amy's note. hi sweetie, this is amy!!! this is the first story in the fairy tale series, starring sukuna ryomen in the beauty and the beast universe. initially i was going to put sukuna in the cinderella story, just because of the fandom memes (jjk x disney princess), but i think he as an arrogant beast who has never loved anything would make much more sense and fit in better. anyway, that's it, i hope you like it!!!
comments and reblogs are very much appreciated!

𝕺𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐔𝐏𝐎𝐍 𝐀 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄, in a kingdom far away, there was a handsome young prince who lived in a magnificent castle, and even though he had everything he wanted, the prince was spoiled, selfish, and rude. But one winter night, in the middle of a storm, an old woman came to the castle and offered him a simple rose in exchange for shelter from the cold and rain. Disgusted by her ugliness, the prince scoffed at the offer and sent the old woman away. But she advised him not to be deceived by appearances because beauty lies within people and in their hearts, and when he sent her away again, she was transformed into a beautiful enchantress. The prince tried to apologize, but it was too late, as she realized that there was no love in his heart. And as punishment, she turned him into a hideous four-armed monster and plagued the castle and everyone who lived there. Ashamed of his monstrous appearance, the prince hid in the castle with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose she offered was enchanted. It would bloom until the twenty-first year, if he learned to love someone and it was reciprocated by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be undone, otherwise he would be doomed to remain a monster forever. Over the years, he fell into despair and lost all hope. After all, who could love a monster?
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ ㅤ ✶
The day began with a flurry of activity in the small village. Residents greeted each other as they went about their morning chores, and others opened their shops. Y/n, a beautiful young woman, made her way through the crowd with one goal in mind: to get to the village library. After buying some fresh bread and gathering the missing parts for her father's latest invention, the young woman made her way to the small library to return the book she had borrowed last week.
"Good morning, Mr. Higuruma." Y/n said as soon as she saw the man from the shop holding a pile of books. "I'm here to return the book I bought last week."
"Miss Y/n, good to see you again," the brunette said, placing the pile of dusty books on the table in the corner of the shop. "Unfortunately, the delivery of new books has been postponed until next week."
"Oh, no problem." Y/n approached the bookshelf, put the book she had picked up the week before back in its place, and ran her finger along the spines of the other books, looking for one in particular. "I think I'll take this one!" She took the book from the shelf and showed the cover to Higuruma, who just laughed.
"That must be the tenth time you've read that one."
"But this is the best book, certainly my favorite. Distant kingdoms, battles, and a princess who saves the prince. Sometimes, it's hard not to see myself as the protagonist. Living an adventure and finding her true love, something much bigger than life in the country.”
"Since you like this one so much, I'm giving it to you as a present."
"Mr. Higuruma, I can't accept that!" she looked at him, astonished at the idea, while the man in front of her just smiled.
"You're my most loyal customer. You've read all the books I have in the library. And maybe the only one with a real interest in reading."
"Thank you, that's very nice of you." Y/n smiled happily at the gift and the bookseller's gesture.
"You're welcome. Next time I'll have some new books for you!"
"Thank you, Mr. Higuruma!" Y/n waved, smiled, and left the shop. The young woman stared at the cover of the book, the worn blue leather and the worn gold lettering, it was a simple book, but with an extraordinary story behind its simplicity.
The young girl was so busy studying the book that she barely noticed Gaston's not-so-subtle appearance at her side.
"My beautiful lady!" Gaston said, thickening his voice and stopping in front of Y/n, preventing her from continuing on her way.
"Gaston..." she rolled her eyes and looked away from the book in her hands to the man in front of her.
"My beautiful Y/n, when are you going to realize that we are soul mates and forget about these books, which by the way have no figure, how can you like this so much?" He said, taking the object out of the girl's hands and giving her (or trying to give her) a gallant smile.
"Well, you just have to use your imagination while reading and I think you're reading the wrong signals about us," the girl took the book back and turned away from the man, "I have to go now, have a nice day, Gaston."
Y/n walked quickly back to her house, which was a short distance from the village. When she got home, she left the fresh bread on the breakfast table and picked up the tools her father had asked for before going down to where he was conducting his experiments and inventions.
"Dad? I brought what you asked for."
"Thank you, dear!" The girl's father came out from under the machine and took the object his daughter had offered him.
"Dad..."
"Yes, dear?"
"Do you think we'll live here for long?"
"Oh, dear, when I become a great inventor, we'll travel the world!" Her father stepped out from under his invention, ready to finally put it into action. "Let's hope it works, dear!"
As soon as the machine was turned on, the parts began to move and a sound was heard, the axe on top moved down and cut the wood on the bench.
"Dad! It works! Your machine works!" the young woman said excitedly.
"And the axe didn't fly away!"
"Dad, you're going to be a great inventor!" The young girl hugged the older man, finally her father's dream would come true and he would become a great inventor.
"Oh dear! I must run and pack my things to go to the city!" The old man said excitedly, pacing back and forth, "You don't mind being alone for a few days, my child?"
"Of course not, Dad. Go after your dreams." The young woman smiled openly and hugged her father once more. "Come, let's pack your things for the trip."
Together with her father, the girl went up to the house and helped him prepare the small suitcase along with some snacks for his trip to the city. Ever since they had moved to this small village in the countryside, her father had been working tirelessly on various inventions that had failed one after the other, causing his reputation as a madman to grow among the locals. However, she had seen him fail and never give up, that was his dream, to become a great inventor and help people with his inventions and there was nothing that would stop him until he managed to make his inventions work. And if his invention surprised the judges in the competition and managed to win first place, maybe Y/n would not have to settle for a life in the country while her father could work on his "crazy gadgets".
The young woman stroked the horse's copper-brown coat while her father checked the bag with some tools.
"Be careful on your way, Dad." Y/n hugged him and helped him onto his horse.
"I'll be back in a few days, don't worry about me!"
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ ㅤㅤ✶
The next day, Y/n awoke in high spirits, hoping that her father's trip to the city would be smooth and without danger. She put on a simple blue dress and headed for the kitchen, but before she could prepare breakfast, a knock on the door echoed through the house, along with a voice she knew well. On tiptoe, Y/n reached the door and looked through the peephole, seeing Gaston from an unfavorable angle.
"My dear Y/n! Are you home?" Gaston thickened his voice and puffed out his chest, even though no one could see him, "I have an offer you can't refuse!"
The young woman took a deep breath and opened the door with a fake smile on her lips. "Good morning, Gaston. Don't you think it's a little early for one of your proposals?"
"Oh, my beautiful lady, it's never too early for my irrefutable proposal!" Gaston said as he walked past Y/n and sat down in the dining room chair. "You know, my dear, I think you've noticed by now that I'm the best suitor in the village. It would be a shame for you to let me go. And lately, I've been thinking of certain ways to take our relationship a step further."
"Our relationsh–" The young woman's speech was interrupted by Gaston, who abruptly rose from his chair and spoke again.
"Think about it, a little house in the country, a small herd of cattle, a plantation, seven, no, ten children with my beautiful face, and you know what else I see?" Gaston looked at Y/n, but before she could answer, he continued, "My beautiful wife greeting me after a day's hunting.”
"You've been using your imagination a lot..." the young woman whispered to herself.
"And do you know who my wife is that I see in this beautiful future of mine?" Gaston approached the young woman, pressing her against the wall.
"How could I imagine?"
"It's you, my beautiful Y/n."
"Oh, Gaston!" Y/n held back the urge to make an expression of disgust at the scenario the man in front of her was describing, "I'm... flattered...? Yes, flattered by such affection, but I think this is wrong, you know, I think you've made a mistake.”
"How can I be wrong? You're the only one in this village whose beauty is on my level.”
"Beauty? Is that all you care about?" Y/n looked at him confused, she knew Gaston was shallow and self-centered, she just didn't get that he was trying to get her to marry him just because she was "the most beautiful girl in the village".
"And what else should I care about?"
"Well..." The young woman took a deep breath, "I think it's time for you to go... oh, I just heard Lefou say he's spotted a huge, fast deer that can't be caught!”
"A huge, fast deer that can't be caught?" Gaston's eyes widened. "Well, call your crazy father later so we can decide about our marriage."
"That won't be necessary because I'm not marrying you!" Y/n closed the door and locked it with all the locks her father had created. Ignoring Gaston's cry that she would be his one day, the young woman turned, leaned her back against the door, and slid to the floor.
Marry Gaston? It was a terrible nightmare. Not even if Gaston was the last person on earth would Y/n marry him. She had so much to do, so many places to explore, so many people to meet. And if she was going to get married, it certainly wouldn't be to someone as shallow as Gaston; she wanted someone who really liked her and her personality, not her looks.
The girl slowly got up, unlocked the door, and looked outside her house to see if the man had already left and wouldn't come back when he realized the huge deer was a lie. She did, however, notice a familiar copper brown horse galloping quickly toward her house.
"Phillipe?" She left the house, closing the door behind her, and walked toward the animal. "Where's my father, Phillipe?" The girl said, noticing her father's absence and the horse's exhilaration. "Phillipe, take me to my father, please!" Desperate to think of the worst that could happen to her father, the young woman pulled out the cart containing her father's invention and quickly mounted the horse, asking him to lead her down the path to where her father was. Phillipe raced through the dark paths of the forest, causing Y/n to shiver at the eeriness of the forest, while her mind wandered far away, worried about her father's current situation.
Phillipe began to slow down as a huge castle appeared on the horizon. It was so large and terrifying that it looked like something out of a horror book, though it seemed to blend into the desolate landscape around it. But perhaps what intrigued Y/n most was that she had never heard anyone in the village talk about the place ⸻ and it intrigued her even more because the castle didn't seem to be secret at all.
Y/n dismounted and looked around, trying to find the courage to open the gate in front of her. She would be lying to herself if she said she wasn't afraid of this dark, unknown place. But the important thing there wasn't to prove her courage, but to find out where her father was. The gate was cold and made a terrible noise when it opened, but that didn't stop her from continuing.
"Hello!" The young woman said loudly as she entered the castle. "Is anyone here?" She narrowed her eyes, trying to see in the pitch black, but quickly found a lit candelabra. "I'm sorry to barge in uninvited, but I just came to get my father! Please... help me find my father!" Y/n walked aimlessly through the castle, following only her faint intuition of where he might be. "Hello? Is anyone there?" She spotted a staircase that seemed to lead to the top of one of the castle's towers. "Dad, are you there?"
"Y/n, my daughter?" Her father's weak voice called out.
Quickly, Y/n left the chandelier on the stone near the wall and ran to her father, who was trapped. "Dad, what are you doing here?"
"My dear daughter..." the girl's father coughed before continuing, "You must run before he arrests you too..." Before the girl could say anything, footsteps echoed through the room.
"Who's there?" She looked around for the person who had just entered the scene.
"I'm the one asking the questions, impertinent girl." The stranger's gruff voice sent a shiver of fear down the young woman's spine.
"Please let my father go!" The girl pleaded.
"I'm not in the mood for that."
"What? How can you be so cruel? Can't you see he's in bad health?"
"He should have thought twice before he broke into my castle."
