“Darling! How I am so excited to meet you!” Before I could reply I was pulled into a bone-crushing hug by Mrs. Weasley. I was quickly pulled out of the train by the twins, barely able to tell Lee goodbye before I was being surrounded by redheads. If I didn’t know who they were I would have felt like I was being circled by vultures. Placing names to the faces I saw wasn’t so difficult, I knew all of the family from my time at Hogwarts, the only thing I didn’t know was who the two taller men behind Mrs. Weasley were. I only got a glance at them, they were both redheads, obviously of the Weasley clan. One had a dangly earring with longer hair that reached his jaw, the other was slightly taller and stockier, his hair wasn’t as long as the others but had more of a curl to it. They were engaged in a conversation I couldn’t hear or focus on as I was being pushed out of Mrs. Weasley’s arm’s. She held me at arms length smiling.
“Thank you so much for letting me stay with you, it really means a lot to me,” I spoke softly, bringing one of my hands up to squeeze hers that rested on my shoulder. She nodded enthusiastically. She opened her mouth to reply but was cut off by Mr. Weasley. “No problem, not at all.” He said nodding down at me. He extended his hand which I shook gladly. “Oi stop coddling Y/N!” George spoke up from behind me pushing next to me. “Yeah we want to spend time with her too.” Fred said linking his arm around my shoulders. George let out a chortle that pulled my and Fred’s attention toward him. “I meant for mum to coddle us, you know, because we are her kids.” I felt Fred’s arm drop from around me and I glared at George who smiled wide and looked between us. “Alright children let's get going.” Mrs. Weasley clapped, pulling all of our attention towards her. I let out a short sigh and grabbed my trunk. The ride to the burrow was uncomfortable. I sat in between the twins in the backseat with some extra luggage. Fred started to rest his head on my shoulder around the halfway point which would have been cute if I could relax into it, instead it just made me feel more cramped. I shut my eyes, trying to relax my breathing as my nerves took over me, counting my breaths until we were there. Getting into the Burrow was a flash, moving bodies tumbling up the winding stairs. The house truly was a beauty to behold, seemingly stacked and held together by magic, the outside was remarkable. The inside felt like an ever present hug, little nooks filled with cushions and blankets could be found in nearly every room. It truly was cozy and everything I longed to feel in my own home. Home was void, it was a place where I stayed but it never made me feel the way the Burrow made me feel. “Now Y/N, go put your stuff in Ginny’s room, you and her will be staying together and with Hermione later when she joins us.” Nodding along to Mrs. Weasley’s words I followed Ginny to her bedroom. It was cute there were posters on the wall for quidditch and on her dresser she had a few stuffed animals, they had their fair share of tears and missing buttons but I’m sure that was just from use. “So what’s it like?” She asked as I set my bag down on the cot set up opposite her bed. “Being Fred’s girlfriend of course! Mum’s ecstatic, this is the first time one of the boys have brought someone they are dating home.” I felt heat and embarrassment crawl up my neck like a ferocious fire breathing dragon until my entire body felt hot head to toe. “No, we are just friends.” “Are you sure?” “Very.” “But George said-” “Kids! Dinner is ready!” Mrs. Weasley’s voice flooded the house and I let out a breath I didn’t realize I had been holding in. “Go ahead, I’m going to change.” Ginny nodded and left, shutting the door lightly behind her. Did the family think me and Fred were dating? Did Fred think we were dating? Multiple questions raced through my mind, each one making me grow hotter, but I couldn’t quite place why. I decided against my winter apparel, opting for sleep shorts and an oversized shirt. It wasn’t the cutest but it was the coolest thing I packed and knowing how many people were down stairs I could only assume how much hotter the air would get. Winding my way down the stairs and through the rooms I finally found the one filled with people. The family was surrounding a table where it looked like there was a feast right out of the Great Hall spread out.
“Ah! Y/N, come! Sit sit, um here.” She pointed to a chair on the far end of the table, on each side were the two men I saw from before but didn’t know. Feeling nervous I nodded and went to take my seat. Luckily Fred and George were across from me and that calmed me a bit knowing the meal wouldn’t be met with awkwardness. Soon my plate was full and the entire family seemed to be going in between a big conversation and small ones on the side.
“You must be Y/N.” Said the man on the left of me.
“Yes and you are?” He chuckled and sent a confused look to the twins, I followed his gaze and saw Fred looking rather displeased, sending him a glare.
“Charlie, and that’s Bill.” He pointed around my shoulder to the man on my right. I smiled warmly and waved and he nodded with a sly wink.
“I’ve heard about you two, you’re the oldest ones right? And you are in Egypt most of the time?” I asked Charlie in between bites of beans.
“No I’m usually in Romania with Dragons, Bill is in Egypt working with his voodoo.” Placing my attention on Bill, silently asking him for confirmation.
“I don’t do voodoo, Charlie is just being an ass, it's his specialty.” He was cut off by Charlie laughing, rolling his eyes he started again. “I’m a curse breaker, I work for Gringotts.” My eyes widened as I felt curiosity bubble up within me. If I had to guess I would have assumed that Bill was the one working with dragons, his hair pulled back into a ponytail, his tooth earring, leather boots, it just felt more fitting. Charlie's build definitely proved his occupation; I just would not have guessed it.
“What does a curse breaker do exactly?” I asked. “Well obviously, you know, but are there any cool perks?”
“Yeah Bill what are the cool perks?” George asked with a sly smirk, his eyes danced between Fred’s hostile gaze and his older brother, chuckling to himself.
