"First one to reach the pool gets a kiss from me!" You announce with a grin. With a childish smirk, Eddie and Gareth start sprinting towards the pool.

"You totally know that even if we tried Eddie would still win" Kevin rolls his eyes.

"I don't know what you are talking about" you shrug, feigning ignorance.

"Also you're gonna kiss both of them anyway" Jeff points out as you hear a big splash.

"What? Can't hear ya, sorry. I have to go sort some things out" you walk to the pool, where Eddie and Gareth are arguing over who jumped first.

Your friends are both right though but it's still fun.

I like to think that Eddie can pass out wherever and whenever he wants, but Gareth not so much, quite the opposite honestly.

When gareth cant fall asleep he’ll watch Eddie sleep until he feels like he can finally pass out, he has to fight the urge to kiss his boyfriend over and over to not wake him, but instead will kiss his arms, play with the ends of his hair, trace up and down his side, ect. When he’s feeling real lovestruck he whispers to Eddie how beautiful and peaceful he looks, and in return Eddie always makes happy murmurs and nuzzles harder into Gareth, which makes him so flustered that he just burrows his face in Eddie’s side and finally forces himself to get some rest.

“Guess what?” Eddie says, bursting into Gareth’s room without knocking (or calling) first -- he figures what he’s about to tell the guy is worth it. Besides, they’re closer than that, right?

He looks excited, feels it like electricity down to the tips of his toes, the ends of his fingers, and he’s bouncing around Gareth’s room like he’s full of it, too. “Someone from Chicago saw our last show and asked if we wanted to open up for another band this weekend.” The brightness of his smile is reflected in his eyes, his body animated and loose -- it doesn’t matter if it’s a local band to Chicago, that’s still better than playing in and around Hawkins to little enthusiasm. “I came right over here after they called.”

Hopper accidentally becomes the biggest ally in Hawkins out of hatred for Mike Wheeler. El wants to date Max? Perfect, Mike is terrified of Max. El wants to date Max and Lucas? Even better, more people to keep Mike away. Will comes out to Joyce and Hop? Hopper is immediately studying up on gay culture and flagging so he can find him a Hop ApprovedTM boyfriend. He sees that nice boy Gareth cuff his jeans one time and starts inviting him to family dinner. Mike seems annoyed that Steve is spending more time with Munson? A pamphlet titled “Accepting your Bisexuality” finds its way into Steve’s jacket pocket. Hopper has never seen Mike as furious as the day Steve and Munson arrive at dinner holding hands. It’s a good day. Hopper isn’t sure how Nancy dating the Buckley girl will annoy Mike, but he’s willing to give it a shot.

Interviewer Steve Harrington who gets decked in the face by a particularly drunk and rude person halfway through an event, and can’t fight back because it could ruin the company name or whatever, but he still needs to meet his quota, so he's walking around face still bleeding and talking to people.

Then he meets Corroded Coffin and he has to make it an extended interview cause his Co-Worker Dustin adores them. The bleeding has mostly stopped by then, but the guy from earlier bumps into his back and glares at him.

And how hasn’t he been kicked out yet, Eddie thinks he’ll definitely try something again if Steve goes out on his own and the camera man can’t stop him, so he says fuck it and Steve sits with them for the rest of the event, with the Coffin guys as his body gaurds

Which works because everyone thinks they’re intimidating and ‘scary’, but in reality none of them know how to throw a punch and they’re relying on the facade.

Steve’s nose starts bleeding again at some point during the dinner portion, and Eddie is quick to grab the napkin out of his breast coat and dab it up.

Steve probably says something like, “You do this for all the girls?” And Gareth is all to happy to explain how he doesn’t, and how on their last tour Eddie fainted from Grant hitting himself with a drumstick and getting a nosebleed.

And Eddie really wishes he could smack him except the blood keeps coming and he needs to focus on cleaning it and staying awake.