"Please let him go! I promise we will never see each other again!"
"Empty promises. I'm not really interested in that."
"Then..." the young woman took a deep breath, "let me take his place."
"My daughter! Don't do this!" her father said with tears in his eyes. How could he lose his daughter right before his eyes.
"Things are getting more interesting..." the person in the darkness laughed. "A fair trade, the old flesh for the new... uh, I'll take that trade, impertinent girl."
Before Y/n could speak, her body was thrown into a cell. The young woman quickly approached the iron bars and watched as her father was brutally removed from where he lay. Her father screamed her name and tried to get away from the person, but it was impossible to escape.
In the darkness, the girl could see the castle owner's back. The broad shoulders were adorned with black lines that ran the length of his back and, most shocking to the young woman, the four muscular arms that protruded from the side of his body.
Y/n was not only the prisoner of a shady castle owner with a serious personality problem but also of a giant monster with four arms who could finish her off with a snap of his fingers.
Minutes later, the owner of the castle reappeared and abruptly opened the door to the cell Y/n was in. The girl looked up at him, her eyes watering, afraid of what might happen to her from this moment on.
"Are you just going to stand there, or are you going to follow me?"
"Where are we going?" she asked confused and scared as she followed the four-armed man.
"The basement..." his voice came out loud and clear, making the young woman shudder. "Shall I take you to a room, or would you rather stay in the tower?"
The girl had no answer, just followed him through the dark corridors of the castle.
"What's your name?" Y/n asked without thinking and quickly pressed her lips together, regretting her sudden action.
"Dinner will be served at eight." He said, opening a door at the end of the corridor, "If you don't come, you won't eat."
"Do you want me to have dinner with you?" the young woman asked him incredulously.
"It's either that or starve to death. You're lucky I'm giving you a choice..." he rolled his (four) eyes.
"I'm not having dinner with you!”
"THEN STARVE!" The four-armed man shouted angrily, frightening the girl, and slammed the door with a loud bang.
The young woman stared at the door in front of her, feeling tears forming in the corners of her eyes. She began to feel overwhelmed and staggered to sit on the bed. She had lost the two most important things to her on the same day: her father and her freedom. Now, she would have to live with an arrogant and rude being. Slowly, she raised her trembling hands to her face and wiped away the hot tears.
"Who's there?" she asked, startled when she heard a knock at the door. The girl got up and opened the bedroom door to find nothing there. She breathed a sigh of relief, but was startled to see a pot of tea and a cup in front of the door. "Tea?"
"Hello, Miss!" The cup said smiling, startling the girl.
"Itadori, what did I say about scaring our guest?" The teapot said, rebuking the cup's attitude.
"I'm sorry, Nanamin, and I'm sorry, Miss, for scaring you.”
"What... what's going on?"
"Forgive our rudeness," the teapot said, "I am Nanami Kento, I work as a mentor for the young Itadori Yuji, who is the younger brother of the master.
"Master?"
"Uh, Sukuna, the big guy with four arms."
"Sukuna..." Y/n whispered his name. The name actually suited him. "So this is like a magic castle?"
"You could say that," Nanami said, "Anyway, we came to ask you if you would like a cup of tea."
"If you don't mind, I'd love to." The teapot approached the cup and poured the warm liquid into it.
"Miss..."
"Please, just call me Y/n."
"As you wish, Y/n." Nanami said, being quite serious for a teapot, "I apologize for Master's inconsiderate and rude attitude."
"Mr. Nanami, please don't apologize for his actions, it's your master who should apologize, not you."
"She's right, Nanamin!" Itadori said with a cheerful voice, "My brother should stop being such a jerk and start learning not to be rude to people!"
"You two are quite different, Itadori," the young woman smiled at the cup in her hand.
"Let's just say I got the good genes from the family."
"Well, I'm afraid we've talked too much already, we have a feast to prepare. Come on, Itadori."
"Do you need any help?"
"Of course not, Y/n, you are our guest of honor!"
The young woman watched as the teapot and cup left the room, then threw herself back onto the bed. She had just been talking to a teapot and a cup... perhaps the things in there were not the most conventional she had ever seen in her life.
Filled with curiosity about the place, Y/n got out of bed and walked almost on tiptoe to the door, slowly opening it. She poked her head out of the room and looked around to see if anyone was guarding the door to the room she was in. When she realized that no one was there, she left the room, closing the door behind her, and began to wander around the castle with a curious look on her face.
This castle was certainly different from all the castles that appeared in the stories in the books she used to read. The decor was gloomy. The curtains looked as if they hadn't been opened for years, leaving everything in a darkness that the young woman was beginning to get used to.
Y/n climbed a flight of stairs and continued her exploration of the place. When she reached a dead-end hallway, she was about to turn around and return to her assigned room, but a faint glow from the slightly open door piqued her curiosity. Before entering the unfamiliar room, she looked around to make sure no one was around and entered, making as little noise as possible.
The darkness of the room prevented her from noticing the clutter and some upside-down furniture in the corner of the huge room, but also the glow of a beautiful rose near the glass door of the balcony that had captivated her. Before she could touch the glass that held the rose, Y/n felt a large, strong hand grab her wrist.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING HERE?" Sukuna's hand closed tighter around Y/n's wrist.
"I was just–"
"I THINK YOU BETTER GET OUT OF MY WAY BEFORE I KILL YOU!" Sukuna let go of the girl's wrist, not caring how much force he used against her, and turned to look at the rose in front of him.
The words frightened Y/n more than Sukuna's tone. Fearing that the threat would become reality, the young woman ran as fast as she could, looking for an exit from the castle.
When she found the huge door, she opened it without a second thought, feeling an icy wind against her body. Her thin dress wasn't enough to keep her warm in the cold or protect her from the falling snow, but it was all she had and she wasn't going back to the castle just to find something to run away with ⸻ the chances of meeting Sukuna were high and something she didn't want at the moment.
A wolf's howl echoed through the forest, and Y/n tried to run as fast as she could in the snow. Her body was freezing more and more with each passing second, and her head was spinning since the only thing she had eaten during the day was the cup of tea Nanami had offered her. Dizzy, the young woman's vision blurred, and she stumbled over a branch that was in her way. Turning around, she saw a wolf staring at her with a hungry look and wished that the animal in front of her wasn't staring at her. But before she could get up and run away in a lousy attempt to save herself from a natural predator, Y/n noticed a huge figure coming up behind the wolf and picking a fight with the animal.
Gradually, the young woman felt her body tremble with fatigue and the cold, but she soon regained some consciousness when she felt large, muscular arms holding her. "You've come to kill me, Sukuna...?" her voice came out weakly.
"Shut up, you impertinent girl."
Before she could respond to Sukuna's words, the young woman felt her body give way completely, and everything went black.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ ㅤㅤ✶
When Y/n finally regained consciousness, she felt something soft underneath her and a pleasant warmth, but the sound of an argument brought her headache back. Sukuna's voice, the only one she could recognize, was loud and angry, and he didn't seem to mind shouting.
"I SWEAR, GOJO, THE NEXT TIME YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH, I'LL MELT YOU INTO LIQUID WAX AND THEN BREAK YOU IN HALF.”
"Master, I'm sorry to bother you."
"WHAT THE FUCK, WHAT'S WRONG, GETO?!"
"Miss has just woken up."
"So you finally decided to wake up?" Sukuna turned to the young woman, his four arms crossed in front of his broad chest, and approached the sofa where she lay.
"What happened?"
"You fainted"
"How long was I unconscious?"
"About three days."
"What?" The girl looked at him, startled by his answer. Could she have been unconscious for so long just because she hadn't eaten?
"It's been two hours at most, now stop complaining because the food is getting cold." Sukuna turned his back to the young woman, allowing her to notice several scratches along his length, surely acquired in his fight with the wolf.
"Excuse me, miss, it is a pleasure to meet you, I am Gojo Satoru, currently your candelabra, but always at your service!" The talking candelabra approached the young woman, "If you would allow me, I would like to take you to the dining room, as some are incapable of doing such kindness!"
"That's very kind of you, Mr. Gojo," Y/n smiled slightly and got up from the sofa, following the chandelier into the dining room. She sat down at the end of the table laden with food and shivered slightly when she saw Sukuna join her in the meal, taking a seat at the other end of the table.
Dinner took place in deep silence, on the one hand there was Sukuna who didn't know how to start a conversation politely and on the other there was Y/n who was in an internal discussion with herself about Sukuna's heroic act of fighting a wolf hand to hand after she had run away. He saved her life even when he didn't have to ⸻ and even after he threatened to kill her.
When she finished her dessert, the girl picked up the glass bowl filled with water and a cloth from the table and slowly approached Sukuna, "Do you mind if I help you with those bruises?" she asked in a low tone, but audible enough for the man to hear.
"Whatever." Though he seemed indifferent to the girl's request, Sukuna moved and turned onto his back, giving her better access to his bruises.
"Does it hurt?" she asked as she dipped the cloth into the water and gently wiped the bruises.
"Not a bit."
"I'm sorry, I'm to blame for what happened to you.”
"I'm glad you know. If you hadn't had the stupid idea to run off in the middle of the night, I wouldn't have been hurt," he said in a rude tone.
"Well, I wouldn't have run away if you hadn't scared me and threatened to kill me."
"And I wouldn't have yelled at you if you hadn't entered the forbidden wing."
"You have never forbidden any wing of the castle, just like you never said I couldn't explore it." The young woman's words left Sukuna speechless. In fact, he had never forbidden her to go to his room. She had done nothing to deserve being cursed and threatened. "You should learn to control your anger. Otherwise, you'll only drive away those who love you." The room fell into such a deep silence that neither of them dared to speak for several minutes. When she had finished cleaning Sukuna's bruises, the girl placed the cloth on the table and turned to leave. "I think I'd better go back to my room. Have a good night," she whispered.
"Y/n..." Sukuna's calm voice brought the young woman to an immediate halt. It was the first time he had called her by name.
“Yes?”
"Have breakfast with me tomorrow."
"Was that supposed to be a request?"
Sukuna rolled all four eyes, "Could you have breakfast with me tomorrow?"
"Yes, we could." she smiled broadly, showing her teeth, amused by Sukuna's frustrated look, "I would love to, thank you for asking."
"Yeah... whatever." Sukuna looked away to some random point. "Go to sleep, impertinent girl."
“Good night, Sukuna.” The young woman smiled openly.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ ㅤㅤ✶
When Y/n rejoined Sukuna the next morning, her first reaction was to examine the cuts on the man's back. The young woman felt guilty about the injuries, for if she had thought twice about what she was doing, the fight might never have happened, and Sukuna might never have been hurt.
Breakfast was eaten in silence, with discreet glances exchanged. For some reason, after being rescued by Sukuna, the young girl had a new vision of the four-armed monster. It's true that he was rude and arrogant most of the time, but there was something about him that had the potential to be a kinder being. Sukuna wasn't purely evil. She could see that at dinner last night when something started to blossom between them. Sukuna, on the other hand, tried to remember that the girl was kind to everyone around her. He was no exception to her kindness and sweet touches.
"I want to show you something." Sukuna said, controlling his tone, which surprised the young woman.
