I'm in the emerald witch arc of the kuro manga and I had gotten kind of excited because I had just gotten to the first flashback hinting to r!Ciel but that was immediately extinguished by how absolutely heart wrenching it is to see o!Ciel trapped in the flashbacks and mental state of when he was in the cage.

His trauma responses are so intense and realistic, it's painful to see and understand but it was done so well.

And the addition of Sebastian remembering that when Ciel was first brought home the only thing he could stomach was warm milk with honey and making sure that Finny knows that says so much about how far Sebastian has come in terms of genuinely caring and it means so much to me.

Anyways sorry for rambling, I'm gonna go sob in a corner now. 🥲👍