“Yeah other than getting sunburnt.” Fred groaned. I sent him a look but he missed it too busy prodding around with his food angrily. George had an amused look on his face, obviously directed at his twins behavior but I couldn’t place why.
“He knows nothing about burns, trust me.” Charlie piped up. He rolled up his left sleeve which held a scar that curved and danced up his forearm and around his elbow.
“Baby Chinese firebolt, I was trying to put it into the incubator when it realized I wasn’t mama.”
Dinner went on, Fred didn’t utter a word for the rest of dinner, just poked his food with a grimace on his face. I didn’t let his sour mood ruin mine, I was divested in conversation with Bill and Charlie, learning all about their jobs and travels. Bill told me about an old woman who made jewelry in the center of the town in Egypt where he stayed, he told me about how she imbued each item with a different magical property, some were protection charms and others were sister pieces used to send messages between  their owners. Charlie taught me about the different types of dragons and what it was like to work with them. They were both so kind, answering each question I had with a smile on their face. I was so divested in whatever Bill was telling me I didn’t notice everyone had left the table at that point.
“Why don’t we move into the living room?” He asked looking around, I followed his eyes, noting the once lively table empty. In a weird way it made me feel cold, a shiver tore through me.
“If you don’t mind I am going to find the twins.” I spoke getting up. He smiled understandingly. “I think Fred might be in their room, second level first door on your left.” I nodded, sending him a small smile as thanks.
“Wait I said twins, not Fred.” I looked back to him, his smile evident as if he had just caught me.
“I know.” He said, cheeky grin never leaving his features. I felt my cheeks heat up, turning on my heel I left and found my way to the stairs. Harry was watching Ginny and Ron play wizards chess in the kitchen, Charlie and Percy were arguing in the living room about the ethical uses of dragons as means of labor while their parents were both reading. I didn’t see George or Fred and took Bill's advice and bounded up the stairs.
Knocking lightly on the door I was met with no response, tried again, nothing. Despite my better judgement I pushed the door open. The room is exactly how you would expect it, slightly messy with blueprints and products strewn about. On each side was a twin bed, one with green covers and the other with blue. On the right side Fred was laying on his stomach, head facing his wall and limbs falling off the sides. George wasn’t in sight.
I tiptoed around the things on the floor and found his side, sitting down gently in case he was sleeping. There was a tension in the air that made me uneasy and I wanted it gone. I just wanted to spend time with him, I didn’t want to feel like I had to hold my breath.
I ran my fingers through his hair, unable to hold myself back. I felt him let out a sigh under my touch. He began to shift, picking his head up and adjusting himself so he was facing me.
“Hey stranger.” I said softly, sending him a smile. His face was unreadable, part way between smiling and frowning like he was fighting himself inside. He scanned me, up and down like he was trying to read my intentions by a quick look.
“What are you doing up here?” He asked. His voice held no emotion and it stung slightly to see him be so blank with me.
“I want to see you, we haven’t been able to hang out all day and I missed you.” I kept my head down as I spoke. A beat of silence rang throughout the room. I looked at him for an answer, my eyes met his and I watched the resolve fade away, like a barrier breaking beneath his exterior, his eyes lost their cool touch and they warmed up, returning to their familiar honey pools I know.
“Get in here.” He wrapped an arm around me, pulling me down to his level. I helped him, situating myself around him, tangling my legs with his and putting my hands on his chest. Both of his arms were around me, pulling me into him like he hadn’t seen me in months, he buried his head in my neck, his hair fell across my face making my giggle at the feeling, realization struck through me as I evaluated his movements in his head.
“Freddie are you ok?” I asked, my voice was more serious now but his behavior was just hard to read, it felt like since I met his family he had pulled back, the back of my brain was telling me it was because I did something wrong.
“Yeah I just,” He paused holding his breath. “Please don’t let me go.” His words vibrated against my neck. I felt his arms tighten around me as he spoke, like he was in a dream he didn’t want to wake up from.
“I wouldn’t dream of it Freddie.” I whispered back, deciding not to push it. Leaning down I placed a small peck to his ginger locks. I felt his mouth curve into a smile against my skin and it made butterflies erupt in my stomach. I felt giddy and drunk, being wrapped up in his arms, smelling, holding, being held by Fred. It was intoxicating and I couldn’t possibly wish for more.

TW: Blood, jealousy, swear words and zombies
They have finally accepted Rick Grimes’ invitation - they are returning to Alexandria in the The Walking Dead dimension!
Everyone will come - Y/N and her friends, Laura and Vera, as well as Snape, Lucius, Draco, the Trio, the Weasley twins, Ginny, Neville and Luna.
That’s definitely going to be a handful of teenagers for the two Slytherin men to keep an eye on under their visit. Well, they better not do anything stupid…
All of the fourteen people are gathered in the Forbidden Forest, ready to apparate. Narcissa is there, too.
“Just be careful, okay? Last time you were there, you were kidnapped!“ the Slytherin woman says with worry in her voice.
Draco rolls his eyes. “Mother, it will be fine. Father and Professor Snape will be there with us” the boy states, trying to reassure his mother.
As it doesn’t seem to work, Lucius tries as well.
“Draco is right, Cissy. Everything will be all right, the bad guy was put in prison last time. They aren’t just going to let him roam free on the streets” he says, putting a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
Narcissa slowly nods as she smiles. “You are right, Lucius. Just… be careful of those zombies!” she exclaims as she hugs him tightly.
Chuckling, Lucius gently pats her back. “There, there. We will be fine, Cissy. Besides, the people of Alexandria have their Muggle weapons to kill those creatures” he reminds her.
