3 Simple Ways to Conserve Energy in Dog days in the Summer
Looking to conserve energy in the dog days of summer. Embrace natural light by opening curtains and blinds during the day to let in the sun's rays. Optimize thermostat settings by setting your thermostat a few degrees higher in the summer and a few degrees lower in the winter Seal air leaks around windows and doors to prevent hot air from escaping in the summer and cold air from escaping in the winter. This will help to ensure that your home is well-insulated and energy-efficient. Find out more here: https://greatamericanpower.com

why does the average person fear change as it relates to clean energy, recycling, and conserving our natural resources?
The average person may fear change in relation to clean energy, recycling, and conserving natural resources due to several reasons, including the need for effort and adaptation, lack of understanding, fear of economic hardship, and cynicism. The switch to clean energy sources, increased recycling, and greater conservation efforts may require investment in new technology or changing daily habits, leading to resistance. People may also lack information about the benefits or how to effectively participate. Additionally, there may be concerns about job loss and government regulations, leading to fears about personal freedoms. Some may believe that individual actions won't make a significant impact, leading to skepticism. However, it is important to recognize the critical importance of these efforts to ensure a sustainable future and address climate change. Small steps and education can help address fears and make a positive impact.

yeah I'm an "Ianthe cannibalized the would be 3rd tridentarii triplet in the womb to gain necromancy" truther but why stop there. the eggs you gave me all died. harrow is 200 dead children. the ongoing living death of the 7th house as power.
maybe every necromancer is a result of twins or triplets eaten or sacrifices made. maybe every necromancer comes from death. what did you do, Jod. what did you do

I really hope they can work the bugs out of this solution, because if it's done right, it'll really be a win-win situation. Less evaporation of water, and solar power being generated every day? Yes, please. We are smart, resourceful beings, and this is far from the most difficult problem we've had to address.
This is also a great example of how we can go back and fix mistakes of the past. We very, very rarely ever come up with technological solutions that take long-term effects on the environment into consideration, and so the way many things are designed often leads to some sort of damage, whether through manufacture, use, disposal, or all of the above. Retrofitting canals (which have been used in agriculture for thousands of years) will have benefits not only in the ways mentioned above, but also gets people thinking more about the impacts we make.
I'm hoping that this will lead to more new technology being developed in ways that already anticipate and account for negative impacts so that they avoid them in the first place, rather than having to engineer new solution many years down the line.

does anyone have any lying down setups for drawing/painting/ANYTHING else lol
what I am learning from my imp today is that if I am lying flat I can get my bpm down to 75 but the moment I sit up it goes to 95, and the lowest I can get it while sitting up is 85
I think if I had more activity options while lying down that were not Be On Phone, I would be less bored and therefore do less overexerting myself in order to simply relieve boredom (problem that I have frequently)

In a discovery by researchers from Leiden University in the Netherlands, offshore wind turbines have become a haven for benthos — the community of marine organisms that live in, on or around the seafloor.
There are more soil animals per square meter living in the foundations of offshore wind farms than on the floor of the North Sea, a press release from Leiden University said.
“The turbine foundations provide hard substrate for settlement in areas where these habitats have never been present before. Except for islands, there are now structures spanning the entire range from sea floor to sea surface,” Jan Vanaverbeke, a postdoctoral researcher at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, told EcoWatch in an email. “A lot of organisms, normally living on hard substrates (rocks, bio- or geogenic reefs) have larvae with pelagic stadia, drifting in the water column and trying to find a suitable place to settle and grow into an adult. The turbines provide such substrate in areas where it has never been present before.”
In the area surrounding the wind farms, fishing is not allowed, meaning fish can flourish.
“Banning fisheries from offshore wind farms has positive effects as (1) wind farms provide a safe place for fish (where some species find a lot of food), and (2) the sea floor is not disturbed and therefore long-living animals have a chance to actually live long (they are not impacted/killed by the fishing gear that is passing),” Vanaverbeke told EcoWatch.

Let's go!
We may not be able to control the world around us, but we can control how we choose to impact it. Let's make a commitment to protect our planet, not just for ourselves, but for future generations. Every small action we take, from recycling to conserving energy, makes a difference. Let's work together to create a sustainable future for all.
