Hii! First I wanna say I absolutely LOVE your blog! You are an amazing writer! For the Candy Hearts event I wanted to request lee!Kagaya and ler!Amane with Puppy Love 💚 because there are zero fics with these two and that offends me. If you don't wanna do this one that is perfectly fine 😊. Thank you Squiggly!!!
{Candy Heart Prompts: OFFICIALLY CLOSED!}
Hey anon! :D Aww! Thank you for the kind words! I appreciate it immensely! :3 Oo, Amane and Kagaya! I won't lie to you- I kinda forgot who she was when I first read this, but after looking her up I said "OH THAT'S CUTE-" so here we are! :D I've gotcha covered!
CW: Light angst, spoilers for the Mugan Train arc of Demon Slayer
Puppy Love: "Where are those giggles I love so much?"
Being head of the demon corps was an exhausting and many times heartbreaking job. And yet- Kagaya didn’t break from the pressure. He faced each situation with the stability and calmness it required; ever a beacon of comfort for those around him.
Still- it didn’t mean he himself was immune to the occasional bend.
“You seem sad.” Amane murmured against his chest, tucked in his arms as her husband ran soothing fingers through her loose hair. She didn’t ask why- she was fully aware of the reason.
“So it seems. I hope it didn’t show when I spoke to the others.” He mused, a worry in his voice as he reflected on the remaining Hashira. “Kyojuro went with pride. It’d be disrespectful not to honor him any other way.”
“Yes.” She reached up, running her fingers along the scars spreading down his cheeks. "But that doesn’t mean you can’t mourn him.”
Kagaya’s eyes widened some, then that gentle smile he always wore returned. This time, however- it looks rather sad. “I know. And I do. Still- I think he’d much prefer if I laughed with his memory than cry. He was always doing that; you could hear his chortles all the way from the entrance.”
Amane smiled when he laughed, a soft sound so rare it always left her wondering where those giggles she loved so much hid. Letting her hand drop to his side, she looked up at him with a small grin. “In that case…”
“Hm? What is i-ihihiihihiit!” Kagaya yelped and fell back when her hand prodded at his side, just barely clawing at his ribs through his thin nightwear. “Amahahahhane, whahahahhat-”
“Hm? You just said that you think you should laugh instead of cry for Kyojuro.” She teased gently, bringing both hands up to her husbands sides as she tickled, her entire being warming at the core as he snickered and giggled beneath her. “I’m merely helping you out. Come now- laugh so he’ll be able to hear you.”

AN: Some sweet innocent soul decided to comment on the last Electro Hashira Post inspired by our resident Out of Pocket Anon, and I'm here to make it everyone's problem. /pos Warnings: Mild Spoilers for the Mugan Train Incident. The reader takes inspiration from Ei aka the Electro Hashira from Genshin Impact.
Tumblr media
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗮:
The Electro Hashira had an older sibling that he lost to demons, and following their death he fell into this rather black-and-white frame of thinking, powered by his rage.
In his opinion? All demons were evil, slaughtering and consuming the innocent for often no reason at all. The demon slayers were their just and proper persecutors. A righteous force that did them all mercy. Such atrocities warrant a fate far worse than death, after all.
Even before the existence of the demon slayer corps had come to his attention, M/N had stuck to his vow to do what he could to hunt down and slaughter the being responsible for the death of his sibling, alongside other countless innocents. This hunt led him to witness many atrocities, and he eventually gained an apprenticeship when a demon slayer took note of his prominent inexperience in their line of work.
That is to say, said demon slayer watched as M/N quite literally nearly got himself killed challenging a demon with naught but a rusty handaxe and a kitchen knife (they weren't very successful in their endeavor at first, evidently).
M/N was fairly quick to make a name for himself as a trainee with extreme discipline and determination, going above and beyond to succeed in trials his mentors put him up against. No one form quite seemed to fit him, though, which led to him receiving tutelage from several different practitioners.
He ended up creating a form derivative of thunder breathing (alongside a few others) that felt just right, dubbing it "Electro Breathing". This aggressive and dangerous breathing form (and his stubborn attitude) were what he became known for as he climbed the ranks.
Despite what others might've thought based on how cold and indifferent he seemed, he greatly admired the Hashira as a lower-ranking corps member. They were able to kill upper moons- a feat he could only have dreamt of accomplishing when he started from the bottom. This admiration was hidden by the sometimes harsh critiques he'd give when analyzing their decisions during missions.
He... Well, let's just say that he found some of their techniques a tad too heavy on the flamboyant side. A tad too extra? Yeah, that was an understatement in that aspect.
...
Okay, sometimes he just didn't like their attitudes. Was that a crime?
*cough* *cough* Hypocrite *cough* cough*
Of the Hashira, he got along with Rengoku the most.
That said, he actually respected Shinobu more than his fiery counterpart. Or rather, he respected her sadism.
Something about slowly poisoning a demon to death as opposed to chopping their heads off directly just seemed to speak to him. It was cold- and as he saw it? Well deserved. Needless to say, she was one of the few Hashira he took open criticism from and listened to.
Despite his unseemly attitude, M/N actually took on at least two known Tsugokus in the pursuit of eternity. The eldest is currently missing and presumed dead by the corps, while the youngest is still in his care and just as thick-headed as he is (if not worse). Sometimes he struggles to get her to listen to him. And he's her mentor.
One of the things that disturbs Tanjirou the most about M/N is that he has been known to put an end to those turning into demons without hesitation. It's rumored that he's done it several times, and hasn't flinched once.
He's also someone well-known for putting his subordinates out of their misery when he deems them beyond recovery. M/N justifies this by declaring it an act of mercy- something that people within the corp have mixed feelings over. At least a few of the deceased are those Shinobu would have liked to at least attempt to have treated before he so promptly took their fates into his hands.