Sighing, she finally lets go of him. “All right. But if anything happens, you call for Lopsy and tell her to give me a message!” Narcissa says in a warning tone, referring to their house elf.
Lucius nods. “I will, don’t worry” he assures her.
They all then wave the woman goodbye as they finally apparate to the The Walking Dead dimension right outside the gates of Alexandria. As they do so, Lucius turns around to face the others.
“Now, remember. We cannot use our magic here due to the infection-“ he says before he’s interrupted by something grabbing him so he falls onto the ground and drops his cane. Everybody gasps.
“Lucius!” Y/N exclaims as she concentrates.
With the powers of the diamonds, she makes the zombie fly into a nearby tree before it bites Lucius’ face off.
He sighs in relief. “Thank you, Y/N” he says, looking grateful.
Giving him a shy smile, she and Snape help him up from the cold ground before she hands him his cane.
Just then, the gates of Alexandria are opened as it reveals the leader, Rick Grimes.
“Hello, it’s good to see you. We were wondering when you would return. And I see you brought some more people with you” Rick says as he looks at Draco, the twins, Ginny, Luna and Neville.
Y/N gives a nervous chuckle. “It’s good to see you, too. And I hope it’s fine they are here. This is Draco, Lucius’ son. This is Fred and George Weasley, Ron’s brothers. This is their sister, Ginny Weasley. And this is Neville and this is Luna” she says as she introduces the new faces.
Rick nods. “Nice to meet you all. So, which one of you is Fred, and which one is George?” he questions, looking puzzled as he can’t tell them apart.
The twins give a mischievous smirk. “Well, I am Fred” George says.
“No, I am Fred” Fred repeats.
He then laughs. “Actually, I’m George” Fred says.
Rick Grimes looks absolutely confused.
Ron sighs. “They are messing with you. The one to the left is George, the one to the right is Fred” he states, putting the poor man out of his misery.
“Spoilsport” the twins say in unison.
Nodding, Rick then clears his throat. “Thank you. Anyway, let’s find the others. They have missed you” he says as he starts walking. The others follow him.
As they are walking through Alexandria, they notice a lot of people working in the gardens.
“Cool, you are growing your own vegetables now?” Laura asks.
Rick nods at that. “Yeah. In fact, we make a lot of things by ourselves now instead of scavenging. A lot has happened since the last time you were here” he tells them.
They then spot the others on the benches outside, drinking some fresh lemonade.
When Carl notices them, he jumps up from his seat and runs towards them. “You are here!“ he exclaims.
Harry smiles. “Yeah, we are. And we brought some friends with us” the Boy Who Lived says as he gestures to the new faces.
The others rise up from their seats as well and greet the newcomers.
“We were getting worried whether or not you would show up” Carol admits as she smiles at them, carrying little Judith in her arms.
Hermione gives them a sad smile. “So were we, we have honestly been quite busy lately. But now we are finally here!” she says, looking happy.
Daryl seems to notice that two people are missing. “Hey, where are those other two wizards at?” he questions, referring to Black and Lupin.
Ginny answers after a moment of silence. “Well, Professor Lupin had classes to teach” the girl says.
“And Black?” Michonne asks.
They all then look at Snape which makes the Potions Master raise an eyebrow.
Vera then clears her throat. “Well, let’s just say that he refused to come if Snape came as well” she says as she shrugs.
The people of Alexandria look puzzled by that.
“You two don’t like each other, do you?” Aaron dares to ask.
Snape huffs. “… No” he simply responds.
Father Gabriel clears his throat. “Well, why don’t we show you around? Lunch will be served afterwards” the priest says. Nodding, they all start to walk.
As they do so, snarling can be heard from outside the walls. Neville gulps at that. “T-they can’t get in, right?” the boy nervously asks, referring to the zombies outside.
Luna gives him a reassuring smile. “Don’t worry, Neville. If they do, then the Nargles will help fight them off” the girl says as she gives her dream-like smile.
That just makes Neville look even more nervous.
“Is she bloody serious?” Ron whispers to Harry and Hermione.
Harry shrugs. “I’m not sure, Ron. I honestly still don’t get what Nargles are” he says, looking unsure.
Hermione rolls her eyes. “They are just made-up creatures, they don’t exist” she states.
However, Luna hears her. “They do exist, Hermione. You just can’t see them because you don’t believe in them” she says, still having her dream-like smile.
Carl looks puzzled. “Like Santa Claus?” he questions, whispering to Y/N, Laura and Vera.
The three girls merely shrug. “No idea, dude” Laura says.
As they are getting a tour, they suddenly hear a recognisable voice they never thought they would hear again.
“Well, shit. If it isn’t the wizards” the voice says.
Lucius and Snape immediately stop walking. They give each other a look that says “There is no way, right?”.
Slowly turning around, they are surprised to see that to their dismay, it’s true. It’s Negan, and he’s outside his cell.
“What is he doing out here?” Lucius snaps, demanding answers.
Rosita, Aaron and Daryl are glaring at Rick and Michonne who ignore them.
Father Gabriel decides to answer. “We decided that he may come out to get some fresh air. Under supervision, of course. He has to do work while he’s out here” the priest explains.
Lucius and Snape are still glaring at him. Negan is merely grinning, enjoying seeing their angry faces.
Rick clears his throat. “Well, why don’t we move on with the tour?” he asks. When they all nod, they walk away from the prisoner.
As they do so, Y/N looks at Negan. When he notices, he winks at her which makes her cheeks turn red.
Once the tour and lunch are over, the Harry Potter characters and the three girls walk around on their own.