"What is it?" She said curiously.
"Could you..." he sighed deeply "Could you come with me?"
"Of course!" She smiled at Sukuna's attempt to be polite.
Sukuna led the young woman through the castle, which, unlike the day before, had its curtains and windows open and didn't look so frightening in the light.
"This is... an apology... for scaring you yesterday..." Sukuna's voice was lower than usual, and the tips of his ears turned red as he looked away from the girl in front of him. He certainly couldn't look into the young woman's eyes, not when he thought her eyes were as beautiful as the starry sky.
The four-armed man opened the doors in front of him, revealing to Y/n a vast library filled with books from floor to ceiling.
"Oh my! That's wonderful!" Y/n smiled and looked around, "How did you know I liked books?"
"A hunch."
"Sukuna..." The girl approached the man, "I accept your apology, and thank you for showing me this place. I admire you for trying to change." The young woman's hand reached Sukuna's upper right arm, and she gently smoothed the boy's skin under her hand, sending a shock through Sukuna's huge body. "So, which book shall we read first?" she asked after noticing the sudden and strange silence of the man in front of her.
“We?” Sukuna looked at the woman in disbelief.
"Yes, us!" Y/n smiled, pulling Sukuna with some difficulty to look at the books in the large library. "I think we started our relationship in a very bad and strange way, but I think we can change that... if you want to, of course."
"You are too good for this world..." Sukuna whispered.
"What did you say?" Y/n turned to Sukuna, puzzled by what the other had whispered.
"That you talk too much and that you're very curious," he crossed his four muscular arms.
"Aren't you the least bit curious about the world?"
"The world is a cruel place full of arrogant men who dream of being gods, I don't think that arouses my curiosity.”
"You have a very dark view of the world..." The young woman looked at him in surprise.
"It's just reality..." Sukuna shrugged.
"And why don't you try to change that reality?" The girl ran her finger along the back of the books, "Maybe if you looked for a new perspective, you might be surprised by the result."
"I have a feeling I don't have time for this anymore.”
"And why not? There's a whole world of possibilities out there, behind the bars of the castle."
"Do you think I've been stuck in the castle all these years because I want to be? Ever since they turned me into that four-armed monster, I've been hiding. What do you think would happen if I walked around the village like a normal person? People would hunt me down and try to kill me.
"I'm sorry, I hadn't thought of it that way..." Y/n stared at the floor as she clutched the book in her hands, ashamed that she had never thought of it from that perspective.
"Whatever"
"Why did you turn into a monster?" The girl's words were out of her mouth before she could think twice. "Oh, I'm sorry for being so pushy."
"An old witch cursed me..." Sukuna shrugged as he sat down on one of the sofas in the library.
"And there's no way to break the spell?"
"It's more complicated than you think..."
"Sukuna... why are you hiding under this rude and arrogant personality?" The young woman approached him and sat down beside him.
"I've always been like this, so stop giving me a hard time." He rolled his eyes and looked away from the girl.
"You can trust me, I won't tell anyone. Everything you tell me here will stay here." She put her hand on Sukuna's hand, which was resting on his thigh.
"Which book did you get?" he asked, diverting the subject.
"One of adventure and romance," the young woman smiled, respecting the man's decision not to talk about his past, "would you like to read it with me?"
Sukuna sat down on the sofa with a false expression of disinterest and watched as Y/n smiled excitedly as she opened the book, ready to tell her favorite story to the man next to her.
Neither Sukuna nor the young woman noticed the passage of time, and they were only slightly surprised when Geto, the clock, and Gojo, the candelabra, entered the library to announce that lunch was served.
They ate lunch and dessert in silence, both afraid to break the pleasant atmosphere between them. When they returned to the library to finish the story, the young woman noticed the snow falling outside the castle.
"Sukuna... instead of reading again, why don't we go outside and enjoy the weather?" The young woman suggested with a slight smile on her face.
"Do you want to go outside?"
"Come on, it'll be cool!"
After they were properly warmed up (this was the first time the young woman had seen the boy with some kind of cloth covering his upper body), they both went out side by side into the castle's huge garden. Slowly, the girl walked away from Sukuna, and suddenly, in her actions, she bent down and picked up a handful of snow in her hands, forming a ball, and then hit the four-armed man in the face.
"Is this a request for war?" Sukuna bent down to form two snowballs with his four hands.
"Are you telling me you're too old to have fun?" she smiled, hiding behind a tree as she made another snowball.
A snowball fight ensued, with the young woman laughing every time she hit Sukuna with a ball. Y/n ran through the snow, laughing awkwardly, until she felt her body thrown to the ground and pinned by a body more than twice her size.
"What? Have you run out of things to do, you impertinent girl?" Sukuna smiled sideways, bringing a blush to the girl's cheeks beneath him.
"If you stand over me like that, it won't be as much fun..." Y/n looked away.
"Ah, but I find it very funny," he laughed anasally. One of his hands reached for the girl's chin, pulling her face (gently) so that she was facing him again.
"You have beautiful eyes..." the girl whispered, but because of the short distance between them, Sukuna was able to hear her perfectly.
"All four eyes? Or just a pair?" He smiled provocatively but was secretly curious to hear the girl's answer.
"Hm, I meant all four."
Sukuna's heart skipped a beat and he felt a warm feeling grow in his chest. He knew from the moment he saw her that his heart had chosen her, it was as if it broke into song every time she appeared in his field of vision. He knew he was lost the moment she was kind enough to take care of a monster like him and tend to his wounds. But there was still a problem. There had to be reciprocity, and he knew it wouldn't be possible to be loved, not by someone like her. In the end, she was his salvation and his downfall.
Sukuna stepped down from the young woman and lay down on the snow beside her, looking up at the clear, cloud-filled sky. "My parents never loved me. They said I was useless, a scum, a terrible curse in their lives. They never cared about me or Itadori."
"You deserve so much more, Sukuna, I can see it now." Y/n turned her head to meet the man's face in profile. "It can't have been easy, but I'm glad that you're here now," by my side, she added mentally.
“Y/n…”
“Yes, Sukuna?”
"Is there anything you've always dreamed of doing if you were in a castle?"
"Ah, well, there's only one thing I always dreamed of when I read fantasy books..."
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ ㅤㅤ✶
"That dress looks magnificent on you, miss!" Shoko, the wardrobe, said with a slight smile on her face, she had chosen a long, voluminous yellow dress that looked like gold.
"I love the dress," the young woman smiled sweetly and smoothed the skirt with her gloved hands, "It's the most beautiful dress I've ever seen. Thank you for helping me, Shoko."
"Go ahead, dear." Shoko said with her calm tone and a lazy smile on her lips, "Have fun with Master Sukuna."
Y/n left the room, feeling her heart beating hard against her chest. It was as if the organ was ready to jump out of her body and run away. Perhaps the girl was worried about the extent to which her feelings had grown since meeting Sukuna ⸻ and especially after the new vision she had after being saved by him. Though he had his monstrous appearance and rough manner to keep his vulnerability from being exposed, the girl knew that deep down, Sukuna could be good and kind.
"Not bad." Sukuna smiled sideways as he met the girl in the hall. He was wearing one of his prince suits, which had been transformed for this very situation.
"Can you really dance?" she asked, trying not to sound so doubtful about the supposed waltzing skills of the man in front of her.
"Since I was five years old." Sukuna replied, taking the girl's hand and placing it on his shoulder while holding her other hand tightly. His lower arms found a place around her waist together with the upper one that was already there. "Are you ready?"
"Yes." She said with a smile.
The music echoed around the room, and Sukuna led Y/n, swaying from side to side until the girl got used to the dance moves. Their eyes met for a moment, and Sukuna lost himself in the depth and brilliance of the woman's eyes before him. The man had always found her beautiful, ever since that dimly lit night in the tower when they first met, she was certainly the most beautiful woman in his eyes, there was no beauty that could compare to hers. As time passed, Sukuna realized that her outward beauty was perhaps only comparable to her own inner beauty, which managed to be much more beautiful. Y/n was much more than a pretty face, her manner, her personality, and her admirable kindness and empathy were some of the things about her that enchanted him every moment he spent with her. And sometimes he thought that maybe he could have a place next to her, even with his monstrous appearance and questionable personality ⸻ she always made him want to be the best version of himself, even if he didn't know what that was yet.
"Y/n..." Sukuna's voice came out with a softness that startled him, "I want to take the chance to tell you something."
"You can tell me anything you want, I'm all ears."
"I..."
"MASTER! MASTER!" Gojo, the candelabra, ran toward the couple, who were lost in their own world.
"What is it, Gojo?" Sukuna's voice came out harsher than the tone he had used before.
"The castle is being attacked!" Gojo said in despair.
"By whom?" Sukuna's hands tightened slightly around the girl's waist, pulling her closer to his body.
"I think they are villagers, and your father is with them." Gojo turned to the young woman.
"My father? Is my father here?"
"Yes, but it looks like he's under arrest."
"Gojo, take Y/n to a safe place. If they want to come, let them come."
"What? But what about you, Sukuna?" the young woman looked at him worriedly.
"Don't worry, just do as I say." Sukuna slowly released the woman from his arms. "I'll take care of any disturbances, just stay safe."
"But I don't want to leave you."
"You're not leaving me, you're just protecting yourself from danger. That's what's best for you."
"I can decide what's best for me!"
"I'm well aware of that." Sukuna laughed weakly, "Just let me take care of it, and I'll get back to you safely."
"Promise me?"
"I promise."
The young woman followed Gojo to one of the farthest rooms in the castle, promising the chandelier that she would stay there until everything was settled. As soon as Gojo left, Y/n paced the room, thinking of a plan to rescue her imprisoned father. Sukuna and the castle staff would be busy fighting the townspeople, and it would be the perfect time for her to act in secret.
Determined, she opened the glass door leading to the balcony and assessed the distance; fortunately, she wasn't too high up to take a fatal fall. She opened the wardrobe and took out all the cloth she could find, tying the end of each into a tight knot to make a makeshift rope. With the rope in her hand, she threw it across the balcony, tying one end to the railing. A little clumsy, this being the first time she had done anything so radical, she jumped off the balcony, holding tightly to her rope, and climbed down calmly, looking straight up. Once on the ground, Y/n ran as fast as she could, looking for an exit ⸻ or entrance ⸻ that would lead her to the castle gates.
"Dad!" she cried in a low tone so as not to draw attention to herself when she spotted a cart stopped near the entrance to the castle.
"Daughter?" Her father's weak voice caught her attention.
"Dad!" she ran to the wagon, worried. "Are you all right?"
"I wonder if you're alright! Did Gaston manage to save you?"
"Gaston?" she asked as she searched for a stone to break the lock.
"Yes! When I returned to the village, I asked Gaston and the others to help me free you from that monster."
"Dad, Sukuna is not a monster!" The girl used all her strength and smashed the stone against the padlock, breaking the object and freeing her father.
"How is he not a monster, dear?"
"He's kind and brave, he can be polite when he wants to be. I realized that he's not a monster." The young woman hugged her father.
"Oh dear, you're in love with him..." the older man said more like a statement than a question.
