I LOVE the fact Miyata is pissed off, the proceeding line about Iwanaga being good at sex, because WHY is he good at sex? Because he's had practice..... So there you are in bed with the guy you have carried in your heart for years, and in comparison to whom you feel lacking (in all ways) and you are loving what he is doing to you and making you feel, but that reminds you - he's experienced....so you're in bed with his previous partners too....

I would be slamming my head into my desk, no, my wall, if it didn't cause brain damage. This went from intended 3rd person to straight-up yelling at a fictional character.

Because how the FUCK is Alya this stupid. Revelation spoilers ahead.

I understood believing in Lila before a certain episode because, you know, everyone is 14 and a really cool girl came and told these really cool stories, but Alya. Alya you complete and utter idiot. Marinette TOLD you she was Ladybug, she has transformed in front of you, you have seen Tikki, YOU KNOW ABOUT HER HATRED FOR LILA. And you think Marinette is in the wrong. You think the girl with no proof of any of her stories is right compared to the girl who IS Ladybug.

Even if she never outright TOLD you, in specific detail, why she hates Lila, no 14-year-old BLOGGER WITH DREAMS TO BE A JOURNALIST would believe Lila as much. We know you have at least two brain cells, use them. Marinette and Ladybug are the same person, Marinette hates Lila for being a liar, and Lila hates Ladybug. Lila has been constantly saying that Marinette is an awful person and a complete bully, EVEN THOUGH YOU KNOW that's not true because you can ask anyone in the class, and they'll tell you Marinette is a good person. EVEN the teacher, who keeps feeding into whatever fantasies Lila has, constantly tells Marinette to "be the good person you always are".

The utter bullshit you pulled with Adrien telling you and Nino that he is also aware of her lying and manipulation is unfathomable. "Aw, you're defending your girlfriend!" HOW ABOUT YOU DEFEND YOUR BEST FRIEND? YOU TAUGHT MARINETTE THAT CHLOE WAS POINTLESS TO HELP IN THE BEGINNING, YOU LITERALLY GOT HER TO STAND UP TO HER. But Lila? No, she can't be a bully, it's just a misunderstanding that she planted a necklace that got her expelled, that she "fell" down the stairs one day and the next she's completely fine, that she GOT MARINETTE EXPELLED THEN WENT BACK ON IT LITERALLY THE NEXT DAY, NO, THE NEXT HOUR.

Every single time Marinette looks for a friend to aid her, you pretend to be open arms only to try and suffocate her into your beliefs. Alya, you are the worst in this show.

like I’m sorry for Tolkien/LotR fans but The Rings of Power show is so freaking good. The costumes, the cast and their acting, the locations!! the sets, the cinematography, the story, the dialogue, again the cinematography!!! The overall feel of excitement, wonder, hope, despite the increasing horror, is absolutely amazing. The power of friendship and kindness, the importance of moral duty, the call of adventure to simple “insignificant” people, and the refusal of it by weary, nihilistic characters. It’s so beautifully epic and wonderful, I love love love it.

As an indigenous latina woman I never cared about the og LotR because it was centered on a bunch of white men, so it never interested me. (Not that there’s anything inherently bad about that, just a matter of personal preference) But TROP looked colorful and varied, and the premise seemed mildly interesting, so I gave it a chance and I’m so glad I did. Best high fantasy show imo.

random thoughts about tell me that you love me, episode five

(the rest is under the cut because i'm worried about your eyes having to read ALL OF THAT and this post might contain spoilers)

I feel like this is becoming a recurring motif in my posts about the drama but I'm in love with the leads. They're both so caring and thoughtful. The fact they're there for each other and are witnessing the other evolve. My heart feels warm. They're one of the best things to happen to this show.

Jin woo focusing on mo eun's acting <3 I'd love it if the drama showed more scenes like the one where he came to support her at the theater. I think he could become an asset to mo eun's acting career because he can't hear so he's only focusing on the facial expressions/body language part of acting. A good actor is someone who can make you feel things even when you don't relate/know what they're talking about. A good actor is someone who doesn't need a lot of words to make you understand what they're feeling. So I can see mo eun showing her acting to jin woo as a rehearsal coach. You know asking him what he felt when he saw her acting, what he thinks she's talking about, etc. That'd be great if the drama gave us some of these moments in the future.

It might not seem like a lot but I'm happy to see the other actors congratulate mo eun on her acting. Knowing how hard she worked and how many rejections she had to go through, I'm relieved to see people believe in her and praise her for her splendid acting

It's so cute how she immediately ran to him after being congratulated by her colleagues. You can see how much she values him and his opinion. Just like he was able to calm her down before she started the play, she wants to ask him for his opinion. The more I watch them together, the more I ship them.

Girl we're not even ten minutes into the episode and I'm on the verge of writing a love letter to the main couple. They are made for each other.

"You're a good listener" because he always tries to focus on each word that comes out of her mouth. He makes efforts to make her feel understood and I think that's beautiful.