He's one of the few Hashira who routinely takes time out of his demon-hunting schedule to mourn those lost in his pursuit of eternity. Who exactly these 'lost' are is subject to much debate. In reality, he's mourning both his subordinates and the innocents caught in the crossfire of their never-ending war. He does his mourning at his mansion, which he has dubbed his "Plane of Euthymia" Post-Mugan Train Incident, at least one of the rooms in his house is dedicated to Rengoku, a shrine there in his name. He visits his younger brother from time to time in order to check in and see how he's doing. The boy's pursuits are beyond his understanding, but he does his best to sit and absorb what Senjuro tells him.
As for his feelings about Nezuko and Tanjiro's situation, he was naturally opposed to the entire thing during its first revelation. You could find him nodding along with Rengoku and pitching his own eloquent complaints about the situation.
The only thing that kept him from intervening (unlike some people) was the Master's will, which he respects above all others. And even then? That was pushing it. A demon? Allowed to live?
Not in his domain, that's for certain.
It was only when Tanjiro began to grow on him during missions that he begrudgingly began to withdraw his opinion, if only because he bore witness to that creature protecting humans.
It's out of what little respect he and the boy have established between each other that he keeps his current Tsugoku as far away from the both of them as physically possible.
Tanjiro has been quoted making note of the fragrance that M/N deliberately wears, and it's so subtle that people thought he was crazy for calling it out in the first place.
The fragrance reminds him of sakura blossoms and (unsurprisingly) wisteria in full bloom, though the former's scent is far more prominent. He has thrown Inosuke through a wall more than once at the Wisteria House. This is canon. I do not make the rules.
....Shinobu was less than pleased.
Tumblr media
If you made it this far, thanks for reading! I had loads of fun. May your day be as pleasant as the ocean's abyss is deep. For those who are new here, I take requests. You can find the rules here.

You looked out the window, looking for your beloveds return from his mission that he'd left for around two days ago now. And it was beginning to worry you, 'what if something happened to him?' you felt the pessimistic thoughts surging through your swirling mind, you didn't know what you'd do if something did happen to him.
You snapped back to reality by the sound of a crow, you looked up at your fiances crow who seemed distressed and upset over something. You felt your heart hit the floor you felt yourself go completely cold, everything seemed like a hazy dream you wanted to wake up but you couldn't.
You inhaled deeply and looked back at the crow and waited for what it's message was to you.
"Hello Mrs. Rengoku, I have some rather unfortunate news. Kyojiro Rengoku is dead."
You felt your knees give in as you hit the floor with a thump which would definitely leave bruises on your knees. You slowly raised your hands towards your mouth afraid if you don't you'd scream, and you really wanted to you wanted to scream until your voice was gone.
You shook violently as you felt your tears rolling down your flushed face onto the floor, softly whimpering you sat there, in denial of it all. It had to be a lie right?
"Tell me this.. IS THIS A CRUEL JOKE. PLEASE"
"I'm so sorry mrs. Rengoku but I'm not lying."
You slowly stood upright still shaking as you nodded and you rushed inside frantic to find senjiro, before you absolutely fell apart.
"S-senjiro?"
You asked peaking into the room seeing the small boy reading with a smile on his face, he looked over to you and tilted his head slightly.
"hey Y/n. You look really upset is something wrong?"
"H-he.. he's gone sen"
"..what?."
"He's dead senjiro. Kyojiro is gone."
you held your arms open for him if he so needed it, he paused as realization set into him he began to cry as he jumped into your arms holding on like his life depended on it. You just sat there for him kneeling down for him and wrapping your arms around him tightly rubbing his upper back comfortingly. Trying to keep yourself together for him.
After a couple hours of crying and hugging you both separated as he looked at the floor you felt your heart tearing into pieces, he looked so broken.
"Y/n, it's ok to cry."
This made your last cord snap as your felt the wave of anger, grief, sorrow, hate bubble up inside you until you started spilling. You let your tears freely fall as your body started shaking senjiro hugged you tightly and rubbed your back like you were doing to him. You clutched onto the young boy and sobbed breaking down. You couldn't handle it.
A few days after the news came to you and senjiro you'd told their father who didn't seem to care at all which really bothered you, you weren't going to say anything until this.
"He was weak to begin with he never stood a chance."
You felt the anger flowing out of you as you spun on your heel grabbed his collar and looked him dead in the eyes and said,
"Shut. Your. Goddamn. Mouth!"
You spat at him no fear was present inside you only anger, you tightened you gr
You felt your eyes watering as you walked briskly out of the front gate and down the street wanting to get away for a moment. You were interrupted by someone walking into you as you hit the ground you looked up and saw a young boy with red eyes and hair with an odd scar on his forehead, he held his hand out for you with a smile but it didn't seem like a happy aile more of a sad one, you thanked him as you brushed yourself off you recognized the uniform he was wearing. He was apart of the corps.
"hello mrs. Rengoku I'm tanjiro kamado I'm apart of the demon Slayer corpse and as you already know you fiance isn't here with us anymore, but he gave me something to give and say to you."
You looked at him processing what he was saying and nodded telling him to come inside and sit, you noticed he was injured. You sat down in the room next to the garden pouring yourself some tea and offering some to tanjiro.
"you said you had something to give to me?"
" yes mrs. Here he told me to give this to you"
The boy handed you the familiar hoari you knew who's it was and it made you almost cry on the spot, you reached for it and took it close to your chest as you put it one, you felt a bit comforted by this you didn't know why.
"And he also told me something to say to your from him before he passed."
"Go on, and my name's Y/n."
Tanjiro went in about how he was in his final moments, also telling you he saved everyone and was brave until the very end.