"What? No, we're just friends." She looked away, embarrassed by her father's words.
"I think we'd better stop Gaston then, he's come with the intention of killing him," her father said worriedly.
"What?" she looked at her father wide-eyed, "Father, stay here, please!" The woman grabbed the hem of her dress and ran to the castle entrance, watching the chaos unfold around her. The townspeople were fighting the castle furniture, which was actually its bewitched inhabitants.
"Miss!" Gojo's voice caught the young woman's attention. "You're supposed to be in your room. What are you doing here? Master Sukuna will kill me if he finds out you're not safe!"
"I have to find Sukuna," she said desperately, climbing the stairs, "Gaston will attack him, I can't let that happen!"
"But Miss, that's dangerous!" Gojo tried to stop the girl, but to no avail.
"And Sukuna is in danger!"
The young woman ran until her feet hurt, and when she reached the hall where she and Sukuna had danced minutes before, as if they were the only two in the world. However, the sound of a gunshot and an agonizing scream caught the girl's attention and pulled her out of her thoughts.
“SUKUNA!”
"Y/n?" Sukuna turned to the girl, looking frightened, as if he had seen a ghost.
"Gaston..." the young woman whispered as she saw the brunette stand up and point his gun in Sukuna's direction.
Without thinking, the young woman ran up to Gaston and threw herself on him, knocking the gun out of his hands. Y/n stood up and threw the gun out of Gaston's reach.
"Oh, my beautiful lady! I've finally found you! Your father has been worried about your disappearance!" Gaston stood up with a smile, "If you'll excuse me, I have a monster to kill!"
"He's not a monster, Gaston!"
"Oh dear, don't tell me you're going to defend that monster?"
"Like I said, he's not a monster. And if anyone is the monster here, it's you, Gaston!"
"What did you say?"
"That you are the monster here!"
"You bitch–" Before he could finish his speech, Gaston punched Y/n in the face, and as the girl fell to the floor in surprise at the sudden impact, the man kicked her in the stomach, sending her rolling across the floor of the hall. And before Gaston could do anything, Sukuna punched him in the face.
"I'll make sure you never lay a finger on her again." Sukuna grabbed Gaston's neck and led him out onto the balcony.
"Please! Please don't kill me!"
"You should have thought twice before you touched her with your filthy fingers."
"Sukuna!" The young woman's voice made Sukuna lose focus on the man he was holding by the neck. "Don't kill him!"
"But he-"
"Please"
Sukuna took a deep breath and looked back at the man, who was almost out of breath. Sukuna left Gaston on the ground, coughing to catch his breath as he turned and headed for the girl on the ground, but something hit him in the side of his body. He staggered backward in fear, seeing the dagger in his waist, and fell with someone else. Gaston, who was behind Sukuna, overbalanced and fell off the balcony, letting out a pained and desperate scream.
"SUKUNA!" Y/n ran over to the man crouched on the ground.
"Are you all right?" Sukuna asked, reaching for the young woman's warm cheeks."You should be safe. Why are you here?"
"I was scared..."
"How could an impudent girl like you be afraid?" The man smiled provocatively as he lay on his back on the floor, feeling the blood run down his side.
"I went to save my dad," Y/n controlled the urge to cry, "and I wanted to know if you were okay."
"Did you really think I would lose to a guy like that?"
"Sukuna... I'm scared..."
"It's okay, I'm here. I promised I wouldn't leave, I'll keep that promise."
"I want to be with you... by your side." The young woman leaned down, resting her cheek against the man's bare chest.
"Y/n... I have something to tell you." Sukuna felt his heart beating heavily against his chest.
"Hmm?"
"I love you."
"Do you..." Y/n stood up in surprise and looked at Sukuna, "Do you love me?"
"Very much."
"I... I love you too." A broad smile formed on the girl's lips.
Sukuna's hand reached Y/n's face before reaching her neck and pulling her into a soft kiss. Sukuna's heart, which had been celebrating the mutuality of the girl's feelings, melted as soon as the young woman's soft, delicate lips met his ⸻ a warm, comfortable feeling settled in his chest. When they pulled away, Sukuna found his forehead on hers, and their breaths became one. Slowly, Y/n pulled away and opened her eyes, surprised by the sight before her.
"Sukuna... you..."
"What about me?" The man looked uncertainly at the woman before him.
"You no longer have four arms and four eyes!"
"What?" He stood up quickly and looked down at himself. The wound from Gaston's dagger had disappeared, as had a pair of arms. Around him, the castle was angelic and glowing again, shedding its monstrous appearance.
The spell was broken.
And he was free again.
"Thank you..." Sukuna hugged Y/n tightly.
"Why do you thank me?" The young woman broke the hug and got up from the ground, standing in front of Sukuna.
"For loving me even when I was a monster." His voice was lower than usual. Maybe he wasn't quite used to all this new feeling.
"As I said, you deserve many of the good things the world has to offer."
"Speaking of which, I think we can get to know the world now, as you said, look for new perspectives."
"We?"
"And why shouldn't we?"
"You really want to take me with you to see the world?" Y/n looked at him excitedly.
"I promised to stay by your side, didn't I? And by the way, I don't think I could have a better partner than you to look for a new perspective on things." Sukuna smiled and pulled Y/n around her waist, pressing their lips together once more in a sweet, quiet kiss. "I want you by my side, forever."
"If you thought that impertinent girl would ever let you go, you thought wrong." Y/n wrapped her arms around Sukuna's neck, bringing their faces closer as she smiled, "I love you too much to let you go. Whether you're human or monster, I'll stay by your side, forever."
"Just so you know, there's no turning back. You'll be by my side forever from now on." Sukuna smiled teasingly.
"That doesn't sound like a bad idea." The young woman quickly sealed her lips with Sukuna's.
Sukuna was free of a spell that condemned him for his past actions, and now he would fall under the spell that was the love he felt for the girl in front of him without any regrets.

LETHIA
The wind whipped widely through my hair, smacking me in the face, as my limbs thrashed around with such force I cringed in pain. I could see the clouds out of the corner of my eyes as I fell through them, with no sense of comfort protecting me. I choked on a sob when I noticed parts of my long, golden, hair was being singed from the rate of the fall. I held my hands in front of my face to watch in horror as the once short nails grew in length and darkness.
“Wh-what?”
How did it get like this? All because I chose to follow someone else instead of the almighty King? How was that fair? I’d been loyal since creation, one of his most loyal servants, but the second I thought of something different than the divine plan, He cast me away.
“Leth, follow me to the ends of the darkness. For we can create our own Kingdom and rule.”
My eyes screwed shut at the familiar voice as my throat burned with the thought of him. I couldn’t help but wonder if he was close by, surely he had to be. I was thrown from the Kingdom first, Lucifer not far behind.
The air around me began to thicken, grasping around my throat with such force, that I clawed there with my newly fresh nails. Blood dripped from the wounds but none of that mattered to me; I simply stared up towards the sky where my former home disappeared through the clouds. I could try and climb my way back, as far as my wings would allow. But I knew, like Icarus, if I climbed too high to the sun, I’d fall into the unknown jungle below.
Icarus was a fool.
My ears rang loudly from the sudden change in altitude and I looked towards the left, almost crying out when I took in the most recent alter to my appearance. Bright wings that mirrored the colors of the clouds surrounding me were no longer pure. No, they were dark with the tellings of my betrayal.
“My King, forgive me!” I cried out seconds before my body fell to the hard soil below; darkness overtaking my vision.

NOAH
Slamming the car door shut with a long sigh,  I walked from the street, up to my house. I took in the variety of cars, realizing that one of the guys must have invited a few people over tonight. Usually, I never minded when we had small get-togethers, but tonight I did mind. It wasn’t anything anyone in particular did, my mind was just filled with the same dream I’d had the last seven nights in a row.
Black feathers. Even darker hair. Cream-colored skin. And vibrant red eyes.
At first, I chalked it up to being a random dream but as the nights progressed, the dream continued with the same figure.
One night they were sitting on the edge of my bed. The following night, they were perched on top of the roof of my house, watching the street below. Last night, the figure was in bed with me as my lips trailed over the curvaceous lumps of her breasts.
I ran a hand over my face as I neared the front door, taking a deep and steady breath. I thought about asking my therapist about these dreams but now that they were getting more intimate, I decided against it.
“It's just a dream, Noah,” I told myself while my hand reached for the door.
A groan halted my movements and I turned swiftly on my heels back towards the driveway. But all I heard was silence; besides the loud music coming from inside the house.
Shrugging, I took one final step towards the threshold until a groan sounded again, only this time louder. It sounded as if a large bird fell from the tree hanging overhead, feathers fluttering in the air.  I dropped my bag on the front porch before taking the steps back down two at a time towards where I heard the groans of pain; in between Jesse’s and Orie’s cars parked in the driveway.
“Fuck,” I cursed seeing the crumbled body.
Head snapped to the side, dark tendrils of hair covering her face, and an arm draped over her midsection. I winced as I saw the contortment of it, knowing that it had to be broken.
Where the hell did she come from?
There was a sudden surge that spread from my heart to every vein inside of me; flowing through in shocking waves. I couldn’t place it but seeing this figure in front of me, there was something so familiar about it; her. A painful groan fell from her lips and I breathed in relief, almost forgetting to check if she was alive. I’d been so entranced in her familiarity.
Gently scooping the body up into my arms, the dark hairs fell away from her face and I sucked in a breath when I noticed there were fresh cut marks along her cheek, and blood dripping from her ears. I rushed her inside, gaining stares from my roommates, who immediately stopped the music.
“What the fuck?” Orie’s voice was raised.
I shook my head while setting her on the couch in our living room. “I don’t know, man.”
Our house was packed with random faces; some I recognized, others I didn’t. I knew there was a party tonight but suddenly, I wanted everyone that didn’t live here out.
Folio, who noticed my expression, waved a finger in the air. “Alright, I think it’s time to end this party. Thanks for coming, everyone!”
Pretty quickly, everyone who didn’t live there or weren’t part of Bad Omens left the house.
“Where did you find her?” Nick asked.
I hesitated. “That’s the thing. I found her lying broken in the driveway.”
“The driveway?” Jolly gasped. “How long had she been out there?”
I shrugged while brushing away the stray hairs from her face, hearing a soft but painful breath falling from her dry, cracked lips. My eyes grazed down the line of her neck down to the swell of her breasts that were barely covered by the tattered black shirt; it looked as if it was burned off. I tossed a blanket over her to help cover her modesty.
Something glinted in my vision and I looked back at her neck to see a golden chain hanging loosely between the valley of her breasts. My heart dropped to my stomach as the reality slammed into me.
I’ve seen this chain before; in my dreams. My lips tasted that chain in my dreams.
My hands shook at my side as a shaky breath escaped from my throat and Jolly called my name.
“Hm, what?” I turned to look at him.
He ran a hand through his hair. “Should we call the police? She looks like she’s been attacked.”
“No,” I said a little too suddenly. “She just needs a place to rest. We don’t know what happened. I’ll ask when she wakes up.”
I slowly sunk into the chair across from the couch, resting my elbows on my knees, watching the rise and fall of her chest to make sure she was still breathing.
