happy (late) birthday to gojo! i wonder how the family spent his birthday but also i wonder how the crew used to celebrate each other’s birthdays when they were younger!

“Shoko wait - that’s salt! Don’t put salt in the damn cake.”
“Why not? It would be funny.” She shrugs.
“Imagine how insufferable he would be, Sho.” Suguru intervenes.
“Did you get the balloons?” You ask Suguru.
“Yeah, they’re up in your dorm room. He comes barging into mine too much so yours was the best option.”
“I still can’t believe he’s never had a real birthday, like with sweets and soda and balloons.” You shake your head.
“Yeah, pretty fucking depressing to only have ‘formal birthday celebrations’ with stuffy old farts for your whole life.” Shoko says, sucking on a lollipop.
“Part and parcel of being the heir to a big three family, I suppose.” Suguru shrugs, watching you beat eggs into the cake mixture.
“What did you guys get him?” You ask.
“I got him this enormous basket of candy - like imported stuff too.” Shoko says - making you wonder if she’s opened it to take the lollipop she’s currently eating.
“Mine is a surprise. His parents got him an Armani coat and Tom Ford ankle boots, and then the trip to Bali for the four of us.” Suguru interjects.
“Rich people shit.” The three of you say in unison.
At 9pm that night, after a trip to the arcade with Suguru serving as a distraction to Satoru - they approached the building, where Satoru say the common room lights quickly switch off in the distance. He didn’t really understand why the silhouettes of you and Shoko were crouching behind a door, but he figured it was probably some weird girl shit.
Opening the door - shouts of ‘surprise!’ blasted through the room from you and Shoko and Suguru behind him. Big blue balloons were decorating the room with a banner saying ‘happy 17th birthday Satoru!’ hung crookedly on the wall. Gojo’s jaw dropped open at the sight before him, wrapped boxes on the table with a huge assortment of snacks and pizza boxes stacked behind them. Suguru moved from behind him and stood beside you and Shoko as you all blew party poppers toward him, showering him in colourful paper confetti. You run up, hands behind your bag and tug his shoulder for him to lean down to your height as you place a sparkly blue paper party hat on his head, securing it around his chin with a pat to the cheek - the shiny colour of your eyes and lightly glossed lips made him feel more faint than any injury could.
Not that he has a crush on you, or anything. You’re just best friends.
“Happy birthday Satoru!” You chime, giggling and clapping your hands.
“What is all this?” He asks.
“Your birthday party, dolt.” Shoko pokes at him.
“After you said you had only had formal ‘birthday events’ with your clan we thought we’d give you a proper birthday.” Suguru smirks, ruffling his best friends hair.
“We know it’s not as fancy -” You begin.
“This is so fucking cool.” He breathes - poking at the balloons with awe.
It makes sense to you all. His awe, his delighted face and joy laced in his voice. This - fun, homely, relaxed, happy - vibe, this is far more Satoru than any sit down, six course formal meal could ever be.
You can’t help but admire him as he scans through all the sweets laid out on the table, throwing caramel popcorn to Suguru to catch in his mouth. The smile on his face and the warmth in his bright blue eyes emphasise the loose drape of his long limbs, body relaxed and oh-so-happy. You think that happy Satoru is the prettiest Satoru there is. If Satoru asked for the moon wrapped in a pretty box for his birthday, then that’s probably what you’d do.
Not that you’ve a crush on him, or anything. You’re just best friends.
Shoko pushes him to sit down, and dips under the table - pulling out a huge wicker basket and heaving it toward him.
“Here. A gift.” She nods.
He wastes no time in ripping the cellophane obstructing the view of inside off and squeals like a piglet when he sees the sheer mass of sugar in there. He launches himself at Shoko, who just lazily pats him on the shoulder, warning him of cavities and how she won’t pay for any dental care as a result.
Suguru leaves the room, coming back with a cardboard carrier box.
“Oi, Satoru - here’s your gifts from me. Before you open the box, open this first.” He says, languid smirk on his face.
Suguru hands him a tiny box, about the size of a matchbox. Satoru slides it open and pulls out the contents. The puzzled look on his face doesn’t explain the mystery further. You scoot closer, peaking at the contents. Inside, lay three tiny pairs of sunglasses.
“Suguru, I love the sentiment but - I’m not sure these’ll fit me bro.” Satoru says, holding a pair to his nose.
“Open the box.” Suguru says, sitting on the armchair that Shoko has perched herself on the arm off and stretching his arms behind his head.
Satoru does as he’s told, and folds open the lid of the carrier box. The tilt of his head when he looks inside gives nothing away, apart from his complete confusion.
The box seems to rustle, and the nature of your cursed energy calls you toward small life forces inside.
Satoru turns to you, the resident animal lover, and shows you the box.
Inside, are three tiny, fluffy, snow white gerbils.
You begin to coo over them, noticing how healthy and socialised they are (growing up with your technique lead to an innate ability to bond and observe animals, which may have caused your parents pet count to rise from 1 to 17).
Satoru just looks at Suguru.
“You’ve got to be fucking with me.” He says.
“Just thought you needed some familiar faces.” Suguru snorts.
“The sunglasses? Three white rodents? Really, Suguru?! You see Shrek once and decided I’m leader of the three blind mice?!” Satoru retorts.
Shoko is in hysterical laughter as you completely zone out, petting and holding the little menaces in your arms.
“Suguru - you’re an evil genius.” You shake your head.
“Highest of compliments.” He responds.
“Wait - Geto - how the fuck do you expect Satoru to look after three gerbils? He’s - like - he’s Satoru.” Shoko nods in the gerbils direction.
“A responsibility lesson.” Suguru shrugs.
