obviously he takes this the wrong way.. you first notice his affection for you ( it was quite obvious. ) after he continuously mentions this "friend" in his streams and posts, speaking so fondly. to say that it didn't make your heart flutter, would be a lie. you felt a bit honored, disgusted with yourself for feeling such a way - he was a suffocating person - smothering you in his popularity and trying to make you jealous, but how could you be if you were his friend he "spoke fondly" ofㅡ? you wouldnt know how to deal with that if he was your lover. embarrassingly enough, the thought does come up multiple times throughout your mind..

you can't help it. those thoughts, they intrude on your normal train of thought like a disgusting plague... you were one of his top supporters, not donor, as he did stream playing dating sims and the like... he'd gloat, definitely meaning to, telling you about all the weird shit they'd say about / to himㅡand he was totally imagining it was you telling him all that stuff.. wondering just how lewd you are, fingering himself to the thought of you watching in a dark corner of his room.,, weirdo. ( <- spoekn with love...... )

you try to open yourself up, making more friends to hangout with after noticing that he took up all of your time. when did that happen? what happened to all your other friends before him? you wonder, but not wanting to relight those candles... it would be awkward, having left them for one guy without even knowing it yourself..

"did i do something wrong?" he'd corner you at your apartment, pouting, eyes glazed over with tears of anguish - his face scrunched as if he were about to break out into sobs. "no... i just made new friends so i'm not spending that much time with you as i used to." you speak slowly, as if he were an idiot - his face darkening with an embarrassed flush; heart palpitating faster as he promptly closes his mouth from continuing. why did you sound so... hot? argh, you always sound hot, but... whatever, he already knew that he was crushing hard on you - he has the preserved cumrags, bottles with a printed picture of you inside to prove it...

after that, he would take the time off posting so much, a hiatus, and would begin focusing on his one-sided relationship with you... trying to lure you away from your new friends, quite easily and you have no idea how he does it - a manipulative bastard in a way as he begins to get a little too comfortable with touching on you without your consent, he doesnt listen anyway - pulling the "cute guy who can't get punched" card;; asking you questions if he wasn't enough for you. it wouldn't work out, as you would often ignore his stupid queries. it was draining.. but.. you realize, that maybe you were just jealous? your cute friend posting himself for everyone else to ogle at, even if they didn't know what his face looked like. you weren't the disgusting one here, he was. they were only thoughts - nothing you were going to act on. rather, he would act on them for you.

Yan!Femboy who you met working at a cafe, you were honestly confused when you first saw him, you thought he was a woman before he spoke, asking you for your order. His body was quite feminine, it was not helping that he was wearing a dress, but his voice was low.

Yan!Femboy who likes chatting with you when taking your order, being quite friendly as he worked, when bidding you goodbye he hoped you would come back. He always hoped costumers would come back, he absolutely enjoyed having 'regular's.

Yan!Femboy who gets absolutely giddy when he sees you sat in the same place you were the day before, strutting up to you happily and taking your order, taking note that you ordered the same thing that you had ordered yesterday.

Yan!Femboy who you continue this cycle with almost every day for the next few months. One day you see him off work, dressed in a short pink skirt and a beige turtleneck, his hair done up in a messy bun and tied with a ribbon. His small height was boosted by the two-inch platforms he wore. He was quite giddy to see you it public, giving you a friendly hug before engaging in conversation. He tells you that you both should definitely meet outside of the cafe more!

Yan!Femboy who gives you his number and sends you good night and good morning messages, sending you random cat gifs throughout the day, as well as random fit checks. He had grown to love talking to you, staring at your messages for hours on end until you texted him, where he would respond almost immediately.

Yan!Femboy who finds himself trying to find clothes that would catch your eye, staring at himself in the mirror and imagining you loving up on him, praising him and your hands on him, giving him a little shiver at the thought.

Yan!Femboy who texts you one day, asking to go out and eat together, which you agree to! He gets dressed in some of his best clothing, feeling himself up and hyping himself up until you text him and tell him your waiting outside. His smile widens at the text and he would immediately rush outside and greet you before closing the door behind him and starting to walk with you to the restaurant.