"His last words were, Y/n my one and only love I will miss you my only wish is that I could kiss you and hold you one last time. I love my little flame."
You began sobbing uncontrollably wrapping yourself tighter in his hoari trying to calm down, Tanjiro stood up and came to your side hugging you which gave you a little comfort.
"Thank you so much Tanjiro"
You looked up at the night sky watching the stars flicker and shine brightly as you took a breath of the cold air you smiled opening your eyes and sighing.
"I love you to Kyo, My wish is to meet you in the next life."

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
The warmth of the fire in front of you was just shy of too much, the sounds and smells of the kitchen adding to the cacophony that was your job.
You’d been practically raised in the little kitchen of your family restaurant, having been tasked with helping as soon as your child self was able to. You spent entire afternoons running back and forth with plates and bowls, becoming good at memorizing faces and orders. You’d learned how to cook from your father, your mother spending her time behind the scenes with the financials.
You were about eleven years old when the Rengokus made their first appearance in your mundane little life. You’d heard of them before. The patriarch had been a hashira, one of the highest ranking demon slayers there was and one in a line of many. Everyone showed the Rengokus the respect they deserved, even if everyone had quietly come to fear the father who had become a belligerent drunk after his pretty wife passed away.
It was starting to become colder outside when Kyojuro and his little brother first wandered into your restaurant. He had money in one hand and a wide smile on his face, his other hand holding that of his brothers.
You found it odd that he was smiling, especially considering his mother passed not too long ago but you didn’t think to question it further. Instead, you watched as he marched up to your father and ordered enough food to feed two grown adults and then some.
Your father had frowned, counted the money and told them to sit. He told you to take over for a moment before disappearing into the backroom your mother used as an office.
The yellow haired boys had sat down at one of the free tables, one you could just about spot from your position in the kitchen. Kyojuro seemed to not be bothered by the stares filled with equal parts confusion and pity. Senjuro on the other hand seemed embarrassed, sinking further into himself as if the weight of the world rested on his shoulders.
In your memory, your mother emerged from the backroom and beelined towards the boys, sitting down at their table. You weren’t sure what she told or asked them but you knew that they took the money back home but left with full bellies anyway.
Later, after you put your baby sister to bed you overheard your parents talk about the Rengoku boys in the empty restaurant. You knew you shouldn’t be listening in like this but your curiosity was simply too great.
“Their father is not to be reasoned with.” you heard your mother say, looking up at your father from where she was seated. Your father ran a hand over his face and let out a world weary sigh.
“I know.” He said. He looked like there was more he wanted to say but he bit his tongue instead.
“Let's just make sure they’re fed. It’s the only thing we can do.” Your mother said, giving your father a stern look. He let out a noncommittal hum.“If our daughters was without care, wouldn’t you want someone to do the same for them?”
Your dad hung his head for a moment and nodded. You decided you’d seen and heard enough, retreating to your room and wondering what exactly went on inside the Rengoku residence. Nothing good, judging by your parents' responses.
You saw Kyojiro and Senjiro a handful of times after that, your father always pulling a face whenever the young boys wandered into the restaurant. After a while, they stopped coming and you worried.
You had turned to your mother to ask if something had happened or if she knew why they were absent but she just shook her head and told you to run an errand for her. A frown appeared on your face at the dismissal but you obeyed your mother and ran out.
It was then that you incidentally got an answer to your question and you saw Kyojuro with the fading bruise of a black eye on his face.
He smiled when he saw you, faltering for a moment when he saw the look of concern on your face plain for all to see.
“What happened?”
The words were out of your mouth before you realized how forward you were being. Kyojuro didn’t seem to mind but avoided looking at you as he gave you an answer.
“Dad found out your family fed me and Senjuro for free. He got mad. Said we weren’t pity cases and could take care of ourselves instead of begging for handouts.” His hand touched the bruises and he winced as if he remembered the blow.
Your bottom lip wobbled at the revelation and you fought the urge to cry over the boy in front of you and his belligerent father. You barely knew Kyojuro, barely having spoken outside of pleasantries and food orders but you couldn’t help it.
“Hey, it's okay!” Rengoku reassured you, his smile still firmly in place. “I’ll come back as soon as I have money of my own and dad can’t tell me what I can and can’t do!”
“Promise?” You found yourself asking. Rengoku nodded.
“Promise! Save me some of that sweet potato dish, okay?”
You nodded and watched as Kyojuro flinched at the distant roar of his name coming from his estate. His smile became a grimace for a moment before he turned and ran back to his house.
That was the last time you spoke to him.
☆☆☆
When you grew into adulthood and your form grew softer aided by an upbringing filled with tasty meals, you took over the shop, your parents taking a measured step back to rest for a while.
It was shortly after the restaurant unofficially became yours that Rengoku entered it again. He was in uniform and donned a flame shaped cape and his usual smile.
The years had been generous to him, his reedy frame filled out and his hair having grown long. His eyes roamed over the place and landed on you, his ever present smile widening and making your heart flutter in your chest.
Once again unbothered by stares leveled in his direction, he crossed the restaurant to where you were.
“Told you I’d return!” He spoke, volume startlingly loud. You later found out his hearing was damaged in his first mission so he had no idea just how loud he was.
“That you did.” you said, a smile creeping onto your own face as you spoke to him.
“I hope you remember my order.” He joked, sitting at the free table closest to the open kitchen. You nodded, still in awe at how much yet how little he’d changed.
It wasn’t like he vanished after your last interaction as children, but the leash his father kept on him and his brother had grown shorter and the Rengokus barely left the estate. Servants were hired and you caught the occasional glimpse of them around town when they were permitted to go out but that scarcely happened.
