"What time do you call this?" You knew you were fucked when the taxi dropped you home and the light in your kitchen illuminated the drive way. Your mum made a habit of turning it off every night and you were only getting away with this if everyone was asleep.

It was well past the time your mum and stepdad usually went to bed. Hell, it was well past the time you usually went to bed yourself. You didn't often stay up to 2:37am and you absolutely never stayed out that late. Despite the fact you're in your 20's, your new stepdad had set the rule that you were to be home by 1am every night. No exceptions. Asshole.

It usually wasn't hard to follow his rules. No boys in your bedroom. Don't stay out late. Fill up the fuel you use in the car. Nothing really out of the ordinary. But then again, he kept telling you that you weren't the rule breaking type anyway.

"Sorry, I lost track of time." You did your best to avoid looking at your stepfather while you lied through your teeth. You'd known damn well what time it was and you'd had every intention of staying out until the lights in the club came back on. You just didn't think you'd get caught.

"Mhm." Steve's hum almost sounded convincing, pausing while he folded his arms, his navy blue pyjama top straining around his biceps. "You expect me to believe that? You're a bright girl, sweetheart. I know you can tell the time."

Damn your own body for betraying you like this. His praise makes your tummy flutter and you know it's so damn wrong.

"I know you want to be a good girl, don't you?" He pauses again, waiting for your response and he seems satisfied when you nod. "Always so well behaved for me. You know what? I'll let you pick your own punishment. Just this once." His eyes are trained on your face, watching for any sign of discomfort at the way things are progressing.

"Option 1. I confiscate your car keys." Fair enough but that would be really inconvenient. "Option 2. I confiscate your phone." Oh no, absolutely not. "Option 3. I confiscate that shitty little vibrator you keep in the drawer beside your bed."

How does he even know you have that? It's mortifying enough that he feels able to punish you but this is a step further than you were expecting.

"No need to be shy about it, honey. I get it. You've got needs. Nothing to be embarrassed about. And if it makes you feel better, I could show you how a real man should touch you. You'll forget that little plastic thing even exists."

Fuck, that's an offer you could only ever have dreamed of. In fact, it's painfully close to what you imagine while you're frantically rolling the vibrator in question over your own clit.

"If you'd rather lose your car keys or your phone, feel free. Choice is yours." Steve sounds awfully nonchalant for someone who's just made a proposal like that but there's no chance you're turning down his offer.

"Option 3." Your voice is barely a squeak and you almost think you've made the wrong decision when Steve raises an eyebrow.

"Good girl. Go get it."

“..what….did y-..” Whumpee blinked hard, staring around the room. Trying to clear..th…to clear the….ffog-? Fog.

“Shhh…” Whumper’s warm hand pulled a squeaking whine from Whumpee’s throat as they pulled them closer. “It’s just some medicine- It’s alright, love…”

Whumpee squirmed, trying to wriggle out of Whumper’s grip and off the couch. “Mmnnnoo-”

“Yes.” Their captor reeled them back in, dragging Whumpee against their chest and wrapping their arms snug around their captive. It’s just to help you sleep, love - I know you’ve been so on edge lately..” 

Whumpee whimpered as Whumper’s nose nuzzled in against the side of their neck. “Don’t fight it.” They pressed a soft kiss to Whumpee’s throat.

Whumpee squirmed, eyes burning as they squeezed shut, twisting away. “Pl-ease d-”

“SHH-” Fingers once gentle bruised in against their arm and waist.

Whumpee locked in place, breath catching and trembling in their lungs. 

Frozen.

“Mm..” Whumper nuzzled a kiss into their hair, grip softening into gentle warmth again. “Better.”

absolutely i can give it my best shot! i’m not the best person to ask for dave stuff because i prefer to write abt people i know alot about and their personality but i hope this is okay!!

getting home from a long shift was one of your favourite parts of the day. because you knew each and every time dave would be there, like he had promised. his party life had slowed by his own choice because he wished to spend his evenings with you.

as you walk through the door, you’re greeted by a half asleep dave, sprawled out on the couch with a beer in hand. he perks up slightly and smiles at you sleepily.

“hey hon, cmere”

you walk over to the couch, dumping your stuff by the door without care. your exhausted self just wanting to feel the warmth of dave’s arms. you climb into the seat next to him about to speak but he sits up slightly, warm hands wrap around your waist and you’re pulled into his lap.

“well hello to you too” your voice soft as you smile at him with a tired smile. your fingers raising to play with the ends of his long hair, feeling over the smooth strands and sighing softly.

“how was work, pretty boy?”

“hmph, bad. it dragged, just wanted to get home and be here with you.”

he smiles at the comment and pulls you in further, pressing your chest against his and hooking his head over your shoulder. nuzzling into your neck and with a chuckle he speaks

“missing me that much, were you sugar?”

“mhm” you mumble quietly, your hands running through his hair, curling the ends with your fingers.

“you’re so cute when you’re sleepy” his hands ran up and down your back comfortingly, you feel your own eyes get heavy as you bury your face into his shoulder.

“bedtime?” he asks, leaning back and kissing your forehead gently. trailing his hand up your side softly. you nod in agreement and he gives you a warm smile.

without any warning he picks you up and carries you up to your bedroom, peppering kisses all over your face as he walked. his long ginger hair tickling at your cheeks. you giggled and protested

“stooop! dave! h-ah!”

“never, not when you look this sweet, my love” he chuckled, you’d reached the bed now and he placed you down gently, climbing in next to you. he offers an arm out to you and you immediately take it, laying on his chest and wrapping around him.

“you’re like a koala, or a sloth, you know when they just wrap around trees for dear life” he jokes, beginning to stroke your hair, massaging at your scalp and running through each and every strand.

your eyes begin to fail you as the warmth from his skin puts you in a daze, the soothing feeling of his hands just making it worse. you manage to grumble out “shut up, idiot”

he laughs heartily, the sound of it relaxing you even more somehow. you loved hearing him laugh, or seeing him smile, knowing he was only ever this soft with you.

“hey don’t diss the koalas, they’re cute. sloths…well not so much they’re kinda scary”

“you’re so strange sometimes dave.” you sigh happily, eyelids finally fluttering shut, your fingers tracing the skin of his arm. he notices that you were on the edge of sleep and cups your cheek with one hand, leaning down and pressing a gentle kiss to your lips before focusing back on your hair.

“i love you too”

“mmm i love you most”
