Hello! A phan from Spain here! I love the poto mediterranean tag! As far as I know, as Antonio Banderas said in an interview during the Madrid premiere, this production was originally conceived by "Amigos para Siempre" (a company that Andrew Lloyd Webber and Antonio Banderas created to bring ALW musicals to Spanish-speaking countries). They have started with POTO, and after Madrid, they want to take this production to Spanish-speaking countries and to Broadway!! again, in Spanish, for the more than 70 million Hispanics living in the US. Also, as the director is Italian, they decided to take the production to Italy as well, with the idea of doing a tour, in Italian with italian actors, in the next few years.

I haven't heard anyone in the fandom talking about this info which I find very interesting! So, I don't know if this production will eventually reach other countries in Europe.

I really loved the movie Robot Dreams and I've seen it twice now, but there is something extremely jarring about the number of shots where the twin towers are prominently featured in the background, especially since the film seems to have nothing to do with 9/11 sjdjjdjf
