Damn. I've always loved Passion of the Nerd's thoughts on the Buffy and Angel episodes, but this one really hit home and made me think about things I hadn't before.

I never caught how the Darla/Angel stuff in Angel season 2 was the inverse of his relationship with Buffy. But that makes a whole lot of sense, of course.

Or how Kate was really his mirror in "Reprise." The only mirror Angel hadn't shattered at that point.

Passion of the Nerd also mentions in the video how "there will always be another apocalypse" and "adulthood equals hitting the same beats over and over," and that probably explains why this show is the way it is. And someone then in the comment section said that that made them realize why the series finale had to end the way it did, then.

Idk exactly what went down with Darla in this show (though I do have a vague idea), but I can say they clearly did her wrong.