Last you heard of him, he had joined the demon slayer corps and rapidly climbed up the ranks to fill the seat his family had occupied all these years.
You found yourself chatting with him as you prepared his food, trying to catch up and rebuild a friendship that hadn’t really been a thing to begin with. When his dinner was ready, he grinned widely.
“Perfect! Oh, how I’ve had a craving for your family's cooking.” Kyojuro spoke, digging into the food presented to him. You smiled and opened your mouth to say something back when you were interrupted by the hashira loudly going “Tasty!”
Every time he put a bit of food in his mouth, the same word rang out, making you fight the urge to laugh.
He became a regular after that, often visiting your restaurant and you found yourself chatting with him whenever you could step away for a moment.
Rengoku became a pleasant fixture in your little eatery and patrons often joked about when the wedding would be. You dismissed their joking out of hand, saying there was nothing between you and the eldest Rengoku but friendship.
Some patrons were less nice about it, jeering you were fat so why would he look at you in any other way but platonically. You decided to not give them the light of day and to underseason their food.
And then it actually happened.
Rengoku came into your establishment, a little fidgety and not quite as confident as he usually was. He sat in his usual spot, avoiding looking at you. It made you a little nervous and you got to filling his usual order, the casual chit chat you were used to being replaced with an almost tense silence.
When you put his plate down, he caught your wrist in his warm palm and looked at you in a way you weren’t used to from him. His face flushed red and he mumbled something you couldn’t quite catch. Your confusion must’ve clued him in because he repeated himself in his much too loud volume.
“I want to marry you!”
The restaurant quieted down and to your absolute horror, all eyes turned towards you. You heard a couple regulars laugh, the pair quickly falling quiet when you glared at them.
“Will you? Please?”
Your gaze was drawn back to Kyojuro who had taken your hand in both of his, looking at you with hope in his eyes.
You hesitated for a moment, your stomach in knots and your mind racing. Then once again your words were faster than your brain.
“Yes.”
The restaurant erupted in cheers and a few months later, you were his wife and your things were moved to the Rengoku estate. You kept your little restaurant, still finding joy in what you’d been doing since childhood. Kyojuro’s father had made no secret of his distaste for you still working but you told him off, saying that what happened in your marriage was none of his concern.
Sweet little Senjuro had decided to get involved and diffused the situation by offering to get tea. You and Shinjuro never really got along after that. Not that he seemed particularly fond of you to begin with.
Being married to a hashira wasn’t what you’d expected your life to lead up to but you enjoyed your marriage.
Rengoku was a thoughtful husband, doting on you and taking a lot of interest in everything you did. You found it beyond flattering and he made you feel special in a way you didn’t think possible.
You never thought marriage would be so sweet, even if his absences would fill you with anxiety.
He’d left about two weeks ago this time, told you there was a demon terrorizing a train or something. He never quite went into detail but you could sense something about him that put you off. His smile was ever present but you knew him well enough to spot the signs of worry on him.
The anxiety didn’t lessen as he prepared to leave. You packed him a bento with all his favorite foods and saw him off a few days later, wishing him well. He’d kissed you sweetly and told you he’d be back home as soon as he could.
In his absence, you threw yourself into your work to keep your mind occupied. You found a pleasant rhythm in bustling around the kitchen, carrying out food all the locals seemed to enjoy.
The sounds of the kitchen were almost like music to you. And currently it was so all consuming you almost missed the door to your little eatery opening and your younger sister dashing in. Her hair was windswept and her breath came in stunted puffs as she weaved through tables and customers to get to you. Her urgency turned heads and raised concerns.
She called your name, stopping a few feet shy from you, chest heaving as if she’d just ran a marathon. The basket of produce you sent her to get fell ungracefully to the floor.
“Yuki?” Was all you got out before she interrupted you.
“Rengoku- he’s home! He’s really hurt-“
You almost dropped the spatula you were holding, barely able to keep your thoughts from racing to the worst conclusion first.
“How hurt?”
Yuki decided, in her twelve year old wisdom, to take that moment to catch her breath. You put down your utensil and grabbed her by the shoulders, anxiety hitting you hard and fast.
“Yuki, please, how hurt is he?”
“Left eye was covered.” She said, giving you a half hearted glare. “And his arm was in a sling. He was also limping.”
You let out a noise of shock, mumbling a prayer under your breath as you leaned against the counter to keep yourself upright. That your husband’s profession was a dangerous one you were intimately familiar with but hearing he was hurt never ceased to make your chest feel tight.
“Go get dad to cover for a bit. I need to go.” You untied your apron and tossed it down onto the floor, hurrying out of the restaurant before Yuki could even respond. As fast as your legs could carry you, you ran towards the train station where Rengoku would be. And sure enough, there he stood, leaning heavily on a crutch, one arm in a sling and his left eye covered in a bangade. He was talking to some members of the demon slayer corps, surprisingly casual despite the perceived severity of his injuries. You called out his name and he turned towards you, smiling in a way that was sadder than you were used to.
You slung your arms around his battered form and started crying, pressing your face into his chest. His free arm came up to wrap around you. You were vaguely aware of the corps members excusing themselves and leaving the pair of you to your devices.
It took you a few moments of crying before you peeled yourself off of Kyojuro long enough to ask:
“What happened?”
“Upper moon.” Was all he said. “He ran before I could put him out of commission but not before he,...”
“Your eye?”
“Blind.”
“And your arm?”
“Just broken. Same with my leg. Nothing rest won’t fix.”
You flung yourself at him again and Rengoku let out a pained noise.
“Also have two broken ribs, darling.” He added, voice strained. You immediately let go of him and apologized profusely. He merely laughed and pressed a kiss against your cheek.