Jesse stared down at her from behind the couch and let out a low whistle. “It’s a miracle that she’s even breathing right now. We should probably wrap her arm. It could be broken.”
Just then, Michael returned with our first aid kit and handed it to me. I took it with a small smile and started rummaging through it to look for the hydrogen peroxide and cotton balls. The least I could do while she slept was clean the wounds on her face.
The softness of her face twisted as the sting of peroxide sunk deep within her wounds and when a whimper fell from her lips, my cock twitched in my jeans. Images of her lying spread wide in my bed for me flashed in my mind and I did my best to push them to the back of my brain.
“How did she end up in the driveway? Looking like this?” Orie asked as he finished wrapping up her arm.
“I don’t know,” I sighed while sitting back in my chair, eyes still trained on her. “With how I found her, it looks like she fell from somewhere.”
Jolly shook his head as he sat on the armrest of the couch, also watching the stranger. “That doesn’t even make sense.”
All seven of us stood around the body laying on the couch, wondering and watching to see if she would wake.
“Maybe she’s an angel,” Jesse snorted, trying to ease the sudden tension.
“Angels don’t exist,” my eyes snapped up towards him.
Jesse held his hands up. “It’s a joke, Noah. But you have to admit it’s a little weird.”
I ran a hand over my jaw and nodded. “I know. I couldn’t leave her out there, though. Once she wakes up, I’ll take her wherever she wants.”
“Luce,” the woman croaked out, head turning towards the side.
Her voice rang out in song, echoing throughout the house, and my heart rose in my throat hearing how eternal it sounded. I barely knew anything about her but I couldn’t ignore the way my soul felt connected to her. Maybe it was because of seeing this form in my dreams or fate that I found her in my driveway, almost as if I was destined to help her.
“What did she say?” Nick questioned.
Folio shrugged while leaning over her. “Luce? Maybe that’s her name?”
Suddenly, her eyes snapped open and with one swift movement, the woman had her legs wrapped around Folio’s midsection and him pinned to the ground. Her good forearm was pressed deep into his neck while he lay frozen underneath her.  All of us were on our feet but none made a move to stop her, not knowing if it would ultimately help or make things worse.
“Who are you?”
The venom in her voice was cold as ice.
“Ni-Nick,” Folio choked out.
The woman tilted her head towards him. “Where am I?”
Taking a tentative step towards her, I placed a soft hand on her shoulder. “I found you outside.”
It was as if my touch meant nothing to her, eyes still burning deep into Folio. It wasn’t until I spoke again that she finally noticed I was touching her.
“You’re hurt. I brought you inside to help you.”
Before I could register what happened, I felt myself being pinned up against the front door, fiery red eyes staring deep into my soul. With all the doubt that plagued my mind the last hour as I watched her sleep on the couch, I tried to tell myself that I didn’t know who she was. It was all a coincidence that parts of her reminded me of the figure I dreamed of.
But the moment I saw those bright red eyes, I knew that all the doubt was wrong. This was the same woman I dreamed of the last seven nights.

LETHIA
With my nails digging into the fresh skin of the man in front of me, I assessed every inch of his face. The brown eyes widened in slight horror when my nails dug deeper and I took in the way his lips parted, breaths coming out broken. His long hair was held back by a clip but strands still fell into his face and I cocked my head to the side when I realized something drastic.
Well, a few things.
First, I couldn’t feel my hand around this man's throat. I squeezed harder, my face twitching in anger, when I still couldn’t feel his skin underneath my grasp. I expected to feel the erratic thrum of his pulse or his Adam's apple dip low as he swallowed.
Instead, I felt nothing.
No. It couldn’t be.
I’ve heard tales of this happening to the Fallens but I never believed it to be true.  An old folks tale the other Archangels discussed over a cup of wine.
My eyes blinked as I slowly removed my hand from the man’s throat, fingers shaking with the realization. The dark nails mocked me for my failure, scolding me for taking the darkness over the light.
The second thing I realized? I’ve seen this face before. Moments before I fell, it flashed in my mind like a photograph, every fucking detail. The long brown hair, bright brown eyes to match, the freckles that littered over his nose and cheeks, the tattoo that wrapped around his throat where my fingers were moments before; a snake, apples, and hands.
How metaphorical.
“What’s going on with me?” I muttered bringing my hand to my chest, noticing it was wrapped in some kind of material.
“You hurt your arm, we wrapped it for you,” a different voice spoke.
My head snapped to the left, seeing another man slowly approach me. His voice sounded different than the others and I narrowed my eyes at him.
“You’re not from around here,” I noted.
A snort sounded from behind me causing me to whirl my body towards it, seeing yet another strange man staring at me.
“Not from around here? Who talks like that?”
Someone smacked him in the chest. “Michael, don’t be an asshole.”
“I’m just saying, Nick. She wakes up in our home and attacks two of our friends. Are we supposed to allow that? We don’t even know her fucking name.”
My tongue clicked against my teeth. “Lethia.”
Various sets of eyes stared at me until the man who had an attitude spoke.; Michael.
“I’m sorry, what?”
“My name-,” I spoke slowly. “-Is Lethia.”
Michael snorted. “Well, Lethia, where the hell did you come from?”
Giving him a wave of my hand, I decided it wasn’t worth answering that question only because none of these men deserve to know.
“Who’s Luce?”
I snapped my eyes towards the man I had pinned against the door, heart stuttering in my chest. “Excuse me?”
He rubbed at the fresh red marks on his neck. “You said it in your sleep.”
Lucifer.
I licked my lips, widely shaking my head. “I need to leave.”
A soft voice called to me. “We can take you back home.”
This man had a buzzed head and a beard. “Although, you should get those injuries checked out.”
“I’ll heal,” I answered honestly.
Lethia, come to me.
I gazed around the room to see if that voice belonged to any of the seven of them although I knew it didn’t. I knew exactly who uttered those words.
“I have to go.”
The man from my vision stood tall against the door, not allowing me to leave. My jaw ticked with anger and I motioned behind him.
“Move.”
His brow raised. “That’s a funny way of saying thank you for saving your life.”
“Thank you?” I chuckled darkly. “You simply did nothing for me except keep me prisoner in this home.”
“Prisoner?” It was his turn to chuckle. “I fucking found you in my driveway, broken and bruised. The least you can do is tell us what the hell happened!”
They’ll never understand. Mere mortals never did.
I might not understand where I was but I knew mortals when I saw one. Their smell was different than angels; some were stronger than others. Except for the man blocking my way out. It was different, his aura, and I didn’t want to admit it but it drew me into him. There had to be a reason why I saw him mere seconds before I fell from the Kingdom.
The two of us were unmoving, not wanting to break first, and one of the men must have felt the tension because one gently stepped between us; the one that sounded different from the rest.
“Noah, let her go.”
Something fluttered in my stomach and I nearly shook with the unknown feeling. Never in my life had I felt something like this, even during my time with Lucifer. But with this mortal, Noah, it was entirely something new and it scared me to the depths of hell.
Noah scrunched his face with anger but eventually stepped to the side, allowing me to leave.
“Thank you,” I mocked with a slight curl to my lip; more like a snarl.
After two steps toward the door, I froze when something caught my attention out of the corner of my eyes. Titling my head towards the glass, my reflection stared back at me and I gasped at what I saw.
Short black hair, black ink covering almost every inch of skin across my shoulders and arms, my shirt barely hanging one by a thread, and what shocked me the most were my eyes; crimson red, not the vibrant violet.
“No, it can’t be,” I brought my shaking hand to my mouth.
Suddenly,  an ear-piercing ringing dug deep in my ears and I brought my hands to them, screwing my eyes shut. My head throbbed in pain as if someone was scratching their claws there. With one eye open, I noticed Michael held some kind of device in his hand.
“Wh-what is that dreaded noise?” I stuttered.
“A phone? Fuck, how hard did you hit your head?”
A what?
When the ringing stopped, I stood taller and for the first time, took in my surroundings. Everything in this home looked different than how we lived in the Kingdom. While we had advantaged technology, we simply didn’t have things of this nature.
“None of this makes sense,” I whispered to myself before my eyes landed on a small device on a table.
October 12, 2021.
I nearly stumbled on my feet when everything began to click into place. Someone during my fall, I landed in a time that hadn’t existed yet.
Noah could tell something was off because he turned towards me, a frown pulling at his lips. “Are you alright?”
Without saying another word, I left in such haste, I hadn’t realized what I left behind in my wake.
Tumblr media
NOAH
My eyes stared at the space in front of me, the door wide open as it let in the cool night air. Those red eyes haunted me in Lethai’s wake and my skin crawled when an old dream crept back into my consciousness.
I lay in my bed, bare for her to see, Lethia’s tongue traced down my chest and then stomach to brush across my navel. I gripped her dark hair, wrapping it around my fingers to guide her head farther down. My cock throbbed with such an ache, I was sure it wouldn’t last. Beads of precum slipped from the slit and Lethia’s tongue danced around it, tasting me.
“Fuck,” I cursed as my eyes fluttered shut in ecstasy.
“Look at me, Noah.”
My eyes snapped open at Lethia’s firm tone and felt my heart stop dead in my chest; her eyes were glowing red.
“Noah!”
Breaking free from my trance, I gazed over to Orie. “Did you say something?”
“We did all we could, man. There’s no use dwelling on it.”
He patted my shoulder before they all dispersed into their sections of the house. But not me, I remained frozen in my spot, still staring at the vast darkness past the threshold. There was something just outside the realm of that darkness that caught my eye, it fluttered in the wind until it fell to the concrete just outside the door.
With furrowed brows, I bent low to pick it up, analyzing it with curious eyes. It was a black feather, at least twelve inches in length, and the softness of it was something I’d never felt before.
“Who are you, Lethia?” I murmured to myself, holding the feather close to my chest.

Following the cow!Hob/cat!Dream and warprize brainrot - 1689 AU?
King Hob is mentally and physically defeated when he’s bound and dragged into Dream’s throne room to be given as a gift. He’d fought as long as he could, but the final siege had left him scrawny and gaunt. Queen Eleanor and Prince Robyn had succumbed to fever so recently that his chest is still swollen with milk despite his poor condition. He’s expecting that whatever they’re going to do to him, he won’t survive much longer.
King Dream seems unimpressed with this gift from Burgess’s warmongering kingdom, but his interest is clearly piqued when he scents the fresh milk staining wet patches on Hob’s thin tunic. He beckons for the cow to be brought closer, then slashes the fabric in half with one sharp claw. Hob blushes at this latest torment - he’s already lost everything and now he’s standing in front of this court with his tits out on display.
Of course his embarrassment isn’t complete yet - King Dream leans forward and licks delicately at one plump nipple with his rough tongue and Hob moans involuntarily, deep and lowing. King Dream’s eyes flick up to meet his as he carefully takes the nipple in his mouth and suckles deeply - Hob discovers what a humiliation kink is when he realises he’s hard in his breeches. Dream drinks his fill, purring the whole time, before ordering this cow to be taken to his personal chambers.
As he’s dragged away, milk-stained tunic flapping around his bare breasts, Hob’s not so sure he’s ready for death to take him just yet - he’s got so much to live for!