As Laura and Vera discuss the best way to kill zombies- walkers while they are walking, they don’t notice Y/N stopping to admire a flower in one of the gardens.
While she’s looking at the flower, she doesn’t notice someone behind her.
“Enjoying the flower, huh? That’s just damn precious” a voice says.
Startled, Y/N immediately turns around. It’s Negan.
“Oh, um… Hi, Negan” she shyly says.
That makes him chuckle. “Hello, Y/N. I see you are not with Blondie and Emo Guy” he says as he smirks.
The girl chuckles nervously at that. “Well, I’m sure Lucius and Snape are keeping an eye on Harry, Ron and Draco somewhere” she says.
She’s sure that those three boys will be in trouble if no one is making sure they behave. Hermione can’t keep an eye on them twenty-four hours in a day.
Speaking of the two Slytherin men, they are both looking at them right now, looking jealous.
Negan notices, though.
Smirking, he leans forward to whisper in her ear as he gently touches her arm.
“Well, I better go back to my cell before Rick the Prick finds me. Oh, and about the wizards, you should probably not keep them waiting” he says as he winks.
He then leaves a flustered-looking Y/N. She has a good idea of what he meant…
She however can’t help but question what he meant by “before Rick finds me”. Was he supposed to be in his cell right now? If so, how did he get out?
As she’s speculating, two particular wizards quickly follow a smug-looking Negan. Almost as if he can feel their presence, he turns around to face them.
“Ah, there you are, my two fucking favourite wizards!” he says as chuckles.
Both Slytherin men are glaring at him, gritting their teeth.
“What… are you… doing?” Snape asks with anger, keeping long pauses to make sure the Muggle understands.
Negan laughs at that. “What am I doing? I’m simply going for a fucking walk, stretching out my legs” he says, grinning as his answer just makes the two jealous men even angrier.
The scene seems to catch other people’s attention.
“No bloody way, are they going to fight? Who do you guys think will win?” Ron asks, looking excited.
Laura smirks. “Snape will win. Negan has been in prison for too long, and Lucius can’t fight without magic. Even when he can do magic, I still beat his ass” she says smugly.
That makes Draco’s face turn red. “Shut your mouth, Muggle! My father will win!” the boy says through gritted teeth.
“I don’t know, that Negan guy was quite scary. I think he will win” Harry says, shuddering as he thinks of their last “visit” to this dimension.
Fred smirks mischievously. “I’ll bet 10 Galleons that Snape will win” he says.
George copies his twin’s expression. “Don’t get your hopes up, I bet that Negan will win” he says.
They both then shake their hands. “Deal” they say in unison.
“You know what he meant! And why did you touch Y/N’s arm?!” Lucius exclaims, pointing his cane at Negan’s throat.
“Ooh, is Lucius going to beat Negan with his cane?? I can’t wait to see that!” Vera exclaims, looking like a child in a candy shop.
Negan just smirks. “Now, now, Grandpa. You can’t use magic here, remember?” Negan taunts them. Lucius growls at him.
Out of the blue, the three men start fist fighting - who began? Well, no one knows, but it looks quite violent.
Before anyone can get seriously injured, Rick and Daryl show up.
“What the hell is going on here?!” Daryl exclaims as he helps Rick with stopping the three grownups.
They are all panting, a few scars here and there. Blood drips out of one of Snape’s old scars.
Rick raises an eyebrow. “What are you doing out of your cell?” he asks as he glares at Negan.
The man merely laughs. “Well, your priest forgot to lock the cell door. And I simply couldn’t stop myself from having a conversation with Emo Guy and Blondie here” he says, grinning as he gestures to Lucius and Snape. They both growl at him.
Meanwhile, the teenagers argue who won the fight.
“Negan won!” George yells.
“No, Snape won!” Fred yells back.
“Are you kidding me? My father clearly won!” Draco yells.
“Bloody hell, stop yelling!” Ron shouts.
Vera sighs. Are they done yet?
“Dude, Snape clearly won! Did you not see those fighting skills?!” Laura exclaims, crossing her arms.
Harry looks at her, confused. “I thought you didn’t like Professor Snape?” he asks.
She sighs. “I know I call him a dumbass - which he really is, by the way, but I must admit he has some pretty impressive fighting skills… And anyway, I don’t particularly like him, but Y/N does, so he’s cool in my book. Same with Lucius, even though that guy just sucks” Laura says as she shrugs.
Draco looks quite offended by that. “My father will-“ he starts just as he’s interrupted.
“Yeah, yeah, he will hear about this” Laura says as she sticks out her tongue.
Hermione sighs. “As Rick and Daryl stopped them, none of them technically won” she states. Everybody groans at that.
Neville gulps, though. “Well, at least none of them got seriously injured… Professor Snape did seem really angry… It was quite scary” he whispers.
Luna gives her dream-like smile. “Don’t worry, Neville. The worst Professor Snape will ever do to you is take house points or give you detention” she says, trying to calm him down.
It doesn’t work, though.
“Detention with him… Merlin, save me!” the boy exclaims, looking frightened. Ginny gently pats his back.
Daryl then approaches them. “Show’s over. Dinner will be served in Rick’s house soon” he says. Nodding, they all follow him to the house.
A few minutes later, everybody is seated. Even Negan. Lucius and Snape growl at that.
“What is he doing here?” Snape questions, trying not to shout.
Rick sighs. “He would only eat if we let him in the same room as Y/N… I don’t suppose you would have liked it if she was to eat down in his cell?” he asks.
Lucius grits his teeth. If they did that, then Negan would surely be dead!
