They didn't serve as any back up or help when the DoD was captured. Or really do anything as the DoD was running around the continent.

It would've been interesting to expand on what they actually did aside from raising the DoD. Did they run relief operations? Help those displaced or injured by the fighting? Etc.? They had some dragons under cover, what did they do?

I've always wondered. If Nightwings are held in such a high regard of being able to perfectly predict the future and read minds, and the Talons (as well as many others) seem to have faith in the prophecy, why bother with the false dragonets at all?

I'd kinda expect Morrowseer to get offended that they're questioning him to the point of having possible replacements who didn't hatch on the brightest nights. I always thought it was Morrowseer's backup plan, but rereading this, I'm realizing it was Nautilus's plan.

Squid knows what's up.

Dragons canonically have tea in WoF, worldbuilding time. Some teas can be made with bone broth, and I'm choosing to assume dragon tea isn't leaf juice so much as bone juice spiced up with some leaves. Since this is only mentioned with Queen Moorhen, it's a Mudwing invention, that might've been adopted by their allies the Skywings, hence why Glory knows what it is.

Hmmm, ya know, it would've been super interesting if the Rainwings actually were the ones behind this in some way but withheld that info from the DoD since they're total strangers.

You could make it work too, a Queendom of reclusive dragons who don't want this terrible war anywhere near their home, so they scare them away. Orr the Queens of the Queendom want to keep their pacifist dragons happy and kill these trespassers in secret to both keep the peace, their own territory, and their way of life safe.

Damn, that's really sad tbh.

I think it says a lot that Glory has had more positive thoughts about FUCKING QUEEN SCARLET than any of the guardians.

Fuck the guardians, all my homies hate the guardians.

Also Glory is touch-averse.

This is meant to be seen as a bad thing that Rainwings don't take prisoners considering how Tui presents them later on and the way this scene is portrayed.

But honestly, Liana has a point, what would they do with them? They're not in the war. They don't need anything from them. At most they'd probably just want them to leave.

This doesn't hint at Rainwing laziness so much as the effect of Glory's hypermilitarized upbringing.

That is super cool.

I imagine Rainwings are world-class botanists, who are quite skilled in breeding plants for particular purposes. An example being flowers that can line your floor and not die from you walking on them everyday, or that perhaps regrow so quickly it seems like they're not dying.

I'm continually upset with the narrative of this book for making Rainwings out to be the exact stereotype everyone thinks they are, because there were a number of directions the messaging could've gone.

Glory goes on to say that sun time probably makes you smarter and fiercer, when really it's just good for your overall physical and mental health.

I'm not saying make the Rainwings especially skilled or scary, as fun as that would be, but she could just let them be peaceful, what's so wrong with that?

This book could've been about Glory --- who was raised to think you always had to keep giving to the world to be worth something, that you should expect the worst in others, that this world with always chew you up and spit you out so you gotta be tough and always hide your vulnerabilities--- realizing that yeah, the Rainwings are genuinely just a peaceful, calm group who do mostly enjoy napping in the sun, and spending time with their friends. That's fine.

There seems to be this thought that you must be sacrificing or suffering in some way to be good or worth respect, but that's not a healthy mindset.

Like the book could've gone the route of Glory getting angry at them for being (in her eyes) uncaring and lazy, content with giving nothing to the world, only for it to be pointed out to her that hey, maybe we don't want to be risking our safety and happiness for petty squabbles that lead to nothing but tears and bloodshed. Maybe we want to live in a place where we can raise our families and live and work alongside friends without fear of war and destruction looming over our heads. What's so wrong with that? Why are they considered stupid for living like that?

Sure others don't live the way you would think is ideal, but who are you to come into their home that they welcomed you into and judge their livelihoods?

Like bitch, I wish I lived there. I wasn't built for the grind.

No, we will not talk about the fact that the Rainwings didn't seem to care when their friends, queen, and students disappeared for long periods of time because I am not emotionally calm enough, and we're not in that part of the book yet.

I also just noticed that, though Glory may hate Kestrel, she also thinks the most like her out of all the DoD, which is... giving me a number of thoughts and ideas.

hmm to be honest i dont have all 9 main character references yet, bc im so particular about how i imagine them to look,, so far i have everyone apart from kai and wolf😭 i havent seen someone that looks how i imagine them on my pinterest yet :( but as for the others, i think ive posted a lot of them before but this is who i have so far :

oh also some of these characters have tweaks i make to the references when i draw them

scarlet:

tweaks: cut off pinkie finger if im drawing her post book 4 (if i remember loll) , fuller cheeks, hair more curly, eyebrow slit because its fun idc that its not canon😩

tweaks: freckles in the rare occasion that i remember, wavy hair, tan if im drawing her after she leaves the satellite, looooong tangled hair if shes still on the sattelite

i dont have an exact winter match so i use these two and kinda merge them

LITERALLY it’s one of my favorite dad concepts ever honestly🥺🥺🥺 I’m not sure if it’s obvious, but all dad bakugo stuff I write I’m imagining him as older when he has his first tbh. Another thing I could talk for years abt but I won’t bc I’m pretty sure I already have.

