The following was submitted by my lovely ☃️anon, & I needed to make this it’s own post given how long it is, my replies & clarifications are written in between this breakdown & theory (Ex: A/N > Etc.).

chapter 7; the reader and Gojo have lighthearted banter about how the reader "started this" situation.

this was regarding a completely different situation but it baffled me how much it connects to the plot itself; the reader making the "mistake" of leaving her door open, and how it lead to months full of trauma and love. probably completely unintentional, but such a good detail.

The way he words his question only furthers that little feeling in your chest. It's almost as though he were implying that any and all versions of you would be acceptable in his eyes. - Chapter 16

THE WAY WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT CHOSO WOULD STICK BY US REGARDLESSSSSSSS AAAAAA WE'RE SO BLIND!!! i just hope this stays true to the sequel :')

"No, I wish you didn't have to hate me." He says, shutting his eyes again and sucking in a deep breath, "B-But... it's uh, It's okay. I can live with you hating me." - Chapter 21

AAAA WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!!!! WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS FORESHADOWING OUR FUTURE WITHOUT GOJO 😭😭😭 how he can live with the idea of the reader hating him so long as she's happy with Choso, especially considering his later revelations of how twisted his actions were and how if you stuck with him, he'd view you differently. fuck.

You despise the fact that he loves you. To you, it's almost entitled for him to feel like he has that right. How dare he hold such a strong emotion for you? If he felt this way, why is he forcing you to sleep with people for him? It makes no sense.

Why would someone claim to love you and put you through so much?

If he's been in love with you all this time, why start the list in the first place? Why couldn't he have just tried to win your heart from the beginning? Why the list? Why the blackmail? You don't understand him. - Chapter 23

i'm crushed. we didn't understand because we didn't know that Sukuna was involved. that could mean a million other things. i have some far-fetched theories about this but hear me out later!!!

the entirety of chapter 23 had me fucking floored while i was rereading. THE FORESHADOWING WAS EVERYWHERE!!! EVERY FUCKING WHERE

"No sweetheart, Sukuna's an asshole but..." His expression flickers and his smile fades away. He swallows and then clears his throat, "I'm pretty sure he'll satisfy you just fine."

...

You narrow your eyes at him, "Are you sure?"

"Fuckin' positive," Gojo suddenly sounds pissed and you grow concerned. The arm around you gets a little tighter while he walks you through some crowds and you keep looking at the man confused.

There's a vein popping out along his jawline because of how hard he's gritting his teeth.

of course he's aggravated because he knows that Sukuna is the one behind the list in the first place 😭😭😭 I'M SORRY WE DOUBTED YOU SATORU, FUCKKKK

——FIFTEEN MINUTES. That was the exact amount of time it took you to seduce Sukuna. The act was way too easy. Actually, it was suspiciously easy.

BECAUSE HE FUCKING KNEW 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

"What all did you plan on doing tonight aside from getting harassed by strangers?" Sukuna suddenly questions against your skin.

You ignore how close he is and the way his lips make you tense, turning your head to face forward. Chuckling at his last comment, "Same thing as everyone else here." You reply, slightly confused by his question.

"Bullshit," He utters, "Nobody dresses like this without the intent of gaining my attention," Sukuna claims while his hands slide back down along your body.

this 100% could be just him being cocky and Sukuna, but the recent reveal just makes this feel like an extra demeaning interaction. but of course, it's Sukuna.

chapter 24 is so fucking shady too with everything we know. i know you addressed some of these points already bc i brought them up in previous anon messages, but these things still had me paranoid;

the way Sukuna leaves us and tells the reader to go to his room after a certain amount of time (i know he could have just been tidying up real quick but everything about this man has me on edge)

the way he's been consistently on the phone since the reader entered the room, which is shortly after she messaged Gojo saying that she'll be able to cross Sukuna off of this list by tonight which he wasn't happy with at all.

no seriously, he kept diverting his attention to something in the bathroom and then came out, still on his phone. maybe he's talking to literally anyone else but STILL I'M PARANOID

this happens in chapter 25 but the way he keeps smiling while the reader kisses him is just so smug of him especially considering the original reason as to why the reader's even interacting with him

then the spicy chapters with Sukuna…

the foreshadowing that the lack of knowledge of Sukuna's reputation will come back to bite her in the ass; first with the knowledge that he is abusive, and then her finding out that he is the curator of the list, knowing the full details of her blackmail and even threatening her again.

WHO DID HE FUCKING FIGHT HELPPPPP MY MIND IS BOGGLING there's no way it's Gojo, right? they're both too unscathed in these next few chapters for there to have been a fight between the two of them.

the way he tried to humor the reader about her "job" even though he was in on the whole thing. UGH. SUKUNA WHEN I GET YOU SUKUNA?? 👊👊👊👊 especially with that "whore" joke right afterwards. i can't stand him. i know that it's implied that he has a twisted view on women from having abusive women in his life (his mom and his ex who he punched) BUT STILL. he's so lucky he's fictional and hot.

the fact that we're able to pick up on the fact that it's a "crazy coincidence" that he continues the whore jokes UGHHHHH HE HAS BEEN PLAYING US FROM THE STAAAAAARTT

Gojo got upset at something from Sukuna's party, he didn't want you to call yourself a whore all of a sudden, Sukuna seems to have believed that was your actual job, and you remember how pissed Gojo seemed as he thought about you sleeping with Sukuna-

Holy fuck. Are the two connected somehow? Is something going on? What does Gojo owe Sukuna? Does Sukuna know you only slept with him as payment to clear Gojo's debt? Is-

seriously though, these chapters killed me. the official end obliterated my heart. it's so fucking bittersweet i want to scream at the top of a high building. the reader ends up happy and with someone she loves, which is fantastic for her. she deserves that after everything she went through. Choso treats her so, so well.

but Gojo. with the theories i have, i feel horrible. i was so harsh towards him as a die hard Choso girly but these endings changed me. i just hope i'm right.

the fact that his healing journey is harsher than ours makes this ending sting so much. he's healed, and you can see it with his demeanor from the call and the way he interacted with the reader.

we were always made aware of the way he looked at us such deep attachment. the initial gleam shows that he's happy to see us, but that he's not reliant on us for his happiness anymore. he's finding that on his own, and it's a grueling process for him. i wished the reader gave him a hug, but that would probably make me feel even worse.

"Through my blackmailing, I fell for you but I also did it because I loved you from the start." i'm gonna throw up bro i'm so sad. i'm proud of his growth. his obsession was so, so strong but he always prioritized the reader's happiness over himself. i know that being self-sacrificial is so core to his personality but it doesn't make it suck any less. i'm devastated. i started blasting mitski in the car on my way to work after reading this.

i thought i was ready for the journal burning. i was so ready for this tie to be severed, for them to finally move on. but i failed to realize that it could ultimately mean a life without each other. it makes sense as to why, but it still sucks.

kami i need that poly ending before i cry my eyes out at 4 am rn. you know i can't handle angst, but bittersweet endings lowkey hurt me even more. i need all my babies to be happy. i desperately need it.

but that alt ending... fuck. in a horrible, sick, and twisted way, i'm relieved. i'm a Choso girly from the bottom of my heart but i can't let this Gojo go omfg. even if he shows up for one more chapter, i think i'll be alright. BUT IT BETTER NOT BE FOR DEATH KAMI!!!! I HAVE A FEW EXCERPTS THAT SUGGEST DEATH FLAGS BUT I AM SIMPLY NOT LOOKING AT THEM. okay, time for my mind-fucky theory. pls bare with me. if it wasn't obvious by my last post, i'm 100% on board with the theory that Sukuna's blackmailing Gojo, which started this whole thing. but the thing that is getting me is how this all connects. i have some assumptions that could make sense, but there are a handful of gaps. here's my thought process;

Sukuna's blackmailing Gojo by using his obsession/love against him.

we are already familiar with the fact that Gojo has liked the reader for years. there was a chapter where Gojo mentioned that it started off as a "crush" but he was so oblivious to his own obsession up until the reader mentioned it to him. it's to the point that he didn't understand what was wrong with the idea of hurting people for the reader. who's to say that Sukuna didn't catch him in some sort of heinous act regarding the reader like stalking?