Carol clears her throat. “Let’s start eating” she suggests. Nodding, they all start tugging into their meal.
Both Snape and Lucius are glaring at Negan, tightening their hold on their cutlery. Negan just smirks at them.
Eugene, who is sitting next to Lucius, gulps. “Uhh, would anybody like some pickles?” he suddenly asks, hoping the men will stop glaring daggers at the prisoner.
Rosita sighs. “No offence, Eugene, but pickles don’t exactly go well with lasagna” she states.
Eugene nods at that. “Understood. More for me, then” he says as he eats a pickle.
What feels like several hours later, they are finally done with the meal. As they all bid each other good night, Negan approaches Y/N.
“Well, good night, Y/N” he says as he grins.
Y/N shyly smiles at him. “Good night, Negan” she says.
As Lucius and Snape are looking like they could murder him any second, Negan smirks as he whispers in her ear.
“Enjoy your night with those two kinky wizards” he says, winking. Her cheeks turn redder than the Weasleys’ hair.
Growling, Lucius strolls towards them and grabs Y/N’s arm as gently as he can in his angry state.
“Muggles” he mutters under his breath as he and Snape guide Y/N to the house they will be sharing.
“Um, good night, guys!” Laura shouts as the two Slytherin men are basically dragging Y/N with them without even wishing the others good night…
Harry, Ron, the twins, Neville and Draco will share the one to the left. Yes, Draco will share with the Gryffindor boys. Hopefully, everybody will still be alive the next morning…
Laura, Vera, Hermione, Ginny and Luna will share the house to the right.
In the middle, Snape and Lucius will share a house with Y/N all to themselves. The three of them immediately enter.
“I cannot believe it! That insolent Muggle just won’t leave you alone! And why in Salazar’s name won’t he stop swearing?!” Lucius exclaims, throwing his cane onto the couch in anger.
Y/N gently puts a hand on his shoulder to calm him down. “It’s okay, Lucius. You know how Negan is, this was expected to happen” she says as she gives him a shy smile.
Lucius sighs, wrapping his arms around her waist. “You are right, darling. I just don’t like that Muggle to be near you” he says, kissing the top of her head which makes her blush.
Snape nods in agreement. “Indeed, I would rather face those zombies outside the fence than listen to his swearing all day” he says, grabbing Y/N’s hand in his as he kisses her cheek. Her cheeks turn even redder.
She then notices his open scar near his eyebrow. “What happened, Severus?“ she asks as she gasps.
Both men look at each other. “No idea. It must have suddenly reopened” he says, not telling her that they fought Negan.
“Why don’t we go to bed, hmm?” Lucius suggests, changing the subject.
As the two others nod, they walk upstairs to the bedroom as they start getting ready to sleep.
While Y/N is brushing her teeth, Snape and Lucius are expressing their jealousy… Or perhaps not?
“It’s not that I’m jealous… It’s just that I hate how close he gets to her!” Lucius exclaims, looking angry.
Snape huffs. “Exactly. I’m not jealous either, but the way he looks at her-“ he says just as Y/N enters the room.
She chuckles. “You know you two don’t have to be jealous, right?” she gently asks.
“I am NOT jealous!” they both exclaim in unison.
She can’t help but giggle at that. “If you say so” she says as she joins them in bed.
She lies in between them as they both wrap their arms around her protectively. She nuzzles into Snape’s chest while she hugs Lucius’ left arm tightly.
“Good night” she mutters tiredly. She immediately falls asleep.
They both chuckle at that. “Good night, Y/N” they both say as they kiss each of her cheeks. After a while, they fall asleep as well, smiling as they do so.
They have nothing to be jealous of as Y/N cares too much about them.
They will just have to do their best to resist the urge to kill the annoying, swearing Muggle.

-----
Light. The sound of curtains.
“Rise and shine, girls! Quidditch is today!”
No.
Your eyes immediately opened, only to be blinded by the sunlight filtering in through the window. But as soon as you were able to see, you zoned in on the one thing in the room that held your interest: the calendar above the door.
Saturday February 2nd, 1996.
With no ounce of hesitation you leapt out of bed. This couldn’t be happening.
“Damn, Y/N! I didn’t know you liked Quidditch that much!” Angelina laughed. But you were only half listening, hastily pulling on your clothes. By the time you were dressed and ready, Angelina was already leading the way out of the room down the stairs. You anxiously walking down behind her, wishing with all your heart that Fred and George would not be in the common room.
“Just think Y/N. Now you get to see- Fred! George! What are the two of you doing up?”
And there they were. Just like yesterday.
“Habit.”
“What he said.”
But all you could do was stand still at the base of the stairs, staring out as yesterday's scene replayed in front of you.
“Well then you can join us for breakfast before the game.” And as expected George offered his arm, which Angelina took. Alicia trailing behind them out of the portrait. Fred lingering behind, looking at you.
“You okay, love?”
You wished he hadn’t asked. You shook your head frantically. He took a step towards you, which made you stumble backwards into the stairs. Fred was next to you in the next breath, hovering over your collapsed frame.
“Y/N? What is going on?” His brown eyes held so much concern that for a moment the words almost slipped out. But instead you allowed him to help you stand and help you to the couch before you began to think about what to say.
Do I tell him? Would he believe me? Is this just some crazy dream?
But looking up at Fred told you all you needed to know. He’d believe you. For Godric's sake you lived in a magical castle and could make objects fly at a flick of a wand, of course it couldn’t be too far fetched.
So you turned to face him head on. “Fred, this is going to sound crazy.”