But LMAOOOO, the squad questioning him about it is so true!!! Cuz not only do they already have teenagers by this point, but he spent the past 15 years talking about how “kids aren’t that great!!!🙄” only to go back on his word the literal second his was born.

He honestly hatessss admitting they were right but when your second is on the way pretty soon after… yeah. He really has no choice ajdhdkj.

(Mostly just us lucky that the older kids like playing with your littles so much. Toting them around like any older siblings would).

I also think one argument for him having a lot of kids too is … he’s deffff super sentimental about it, so if you happen to pull out a newborn onesie when trying to put together outfits for the kids… he’s getting really emotional over it and it gets super easy to convince him to have another LOL. And ofc this ends up happening more than once.

(Just the other day I was thinking about that one tik tok someone sent me on IHB, about being able to make bakugo cry if you tease him w/ baby socks that don’t fit your toddler anymore.)

AND DEKU TOO….. It almost makes even more sense for him than bakugo, tho I really think they both have older dad vibes. Probably the thing happens where you’re pregnant at the exact same time as the other’s wife, and deku and bakugo are lowkey beefing over the fact that it happened for both of them literally… synchronized. Or at least about who’s baby is bigger hdhrjskdjkf. But it also ends up being good bc then they do have a cousin their own age, too🧡🧡🧡

Plus, yeah!!! The country’s baby…….. the country’s favorite dad, too😢 Hardly anyone would’ve predicted it about five years back, but as soon as you’re ready, there’s whole spreads on deku introducing your babby to the world cuz people just can’t get over it. Why I personally liked the poll reference:

Look, it wasn't yet another crowbar joke. It wasn't a poll like in RH/A or B&R, just for an echo of a fucked up thing DC did in the past - even then, it's kinda... hard to say is it an easter egg for the sake of an easter egg, kinda like MCU does; or is it a commentary. With the previous iterations being Morrisson and Lobdell, I don't expect much.

But webtoon seems to get it. Yeah, okay, there is a poll - Bruce shows it to Jason (and correct me if I'm wrong, but where do people get the idea the poll was sourced by Bruce?) - and more people lean toward no, Batman shouldn't keep the new Robin - which, you kinda can interpret it differently. I, for one, would not let Batman keep the new Robin. Or any Robin. Like, okay, don't start with "but he wanted that! he would be doing it anyway!" etc etc bc you clearly don't know what you sound like; the one argument I can accept is "Robin is for kid readers to project to" but this is not, like, in-universe explanation. Imagine being a random Gotham citizen. And a boy younger than you, could be your son, could be your brother - is out there risking his life? Is it something tolerable? Does it not feel like you failed, as a citizen, if you put children in this position? "they want that" - okay, you could say the same about kids that start working at, like, fourteen, or earlier. They surely want to work, because they want to eat, or live in a house, or have any basic necessity their peers have for granted. Kids shouldn't be working - we have laws against child labor for that exact reason (I am forcing myself not to derail on that topic). So a society where a kid works is a society that failed that kid. A city where a kid is a vigilante is equally a failed one. So put yourself into the shoes of a random-ass Gotham citizen and check how you feel about it. Should, indeed, Batman keep the Robin? Like, good luck stopping him! But should he?

This is not a question of whether Robin should die. Or whether this Robin is cooler or lamer than the previous one. Not for me, at least.

Yeah, no, I know Bruce makes it out to be that Jason doesn't know the city as well as he thinks, that the city hates him, that he surely did something for the city to hate him, probably misunderstood what the city really needs... but he's wrong. He's like. Very wrong. Jason wasn't wrong, the stolen bike wasn't worth Batman's involvement, the teen who stole it didn't deserve to go to jail over it, and the breaking up of the stolen goods fence ring was, indeed, not going to amount to anything while there are people who answer to people who answer to people. He might have been wrong because the change should come from the bottom as well as from the top. But that's it, folks. He's right about everyone else.

Like, I don't know if you should take the poll at face value at all. If you should believe Bruce. Maybe Gotham citizens do hate the new Robin, the previous one was cooler. But if that's what's behind their answers - like, fuck them? Jason is right, and being popular with the masses has nothing to do with it. He's not canvassing for voters, pun not intended.

