Miraculous Ladybug salt x JJBA “Biodad!Jonathan Joestar” AU Headcanons part 5: Arc 3 “The Bizarre Mass Resurection Mystery”

And here we go with part 5 of the headcanons of the “Biodad! Jonathan Joestar” AU!

This part will focus on the arc 3 “The Bizarre Mass Resurection Mystery”!

Arc 3:”The Bizarre Mass Resurection Mystery”:

-Age recap: Marinette:15 years old , Donatello:14 years old , Rikiel:13 years old and Ungalo:13 years old.

-Last summer break were eventfull for Marinette between finding out about her nonna’s job at the Speedwagon Foundation, meeting and fighting four anciens “gods” who knew about the miraculous and meeting three kids who happen to be her half brothers from her mysterious bio father and who became legally her brothers after having been adopted by her parents.

-The times following the adoption were hard as Marinette and her parents had to help the three young boys with their issues but in the end they managed to adapt and give the boys the help they need to heal.

-Donatello got therapy for the abuse he had been victim and anger management.

-Rikiel got therapy for the abuse he had been victim and also for his anxity and everytime his stand is about to hurt him when he became very anxious, Marinette use [Viva la Vida] to calm him and keep his stand under control.

-Ungalo got therapy for the abuse he had been victim and for his temper problems.

-The three boys are homeschooled until they’re mentally healed enough to be able to go to a school.

-At Françoise-Dupont, many had their own opinion about this adoption.

-The Akuma class and miss Bustier were uncertains about the new additions to the Dupain-Cheng householde, to them those boys seemed to be so... opposite to the Dupain-Cheng family’s sweet image everyone view.

-Adrien’s opinion will be different regarding how whoever who use this AU write him:

-If this is Adrien!salt: Adrien will had the same opinion than the class.

-If this is Adrien!salt with redemption: Adrien’s opinion will be mixed, on one hand he would agree with the class but on the other hand he will not be sure if he totally agree with them but is too scared to voice his hesitations.

-If this is Adrien!sugar: Adrien will not agree at all with the class and will even be happy for Marinette having new brothers.

-To the class’s surprise, Chloe don’t seem to had an opinion on the matter and if she had one she don’t voice it, which is unlikely of her.

-In fact ever since the “Miracle Queen” events Chloe was surprisingly quiet, isoliting herself from the class and not trying to be the center of attention anymore, not like the class care to them it was like freedom from Chloe’s bullying.

-As for Lila she profit from the situation to telling the class and Bustier lies, with the influence of [Disturbia], about how she knew families who adopted kids from “dificult backgrounds” and who end up miserable or even in danger because of that.

-This push the class and Bustier to meddling into the Dupain-Cheng family’s business like the class trying to “talk” to Marinette that maybe her parents should reconsider this adoption ‘cause “with those kids’s “special” background you never know what could happen” and are very confused when Marinette get mad at them.

-Bustier also tried to “talk” to Marinette’s parents about the adoption and suggest to them that maybe she could be tutoring the boys ‘cause she feel they also can do “wierd things” and thought they need her “guidance” but the Dupain-Cheng couple politely rejected her offer.

-Until the boys’s mental health is stable enough they will be homeschooled and teach by a tutor who’s trained for teaching children with mental health problems.

-When the boys will be able to go to school, Tom and Sabine plan to make sure they’re not placed in Bustier’s class as with what happen to Marinette, they don’t want the boys to be exposed to Bustier’s toxic influence.

-Months pass, the boys are settled and integrated into the Dupain-Cheng family and even begin to see Tom and Sabine as their parents and became close with their sister Marinette, the akumas attacks keep going and unfortunately for Marinette, Lila still manipulate the class into thinking she’s a bully to Lila.

-During those last months Chloe left Marinette alone much to the latter’s surprise.

-One day the class was planning a field trip, but to the classmates’s demands Marinette and Chloe are banned from the trip ‘cause “they want to protect poor Lila”.

-Chloe didn’t seem to care and Marinette while upset try her best to not show it not wanting to give Lila this satisfaction.

-After class and that Marinette calmed herself down with Tikki’s and [Viva la Vida]’s help out of anyone’s sight, Marinette wondered what she will do now she’s banned from the field trip and Tikki told her that if she can’t go on the field trip with her class than what if she do a trip herself during her class’s absence?

-Marinette found the idea not bad at all and after having thought about it for a while she found a way to go on a trip while her class is away: by creating a travel club.

-Marinette talked with some friends from other classes, Luka, Kagami and Marc include, and together they created a travel club.

-Bustier with the class tried to talk to Damoclès to keep the creation of the travel club “Marinette is supposed to be punished from travel after all” but there’s nothing Damoclès can do since Marinette was forbidden to do Bustier’s class’s field trip but not to organise trips with classmates from other classes.

-So while Marinette and the others members of the travel club were discussing about how orginizing the foundraisers, they got the surprise to be approached by an unsured Chloe who wanted to talk to Marinette in private.

-To her surprise Chloe actually apology for the bad things she had done to her in the past, turn out during summer break she had long reflections about herself and realized the bad things she had done and wanted to try to truly change and be a better person.

-Of course she don’t expect Marinette to forgive her and magically becoming her friend but she wanted at least to let her know that she will stop tormenting her and leave her alone.

-Marinette wasn’t sure what to answer, but normally Chloe would never admit she was a bad person and the fact she actually leave her alone those last months seemed to prove she was genuine.

-Marinette told Chloe that she accept her appologies that while it will she don’t think she can consider her as a friend after everything maybe they can work this out to be at least acquaintance on neutral/good terms which Chloe accept.

-To Chloe’s surprise, Marinette even invite her to join the travel club, she explain to see this as an alliance offer, right now they’re ones of the very few students in Bustier’s class who don’t buy Lila’s lies and who are tormented because of that so she thought it would be better for them to be allies until the “Lila problem” is take care of.

-After hesitating for a time Chloe end up accepting and join the travel club and help them planning their first trip.

-The club decided to do a trip to Italy.

-After having the agreement of the school board and Damoclès, the travel club orginized successful foundraisers and Chloe convinced her father to donate for the travel.

-During the month before the start of their trip, Marinette encouraged Chloe to go to see miss Mendelieiv to learn how to use her stand [Caravane Palace] much to Bustier’s dismay.

-After everything is settled the travel club officialy beging their trip to Italy for two months with Gina, who was traveling in Italy, and miss Mendelieiv as chaperones and on the first weeks everything was fine and everyone was having a good time.

-Things get a bizarre turn when they get to Napoli with an akuma attacking the city.

-See Gabriel Agreste was in Napoli for a business trip and he think that since Ladybug seemed to be everywhere he make akumas maybe he would have an advantage by creating a akuma in a place completly unknow to Ladybug.

-The akuma in question was a member of the italian mafia group “Passione” who wanted to impress the boss and have an important place in the gang, he was in a really bad mood and Hawkmoth profit from it by akumatise him into an akuma who go in a rampage in “the glory of the Boss”.

-The akuma was very destructive and violent and a lot of people were injured or dead.

-Knowing she can’t fight this akuma alone, Marinette discretely go to transform into Ladybug and give to Luka and Kagami the snake and the drgon miraculous and also to Chloe the bee miraculous.

-The fight was tough and very difficult but Team Miraculous managed to beat the akuma and Ladybug used her powers to reverse the damages caused by the akuma and combine with it [Viva la Vida]’s miracle powers to make the reverse’s effects more efficiant.

-But this drained a lot of energy from Marinette who after de-transforming fainted and was in a coma for two week with the others being sick worried.

-At the same time Marinette woke up from her coma, Giorno Giovanna who became the new Don of Passione and was reorganizing the mafia gang for two weeks now get very bizarre news from an hospital, who was in relation with Passione,: Many people from Passione who were supposed to be dead were at this moment in this hospital’s beds inconscious but very much alive.

-Doppio was even among the resurected members which was even more strange since according to [Gold Experience Requiem] Diavolo is still in the death loop.

-At first eveyone thought those resurections were [Gold Experience Requiem]’s work but Giorno explained it wasn’t his stand much to the gang’s confusion.

-The thing is, this mass resurection is due to [Viva la Vida]’s powers with the Ladybug miraculous powers, since the akuma was doing a rampage in his “boss’s name”, Ladybug’s reverse powers and [Viva la Vida]’s powers then reverse damages, healed injuries and brought back from death people who were victims of “the boss” of Passione, but the mix of the two powers extended it to also bring back to life those who were dead in “Golden Wing” and who were victims of Diavolo.

->Characters from Jojo part 5 who were brought back to life:

-Bruno Buccellati

-Leone Abbacchio

-Narancia Ghirga

-La Squadra, Sorbet and Gelato included: The team were victims of Diavolo since their death by team Buccellati’s hand happen ‘cause they wanted to kidnap Trish to track down Diavolo since he killed Sorbet and Gelato.

