id forgotten kaz canonically has freckles until i booted up peace walker a couple of weeks ago when i was bored.. in the illustrated cutscenes they're pretty noticeable and it made me go a little crazy to be honest. why as a man do you have freckles. /lustful

Not a request but kissing Astarion on the tip of his nose is underrated. It’s completely non-sexual, sickly sweet affection. I can just imagine him blinking in surprise if you do it out of nowhere, a creature in absolute astonishment.

Just imagine you're sitting on the ground or in a bed or smth and he's laid back in your lap, head resting against you. You play with his hair and he looks up at you like you're the sun, warming his skin so tenderly. You lean down and he expects a kiss, even grinning just thinking about it. But then you kiss his nose and he blinks, then laughs, baffled. Probably (definitely) teases you for it, claiming you confused his nose for his lips or saying you missed. Even going so far as to pout for a proper kiss until you give it to him

But then after that he's very giddy about receiving them. Can't help but smile and chuckle a little each time, because it's just so cute and sweet and endearing

after attempting to commission art of boba fett without his helmet, i am forced to consider that a good number of artists, subconsciously or not, cannot accept that temuera morrison has always been hot despite his lack of european features, and honestly this explains a lot about the fucking travesty that is every single clone's face in TCW and TBB

I may be in the minority here but I like to think that Usopp’s appearance (pre and post ts) has never been a source of insecurity for him. I think that Usopp loves his nose because it reminds him of his mom. He loves his brown skin and his curly hair! His thick eyebrows and big lips and round eyes help him make lots of cool expressions when he’s telling a story. Plus, Kaya used to always compliment his long lashes, so he’s come to love those, too. He knows he got hot during his two years on Boin and he owns it. Usopp has a lot of self-esteem issues, but that boy wouldn’t consider himself ugly.

I think it’s funny when people draw art of true form Sukuna and they almost always draw his face in a more “conventionally attractive” way. I think anyone who thirsts after OG Sukuna like I do knows what I’m talking about too.

Like look at this man!

His face is noticeably asymmetrical, mouth looks weird as hell, neck seems kind of short(?), his shoulders look odd, nose long and flat, his eyebrow looks like it’s connected to his nose lol, his eyes look beady, and don’t even get me started on that plank of wood that looks like I could rip it off and make a travel sized cutting board out of it.

so for about a month now i've been writing my own version of a film score to accompany The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, but it is taking a little bit longer than anticipated. i finished Act 1 of 6 today, which is about 12.5 minutes long. please give it a listen and tell me your thoughts!

DISCLAIMER

the audio in the video is a MIDI preview, not an actual performance. with this comes some less than desirable things like the balance is kinda whack, etc. etc.

there is one part (in the clerk's office) where a muted trombone does a crescendo over a long note, then plays a short accented note. the long note is supposed to go all the way until the short note, but for some reason, the MIDI rendering cuts the long note a bit shorter than it should be.

Idk why but Uriel,Michael,Gabriel and Raphael give 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse vibes

i do think about this....and think it's pretty interesting when you consider it in the context of revelation - the horsemen are called by the living creatures, often contextualized as the four evangelists but, like i mentioned previously, connected back to the cherubim of ezekiel that are often thought of as representative of the archangels. if they're considered in this way, michael calls conquest/pestilence, uriel calls war, raphael calls famine, and gabriel calls death (if they are listed in the same order as they are introduced in an earlier chapter) i think it's interesting to see how to make these motifs fit and how the angels may fill the role of avatar with their horsemen (possibly as their destructive counterpart/natures). michael's, as conquest, is quite clear, that he destroys for god's army and sows fear by wielding such massive power over the weak (ALSO fascinated by the idea of him as pestilence because of well. his current state in the au lol esp as his rot can spread) uriel as war presents an interesting angle, but i think as the keeper of knowledge and the one who controls all the flow of information, he's absolutely a propaganda machine, and it would be incredibly easy for uriel, above anyone else, to start pointless dissent. raphael as famine is fairly direct, if not as much as michael, as he oversees health and growth, and so his is a role of absence - i like the idea that raphael commits his atrocities through pure dereliction of responsibility as he struggles much more than the other three being direct (esp as harm is contrary to his nature). gabriel, finally, comes as death, connected to his role in revealing apocalyptic visions, and pretty apt imo in the context of ultrakill/this au - he ended the rule of the council, he accepted the death of god himself, and as a fallen angel he has died and been reborn. it gives me a lot of ideas on how they may direct their righteous anger, and just what each is capable of