“How do I look after gerbils?! I’m not ready to be a dad! What do they eat? Is steak okay? Or maybe pizza? Do they need to swim like a turtle?! Y/N - what do I do?! You’ll help me, won’t you?!” Satoru begins listing off what he feels he needs to know to care for them.
Like you could ever deny him anything - of course you would, especially when he asks with that pretty pout.
“Course I will, Satoru. You gotta name them.” You nod.
He thinks for a moment, before smirking that smirk that spells trouble every time.
“Isamu, Hiroto and Daiki.” He declares.
“Random, but okay. Not like… fluffy, or whiskers or something that’s more eh - pet name style?” Shoko questions.
“Nah, white haired rodents? I’m calling them after the Gojo elders.” He snorts, devilish smile on his face as you all decent into laughter.
After settling the gerbils into their cage (a gift, courtesy of Yaga), you sheepishly slide a box toward Satoru, it’s small and wrapped in polar bear print paper.
“Happy Birthday, Satoru.” You smile, blushing.
He rips open the box and immediately falters. His casual smirk replaced with an awestruck gape.
“Is this…?”
“Yeah.” You nod.
Inside the box, was a delicate silver bracelet - with a circular medal in the center engraved with all four of your initials and the day you all started at Jujutsu Tech.
“Fucking hell, you really had to show us up like that Y/N?” Shoko groans, knowing your gift was by far the most sentimental.
“I hope you like it. If you don’t I kept the receipt so we can return it for -” You turn to the birthday boy.
“I love it.” He says, lifting his head to look at you.
“You’re per- It’s perfect. I - Help me put it on?” Satoru quickly fixes his slip of the tongue which you luckily didn’t notice but had Shoko and Suguru snickering.
You smile, helping him clasp it around his wrist and clapping when it’s a perfect fit.
“Yay! I’m so happy you like it!” You giggle.
“I like it a lot.” He says, not looking at the bracelet.
36
“Happy birthday, papa!” Came a loud voice, accompanied by excessive bouncing on the bed as the birthday boy himself woke up.
“Papa!” Came a more slurred voice with a giggle, and a small smack to his cheek with a chubby fist.
Satoru opens his eyes, seeing his 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter sitting on him on the bed, and beside them the woman who brought them into the world - shining in the morning sun, looking at him with eyes full of forever.
“We made you waffles!” Akio shouts.
“Waffle!” Mirai nods.
“You did! I am so spoiled! Did you two do them all by yourselves?!” Satoru asks, plopping Mirai on his lap which Akio has just vacated.
“No, papa. We had help!” The boy runs around to you, asking you to tie up his shoulder length white hair.
“Well, c’mon then! I’ve been promised waffles!” He ushers the two of them out of the room as they run toward the kitchen.
He turns around in the bed, seeing you smiling at him.
“Happy birthday, ‘toru.” You say, cupping his cheek and pressing a soft kiss to his lips.
“Every day feels like my birthday with you around, princess.” He smirks, rolling on top of you and kissing you back.
“Charmer.” You giggle.
“Is it working?” He asks.
“We’ve been married for 10 years and have two children together and have raised 2 others. It worked a long time ago. Truth be told, it worked even before I gave you this.” You say, fiddling with the silver bracelet on his wrist.
The jokingly fist bumps the air, even though he’s been fully aware your heart beats solely for him - and has done his you were 16.
“C’mon, handsome. Breakfast awaits along with a little surprise.” You say, lifting yourself off the bed as he does the same, standing and stretching and revealing a back of toned, strong muscles and biceps as he shakes out his fluffy hair.
“On second thought…” you smirk, biting your lip.
“Yeah? What’s that thought?” He smiles, wrapping an arm around you waist and kneading the peachy rise of your ass in his big hands, before sliding his hands up to your waist hidden under the fluffy robe you wore.
“That there might be another surprise for you tonight, and I have planned for the kids to have a sleepover.” You smile, pressing a kiss to the palm of his hand before swirling your tongue around his index finger, batting your eyelashes up at his far taller frame.
“You expect me to go through a whole day waiting for a surprise after this little display?” He groans, pouting like he did when at 18 you told him he couldn’t have his birthday cake until his actual birthday.
You just smile, pressing a chaste kiss to his lips before sauntering down the hall with an extra sway of your hips.
After a minute, he comes bouncing down the stairs and is greeted with the most incredible view.
Inside the kitchen, a now 21 year old Yuuji Itadori is wearing a floral apron and surrounded by plates of waffles and smiling.
“Happy birthday, Gojo-Sensei!” He says, before throwing his full strength muscular body at his old teacher.
“I didn’t know you were here! Thank, kid!” He smiles, ruffling Itadori’s hair.
“You made the waffles?” He asks.
From around the corner comes a chuckle and a giggle, as his daughter launches herself from her Uncle Soso’s arms and sprints toward her dad, ever the most loyal daddy’s girl.
“Papa’s day!” She squeals as she’s scooped up into her dad’s strong hold.
“Hello, cupcake. Were you playing with Uncle Soso?” He says, kissing her chubby cheeks as she nods, stroking his hair like her momma does.
“Happy birthday, Satoru.” Choso smiles, hugging him tight. Choso had really seen this family and said ‘yes, this one please.’ Actually, it was a two way street. You saw a sad, grieving man who loved as fiercely as you did and said ‘yes, this is my brother now.’
Itadori says when you or Gojo see a ‘stray’ it’s the epitome of the ‘you’re my friend now, we’re having soft tacos tonight’ TikTok sound.
“Thanks, Cho.” Satoru responds with a smile and a squeeze to the shoulder, almost forgetting he isn’t actually his brother-in-law.
The back door opens, and in comes a slightly snowy Shoko Ieiri, who catches his eye.
“Happy birthday, fuckwad.” She says, flicking him in the arm.