-Squalo and Tiziano: Despite having been in Diavolo’s special team, they weren’t really loyal to Diavolo and just followed his orders like any members of Passione would do and can’t refuse said orders unless they want to die.

-Vinegar Doppio: He is a victim of Diavolo(himself) since he didn’t know that his “bossu” was another personnality of his and Diavolo profit a lot from Doppio’s ignorance to use him which bring Doppio to his death.

-Another surprise is that Polnareff got his body and stand back: [Viva la Vida]’s powers give him back his body and so “bring back to life” in a certain way and this happen since him loosing his body was Diavolo’s doing.

-Others characters who died in jojo part 5 like Polpo, Carne, Cioccolata, Secco or Leaky-eye Luca are still dead ‘cause they were bad people who were very loyal to Diavolo and who liked what they were doing in Passione and profit grantly of said position without any regret for all the people they have killed.

-While Giorno, Fugo(who come back into Passione some times after part 5), Mista and Trish were happy that Buccellati, Narancia and Abbacchio were back and that Polnareff got his body back, there was still a couple of problems.

-1) What to do about the others Passione members who were brought back to life, especially Doppio? And 2) If [Gold Experience Requiem] isn’t the stand behind this mass resurection then what stand did it?

-For the rest who were brought back to life, it was decided to give them the choice to stay in Passione or not: they can stay in Passione and plead alligance to Giorno and in exchange they will had a good salary and living conditions or they can leave the organisation and they will be left alone.

-La Squadra, Squalo and Tiziano decided to stay in Passione and plead alligance to Giorno.

-For Doppio team Buccellati decided to keep him with them to keep an eye on him ‘cause despite being Diavolo he didn’t know about the whole “splited personnality” and he did the horrible things done by Diavolo and also learning he was in fact Diavolo quite traumatised him and make him a bit mentally unstable so everyone think it was better to not leave him alone due to the risk he would do something stupid.

-For the problem number 2, Giorno lunched a big investigation by using all the intel in Passione, the intel from La Squadra included, to find who was responsible for the mass resurection after all they don’t know if this stand user could be a treath or not.

-The investigation lead them to a strange event which happened in Napoli apparently at the same time than Giorno’s fight against Diavolo: apparently a member of Passione mysteriously get “super powers” and caused a rampage in the city before being beaten by a “super heroes team” who normally are operating in France.

-After interogating some Passione members witnessed the accident team Buccellati learned they saw the “heroes team” were also stand users.

-Thank to Abbacchio’s [Moody Blue] they have been able to find out the heroes team’s identities while investigating the place where the fight were and they found out those heroes were teenagers.

-Some of team Buccellati and La Squadra were then send to locate those teens, keep an eye on them and investigate them.

-Luka spotted them thank to his [Daft Punk] and warned the rest of the travel club which lead to some altercations for a few days which made things a bit difficult for the Passione members.

-After some reports Giorno noticed on the photos that Marinette had the very same star shapped birthmark than him and at the same place than him.

-He then tasked the members charged to keep an eye on Marinette and co to collect a bit of Marinette’s DNA to clear up some suspicions of his.

-After Marinette’s DNA was collected, not without difficulties of course, and analyzed, Giorno find outwith surprise that Marinette is his sister.

-The shock passed and after having a discussion with his team about it, Giorno decided to approach the french group to get Marinette to had a meeting with him.

-Buccellati was the one send to approach Marinette ‘cause he is the most calm, diplomatic and friendly of Passione.

-When Buccellati first meet the travel club, the teenagers and their chapperones were on their guards at first but after some talks and negociations, Buccellati manage to convince them to let Marinette come with him to had a meeting with "his boss” on the condition that Gina, Luka, Kagami and Chloe come with them while miss Mendelieiv and the rest of the travel club stay at the hotel while they are gone.

-At this meeting Kagami got the surprise to see Polnareff, her stand coach and fencing teacher, here in Italy and Polnareff was equally surprised to see Kagami.

-During the meeting Marinette learn some unexpected things: Giorno is another unknow brother of her and is the current Don of the italian mafia, her stand apparently bring back to life more people than just the ones who have been killed by the akumatized stand user and apparently her “bio father”’s name is “Dio”.

-Giorno asked Marinette several questions about her homelife and was relieved to learn that unlike him his sister had a good homelife with loving parents and was surprised to learn that him and Marinette also had three other brothers that Marinette’s parents had adopted since last summer.

-Gina’s suspicions about Marinette’s bio father’s identity got comfirmed when hearing the name “Dio”.

-Through the meeting the rest of team Buccelatti were wondering in their head lie “this petite girl is really the one behind the mass resurection?”.

-Marinette, Gina, Luka, Kagami and Chloe getting to know more about Giorno and team Buccelatti through the meeting.

-[Viva la Vida] being the curious stand she is examin Giorno and team Buccelatti and their stand and end up give them , stand users and stand alike, hugs much to Marinette’s embarassment.

-[Viva la Vida] even hug Fugo’s stand [Purple Haze] by using her miracle powers to be immune to [Purple Haze]’s virus.

-The meeting is momentally interupted by Risotto who came to give a report to Giorno, when he saw the french group he was confused about who those people were and when Marinette was introduced to him as Giorno’s sister and the one behind his and his whole team’s resurection, Risotto was like “I see...” before kneeled before Marinette and kissed her hand while saying in italian “Giovane padrona” much to Marinette’s confusion before standing up once again and leave to go back to his team once he give his report to Giorno.

-The thing is by having resurected him and his team, Risotto consider being in eternal debt toward Marinette for bring him and most importantly his men back and with her being also the Don’s sister this mean it was also his duty as a member of Passione to ensure hers and her close ones’s safety, so when he kneeled before her and kissed her hand it mean he extanded his alligance to her since she’s the Don family and swear to protect her and anyone else from hers and the Don close ones from any threat which please Giorno since that mean Marinette’s and his three others brothers’s safety is enssured.

-After the meeting team Buccellati accompagny the french group back to their hotel.

-The rest of the Travel club’s stay in Italy go peacefully and during the rest of the trip, Marinette get to bond with Giorno.

-Gina called Tom and Sabine to warn them about Marinette having found another unknow brother and while very surprised the Dupain-Cheng couple decided to invite the young man so he would also meet Donatello, Rikiel and Ungalo.

-When the Travel club go back to Paris Giorno and Mista go with them, Giorno leaving Buccellati in charge of Passione while he is away.

-Giorno and Mista meet the Dupain-Cheng household and Giorno bond with Donatello, Rikiel and Ungalo.

-Marinette, Donatello, Rikiel and Ungalo took Giorno and Mista to make them visit Paris but when they get to the park they are spotted by Lila who were passing by and approached them to cause troubles and try to lie to Giorno and Mista to paint Marinette as a bad person and telling how it would be better if they frequent a good person like her, while she’s flirty toward Giorno and using [Disturbia] to try to influence them to believe her but neither Giorno or Mista fall for her lies and neither are influenced by [Disturbia]’s powers.

-Marinette is even like “Lila could you please leave us alone? Donatello, Rikiel, Ungalo and I are giving a tour of the city to our brother and his friend and we would like to do it in peace!”, Lila just go being like “You’ll regret this Maribrat!”.

-After this interaction, Giorno and Mista asked Marinette, Donatello, Rikiel and Ungalo what was that and Marinette is like “It was just Lila, she’s a girl with a bad habit of lying but is mostly an annoyance!”.

-Donatello, Rikiel and Ungalo object that Lila is way more than an annoyance since the Italian girl seemed to be obssessed with ruining Marinette’s life and is lying non-stop to paint Marinette to everyone as an horrible person who constently bully her, but Marinette stand on her ground that they exagerating and though her body language show the ”Lila situation” is really bad, she still assure that everything is fine despite her brothers’s, Giorno include, and Mista’s concerns.

-When the group go back to the bakery they found two men talking with the Dupain-Cheng couple.

-The two men are Jotaro and Josuke who came to Paris to meet and talk to Giorno, Marinette, Donatello, Rikiel and Ungalo about their “bio father”.

-You see the SPWF got report of strange activities in Italy about a powerfull energy coming from a stand which bring back to life a bunch of poeple.

-Jotaro make an investigation with the foundation to get the bottom of this and the investigation lead them to the Dupain-Cheng household.

-He found out that Marinette possess a stand which allow her to do “miracles” and also that the family adopted three of Dio’s or rather Jonathan’s sons.

-After having interrogated Gina on the phone, Jotaro also learned that Marinette is also a child of Jonathan and that she met Giorno, the last of Jonathan’s children, during a trip in Italy and that he go back in France with her to meet their other brothers.

-Jotaro with Josuke go to Paris to meet the five kids.

-During the discussion Jotaro told them about Jonathan and also Dio and what kind of man the latter was much to the five teens’s horror especially Giorno who’s shocked that the father he wanted dearly to meet since he was young was in fact a monster.