Gojo didn't understand the difference between love and obsession until later on in the story. this would be consistent with the implication that Gojo just loved her so deeply that his morals were askew as we have yet to find out how far his love goes.

what if Sukuna caught him in the act of doing god knows what, and brought up the fact that if the reader found out about this, that she'd get super freaked out and would do everything she can to get away from him (considering probably barely knew each other, if at all, at this point). but why would Sukuna devise such a plan over a money bribe? well, Sukuna's already revealed to be wealthy, and maybe he was bored. the same line that Gojo kept repeating to the reader whenever she questioned him as to why he did it. what if Gojo asked Sukuna why he's blackmailing him, and he said the exact same thing; "I was bored." we see how much Sukuna mirrors Gojo's speech by calling the reader "sweetheart" often, what if Gojo did the same thing?

we wondered in chapter 23 how Gojo reaches out to these men to ensure their debt is "paid," but considering how oblivious everyone else on the list is to Gojo owing them anything, it would make sense that he only reports to Sukuna as he is ordered to do so. but two things stumped me on this theory overall.

the reader said that she used to party a lot and get involved with boys before Gojo. if he was stalking her for so long, why did he wait so long to approach her?

what specifically would be the blackmail that Sukuna has on Gojo?

regarding the first point, it's been mentioned that Gojo has been "scared of women" and was shy when it came to approaching the reader. he knew of her for so long, but was able to constantly slip under her radar. considering how much of a pervert he is, it wouldn't have been surprising for him to sneak around and watch in on the reader hooking up with other guys. after all, these guys were probably complete strangers to him and all he cared about was you. remember how Gojo was basically able to tune out his own best friend, Suguru, when the reader was hooking up with him in their living room? it wouldn't be wild to assume that he was able to do the same for your other hookups as he spied on you.

to connect this with second point, what if Sukuna caught Gojo being a peeping tom on the reader during a party hook-up? while being so distracted in the act of spying, Sukuna spots him. the reader wouldn't be alright with the fact that someone who's barely an acquaintance (if that, depending on the time this occurred) to her has been perving around and watching her have sex without her consent. she would do anything to get away from Gojo, and of course that would crush him. Gojo tried to buy Sukuna's silence by any means necessary. so, Sukuna generated a list of people that he and Gojo mutually knew for the reader to fuck. the reasoning for it would be the fact that Gojo has to sit through the process of having the girl he likes fuck a bunch of guys besides him, and the fact that Gojo knew all these men would make it sting more. plus, he has a reputation for hookups. (chapter 8)

but why would Gojo agree to this deal with Sukuna, and why would he also go with the method of blackmailing the reader? it's basically a guarantee that the reader would be scared away regardless. but again, we could recall that Shoko mentioned that he was too "scared of women" to approach the reader at first. this was his chance to finally approach her. plus, "once that video is gone, there is no excuse he'll have to be around you." (chapter 8)

but the more i thought of this reasoning for the two points, the more bizarre it felt. so what if instead of Gojo being a peeping tom, it was Sukuna. we get so many hints that Sukuna has eyes and intel everywhere. we get an indirect implication of this when he called us out for rolling our eyes during our phone call with him. yes, it could be completely by chance, but it's still a great hint that he "sees everything" and "knows everything." we get an even bigger hint towards this in the alt ending when he directly references The F*ck List.

A/N > Others have taken note of how Sukuna knew she rolled her eyes but trust me, that’s just to show that Sukuna knows the reader’s body language more than he’s let on & paid attention to her a lot during the time they were together.

it wouldn't be too far fetched to assume that he has some shady videos taken of people without his consent, some possibly acquired through other people (like how Gojo was revealed to have sent Sukuna the video of the reader from the first chapter). what if Gojo caught Sukuna with the video, threatened him to delete it, and Sukuna counterthreatened to have it be sent and posted everywhere. it would be highly ironic, but consistent with the way that Gojo and Sukuna practically mirror each other at times. the reasoning for the list choices would still be the same for this theory, too.

loved you from the start; his obsession has been consistent from the start (supports Gojo being a peeping tom theory) or he has always had a deep concern for you (supports him wanting to stop Sukuna from spreading blackmail of you instead).

“I’ve sacrificed everything for you, y’know.”

“How? What’s everything that you’ve sacrificed, hm?”

“You. I sacrificed the woman I love to make her happy.” Gojo admits, and of all he’s said thus far, that feels like the truest statement.

“I could’ve been happy with you.” You remind him.

He laughs, “Yeah well, I’m an idiot.”

You scoff, “That’s all you have to say?”

“Yup.” - Chapter 56

is he an idiot for being a peeping pervert instead of just approaching you normally? maybe. how does this make her happy? she ends up finding love through Choso, through the list, through the blackmail.

But deleting the video means ... he has no more leverage over you and can't force you to help him with the hole he's dug for himself. - Chapter 8

the hole being the blackmail set against him by Sukuna.

Gojo's behind you cursing at himself for being unable to tell you the truth.

He's so scared that you'll never help him without the blackmail and, well, he has every right to be because you're pretty sure that if it weren't for those videos he has over your head, you wouldn't be doing any of this. - Chapter 9

the videos he's referencing is the original video from chapter 1 and the fake video he lied about with Suguru, but he can't tell the reader the truth because it's too twisted and risky (supports Gojo peeping tom theory).

He silences himself in thought. There are so many ways he could go about answering such a question but the possibilities of how you may react are endless. Plus, you're drunk and if he's going to admit or explain anything to you, it'll be while you're sober.

"Because..." Gojo's voice gets so quiet that you almost don't catch what he says, "...I don't have any other choice." - Chapter 21

if he didn't go through with his list, Sukuna would have went through with Gojo's blackmail, thus resulting in either you getting as far away from Gojo as soon as possible or Sukuna's video being sent around.

He let something slip abruptly, "W-Wish I c-could tell you everything, sweets..."

Your brows furrow at that.

YES GIRL!!!! SUKUNA'S BEHIND THE WHOLE LIST, HE'S BEHIND THE BLACKMAIL GIRLYPOP

"Anything," Gojo says, meeting your gaze. He's so serious that it's almost dark the way he looks at you, "I'd do anything for you." - Chapter 29

"I meant it when I said I'd do anything for you."

You follow his motions and then end up right back in his arms, "Right..."

"I'd sacrifice the very thing I love just to see you happy." Gojo claims proudly.

You scoff, "Thought' I was the thing you loved?"

"You are."

His words bewilder you, "Then that makes no sense."

"It won't." Gojo shrugs. - Chapter 29

anything. even if it means putting your body, heart, mind, and career on the line. directly supports the theory that Sukuna initially had blackmail on the reader.

"We're the same, y'know..." He suddenly says, his voice breaking again, "We both want someone so terribly bad but our situations prohibit us from getting that person."

"You could've prevented all this though..."

Gojo sniffles and you feel a drop of wetness slide down his cheek and slip against your palm. The man was crying? Why? - Chapter 30

this whole time we've been told that Gojo and the reader share more similarities than the reader realizes. what Gojo is to the reader, the reader is to Choso. while Choso now knows of the men that the reader slept with, he doesn't know why. he doesn't know about you being blackmailed. you know that you had to sleep with these men. you don't know why. you didn't know it was because of Gojo being blackmailed.