“Wow, so kind and gentle. Such a great godmother to set an incredible example.” He smiles, knowing that her greeting was actually the sign that Shoko truly loved him like a brother.
He knew why she’s been outside, she had followed the little pathway to the big tree where a black memorial plaque in a grove on the cottage’s surrounding land. You and him would go down there later.
She stick out her tongue at him and he laughs, rounding the corner to where the table lay.
Sat at the table was you, with your son on your lap - a diligent mama’s boy as you laughed with him, each holding a controller for your baby pink Switch as you raced in Mario Kart.
Beside you, standing up and holding an extortionately large jug of peach juice was his eldest. Megumi was shaking his head at whatever his little brother was saying and the hint of a smile could be seen in the upturned corner of his lips. He flicks his eyes up.
“Happy birthday, dad.” He says, and is immediately pulled into a bone crushing hug with kisses dotted across his face.
“My eldest! My firstborn! We sweet little man!” He cooed as the 21 year old man (only 3 inches shorter than his father, now fully grown) shoves and growls his way out of the intense affection.
“Nawh, let him have his cuddles ‘Gumi. He gets one day a year where he can annoy you without repercussions.” You laugh.
In the midst of the chaos, you and Akio slip away into the kitchen.
Itadori and Choso come in, and sit down followed by Shoko.
Gojo takes his normal seat beside your seat and pours a coffee with extra extra sugar.
Then a small chorus starts up, two small voices and one pretty one - soon turned into the whole room (even Megumi).
“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday dear Papa/Dad/Gojo/‘Toru,
Happy birthday to you!”
followed by -
“Hip hip, hooray!”
Akio is carefully holding a stack of waffles, with a flickering candle reading ‘36’ on top and Mirai has paper plates in her hands, as you walk behind them - hands out just in case.
He takes the heavy plate from his son, grateful for his 5 year olds inheritance of his father’s physical strength and height, and blows out the candle, pressing a kiss to the crown of his son’s head.
“Thank you, my lil’ mochi.”
“Make a wish, papa!” Akio shouts.
“Papa wish!”
He looks at the table, wife perched on his lap and surrounded by family.
“No need.” He says, squeezing your thigh.
“Such a sap.” You say, burying your head in his neck.
Everyone tucks into their breakfast, and the sound of happy chatter is soon interrupted by an angry voice of a toddler who inherited her mother’s temper.
“Fuckwad!” Mirai shouted.
You all spin to look at her, and see she dropped a piece of her waffle only for it to be swept away by a fluffy grey cat.
“Shoko?” You ask.
“Yeah, that one was me.” She nods.
You all burst out laughing, before Megumi turns around and asks.
“Are we making it a tradition that the kids learn a new curse every family occasion, cos this is round two.”
“Hey! It's your birthday in two weeks, babe! How about dipshit for that one?“ Yuuji exclaims.

POV: someone joins you on the balcony
Tumblr media
You hate that your boss made you attend this charity gala while she’s on vacation. It’s her job to rub elbows with Gotham’s elite, not yours, and she did nothing to prepare you for all this small talk before jetting off to Bali with her beau of the week.
You finish your drink and fantasize about quitting.
With their stifling conversations, stuffy outfits, and barely edible teeny portions of food, formal events like this are absolutely suffocating. All you need is a minute in the fresh air. So, toward the end of cocktail hour, you indulge in your compulsion to see if the balcony door you spotted earlier is unlocked.
It opens on the first try.
It’s not a particularly large balcony, but you’re grateful that there’s no one out here but you. You close the door gingerly, leaving behind the metaphorical veil that makes you look and act like the perfect party guest by obscuring everything about you that makes you a real person.
For a blissful interlude, it’s just you, the moonlight, and the distant sounds of the city. If you close your eyes, you think you can hear your real life: the subway, late night pizza, binge-watching a show on the sofa you got off of an online buy nothing group.
“Is this balcony taken?”
You quickly turn your head to see the man who just intruded on your solitude. He’s perfectly average in all the right ways—average height, nice athletic build, dark hair, blue eyes, a navy tuxedo so dark it’s almost black. There’s a certain air about him, a hint of the unknown, a something-special that you can’t quite name. It’s as if all his pieces, while unremarkable on their own, fit together to create a breathtakingly beautiful puzzle.
And, since he’s already halfway out the balcony door, something compels you to say, “There’s room for one more.”
He’s careful to close the door instead of letting it swing shut. While he does, he looks at his hand on the gleaming brass handle as if he’s mentally cataloging which parts of himself are staying in the ballroom and which are coming outside with him. After a moment, his arm goes lax, his hands slide into his pockets, and he steps into the moonlight beside you.
“I don’t know,” he says through a crooked smile. “There’s a whole lot of brooding out here. Are you sure there’s room?”
You give him a sidelong glance as the corners of your mouth pucker, fighting a smile. You’re supposed to be moping, not…whatever this is. “What do you have to brood about?”
He grips the railing of the balcony and leans back hips-first, stretching out his arms and craning his neck to look out over the city. His body’s here, but his mind is miles away, maybe even in another universe. “The debilitating weight of other people’s expectations, eldest child syndrome, and a pesky fear of commitment.”
There’s a beat of silence during which you just blink at him. Then, he glances at you and his crooked grin is back, but there’s something pensive underneath the easy smile. It’s impossible to tell if he’s being facetious or brutally honest, but there’s a darkness in his eyes that says he’s trying to laugh through the pain.
He breaks the silence with a chuckle. “Sorry. I shouldn’t only talk about myself. Why are you brooding all alone?”
You pluck the little name tag you’re supposed to be wearing out of the pocket you shoved it into. It has your boss’s name, not yours. “My boss is sipping cocktails on the beach with a man half her age, and I’m here.”