-However Jotaro told them that despite Dio being their birth father, their biological father was Jonathan who was a good man and that from what he see despite everything they seem to get more from Jonathan than Dio.

-He told them also that despite the circonstance of their birth, they’re Jonathan’s children and family to the Joestar.

-The discussion goes on, Marinette and her brothers learning more and more of their family’s bizarre’s life and for Marinette this was the begenin of something which lead her to big, bizarre and dangerous events.

Additional headcanons:

-Marinette and her brothers having sweet siblings moments.

-During the rest of the trip in Italy, Marinette created a suit for Giorno which is the black suit with green ladybugs he wore at the end of “Golden Wind”.

-Giorno bonding with all his siblings.

-The Dupain-Cheng being parental and welcoming toward Giorno when they meet him.

-Sabine being shaken and being comforted by Tom when learning from Jotaro that the man, Dio, with who she slept years ago was a dangerous vampire and that she was lucky nothing bad happen to her that night since Dio usually kill the people he lure to sleep with him.

-Tom and Sabine bein moral support for the kids when learning about Dio.

-During the rest of the trip in Italy Kagami had a talk with Polnareff about a friend of her(Adrien), which she suspect to had a stand but which seem unstable and that said friend seem to had no control on this stand and she’s worried about him.

-Polnareff promised her to try to help her friend and one day he go back in France and meet Adrien during one of his fencing private lessons with kagami.

->He talk with Adrien to propose him to help him regarding his stand and depending on whoever who use this AU choose for Adrien it will go like this:

-If it’s Adrien sugar or Adrien salt with redemption: Polnareff will convince Adrien to let him help him despite the boy’s hesitations to had anything to do with his stand and fear to desappoint his father for doing “wierd things”, Polnareff with Tomoe help, the latter having talking to Gabriel about the excellent fencing tutor she hired for Kagami, will get hired by Gabriel to also give private fencing lessons to Adrien and during those lessons Polnareff will also help Adrien to had a better control of [Freak on a Leash] and officially become also the boy’s stand coach and with time the two became close forming a son-father like bond and Polnareff even help Adrien to learn to be more assertive and that sometime “taking the high road” is not the best solution.

-If it’s Adrien salt: Adrien will reject Polnareff’s offer, pretexting he don’t need help and there’s nothing wrong with him, Polnareff try to convince him to accept his help but Adrien still reject the offer and Polnareff got no other choice but to respect his choice but still give him his phone number if he change his mind, but while going back to his home Adrien throw away the phone number muttering in his breath “I’m normal, there’s nothing wrong with me!”not noticing [Freak on a Leash] being more agitated than usual or rather he is trying to ignore him.

-[Viva la Vida] giving hugs to Jotaro and Josuke and to [Star Plantinum] and [Crazy Diamonds].

-Hawkmoth begenin to be interested by Stands and their habilities.

-The kwamis playing with [Viva la Vida].

-Team Buccellati, Giorno include, knew about Marinette being Ladybug but decided to act as if they don’t.

-Gina know about Marinette being Ladybug ‘cause with her Hamon training she can read energies and she found out that Marinette’s energy and Ladybug’s energy are the same but decided to act as if she don’t know to protect her grand-daughter’s secret identity.

-Since stands are capacities very recent and are the very encens of a being and so very complex, miraculous magic can mix with stands but the “magic camouflage” don’t really work on stands.

-The member of Passione call Marinette "giovane padrona"(young mistress) and Donatello, Rikiel and Ungalo "giovane padrone"(young master) since they're Giorno's siblings.

Chris loved fall, he showed it in the pictures he posted on instagram you loved it no because of the orange trees or because halloween but because it's been 2 years you met Chris and you thought it was going to be a moment and would finished as soon as it happened but you might have done something because Chris didn't want to let you go, and he didn't even you were very eceptic about dating him, you could think it was a dream come true but you thought about everything that came with dating a famous person and that famous person being Chris Evans but what you felt first was charm and fan loving, soon became real and honest love you were completely inlove with him and everyone could see it in the way you looked at him, you become a memme in internet saying "stay with the person that looks at you like Chris Evans's girlfriend look at him", Shanna, Chris sister, showed you that once and you had to retweet it because it was true

His family was a very important piece of your relationship, his sister became one of your best friends, his brother Scott bond with you a lot when he stayed to spend quarantine with you, even Lisa, his mother the one that you thought was going to be the most dificult to warm to you and to believe you didn't care about the fame or the money was the first one that realise you were going to be the one for her son and even you got into fights like every couple did, Chris was the person you saw yourself growing old with

I don't know what to say... I love you so much...- at this point you were crying and Chris hold a few tears in his own eyes

You were still crying but they were all happy tears Chris grab his phone and took a picture of both your hands showing your ring

Do you think that traditional native face tattoos could have or should have been included in the series? How do you think it might have been incorporated if so? I hope this isn't an inappropriate or offensive question, it's just that I was reading an article about the revival of traditional Inuit face tattoos and the image of a water bending avatar with glowing tattoos popped into my head and I'd be interested to hear a more educated perspective than mine on such a concept.

I would have loved to see traditional tattoos in the series, but I think there was a practical reason they weren't used. I mean, it was likely just that they didn't feel like it, but it would have been a real strain on the animators as well. Aang's arrow tattoos are on skin that doesn't move much, but these traditional tattoos are close to the mouth and thus would have to be considered every time the characters talked. The fighting styles in the show are based on actual martial arts and so the animation was already very specific. Having to figure out how tattoos stretch with the skin when even just Katara, Sokka, and Yue talk would have been pretty dificult, but I can dream.

A good source for traditional tattoos among the Arctic Peoples is Lars Krutak's Tattoos of the Hunter-Gatherers of the Arctic. Here's a link. It's a fascinating read, but be warned: there's some sexual content that might gross people out (the story about the sun and the moon gets game of thrones real fast). While the Focus is mainly on St. Lawrence Island Yup'ik women, as they were the main group Krutak has experience working with, be sure to note that the practices mentioned about them aren't necessarily exclusive. My mother told me what her mother, a King Island Inupiaq woman, told her about the painful tattoos women in her village would get on their faces generations ago, very similar to the Yup'ik tradition. Inupiat, Canadian Inuit, and Greenlandic Inuit groups are also mentioned, as well as mummies found in the territories.

A lot of articles on the revival of these practices are really just pointing out that tattooing was practiced and now it's making a comeback. Krutak's article actually goes into historical descriptions of the tattoos and provides some (admittedly blurry) visual aids. It helps that he's a legit anthropologist specializing in tattoos and studied at UAF. Definitely give this article a good read through if that sort of thing interests you

Quick and dirty if not entirely accurate version, not guaranteed to apply to all cultures mentioned:

The V-shaped lines on a woman's forhead denoted her as a matron. She has taken on the responsibilities of a wife and mother. These are sometimes matched with lines that start at the nose and go along the cheeks.

Lines on the chin meant a girl was of age to consider marriage. The common design in the Bering Straits region where my family's from is a thick stripe at the center with a thin line or two at either side, but this is not the only design and many versions exist. Tattoos on a woman's cheek could be just there to look pretty. There could be other reasons, but we love art and on our bodies we can carry it everywhere. The ones on the ladies hands and forearms were the same case. They might take inspiration from the landmarks around their home. Thighs were sometimes tattooed so that the first thing a baby sees when it's born is beauty.

Vertical lines going down the sides of the face were for a woman's fertility. Your kids would be the ones to specifically take care of you in old age, even if the community always kept you in mind, so you didn't want to be without.

Men might have tattoos near the corners of their mouths. These could mean skill in hunting and some could be to protect the man from drowning, especially if he almost did once already

"Helpers" were sometimes tattooed on the forehead. They look kind of like stick figures

Mourning or pallbearer tattoos may consist of dots at the joints (wrists, elbows, hips, knees, etc) so the spirit can't possess anyone they died near. They might also have designs on the face.

So if you wanna get the most bang for your buck with a tattooed Water Tribe Avatar, she'd be a woman, likely married (two husbands should make home life easier when she's away doing Avatar duties and can't fish or trap, espeically if they have their elderly mothers living there too) with children. Do with this what you will.

If I Knew Then What I Know Now: Chapter Two

After several hours, Landon got off of the bus in New Orleans and looked around, clutching his backpack. He tensed up as he got into a crowd of people walking around. Music was playing, jazz that he generally would have enjoyed but right now between the people around and the music playing, he knew it could be very dificult to defect danger. His heart pounded a little before he calmed himself and retreated to an alley.

He opened up his bag and pulled out a dagger from his small stash of weapons before concealing it. He wanted to make sure around it was easily accessible. He looked around carefully, thinking. He needed to keep an eye on everything. and find the Mikaelsons. But what would he say when he found them?