IDK, I just vibe with this issue. And honestly don't get where the criticism comes from.

so sometimes with fics I have very strong music senses about them (same as it ever was is a strong example of this, same with i met your ghost), and sometimes I just listen to whatever is vibing best in my brain.

to be completely honest? this fic was all over the place haha.

probably 80% of the hockey verse has been written to the "this is the 1975" playlist on spotify. I don't know but the 1975 gives me the exact right blend of sexy with that dash of like, grimy rat man and anger and it's sexy but in like... not so much a positive way? but it's still in a fun lil upbeat package so I don't depress myself too much. specific big hits for me are 'sex' (We've got one thing in common, it's this tongue of mine), 'the sound' (We left things to protect my mental health but you call me when you're bored and you're playing with yourself) 'somebody else', 'love it if we made it' (especially near the end of the fic), and 'sincerity is scary' (Why can't we be friend while we are lovers, it always ends with us hating each other) but honestly it's a no skip playlist for me, so.

I also listened to a decent amount of abba in the steve pov because personally they always get me into a good steve headspace?

and then I think for clean ice I spent a while trawling spotify for good enemies to lovers playlist and ended up on one called 'slowburn enemies to lovers' which has a lot of florence, arctic monkeys, three days grace, etc. I also a few times queued up 'bad at love' by halsey, 'monster' by imagine dragons, 'youth' by troye sivan, and 'heat of the night' by coleman hell.

oh, and I definitely listened to 'closer' by nine inch nails on repeat for a few scenes in carve

It's SO SAD BC I WOULD BE SO DISSAPPOINTED AT MERLIN FOR NOT HELPING OUT AND Merlin must feel SO bad for not beeing seen and auhdfjalf

• Listen you don't understand just how much I wish Morgana had left Gwen out of their plots. It doesn't even make sense, she loved her so much and Gwen did nothing to her how could she be so eager to see her dead?? I hate it here. Imagine if Morgana was conflicted bc of Gwen? like, she would pursue her path but would try at least not to hurt Gwen, doesn't that make much more sense??

• Arthur and Gwen don't make my little heart flick as much, but they are pretty cute I have to admit it. And Merlin honestly seems happy that the people he loves are happy together.

• Is that Dudley Dursley

• This ep before the finale make me feel good about Merlin and Arthur. Not as a couple, but in reflection of character development and all. And they are awarded by their choices like yes finally.

• Unrelated but the 4 second scene where Merlin is doing chores for Arthur and Arthur is just there vibing and asking for advise/ranting gives such a homey comfy ambient between them that it's so sweet.

• I'm so grateful for Lance to know about Merlin's powers. Like yes finally an ally and a friend who sees him and can confide in 😭🥺 I just wish Gwaine knew too. That man is everything but a snitch.

Part 5 Characters and Fashion Aesthetics

i started thinking about this mainly because i saw one aesthetic that really reminded me of secco but i didn’t want to put him in the la squadra post so here we are ✨ (i will do the bucci gang eventually i promise ahhh). also i want to say i’m not trying to make any of these moodboards look exactly like what they wear nor do i mean they would wear that exact thing, it’s more for the general idea, though maybe some of the outfits would look good on the characters! (now i’ve almost finished this post i see tiziano and squalo could probably share either of the styles i assigned them but anyway on with the post).

okay honestly the first thing that came to mind was like scene or emo, especially with green day being his stand and the green hair he’s got going on

stripes and other sorts of patterns (lots of animal prints especially in the hair lmao)

layered belts and accessories and those big ass knee high converse (which i desperately wanted when i was younger and still do </3 one day i will fulfil my emo dreams lmao)

bracelets and those armband things and necklaces made of ring pulls from monster cans

here’s a moodboard! again some are more feminine but y’know, if you can’t picture him in a skirt just imagine him in like the same pattern but as trousers or even just as black skinny jeans? idk ahhh:

his aesthetic would be avant apocalypse 100%. i literally just discovered this was a thing and immediately went when i saw it i thought of secco

like ripped and kind of baggy clothes?

also most of the outfits i seen ran along a kind of neutral colour palette like beiges and creams and stuff with some green tones. earthy tones i guess? idk this aesthetic is kind of weird to me it just looks like something he would wear though lmao

our opposing time zones have me absolutely floored, I will not lie. it’s just rather hilarious that my last ask was sent at 12am (roughly) and this one is going to be around 7:30am (roughly). also bc of the time this one probably won’t be as coherent or meaty bc my brain is mush