“Wow, that is such a universal experience,” he teases in a monotone. It’s then that you notice he’s not wearing a name tag either. “Why didn’t you just say no? You’re busy. You have the stomach flu. You have a phobia of weird canapés.”
That smile you’ve been holding back finally appears on your face. “Because of the debilitating weight of other people’s expectations and eldest child syndrome. Also, I need to pay my rent.”
He catches on to what you’re doing immediately. His eyes sparkle like the stars and his face brightens like the moon, reflecting the light that you’re giving off. “So you don’t have a pesky fear of commitment?”
Yes, you think. No. Maybe. Honestly, it’s been so long since you’ve been with anyone that you have no idea. What you do know is that something is happening to you on this balcony right now, and you hope it’s happening to him too.
Time seems to slow down, and both of you watch as his hand closest to you loosens, then shifts half an inch toward yours. You extend a pinky. He extends his in response, keeping only a centimeter of space between you like an unspoken promise.
You sense a kinship with him unlike what you’ve felt with anyone else tonight—or maybe ever—so you have to ask, “Who are you?”
Your mystery man presses his tongue to the inside of his cheek as if you’ve asked him what the meaning of life is. Deftly, he dodges the question. “The most exciting part of your night?”
“Uh-huh,” you deadpan. “And does he have a name?”
His grin widens. “Yup.”
Your heartbeat quickens. He stares at you with an intensity that makes the cosmos quake, and you stare right back, speaking a thousand words while saying nothing at all.
“I’ll show you mine if you show me yours,” he jokes, and you can’t believe that an overused pun makes you short with laughter. “I’m Dick Grayson. Now you: what should really be on that name tag?”

Personal Nakshatra Observation Series
SHRAVANA NAKSHATRA P1:
3/27
*obs1. i am using astroseek for the charts so yes there will be a lot of mistakes relating the placements yet i hope i was able to send the overall nakshatra message even if the placement is wrong. *obs2. the nodes and saturn will also be included because this is the form i found to talk about the theme for today.
Tumblr media
nakshatra characteristics:
Translation: To hear Symbol: An Ear, three footprints Animal Symbol: A female monkey Presiding Deity: Lord Vishnu Ruling Planet : Moon Ruling Deity of the Planet: Parvati Nature : Deva Mode: Passive Number: 22 and 3 (the steps) Gender: Male Dosha: Kapha Guna: Rajasic Element: Air Disposition: Movable Bird: Francolin Trimurti: Brahma Colour: Light Blue Motivation/Goal: Artha Upward Facing Direction: North
nakshatra small overview:
this time we are going to talk about a moon ruled nakshatra, shravana, and how it can manifest itself on the fiction scenery. its co ruled by saturn, since shravana is at the middle of capricorn.
shravana is represented by the oracle readers by his ability to "hear" in fact this the main theme of the nakshatra, learn how to trust our teachers and those who are wiser and learn how to listen to our intuition only after this we are able to flow.
nakshatra short version of the tale: "After Indra ,The king of the devas, is defeated by the daitya called Bali, the king of the asuras, the great-great grandson of Kashyapa and Diti, the devas ultimately seek refuge in Vishnu, who agrees to restore Indra to power. To do so, Vishnu incarnates as Vamana . The devoted Bali conducts ritual sacrifices (partaken by the asuras, but not the devas under Bali's rule), one of which is attended by Vamana, who requests only three feet (steps) of land (usually to build a fire-altar). Bali agrees, despite being warned about Vamana's true nature as Vishnu (usually by his preceptor, the sage Shukra a descendant of Bhrigu). Vamana grows in size, and in three strides, encompasses all of existence and beyond. Three step to take back the three worlds from king Bali and return them to Indra Vishnu’s 1st step covers the earth, the 2nd step covers the heavens, the 3rd step, with nowhere else to go, goes on Bali’s head. Some say they covered the earth, the sky (the atmosphere), and the heavens (space). The three worlds are restored to Indra, and Bali and the asuras are banished to Patala, the netherworld."
shravana posses divination power, oracle reader and intuitive, and the ability to slowly unite everything and everyone around them as the Vishnu, ruling deity, is all about preserving the universe.
Power to make connections and to connect with others.
Pop culture representations:
Miley Cyrus ( pop culture, life controlled, cultural shock)
Tumblr media
yes Miley is a vishakha but she does have Shravana Saturn and her life was controlled asf so yes she will be here as well.
I guess since we all know Miley she doesn't need an introduction but she was a teen star and was the protagonist of the Disney show called Hannah Montana, where she had a double life as both a pop star and a normal teenager. and yes double life is vishakha BUT today we will analyse the control pop stars have to endure about their personal lives.. some stars even face conservatorships, and we will see more about this later on.
here we will focus on the main role Miley played as "Ashley" in black mirror, where it was displayed the super controlled life of a pop star, and to be even funnier is that throughout mileys life she often spoke about how awful it was for her, while growing up, having to be controlled by disneys contract (she was still working there).
Tumblr media
not only miley but selena, nick jonas, and emily osment all have shravana saturn and have endured the same effect. but miley and selena especially were unable to display a more sexual persona due to being the faces of the channel.
we all know about 2013's right, mileys "went wild or crazy", but that wasnt the first time where miley had displayed her discontent with being controlled.
take a look at one of her songs prior to this year (2013) :
I wanna fly I wanna drive I wanna go I wanna be a part of something I don't know And if you try to hold me back I might explode Baby, by now you should know I can't be tamed I can't can't, I can't can't be tamed I can't be changed I can't be, can't, I can't be tamed
i know very jupiterian, but hear me out
now let's analyze her Ashley character and how it resembles back to herself.
