Eddie left Bobby to babysit his patient and stood beside Hen, handing her a fresh piece of gauze as a pretense. “There a problem here?” he asked, keeping his expression as neutral as possible. Hen smiled and accepted the gauze, trading it out for the bloodied one she had pressed against the guy’s cheek. “Nothing major.” “Damn right it's major,” Dick hissed. He batted Hen's hand away. “Hey.” Eddie snipped. “Keep your hands to yourself.” “You got no right to tell me what to do, boy,” Dick huffed, shaking a finger at him. “I have my reasons.” “Being a repressed boomer isn't a good reason to assault the people who are trying to help you, let alone jam broken glass into your friend's head,” Eddie scolded. He had a split second to wonder just how ruthless the scolding from Bobby would be before Dick punched him right in the eye.

PANEL THREE: An overhead view of Eda standing over a defeated Lilith, crumpled on the ground. Instead of looking at Lilith, she glares up at the crow phone flying overhead in the foreground. "I told you to stop coming," she growls. PANEL FOUR: In the foreground, Eda's fist clenches around her lowered staff. Beyond it, Lilith stares up at her, hair in disarray, furious. PANEL FIVE: A distant view of the cliff-side path leading away from the Owl House. Eda stands near the house, glaring down at the ground while Lilith flies away on her palisman, glowering over her shoulder. Her scouts, groaning and decidedly worse for wear, trudge after her. Do/for you have to make references for any other characters in Handplates? Like the mouse or pterofractal? The same goes for the characters that have canon designs in Undertale. Did you ever need a ref for them?

Honestly I like never make reference sheets until something forces me, haha. With the mouse I just go back to the first comic he appeared in and just ref off of those. I might have mentioned this before, I forget, but originally that mouse was supposed to be the mole in the MTT comedy club but then I looked up their speech pattern and it didn't fit, so instead I made them a Rathbone cameo from The Lost Mind of Dr. Brain. :B

I had to improvise his lower body so I just gave him big wading pants lol.

As for Pterofractal, Jaz gave me this!

I do have a folder for canon refs, mostly screenshots I've taken to get colors and layouts for certain areas in the Underground, haha. And some sprite sheets if I need them.

Nothing really official or purposeful though, just screencaps and snips from other files I end up reusing.

it’s just starting to hit me that, for the foreseeable future at least, morimyu is over.

it’s so odd to me. like… last time, we had the announcement on the last day. we had more to look forward to before we could get sad about what had just ended, so there was never really this limbo that we’re stuck in now.

there’s been no further announcement. totally fine, of course, because that’s not a no, per se… but it’s not exactly confirmation. i hope we might get more, but everything feels so final. a lot of the cast are thanking for a good series, not a good run, and it’s just… i’m scared for this to end.

for now, i wish to thank the cast and crew of morimyu for everything. they put on such a wonderful show that holds such a special place in my heart, and i wish them all the best in future endeavours. perhaps someday, they will make the wind blow in our hearts again.

Alright, disclaimer: I haven't actually played the zubmarine DLC. I own it. I could by every means play it. It is hand crafted to appeal to me. I just keep getting lost at sea instead (starting a new file and dissociating as I travel the boundless depths of the zee and sink into the impeccable atmosphere). So I'll take that into account, and also consider most of these from primarily a Sseas perspective.

5. Visage

Why is this port not mentioned more in Fallen London. Did something happen to it? Are the zailors collectively in agreement not to ever mention it? Visage has a fascinating culture and I am weak to everything mask related, as well as it's a good port on the Iron Republic - Port Carnelian - Polythreme cycle for reducing terror.

4. Venderbight

I'm a simple man, okay. I really like Tomb Colonists. Unlike Fallen London's exile, I find Venderbight rather serene, and the First Curator's storyline both fascinating lore and a comfortable ritual? I do it in every playthrough like clockwork, partly for the reward and partly for the ritual of gathering the Neathbow again.

3. The Gant Pole

Alright this one I'm cheating a bit on. I know it primarily from the ES Leviathan. But how can you not be compelled by the place where The Zee Goes To Die? Of the passage of the Midnight Whales? Of haruspicy and monstrous change and the colour left behind when there is nothing else left?

2. Kingeater's Castle

1. The Avid Horizon

So many stories come back to this location and it stands like a monolith in a lot of my characters' stories as a result. But it's also incredibly peaceful in Sunless Seas. A place to repent your crimes and seek forgiveness from an empire-- does Fallen London ever even mention that? That unspeakable traitors and criminals make the pilgrimage to write down what they've done, and that the Admiralty takes note?

My impression of the Avid Horizon was largely formed before understanding what it actually is, and before any knowledge of Seeking. I admit I'm a bit biased as a Finn/Canadian because the mention of the stars reflected in the waves and the biting winds and the design itself feel somewhat nostalgic. Its colour palette reminds me of the northern lights.

That said.

This is so hard to do. The lore in Sunless Seas is amazing. Mt Palmerston is fleshed out in Sseas in a way you don't see in Fallen London, but that is so interesting with the context of Hell's history and politics. Frostfound contains so much deep lore that it takes multiple reads to really take all of it in. Aigul and Nuncio are fascinating, and also criminally underused in Fallen London. Diving off the Salt Lions and harvesting it for the Bazaar. Knowing the backstory to Port Cecil and the implications for the Great Chain. I can genuinely talk for hours about any little bit of Sunless Seas, anyone and everyone has permission to yell about it at me. Favourite game of all time.

bro (the meds I was prescribed) really expects me to sleep for 7.5 hours

#just thinking thoughts...#sorry. taking it once every 8 hours is like. impossible #like okay say i wake up at fucking 6 AM. spend 15 minutes eating bread (fucking speedrunning times)#then i have to wait 30 minutes to actually eat the meds. it's now 6:45 AM #give it 7.5 hours. it's 2:15 PM now. everything is in siesta mode now because it's like. past 2 #solution one: eat so fucking slow. go there at like 1:45 and eat for an hour #solution 2: just eat convenience store food for this entire week #solution 3: finally install foodpanda on my phone and just get delivery for every meal #anyways. take second round of meds at 2:45 PM #give it another 7.5 and it is now 10:15. what an i supposed to be eating at 10:15 girl...#sorry. just sulking.