Hope would probably be suspicious that he had appeared normal but was actually knowledgeable about the supernatural. But the real 15 year old Landon hadn't been. He had no idea. But this was 18 year old Landon trapped (possibly permanently) in his 15 year old body.

How could he possibly explain everything to her? And he was a mess. He was not good to be around, and he knew it. He sighed softly and continued looking around as he walked down a back street less chaotic than the main busy streets of New Orleans. His senses were on high alert.

The human hesitated before rejoining the busy street and looking around a bit. Suddenly, he bumped into someone, automatically tensing up as his hand reached for his weapon just in case. But then he saw the familiar face and felt his grip loosen. The one person still alive that he truly trusted. He trusted everyone else at the school to a degree. But Hope and Rafael were the only ones he has ever trusted completely in his whole life. The woman he loved and his foster brother. Who currently didn't even know him.

"Landon?" Hope Mikaelson questioned in surprise.

"Hope" Landon said, relief flooding his voice as he looked at the girl he loved. It felt like it had been years since he had last seen her. The girl he kept fighting to get back to.

"What- what are you doing in New Orleans?" Hope looked at him.

Landon hesitated briefly, his mind spinning on what to say. He didn't want to lie to her but also wasn't sure what he should say. "I just got back from a... long and not very pleasant trip. I decided to come here once I got back. I've always wanted to come. It's home to some ot the greatest musicians of all time"

"What about your job at the Mystic Grill?"

"I don't work there anymore" It was true for his 18 year old self at least

Landon was already doing more talking than he had done in a while. He wasn't used to being around people. While he was always comfortable around Hope, he also still didn't want to talk all that much. Yet at least

"Oh" Hopr said, her tone faint with disappointment, and Landon suspected she too was thinking about the Peanut Butter Blasts with whipped cream on the bottom that she ordered and he served her whenever she came to the Mystic Grill. "Have you found a place to stay in while you're in New Orleans?"

Landon shook his head slightly. "No. but I will find somewhere" Somewhere to camp out for now, he added silently. He had little money, and Hope did not know he knew about the supernatural world.

"Right... well I was about to head home. It's been a long... couple of weeks actually. Family stuff. But, uh, if you need anything, vo to Rousseau's and ask around for me. And maybe I could give you a tour while you are here" she said, seemingly hesitant. She looked as though she both didn't want to talk and also wanted the distraction the tour would provide.

"You don't have to if you don't want to" Landon said. He both wanted to avoid people as well as remain with Hope by his side, his anchor the one that had kept him going. The one he fought to get back to.

"I do" Hope said. "I need to head home first, but I'll meet you here in two hours? " Hope gestured to Rousseau's

Landon nodded. "l'll be here " he promised her

"I'll see you then" The tribrid walked away to her home.

Landon looked around, thinking about everything. He retreated into an alley and continued walking, trying to find a good place to camp out for the night once night came. It took him a bit, but he found an abandoned building. Landon looked around a bit and opened up the door quietly.

It was a bit dusty but not the worst place he has camped out it. He had to keep moving in the prison world, never could stay at the same place. The longest he had risked it was at the Salvatore School at the beginning. He had stayed in Hope's bedroom, surrounded by her things that had brought him so much comfort. But the building became dangerous as the monsters further invaded and destroyed it. So he had left and started moving from place to place each night.

Landon pulled out his blade and turned it, knowing it would be a good idea if he had some vervain considering he was in New Orleans. Just in case. Though he did have a wooden weapon in his bag. Dr Saltzman kept himself stocked with weaponry. Probably because he used to be a vampire hunter.

Eventually, Landon put away the blade and headed to Rousseau's. He walked inside and looked around. cautiously, waiting for Hope as he sat at a table. Soon, she walked inside, and he straightened up at the sight of her.

"You came" she said

A slight smile formed on Landon's face. "I did"

"Come on, I'll show you around"

Landon stood up, and the two of them walked out of Rousseau's. There was a little bit of silence, neither particularly wanting to talk in general but also finding comfort in the presence of each other.

"You seem different" Hope spoke up eventually, looking over at Landon.

It was true. He was more mature and distant. Tense. Though her presence certainly helped. But he had just gone through Malivore and fighting for his life,, fighting to get back to her.

"So do you" Landon observed, noticing the pained and guilt filled look in her eyes. "I guess we have both been through a lot since we last saw each other." He tore his gaze away and looked ahead.

He breathed out a little slowly as he saw more and more people. He hadn't been around people in a while, and it was a lot to take in being here. At least he didn't have to worry about gargoyles or dragons or anything else. Assuming this was real and he had actually traveled back in time. Though he still wasn't sure, considering the last monster he had seen had also been the one to make him believe he was rescued over and over again. But it had never happened like this.

"Yeah" Hope said quietly. "I guess we have" She cleared her throat and began giving Landon the tour she had promised him. "So how long are you staying in the city?"

"I'm not sure yet. It depends on my reasons to stay"

"Well, what about school?"

"I could ask you the same question" Landon pointed out with a faint smile.

"Right, well, I'm dealing with... family stuff and then I'm going back to the Salvatore School" Hope explained vaguely. "You're probably better off not roaming around at night here. Did you find a place to stay?"

"I did. Thanks for the tour"

"It's no problem. Honestly, I could use the distraction" Hope tugged down the sleeves of her jacket.

"Is there anything you want to talk about?" Landon asked. "I'm here if you want to talk. No matter how crazy it sounds" He wanted her to know he was there for her

The tribrid shook her head a little and continued walking. After a bit, she took a seat on a bench, and he sat down beside her, looking at her curiously. He didn't ask her again, not wanting to push her to talk. Just as he wouldn't want to be pushed to talk about what he had gone through in the prison world.

"My... my mom died a few days ago" Hope said finally, looking at the street ahead of them. "And it's hard to explain, but its my fault. And I haven't been able to get my mind off of it" She swallowed thickly.

Landon nodded a little at her words. "Well, whatever happened, whatever part in her death you think you played or did play, I'm sure she would forgive you. I doubt she'd blame you for it. I've met people. I've gotten good at reading people, and most of them aren't that great. But I can tell you're a good person, Hope. So whatever happened, try not to beat yourself up about it."

"You don't even know what i did."

"No, I don't, but I can tell you are a good person. I've always been able to see that."

"I've been trying to avoid family members" Hope said, though she looked like she wasn't sure why she was telling him this. "But when you live with a big group of them, its kind of hard to"

Landon looked at Hope, his gaze soft. "Whatever it is you're going through right now, you'll get through it. And remember you're not alone."

"I don't even know why I'm telling you this. Or why I'm spending time with you. It's better if I keep my distance"

"Better for who? It's okay to talk to people, Hope. And its okay if you dont. But just know you have people willing to listen and be here for you. I know you barely know me, but I'm here for you"

"Thank you, Landon" Hope said, looking at him. She suddenly stood up. "I should get back home."

Landon stood up and headed down the street with her once she started walking. "I'll walk with you"

"I'm fine, Landon"Hope said, but it then started raining as they neared the Mikaelson home. She hesitated, "Do you want to come in to stay dry? Just for a little bit."

Landon hesitated. "No, I'll-I'll go but maybe I'll see you soon before either of us leave New Orleans"

"Yeah maybe. I'd like that" Hope said before swiftly going inside and closing the door.

He smiled a little and waited a moment before going off to the abandoned building. He slowly opened the door and took a step inside. Landon ran a hand through his wet, curly hair, moving away from windows so there was less of a chance he was seen but also close enough to the back exit he could take off.

He set his backpack down and unzipped it. The unactivated phoenix took off his soaked shirt and replaced it with the Mystic Grill shirt before setting the other shirt out to dry. He needed to get more clothes. Figure out somewhere he could bathe here. Once it stopped raining, he'd go exploring. He needed to get a better idea on the area and what to do.

What should he do?

He knew the future. He knew what Hope would be forced to endure. What they all would have to go through. Maybe it would be better if he just... changed it. Maybe it would be smarter to ensure Malivore never rises.

Landon took a seat an put his head in his hands, trying to think about what should be done. He needed to help Hope. And if her mom was already dead, she likely had the Hollow magic in her already. But if she didn't, he needed to stop it. He loved her. And she deserved to be happy. It was the right thing to do.

Wasn't it?

After everything Hope does for everyone, doesn't she deserve to be happy and be able to live with her father?

When Darien broke up with Serena, instead of trying to get back together she accepted the fact that Darien no longer loves her; so she broke the bond that ties them together releasing both of them from any future they may share in the future. In doing so her devine blood are slowly return along with her memories of her past and old powers as the daughter of Hades.

5 months after the Giant war snd union of the two camp. Piper Mclean cheated on her boyfriend Jason Geace, proving that she is no differnt from the rest of her other siblings and mother. They love to play with anymans or woman’s feelings like their mother.