"For loving me, Satoru. It's not a crime," You say, mocking a comment he made to you earlier, "You're allowed to love me. So, for that, and that only, I forgive you."

Those words healed so many more wounds in his heart than you realized. It was like that was all he ever needed to hear. If Gojo's mistake was loving you and that's what caused this, then you forgive him.

If in some twisted way, his feelings started the list, you forgive him.

COME ON NOW.

There’s so much going unspoken but the two of you knew what either was saying, you understood each other more than either of you realized. - Chapter 35

“Well,” Gojo sighs heavily and then draws your hands off his face, leaning down to you a bit, “Sometimes, sacrifices need to be made in exchange for one’s happiness.”

“Are you telling me that all this was for the greater good?” You quiz as you raise a curious brow.

“Something like that, yeah,” He shrugs. - Chapter 45

You tell him, “If I had one wish, it’d be that you did that from the beginning.”

Gojo opens his mouth to say something but then he swallows his words down. He nearly fucked up.

“All you had to do was talk to me,” Your shoulders raise into a shrug as you move a hand to the doorknob, “Things could’ve been different if you did.”

“Even if I’ve been obsessed with you since the beginning?” He questions and he’s stepping closer to you again. He can’t possibly wrap his head around that possibility-

You laugh a bit, “Especially if you were obsessed from the beginning,” You didn’t know it but that statement right there made the man feel as though his world was falling apart, loads of regret tumbling over him as he stares at you with wide eyes, “Satoru I think you forgot but, before all this started, aside from Shoko… I was lonely.”

Gojo’s throat goes dry and he fails to form a response to that, “I…”

“If you had just talked to me one time, and more than a hey or how are you,” The way your eyes soften, a slim sheer gloss of tears coating your gaze as you speak to him, “I would’ve fallen for you.”

He grits his teeth, “Don’t tell me that.”

“But it’s true.” You say.

And just like that, Gojo was crumbling all over again. If only you knew how much he regretted everything after hearing you say that. - Chapter 46

if he had just spoke to the reader before all of this, maybe she wouldn't have gone to those parties, hooked up with those people, and caused whatever kind of blackmail Sukuna had on Gojo (or on her).

He wishes he could take it all back, his feelings for you included. If only he could go back and stop himself from ever being curious about you. That’s what started it after all. Because, at the end of the day, Gojo knew who you were before you knew who he was— hell, even before Shoko knew who you were. - Chapter 53

then what is the timeline of his obsession starting? has it been before Gojo? could his blackmail have taken place even before Shoko introduced you two, adding to the weight of the threat that Sukuna held over Gojo's head (regarding the peeping tom theory).

but there were certain parts that stumped me and my theories so i have some weird reasonings around them;

It's selfish of him and seriously fucked up but, he's said it before and he'll say it over and over again-- you're all he has. He made promises to everyone on that list, promises of delivering a woman to them at some point, and of course, he couldn't convince anyone he knew to do such a thing.

So again, the situation with you just happened to be a coincidence.

The problem is that Gojo hates that it's you. He hates that you're the one he ended up doing this to. - Chapter 8

Gojo's known to be a silly guy so it could make sense that he actually did promise these guys hookups for reasons unrelated to his blackmail. after all, he does have a reputation for getting people hookups. the coincidence is that Sukuna now has dirt on Gojo and wants to toy with him. by making the reader sleep with them the guys he coincidentally owes hookups to, he fulfills his role/reputation and relieves his debt at the same time. two birds, one stone.

A/N > As we later learn that some of the “debt” Satoru claimed to have isn’t real, we can also infer that his reputation & the promises he’s made to these men were done out of coincidence. Take Toji for example; tell me you can’t see an interaction between him & Gojo where Gojo gets a bad grade and wants to get it up so he taunts his professor with the idea of getting him a hookup & Toji would laugh it off considering Gojo’s reputation ;)

another thing that stumped me is why Gojo got so worked up with the reader referring herself as a whore, and the connection to Sukuna. my delulu reasoning is that once Sukuna threatened Gojo with blackmail by either of the two theories/methods i mentioned, Sukuna casually referred to the reader as a whore. that caused a major fight between the two, possibly even getting physical (which can refer back to the implication that Gojo has hurt people for the reader).

the fight could have increased the tension and severity of the situation, so Sukuna decides to add Choso to the list knowing how easily attached Choso gets. in chapter 5, the reader and Gojo were discussing the list and Choso specifically. Gojo was even noted to be relieved when the reader had mentioned that they'll just have to hope that Choso doesn't get attached, as he obviously holds deep feelings for the reader. Sukuna knows that by going through with the blackmail with Choso involved, Gojo most likely will not end up with the reader if Choso get attached and the reader reciprocates those feelings.

there's that moment after the reader fucked Sukuna that still messes with my brain. with my theories, my brain's thinking that he contemplated on collecting even more blackmail on the reader. for what reason? idk, to be an ass? to torment Gojo further and add more to his blackmail? but maybe he decided not to because he already has plenty of blackmail on the reader (if the theory of Sukuna having a video of her from way back then is true) and fucking her knowingly made Gojo pissed considering all the dirt Sukuna has.

so why can't Gojo tell her the truth now? why does he want to wait years in advance? maybe he's hoping that by that time, not only will you forget and not care about the situation overall, but maybe Sukuna will forget all about it as well. the chances of Sukuna holding on to the reader's blackmail for that long is slim and the reader would most likely be in a situation where she is completely separated from Sukuna depending on her job and living situation with Choso. the stakes are lower than if he were to reveal everything to you now, at a moment where your life is still so uncertain. it would go against his wish for you to end up happy.

It's going! I'm going to put everything below the cut in case I ramble.

Is this fandom still alive btw? Are there any other people out there drooling over this pathetic man and his hot wife? Or maybe you guys are like me and are patiently waiting for someone else to write a fic lmao.

I took a long break from writing for a while and have only recently gotten back into it. And I think that break did me some good! Writing doesn't feel as grueling as it used to so I'm making steady work on that fic. But you didn't hit read more to learn about my personal life. You wanted to hear how the fic is going.

And anon... 👀 I am at 5k words and we're not even at the brat taming yet 😩😩😩

But I am bringing the spice and I'm honestly quite happy with it so far. I struggle to capture this feeling of mundaneness (is that even a word?) in all my fics. Basically, I want them to feel realistic to me and not flat. I can already feel myself rambling so I'll stop myself.

I have no clue when the fic will be finished. I currently only write while I commute to school and back (rip anyone who glances at my phone).

Here's a chonker of a snippet to tide you over:

(Context: Reader doesn't keep their promise to return home on time. Currently they're in their car)

You decide to take a peek at your phone, unlocking the screen to be greeted with a wall of text. A grin sneaks onto your face, and you glance at your surroundings. Taking a risk, you shimmy your pants down past your knees. Turning on the camera, you snap a picture of your drooling cunt, framed perfectly by a pair of dark, lacy underwear. This specific one happened to be one of Yuushi’s favourites since it was crotchless. He liked fucking you senseless while still being able to admire the lingerie.

You scroll up and skim over his messages. They all pretty much mean the same thing: you’re being severely punished when you arrive home. Maybe this is pouring gasoline on an open flame, but—you smirk and hit send—you think you’ll enjoy watching it all burn.