Tumblr media
ashley O story is about a girl who receives music from dreams and she announces a doll, called ashley as well, who talks with humans, in fact the doll was made to be a companion to humans
while the doll was being sold out.. ashley was having intense personal conflicts with her auntie, where she reviled that her songs were messages that she wished she could say to her auntie but couldn't say it due to her being ashleys manager
she just wants to take advantage of ashley ability to dream songs and sell them to the world. through the story one girl name rachel bought the doll and ended up removing a certain devices that limited the dolls capacity and found out that the doll shared a conscience with ashley and finds out what was really happening to the real ashley.
well looks like dear miley likes to play little miss controlled life. shravana here displayed a powerful ability to make connections with others ( the doll and world) and be able to dream songs.. remember shravana is ruled by the moon so for her to be able to dream songs makes 100% sense here.
Nina dobrev ( our elena gilbert <3)
Tumblr media
ob3. katherine will be left for jyeshta okay dont bite me.
nina is an actress and she used to play the doppelganger characters elena gilbert and Katherine pierce on the vampire diaries. elena used to be a normal teenager until stefan, a old vampire, showed up (i don't remember the exact lore its been ages please don't ..) and her life changed a lot.
she ended up eventually turning into a vampire and she even found out that is somehow related to the original family.
here we will explore, again, the lack of control of the shravana native (this time nina's moon is shravana) and how its related to mysticism, due to moon's, the planetary ruler, influence.
Tumblr media
naiveness, a word that just came to me, the moons influence on shravana make us more naive? is the moon naive? because she loves everyone and shravana series to be loved by all? or is it saturn who limits capricorn's emotions making he believe the gods have forsaken him?
thats a nice perspective when u remember elena lost her parents her brother she even lost her life but she came back as a vampire in the end i must say she lost again because he lost her life, to be reborn as a vampire being the moon is like she was reborn as a node.
but what was elena's problem after all? she was stuck in the victim mode and she truly believed to be the sun (the planets go around the sun) while she was the moon and the moon is private, she is precious and dreamy.. i feel like ELENA wasn't a dreamer ....... she was the representation of Capricorn moon but this time she lacked saturns hard work, vishnus perseverance and the moons faith.
she didnt work to achieve her dreams and she wasn't a good friend at all and to me she wasnt the moon and neither saturn.
THE END.
Tumblr media

Briar: Salads..cucumbers.
Kyla: He didn’t need a cucumber
Briar: Because he had a dick that big?
Kyla: Lets just say it wasn’t lacking.

Briar: Good job not reminding me
Kyla: I tried to but you were with some guy in Bora Bora
Briar: So wait a week and try again!
Kyla: Belize. Or was it Bali?
Briar: I was doing an alphabet challenge and got B so I did Bora Bora, Bali, Belize, and Brazil. And had more sex than you’ve had in your whole life.
Kyla: I have sex!
Briar: Who besides Annabeth and this Elliott person? Oh and Betsy.
Kyla: She was super fun. I miss her.
Kyla: There’s lots of hot guys here though. And girls. Some of them like stuff I don’t like but Im forcing exposure to those things so I can like them.
Briar: Its not a theatre exercise
Kyla: ?
Briar: You don’t train in sex things you don’t like. There’s no reason to
Kyla: You’re not even at an academy, what do you know?
Kyla: You’d be proud of me anyway. I’ve taken plenty of classes that would be Briar approved
Briar: Do tell
Kyla: Nope
Briar: Unfair
Kyla: You let your students work on their numbers and have no costumes for them. Thats unfair.
Briar: Ok but this is unfair too
Kyla: You’ll live.
Briar: Maybe
Kyla: I’ll take your teen class on Tuesday if you’ve stopped existing.
Briar: Ugh, take them anyway.
Kyla: Then you take my minis.
Briar: Fine. They’re easy.
Kyla: They’re hard to please. And they can’t point their toes.
Briar: Teens have attitude
Kyla: Yeah but I have practice with teens bc I have you and your little horny mindset
Briar: And you give me practice with minis bc you whine and pout a lot
Kyla: Yw!
Briar: I need more info on this Elliott person.
Kyla: Don’t get excited ok? He’s claimed.
Briar: And his claim let him scene with you?
Kyla: Yes. It took special permission and everything.
Briar: Really? Did it require a demonstration 😜
Kyla: No you moron. I made it up. Im not sure if he even asked. But I totally would’ve made the cut cuz Im flexible.
Briar: Yes you are. Now tell me..what exactly do you do with that superpower?
Kyla: Lots of things.
Briar: Like?
Kyla: Use your imagination
Kyla: I take it back. Do not use your imagination.
Kyla: I can feel you imagining things
Briar: But you don’t know how to have that much fun.
Kyla: You know about me that I like coming and that I like dance and cheer. So. In combination, I enjoy myself.
Briar: What were you doing when he fucked you so hard?
Kyla: Keeping one foot on the floor at all times cuz Im always a super safe person
Briar: No you’re not!
Briar: You just sent my imagination wild
Kyla: Have fun with that
Kyla: Never mind DO NOT HAVE FUN WITH THAT, NO FUN FOR YOU

Secret Relationship (2) Masterlist
part one
Always (ao3) - stelleshine michael/luke E, 2k
Summary: Luke hates Michael's obsession with Snapchat, but loves Michael more than the moon.
Cake By The Ocean (ao3) - HPFangirl71 luke/calum E, 1k
Summary: Just the boys having fun in Bali......
I was sort of inspired by the DNCE song but only in the fact that it inspired the title and the premise of our ship Cake having sex by the ocean. lol Its basically just a reason for more Cake smut!!
I Don't Wanna Say Goodbye To Another Night (ao3) - pommedhappy michael/ashton E, 2k
Summary: Michael smiles widely at the gaping boy in front of him.