"It feels like you're listening to my heart, not my voice" OH COME ON!!! TAKE MY HEART TAKE MY EVERYTHING IF THAT'S WHAT YOU NEED BUT I DON'T NEED TO BE CRYING ON A THURSDAY/FRIDAY NIGHT AT 12 AM

"To me, you're a comfortable person"

The fact that after watching the play, jin woo wished he could hear makes me cry a little bit (ngl)

The whole confrontation with the parents scene... I am torn because I understand both sides.

The parents are worried for her because becoming an actress (and an artist in general) is really hard and only a few manage to make a living out of it. Even less people manage to become super popular and earn lots of money. So yeah, I know the parents want the best for her and don't want her to think about how to make ends meet. However, that doesn't mean it's okay to be so judgemental towards their own daughter. They looked like they were on the verge of disowning her because of her choice of career. The mother saying mo eun is immature for pursuing her dream career, that's rich. I mean your daughter has spent most of her life following what YOU wanted her to do. It's normal for mo eun to be fed up with this and decide to live her life the way she wants. The worst part is when her mother said she'll never make it because she's too old for that career (which is true because as most artistic jobs, your image is a crucial part) but had the nerve to oppose to mo eun when she wanted to study theater and movie (or something like that i don't remember the exact terms) at uni. I'm just disappointed by the parents' reaction but I can understand where they come from.

On mo eun's part, I just can't imagine how she's feeling after all that happened. She wanted to tell them first she decided to become an actress, but unfortunately her role as an extra was shown on tv. She was robbed of telling her parents the truth. Like she said, it wasn't an impulsive decision. She thought long and hard about it and decided to do it in the end. She kept a false front in front of her parents because she's always followed their advice so she was scared of their reaction to the whole actress thing. And she was right. Mo eun is already feeling guilty about her decision. She doesn't want to worry her parents. I feel for her.

What made my blood boil is how the brother sided with the parents. He knew all along but then when the truth was out, he was the first one to drop mo eun and act shocked by her choice of career. I don't know a lot about their relationship but I thought he'd at least try to defend her a little bit. Guess I was wrong. Sigh

Ji yu and mo d am's bickering is one of the most hilarious things ever,

Mo eun's face lighting up when she saw name (jin woo can be funny when he wants to lol naming his cat name). She's just like me.

Ji yu is a great friend. She's happy for mo eun's success, she's worried about her because she knows mo eun has a hard time dating someone. I'm glad ji yu is there for mo eun.

Song seo kyung's arrival. The plot thickens. I can't wait to learn more about the fire and how the situation will be resolved.

Overall this is a great episode, I'm giving this a 9/10

Something about Eliot Spencer

Just found out that Leverage Redemption season 2 is out and it's drawn me right back into my leverage obsession—Eliot Spencer is back!!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!

tbh when I first started watching I really didn't expect to like him much, let alone love him as much as I do. He might've even been the one that I liked least out of the five, after watching the first episode

cuz he was the brawn and I've always loved brains. he was brash, he was angry, he wanted to solve everything with his fists.

yeah his fight scenes were cool, but I was never the type to watch action movies just for the action. The others seemed smarter, cooler; Eliot was just... well, the hitter

But that’s exactly what he wants you to see

he wants people to underestimate him, to ignore him, to forget about him until he has a chance to seize everyone up and take them all out before they can even react. And so he does a good job of .. playing dumb i guess [excellent example of grifter skills]

but of course he is smart. You would have to be in order to plan and take care of every contingency, so no one gets hurt. You would have to be in order to win so many fights against so many people (and make it seem so easy). He is always at a disadvantage (“I don’t like guns”), yet he (almost?) always has the upper hand. As he has demonstrated again and again, he can be calculating, especially when he fights. [Summary: Amazing Tactician] He is brilliant, and he doesn’t even realize—he thinks what he does is normal/simple (“It’s a very distinctive...”). To be able to know and actually utilize that information... thats sherlock holmes. [Inductive Reasoning] He knows he’s not dumb, but I don’t think he knows how smart he is, either

and have I mentioned how much I love it when he lets his intelligence shine through? Like when he offers a solution no one on the team thought of (brain scan, Snow Job) Like when he learns to play professional level baseball super fast (getting good at a sport is really hard, ppl) When he is the first to assess a situation and react appropriately, whether it be a possible threat or the emotional states of his teammates [EQ]

and he is kind. he loves kids (cannot miss those interactions). he wants to do good even though he thinks he is bad. This has become a list of eliot’s amazing traits don’t get me started about the cooking (y’all can imagine how much i loved ep3) so maybe i should stop

I know I probably forgot so much… I should do a rewatch while i agonizingly wait for new episodes. I also know people have done absolutely amazing analyses of Eliot. this is just... a brief declaration of love?

One more episode of The English to go. It is maddening. There are so many interesting characters and before you would know hardly anything about them, they are _dead_. You fill the gaps if you feel like it! I have a feeling that after the last one I have to re-watch the whole thing to find all the little clues and hints and have 'aha' moments. Damn you, Hugo Blick. You have given my tired little brain a work-out.