You reluctantly slide your damp pants back on—it’s better than making a mess on the car seat. Those things can be a nightmare to clean. Not even a minute later you can see that he’s looked at your picture. Almost immediately after, the call screen appears with Yuushi’s caller ID. You turn the ringer off your phone and place it in the cup holder with the screen facing away. “Sorry, Yuushi. I shouldn’t call and drive at the same time,” you say in a singsong voice, knowing very well he can’t hear you. How pissed off is he now? You hum and turn the key, feeling the car roar to life. You glance over your shoulder at the bags behind you. At least you remembered to buy many, many, many condoms and another bottle of lube. Shifting gears, you pull out of the parking lot and drive to your doom.

Vox is ahead of Alastor in terms of effective in-the-moment conflict resolution, but goddamn if he isn't fucked up in his own fun little ways. They're so not done with most of these issues, but at least they're on they're way to maybe be able to have a real conversation about them!

As a sucker for medical gore and aroace angst, I lack the words to express my love and appreciation for your most recent installment of 666, but your writing of radiostatic's dynamic was captivating and proved to be such a lovely read as always! I loved that you touched on Alastor's relationships with the women around him as that has always been such an interesting aspect of his character to me! I never really put much thought into how Vox's apparent avoidance of Alastor in the show could mirror Alastor's disappearance, and now it will Not leave my mind. My heart hurts for these two dorks, super looking forward to chapter 2!

"Medical gore and aroace angst" should be the title of my memoir. Honestly, this series has ended up a lot more edgy-bloody than I expected it to, since I usually tend to prefer to portray my whump/angst/violence/etc in a much more roundabout way, but it's actually kinda tipped over into, like... part of the point is how banal it is, how beside the point. The upsetting heavy-hitting bits aren't the blood, they're everything else that goes on around it. Anyway, thank you so much! <3 I think your heart will find some relief in chapter two, haha, I hope you enjoy!!

Meanwhile alastor, completely convinced that there’s no situation where vox actually loves him and is happy with the way things are—either vox wants more and is going to start asking for more, or he doesn’t actually love him and just wants to have sex with him and thus either way he is a Liar. They’re so fucking bad at this. No one is capable of being the adult here. I think they need an auspitice.

It's really funny that you said that, because that is kind of exactly the role that [spoiler] ends up playing, though in a more roundabout way, hahaha. They certainly need someone to, like, get them to be having the same conversation with each other instead of two parallel ones. I think the fun thing about writing Alastor reacting to his own feelings is just how much his reaction can change based on how things are framed for him, and it leaves a lot of wiggle room for how differently I've ended up writing him reacting to the season 1 finale in 666 vs in Happily Ever After, and Other Shit Nepotism Can't Buy.

But, god, you really nailed the description of what Alastor is feeling. <3

Vox in the latest 666, my ENTIRE HEART. Literally nothing about how he read the situation was a bad take or a leap to conclusions, but alastor constantly says the opposite of what he means and refuses to admit vulnerability or friendship and what the hell else was vox meant to do with that, of course he backed off, they need to have this talk so badly

It's a result of how much of their communication has been nonverbal, implied, and talking around things - they'd been doing so well up until this point, but there's only so far that can take you before you start thinking that you're on the same page when really you're reading two completely different books! Probably one of my favorite lines to write, ehehehe. THANK YOU ANONNNN <3 It's kinda interesting to see how differently some people read this. Some folks thought Alastor was saying it to hurt Vox (which is how Vox read it). Some folks thought it was true (how Alastor intended it). Some folks thought Alastor was trying to fit into the mold that he thought Vox wanted from him (how I intended it). All of them make sense as readings! >:)

"Why are you staring at me?" You asked Edward while turning to look at him. Currently you too were currently in the woods together. Alone just how you liked it. But his intense eye contact made you feel giggly. You were just trying to read right now.

"What do you mean?" Edward said, basically fluttering his eyelashes in his own little way.

“You know what I mean don’t try to play dumb you sparkly mind reader.” You laugh pushing his shoulders playfully, making him smile.

“You're just so beautiful you know that?” He said, again staring at you with those loving eyes of his.

“You look like a love-stuck fool.” You said softly reaching up to stroke his check.

“I can’t say that you are wrong. I’ve waited for you for as long as I could remember.. I never thought you would come to me.” Edward said doing the same to your cheek.

“Maybe I just wasn’t born yet.” You laughed in his face. Once again making him smile.

“You are everything I could’ve ever wished for. No matter how long it took you to get here I am forever grateful for you and your love.” He said, pulling you closer into him for a kiss.

The kiss was everything you knew he felt for you. The way his lips moved against yours was intoxicating. The way his cold skin brushed against your warm ones brung a shiver to your body that only would happen with his touch. The way he was always so gentle with you, even though you always would tell him that you can handle it. He can let go. He never did. He wanted to make sure you were safe from anyone and everything. Including himself.

With these thoughts he pulled away from the kiss. Once again holding himself back.

“You make me crazy.” He said looking at you with dreamy eyes.

His words made you smile like they always do.

“I know. Now can you take me home Charlie is waiting for me.” You stated.

“I wish I could keep you here with me forever.”

“Too bad you don’t have forever because you refuse to change me but you know.” You said standing up gathering your things.

“Why do you have to bring this up?” Edward said, holding his head in immediate frustration on the topic.

“Because Edward you want forever when you know damn well forever is to not be had unless I am changed. What if one day I decide to go on a roller coaster and the ride falls apart cuz someone left a piece of gum on the track. Or what if I’m running from somebody and I don’t notice and I hit my head on a tree huh Edward? Then what! What will you do?!” You shouted but then backed down once you realized you were screaming at him.

“Carlise will fix it. He’ll always help and do his best-”

“His best may not be enough and you know it.” You said, your eyes following him as he stood up.

“I’d only hope that you would come to forgive me as I joined you in the afterlife, If there be a side for me with you.” Edward said.

You blink away the tears in your eyes that came with his words. You couldn’t bare the thought of Edward killing himself just so he could be with you. Were you really that important to him as he says you are? A part of you believed him. The other part of you said that this couldn’t be. You never thought anyone could love you enough to do something like that to themselves. Thinking of it yourself you don’t believe that you could live without him yourself either.

It would put a damper on your future of dating forever. The trust issues you always have would become 10x worse. You’d always think back to him. Edward. You’d always compare your potinect lovers to him. From the first moment you laid eyes on Edward Cullen you’ve seen yourself with him. That was your man from the minute you said Hi.

You always wondered if you manifested it or if it was just fate.

“You’d kill yourself? To be with me?” You questioned frowning a little.

“I’d do anything to be with you y/n.”

“Besides, turn me?” You said looking up at him to which he sighed in response.

“Your my light, My life, My soul. I couldn't do that to you, you have to understand that.” Edward said, frowning. His eyes searching your face. You could tell he was trying to read your mind but he couldn’t. He never could. You weren't necessarily a shield but everytime he tried to read your mind he’d get hit with a wave of overwhelming thoughts. Everything was always jumbled up. Nothing ever made clear since if you tried. And if he tried for too long the voices or thoughts would start screaming at him forcing him away. At least that's how he explained it.

“I can try.”

“Thank you, do you want me to take you home?” He questioned.

“Yeah, make sure I don’t die on the way. You know, I don't want to ruin our couple of years too early. That wouldn’t be so kind of me now would it?” You said giving him a soft smile to try and tell him you were okay with it for now, but also that you weren’t done fighting him for forever and a day.

“You're never gonna stop till I said yes are you?” Edward asked with a slight smile on his face.

“Nope, not until the day I die, Even then who knows I might haunt you.” You said turning your back to him and starting to walk away.

Behind you you heard Edward laugh making you smile even more. You always loved his smile. You loved being the reason for his smiles and laughs.

“I love you.” He said. You heard him walk with you now.

