Does Leo and/or Kirby ever get self-conscious of their eyes?

Leo originally hated his red eyes. They were a permanent reminder of what (and who) happened to him

By the time he's older, he's used to them. Sure, they still kinda hurt to look at, but it gets a little easier day by day

Plus, he likes having something in common with Kirby

Kirby, on the other hand:

They had no thoughts on their eyes. To them, it was just something normal, like their hands, tail, shell, feet... it was just another body part. Nothing to draw attention to

That is, until they figure out what (WHO) gave them their eyes

And they start to kind of hate how they look. Slowly but surely, everything that made Kirby them they're beginning to hate and get sick of

Then comes puberty...