Offering your battered husband support, you slowly made your way to the estate, a silence lingering. You wanted to ask him more questions, both curious and horrified by the state he returned to you in.
It wasn’t uncommon for demon slayers to be severely hurt or to just not return at all but it was the first time Kyojuro had returned looking as beat up as he was. A feeling of dread washed over you as you heard the barely suppressed noises of pain coming from your husband.
The next few weeks you spent looking after Rengoku as he healed and getting into arguments with his far too opinionated father. Your husband had often told you off from bickering with his father but his misplaced anger was too much for you not to open your mouth and say something.
It was a quiet evening when you settled in next to your husband in bed, his arm and leg almost healed. You still avoided leaning into him as much as you could, dreading the thought of causing him any further harm.
Rengoku had a look on his face, one that gave away what he had been thinking. He was a smart man and most of his choices seemed impulsive but in reality weren’t. He didn’t make a choice without careful consideration and this time he gave away the premeditation that went into the words coming out of his mouth.
“I’m retiring as a hashira.”
“What?”
Rengoku turned on his side so he faced you, his face uncharacteristically serious still.
“I’m not fit to be a hashira anymore. I’m stepping down.”
“Are you sure?” You asked and his face softened a little, his hand cupping your cheek.
“Darling,” his voice was softer. “I’m in no shape to fight anymore. All I can do is help the new generation to learn how to fight. And I know you worry. I know you’re scared every time I leave. And I don’t want that for you anymore.”
You refused to let him see you cry, digging your face into his chest again. He petted your head, just holding you for a bit.
“Maybe you can teach me how to cook.” He joked, trying to be more light hearted. “I can help you in the restaurant when I’m not needed by the corps.”
You snorted, looking at your husband.
“Knowing you, you’d eat everything before it was sent to the right tables.”
“I can’t help it. My wife’s cooking is simply too tasty.” He said, pressing a chaste kiss on your mouth. You chased him as he pulled away, kissing him again.
“I would like it if you stayed with me.” You admitted. “To not have to worry about you so much.”
Another kiss.
“I know. I don’t want that either.” Rengoku admitted, pulling you just a little closer to him. “I took pride in doing my duty. In doing what my family has for generations. But for now,” With a surprising amount of strength for someone who’d been bedridden for weeks he pushed you onto your back. “You’re what’s most important to me.”
He kissed you again, harder, needier. You kissed him back, arms wrapping around his shoulders and holding him as close to you as he could physically be. You were tired of letting him go and not knowing if he’d ever come back.
His kisses grew intenser, his tongue parting your lips and finding yours. His uninjured hand wandered, grabbing greedy handfuls of your chest, your hips, your thighs.
Once, at the start of your engagement, you’d asked him if your weight bothered him but he’d shaken his head, and in a good natured attempt at flattery he told you:
“Goes to show you’re a good chef and enjoy your own food!”
He never seemed to be able to get enough of how soft you were, and the feeling of his fingers sinking into the plushness of your body. He let you know every chance he was able to.
“Wanna taste you. I have a craving for you.” He mumbled as he broke the kiss, his hand trailing to between your thighs. He grinned, feeling how wet his kisses had made you.
“Oh, look at that.” He withdrew his hand, his fingertips glossy with the evidence of your arousal. He brought his fingers to his mouth, making a show of licking them clean. His working eye never strayed from yours and for a moment it was almost too much.
“So sweet. So good. Want more.” he spoke, sounding like he needed you something fierce.
You whined and Rengoku wasted little time sliding down your body, pressing greedy kisses wherever he could. He hiked one of your legs over his shoulder, pressing soft kisses along the inside of your thigh.
“Love this so much.” He mumbled, eye straying from your face to your cunt, pretty and on display for him.
“Of all your lovely cooking, this has to be my favorite meal.” He said, grinning like the cat who got the canary. You groaned at his compliment, bucking your hips towards him.
“Kyojuro, please.”
“Please what?” he asked, suddenly playing dumb. You swallowed your rising frustration, giving him a half hearted glare.
“Your mouth, please.” The words leaving your mouth trailed out into a whine, bucking your hips again to get your point across. Kyojuro chuckled, a sound that made your breath hitch.
“Don’t mind if I do.”
His tongue parted your folds, lightly brushing over your clit. He repeated the motion a few times, kitten licking at the bundle of nerves.
“So tasty. Like a delicacy.” He mumbled before pressing in a little further. His tongue flicked back and forth over your clit in a way that made your back arch. His lips wrapped around the little nub and started sucking and you let out a noise that seemed to encourage your husband.
His motions became a little more frantic, as if he’d been starving before he put his mouth on you. He kept mumbling something against your pussy as he licked and sucked and it took you a moment to catch onto what exactly he was saying.
“Tasty.”
You whined as it clicked in your head, pleasure steadily rising in the pit of your abdomen. Rengoku’s eye locked with yours again and the intensity of his stare just made everything almost overwhelming.
“Want you to cum on my tongue.” Rengoku spoke, a dominance in his tone that was new coming from him. “Need it.”
You let out a moan as his efforts double, tongue briefly dipping into you as if he wanted to taste more of you. His mouth pressed against you a little harder, his arm wrapping around your thigh and squeezing as if he was trying to pull you in closer.
“Kyo- I’m going to-” You warned him, pleasure reaching it high. He seemed undeterred, keeping up with what he was doing. Noises left your mouth that you were sure everyone in the estate could hear, cresting the threshold and plummeting into your orgasm.
Rengoku didn’t stop, licking you through your orgasm.
“Again.” He growled. “Need more.”
“Kyojuro-”
“No. More. Want you to get used to this.” He broke away from you for just a moment to let you catch your breath. “Because now that I’m retiring, I want to do this to you. Every day. Want you to feel good. Want to taste you as much as I’ve tasted your cooking.”