“I love you too.” And you were left alone with your thoughts and the presence of your sparkly vampire. That you would love till the day that you die.

Jimin, dude, man, bro, wtf? What in actual goddamn fuck???

Listen, there like 3 Jimin solo songs I like and I am not a big fan of some of his vocal choices but let me tell you I was really hyped and hooked when the teasers came out. The drama, war anthem-ness, the grandeur of everything, I liked it all. So I was quite disappointed when the news of him rapping came out because I've heard him rap before and it was bad, and I especially was reluctant to watch the whole MV after I heard a snippet of it on my tl (the stylistically autotuned rap part, yeah). I was afraid to be disappointed after such great teasers.

despite my fears I finally watched the MV... fuck... WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK PARK JIMIN??? It's so damn good! Even the rap part??? I LOVED it. Separately it doesn't sound very nice but combined and mixed it somehow works well. And his stylistic vocal choices, the way he changes his voice all the time, it's amazing, it keeps you hooked and anticipating what comes next, it keeps surprising you, even shocked at some point. I haven't been a fan of bts songs since the fake love era (even black swan is not IT for me, it's really good but not THAT great) so it says a lot. this one is easily one of my faves EVER in their discography.

The song is a statement. A grand opening. Empowering.

BTW, the song is totally a type of song that you would play in your car while driving around with your friends and singing-shouting along. Wow, just wow.

Ask 2: Opinions on set me free pt. 2 seem to be divided in some circles 👀👀👀 ofc because of the vocal processingz that’s a common complaint for so many years already lol. I mean Pdogg is the main producer of the album so idk what they expected… personally i love the song and i think the vocal processing works but i think i can understand some people have different tastes and expectations… at the end of that day it was a choice consciously chosen by jimin and his producers. It’s there for a reason imo. I’m happy though that jimin really tried something different!!!!! So many people were expecting a ballad for this title instead we got a banger lol… and like you said Yoongi’s style is obvious even when he doesnt have a hand in making it directly… now i’m so curious what like crazy will sound like!!!! I don't think I'll ever write a full review for this song, because there's a lot about it I don't want to talk about, a lot I don't want to share and would rather keep to myself.

That said,

Everything about Set Me Free Pt. 2 is right up my alley and objectively brilliant. Every single thing about it: the melody, the autotune, the chants, the rap, the fact the whole thing plays out in the same prison, the way Jimin uses his body as a canvas for inscriptions that only enhance his storytelling, the performance.

I have nothing to say to anyone who doesn't like this or that about it. Rapper Jimin was in my wishlist for PJM1 so... and I'm a hiphop head who listens to Travis Scott-type autotune at least a couple times a day. Plus I've got Yoongi, that nasty, autotune-loving, foul-mouthed cat as my bias. Joon and Hobi aren't that much nicer either. Anybody reading this to hear me say something critical about this song should wake up and smell the matcha.

Some things I want to gush about:

First of all, the instrumentals. PDogg went stuuuuuuuuuuuupid on this track goddamn.

This song is pure trap. An orchestral, haunting trap anthem is what Set Me Free Pt. 2 is.

It is so sick. So maddening in how good it is. No wonder he was so excited about Jimin ending k-pop in 2023, the song he produced is easily the best produced Korean song so far and believe me when I tell you that is really saying something, because the competition this year has been stiff.

The Vocals

Jimin's voice is the most emotive in BTS. That's one reason I love it. Another reason is because nobody's vocals in BTS, in k-pop, fuck, in all of Korea, drips as much sauce as Park Jimin's. I've said before, Jimin sounds inhuman almost, I describe his voice as serrated steel coated in honey and wrapped in silk because it sounds distinctly metallic, but can be oddly soothing. But with Jimin, there's a tone he takes sometimes that has this undercurrent of nasty, of unapologetic vulgarity, and in Set Me Free Pt. 2, he uses autotune to amplify it to brain-piercing perfection.

PDogg brilliantly uses autotune to aid Jimin in sending a message.

The shrillest, most distorted we hear Jimin is when he raps after the first chorus, and that's by design. The use of autotune in this song is intentional, and we can see this because every time it ratchets up, Jimin is being crude and uninhibited - as though it's a second voice, an alter-ego, or Jimin himself speaking the deepest truest thoughts he holds, pushing them to the surface after suppressing them for nine years.

PDogg has used this sort of autotune on Jimin's voice before, in the second chorus of Black Swan (timestamp: 2:24 - 2:50)

It's hidden in the backing vocals in Black Swan but felt in full cathartic force in SMF pt 2. And it feels incredible.

The first time scene occurs during the Hashira training arc/right before infinity castle begins, so you will see a certain sun breather trying to get Giyuu to train with him as he makes his way toward the shrine to see his girl and pop her cherry

I will say, I know I have y’all stressed but many of you all commented on the strength of Sanemi and Reader’s love in Part III — just remember that! And remember how hard they both fought to get back to one another. That matters!

Regarding whether Sanemi had any “girlfriends” between Kanae and Reader — I’m not so sure he did. One, because he was pretty isolated in the Wood at his cabin, guiding strangers. Two, I think his “experience” is probably less than you’re thinking — he might not have been a virgin but he also wasn’t a sex god by any means. Reader has no experience prior to Sanemi, so I imagine she’s a bit biased when it comes to him — it probably seems like he’s much more experienced than she is by comparison. I think he knows enough about the mechanics and then just goes by pure instinct.

I’ve joked with a couple of mutuals that were she to talk to Kotoha she’d probably be like “what do you MEAN it’s not normal for your partner to have a knot?? How else does he keep all that cum insane??”

I don't remember who, but someone once said Shoma performs by pacing himself according to his rivals' condition. If they make mistakes, he does, too. If they have high scored performances, so does he. It is not always true, but I think they are right. In my opinion, what delayed Shoma's acquisition of gold medal before was him believing he cannot beat Nathan or Yuzuru. This season, it looks like he has mixed feelings regarding competition about artistry and all. But this aspect aside, when he was asked about beating Malinin, he says it is difficult. If we check the reality, I think it is not true. Of course, judges' decision to infilate Malinin's scores through undeserved pcs and all, and detecting and punishing Shoma's every mistake including non-existent ones contribute him to think like that. Not to mention, Shoma never receives the PCS he deserves. In the end, I am afraid Shoma will create his own obstacles by believing he cannot achieve this or that. For me, he is a skater who has a chance of getting olympic gold medal if he continues. Of course 2 years is so far away and an unknown future , but I am trying to emphasize his capability. So, it is not really a question but I wish he considered himself an unbeatable competitor. I wonder what would happen then. Btw, I am okay with Shoma not winning if he is content with himself and his skating. But he is really extremely humble that it looks like it creates a psychological obstacle.

I think there is a lot to unpack here...it might get long...see it as a "discussion" even if you didn't post a particular question...