(also fairy lights are such a good touch, I love that. I think I might repaint the walls too, and add some seasonal candles <3)

first, I love how you can delve into the characters so much, ugh, like ugh when are we getting married smh, and secondly, I just love to imagine expressions. anakin is lovesick yet absolutely terrified bc he knows what he’s done is technically ‘wrong’ but at the same time he’s never done something that’s felt more right. meanwhile obi-wan is in this turmoil of complete mortification and the urge to literally climb over the table and actually kiss anakin (I think obi-wan has a little crush on both of his clients but has been in this little circle of guilt-shame-want-fear & honestly its happening again right there and then)

love myself a guilt-ridden & repressed obi-wan in any context <3

mans be absolutely terrified when padme comes in and then bam, it’s all revealed so sheepishly, and anakin probably profusely apologizes for the kiss (and likely actively wants to throw himself into traffic)

and on luke & leia. literally domestic family stuff??? sigh me tf up this instant

if we take rots anidala, and add padme pregnancy to the mix (maybe she’s not showing yet, and of course they find out after Anakins proposed, but they’re so in love they really don’t want to push the wedding off another 9 months or more after the pregnancy, so they say fuck it and keep it quiet for the moment bc they rly don’t want ppl to think that information forced them to get married) and honestly that would just be another complication added to this obianidala. esp in the case that they’ve told obi-wan, or have actively asked for his opinion on baby clothes/furniture

idk how well I’m vibing with the pregnancy concept added to the mix, but I wanted to get my word vomit out and here I am so. I said this wouldn’t be a meaty ask and completely jinxed myself

also yes, anakin's reaction to kissing obi-wan after his immediate oh shit moment is that he's still terrified and thinks he's irreversibly messed it all up, but does he regret kissing him? no, not at all. and obi-wan Has been harboring crushes on both anakin and padme, but he's been attempting to drown those thoughts in a mental stream of "i'm just here to do my job and it's Fine. i can be a professional about this, right? right???" to no avail. so after this he's just sitting in his pool of shame and sadness and trying not to stare too much at anakin's mouth, while anakin is also speechless until padme shows up (i too adore obi-wan being repressed and guilt-ridden, *chef's kiss*)

i've really just been word vomiting whatever comes to mind when you show up anon, so i don't actually have an exact plan for how the ensuing conversation goes lol. except that at one point obi-wan, still in denial of everything happening, mutters "why would you be genuinely interested in an old man like me?" because anakin and padme are a younger couple to him, 22 and 28, and he just doesn't get it (sir you are 38 oh my god you're fine). and padme just sends obi-wan a Look like he's missed something obvious, while anakin gets a glint in his eye that means he's probably going to need a bedroom to explain his answer. and when it all wraps up, and obi-wan realizes that this is his life now, and he's sitting across from two people who could be his partners and his husband and wife if he wants it, he really does reach across the table for a kiss like he's been wanting to. it's for padme, because she's the one who managed to clarify all this, she's brilliant and anakin's so lucky to have her and now she could be obi-wan's too. also with the way anakin is looking at him right now obi-wan isn't sure that they wouldn't be kicked out of the restaurant for public indecency if he decided to kiss anakin back

alright. onto the children!! there are a couple routes we could take this, i think. one is following your thoughts, that padme learned she was pregnant some time after her and anakin got engaged, but they're trying to keep it secret. maybe they wouldn't tell obi-wan outright, but based on their questions and whatnot (why do they want to know if obi-wan has siblings or likes children???) he's probably figured it out or has suspicions. and that's something they all talk about together, whether taking on acting as a parent/guardian is something obi-wan wants from the get-go

the other option is that they've all officially gotten Together for a while, a couple months or so (but maybe haven't gotten married yet), when padme takes the test and it comes back positive and oh shit, she knows that her and anakin wanted kids but they didn't get to that discussion with obi-wan because they thought this might happen in another year at the earliest, not now. and honestly at this rate who knows whether anakin or obi-wan is the father. so padme sits them both down, and she's bracing herself for the possibility that obi-wan might be scared off by the news when what they have between them is all so new and unfamiliar still, and leave. they all think about it for a while, but in the end they all want to at least try together and see what happens

whichever way this part of the story takes place though, well, it works out. obianidala and luke and leia probably all live together at padme's lake estate, but i'll have to think more about their futures lol

LITERALLYYYY i saw a tiktok where it compared all the other dances where its a member x woman (ten or baek) and it said "so this is okay, but this isnt?" showing enha and the comments were like "we are the problem" LMAO so at least they are self-aware.

hanbin.......i looked up his name on tiktok once and now my fyp is filled with him and im so in love he's so cute and adorable and sweet like i saw clips of ppl giving him letters and how much he loves getting them and even asked if anyone has letters for him please zb1 fans give him letters!!!!!! no bc i only know ricky, hanbin, zhang hao and matthew :,) but the more i see them on my fyp the more i am convinced to stan once they debut like i legit debated on watching boys planet yesterday bc i lowkey like survival shows but when i found out the eps are 2 hours long i decided to just....not...do that...

also a small update on the tbz recs i did some progress and i really liked diamond life and survive the night :p i have like 11 songs left from the ones u recommended LMAO but yeah i loved those two

completely forgot abt these sketches i did in like late december of last year (originally on dif canvases so ignore the height gap lol) but i think they still look p nice so i put some flats on em and... here we are......