He shrugged and smiled, putting his arm on the back of the couch next to your head. “Try me.”
You took a deep breath. “I think I’m stuck in a time loop.”
Fred blinked and furrowed his brows. “Sorry?”
“I said, I think I’m stuck-”
“No. No. I heard you.”
A cynical laugh bubbled out from your throat as you stood and began to pace in front of the fireplace. You stopped for a moment to stare at Fred. “But you don’t believe me.”
“It’s not that I don’t believe you, it’s just there’s never been-”
“You don’t know that.” You wrapped your arms around yourself, feeling more lonely than ever. Your best friend didn’t believe you. If he didn’t, who would? Were you going to be stuck in February 2nd, 1996 forever? Do you even age?
Fred stood up and placed his hands on your arms, steadying you. “Just tell me what happened.”
“Nothing really happened, Fred. But today is the third day it’s been February 2nd. Quidditch is today-” A thought struck you, your gaze snapped back to Fred. “Quidditch is today!!”
Fred looked even more dubious than ever. “Yes?”
But you simply grabbed his hand and bolted for the portrait, pulling him behind you. The portrait swung open and you took off like a bullet down the halls and down the staircases.
“Where are we going?!” Fred shouted breathlessly from behind you.
“I can prove it!”
You didn’t let him go until you made it to the Quidditch pitch where the crowds were already seated. You tugged him up into the stands you had sat in for two days. There were two seats saved next to George, as you’d hoped and you tugged Fred into one of those two seats.
“Where were you guys?” George asked, peering past Fred to look at you.
“Talking.” You quickly responded before turning back to Fred.
“About what?” George continued.
You glanced at George and saw an opportunity. “Talking about our predictions for the game.”
George laughed and raised a brow. “Six sickles Gryffindor wins.”
You leaned back in your seat. “One galleon that Gryffindor wins 340-20. Angelina scores the first goal and the last goal. Ron plays near perfectly and makes an incredible block by standing on his broom. Chang almost gets hit by a bludger twice and Ginny catches the Snitch-” You checked your watch. “In exactly 2 hours and 14 minutes.” You held out your hand to George who was gapping, but not more than Fred’s who was staring at you with a look of awe.
George seemed to shake off whatever shock he had and grabbed your hand shaking it recklessly. “You’re on, Y/L/N!”
“Welcome to today's Quidditch game between Ravenclaw and GRYFFINDOR!” Lee screamed over the pitch.
And then you sat back and watched the game play out. And everything came to pass just as you said it would. A part of you wanted something to fall out of line. For once in your life you wanted to be wrong.
But your ‘predictions’ were perfect, as you knew they would be.
When Ginny caught the Snitch and the game was over with the scoreboard reading 340-20, George grabbed your hand and pressed a galleon in it. “I don’t know how you knew that, but I’m bloody impressed.” And with that he took off down the stairs of the stands, following the Gryffindor crowds to presumably begin the celebrations in the common room.
But Fred didn’t move. Didn’t even look at you.
The galleon felt heavy in hand. “Do you believe me now?” You whispered.
You heard him sigh. “I never disbelieved you, love.” He turned to look at you, grabbing your face in his hands to make you look at him. His hands were rough and yet still the hold he had on you was gentle. It was almost loving. His lips curled into an even gentler smile. “How can I help?”
It felt like a weight being lifted off your shoulders. But at the same time, it was at that moment you were forced to admit it was not a dream.
“Let’s start at the library.” He nodded and the two of you got up and made your way down the stairs and back into the castle.
“So what’s the plan?” Fred asked as the two of you stood in the entrance of the library.
“I guess we just start looking for books about time magic.” And so you did. You pulled every book imaginable on magic dealing with time. You had books about time travel, stopping time, fast forwarding time, time warps, the list went on and on. You felt certain you would find something.
But you didn’t.
Not in any of those books did it mention anything about time loops. The closest you came was to individual objects being stuck in time loops within a world that still moved normally around it. But that didn’t apply here. It wasn’t as if you were an egg being turned into a bird and then back into an egg as time moved around you. No. It was like the entire world was forced from egg to bird and you were the only one who remembered it was ever an egg.
“This is hopeless.” You glanced at your watch. 11:57. “We’re almost out of time.”
Fred smirked and shrugged. “We can always try again today, tomorrow.” You sent him a withering glare. He scratched the back of his neck, but his smile didn’t waver. “Too soon?”
But you couldn’t help the slight smile that broke through. “Might as well laugh. But don’t be surprised if I make that joke today, tomorrow.”
In an instant, Fred launched around the table and grabbed you. His hands began to tickle your sides as you squealed in laughter.
“You can’t steal my jokes!”
“St-sto-stop it! Fre-FRED!” You managed to say between your fits of giggles. But Fred wouldn’t ease up.
“Say you won’t steal my joke! Say it! I’m not letting you go until you say it!” True to his word he continued his tickling assault.
“Fi-fine! I-I won’t steal your-steal your joke!” And just like that, his hands stopped. Instead they latched themselves to the corners of the back of your chair, so he was leaning over you. The both of you were panting, broad smiles on your faces.
“Thank you.” He whispered breathlessly.
It was then that you noticed how close the two of you were. Close enough that if you leaned up a few inches, you would meet.
Almost unconsciously you began to lean forward as Fred began to descend. You closed your eyes and reached for his neck.
And then light.
“Rise and shine, girls! Quidditch is today!”
“NO!” You sat up in your bed. Saturday, February 2nd 1996 glaring down at you.
