meet pickles, the Awakened Pitbull artificer

he's a Very Good Boy whose owner is also an artificer and helped him build his arms/harness. pickles has a sister named olive who is not awakened. he left home to travel the world and try all the people food he can get away with and maybe to unlock the secret of why some dogs have been awakening in the world he lives in and not others. specifically, he wants to know why he was awakened but olive isn't!

he has a special ability where he can make a homunculus fairy thing fly around, and he named it barry because barry the fairy is funny. barry the fairy is an mvp and has helped the party in numerous ways. pickles serves as the healer of the group and likes to run headlong into danger so other dogs don't get hurt.