Yan!Femboy who is just interested in your life, asking you about personal things like where you work, your birthday, your favorite color, are you single? Yan!Femboy who genuinely gets sad when you told him you're dating someone, his eyes moving to look out the window of the restaurant as you kept talking, oblivious to his silence. You tell him more about your partner, and send him a link to their Instagram so you both could get to know each other. When he went home that night, he tossed off his shoes, jumped on his bed and shoved his face into his pillow, screaming and crying, his eyeliner running down his face as his legs kicked in the air.

Yan!Femboy who ran out of tears a few hours later, staring up at the ceiling, his face still damp with tears and his phone resting on his chest. He hadn't responded to any of your texts you sent him yet, he couldn't without remembering he wasn't able to have you.

Yan!Femboy who gets an idea, he clicks on the link to your partners Instagram and scrolls around a bit. Okay, he could work with this. He friended them, and sent the first message, his plan was finally set in motion and he was willing to wait as long as he could to finally have you.

Yan!Femboy who became your partners bestest friend after a few months, you were quite happy to see your two favorite people enjoying each other's company. They told each other everything, he even went out to do stuff with them multiple times a week. Little did they know that every time the thought of them come up in his mind, he seethed with hatred.

Yan!Femboy who, after a year, told your best friend that you had been cheating on them, sending photoshopped evidence to them and asked them to keep quiet about where they got the information. They were obviously distraught and broke up as soon as they could with you in a screaming fit before kicking you out of their house, your stuff getting thrown out onto the sidewalk. You had gone to the only person you could think of, him.

Yan!Femboy who happily took you in and comforted you, telling you how bad of a partner they were for trusting an anonymous tip over you. How horrible of a person they were for throwing you out like that without listening to you. He gave you a tight squeeze and comforted you for the rest of that day.

Yan!Femboy who took advantage of your sad state of mind, getting closer and closer to you that you feel as if you start to fall in love with him. His cute little giggle, his scrunched up face when he's focused, the way he's always there and seems to know exactly what you need, he's perfect for you and you finally see that. Oh god, but what if he doesn't like you? What if he's just being friendly? You wished you had the courage to tell him how you feel, poor you.

My favorite Yandere Types

Author's note: I will spare you the sob story and just say that my uncle needed my help right after he got out the hospital. It wrecked my scheduling and I already promised that I would do better with posting more frequently, so I did another ramble post. These classifications aren't polished in any way. I just spouted whatever comes to mind. Enjoy!

Note #2: Sorry if the pic for Laidback Yan is blurry. I'll figure out how to do memes better next time. Also, all the yanderes listed are male yandere because that's my personal favorite.

Sugar Daddies

Kind of a "money comes at a price" thing I always love.

Pro: Spoils you.

Con: Thinks he owns your life.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the 'I'll isolate you' types. In fact, I think it'll be cooler to see a yandere use darling's loved ones to his advantage, such as "How desperate are you to get your sister into that art school?" and "It would be a shame if your brother doesn't have that dream job. I'm sure you'd do ANYTHING to make that happen if you could, right?"

Sadist/Psycho

He wakes up and chooses violence. Just an absolute menace to society. You'd have to make bad choices in your life to have him obsessed with you. I love this one, because writers can be very creative on how they act towards darling and towards the world. Typically their MO is "I wont hesitate to beat and shoot people. Not even you, darling! You just get it less."

Femboy/Otouto

My love for this is clearly inspired by Narancia (JJBA) and Bachira (Blue Lock). It's a guy who's naive, hyper, sweet, just so adorable that he'll have you thinking he's non-threatening. Then, the yanderu comes out and shows you just how dangerous and manipulative he can be. Also, he will get aggressive when you try slipping from him. I imagine this type always using overt guilt tripping.

Mr.Hades

Emo boy kidnaps a ball of sunshine to cure his lonely depression, such as Hades taking Persephone. There's not much else to say since this shipping dynamic (brooding x happy-go-lucky) is very popular.