Angelina was looking at you weirdly, standing by the window with the curtains still in her hands. But you didn’t care. You whipped out of bed and pulled whatever clothes were on the floor and closest to you.
Without waiting, you flung yourself down the stairs only halting right at the corner when you heard voices. Fred and George.
“Your hair looks fine, stop messing with it.” George groaned.
You heard some shuffling. “Piss off, George.”
“You’re just jealous you’re not as handsome as me.” The sound of a hit echoed into the stairwell. As upset as you were, you couldn’t help but smile.
“Did you skip the mirror this morning, mate? I’m clearly the more handsome twin.”
Footsteps sounded from behind you, and in a moment Angelina’s face appeared with Alicia hot on her heels.
“There you are! What was with the outburst this morning?” She looped her arm around yours and dragged you down the steps into the common room. “Well on the bright side now you get to see-”
Don’t say it. Don’t say it.
“Fred! George! What are the two of you doing up?”
Habit.
“Habit.”
What he said.
“What he said.”
“Well then you can join us for breakfast before the game.” Angelina left you to join George and was out of the common room with Alicia before you could blink. Fred, once again, stayed behind.
You looked at him right as he was about to open his mouth.
“No. I’m not okay. Yes, you can help me.” You pointed to the nearest chair. “Sit down and I’ll explain.” Fred was looking at you like a deer in the headlights, but nodded and sat down. You began to pace in front of him. “I’m stuck in a time loop. It’s day four of me living February 2nd. Gryffindor is going to win the match today. Ron makes an excellent save, Ginny catches the Snitch, score is 340-20. Everyone comes back here gets drunk off their asses and goes to bed. I told you all of this yesterday-” You glanced at him sadly. “And I can tell you don’t remember, but we’ve already looked through nearly every book in the library about time loops so I need your help to get me unstuck.” You planted your hands on your hips, biting your lip. You were nervous he wouldn’t believe you. But honestly if he didn’t, you would just have to keep looking.
But after a minute of silence, Fred shrugged and nodded. “Okay.”
The two of you spent your day in the library, looking at books on potions, ancient runes, anything that could possibly be some sort of antidote to your situation. But nothing worked.
And time ran out.
You woke up again on Saturday February 2nd, 1996. You explained it to Fred again. He tried to help. Nothing worked. And you woke up again.
And again.
And again.
And again.
Until it had been a month of the same day.
You had told Angelina not today when she pulled open the curtains. It took her awhile to leave you, but at this point you knew exactly what to say to get her to leave the quickest possible.
You had tried every potion antidote, read every rune, you’d even tried talking to Professor McGonagall. But it was all pointless. Every night at 11:59 you fell asleep and every morning you woke up on February 2nd.
You had been dreading this moment for weeks. The moment you’d resort to something you weren’t sure would actually work and could have irreversible consequences.
But you needed to try everything if you wanted a chance to see February 3rd. Tiredly, you pulled on your clothes not bothering to put any effort in. If this worked there would be no need to get dressed fancily. And if it didn’t? Well you’d either wake up tomorrow or-
You shook your head trying not to think of the or.
You resolutely walked down the stairs, wringing your hands nervously.
“Y/N?” Your eyes widened as you glanced up to see Fred standing at the foot of the stairs.
“Fr-Fred?” You stuttered, hurriedly clearing your throat so as to not completely give yourself away.
He looked a little bashful but held up a little package. Chocolate Frogs. “Angelina told me you weren’t feeling well so I figured I’d bring you a Chocolate Frog to make you feel better.”
Your heart broke a little at that. But you pushed his hand down. “Keep it.” And then you kissed his cheek and made your way out of the portrait.
Tears slipped down your cheek. You weren’t even sure this would work, but you were still scared.
The walk to the Astronomy tower was shorter than you anticipated, but you steeled your nerves when you arrived.
The sun was still reaching over the tops of the trees, making everything have a soft warm glow. You hoped this worked. You strolled over to the balcony and peered down. You hoped that it wouldn’t hurt. No matter the outcome, you prayed it wouldn’t hurt.
You stepped over the railing and looked out.
The Quidditch pitch in the distance. Students beginning to make their way over, laughing and joking with each other. You could see Luna Lovegood's brilliant lion headdress from that far as she strolled next to who you guessed was Neville Longbottom.
“Y/N?” You heard a broken voice from behind you. You stumbled, startled at the voice you wanted least to hear. Your hands let go of the railing.
And you fell.
“NO!” Fred’s shout rang out like a gunshot. You twisted midair to see Fred hanging over the railing. His face was twisted in pain, tears pouring down his cheeks as he desperately reached for you.
And his face was the last thing you saw before you hit the ground.
------
“Rise and shine, girls! Quidditch is today!”
For the first time in a month, you were glad to hear it. And then you remembered, that the one thing you were relying on being the answer was suddenly crossed off the list.
And then you remembered Fred’s face. The look that would haunt your nightmares for weeks, as if your life wasn’t a walking nightmare already.
You groaned loudly and pulled the covers back over your head.
“Not today, Angelina. I think I’m gonna sleep this one away.”
You didn’t bother to listen to her response as you closed your eyes and fell back asleep desperately trying to ignore the way the word no replayed in your head.

Unexpected (Part 5)
Fred Weasley x Slytherin!Reader
Summary: Everyone knew Fred Weasley, the cocky, confident, Griffindor beater and prank extraordinaire. Everything was pretty damn perfect, until he meets a girl that he can't keep secret anymore.
