Familiar Chemistry (Chemistry-10 :End)

A cup of cocoa & a boilng stone

I've been drinking Van Houten cocoa lately. It's delicious and highly nutritious, but cocoa powder doesn't dissolve well in water. Normally, you would pour hot water into a mug and dissolve it carefully, but I was impatient and mixed cocoa, milk, water, sugar and honey and put it in the microwave.

Surely, cocoa melts, but it boils and the microwave turntable is soaked in cocoa. Repeating it twice reminded me of the chemistry experiment "boiling stone" that I studied in junior high school. A pumice stone is placed in a flask to prevent sudden boiling (bumping).

Luckily I'm a gardener, so I have a lot of pumice stones. So I put a moderately sized pumice stone in a mug and put it in the microwave for 3 minutes and 30 seconds (500w). Then, there was no boiling, the cocoa melted, and although it was a little hot, the cocoa juice was completed.

Add a little ice to cool it down and make it hot enough to drink. I was able to make effective use of what I learned in junior high school.

私は最近ヴァン・ホーテンのココアを飲んでいる。美味しいし、栄養価も高いのだが、ココアの粉末は水に溶けにくい。普通はマグカップに熱湯を注いで、入念に溶かすのだろうが、せっかちな私はココア、ミルク、水、砂糖、蜂蜜を混合して、電子レンジに掛けた。

たしかにココアは溶けるのだが、沸騰し、電子レンジのターンテーブルがココア浸しになってしまった。それを繰り返すことを２回やり、私は中学校で勉強した化学実験の「沸騰石」を思い出した。突然の沸騰（突沸）を防ぐためフラスコに入れる軽石だ。

幸い私は園芸をやっているので、軽石をたくさん持っている。そこで程々な大きさの軽石をマグカップに入れて電子レンジに３分３０秒掛けてみた（５００ｗ）。すると突沸は起きず、ココアも溶けて、少々熱いが、ココア汁が出来上がった。

少々氷を入れて冷やし、飲みごろの熱さにして、試してみると、これが美味しい。中学校の学習を有効利用できたわけだ。

slow boiled mac being protective while they travel back to the city after defeating LBD, Wukong just wants to nap

hehehe! I love Mac looming over Wukong's form like a shadowy gremlin while Wukong is just exhausted and wanting to rest after the tough battle with LBD. And having a mate as a living water bottle helps a lot.

I feel like this is what the others in the TEA see when they lift up a blanket or curtain concealing Wukong's bunk.

I love the little drawings of the gang on Wukong's bunk wall, its so cute :3

seeing other writers/mutuals who are so skilled at what they do talk about not getting support in their sfw, fluff and angst fics just piss me the fuck off, i'm genuinely so heated at the amount of old and new writers struggling because of new tumblr users

ik a lot of you readers like to read our smut fics/porn fics, but those writers, also talking abt only getting likes, instead of reblogs n interactions from those types of works as well is just so depressing that im starting to have this growing idea of what some to most readers are in tumblr

ill be the voice that other writers are hesitant and afraid to express:

REBLOGS; ARE SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT TO US THAN A SIMPLE DOUBLE TAP DOES.

LIKES are like a quick glance for us writers.

LIKES are like people who pass by us when we walk anywhere and everywhere.

LIKING is like telling us writers who take our time to write FREE shit for you; “we see it, we like it, but we will not do anything about it”

LIKES will NOT get us writers anywhere in this app.

LIKES is like deafening SILENCE for us writers, crickets, ghosts, an eerie dark night.

LIKES arent similar to instagram, tiktok and other platforms. it is DIFFERENT in this platform. they dont mean jack shit.

LIKES are like a hit and dip shit scenario. one night stand, loveless sex, meaningless encounters.

i've seen so much amazing fics, nsfw or sfw have over almost 9k interactions, then i look to the reblogs count and see only a whopping 500 or so like THE FUCK? SCUSE ME? WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT RATIO?

if you're apart of the "ooh! i genuinely like this!" then only press like—thank you, truly. we're glad you like our work, to gain your interest and your silent support, but i want to inform you simply liking doesn't help us in a technical sense, it doesn't help our blog, our reach, it doesn't help our blog grow.

and if you're one of the blogs who only likes, i genuinely don't know what's so trifling and difficult about reblogging and adding the pre-made tags for you to spam and get it over with. i do it and its so, so fucking easy.

god, i remember in full detail the day where i wrote my first story, it had only 200 interactions max, and most of them were only likes and a few reblogs, but my inbox was full of positivity, mixed in with a few shitty ones, but i pressed on because of SAID INTERACTIONS AND MY LOVE FOR WRITING.

to my mutuals and other writers; i fucking love you and your stories so much, sfw or not, the writing community has done so much for me mentally, and lots of fics have been healing me. god its my first time releasing such emotions into this blog, but yea, ive just had it from the amount of turmoil ppl have been causing into all of you, outside tumblr or not.

Marine - I was a Marine defender before it was cool. >:| Maybe it's because years of being exposed to Dingodile gave me immunity to exaggerated Australian-isms, but I could follow her dialogue just fine, and she acknowledged her shortcomings by the end of the game on top of that. (If people have such a problem with her stereotypical dialogue, why do they never complain about Bunnie or Antoine? HMMMMM...)

