Mirio has to go to work late during a snowstorm and accidently forgets to close the kitchen window. When he comes home his kitten is nowhere to be found and he's desperate to get it back.

Tamaki leaves work one day and notices the pitiful mewling of a tiny cat that found shelter in a dark alleyway just outside the bookstore and takes it home. His roommates Nejire and Yuuyu tell him about the flyers they've seen at uni and persuade Tamaki to message the owner and return his kitten. He's reluctant at first, anxious to talk to a strangers, but finally gives in.

When they meet, something unexpected happens, and maybe Mirio has finally found the cure to his loneliness.