A/N: Hey!! So I have a day free from my college work and studies, and I thought I'd use my limited time to post the next part that I wrote a while ago. Posting will probably still be slow because I have a lot to do (I'm just procrastinating today) so sorry about that - if I do post something it'll be when I'm procrastinating again. Anyways, this part is a little shorter than the others but I hope you like it!!

Fred was laid across his bed, his limbs dangling off either side and his face in the pillows.
He couldn't, for the love of Merlin, stop thinking about (Y/N). He was completely infatuated with her; her playful attitude, the mischievous glint in her beautiful (e/c) eyes, the way she swung her hips when she walked, the list could go on and on. He couldn't stop staring at her whenever she was in his sight, he studied her every move when he could; he wanted to know everything about her and yet she was still a mystery to him - he knew just as much about her now as he did when he first saw her.
The more he thought about this, the more disgruntled he became. He let out a pained groan - gaining the attention of his twin, who was writing out some notes on their new pranking ideas. George frowned suspiciously, putting down the pencil and paper to swing his legs around the side of the bed. "Fred, what's up?" He asked. It was more than obvious that something had been bothering him this past week and his brother wasn't giving him any answers. He had a feeling it was to do with that girl, he wanted to know what could be making him like this - she really must be something.
Fred shook his head in response and huffed. But, this wasn't the answer George wanted. He stood up and jumped on the bottom of Fred's bed, bouncing a few times before landing - shaking Fred about in the process. "Alright, that's enough now. Spill. Tell me about her."
There was a muffled sound from the pillows that would sound like gibberish to anyone else, but his twin knew when his brother was denying something. "Come off it, Fred. I know something's up, and I'll bet ten galleons that it's to do with that girl. You've been acting weird since, and I want you to tell me - no excuses!" He argued, crossing his arms in determination.
Fred sighed and turned onto his back, then decided to pull his pillow onto his face. "I don't know what's wrong with me." He mumbled from under it. George gestured for him to go on, crossing his legs to get comfy. "She's driving me absolutely mad, she is." 'Aha!' George thought; he knew it was something to do with the girl. "Like… the first time I saw her I thought she was pretty, then she saved my arse from Filch which was great and all, but then she just- s-she… I don't know she just made me all awkward a-and stuttery and I don't know why!" He growled in annoyance and turned back into his stomach to groan into his pillow again.
George's eyes widened, was it possible that Fred had... fallen for someone? Fred's liked girls before, and of course there are plenty of girls who have a thing for the twins, but Fred's never actually fallen for someone before. This was more serious than George thought.
After a few moments of silence, George cleared his throat. "So… er… who's the girl?" If she was getting his brother to fall for her she's got to be some next level witch. That, or she's slipped him a love potion but hopefully the latter isn't the case.
Shaking his head, Fred grumbled, "M'not telling you."
"What? Why?"
"Because."
"Because what?"
"Because y'might not like her." Fred concluded, if he liked (Y/N) as much as he thinks he likes her then he wants his twin to like her too, but he had a gut feeling about George's first impressions when he finds out.
"What d'you mean?" George shuffled closer, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion. "Why wouldn't I like her?"
"Doesn't matter." Fred replied shortly; this was a lot more stressful than he thought it would be.
"Fred," George pleaded dramatically, "just tell me who it is." He begged.
Tucking himself further into the pillows, Fred scrunched up his face and blurted out her name.
But, of course, George couldn't hear him from under the pillows. "What's that?" He asked, getting closer.
"(Y/N) (Y/L/N)."
George sat up, having heard him properly. Who the hell is (Y/N) (Y/L/N)?
"Who's that? Can't be in Gryffindor, right? I would've heard of her then. Hufflepuff maybe? I don't know a lot of them-"
"No."
"Then which?"
There was a long pause before George started pestering him, again; question after question on repeat - and becoming increasingly annoying until Fred cracks.
"Fred. Fred, just tell me which house. Fred. Fred. Fred. Fred. Fre-"
"Bloody hell, George, alright! It's Slytherin, okay?" He announced in frustration; it became silent quickly as George processed the information, his face frozen. "She's in Slytherin." Fred sighed, bracing himself for his brother's reaction.
George took a little longer to process before his answer, "A Slytherin?" He repeated, his voice sounding shocked and maybe a little disgusted. "You've been flirting with a Slytherin? Of all people Fred, why would you fall for a Slytherin? Merlin, Fred, this is how you're gonna get yourself hurt! She's probably just stringing you along, y'know that don't you? She's just gonna-"
"She's not like that, George!" Fred argued, sitting up to face him properly.
"And how do you know? Huh? How do you know she's not-"
"She isn't like that! She's not like the rest of them... s-she's just... different."
George couldn't believe what he just heard - how cliche his brother sounded. "Different, oh yeah, of course she is. She's different." He criticised, his voice laced with sarcasm as he exasperatedly threw his hands in the air.
"She is," Fred insisted as he began to get even more annoyed. He wasn't even sure why he was defending her - an almost stranger - against his twin. He wasn't sure why he was so certain that she was different; she just felt special to him. She was something new; like an undiscovered land that he desperately wanted to explore, to seek out every flaw, every secret; he wanted to map out every part of her being and declare her as his greatest discovery.
George sighed, wondering what he should do - should he dismiss this whole situation until his brother comes to his senses? Or maybe help him? He could just tease him about this for the rest of forever, that sounds fun. But honestly, he knew the answer already. "Okay," he began hesitantly, "okay, I'm gonna help you, with whatever. You wanna get over her, go out with her, stalk her - doesn't matter, I'll help." Fred looked up at him, relief and hope flashing across his face. "But first I'm gonna need you to tell me everything - and I mean everything, Fred."