🐙
Poor sweet Hob 😭😭 he's having such a rough day.
But. It gets better. Once he's deposited in the cat King's personal chambers, Hob is immediately tended to by Dream’s closest personal servants. Jessamy kindly removes his ruined and stained clothes, without any judgement towards his state of arousal. Hob is then thoroughly bathed (the servants are clearly expecting a fight over this, but Hob is not a cat - he quite enjoys his soak in the warm water). He's so sleepy by that point, but then he's served a lovely dinner (the cat people do at least realise that Hob is a strict vegetarian) and of course he's starving, so he foregos sleep in favour of eating his fill for the first time in many months.
Dream comes to his chambers and finds his new cow companion spread out and snoring on the royal bed. This brings a smile even to the King's face, and he dismisses the servants silently before climbing up onto the bed and curling around Hob. Despite the recent hardships Hob is still pleasingly soft and Dream purrs in contentment as he settles in for the night.
Next morning Hob wakes to the familiar sensation of a hungry mouth at his teat, and he almost imagines that he's back with Eleanor and Robyn... but he quickly remembers the true circumstances. Its not so bad though. Soft, warm paws are kneading gently against Hob’s thighs, and it's like a nice massage. It's not long before Hob is hard again, and this time there's nothing to preserve his dignity. One of those soft paws moves upwards, and all two soon Hob’s cock in being thoroughly petted by Dream. And the king doesn't stop sucking away on his tits until there's nothing left to give.
Hob discovers that now, his purpose is to sate the cat King's thirst. No longer a king in his own right, he exists only to please Dream. And yet, there's something rather freeing about that. Not to mention, Dream seems to be generous, and fascinated by Hob’s pleasure... perhaps he'll be more than just a source of milk for the King after all...

Every Part of the Animal by Askance (doomcountry), komodobits [Mature, 47k words] #major character death
It’s their first case after the Trials, after Heaven has collapsed: playing back-up to another team of hunters taking out some werewolves in the mountains. It's a routine job, an easy job - at least until the radio goes silent. Sam, Dean, and Cas follow after, but the caves into which the hunters have vanished wind deeper and darker than they could have expected, and something is wrong. Cas can feel it. The Winchesters may not believe what he’s hearing, but there's something down here with them—and it's not the people they came here to find, and it's not the werewolves they've been tracking. It's something else, something older, something violent, and it knows they're here.
Grey by Valinde (Valyria) [Explicit, 65k words] #angst with a happy ending

Man in the Wilderness by OneHundredSuns [Explicit, 68k words] #angst with a happy ending
Dean Winchester is fresh out of Purgatory along with every other Tom, Dick and Wendigo that called the cesspool home. As the monsters lay waste to the Earth and eat anything they can get their hands on, Dean sets out to find his only remaining family so that they can hunker down and fight the assholes head on. He doesn’t mean to stumble upon Castiel Novak and his adorable twins in the middle of the apocalypse and he sure as hell doesn’t mean to offer them a ride to wherever they are trying to get to. But the world is a dangerous place now and he’s always been a sucker for blue eyes and cute kids. So he’ll help them out and just hope it doesn’t get him or them killed in the process.
Ninety One Whiskey by komodobits [Explicit, 401k words] #angst with a happy ending
In the spring of 1944, the 104th Medical Battalion of the United States Army is disbanded, and its men reassigned to various infantry companies in preparation for their invasion of occupied France. For First Lieutenant Novak, this is less than helpful, as he has so far met his platoon’s designated medic a grand total of twice, and has both times found Sergeant Winchester to be the optimum combination of reckless, arrogant, and downright insufferable so as to make cohesive platoon function near impossible. When the time comes to move out, however, Castiel has to reconcile himself to the fact that men are going to go down and trust that Dean Winchester may well be the only person who can put them back together again. WW2 ETO infantry AU.
Right Where You Left Me by outdean [Explicit, 93k words] #angst with a happy ending
Ten years after the empty swallows Cas up, it spits him right back out—but a lot can change in a decade. OR The "Cas comes back from the empty to find that Dean is married" fic.
The Benjamin Franklin Key-and-Kite Experiment by beerenee [Explicit, 122k words] #angst with a happy ending
“Thank you for stopping by, Dean,” Emmanuel says, holding out the jacket. “I hope to see you in church on Sunday.” The tips of Dean’s fingers accidentally brush over the back of Emmanuel’s hand when he reaches for the jacket. “Probably not,” Dean laughs as he pulls Dad’s jacket around him. “Like I said before, I’m not exactly a believer. You?” Emmanuel doesn’t answer immediately. Then, without really looking at Dean (more like looking through him,) he whispers, “I will be.” Or 1.12 but Dean's faith healer is Emmanuel!Cas
the inexhaustible silence of houses by Askance (doomcountry) [Teen, 31k words] #unhappy ending
Almost two years after the world doesn't end, Castiel falls from grace—and loses his voice in the process. It is the impetus for confession and change; before long, he is settling into a loving relationship with Dean, the Winchesters are tired, and hunting for a place to land has taken precedence to hunting anything else. Dean and Castiel fall in love with the strange little house on the end of Swallowtail Drive, and for a little while life is as it should be—sweet, affectionate, and beginning afresh. But more and more Castiel sees and hears things in the house that beg the question of whether or not a place itself can be alive. The walls and rooms seem to shift and grow and breathe, and one night, Dean comes home from a hunt changed in a way that Castiel cannot explain. In the months that follow, their domestic bliss takes turns for the dark and sour, and the confusion of their circumstances will ultimately test everything Castiel knows about the man he loves, and everything he believes to be true.
The walk by Persephoneshadow [Explicit, 196k words] #angst with a happy ending
Dean's been living on the streets and turning tricks for a while. Most of the time clients just find him. After a job goes wrong he goes looking for work and finds more than he expected with a married man of faith with blue eyes and a trench coat.
To build a Home by intothesilentland [Mature, 383k words] #angst with a happy ending
Twenty-three years of head-over-heels, devastating devotion and love, love, love for the man with bright eyes and dark hair. Fourteen years of friends, best friends, of always together. One moment of rejection. Nine years of apart. Nine years of heartbreak, nine years of continents away, of not speaking, of no acknowledgement, no interaction, no closure, no peace. No happiness. Nine years of Dean’s life entering motions, going through them, constant, cold and mechanic, like clockwork. Nine years of alone. God. Nine years. A lot has changed. And yet Dean still loves Cas just the same. Even if his heart hurts all kinds of different. On the day of Jimmy Novak’s funeral, Dean sees Cas for the first time in nine years. He adored Castiel the moment he met him, at only four years old. But after fourteen years of friendship destroyed by one moment of heartbreak, and after nine years of silence, Dean is convinced Cas will want nothing to do with him. And it’s killing him.
Twist and Shout by gabriel, standbyme [Explicit, 97k words] #major character death
What begins as a transforming love between Dean Winchester and Castiel Novak in the summer of 1965 quickly derails into something far more tumultuous when Dean is drafted in the Vietnam War. Though the two both voice their relationship is one where saying goodbye is never a real truth, their story becomes fraught with the tragedy of circumstance. In an era where homosexuality was especially vulnerable, Twist and Shout is the story of the love transcending time, returning over and over in its many forms, as faithful as the sea.
What Is Tomorrow Without You by sobsicles [Explicit, 93k words] #angst with a happy ending
Cas is dead, and Dean is living through hell all over again. Experiencing hell as he'd first lived it, Dean aches for peace. When Jack enters his life, it only brings him a purpose. A mission for revenge sends Dean spiraling out of control as Jack does everything in his power to help Dean, going as far as to using his power to let Dean visit Cas where he resides after death. But when Dean depends on these visits and learns a few things about how he truly feels for Cas, the line between what's real and what's not starts to blur. Dealing with grief and his need for revenge, Dean struggles to find a way to get his family back together while also coming to grips that he might have to find a place in a world without Cas in it. Fortunately, Cas comes back, and Dean has to learn to navigate through the life he'd been wanting. But things aren't quite what they seem as their relationship blooms, and Dean realizes he's the reason Cas is slowly changing, and not for the better.
What Used to be Mine by someonetoanyone [Explicit, 48k words] #angst with a happy ending
“There is…” he starts; he licks his lips and glances away; his fingers twitch and fiddle, “... there is one thing she's afraid of. There's one thing strong enough to stop her.” That sounds too good to be true, so Dean waits for the other shoe to drop. It doesn’t take long. Cas at least has the wherewithal to look Dean in the eyes when he says, “when Jack was dying, I made a deal to save him.” ___ a terrible, evil AU that posits; what if the divorce arc was even worse, what if Dean never apologized in Purgatory, and what if Cas internalized all of that, making his ultimate confession less confident, though no less heartfelt, and he died thinking Dean hated him?
You Can Keep Holding On by NorthernSparrow [Explicit, 352k words] #angst with a happy ending
Hiatus fic set after the S11 finale. Dean's alive, Sam's alive, they're going to get Cas from wherever he got zapped to, and everything's finally gonna be all right. Dean's on top of the world. A little voice in the back of his head is whispering "It's never that easy," but Dean ignores it.

The Funny Tall Man
Summary: Scar is just trying to take over a mushroom island, he did not agree to being a baby sitter.
Warnings: Nothing really, this is Fluff and SFW, well unless you count Scar being an evil homewrekcer (literally, he burns homes) and Mother Spore being a mind controlling fae (who low key kidnaps people).
Notes: This is for @sporelings-au and @headless-witch  Tags: @riveraryy and @flooflepuff

HEP found itself working hard most days, as the Mycelium was spreading. Scar sighed rubbing his neck and popping it, his ears drooping down. He picked up another paper and read it over sipping on some tea, the rich flavor was nice. Everything was grown locally, everything in his office was grown by him. Giving the place a very lush feel.
Vines hanged down from the ceiling, the air was crisp and clean, the inside made of a hallowed tree. It was the exact opposite of the mushroom villages with air that was thick with spores. The air was near unbreathable by his people, who seemed to have a clear disdain of the Mushroom Sporelings of Mother Spore.
While Scar himself has no true interest in the island, he had to admit that their encroach onto his territory made him act. Sure the situation had been minor. But Scar wasn’t a push over, and wasn’t going to let the, rather beautiful, Mother Spore think she could just go outside her island.
He gave pause thinking back to the dear Mother of Sporelings. Beautiful she was, but also wicked. Her mere touch wilted all his plants, his babies, making himself prick with discomfort. Top it off in the past she’s kidnap Woodland Fae of his, and... changed them into these near mindless beings with her spores. Making his insides twist at the thought of it.
Scar wasn’t a fool, while he flirted and teased the mushroom fae, he knew not to let her near him for too long. Not to accept anything from her. Tea was nice, even if they never reached an agreement.
Mother Spore was unwilling to release and give back his people, and Scar as a result would not stop burning houses until he made his point clear. Besides, they were making the air near unbreathable in places too close to his kingdom.
Signing the paper and putting it out in the out tray neatly the door opened. He looks up as Bdubs comes into the room. “Scar!.” he said, “The garden section is experiencing some wilting.”
