oh this took me by surprise! hmm

3 Physical Nice Things:

• I’m loving how my hair is growing out, long and wavy, cascading softly down my hips

• My skin is looking better 🥺 genetics hasn’t been too kind for my skin, but fortunately, dermatologists exist! They’re such a blesisng tbh

• My BMI is still Normal thank god!

3 Non-Physical Things:

• I always ALWAYS do my best in everything. Sometimes it’s a curse, sometimes a blessing.

• I like thinking outside the box and seeing themes and patterns on stuff. I tend to think a lot about philosophy (even though it isn’t my major), like the missing link between someone’s soul and body. I wonder about a lot of things, even the most random of thoughts. Most of them pop up whenever I’m at the shower room LOL.

• I looooove listening to people. It’s safe to say that I’m very open to other people’s opinions. I like getting to know other people and other cultures. I like seeing what makes them tick, how they deal with things. People can be so different yet if you know how to connect the dots, you find them more similar than not

Hi hummingfly, I wanted to send this to you because you're a pretty big blog in the fandom and I see a lot of people reblogging from you - when reblogging images, can you check the notes for an image description and try to reblog that version? Same to all your followers, too.

Image descriptions are important for making content accessible to blind/visually impaired people using screen readers, autistic people who have hard times with facial expressions, and anyone else, really. It can be a little frustrating for people to take the time to write IDs and see others continuously reblogging the less accessible version. The more people reblog the accessible version, the more people can see that version!

3. Name a subject/topic you know a lot about.

Psychology! I love psychology! I don’t know if I know enough, but I’m majoring in BS Psychology, now in my 3rd year. It’s a cluster of all my interests wrapped together! And I think it reflects in my writing because I always treat my characters like real people (and sometimes wanting to refer them for therapy lol). I’m always interested in personality, whatever makes someone tick, their goals, how they cope, how they react to situations, and how our minds work. Specifically, I love how one intangible thought is capable of creating something real.

7. If you could create ANY mix-up or mythical animal and have it be brought to life, what would it be?

Panda and a Puppy!! I love how fluffy pandas are, and how clingy and loyal dogs can be, so viola! Panduppy? Pandog? Dogda? Panuppy? Sounds like a Pokemon lmao. It’s just that I prefer pets that can handle the ‘stress of being hugged.’ I got so sad when I learned rabbits and hamsters get stressed out whenever you touch them, so I think a cross between a panda and a dog would be good because why not? HAHA

8. Do you think everyone in our lives serves a purpose, or are some people just there?

Oh, I love this question. My beliefs are now in line with the latter. We’re all born to simply live life, which is complex and vast and varied. Life is a buffet, and it’s a shame to choose only one dish to eat throughout our lifetime. The former mindset used to be the root of my internal struggles and that I need to choose only one thing I want to do in life. Hell, I even did Ikigai and listen to podcasts to find such “ultimate purpose” LMAO. Looking back, I felt as if I was treating myself like a tool solely created to do one thing forever and ever. We’re humans. We’re versatile. Unlike objects, we can see, smell, hear, taste and feel. I had this realization after watching Soul (2020)! Its message is so powerful— I totally recommend it! We are born to live; that alone is more than enough.

Ahh yes yes!

1. Not sure if you can tell yet by the amount of petitions and the like I reblog here, but social issues make me passionately angry. I've been doing activism for 2ish years and I'm exhausted lol

2. Overanalyzing pieces of media like fullmetal alchemist! Lol. I spend so much time on my fma blog @envythepalmtree it's not even funny

3. The fact that the school system fucked me over as a child and now I want to make sure other children have it better than I did! Because I am, once again, passionately angry ❤️

4. My writing. It's hard to get started but once I do... oh boy. I fall in love with my own work.

5. Just the concepts of like... morals and grief and monstrosity and different kinds of love? I guess that falls into the writing category but these are ideas that I think about so much.