I cannot tell you who said Shoma would "pace himself according to his rivals"...I think there is a sort of correlation between skaters doing good and skaters following that also doing good and vice versa that a bad performance leads to more skaters having bad performances. If we look at 2018 Worlds free skate for example, everyone in the last group had horrible skates apart from Nathan (who magically wasn't affected or how I believe learned to distance himself from pressure after the horrible SP at the Olympics), which lead Shoma to win silver despite 3 falls, just bc everyone else was even worse. And I think Shoma didn't like winning the medal that way. I think it's only natural that skaters are influenced by the mood of the audience and skaters. Shoma is a skater that watches his competition until he has to start so Shoma knows exactly what he has to do. So I am almost sure he sometimes just does what he has to in order to get the result he needs. If it's crucial to put the combinations in at the end to secure a medal, he does them like at GPF 2023, but if he knows he'd done enough to win like at GPF 2022 he will not go for it. I think Shoma is smart in that regard, he does difficulty also according to his competition sometimes (and I think that was also a strategy that helped Nathan to win bc he always did adjust his difficulty according to his competition). If you want to call it "pacing to his rivals' condition" or just knowing what he has to do in order to achieve what he needs is up to you. Shoma is not really a skater that skates clean, yet his results speak for himself, that he still has such high personal bests of 212 points TSS, even with couple of errors. So I think Shoma will aim for Gold and to beat Ilia, he's just realistic that it's not gonna be guaranteed to win and also that it's not easy. And ofc if we look at the scores this season it's not Shoma who is in the best position. I don't think you have to fear that he will just condition himself to be good enough to podium. Shoma always paces himself with each competition. I think the real obstacle here are his new boots that may hinder the pacing. For the last two years Shoma has paced himself that he would always have peak condition at the 2nd half of the season. (Even if in 2023 Worlds he was injured, he was well prepared)

I don't think that's the entire truth. Yes Shoma didn't believe in himself enough to win for sure, but I also think it was just realistic to not think of winning only. I think Shoma was always one that was in the mix to win but not as the favorite (and that's not bc of the judges but bc of BV and consistency) Tbh Nathan had a crazy consistency and also Yuzu's consistency was way better than Shoma's so in reality the chance to win against Nathan (after 2017-2018 season) and Yuzu (from the start) was slim. If everyone would have been clean, Shoma would not have won. When Shoma started to have 5 quads in 2021-2022 then he could cross the line to win on his own accord, before his BV would not have allowed him to pass Yuzu and Nathan even with a clean skate. But up until then it was not only a lack of confidence. I think Shoma was just realistic. Btw Shoma tried to have a different approach in 2018-2019. He did in fact tell media that he wants to win against Nathan and Yuzu. But this approach let him down. He was good in practice and never got it together in competition against Nathan and Yuzu. I think this approach was even what lead him to struggle so much mentally until he felt he was not good enough for any medal. He was close to quitting soon after Worlds 2019. He came in with the height of winning 4cc and delivered worse than ever at Worlds that season. Afterwards I think the believe in himself was completely broken. It took 2 years to get back on a confidence level and then there was also COVID...that was an emotional rollercoaster, never in a million years would I have imagined him to become back to back World champion, I was worried he would quit without ever achieving any big title.

Again I think Shoma is just being realistic. I am the first person to emphasize that Shoma is still in Gold contender position and I was also the one to continuesly emphasize that the Gold was his to lose last season and I sort of still believe that, bc Shoma so far did not deliver his absolute best while skaters like Ilia and Adam this season have still room for adding points but especially Adam I consider to be at a maximum PB score if he's not adding more difficulty. If Ilia would have landed the 4A at GPf 2023 ofc his points would have been a tad higher as well but it's still nothing that Shoma could not achieve with clean skates for SP and FS. Yet realistically Ilia, Adam and Yuma also have a chance to win, bc their score potential is so close to one another, so for me it's a way healthier approach to not expect to win but just try to focus on yourself and your own goal instead of the win only. I also don't think winning only is truly what Shoma wants at this point bc he said himself that winning is cool but also kind of boring, he lost motivation last season with winning. (That's not a direct quote but a summary btw) Shoma experienced to win, but instead of bunking on his legacy and focusing on a winning streak, he reduced the technical content knowing very well that it would cost him points if he doesn't manage to skate his current BV clean - with a quad more you have more room for mistakes - yet he chose this approach for the season. He also knew a focus on artistry would not get him better scores, yet he still chose this path. If Shoma's goal would be winning only he would not have changed his 5 quad approach this season. He can still very well do the 4S, he could return to a 5 quad program to have better chances at beating Ilia but he so far decided against it. So let's see if he adds it back in for Worlds.

I think Shoma has a chance of getting Gold at Olympics but tbh at this point I doubt that it's what he wants. The Olympics was never as important for him than for everyone else. In 2018 he even said it's just another competition. He underestimated the aftereffects of the celebrity like status and expectations that followed bc of it, but the competition itself was not more meaningful to him. I think 2022 was not that different. I am not convinced that Worlds 2024 will be his last competition, but at the same time I am also not convinced that it's not his last. If Shoma has the ideal skate he thrives for - what medal that may be - he may retire. And actually if that's what he feels is best for him than that's ok. I come to terms with the fact that Shoma will retire sooner or later, it took me a long time but now I can say I am at peace with that.

I don't see Shoma's way as a "psychological obstacle", I see it as a healthy approach to competition. I have seen the contrary approach in Yuzu: Yuzu was all about winning, specific titles, specific goals and that's what worked for him lots of times, but I don't feel it's a healthy approach to always aim for first when you know it's not always gonna happen, no one in this sport is truly unbeatable bc ice is slippery. It will make you unhappy if you're not able to achieve your goals. So in this sense I always felt Shoma has a healthier mindset. It's not that Shoma doesn't like winning or doesn't want to win, but he is realistic that it might not always happen. Shoma will never see himself as an unbeatable competitor, bc he is realistic and bc he knows his flaws. He is not boastful and overconfident, he is humble indeed but I think that's what makes him special that he sees his competition and is happy for them if they achieve something for themselves. He's not unhappy when others win, look at how complimentary Shoma was of Nathan, Yuzu, Adam, Ilia and Yuma. Even if Shoma feels unfairly treated like at NHK23 he didn't begrudge Yuma his win, he let out his frustration against the judges in the interview, but imo he was more unhappy with the result bc he felt the skate was good and didn't get the proper reward, so ppl would like to rewatch it and bc Stephane was so upset about it. If all Shoma cares a bit too much about his surroundings - his fans, the coaches, other skaters - but I don't think that's a bad trait to have. I think if it wouldn't be for fans and Stephane and probably a bit of not knowing what else to do, Shoma would have long retired, but he is still here to reward us all, not himself imo. (Bruh this guy doesn't even know where he keeps all his medals and wanted to gift his medal to the grave. Good that he has a family that cares) It may seem contradictory but I think that's what truly works for him. This season the scores have been quite disappointing - also for Shoma himself - but if we look at it objectively his results ain't bad. He won Nationals, he got a Silver medal at GPF and all of this despite judges not being fully supportive of him, especially the technical panel has been even unfair, yet he didn't finish off podium. I am not disappointed that Shoma doesn't see himself as the best skater - what imo he currently definitely is - but I am disappointed even angry at ppl downplaying his achievements or his fans losing believe in his abilties. The results are out of Shoma's hands in the end - that's up to the judges how they treat him. Let's hope they are fair at Worlds.