A frown, “Wilting?” Scar echoed bemused, that was rare for his plants to wilt. But as he reached out through the roots he felt the wilting in the area seemed to be spreading. A grimace on his face as he rose and left the room. Heading briskly with his cane clacking on the ground to the garden section.
The Gardens were where he grew most of the food for the main city. Tall fruit trees, small bushes of berries, and vegetables abound in the fields. A place where he was certain Mother was envious of. Perhaps he should make a basket of fresh foods... maybe he could win over the Mother’s favor yet.  Bdubs wanted this was over fast, but Mumbo, his second, wanted a little bloodshed done as possible. Mumbo in fact was the spear head of many political meet ups. Even if they bore little fruit.
He frowned as he saw one of the blackberry bushes was indeed wilted, as was the strawberry plants, and the blueberries with them. “How in the world?” Scar looked puzzled as he touched the wilted leaves bring them back to their green glow.
Slowly the plants did heal as his magic poured into them. But Scar noticed one area wasn’t growing at all, as he paused and moved over to the leaves.
“Shhh! He’ll hear us!” “These berries are so good!” “I told you not to touch the bush Ren!”
Pushing them back a squeal was heard as Scar jumped back from a wooden sword to his face. “What in the world!?” Scar yelped as he looked from the sword to an angry red eye glaring at him.
This one looked familiar, as Scar wracked his brain for info, he remembered seeing this little one with Mother. He looked past the very defiant, somewhat fearful, sporeling to see others huddled together in the bushes. One with ears had a mess of blackberry juice around his lips.
“What are you doing here?” Scar inquired as he pushed the wooden sword away easily, much to the tall sporlings annoyance.
“none of your business!” he said in a puffed up brave voice, but Scar easily caught the waver in it.
“We wanted to meet you!” Another said with him, the little girl with the pink dress and fairy wings said with a bright smile.
Scar gave a look crossing his arms, “And wilting my berry bushes is how you greet yourselves?” he asked in a firm voice.
Head hung down at that, they looked guilty. “We’re sorry.” the slim child said with a small voice. “They were just so good looking, we don’t have things like this at home.” he said black eyes looking up at Scar.
The slight anger did fade at that, as Scar grimaced to himself, then sighed heavily as he rubbed his face and eyes. “Alright, come out now, so I can heal the plants, and I'll pick you some more berries... just don’t touch anything.” he said to the small kids. Watching as they all clamored out, and the tallest one eyes him with distrust herding them to the middle of the garden.
Scar shook his head, as he got back to work, healing away the damage done. Smiling softly as he could feel the life returning to the bushes. “Woah.”  A tiny head poked over his shoulder as she stared in awe at how the bushes came back to life. “You can grow plants mister!?” she asked looking at him with wide black eyes.
A nod as Scar started to pick some berries, “Yes, one of my many talents.” he chuckled a bit. “Everything here I grew myself.”
This did get the kids to look around in awe finally taking in how tall the trees were, “We don’t have anything like this at home!” squeaked out the slime boy.
“Unless you count Mother’s tall mushrooms.” the one with horns said with a smile.
Scar’s smile fell a bit, right, these little guys hadn’t seen anything green save for when they are near his territory. It also seemed they inherited their Mother’s powers of wilting things.
“I see, well, this is just the section I use to grow fruits, there are place I also grow vegetables, trees for sap, and flowers.” Scar listed off.
“FLOWERS!?” the little girl in pink said in excited, “Can I see!? Please!?” she asked yanking on his tail coat.
A bit startled by her outburst, Scar stared down at her, then to the children who also looked curious. Well, almost all of them, the one eyed child looked annoyed. “I suppose so, first off though,” he looked at each of them, “Names?”
They each listed off their names, Etho, Stress, Ren, XB, Jevin, and Impulse.
“Well, my name is Scar... and I guess I can show you the flower gardens, But don’t pick any of them, The flowers are very delicate.” Scar’s voice was firm as they all nodded, eager giggles and jumping up and down.
Shaking his head and holding back a smile, he had them all hold hands as he lead them along. The flower gardens weren’t that far, and he had no dout they’d be also eager to eat the berries he picked too. Though... “Does your Mother know you guys are here?” Scar asked them with a curious look back at the group.
“Uh... No...?” Ren’s ears flicked down at that.
“We wanted to see where you go to Funny Tall Man!” Impulse said to him with wide eyes. “We... didn’t expect it to take this long though.”
Alarm bells were in Scar’s head, “When did you guys leave the Mycelium territory?” he asked.
Looking at each other confused, it was Etho who spoke up, “When the sun was rising.”
Scar paled a bit; it was nearing the afternoon now! These children had been out of their Mother’s gaze for over 6 hours! Goodness its no wonder they were hungry and looked tired.
“Oh dear...” Scar groaned, no doubt Mother Spore was worried sick for them. Look, he might be in a war with her, but he was against using children in a war. Pitching the bridge of his nose, Scar took a breath, he’ll pen a letter to the Goat Father and Mother Spore. This was not going to look well at all, but he also didn’t want to send these kids back to walking on their own! They were lucky they ever found his area and didn’t get lose in the Wildwoods Forest!
Scar’s thoughts were broken as he heard Stress gasp, “Flowers!” she squealed rushing over, Scar quickly stopped her from grabbing on. Shaking his head firmly as she blinked and looked sad but nodded.
Quickly though, Stress bounced back, “What are these ones called?!” she asked excitedly looking at the pretty purples and pinks.
“Orchids, they are very delicate flowers and very picky flowers too.” Scar told her, “They don’t like to grow for just anything, the conditions have to be right.” he said. Setting up a blanket on the gorund and the basket of fruits for the kids. Which they all quickly moved to sit down as Scar also got some water from the spring nearby.
It was burning up today, no doubt they were thirsty. He took a breath to keep from fretting, these were Mother’s children, if a hair was harmed on them it’d be his neck. He was looking for a fight, not death.
Stress ran over to another that Jevin was looking at, “Frogs!” the slime boy said picking up a white frog that squirmed in his grip.
“Yes, I have quiet a few of them.” Scar said then turned, “Ren don’t lick a frog please.” he told the wolf looking sporeling.  Ren froze with his tongue out, and carefully let go of the green frog with a pout.
“What are these flowers called mister tall man?” Impulse asked looking at the ones in the water that were white.
“Lilies, these ones grow on pads that the frogs can use to stand on.” Scar told them, “See that stem under them, it’s goes all the way down to the bottom of the pond and is rooted into it.” he explained.
He watched as their eyes seemed to be filled with wonder, Stress rushing form the pond over to XB near a large tree, “What’s these!?” she asked pointing to the waxy leave tree with pink and white flowers.
“Magnolias,” Scar told her, “They are ever greens, meaning they don’t shed their leaves in the fall like Mape or Oak tress, but rather shed them year-round, they also come in colors of pink and white.”
XB picked up one of the dead leaves on the ground feeling it’s waxy coating with curious eyes.
Taking his hand, Stress lead Scar over to Etho and these tall yellow flowers, “What are these flowers?” she asked.
“Black Eyed Susans, and the tall ones in the back are Sunflowers.” Scar went over to a small machine near the sunflowers and held out his hand. Out came some seeds that were toasted, “Here.” he handed the two some. “Sunflower seeds are edible.”
Etho looked wary, but did take some, and after seeing Stress try some, he ate a few too. “Their salty.. but crunchy.” he said looking at the rest.
Scar nodded, “They are a good snack, but make sure you drink water as they are rather salty.” he agreed, smiling warmly at Etho.
“Mister Tall Man?”
Scar turned, “yes?” he inquired curiously walking over.
He looked to see Ren pointing to some plants, “These ones don’t have flowers.”
Walking over to Ren, Scar nodded, “Sometimes they do, but not right now. These are herbs. The purple flowered ones are Lavender, the large leave ones that are bumpy is Sage, the dark green ones here is Mint.”
Stress peered at them, “Well what are they used for?” she asked watching Scar pluck off a few leaves and flowers.
“A variety of things, potions, medicine, rituals, even just to make some cooking stuff taste better, or just your house to smell better.” Scar let her smell them even if the tip wilted, “Jellie loves Lavender.”
Giggling Stress sniffed again, “It smells so nice!” she looked very happy as Scar couldn’t help but smile.
They went around looking at whatever caught the kids eyes, Lily of the Valley, Roses, Zinnias, Cosmos. The vining plants of Moon Flowers, Purple Passions, Morning Glories, along with other herbs such as Dill, Thyme, and Rosemary.
And wrangling them back to take a break and eat something as Scar penned a letter and sent the bird on it’s way to find Mother Spore. The kids were luckily well behaved enough, if Scar had to stop Ren from pouncing on his tail and biting it. they obeyed his rules of don’t touch unless he gives permission. Jevin had fun catching frogs and other creatures, he suppose it was good he couldn’t kill the animals.
Scar answered any questions they had about plants, within reason, mostly they asked about flowers and herbs. Perhaps it did break his heart a bit that these children had never seen green grass, blue skies, or plants this abundant. Nor could they touch them.
It made him wonder how anyone could be happy as a Sporeling. Mumbo spoke little of it, even if he still cared for them, it was clear he had no interest in going back. Scar couldn’t say he blamed him, who would want ugly purple grass and only fungus growing around!?
He watched as the children did curl up and started to fall asleep. Etho fought it off for a long time before he cuddled with Ren resting. Scar took a breath, and petted Impulse’s hair watching the sun turn to evening time, and waiting for news from Bdubs on when Mother would come to collect her children.
He can’t say it was a bad day, Scar adores it when people are interested in in awe of his amazing terraforming skills. Even if these children had technically escaped form home and broke into his base. Shaking his head, Scar waited silently.
This was going to be a long talk with Mother Spore, but he would assure her they were fed and well taken care of. And hope she didn’t try to kill his whole garden!
Little did Scar know Mother would be quiet calm about the situation, and might even be curious about flowers herself.

Chained Memories AU
(Day 1 of Monkie Destiny Challenge Prompt Month Oct. 2023)
Wordcount: 2.3k
Summary: Baigujing, in her final moments, remembers what was lost to her.
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
She’s tired.
She has no true name to her body, she has no real way of identifying herself when placed side by side with a decaying corpse—she’d call herself a phantom, nothing more, nothing less, and then with a shake of the head she’d change her mind and go for a more regal name. One fit for a person destined for greatness. For a world without pain or suffering, for one where the Heavens would be made anew and the Kings of the Underworld would carry on with helping the souls pass on in peace.
She called herself Baigujing.
Baigujing feels nothing to her soul. She has witnessed all the suffering of mortals and yao, the pain and heartache mothers and sons went through. It was loss upon loss, the feeling of stitches being pulled apart, a heart cut open and never allowed to heal itself. Yet, she felt nothing but a single pang across her chest before it dissolved into a breath of frost upon her lips. She felt nothing. She feels nothing and has come to terms that that’s how it would be for all her life.
Up until Sun Wukong.