Jason broke things off with Piper before leave Camp Half-Bloof before taking a short break and away from his cheating ex-girkfriend Piper. He decided to go to Tokyo Japan in a city called Juuban. That’s where he meet Serena Tsukino who Darien recently broke up with.

They become friends as the months go by Serena’s old power finally settle back down, and she know that Jason Grace is no ordinary mortal, but a demigod. As they gotten to know each other they bern slowly falling in love with each other especially now that she has fully wwaken, as the daughter of Hades.

Hades the God of the underworld has felt the prescentvof someone he hadn’t felt since “Little Moon Princess” died 1000 years ago, his daughter Serenity is reborn some where in Japan and her old memories of her past life has been restore once more along with her old powersvand if she has return then my daughter could also possibly be reborn as well.

“But if I have felt my daughter Serenity’s reborn then so had my two brothers. Poseidon and Zeus had both loved his little moon Princess like their own Daughter and would do anything to protect her “Hades thought.

The Inner Scouts has been slowly been distancing themself from Serena after Darien broke up with her until one day they all kick her out of the team which Serena didn’t mind one bit, so she could stop showing at any scout battle since appearntly they can do it without her so she left the Inner Scouts handel their own battle and now that I stop fighting Youma I have more Free time. I Start Painting again. Which I gaved up after I become Sailor Moon.

And with my free time Jason help me control my ADHD and Dyslexia that I’m getting better at School. And Jason also help me train when he discover that I’m a reborn Daughter of Hades who recently regain all my memories and powers.

My father Hades finally located me and gaved me two weapon I could use to protect my self from monsters, my father gaved me a celestial Bronze Spear

Stygian Iron Sword and when they aren’t being use my glaive took the appearance of a necklace

And my sword took the appearnce of a goden bracelet

that I wear at all times even if they are ever stolen they are charmed to return to me.

He even gaved ne his blessing to date Jason if I want. And like in my past life my father can still read me like an open book that he knows that I actually have feelings for Jason that he gaved us his blessing to date one another. Something my fathrr never gaved Endymione which make me happy to have my father’s blessing and aproval of the man I Love. After that Jason and I offically start dating one another and without noticing until then and we finally admited to one another that we love eac other.

When Zues found out from his brother Hades that his only Roman demigod Jason Grace has began dating the current self of Princess Serenity. He also gaved his blessing to the new couple after all ge treated Serenity like his own daughter like Poseidon.

And Poseidon was the last one to find out that Princess Serenity has been reborn and has began dating the Roman son of Jupiter, Jason Grace so he also gaved them his blessing as well.

4 months later...

I start doing well in school now that I no longer fight Youma every damm day and night. And with Jason’s help did wounders to control my ADHD and Dyslrxia. And even Ms.Haruna is even impress with the improvement of my grade I’m now receving B or C in my class.

Jason and I has gottenmuch closer since we start dating offically 4 and 1/2 months ago. But lately the Youma attack has increase in number and the scouts and Tuxedo Mask are starting to get over welm. That’s when I start steping in and helping them at the last minute from dificult predictiment and take care of the Youma. I left without saying anything to them.

But my transformation has an upgrade since I am now Supreme Sailor Moon which is my strongest form.

A week later...

A pink hair girl at the age of 8 years old shiw up out of the blue and now my mortal family seem to think that the girl is tgeir releative. But I have no memoties of her what’s so ever and the fact that my mortal parents are an only child their for this Rini can’t possibly my cousin the daughter “Uncle” since I don’t have a mortal Uncle.

And another thing the Little Gurl Riji tried to enter my room, but that’s no use now thst my memories has return along with my powers, I put alot of security in my room that allow no one, but me to enter my room so she can’t enter as she please.

“ Guys I think we need to ask Serena to become Sailor Moon again and rejion the team, the Youma are getting stronger everyday” Minako saud.

“ No way... we don’t need meatball head’s help to destroy the Youma” Rei replied.

“ I think Minako’s righton this one. Sailor Moon seem to have an upgrade on her transformation and seem to be the only one who can destroy the Youma and she only show up at the last minute to save our asses” Lita said.

“ I agree on Minako and Lita on this one Rei" Ami said.

“Fine, but she better not be late in our meeting”Rei said.

The next day...

“ Serena can wevtalk for a minute” Minako said.

“We want you to join the team again” Ami said.

“ Now why woukd I do that. Now that I don’t have to fight the Youma every day and night, I get alot of free time to do what I want so sorry, but no thinks” Serena said.

“Now if you aren’t going to say something else I’ll be be going, beside you guys kick were the one who kick me out ofvthe team, rememver the only thing I’ll be doing is saving your ass when uou can’t handel the Youma. Now Good day I have somewhere to be” Serena said.

“ what so special that your in a hurry” Lita ask.

“It’s not like it ‘s any your bussiness, but I have a date with my boyfriend.” Serena said.

“Ah.. hate to berst your bubble, but Serena you and Darien broke up remember” Minako said.

“ oh.. I know that but see I wasn’t talking about Darien. I’m talking about my new boyfriend Jason. Well if that’s all goodbye girls. “ Serena said before walking away from her ex-friends and walk to where Jason was waiting for her at school Gate and she kiss him on the lips.

Minako, Ami and Lita watch as serena and her new boyfriend leave the School ground.

“Ah... Do you think Darien knows that Serena is now dating some one else" Lita said.

“”Doutful beside it’s jis own fault for break up with her in the first place when it’s obvious that he still in loves with her. And I can’t fault Serena for that that guy he is a hottie " Minako said.

Darien shield haven’t find out that Serena has finally moved on and was now dating a new guy name Jason. But he evenutally heard from Andrew that Serena has a new Boyfriend that she been for almost a year now. The scouts finally meet Rini when she was attack by the Youma and they found out that she’s from the future she come to the past to ask some help to save her mother. Who was put into a sleep spell. All the inner scouts went to the future leaving the past unprotected if it weren’t for Supreme Sailor Moon and Jason who was wearing a disguised to hide his identity. Doom Phantom attack the past after all the inner scouts and Tuxedo Mask went to the future but he end up facing both Jason and Supreme Sailor Moon.

I manged to convince my mortal parents to allow me to study aboard instead of staying in Japan so after the school year end I’ll be moving to San Fransico with Jason since I know the scouts can handel their own and if not the outer scouts will wake soon, but I felt something wrong with the bond I had with Hotaru, so I went and check on her the rebornself of my younger half sister Hotaru who also happen to be Sailor Saturn.

Hotaru’s body is being possessed by an Alien invaders that’s from outside our Galaxy. So I destroy the Alien that took possesed of Hotaru’s body and heal everything that happen to her after the Alien has been purge out of her body when I heal my sister she has reverted back into a baby before her growth acceloreted and Return to her proper age which happen to be the same age as them 16 years old.

Hotaru’s memories of her past life and powers as a child of Hades are restore once again. She accompanying both Jason and myself when we left Japan. Since I maybe her older half-sister in our past life, but I’m still her princess that she serve. And Technically I’m leaving Japan without one of my scouts so she decided to come with me.

Beside Hotaru has never been close yo any of the other scouts being the scout of Death and rebirth, so she has always been misunderstood the only one who ever understand and accept her was myself.

Our father Hades felt my awaking and gaved Hotaru a Celestial Bronze Glaive. Identical to her chosen weapon as Sailor Saturn. And Stygian Iron kanata when it’s not being use it’s a charm bracelet.

When the Inner scouts return to their timeline, It was already the end of the year and Serena & Jason and Hotaru already pack all their things and book a flight to San Fransico so the 3 of them would be going to Camp Jupiter.

Leo Valdez is slready at Camp Jupiter after Jason left camp half-blood atbout 1 and 1/2 ago. Thdt he would unlikely return to camp half blood, he most likely wouldn’t want to see Piper for a couple years unless he dose something he’ll regret.

I meet Horaru the Daughter of Hades through Jason and they become friends. The longer they get to know one another the more they fall in love with one another. Like Jason and his new girlfriend Serena who is yhe reborn daughter of Hades and Hotaru’s older half sister.

Sailor Pluto was confused as to why Sailor Moon wasn’t with the inner scouts when they came to the future, but she thought nothing of it. And perhaps if she has aak where Sailor Moon was. And she wouldn’t be watching the future she so cherish dearly crumble to the grown until it’s nothing. And a new future has began to form, until Hades, Zeus, and Poseidon the 3 Eldest Gods hidden the newly forming Future from her sight.

She dosrn’t know what’s happening, but one thing she is sirten Crystal Tokyo will never come to pass, if princess Serenity never married the Prince of Earth but thatcshould be impossible Princess Serenity loves the Prince dearly, their must be another reason why Crystal Tokyo crumble yo the grown and a new future forming as we speak. I believe the answered layied in the past. I would investage if I could but I’m forbbiden from leave the Gate unprotected. So I can’t do anything but watch.

3 years later...