“Mikey? What the fuck?”
Michael is afraid for one second that Ashton will run away, but when the surprise fades, the older boy takes a few hesitant steps towards the bed.
They have been fooling around for the last few weeks, grinding on each other as soon as they are certain to be alone, touching each other in dark stalls of clubs, but it’s the first time they spend a night in a hotel since this thing between them has started and Michael wanted to make the most of a wide bed.
If They Find Out, Will It All Go Wrong? (ao3) - flowercrownmikey michael/calum E, 15k
Summary: OR// (5+1) The five times Calum and Michael sleep together but don't want anything to change, and the one time everything changes. Basically a fat LOAD of smutty smut smut ;)
I Miss You (ao3) - stelleshine michael/luke T, 1k
Summary: Luke loves Michael, but seeing Michael sunburned reminds him that they're still secret, still hidden.
Maelstrom (ao3) - merlypops luke/ashton E, 225k
Summary: Ashton is struggling, Luke is hiding, and Michael and Calum just want to make things work. (And maybe Ashton and Luke fall in love too. Maybe.)
over and under (ao3) - kaleidoscopeminds luke/calum E, 10k
Summary: “We really need to stop doing this.”
“I know.”
Luke says he won’t do this again.
They both agree they won’t do this again when they’re dressed, in Luke’s living room and not his bedroom, when Calum’s about to leave to see his other friends and Luke’s going to the studio to write.
It’s easy to agree not to do it again when Calum’s not touching him.
Post-You Blues - @daydadahlias cornflowerblue (daydadahlias) calum/ashton T, 6k
Summary: Calum and Ashton fix each other when someone else breaks them. They’re the only ones who know how to, after all.
Subject Line - @daydadahlias (cornflowerblue (daydadahlias)) calum/ashton E, 20k
Summary: Maybe the sunrise doesn’t matter much after all. Calum can watch the sunrise any day. How many days will he get Ashton like this? Shirtless, sporting bedhead in a hotel room, with just the two of them for a few lazy hours alone?
Soon enough, they’ll be back on the tour bus and Calum won’t be allowed to hold Ashton’s hand anymore.
The Bass Player (ao3) - boomercal calum/ashton E, 69k
Summary: It's his first big tour with his relatively newly joined band, opening for his favourite band in highschool. So what if he's always found the drummer hot, nothing's going to come of it, and it would unprofessional if something did happen.
the situation is like a mountain that's been weighing on my conscience - @sup3rbloom (haveufoundwhaturlookingfor) luke/ashton, michael/calum T, 2k
Summary: Luke is closeted and nobody outside of the band, and close family, knows that he has a secret husband. During promo for Youngblood, Luke suffers a panic attack when the interviewer asks a personal question. Cue, Ashton to the rescue and comfort.
unmute (ao3) - allsassnoclass (brightblackholes) luke/ashton, luke/ofc, michael/crystal M, 21k
Summary: In 2011, Luke Hemmings met Ashton Irwin for the first time. In 2020, he told the world they’re married. This is the story of everything that happened in between.
The Off-Screen prequel

This Week’s Horrible-Scopes
It’s time for this week’s Horrible-Scopes! So for those of you that know your Astrological Signs, cool! If not, just pick one, roll a D12, or just make it up as you go along. It really doesn’t matter. Better yet! Check out “Heart of the Game, Fredonia” and see if they can sell you those D12’s with the symbols on them. Tell them “Shujin Tribble” sentcha. And “Hail, Hail, Fredonia!” Home of the Blue Devil!
Even though it’s still only just barely into the New Year, you need a vacation. And since we’re nothing if not cheap, we’ll just tell you where you should go even if you can’t afford it. And, no! We’re not going to tell you to Go To Hell. Chances are you’ve already been told that enough times this week.
Aries
We’re dropping you off just north of the Dominican Republic at Turks & Caicos! This collection of roughly 100 islands is popular with honeymooners and for good reason: sparkling white sand, crystal-clear water, and nearly 350 miles of colourful coral reef! Be sure to spend a day or two lounging on Grace Bay Beach with plenty of opportunities to snorkel, scuba dive, and ride horses along the coast. So This Week… Be sure to check your horse’s belly strap before you go riding. Not because you’re liable to fall but because you want to know if you’re on a stallion or a mare. Trust us, there is a difference in temperament.
Taurus
If you bend an ear you’ll enjoy all the art and flowers and canal-lined streets and "coffee shops" and high-end boutiques… Welcome to Amsterdam! Yes, you could enjoy the art or the food or the bicycling… and you can have a stop to enjoy the street food scene by eating herring or Dutch fries, or satisfy your sweet tooth with stroopwafels. So This Week… Buy some stroopwafels at your local grocery store and TRY to imagine they aren’t Cock-Waffles. We DARE you.
Gemini
WELP! If picturesque beaches and warm weather are what you're after, look no further than the British Virgin Islands! You’ll have easy access to Smuggler's Cove and Brewers Bay. And if you book your hotel room on Tortola, the area's largest island, you can hop between the smaller islands on boat tours. So This Week… Re-learn all your maritime terminology before you try to steal a 20-sail pirate clipper. Oh, and buy some sea sickness pills.
Cancer Moon-Child
This might be a little weird, but you’re getting sent to the “U-A-E”! the United Arab Emirates, specifically to Dubai. You COULD do something simple, like visit the Dubai Mall. Or how about indoor Ski Dubai? And how about freaking out after getting to the top of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building on the planet, at over 800 Meters tall. So This Week… We know you wanted to know, so - it would take just shy of 13 seconds for you to go “SPLAT!” after jumping off that thing, with an impact of over Seven-Hundred-Thousand joules. So don’t do that! It might not hurt YOU, but it’ll hurt someone else.
