I drew mer-legend, now here's Faerule in a bottle!! :D

I struggled with the lighting of this drawing so so much - ultimately the only reason it turned out as good as it did is thanks to my friends who were willing to play along with my bullshit in the middle of the night and help me actually make it look good. So much bs went into making this. So much bs. (As in, I was the one bs-ing.)

But hey it looks good so shhh

I'm still taking suggestions for what other mythical creatures I should draw the boys as (because I still only have ideas for a couple of them, not all), so if you have a thing where you're like "Oh I've aways imagined Wind as like, a phantom or something idk," and you're willing to share, I'd greatly appreciate!! (The only characters I have ideas for rn are Twi, Time, and ofc the Ravio sketch I posted a couple days ago.)

Oh also!! The little cheek thingies and antennae I took from @grooviestsadpapaya 's sketch of triple threat because I love it so much, and also that's what kick-started my inspiration to draw this one in the first place.

What mythical creature do you think Ravio would be? (This is in response to your Ravio request.) I did Legend as a mer, currently in the process of drawing Faerule in a bottle - and I have a couple ideas for other mythical creatures for the other LU boys, but no ideas for Ravio so far. I will definitely draw Ravio!! He's adorable and I love him. But uh... yeah, what mythical creature do you think Ravio would b?

Cervitaur!!!!! It's quite the opposite from a mer, rather than doing Ravio is a sea bunny which is what I see often.

Legend likes to joke that Ravio is built for running away with those long, thin legs, but he's only teasing. Ravio can stand and fight if needed and holds his own!

There's so many design options...doe he have a robe/blanket? pack bags for all his items? Is his fur normal colored or a shade of purple/blue? What about his spots?

If Legend is a mer who can breath out of water, does Ravio give him a (gentle) ride out of the water? Or maybe swim in the water and let Legend hang onto him while sitting on his back?

Oh boy lots of stuff today---

I was breaking in a new tablet (i need to get a nib saver. i dislike how gritty it is--)

So:

Joke from a line I said in stream about Eclipse invading other’s aus (specifically my current hyperfixation on @doodleimprovement‘s victorain au because it’s fun to draw the outfits) Gin joked about the rabbit yeeting eclipse around

A scene from my “Howling Castles” Au since I finally figured the direction I want to go with it (Originally i was almost copying the movie scene for scene but I finally dropped that and am kinda stealing certain scenes from the film but takes a lot of other turns) Marcus take’s Hin’s spot and no one can hear him but Eclipse

Speaking of Hyperfixation on the Victorian Au--- Eclipse helping the Lord of the manor with his coat. yes she’s looking a little more human ;3c (Did I come up with a whole damn alt lore for her? YEA)

More Victorian AU- Eclipse can handle highly toxic plants without issue due to her fae nature, after an incident where she was caught playing with moonjumpers she has to be careful to not upset Lukas if she wants to keep playing with the girls. She goes to Nell to figure which plants she can safely bring near the girls. As Payment Eclipse gathers plants for Nell.

(Lord Lukas and nell and the Victorian au belong to @doodleimprovement!!!!)

A literal Scene from Fae rules near the end. Local prince gets yeeted by young demi god. (or as i said in chat; Young demon king bribed to cock block twink prince per the desire of the gods) She’s having a bit too much fun--

Next three are from a spin off to Gin’s new AU (not a ruclipse au; they just show up to make trouble for the main couple) Ru is a runaway vampire prince and Eclipse is her perfect blood mate. The two are dating and are friends with the main couple and it’s troublesome because Eclipse ruins his whole ‘invisible demon’ thing as she can see spirits and demons (she’s human)

@gintrinsic-writing is phenomenal. A gem. I love all of it, but check the tags to find ones you're comfortable with. AO3 Blood Like Yours is my personal favorite, and the sequel Like Fire in Your Veins by @pocketramblr are both about Hyrule's Blood Curse from Adventures of Link. M for Violence for most of them, but check tags to be sure. If you like it, consider also...

Protector of the Golden Power by Sillus Hyrule centric but he has a different secret.

@somer-writes has a lot of great short one shots, some darker than others. My personal favorite is a sort of character study of the boys at their lowest and how they recover called "Depletion"

For a Sliver of Sunlight by tirsynni: Warrior's dedication to his brothers makes him question his title as Hero.

His parents are so well written, and Abel makes appearances in LU-related/adjacent fics, The Many Misadventures of Dad Squad and Dad Squad AU by Nancyheart, Silver_Captain82403, Skye_the_Lofty_Nutcase

which is part crack and part angst, mostly lighthearted.

Don't Worry Man, I'm from the Yiga Clan: Link makes a Yiga friend due to being a delightful chaos gremlin.

Feature MCD... but might be worth it:

And Still the Cradle Blooms by Solistrix: GORGEOUS literary masterpiece. The writing is unreal. It's descriptions and emotions are incredible. This is more like finding the meaning in eventual death, so of the three here I suspect you'll like this one best as far as not being too hurt by the character's mentioned end.

This is an Adjuration: I'll be real, this is full of action and excitement but yes, it has MCD and is making me cry, but it's also REEEEAAALLY good!

Blood Drops on Roses by HotCheetohatred Fantastic storytelling! Wild centric, Twi is big brother but from day one of Wild's journey. Unreliable young Wild as narrator is an absolute delight. Unfinished, no MCD yet, but it's in the tags so no promises.

You suggested Cervitaur Ravio - and since I didn't really have the motivation to finish my Faerule in a bottle drawing, here he is!! As just a sketch right now of course. (and I'm sure there's something wrong with it rn that I'll fix later)