The outers scouts Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune are awaken to help the inner scouts fight tge Youma. And now their Princess is no where in Japan they don’t even know her exact location. All the scouts are now 18 years old and Darien is now 21 years old who recently graduated Harver before returning to Japan.

Jason Grace ask his long time girlfriend Serena Tsukino daughter of Hades if she would give him the honor of becoming my wife and she said “yes” for a minute Ibthought that I was proposing to early to Serena, but I am proven wrong.

Piper Mclean Haven’t seen Jason after she end up cheating on him with a random son of Hermes, a few months after the Giant war ended. He left Camp Half Blood and took a break away from the life of a Dekigod for a whole year and half before he moved back to Camp Jupitet, I knew this because Leo move to Camp Jupiter a year after Jason left Cof camp Half-Blood. I would have gone to Camp Jupiter to talk to him, but I don’t think he would want to see me after I cheated on him.

When Thalia Grace found out that Piper Mclean cheated on her brother she attack her at camp yelling many sort of name to call Piper like “Slut, Whore and other stuff. And Even Artemis the goddess of the Hunt and Maidenhood look shock that a Maiden is capable of cheating on a male.

Leo Valdez decided to visit his galf siblings in Camp Half-blood along side his girlfriend Hotaru the daughter of Hades. Whilevshe never went active like the other scouts in japan but she is in the same level as Serena currently is. She’s in supreme Sailor Saturn transformation.

While Leo is in camp half-blood Piper ask about Jason.

Serena gaved birth to her forst child Hikari Serenity Geace who look identical to her mother except she has her father’s dirty blonde hair.

And aftet Hikari was born Hotaruvand Leo gotten married infront of all friends and family like Jason and Serena’s wedding.

On May 5, 1992

Hotaru gaved birth to her girst daughter Hilda Lilana Valdez who look like her own mother but with her father’s brown hsir.

Hikari Serenity Grace was 2 years old by then.

14 years old...

Hikari Serenity Grace is now 16 years old and

Hilda Lilana Valdez is now 14 years old and they both decided to see Washington since their monster scent are being hiden by the earing that Leo Valdez created years ago when their parents decided to live in the normal world, beside we graduate College early since we are super smart.

Hikari and Hilda still accpted them after finding out what they are. It wasn’t long after that both Paul and Seth manged to catch up with the red hair leech Victoria and dispost of her.

The elder gaved that wolf pack (which consisted of Sam Uley, Jared Camron, Embry Call, Quil Ateara, Jake Black, Leah Clearwater, Seth Clearwater,and Paul Lahote) permission to leave their tribe land, if they all want. Both Seth and Paul took it since their has been any Leech in sight of Washington and moved to San Fransico were they meet their girlfriend’s parents.

Jason and Serenity Grace still look very young like they are still in their early 20s when they are are already in their 34 years old. The same could be said with Hotaru and Leo Valdez.

Seth and Paul found out that their imprint’s mothers are reborn souls from 1000 years ago. A princess of their own Planet, but Hilda’s mother Hotaru might be the younger half sister of Hikari’s own mother Serenity, but she is still one of her soliders since the Galaxy’s kingdoms were ruled by the Kingdom of the Moon which Serenity Grace is the Crown Princess.

Demian - Herman Hesse

So...the next book abandoned on my shelf was Demian. Started it last year but was so distracted as to get into the book.

Seems this quarantine is making miracles. Hopefully, medical areas will be next in line. If you can’t share your miracle, then it is not worth it.

Demian is about finding yourself. But not in the Siddartha kind of way. No.

Demian is a little more complicated than that.

*Spoiler alert, BEWARE!!!!

The main character is a boy named Emil Sinclair. This boy is tormented because what he trully seems to know is way too small as to actually be the world. Sinclair explains at the very beginning he thinks the world is divided into two kinds: the good and the bad. As for many children, the good side implies your house, your parents, your family,you. Th bad side is everything that is out of your reach and outside home.

When time passes, Sinclair realizes the bad world is too near, too dangerous, and too attarcting. And so, he sucumbs to it. After it, everything seems to go down. He feels he no longer belongs to the good side of the world, from where he came. And with this feeling, he makes no effort to come out of the bad world. Until he meets Demian. Max Demian. He will teach Sinclair everything he needs to know so that the world is two parts together, not opposites.

What I liked most of the book is this duality. The truth is, I even thought of the egyptian culture and could do nothing more than applaude at Hesse. Duality was meant in this culture as a balance,as a complement of one another. And we can see duality through the whole book:

1. When Sinclair talks about two sides of the world that combine but do not bond. The good and the bad.

2. When Sinclair meets Demian. I believe we can see the ignorance, the inocence against the knowldge. And the power that comes with that knowledge.

3. When Sinclair is no longer satisfied with what was imposed on him. It is security after curiosity. Th known and the unknown.

4. When Sinclair sees his father as somebody else, someone he can challenge. It is dependence against independence.

5. When Sinclair starts drinking and seeking company. It is the unconscious against the conciousness. Also, it is about solitude and company. It is not until Demian reapears in sInclair’s life that this boy understands what he is doing wrong.

6. When Sinclair chooses what he wants his path to follow. He meets an amazing gentleman who shows him the opposites are more to each other than just opposites. But it gets to the time were this lectures are not enough, when you understand you must be on your own. It is the liberty of speech, the freedom, against the comunity of thinkers.

7. When Sinclair finds his true love: Eva. It is men against women. Physical love against metaphisical love. The most dificult to understand, because it is when Sinclair finds out who he really is.What he is made of. Both men and women.

8. When Sinclair decides to go fight the war. It is peace against war. It is defending what you belive against silence and the anonimacy. Sinclair has to decide what he was meant to do in his life. Even if it was not worth it.

Other thing I just loved, is the presence of Demian in Sinclair’s life. Demian arrives when Sinclair is lost, in dispair. Demain seems to be, through the book, and in my humble opinion, part of Sinclair. It is that part of him that refuses to be like everyone else, the one that refuses to remain silent. The part of him that wants to live withput the decision of killing the remaining parts of Sinclair. He is the expression of duality and it’s harmony in perfection.

Demian is a masterpiece. Seen only by those who are open to this dual idea. It is amazing to see what is out there without stoping to look for yourself. We are part of the world. We have to understand it in order to understand ourselves. An oriental way of thinking. An amazing point of view.

Askeladd and Björn

I love Björn, I liked his final moment and this beautiful somewhat murderous friendship between him and Askeladd. When I first met him, I thought he was a brute and I wouldn’t particularly like or care for him. But over time, although just as brute-ish and brutal as I had expected, he reall grew on me. Last episode when Askeladd mentioned that he wouldn’t make it, I was really sad. Now, well... I guess, that’s it. I really liked how he went out. He wanted to die with his sword in his hand. He also chose his last moments to ... essentially tell the most important person in his life, that he just wanted to be friends, no matter how much Askeladd hated him.

Saying that Askeladd probably even hates himself seems very true. I mean this man always has to introduce himself as ‘My name is Askeladd’ (which I found out just yesterday wasn’t even a real name) ‘Son of ... my mother’s slaver’... Argh that has to hurt. And he hates the Danes, but is one himself...

Björn really understood him, and I love it that in his final moments Askeladd admitted that after everything he in fact was his best and only friend. But it is very sad.

Up until then this episode went amazing for Askeladd. His schemes are paying off, he gains more and more influence, his plans seem to have plans of their own and everything works out. This - losing his friend - wasn’t much of a surprise to anybody, but still it might be a sign that his luck is turning. The only people around him now either don’t care about him, only use him for political schemes or just outright hate him. ... Looking at you Thorfinn. (Though I think Knut might still hate him too, he just doesn’t show it)

So Thorfinn finally gets his... I assume final match against Askeladd. With all the build up to it, I think this has to be it. I’m still somewhat in denial... Like... tbh. after everything they went through together, I know Thorfinn hates him, has every reason to hate him and Askeladd didn’t try very hard... if at all to, you know, try and placate him - which probably wouldn’t have worked anyway... but after everything I don’t want Thorfinn to kill him.

I somewhat expect Askeladd to lose this fight. He is injured, he is getting old, meanwhile Thorfinn - while injured - seems to be stronger than ever having just defeated Thorkell (if only with a bit of conniving Askeladd as support)... It looks bad. It also looks like it’s gonna be the final fight... and I still don’t want him to die that way.

I don’t really expect him to survive this season, because he just collects too many powerful enemies with too few friends (basically none at this point - Björn!) and too much going right for him at the moment. We had talks about ‘his luck turning’ like five episodes ago... and so far it didn’t. There were a lot of death flags throughout the show... So I’m just waiting for it to happen. But I still DON’T WANT HIM TO BE KILLED BY THORFINN!! Screw you, Thorfinn! It just seems unfair for him to die before the big finale... I mean just in general, after all the teasing of Thorfinn being the only one allowed to kill Askeladd, wouldn’t it be way better if he didn’t ultimately? (That’s me just being hopeful.)