You writhed under him, your lust addled brain unable to form a response before he dove back in. In reality, you should’ve scolded him. Told him to stop and mind his injuries. But you didn’t, and Rengoku got what he wanted.
“Tasty.”

My Review of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train & Entertainment District Arc
Tumblr media
Season One Thoughts Here
Demon Slayer or Kimetsu no Yaiba has been a phenomenal hit over the last couple of years. The anime was a success, the manga has sold more copies than any other manga (before Jujuitsu Kaisen came along), and their movie is now the highest grossing animated movie of all fucking time. That’s right, this beat out Your Name and Spirited Away. Maybe now ufotable can pay those back taxes!
Tumblr media
Yes indeed, I did go see Demon Slayer on the big screen. And yes, it came with a lot of doubt. Not about the movie or anything, hell no, I knew it was going to kick ass! Because Covid is still a thing and I’m a paranoid fuck, I was worried about big crowds. I’ve managed to not catch Covid at all and I didn’t want my first visit to the movies since 2019 to go wrong. Luckily for me, there were only five other people in the theater. Woo-hoo! After watching this movie, I wondered to myself if this would have done better as a television series or if the movie format was the best call. Because of the animation, it had to be seen on the big screen. It just does. But some of the story I felt could have done better as a television series. Especially after escaping the train and Rengoku goes up against a really scary foe. Movie or television? Movie or television?
So ufotable says, why not have both?
And thus, we get the seven episode tale of Mugen Train! Six with everything we saw in the movie and one episode at the beginning with Rengoku. Yes, remind all of us how awesome Rengoku is before the story goes any further and…well, you know…
Now in no way is this going to be a replacement for the movie. Hell no! That movie made some serious cash in the box office. There are scenes cut from the television series. Come on, you know it wasn’t going to give you everything you wanted. Each episode is roughly 23 minutes and 40 seconds, minus three minutes for the LiSA opening and ending themes and minus up to 2 minutes for the preview at the end of the episode. Some moments ended up on the chopping block.
LICENSING: If you would like to watch the Mugen Train movie in the theaters, I’m afraid you are shit outta luck. It’s been out of theaters since at least June of 2021 up in the states. But FUNimation and Crunchyroll were nice enough to offer the movie in several languages available to watch. But the big screen experience is gone forever for you. This is Aniplex’s biggest cash cow and everyone else pretty much piggy-backs off this.
NEW CHARACTERS INTRODUCED: With these two sagas, we get to learn a little bit more about two Hashiras. Rengoku and Uzui were both introduced near the end of the first season. It’s just that up to that point we only saw one Hashira. And as for the demons, they’re getting even stronger than what you saw in the first season. Muzan is onto these demon slayers and is prepping his finest.
Tumblr media
So as I said before Rengoku and Uzui are both Hashiras. Rengoku was a flame breather and pretty much a legacy since his father was once a Hashira. Rengoku has that brave demeanor and healthy appetite to take down nearly any demon. As for Uzui, he’s sort of a flashy ninja and slayer with enough love to give. This is my cheap way of avoiding spoilers.
Tumblr media
Now for the antagonists! Enmu and Akaza are part of Muzan’s Twelve Demon Moons faction. At the beginning of Mugan Train, everyone thought that Enmu was the main villain. But what we didn’t realize was that Enmu is a lower-rank demon and that the main event was really the upper ranked Akaza.
Tumblr media
Gyuutaro and Daki are brother and sister when they were alive and when they were demons. Daki was in the red light district being behind all the mysterious disappearances of women and mysterious deaths that occurred. As for Gyuutaro, he doesn’t appear until Daki’s life was truly on the line and he comes after the demon slayers for attempting to slice off his sister’s head. Here’s what you might recognize these folks from.

Tumblr media
DESPITE THE DRAMA…: I would just like to say, thank God for LiSA. I know her home life isn’t going well recently and the Japanese tabloids are all up in her business when they should stay the fuck out of it. I’m grateful to hear her voice even during this difficult time. Now I’m unsure if LiSA recorded the songs Shirogane and Akeboshi prior to all the tabloids hitting her up. Chances are, yes! And that would explain the lack of LiSA songs for the Entertainment District arc. But I can’t complain because I also like Aimer’s music.
STRANGEST CHARACTER INTRODUCED YET: Ahem…
Tumblr media
Muscle Mice.
What the flying fart-fig-newton am I watching?
I AM LEGIT, SCARED OF THIS CHARACTER: A little backstory to this. When I went to watch Mugen Train in the theater and saw the scene where Tanjiro throws his sword at Akaza, I started to speak up.
“Fool, the fuck are you doing? You better get that shit back before sword guy kills your ass.”
And all through the end of the feature I’m like, “Does he get his sword back or not”! My questions are answered in the first episode of the Entertainment arc. And my fear rose exponentially. I remember season one when Tanjiro’s sword got damaged. And now that his sword is missing, this is a real pant-crapper.
Tumblr media
Hotaru Haganezuka is terrifying!
Tumblr media
MUGEN TRAIN: As you recall in the final episode of season one, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke hop on a train and well, that would be the Mugen Train! But this night trip on the train is when the demons come out. Enmu (the demon you might recall from the final episode of season one) is controlling everything in and around the train. Then we have the underlings who are to keep everyone asleep as Enmu devours everyone in the train. Thankfully, everyone was able to snap out of their dreams. Though Tanjiro definitely went through the worst of it all in the dream department! The guilt dreams involving his dead siblings were bad enough, but then you get the continuous slicing Tanjiro’s throat scene just to wake up from the dream. For me, that particular scene stuck with me long after viewing. Anyways, Tanjiro and Inosuke were able to slice through Enmu and put an end to the train nightmare. End of story, right? OH HELL NO!