Leo
We’re sending you to the largest island in French Polynesia - Tahiti! And just to get you over your fear of the ocean we’ve booked you into a lavish overwater bungalow. And once you’ve stopped having a panic attack, there’s prime snorkeling and surfing conditions all around you. If you're staying on dry land you COULD look for more cultural activities, like the island's temples, or shop for Tahitian pearls. So This Week… Don't ask what a pearl necklace is worth here. Just trust us.
Virgo
Your vacation is just a chance for you to get away from everything and be calm, peaceful, and serene. We’re sending you to the lush Indonesian paradise of Bali. Right now it’s the dry season, so beachtime will be perfect. Follow that up with tours through some temples, and finish up with dinner in the village of Kintamani, home to a towering (and active) volcano. So This Week… If you take a Balinese cooking class and the instructor suggests heating your pan in the magma, IT’S A TRICK! DON’T DO IT!
Libra
Talk about an historic location, your destination brings you to one of the original Seven Natural Wonders of the World! A place with, literally, one-of-a-kind scenery. You’ll be looking through some of the over 600 islands and 1,500-plus species of fish, but you better be careful with them all. You’ll be Underwater up the coast of Queensland, Australia and snorkeling in Australia's Great Barrier Reef! It will be a bit dangerous, being that it’s ’stralia, but we trust you not to do anything life threatening. So This Week… learn what Ozzie plants you are NOT ALLOWED TO TOUCH - specifically the “Gympie-Gympie”. Do NOT touch it! Seriously! This is No Joke! You WILL want to die!
Scorpio
The best part about your destination is you pretty well already know the local language and cuisine. Take your choices from historical landmarks and modern-day attractions, London, England is a world unto itself. Do things the easy way: join a tour that takes you to the Tate Modern art institution, Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Borough Market, and the British Museum. And once you’re done there, have a sit down classic afternoon tea. But plan on a weekend trip to share a Sunday roast at a local pub. So This Week… get used to the taste of Malt Vinegar because you WILL be shot on sight for trying to put ketchup on your Fish-n-Chips!
Sagittarius
Not only are you headed to a beautiful city overlooking the Balearic Sea, but you’ll get an amazing theme song out of it. You’re headed out to Barcelona, Spain! Walk through Medieval architecture, take in the intricate Basílica de la Sagrada Família, and enjoy Antoni Gaudí's whimsical creations in Park Güell. Spend some time in the water at Barceloneta beach before checking out the restaurants and bars along Las Ramblas at all hours of the night… which will be perfect for your jet lagged brain. So This Week… find your old Spanish notes from High School and try to remember if you were taught Castilian Spanish or not. It WILL make a difference in how you’re treated.
Capricorn
Regardless if you say it cah-RIB-bee-ahn, or cah-rah-BEE-anne, you’re headed to the mountainside resorts of St. Lucia. Planning on swimming and relaxing in the ocean? Head to Reduit Beach or Anse Chastanet. Want a little more adventure? Try zip lining through the Chassin region’s rainforest. It’s the dry season now, so it’ll be a little more expensive, but considering what the weather and food will be like, it’ll be worth it. So This Week… stop being stingy and just buy a new bottle of sunscreen. That last one expired in the twenty-teens.
Aquarius
You want to claim you’re an “oenophile”, do you? Well we’re shipping you off to Santorini, Greece! It’s a top honeymoon destination with breathtaking sunsets, whitewashed villages and colorful beaches. History buffs could check out Ancient Thira, then get your wine-tasting in while visiting central Santorini's wine tours. The best part of this whole vacation is… alfresco dinner at Amoudi Bay. So This Week… make sure you have lots of memory storage for your camera and a proper power adapter so you don’t blow it up this time.
Pisces
Have we got something special for you! Someone, and we’re not naming names, actually PAID for a Certain Somepony to get, and I QUOTE… “a naughty scope”. So Roxy? You’re getting sent to Negril, Jamaica to spend a week at Hedonism II! You’re booked in Mid-March for “Hedo Swing Breakers” with your choices of fun like: a Boozy Easter Egg Hunt, Truth or Dare Jenga, a Rave Igloo, Dinner on the Beach, or a Car Wash. That’s right! It’s a Clothing Optional all-adult resort hosting a huge lifestyle party for couples and throuples ages 19-45… OH, wait… You’ve already aged out of that bracket. Well, shoot. Uhm… You could just stay home and be nude all you want instead. It’s a lot cheaper too. Sorry. (That good enough, Kali? Oh, OOPS! Sorry!)
And THOSE are your Horrible-Scopes for this week! Remember if you liked what you got, we’re obviously not working hard enough at these. BUT! If you want a better or nastier one for your own sign or someone else’s, all you need to do to bribe me is just Let Me Know - or check out the Ko-Fi page ( https://ko-fi.com/icarusthelunarguard )! These will be posted online at the end of each week via Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Discord, and BLUESKY.