Anyway talking about Thorfinn... Before the thing with Björn happened, I thought him meeting Leif was my highlight of the episode. I really like Leif. He’s such a nice guy trying so hard to find Thorfinn. I felt really happy for him when he saw Thorfinn. And then really sad that he had to see Thorfinn like that. Not even asking for his mother and sister. They finally meet after 11 years... And I think Leif has imagined and expected the worst. He was constantly looking for slaves that look like Thorfinn. He might have been very happy at first, not just that he had found him, but that he seems free and strong and doing his own shit - even if that shit is ‘killing people’... but then I think seeing Thorfinn in such a dark state of mind in a way might have been worse than finding out he had died... I’m not sure... but I think it’s a very conflicting and dificult situation for Leif.

So ... that was Episode 21. I will watch 22 right now... also... realized I really like this new intro. At first I really liked the visuals not so much the song... Now, I love this song. Normally, I skip intros after hearing them once or twice, this one I just enjoy.

Also ... just realized that I don’t really know... is it Björn or Bjorn? I’m watching german subs, so he’s called Björn there. But the hashtag says bjorn... so which is it? Just checked with the Vinland Saga Wikia and they don’t seem to be sure either.

do you have any personal, headcanons for your boys? stuff that just make sense to you and would never change?

Hmm, gotta think on that one...okay here we go.

UtSans: Sans isn't the angsty human hating gremlin that he's usually made out to be upon surfacing. He's weary for sure, considering he remembers the resets and fighting a possessed Frisk in the genocode run. However, I just don't see there being hundreds of resets. Neither Frisk or Chara were inherently bad to begin with, Chara lashed out in despare and anger. Also, Frisk and Chara are children, I don't believe that a child could complete that many murdurs over and over again. They ended on a pacifist run so there is that good in them that Paps knew they had. Even one complete genocide of his people would be enough to induce nightmares in Sans not to mention no one being able to remember the resets like he does. So I see him as careful and slow to trust, but not totally closed off and jaded.

UtPapyrus: Paps was sheltered by his brother underground, but he is by no means ignorant. Once they surfaced, he took on his roll of monster mascot pretty seriously. As he worked with the Royal family and world leaders he just absorbed information like a sponge which lead to his interest in becoming a lawyer, though he felt guilty about it at first because he felt he would be abandoning his dream of being in the royal guard. It wasnt until both his brother and roommate (read) pushed him to start school.

Red: Is deep down a family man. Even after the huge fight with his brother when he left to join the guard, Red would follow him around secretly to make sure he was safe on all of his missions, Edge was most of the time more than capable without him, but he always felt better lurking in the background just in case. It really didn't matter what happened, he would help out behind the scenes to make sure his little bro made it home be it threats, bribes, or sex. He hasn't talked to Edge about it yet as the years of biting words and beatings don't just fade now that they are on the surface.

Edge: Edge wholeheartedly believes that he had to force Sans away from him in order to be the walking terror that he eventually became as lieutenant of the royal guard. At first it was dificult to demean and publicly dominate his brother, but, as it is when you pretend long enough, it became second nature. The original goal of keeping his 1hp brother alive was attained once Red was collared and he was ranked. It doesn't always make him feel good about how he had to achieve that, but he will rationalize it away as 'nessecary evils' and all that.

Blue: Is largely percieved as the most naive skeleton but he is like all of the other Sanses in the way that he is a fantastic actor. As the older brother, he did spend most of his younger years providing for and raising Stretch. As a teen raising a kid, he adopted his cheery energetic facade to encourage his quiet and thoughtful sibling. Once they were both adults and he felt he could go and pursue his dream of joining the royal guard, he kept up the act for both Captain Alphys ( his energy is what made her agree to train him afterall) and Stretch, who seemed to sink into a depression days before Chara broke the barrier.

Stretch: Like Sans, Stretch wasn't subjected to hundreds of resets. However he has the emotional sensitivity of a Papyrus so they affected him harder. It's hard for him as he has the dreams being acomplished like a Papyri, but none of the motivation paired with bordering nihilisic views of a Sans.

Black: Used his acting skills along with his talent in battle to work his way through the ranks of the royal guard. He knows that his success is in part due to his agreement with his brother. Unlike the fell brothers. Mutt followed Black into the guard and served as his loyal attack dog. The two of them are a fierce pair to behold in battle. Black does assert himelf as above his lowly mutt in public, issuing beatings and orders freely and often. But he always held back and made sure he didnt actually hurt his baby brother too much. Home was always the safe place to debrief and keep a relatively intact relationship with Mutt afloat.

Mutt: It was actually Mutt's idea to be collared by his brother. Claiming that it would really drive home the attack dog point and solidify the fact that even if Sans wasn't around him, no one could openly defy Snowdin's tiny tyrant. He almost started to enjoy being the underground's hell hound by the time the barrier was brought down. What wasn't to like, he didnt really have to think for himself as he was always given orders to just follow, plus his reputation let him slack off more often in safety than he would have otherwise.

Day 2: Your best memory from this year, so far

Morning morning! Today's article is about memories... well, ironically it is being dificult for me to choose from, for I have many positive memories since day one so far (even tho I still made stupid decisions this year, and the fact that I was still struggling with some issues of my own). Anyhow... let's get to it.

The first thing that came to my mind when I read the theme for this article was the day I found out my best friend has been promoted at her job. When I first started as a cashier back in september 2021, she was already working in there since may.. and she was the sweetest since my first day over there. The nicest woman I have ever known! I love her to death! I would do anything for her! I mean... who doesn't love that woman? She is love embodied, that woman is good to the bone. It took her a long time to finally earn the recognition she deserve but finally she got it! I'm not sure when, precisely, she was promoted. If it was back in january or in the end of 2023... so.. I'm pretty sure my memory's falling me somehow. I get the feeling that I will be dishonest to use a memory from the end of 2023, but I'm confused. I can't remember the date. I'm pretty sure it was end of 23, start of 24........ BUT one thing I'm sure of: How happy I was and still am for her, and that's pretty much what matters to me. To me, personally, it doesn't matter the date, what does matter is her promotion. I love her! And by far, to me, it was the best piece of news I could have received from someone.

This article, the way I'm writing it, what I just wrote, doesn't seem to make sense to me and yet I won't edit it. I prefer to stay true to myself, adhd and all... And besides: seing someone I love being happy is so important to me, to the point of keeping such moments with me, and having it as sweet memories . That will never change about me: My friends, family's happiness is my happiness too. Well, if I love you I will always be happy for you and your accomplishments, why wouldn't I!? That's what love's all about. My life was such a frigging mess when she told me that: I had just quit my job and was looking for a diferent kind of oportunity to develop my skills, my mom and I were fighting non-stop, my anxiety attacs were coming back, and yet, thank God, I found a way to be happy for her. Once you stop being happy for people, speacially for the ones you love, you start getting bitter and life get's harder, sad, and bitter as well. And plus: being happy for the ones that you love makes you a better friend, son/daughter, brother/sister, boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife and so on.. It's a proof of our love as well. This article's not about being there when it's good, but it's about being there when it's good and enjoying it with them, without taking something from them. That's an hability people are losing, unfortunatelly. People nowadays prefer to be with you as long as the relationship's benefitial for them, they want to feel the joy once you're all having a good time, and take whatever they want from you. They remain as long as things are flowing and you're all partaking in good times, but once the rolercoaster (life) start going down, they're gone. And that's why I appreciate her friendship and cherish it so much to the point of choosing a moment she felt she was being fulfilled professionally as a good memory to share. She has always been there not only for me but for anyone and everyone without exception.. of course she deserves an article about her. She's genuine, sweet, funny, honest, forgiving, true to herself and everyone around her to the point of being careless about what she says but... we all love her for that. We know she does it out of a good place, she gets to the point of being naïve. So carismatic, loving, lovable, positive, a gift from God to human kind, indeed! So many good words to describe her! We used to say we're both "the same coin, but each of us represents a diferent side to it": She's the carismatic, funny, sweet side of it, and I'm the grumpy, crancky one. I learned a lot from her, and keep on learning to this day still ♥ She's the kind of woman that competes with no one: she works hard to build women up. She motivates everyone by helping increasing their self esteem... like I said: She's amazing! Well... you don't need a crown to be a queen. She's certainly one; she acts like one and deserve such compliment.

That's all for today. I'm glad I took the time to put an effort to spread her light, even though I can't get even close to 2% of that! You can't explain the light. You just feel it, and you must. If you're around someone like her you know what I'm talking about. She's ethereal... you can't describe, just feel it. People like her can light up the world. Like Mia Farrow once described Sharon Tate, I can describe this dear friend of mine: She brings oxigen to the room. And if there were more people like her on the world, I can guarantee you it would be a better place, a lot diferent from what it is.