Tumblr media
Unfortunately for our heroes, Enmu (despite being very cunning and strong) is only a lower-ranked demon. Tanjiro and Inosuke had one hell of a time trying to find and defeat Enmu without falling asleep and within enough time before his stupid body regenerates. So imagine when a high-ranking demon (Akaza) comes in and takes down everyone’s favorite fire-headed hashira. Even Inosuke is like, “Fuck this shit! I know I’m looney and would fly off the handle to slice someone’s head off, but I ain’t messin’ with this crazy fucker”.
Tumblr media
Rengoku fights all the way to the end. When sunrise arrived, Akaza fled the scene and Rengoku dies giving his final words to Tanjiro and Inosuke. Rengoku died a hero as he saved an entire train of people without any other fatality.
Tumblr media
ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT: Children, welcome to the Red-Light District! I’m sure it won’t be as raunchy as when I went to Amsterdam. Good times!
It’s been a couple of months since Rengoku’s death. Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu were able to get through another round of physical therapy. Tanjiro was able to visit Rengoku’s family (with mixed results from the ordeal). Tanjiro almost died because he left his sword inside Akaza during that altercation. I said it in the theater, get your sword back, bro. That sword maker is fucking looney and will fucking kill you. What’s next for Tanjiro? Helping the hashira Tengen Uzui so he doesn’t kidnap any of the ladies in the village for his mission! Young boys in the red light district! Apparently, Uzui’s three wives have gone missing from the district and needs help finding them.
Tumblr media
Three wives?! Bruh!
Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke must go undercover (i.e. dress in drag) in the Red Light District to see if a demon is up to no good. Will the boys find Uzui’s three wives? Are all the missing women in the area dead or alive? How many seconds until Inosuke blows his cover as a woman?
Tumblr media
*snorts* That last question, yeah, he totally blew his cover. But he was onto something so I’ll give the screaming idiot a pass.
SHOWDOWN TIME: Demon Slayer hits a home run every time a big sword fight goes down. Episode 19 of season one and Rengoku vs. Akaza were both fantastic and gave the Demon Slayer fandom an explosion of new and returning fans. But we fans couldn’t prepare ourselves for what was in store for what was to go down in the Red Light District…except of course for the manga readers.
Tumblr media
Once it was discovered who exactly was causing the mysterious disappearances and deaths around the Entertainment District, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke were hot on the trail. Inosuke was able to sniff out two of Uzui’s wives that went missing. A courtesan from Zenitsu’s hiding place was found to be one of Muzan’s demons. And in a several episode long battle, Tanjiro is put to the test as he has been sent to the brink so many times throughout this long span. The fact that he even had an ounce of oxygen left in his body by episode 10 amazes the hell out of me. How are you not dead, yet?
Tumblr media
Daki, the demon who posed as a courtesan put up one hell of a fight against all the boys and even Nezuko. Nezuko went straight-up, full-savage demon on her ass! And Uzui came in for the kill and sliced her head off. End of story right? OH HELL NO! Turns out that Daki comes in a two-for-one package and has an older brother who is also a demon! Gyuutaro turned out to be a bit more challenging to take out. He revives his decapitated sister, poisons and slices off one of the arms of Uzui, traps Zenitsu under burning rubble, nearly kills Inosuke, and gives Tanjiro the worst time trying to kill him. This demon pushed everyone to their breaking point and even way past that. Uzui, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Tanjiro should all be dead by now. But they’re not! Blame the years of training, I suppose.
Tumblr media
But in episode 10, these four boys were able to do the impossible. They defied death and went beyond. Tanjiro pushed his body to discover more hidden flames. Zenitsu (who has been asleep this entire time) out-runs Daki and Inosuke survives near-fatal wounds to take the bitch out. And Uzui is missing an arm and still came back to take out Gyuutaro with Tanjiro. Not today, bitch! I ain’t going out like Rengoku. So Daki and Gyuutaro are beheaded now. End of tale, right? OH FUCK NAW! Gyuutaro got a last word in and a massive explosion occurred after the decapitation leaving the entire area in total destruction.
Tumblr media
It’s amazing that everyone wound up alive after this whole ordeal.
I know, I seriously thought Inosuke and Uzui were going to die then and there! We can thank Nezuko once again for saving the day. Apparently she can dispel Gyuutaro’s poison so she was able to save Tanjiro, Uzui, and Inosuke from that kind of death. And Uzui (who is now without one arm and one eye) is to retire from being a Hashira. Who will take his place? Matter of fact, who’s going to take the place of Rengoku? Not for us to know right now. We’ve got a tragic backstory to look at!
Tumblr media
One thing Demon Slayer packed a punch in is telling sympathetic backstories about the demons that cause mass chaos among the world of the living. And this one was no exception! Tanjiro was especially affected by killing these two due to the fact that they are both brother and sister. So it hits a little too close to home. Gyuutaro indeed grew up in squalor and was beaten mercilessly by his parent and the townspeople in the district. But he loved his sister and would do anything to protect her. So in their lowest moment when both were at near death, an upper-rank demon of Muzan’s named Douma (VOICED BY MAMORU MIYANO) came to them with the offer of becoming a demon.
Now that Gyuutaro and Daki are dead and their bodies have disintegrated, it’s time for them to rest in the afterlife. Daki looked like she had a chance of going to Heaven, but chose instead to go with her brother to Hell. Okay, time for everyone to go back to the village and get some major physical therapy. With those injuries, they’re probably going to be out of commission for at least 18 months. That should give ufotable time to dish out the next arc to this story. And wouldn’t you know it, it’s in production!
