So when I was doing my Dragon Con lineup graphic earlier this week it briefly, accidentally, gloriously looked like this and cracked me up, and so this happened in the hotel room
I'm in full con crunch mode, but I decided I needed to finally join the Destiny shoot this year at DragonCon, so I've been crafting as fast as my fingers and work schedule allow the last few days to get this done!
Tonight I have a TON of painting to do and a little bit more sewing before I pack all this up and fly to Atlanta EARLY Wednesday morning!
She's a warlock bb!
P.S. amazing 3D print of Risk Runner thanks to Designed by 3D!
But you don't get to say anything about my armor skills because this was my first time working with foam & worbla. I'll get better, but this was "get it done" mode.

At MCM London a couple weeks ago, Zig, LG, Lawn, and I did a BBC Merlin-adjacent (our own versions for our new tabletop game) cosplay. I embroidered three Camelot crests using YouTube videos for stitching guidance. Pictured is the prototype on the orange poplin and then the finished results. A Merlin cosplayer clocked the badge I was wearing on my bodice and we stopped to chat.
It was dope and I’m pleased as punch that these turned out SO WELL, especially for my first freehand embroidery project.
I never posted my completely finished Shepard armour here! I’ll share some photos as I get them, but I’m really proud whenever I see this cosplay in motion because I fuckin made that shit and it’s comfortable to wear and it moves perfectly holy shit I actually did it so here is a video!
I almost gave up several times but l’m glad I pushed through - I’m so grateful for the response to all this hard work both at Dragon Con and from everyone who followed along with this build online. I have a highlight on my insta stories (@ mockingnerd) that shows the progress as it went, and made a bunch of videos on TT @ livelaughlongsword.