I think just as important is that WE as his fans believe in him. That we support him. And with that believe of everyone else around him he has the believe in himself. I believe in Shoma. I trust in Shoma to deliver a performance that leaves us speechless. Will he win? Maybe. But even if not, what's the problem? He has two world titles, he's 26 years old, he has a long career and many medals. He has written his name in the history books. He's the 2nd most decorated Japanese skater of all time behind Yuzu. What more is there to achieve? 😌

little pre-warning for suicide (i'm fine though!!)

sorry if this isn't articulated very well but like. i got into ofmd only last october when season 2 was airing and i still remember it's bc i got a clip on tiktok of the "is that blackbeard?" "no, i'm blackbeard" scene which is SUCH a good fucking hook btw. and before watching it i kind of actually hated it LOL like people do with anything that's popular and Everywhere it just oversaturates sometimes. and it made me feel kind of silly to go back on my own opinion but i didn't even really dwell on that bc me getting into it also happened to coincide with a failed suicide attempt (that kind of funnily also included a gun that misfired like in-show lol). and like i was pretty understandably all over the place, but generally still in the "i want to live" moment that happens right after you nearly properly die. and the thing about suicide recovery is that you don't actually want to recover. so it was a really up and down left and right kind of situation and you're left feeling kind of like a puppet with no strings that's also been thrown into the ocean or something.

but then i liked this show that was funny and silly and i also got to see trans and gay people existing happily and normally which isn't necessarily NEW but it did feel really cool and unique to be able to go Oh and this is the moment where they would usually leave it to subtext and then they actually KISS and it's like woahhhh. i didn't know they could do that... and then as i was still processing what was happening with my own life and like mortality i got to see this character go through the exact same thing and come out on the other side of it ENTIRELY by himself and experience love and self determination and actualisation and i'm not saying it made me want to do it myself but it did feel like a really personal thing for me (hence anon also lol).

and for the few weeks it was coming out i got to sit there and think about how he was doing and it gave me another reason to not do something again. like i am so definitely not the only one who can say "this show saved my life" but honestly it literally did. like there's that thing when you're suicidal where the things that you're sticking around for are the only things you've got so they're as important as anything even if it's like... going to a concert the following week or something. or getting a burger. and i really honestly stuck around just to love this show and my cat.

it's been a few months now ofc and it still sucks and i'm not better or anything but being able to indulge in something fun for fun's sake is the biggest source of joy in my life and tbh it's not gonna go away just because there's going to be no season 3. when i'm feeling too much of particularly anything i have a handy little balm which i know everyone feels but still. a little gifset of ed always makes me feel better if i'm freaking out so it's cool i don't care if it's a bit lame. i'm a bit sad for season 3 and everyone being sad is also making me sadder but i still have a lot of love left so ah. it'll be fine :)

if anything i hope this inspires people to have a little boom in the numbers re: content now that we know there'll be no canon to possibly diverge from and we can make up our OWN season 3 ‼️ which will be fun :)

and then i didn't really come up with anything lmao other than you're right and i love you and i love this show and it's so incredibly important to me and so groundbreaking in so many ways and has made me feel seen in a way that no other piece of media ever has. the queer rep is groundbreaking. the portrayal of ed's suicidality moved me beyond words. there are dozens of other people sharing stories about how ofmd helped them to come out or meet their partner or start transitioning or quit something that was making them unhappy. i watched s2 at a time while i was really struggling with post-covid symptoms. i've met so many incredible people through this fandom. i think about the show dozens of times a day. the show brought me so much joy and they can't take that away

they can't ever take away how special it was and how much it's changed people's lives

i'm very excited to see what the amazing fic writers in this fandom are going to give us in place of s3. i just wish we could've had the rest of the story david wanted to tell

Gale’s simple but very earnest COURTSHIP of Raphael… hm. Kissing his hand, holding his arm to take him somewhere… the way Haarlep initially was a nobleman courting Raphael… grand and empty gestures vs simple but genuine ones.

Really into how open Gale is also, he’s pretty blatant about being into Raphael instead of trying to play coy. It makes sense why Astarion likes him as well, both him and Raphael can take someone that does smth they don’t LIKE, but the mind games of their tormentors would ofc leave them uncomfortable with uncertainty. Which Gale obviously sees, and his openness (imo) is what Raphael is attracted to at least partially.

Personally I think they should kiss just sayin. Also I am even MORE looking forward to astarion and Raphael meeting fr, I feel like they’d wrestle for Gale like two dogs w a squeaky toy 😂

So yeah, Dipper is the first one Mabel have told. She'd stay awake all night thinking about you. Thinking if she really has a crush on you. This would stay for like a week or something- until she finally de dies to talk to the gay cops. They told her that there's also something called bisexuality. You can like both or two genders at the same time.

After that, she felt more relieved, but still had a gay crisis in the middle of the night. She'd rant about it to her brother.

And then after days and days of thinking, confusion, considering,,

Mabel is pretty straight forward in a good way. She's always honest in the most nicest way! When she'd probably confess the moment she sees you. She'd be like "Hey Y/n! Can we talk for a bit? If you're not busy?" And then she'd take you somewhere more private and say "Listen Y/n, you did something to me. Can you guess what it is?" And you'll just stand there confused and nervous because you're scared if you did something wrong. "What is it?" "You made me bi! How cool is that?!" "Wait wha-"

There will be a lot of explaining to do, and thinking. At the end you accepted her feelings and you like her back!! She was so happy and excited she started hopping and hugging you so tight.

so this larry situation has started a discussion. i am not a larrie btw but i know rain you used to be one. in my opinion larry is definitely an example of shipping taken too far.

louis's statement kinda scares me "there’s nothing I can say or do to dispel the believers of that conspiracy. they are so intertwined with what they believe to be the truth now that they won’t actually see the truth for what it is." even after this statement, i saw a few larries who still believe that his management is making him do all this. that gave me the shudders.

if louis and harry used to be a thing and this is how they turned out now, i would happily accept tae and jk to be just friends rather than their relationship turning into something disastrous like larry.

i think for me the only way i will continue to believe in taekook (assuming that they cannot come out officially as a couple) is if they both stay single for pretty much the rest of their life. so this is like a pretty long term theory lol but this will be my ultimate proof. because if they cannot get married or openly be together, its not like they can just tell us that, the only way we can spot it is if both of them are single. and ofc this theory only works out if only tae and jk out of all the members are single well into their age. if literally any other member is also single then this theory doesn't work.

The difficulty of Larry fandom is that after 1d went on hiatus.. there was close to no real interactions to be witnessed between Harry and Louis. Before hiatus, most Larries were still quite certain they were together and they got to actually watch them interact and look at how they reacted to each other. When that disappeared.. the fandom kinda had to go by clues and fill in the gaps. But that leaves so much room to be wrong. That is why I feel fairly certain that they were together during or for parts of 1d, but perhaps not much after hiatus. There’s so much that makes Larry fandom a tough and complicated place. They are dealing with a band that’s no longer active, two solo artists that are quite different, a lot if newer fans who don’t really understand 1d history.. etc. All stuff that makes for a complex situation. Not all Larries are as unhinged (same as how Tkkrs differ from each other), but if you base your opinion on twitter larries 😬.

I think unhinged theories emerge when fans think they have to speak and fight for their favorite artist. We can kinda see it here too, with some fans talking about members hating each other. To me that is unhinged as well. You are absolutely right in saying Larry fandom (as a whole) takes it too far. There’s a lot of unhinged theories going around. I don’t think Louis has to do this because of his management, I think he has a lot of control these days. The idea that he doesn’t is something that stems from their earlier days, when their label and management did seem to have a lot of control.

It is very important to take note of time passing and of situations changing and I feel that is lacking in Larry fandom. A lot of people hold on to what once was without leaving much room for new developments.

The same thing goes for Tkk. I just try to go with what Tae and Jk show us. I think they have continued to show us their closeness so at this moment I have little reason to doubt that they’re together. When that changes (and not to bring down the mood or something, but we do not know how enlistment and being apart will effect them) I will still go with what I see and accept if I feel they have broken up. If at any point one of them announces an engagement or marriage.. I’ll take that to mean they split up or that maybe we were wrong (depending on context).

You always have to do with the information you get. In this situation it’s always possible that at one point something comes to light that changes our perspective. For me Taennie wasn’t that, but for some it was. For me Tae and/or Jk denying Tkk probably will be, others might still carry on.