Holy shit, Demon Slayer has done it again! They have done it again with animation, music, and story. I never thought anything could top what was seen in season one, especially with the beauty of episode 19. But hot-damn, the movie and episode 10 of the Entertainment arc came really close. Screw the Academy Awards for not even giving this a chance. This was better than at least 60% of the stuff that was nominated in its place.
Tumblr media
Mugen Train, I still find myself going back and forth between this being a movie or a television season. Okay, here’s my stupid-ass two cents on the matter. I think the end result of what should have happened was Mugen Train should have been a televisions series (but not like the TV recap we got in October 2021). And if Aniplex wanted to capitalize on this, they could have put the episodes in theaters later down the line for an IMAX experience. I mean Yuri on Ice did that years ago after the series ended. But what we got was awesome. It’s just that I felt a little weird seeing all the events occurring on the train only for the main fight to come from nowhere once the train was overturned. At least that’s how it felt to me. The Akaza fight felt like it came out of nowhere. Regardless of my thoughts on that matter, Mugen Train was great in both movie and television form. Though I felt the television version really cut out some key details, especially involving characters like Rengoku and the four humans Enmu was using.
Tumblr media
As for the Entertainment District, I’ve heard from some of my workmates who are hip to the manga say it felt a little fast to them. I can’t really say that on my part as I thought it was perfect. If anyone would like to elaborate if the anime skimped on some key details, I’d like to hear about it. This season had no shortage in the fight department. In fact, it felt like a lot more fighting than in the previous season. Keeping in mind that a good chunk of season one was dedicated to Tanjiro’s training, this one got right down to the meaty chunks against Daki and her brother. And the animation keeps improving from season to season and from episode to episode. The Entertainment District arc really kept me on the edge of my seat as I had no idea what was to happen next. I was a little put off when I saw that there were no major character casualties. I understand Nezuko is special and can dispel poison and all that, but that major explosion at the end of episode 10 looked like there was no hope for anyone. Somebody should have been caught up in that mess and not come back (besides the demons). But don’t listen to my ramblings, this shit was tight!
Not sure when the next arc to Demon Slayer is to air. Probably 2023 or somewhere in that range! In the meantime if you haven’t watched Demon Slayer, now is probably the best time to catch up before the new seasons come forth. You will not be disappointed.
Crunchyroll pretty much has everything you need for Demon Slayer including the first season, Mugen Train (both in movie and television form), and Entertainment arc. Add to that, everything has several dubs available including English. FUNimation’s website should also have the same if it hasn’t dried up. Toonami probably has the English dub to the first season available as well. Netflix too (probably)!

i'm done. i finished it. or rather it finished me. 💀
I LOVE IT SO MUCH- sorry haikyuu, you've been officially replaced, demon slayer is my nr 1 now 😭❤️❤️
just. idk i'm screaming- THAT WAS SO HYPE. HOW WAS THAT SO FUCKING HYPE. AND SO GODDAMN BEAUTIFUL BUT ALSO LIKE DEVASTATING AT THE SAME TIME-
there was sososo much i loved but one thing: i had been spoilered about most deaths (except for one that you uh. might be able to deduct from the other ask i sent you.) and that sucked ofc but i didn't know any details so i was still surprised by some of the circumstances. and i didn't expect those circumstances to be so calm in some cases, i'm sure you know who i'm talking about, and that really. idk that really made my day somehow
i'm sorry i still need to cope rn, gotta go write fanfiction and make this my entire personality for the next few weeks 😭
JLERJEJRJEJ LETS GOOOO!!! It was truly incredible, wasn't it? :D
More spoilery talks beneath the cut for Demon Slayer Manga
NO FOR REALLL!!! I had been more or less spoiled for a few deaths- I knew about Obanai and Mitsuri (Don't even get me started on their ending, I will wail-) And that's true! Like- it's one thing to know the deaths, but to see the actual way they go + the freaking post death reunions with family and friends alongside the way characters like Kanao and Sanemi react to the loss of their loved ones-
I just- OW.
And absolutely! It's probably the whole "We're Hashria so we expect to die." Kinda energy like Gyomei told Koku when they fought- no fear, only acceptance and- in Shinobu's case- satisfying vengeance.
God, I just love the woman of Demon Slayer. I love the characters, period. I'm gonna go reread it now- brb!
jljelarejrjarjajkjr NAH SAME!!! That was me after Mugan Train just: "Oh ouch, ouchie- I'm gonna go write him and Tengen causing mayhem akerjkakerjarej"
KERKJEJLRJEJR HELP THAT'S A MOOD RJLJKERJEJRJE Oh god, I love you so much, Rey! 🤣 Write that fanfiction and THRIVE!

I saw Demon Slayer Mugan Train earlier...and I loved it! Some might remember back when the world was...less crazy, I used to do these mini reviews. Now cinemas are back I'm changing how I do things, instead of using the movie poster (something Instagram hates) I'm going to do a quick sketch of me IN the poster with a view to help improve by doing things I'm not comfortable with (so please excuse the level of quality) And going forward these won't really be reviews, more just my impressions (I'm not a movie reviewer, I'm just someone that likes movies) Anyway Demon Slayer is so SO beautiful to look at. Ufotable are the masters of their craft with action scenes, and this has some great ones. It also has a decent amount of character work going on (I'm guessing because this is from the source material rather then other movie tie ins that are just made outside of that) but the final third really ramps things up. No spoilers but they do a great job of highlighting just how powerful and dangerous the upper demons are, our heroes are no where near ready for whats to come. If your into DS or animation I highly recommend! #demonslayer #demonslayermovie #demonslayermugentrain #movie #fanart #animeart #anime #hayseydraws https://www.instagram.com/p/CPYz92xB5X0/?utm_medium=tumblr