We must learn from her: her love for people, animals.. life itself, her light. Shall we?

Trust me, once you read it all you’ll feel better regarding the club’s situation or the mercato.

When did you feel that some big changes in the organisation would be needed ?

The idea didn't come during a precise day. The reflexion has matured in my head little by little and finally imposed itself. If we want to keep growing up we need changes. I asked myself quite a few questions including, of course, after our elimination against Manchester "What did we lack of ?", "Why can we not reach the next level in Europe ? "What do we have to quickly modify ?" I came to the conclusion that changes were essential otherwise we wouldn't go anywhere. It was time to change. Every club, at a certain point, needs a new impulse.

A new impulse to change what, precisely ?

We needed something new especially because we cannot count on such talents in the team and stop 3 years in a row in the Round of 16 of the Champions League. We are not doing a revolution. But after the trauma of Manchester we needed an electrochoc to get over it and especially to avoid facing another humiliation like that. In front of Manchester something broke. And in this situation it is useless to repare it. It's too fragile. We better change it.

Which thing "broke" exactly during this elimination ?

The outcome of this game has revealed a few of our weaknesses in terms of implication, motivation, players' mentality. In fact, all of this does not create a postive atmosphere to reach the top all together. We all have dreams, especially the one that is to reach, one day, this Champions League. But we all have to give oneself the means and desire it harder than the other side does. However, against Manchester, I am convinced that we were not those who wanted the most the qualification. Were we ready, especially mentally ? I doubt it.

Have you been forced to make those changes or where they your initiative ?

This is my decision. You know, I've been in this profession for a while and I am now starting to have a certain experience. Those tiny details who make the difference, I've identified them. I am repeating myself but against Manchester I got the confirmation that we were having obvious lacks especially in terms of rigor. I didn't feel a champions mentality during those days.

Does this elimination against Manchester constitute your biggest deception since you arrived here in 2011 ?

The defeats are all very dificult to accept. In the league, during the final of the Coupe de France... every time I live very very badly all of these defeats because I love this club. It's my passion. But it's true that this elimination was a true choc because the Champions League remains not my dream but my goal. Of course, to reach the top of this competition you also need luck. And this time we cannot say that we had a lot of luck with this last seconds penalty. Without this penalty we wouldn't be here explaining the reasons of such a big interseason change. Because this season was also full of great performances. We've sell billions of kits all across the world which probably places us in the European top 5. We cannot underestimate our 8th France Champion's tittle. Contrary to what is said we are very attached to the national tittles.

Nevertheless. What is the principal difference between PSG and Liverpool, the European champion whose workforce isn't fundamentally richer than PSG's one ?

PSG wasn't inferior to Liverpool. That's why we've beaten them once and lost against them once at the last minute. But in the end they are the champions of Europe and not PSG. They have this winner culture that we don't always have.

This is the proof that it's not always a matter of luck…

Of course. Liverpool was already in the final during the previous season. To reach this level you need a continuity. We don't have it at this level. We also need a special mentality that we don't especially have, we need to admit it. This winner mentality you need to show it during every game, every time, whatever the competition is. We need to face these games with the same strength. This season we noticed that it wasn't always the case. And this has to change ! It's not only the matter of a few players but of the whole team and the whole staff. I need fighting spirit in every game

This lack of personality, whose fault is it ?

We all lacked of personality and authority. Me first, I admit it. I do not want to flee from my responsabilities. I am the first one who's guilty. I don't want to hide nor to put the fault on others, the players or the staff. If it didn't work this season it's my fault first. But it is going to change

How ?

One of the missions confied to Leo (Leonardo) is precisely to make the mentalities change. Together, I want us to turn this club into a true winner club. I believe in 100% in his capacity to make us reach the top with more personality and authority. Everyone was waiting for this rigor : me, the players, the staff, supporters and even the medias. I am not saying that it is going to be easy but we can do it. He will have all the sportive powers in his hand to succeed. We don't have the choice anyway : we needed those changes.

What did you ask from him in priority ?

He knows what he has to do and how to achieve it because he started this project with us. He isn't coming from nowhere. He knows PSG. He knows its strengths and its weaknesses. We'll gain a lot of time thanks to this.

Did you remain in contact after him leaving in 2013 ?

Of course. Leo, he's my guy. He's incredible. I have an absolute trust in him. He has the temper, the personality, the experience, the strength of persuasion to succeed. I don't know anyone in the football world who meets all of these qualities beside him. His natural authority will do a lot of good for everyone, especially for the players.

If he has so many qualities why did you not try to keep him six years ago ?

To be honest I didn't want him to leave. But everyone knows why he left. He didn't like how it went with the instances.*

(traduction note : long story short story, Leonardo got into an argument with a ref, pushed him and got a 1 year interdiction of bench + I don't remember exactly how many time of interdiction to work as a SD. He did an appeal but he left PSG anyway after this incident. The appeal gave him reason and canceled the sentence a year after the incident but he did not come back after that.)

Was it difficult to convince him ?

This duo will be a great strength for PSG because they are complementary, I am sure of it. Leo will be behind the coach and the players in order to convey his mentality and also to verify that everyone is going in the same direction. He'll also be there to see if the rules are being respected, that individual behaviours won't parasitize the group. He will be very protective but also uncompromising if anything bad happens. If a players commits a fault he won't fall into feelings and will make him understand that the club is well above him.

The good life is finished at PSG ?

Players will have to assume their responsabilities more than before. Everything needs to be different. They'll have the duty to do more, to work more. From the first training to the last game of the season. That's how a big club is. I want players proud to wear our kit, not players who do the job only when they feel like it. I don't want to put all the players in the same basket. There are a lot of good guys in the talentful group. But some have shown a lack of exemplarity. Of course, I won't give you any name. I just want to pass this message : it won't be possible to work like they used to.

His (Leo) first mission won't be to chase some sufficient attitudes ? Has Ligue 1 become to easy for PSG ?

I assure you that all I want is the most competitive concurrence in France. It is extremely important to me. The more we will be to battle for the tittle the strongest PSG will become. I am sure of it. But if we can win 6 or 7-0 we'll take it as well. That's how the biggests are made of, we respect the weakests and we refuse easiness. I want all of my players to have this mentality, this will to win everything, to score the most goals. I understand that it can be hard to remotivate yourself after that before or after a Champions League game. But it's the same thing for La Liga, Premier League or Bundesliga. If some can do it, why not us ?

Does Ligue 1 deserve PSG ?

(he smiles) I won't answer this question. All I can say is that the Ligue isn't helping us a lot. When Ajax needed to postpone a game to prepare a Champions League game they agreed without any problem. And it didn't choc anyone. Here, it immediately takes the form of a priviledge. Yet we are the ambassadors of France and Ligue 1, no ? We have a French flag on our kits no matter where we go. We are the French team as well. But I feel like a lot of people forget this. When we make a new kit I always insist so we can have the French flag on it. It's natural because we represent France. And I'm proud of it. But once we come back home, what do we get ?

The "remontada generation", those who have known the two terrible desillusions, are they called to leave the place for players free of this mental weight ?

To make him sign with us has been our best decision of the past few years : he is French, he is from Paris, he has a great mentality. I want to be there when he will win his first Ballon d'Or, and the next ones. Because I'm sure he will win a lot of them. To stay, Mbappé wants to be sure that he'll evolve in a team well-armed enough to win the Champions League.

Did you promise him this ?

I know what he wants. We want the same thing. We will have this competitive team. We are not starting with a blank page because we already have a lot of extraordinary players. This season we already had a team good enough to go far in the Champions League. We need to stop giving excuses. I loath those who want to flee from their responsabilities. No, not particularily. I think of those who forget to make their own auto-critic.

The second star, Neymar, has lost half of his season again because of a injury, then this scabrous story with this Brasilian girl, then another injury... These repetitive discrepancies and failures aren't the symbol of the complacency you want gone ? Did you manage to talk to him these days ?

(with a dark gaze) I didn't talk to him directly but I talked to his father. I told him again what I am now wanting from PSG players.

Are you still sure that Neymar will be the one to take PSG to the next level ?

I repeat : I want players who are ready to give everything they have to defend the honor of our kit and be part of the club's projet. Those who don't want to do so or don't understand, we see each other and we talk. There are, of course, contracts to respect. But the priority is not the total adhesion to our projet.

Do you still need to be convinced that Neymar want get totally involved with PSG ?

It will take time but I'm still sure that we will do it one day. We are a young club compared to Real or Bercelona. They are centenary clubs who managed to build a winner culture throughout time. We are learning in a faster way even if we ill remember the beautiful period of PSG in the 90'. We need to make up with this delay. We will have the players to succeed next season. With a different mentality.

Are you convinced that the 2019-20 PSG will be stronger than the 2018-19 PSG ? Of course yes ! That's our goal. If not, we better all leave now and only come back at the beginning of the next season. Next season we will be stronger and more united.