Laidback

The laidback yandere that dont seem Yandere at all. He's super chill, actually gives you freedoms, and seems alright letting you socialize with people. What's the issue? Seems like a normal boyfriend! That's why I love them! So where does the Yanderu part comes in? In many different ways! Usually, in the form of a blackmailer or a tracker. It's easy to let you do what you want when you're never really that far from him or he has you fearing the consequence enough to trust you'll come back to him willingly. Honestly, I might do my own post on laidback yanderes.

you take the spider out of his dorm room and place it outside for him, grimacing all the while. (he isn't actually bothered by bugs- but he thinks it's hilarious that you would do this for him, even though you clearly are bothered. he loves that.)

you continue to baby him and do things for him, thinking all the while that you're just doing favors for a friend. you like to feel helpful, so at first, you're more than happy to do what he asks. little do you know, this starts to make his little crush on you snowball into a deep obsession.

he realizes just how deep he is after seeing you be nice and helping someone else . . . he'd never really paid any attention to that kind of thing before, but now? he can't stand the sight of you treating other people like him. why are you letting yourself get walked all over by trash like that? if it was him . . . well, he'd also do that to you, but he'd deserve it!

after a while, he stops asking other people for requests and favors completely. after knowing what it's like to be coddled by you? he's not taking any replacements.

he's always very touchy- he holds your hand, cuddles, you, hugs you, etc. all the time. he especially loves to lay his head in your lap. and when he starts to really get obsessed with you, this becomes a constant thing. he'll take any excuse to cling right to you.

he starts to use his innocent façade to his advantage, believing it helps him be fairly blatant with his problematic behavior without you getting too mad. he broke into your dorm room to sleep in your bed? that's just because he has nightmares :,( you can't be upset with him!

if you start saying no to him, making excuses for why you can't hang out with him, or push his arms away from a hug . . . he'll start crying, loudly, until you regret your decisions. he'll make himself out to be a victim- why are you being so distant, aren't you supposed to be his friend? if you try ghosting him, he'll blow up your phone with calls and messages.

the second you apologize to him or let him have his way, he's all over you. giving you sweet gifts, spoiling you, cuddling you, and telling you how much you mean to him.

mischa sends you "cute" little love notes in your mailbox to mess with you. he just loves seeing you confused and a little frightened- and he hopes you'll come to him for comfort. if you ask him to stop, he'll just act confused. he never sent any notes to you. do you want to sleep in his room for a few days, since you seem to have a stalker? he won't mind :) he'll let you cuddle with his plushies if it makes you feel any better!

after a while he gets tired of pretending to just be your "good friend." why wait any longer? you've let him come this far (reluctantly.)

now that you two are dating- you're going to spend even more time with him, of course. you don't want to upset your boyfriend, after all, do you?

Hello!! I recently got Tumblr after I read some of your love-sick sal fics and DAMN you got me trapped now senpai >////<

So here's my gush about Sal and Larry because I love both of those ghost hunter bffs

So first Sal. Where do I even start? Sally is such an interesting character and I love his concept alone!! The execution? Mwah -3- He's a little femboy but can also be so badass! Me being an absolute SUCKER for Yanderes I can't even begin to describe how much potential he has, but you already showed lots of it!! Sal is definitely the stalker type that collects everything. A little to weak to kidnap right of the bat, but he has that possibility in mind for emergencies. He definitely has journal after journal with drawings, notes and scenarios of Sal and his obsession lover~ He's definitely delusional about the relationship they share. I love to imagine that he'll play into anything his lover wants. Kinks? "Weird" habits? Hobbies? He's definitely into all of it if it means he can be with his lovely Y/N! And I LOVE that devotion so so so SO much!! He definitely isn't the type to force the darling to change but rather changes himself and that's a whole other level of being yandere, let me tell you that! Overall Sal/10 would buy again! Never been happier to have a delusional masked boi chilling outside my window ;D

Now, Larry. DAMN THE DUDE IS STRONG. And he also has connections where he can get drugs from? He'd definitely kidnap as soon as he sees a little danger and I'M ALL HERE FOR IT!! He's kinda the opposite of Sal which I kinda love! Well, sure, they share same interests, but I mean that while Sal is weak and timid (a little of a push-over when it comes to love but not in a bad way c;), Larry is a muscly dude who knows what he wants, but often only wants to chill (which I totally respect). Larry's yandere potential is also pretty high. I mean, he literally lives in the basement with pretty thick walls. It wouldn't be hard to hide a person there, plus he can also drug them if they get too noisy (nothing too dangerous or addicting though, he only wants them to relax a little). I imagine him being super soft though once darling gets Stockholm syndrome comfy! He isn't as delusional as Sal but honestly, he doesn't care. He just takes what he wants and DAMN IT I LOVE IT >//////< Larry/10 would buy again! Never have I been happier being in a basement smoking weed than U am now ;D

And Double Trouble? Let's keep it short.
