Overall I liked getting to explore this aspect of the dynamic between Rick/BP/Squanchy/Gearhead (+ the others of course but they're the OGs yk?) and also the concept of intervention/alcoholism. I think it's interesting to see that Rick does want to help but his support system is so fucked that this ends up happening and it makes a lot of sense when it comes to his own issues. I really like the way they handle Rick trying to get better and do the right thing but struggling so much to break out of unhealthy behaviours/habits. He's painfully aware of how fucked up he is and how much of a bad influence he is but he doesn't know how to fix the issue/be a positive influence and he definitely views abandonment as a good thing because he's removing himself from the situation. Very interesting way to explore this aspect of his issues, especially since all his friends are also alcoholics with that level of denial/refusal to get better

I had this discussion with @hazelnut-u-out before the episode aired but I do like that they're showing Mr PB directly suffering as a result of Rick's actions in canon? Considering that he started as a joke/meta character it's very interesting to show him actually shifting to more of a serious character who appears in the actual show and experiences real issues, especially since the show becomes less and less sitcom-y as Rick becomes more aware of the reality of how fucked up all of these things are.

JokeyxSmooth (Harmony’s Cousin): Aka the worst thing to ever happen. Jokey had a nightmare about this exact situation once. Woke up in a cold sweat and spent the next day being unnervingly sweet to Harmony. The kid’s a {redacted}-head. Pumped on ego and seeing the suffering of others. Does play a sweet bass though.

FarmerxWeaver (Tailor’s Cousin): Picked Weaver because Spinner is Aro-Ace. It’s .. fine? I think Weaver is TOO excitable and Farmer isn’t excitable ENOUGH for each other but it could be worse. I based the kid off Motel Kamzoil because I was kind of left with a sense of anxiety and shyness radiating from him.

DreamyxHunter (Tracker’s Cousin): Did once draw a joke about Dreamy being fascinated by Hunter’s Vitiligo because he thought they looked like clouds (and he liked his accent cause it’s the same as Tracker’s haha) and tbh since Hunter is a chill dude I can’t think of a negative for them. Kid’s a cutie :) Maybe the best case scenario out of the lot of them.

Ooh, so this was a thinker. I could have gone in a few directions, but if we’re taking everything into consideration plus “Vampire Beach Babes”, it’s got to be Vincent Solaire!

First, Vincent is and always will be a total nineties kid at heart, so he would absolutely love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. (Off the top of my head, I think he thinks himself a Miley and had a big crush on Leo as a tween.) He gets super hyped for every addition to the franchise and loves chill nights on the couch watching reruns with you while you draw.

Speaking of drawing, I think Vincent would be such a wonderful boyfriend for an art student.