3. Erazor - *T-poses over Mephiles' corpse*

2. Trip - I have a weak spot for meek gals who learn to grow a backbone by making fweeeends, and this one also has a dragon transformation. Also gotta give her kudos for dealing with Fang's notorious mech that was still probably made and provided by Eggman, stop downplaying Eggman pls fandom.

1. Hard-Boiled Heavies - They're really fun. That's all I need. I love how much character was put into their animations, and how distinct they all are despite abiding by the Egg Robo template.

Honorable mentions for Shahra since I've warmed up to her and her friendship with Sonic after being meh on them for years, Elise since she's a good character who was let down by less good execution (and an unnecessary amount of kidnappings), and Infinite because that's what it takes to be Infinite. Since I'm in love with Ariem's design, I'm hoping she would be on this list had it been made post-Dream Team. But we'll have to see what happens with her chosen portrayal, considering... y'know. *eyes Flynn*

Hi! It's me again :3, I don't know (and remember) if anyone has asked this before but I would like to know:

How did OG!MK feel when he found out that SW is his father in another dimension (I feel like Mei would say something like "See? I told you he was your dad" or something)

If it happens before S4, I feel like Mk would be a little jealous of his other self seeing that he doesn't have the problem of not knowing who his biological parents.

(The idea occurred to me when I remembered a tiktok that said MK used any type of editing app to get an idea of what his parents would look like 🥲)

Think i did do a post like that ages ago, but only with an earlier draft of TMKATI and canon. Now I have like three more verses to torment MK with >:)

When the Canon verse and the other verses collide, the quickest thing the MKs would notice is their appearances.

OG!MK: "Whoa!! These me's are monkey demons!" TMKATI!MK: "And you guys are... human???" SlowBoiled!MK: "Yeah, why wouldn't him- I mean me be?" CenturyEgg!MK: "I don't know about you guys - but my parents are monkey demons. Then again my gūtā [dad's gender neutral older sibling] is human, I think???" JTTWEgg!MK: "My parents are monkey demons! The coolest monkey demons ever I may brag." TMKATI!MK: "Oh no way! My parents are monkey demons too! i have a bunch of adopted siblings though. The different monkeys watch on nervously. The different monkey kings are sitting politely as their Macaques hiss at eachother from across the room.

OG!SWK: "So uh... did you tell him yet?" Other Monkeys: "Tell him what?" SlowBoiled!SWK: "About him being made by Nuwa, or the fact that we were forced to abandon him?" The CenturyEgg and TMKATI monkeys: "What." TMKATI!SWK, laughing nervously: "What? Oh gods no. I thought you guys meant telling him who we are!" The Other Monkeys: "Wut" CenturyEgg!SWK: "Your MK doesn't know that you guys are... Us?" TMKATI!LEM: "Nah, we've sorta been off-the-grid ever since genius here [thumb-points at his SWK] got me pregnant with our MK." The Stone Egg au SWKs: "Hah!" "Uno reverse card, plums!" Stone Egg LEMs: *all three have varying looks of horror, indignance, and bashfulness* SlowBoiled!LEM: "I said I was sorry!" OG!LEM: "Wait... what do you mean by sorry?" I started up the process willingly after I had to seal away DBK. When was the little guy born?" SlowBoiled!SWK: "Little lady actually. Yuebei was born about six months ago. Our MK was crafted by Nuwa - then again I did raise him the first year until I became too weak to care for him..." *looks sad* TMKATI and CenturyEgg monkeys: "Oh no..." :( "Stone eggs are super dangerous to the people around them. I don't blame you." JTTWEgg!SWK: "Odd. I got an Egg from the mountain too - but mine was born shortly after I completed the Journey. And mine was our MK. Did losing Mihou make the process longer??" OG Monkeys: "What?" "How many of you have MK as your kid!?" (*Cue them having to make a Venn Diagram of Whos' MK is What to Whom*) OG!SWK: "Ok so! Mine and the guy with the super-adorbs baby got our MKs dumped on us." SlowBoiled Monkeys: *proudly showing photos of their Yuebei* OG!LEM: "The me in sweatpants had him cus of a comet /slash/ stone egg soul mishap." TMKATI!LEM: "Oh, my Wukong was still responsible there. He sealed the Harbringer's soul inside me after using a sealing spell. TMKATI!SWK: "I panicked, ok!" OG!SWK, pointing at the remaining universes: "Annnd you two literally birthed him yourselves." CenturyEgg and JttwEgg SWKs: "Yup." "Stone shell and all." OG!SWK: "...is there anything else I'm missing?" The other universes: (*scratching their chins in thought*) SlowBoiled!LEM, slyly: "So are you guys back together yet, or what?" OG Monkeys: "What!?" "As if!"

Laughter just erupts around the room as the canon shadowpeach pairing realises that they're the odd ones out as *not* being together.

Complete and utter chaos reigns when the parent and MK groups reunite, and they recognise some sort of connection...

Every time I rewatch Pride and Prejudice I have more and more empathy for Mrs. Bennett. She probably had some kind of anxiety disorder on top of dealing with an ungrateful family that had about ten percent of the necessary panic about marrying her daughters to wealthy men. Often she’s viewed as some silly woman with vapors when she has all this responsibility and zero power to literally keep her family from becoming homeless when her husband dies.

Panic attacks under such conditions are rather an expectation.

This is the least developed out of all my aus tbh bc what essentially happened was a few nights ago i bolted upright from a dead sleep thinking "hanahaki..... but ON PURPOSE" and now i just have that floating around in my brainpan.