Nine Days in Lombok
It's 8:11 a.m. in Tetebatu, Lombok, and I've had some coffee this morning. I generally only do that if I have a busy day of walking planned, and that's what I expect today. I'm on the slope that leads to Gunung Rinjani, the second highest peak in Indonesia (I think). It rained a lot last night and the sky is clear and blue and we're talking about a rice field walk with a stop at a waterfall among others. I'm quite excited for a few hours of walking. Most of my exercise this vacation has been in scuba diving, of which I'm not complaining. In fact, the images of my 7 dives this week are etched in my brain and I'm seeing them in my dreams, suspended upside down I gaze up a multi-leveled coral landscape. I gained a great deal of confidence and comfort in the water on this trip and am now looking forward to my next dive - whereas before I felt some trepidation. As long as I trust those who guide me, it's a wondrous thing to see even such a fragment of the vast water world we inhabit. One day of diving was in Gili Gede, where my accommodations were lovely, with nice food and drink. The trash on the island though was distressing. My guide was not a PADI certified one, and so we didn't go through the proper routines, of briefing before and logbook after.  I spent one night in Mataram at an English Teaching Conference, where I met up with 5 of my ELF peers. The conference was not much to talk about, but the hanging around after was FUN! We went to dinner and just talk, talk, talking about teaching and ex-pat life, things in America, it was nice. Then, the karaoke! In a good karaoke situation, everyone is rollicking, singing, clapping, working it out. And we had that almost from the get-go. The song choices were fun, a wide-range, and everyone was supportive and it just felt superlative. We went for three hours, and it was too short, except that my voice was kind of shot by the end. Then I moved on, on my own, to Gili Meno, in the northwest of Lombok. There are three small islands there which are apparently the main tourist places in Lombok - but they are less touristed than Bali (at least that's what I heard). But, don't be deceived, they are touristed, and the local community is pretty much entirely given over to it. That makes things lovely on the surface, but you know there's some tension underneath. Meno is flat and easy to walk all the way around in a couple of hours. It also happened to be the full moon on my middle night (of 3) so that was kind of cool. The big deal at Meno for me was diving. I went to the Divine Divers and they are a serious crew, so I trusted them. And I took "fun" dives, so the crew handles pretty much everything and so I just focused on relaxing and enjoying the water. Which I did. Plunging into the water with all the equipment on is like being shot out into space. I imagine the astronauts must have felt quite relaxed once the rocket was moving. It's what they were there for. And once in the water, I was chill, and just watching the luminous world around me. So many fish, like the Jacques Costeau movies of old. The coral is the real gem for me, fractals upon fractals, the basic shapes of the universe endlessly repeated. I saw green turtles (some IMMENSE), white-tipped sharks, a blue-spotted manta ray (small), a mantis shrimp (large, colorful), triggerfish (with powerful front teeth we were told to AVOID), and scores of others of creatures. I dove around a ship-wreck (I'm not allowed in, it requires special training). I dealt with a strong current on one dive. I thought, while diving, this is going straight to my subconscious, and I will dream about it. (A few days later I did.) To detail the diving would take up more space than this blog needs. Maybe some other place... After the dives I was exalted and tired. I walked on the beach. I had some wonderful food, olah-olah (julienned veggies in a coconut broth), fried tempeh (with a spicy peanut sauce) and ikan bakar (grilled fish). I had some beers and some pina colada and gin and tonic (on different nights). It shouldn't come as a surprise that it was hard to leave. But the place is for transients. The locals don't want bule staying there. One of my tour guides (a bule) said, "The people show their smiles, but beyond that, there's other stuff." People are political animals; politics are a bummer in paradise. And I've used that word 'paradise' a few times. It's an easy word to use. But there is no such place as paradise. Still, Gili Meno is pretty close. My next stop (where I am now) is Tetebatu. We had a rice field walk that was great in and of itself. The light and the colors (blue, green, yellow) are entrancing. And it was a challenging walk, along thin barriers between paddies, plenty of climbing up and down. Then we got to the waterfall. Actually before we got there, we walked along a bamboo boardwalk into a steep and ragged volcanic cleft with a stream running strongly underneath. These are not the regulated kinds of places you'd see in the States. You take your life into your hands, well, you enter at your own risk. But you can hear the waterfall roaring toward you as you walk.  We had to take off our shoes for the last stretch, bare feet over small jutting stones was a bit painful. But the vision, of black volcanic rock closing in as you walk closer to the waterfall, the sunlight slanting through so that the negative space above you is shaped like a bolt of lightning, the mist of the waterfall swirling in the shaft of light, the roar of the water, the feeling of the water on your skin, it's a sensory explosion. I readily took off my shirt and plunged into the pool below the falls. I didn't bother to approach the funnel of water, it was too strong. While on this walk I acquainted myself with an Australian family of 4, David Knight, Tracey Withers, and their children Benjy (7) and Freya (3). They were all sociable, and I was my best charming self. In fact, I enjoy being around kids. They are new to everything and it's fun to engage with them as they engage with the strange world they're trying to make sense of. David and Tracey are open-minded and dynamic people from Sydney. Tracey is a writer and David is trying to move beyond the world of business he's been immersed in thus far in his professional life. I took some pics of the 4 of them in the pool below the waterfall. A magical place. I hope they find those pics to be a wonderful memory. My body was tired that evening and I slept very well, even though the bamboo walls of my bedroom were like paper. When the rooster crowed, it was like he was in my room. When the muezzins called to prayer at 4 a.m. (or anytime) it was like I was outside for it. But no matter. I had ear plugs and my body wanted to sleep. And sleep is the beginning of self-care while traveling. I'm in Malang now for the next 12 days. But after that I'll be traveling for 4 straight weeks. So sleeping well, eating well, pacing myself, all will be important to enjoying my extensive travels. I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to wander for so long, but I'm not a youth anymore. I must regulate myself. The second full day in Tetebatu was also a hiking and waterfall day. The reason for the many waterfalls is that Rinjani is a high mountain, and an active volcano, so the peak draws clouds everyday and it rains even in the dry season. The mountain is also surrounded by porous volcanic rock which the running waters wash over persistently to create myriad streams and falls. We encountered several tourists and many locals on our trails. It was a beautiful day, and again, I was bone-weary when it was over.  The next morning, I had to return to Malang. It was a travel day, but not too demanding. It's nice to return to the regular bed and kitchen, to wash clothes, to work out at my gym. And it's nice to think that these are my last days. It's been a challenging year, and going home seems like the right thing. But so does the travel that comes before I get there!