My ultimate proof of Tae and Jk being together will be when I see both of them come out in 10+ years or so. If they make it so far ofcourse.. otherwise I’ll probably forever wonder 😂. But it’s not that important for me to get ultimate proof of them together. In the end what I want is for them to be happy, whether it’s with each other romantically or platonically.

ik most idols not going to date non fans but for those that have their fs as an idol it must be awkward to have ppl doing readings on them? like im thinking if bts members know about it and their fs isnt it just supposed to then happen at some time in their lives? like ppl who were panicking that it isnt themselves well ofc it wasnt going to be...

can you do a reading on how would bts fs first felt when they knew they were an idols fs / what they think of armies overall and if they pay any attention to bts music cause i feel like if they arent fan of their music then what would they want to be with the members for?

you would have to like them for their music or at least somewhat be a lowkey fan otherwise it would also be awkward than anything else cause a lot of armies would probs want to be with the idols for other aspects like the attention theyd get (both good and bad) money is another reason someone would want to be with bts but not for the genuine relationship and i think the stans that fangirl about it being themselves well they arent going to have genuine relationship otherwise bc a lot of stans might cross the line

honestly id be so curious though for when bts do go publicly in relationships (IF they ever do) cause if ppl are already freaking out about jks fs and now yoongis its surely going to be a dissapointment to many? so i dont blame bts for never speaking about their personal lives outside of the group itself cause they know how quick armies are to overreact to such news of them dating, in fact wouldnt be surprised if a member or two got married without telling fans and one day theyd be like hey btw they just got married not that long ago

and as much as i love kpop music and overall groups i dont think i could cope with it without feeling not trapped but kind of caged in by not being able to be open about it but also their fan bases, like im sure some idols like their western fan base more so bc theres different behaviours they display compared to knetz yet when they are grouped into one huge online "community" i think thats when things get out of control like it did for jks fs

idk these are just my 2 cents on the whole fs thing, sure some people would be idols fs but how can they truly know without being delulu? cause some idols are going to be like eww they wouldnt date a fan due to their fan base or they would maybe date within the safetynet of the industry and just not bother looking elsewhere, foreign idols most likely probs want to date other foriegn idols so the margin is kind of slim or somewhat limited in that respect as to who actually would have chance to date idol

What you say is interesting and right. However I don’t read of the FS because some can be aware of me reading them which I do not want them to know.

What I know from my pov is that people connected to celebs (me for instance) we have HUGE mental breakdowns because of it, we doubt it everyday, find reasons and ways to say « well no, it was all in my head I’m fine » whereas the proofs are in front of us lol. So for the FS it must be WORSE than what we go through.

The delulus thought are not connected and misjudge their wishes as a connection. They have nothing because if you asked them some proofs where there is a connection they won’t give you anything. Saying « yesterday I thought of eating an apple and Felix ate 3 in this live » or « I wished to see Jay’s abs and he showed it » it doesn’t work like that. That is not a connection let alone a real sign.

I can’t talk for the FS because I am not them but they must have felt like a delulu too. They must have felt like they are/were obsessed over their future husband and if they have a good mental state then they may or may not have suffered from this. That’s not easy to know that you’re a celeb spouse with all the pros and cons.

If one of the FS is really lurking there on Tumblr trying to make sense out of their situation they may know deep down the truth but still reject it as they stay silent 🤷🏽‍♀️ if one had interacted with readers then they may like the readings and/or are curious about what is said. I can’t tell 🙃

But for those that are aware let’s greet them and show them how we respect and value them for who they are and not because they are someone’s spouse, have a curvy body, are known, rich, independant and stuff! They deserve love just lile they will give love to their partner ☺️

Hi Marte! I might be wrong ofc but I can't see Niall queerbaiting. He's always been a big lgbt+ ally and has many queer friends, wouldn't they look down on him for it? Obviously during 1D there was a lot of pressure put on them to be straight due to having a female audience. I'm wondering if as time went on Niall realized he wasn't straight. I think that Harry, Louis, Zayn and Liam knew from the beginning. Maybe it took Niall longer to figure it out. Although I remember years ago, I don't follow him as closely now, he would often post instastories with men and I got queer vibes rather than platonic. I'm super curious about his recent queer coding and that people are now taking notice and questioning his sexuality. It seems really intentional. I'm excited to see where it will lead to and will be really disappointed if he returns to pushing heterosexuality. The constant back and forth celebrities do is so irritating. I understand why they do it but it would be great for the lgbtq+ representation if more celebrities actually came out. The conservatives always bleat on about how homophobia doesn't exist anymore and that there is gay privilege but in the same breath they are always targeting lgbtq+ people, like especially Sam Sm*th, and they're still crying over Harry's vogue photoshoot and constantly bringing it up. More out celebrities would normalize queer musicians, actors etc. I wish for that one day. Btw I noticed that Shawn is back in the studio so we'll probably have new music soon. Pretty interesting because twitter music prediction accs have been saying that Shawn, Harry, Justin B*eber are releasing music this year, and now Shawn posted a pic in the studio. Makes it more probable that they're right and we'll have Harry music too! Do you think Shawn will go deeper into the closet? I worry for his mental health and I get the feeling there is a lot of inner struggling going on. Do you think he'll give in?

I think you're on to something. It might be that it took Niall a bit to come to terms with his sexuality. Hate to disappoint you, but Ameli* was at his show last night and he sang to her (all captured on film and posted on twitter of course...) so the back and forth is already happening. If he is queer and his relationship with A is fake, maybe he's allowed to push the queer as long as he balances it out with stunting. Like both H and L have to balance the straight and the gay?

One reason for Niall to queerbait is if he's not selling out his shows. He needs the extra attention that comes with queerbaiting to draw larries and other fans to his shows. Having Shawn on stage and flinging his hanky about sure looks like queerbaiting when he's serenading his gf the next show...

I don't know about Shawn. I know to little, but i'm expecting a stunt when his album comes out (single in april and album in june is what the insider accounts are saying). I hope he comes out because i think it would benefit him immensely, in many ways. I don't think his label is on board with that though. We'll have to see.

confession sunday — i feel like a fake christian

hi!! so i rlly wanted to start making confessions on my blog as a way to let go and put down the thoughts and feelings im having. most of them r toxic and things i shouldn’t be thinking.

anyways, let’s get into mine bc.. yeah.

i feel like a fake christian.

this is something i’ve been struggling with my whole life — but it is resurfaced when i had a conversation w my friends abt witchcraft n the bible n whatnot. she said something along the lines of “you’re not a christian because you believe witchcraft is okay.”

first of all… what? right before this my other friend said “a lot of people in the bible pick and choose what they believe. for example — christian’s aren’t allowed to eat seafood bc it’s seen as impure” and the same girl from earlier agreed n said “i still love my crab legs” 💀 LMDAOOA

im friends w everyone mentioned in this convo btw, so dont worry. no hate to any of them.

during this conversation, i js agreed with the one, let’s call her sarah, that said believing witchcraft is okay makes me not a christian.

sarah made me feel bad — invalidated in a way. i remember walking out that class feeling fake, like i am wrong for what i believe and i need to remove everything that isn’t said in the most common places in the bible from my life.

if it isn’t clear already, i have both of these. i’ve known and believed the stories ik the bible since i was so young, and even now i believe them.

and i have a deep rooted relationship w jesus n god — i mean how the hell do u think i even found out abt other deities 😭 about shifting?? through him dude! it’s only by him answering my prayers that im here rn

what im trying to say is that the “normal” isnt always right. i hate churches — they feel like cults, nd i hate when ppl say ur required to do things — ur not. it’s if u want to and between u n god.

i said this to my friend nile earlier — “but like christianity is supposed to be individuality — it always has been that way. hell, even jesus says it. he flipped tables in a religious place bc they don’t have a relationship w god, they r js acting”.

they didn’t want it — they just wanted to b superior. and that’s not what i want — i want to help others and be happy.