Sun Wukong is not meant to exist: he was born by chance, a single rock that was flicked off its pedestal by the wind, and everything that’s happened after his birth has been a hindrance to her plans. He’s found cradled in her arms, only a few years old with no true wisdom or knowledge yet, and she stares at him with eyes devoid of light and warmth. I’ll make you proud, Wukong tells her, I’ll show you I’ll be the greatest hero this world has ever seen, and she witnesses it first hand.
Baigujing wants to regret having taken the Great Sage Equal to Heaven under her wing, but she can’t. She falls in love with the hope Sun Wukong shouts to the Heavens, the brilliance of light that pushes him to be on top of the world, letting himself fall back down into her arms because he knows she’ll catch him. He’s an enigma, he’s not meant to exist—and yet she smiles despite herself, listening to him go off about how his name is no longer Shi Hou and it’s now Mei Houwang. How certain words are banned from his kingdom, how he looks at her with gleaming eyes of gold and light and asks, “Am I the greatest king you’ve met?”
And she answers, “Yes.”
Even when he swears death to her name, screams that he’ll kill her himself—she finds herself proud of everything he’s accomplished. She’s withered and weak, a mere memory of the terror she used to be a thousand years ago. She was meant to bring the world to its knees—she was meant to rebuild it all, make it perfect for everyone to thrive in. Make it perfect for them. And he shatters that ideal, brings it to pieces right in front of her, even though he cries and screams and weeps; he causes her heartache in one fell strike, he brings her to tears and causes her to break apart.
She remembers a time when he doubted himself. Doubted his place as a rightful king and great sage.
“Is it true? Am I not worthy of calling myself Qitian Dasheng?” Sun Wukong says when they gaze upon an empty banquet. The monkeys have all gone to sleep, the yao and creatures that accompanied them for wine and fruit and fresh cut meat sprawled on the floor of the cave. The youngest monkeys shiver and hiccup, huddling onto each other for warmth, though Wukong keeps his feet planted where they are. “The Jade Emperor—his people aren’t what I expected. I thought they’d welcome me. Am I not worthy of being respected for my achievements?”
Perhaps raising a child had changed her.
Wukong frowns, clenching his fists. “Azure was right. I’ll never be anything else than a weak-willed—” “Do not speak ill of the Handsome Monkey King, young man,” comes the quiet remark, and she takes in the way he startles and looks at her. “I’ve watched him grow from a young monkey into a wise scholar and, when his kingdom was in danger, he became a warrior for them. A soldier. A protector. And I will not have you sully his name because some nameless celestials gave you a bad day.”
Baigujing crosses the cave’s path, beginning to make her way towards the mansion that was found behind the walls of the waterfall. She waits for the sound of footsteps following her, but when they don’t come she stops and sighs.
“There will never be a time where you are unworthy of your name, Sun Wukong. You were gifted that name for a reason,” she says quietly, beckoning him closer with an extended hand. He hesitates, stepping over sleeping leopards and qilin, his steps a quiet crunch of stone against soft sand. She takes his hand once he’s closer and holds it. She knows she’s cold, she knows she cannot provide the same warmth he gives to his children and subjects—yet she speaks quietly and softly.
“Please understand, Sun Wukong, that though you are nothing the world asked for, you are everything the people need.” You are a weapon, you are a savior, you are many things, and I know you won’t fail me.
He always appears more human than she expects him to be. So he brings his body to hers, wraps his arms around her, and presses his cheek to her shoulder. It’s meant to be comforting. He’s meant to seek comfort from a mother made of cloth and paper, cold and unable to feed him, uncomfortable with all her sharp edges and hollow eyes. Yet he stays there all night, murmuring how he’ll show the gods that he is worth the title of a sage. That he’s going to be the most extraordinary being the Heavens have ever seen.
And she, with all her demon qualities, cannot bring herself to control him anymore. She cannot do this when she’s sure it would make him suffer. It would make him bleed and weep real tears of anguish.
He could be loyal.
Chained and leashed for her to use as her own.
She knows how easy it would be to manipulate him; she knows to what length a child will go to make their mothers happy.
So she leaves him.
She kisses the brow where his crown will rest on, tells him to sleep alongside his grandchildren and little suns, and stays with him until she’s certain he won’t wake when she moves. “Goodbye,” she whispers against his ear, breaking the silence of the cave. It’s safer this way. She cannot sacrifice her plans for him. She cannot change her destiny. She cannot make him change for her.
Sun Wukong deserved to keep his freedom.
And it breaks her heart to know he gave it all up for the ones who hated him the most. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
“I’m tired,” she says with a shaky breath on her final day of life.
Or in other words, her last day of running from Sun Wukong.
Baigujing sees him from the corner of her eye. He’s gotten taller, brighter, and yet he looks battered and broken all the same. She left him in the hands of destiny, the sweet whispers that promised her justice and righteousness—and he looks so tired that it breaks her to pieces all over again. She pulls herself up, trying to sit more properly, but Wukong stops her. His hands are on her shoulders, eyes scanning her face, and he helps her sit against the wall. There’s cracks along the edges and her blood on stone.
It has not yet dried.
Wukong makes sure to rest her head carefully against the wall.
She’s not sure how she winds up sitting next to Sun Wukong, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, the very same soul she abandoned when he was only a boy to pursue a path that… led to nothing. Nothing at all. Only pain.
“Do you hate me?” she asks quietly. Her voice quivers and she doesn’t know why. Wukong won’t look at her.
“No,” he says.
“I did everything right,” Baigujing murmurs against the air. It’s as if the very essence of her soul is trying to get away from her. Abandon her. Leave her for dead. Her vision’s blurring and her cheek feels wet.
Though she doesn’t know why.
She says, “I found myself a champion. I made my army. I challenged Heaven. I tried to remake the world into something perfect and yet—” She takes in a sharp breath, unsure of herself. Her visions. Her calling. They’re replaced with the faint memory of tiny fingers running through her black hair, forming shapes of flowers and carefully decorated river streams. She sees herself holding a young infant, happy and waiting to see the sunrise, holding her hand as tight as possible, and breaks into pieces, mouth open to release a silent wail of regret.
She never got to see him grow.
She promised the world to him.
She swore she’d make storm clouds cry for him.
She made him clothes and carved pathways for him to choose what he wanted to do.
She watched him run with eager steps to a master who could teach him all the things she couldn’t and embraced him with open arms when he returned a scholar, a proper name to his unique soul, and kissed his head with glee over his proud achievements.
And she left him to die.
In all her selfish desires—Sun Wukong did not fit into her ideals. He was too powerful, too impulsive, too imperfect, too human for her to take him with her to destroy everything that was impure in her eyes. She wanted to start anew and forgot the faint fingerprints of tiny hands against her wrists that carried her through the years. So she cries now, because she cannot find the proper way to say she’s sorry.
“I lost Flower Fruit Mountain to a fire,” he says quietly. He doesn’t look at her either. Something soft brushes against her wrist. A flower.
It’s an illusion made of gold and ichor—yet she feels its warmth.
“The Samadhi Fire?” she rasps, finding it hard to breathe all of a sudden. As though something’s lodged in her throat. She gasps quietly, gulps down the little air she can muster, and tries to stay awake to hear her son’s tale.
“No. My—there was this Huntsman. Erlang Shen. He burnt down my mountain out of anger and,” Wukong breathes in sharply, exhaling that burst of air with a quiet sigh, “he made me his sworn brother. I’ve been with him in Heaven. I only left because…”
“Xiaotian.”
“Xiaotian,” he murmurs.
“His birth… I don’t know why I took him. I don’t know why I did it.” She closes her eyes, feels herself growing weaker. “I thought… if it were someone else. If it were someone that was made by Heaven’s wretched blood, I wouldn’t feel guilt. But he is so much like you, Wukong.” She thinks of bright smiles and golden-brown eyes staring at her, waiting for the words of appraisal. She thinks of tiny fingerprints against her arm, finding comfort to her side. “I hurt you both so much.”
“That’s not right,” Wukong croaks. She tries to open her eyes—but she can’t. She can’t see his expression, can’t tell what he’s thinking. She can only hear how his voice breaks right in front of her. And she can’t even hold him anymore. She’s too weak. “You left… and ruined a young boy’s life. You made him—me—us think we were only good for one thing. I searched for you. I missed you. I was found by someone who was too flawed to notice my suffering, I was dragged away by a soldier who would not hesitate to seal me away again—you left me.”
“I’m sorry.”
The world is quiet.
Her vision is white.
And then, she can open her eyes again.
It’s an empty void. It’s only them, standing opposite to each other, Wukong’s armor and red-eyes gone, the traces of the Samadhi Fire nowhere to be found on his body. Baigujing breathes. Her clothes are the ones she wore when she found him. White with traces of blue and lilac. Her hair is down, black rivers that have no end, the feeling of herself fading away strong with breath she takes.
She sighs, closing her eyes to savor the taste of life one more time, and says, “I told Xiaotian the road he’s chosen can only lead to one thing.” Baigujing looks at Sun Wukong. His eyes are filled with tears, hands and arms and body covered in scars that have not yet healed. His clothes are tattered, covered in smoke, and his fur burns with fire that could not be described by any words she knows. “Pain,” she breathes out, stepping closer to the boy she abandoned all those years ago.
She touches his cheek. Ice washes over him as he leans into her palm, eyes closed and tense, the fire fading away and turning into short, tiny tufts of light brown fur. He gets shorter, forces her to descend to her knees, and when he opens his eyes again, they’re a light shade of gold. Not yet made of a sun’s glow. She holds his face, bringing her other hand to touch it, and smiles shakily for the first time in years.
“But you can change that,” she sobs, smile widening when Wukong places his hands over hers. “Please, Wukong, take care of him before he thinks he’s undeserving of love.”
Wukong says nothing.
He steps forward, tiny hands coming to touch her face. He squishes her cheeks, curious yet firm, and, in the tiniest voice, says, “Goodbye mama.”
Baigujing smiles.
She brings him to a hug, squeezing him tightly, and with her final breath says, “Goodbye.”

“Gasp mister you are so pretty!!” That was the first thing you said to that man in the water with a fishtail that looked as pretty as the jewel stones you saw the adults wear. He was also very pretty, with hair that reminded you of a clear blue sky and his eyes reminding you of a particular blue jewel.
Young, your guardian had told you many stories. Some stories of the fairies and magic but you always found the books that talked about mermaids the most fascinating. You would always beg your nanny to read you the little mermaid before you sleep as if you would never be able to sleep without even hearing the first page of the story.
Your nanny told you that mermaids were real and even if the people around you didn't believe it. You believed it!
“Hello, child.” The man smiled, chuckling as you watched his tail move under the water. “Careful now you could get fall if you lean too far into the water.”
You didn't listen, you continued to look at him in awe and fascination.
“Pretttyyy~”
"What is your name merman!" You asked at one point playing with the shells and pearls that Ayato had in his pouch. He hummed as he played with your hair adding the shells one by one so prettily placed.
"My name is Ayato, young one."
"A pretty name!" You said laughing cheerfully at him. He became your friend, when you were lonely you would go to the cave where you first meet him and wait for a little. Ayato would always come after a few minutes holding something from the ocean your small hands could not reach.
He was your friend, but he wanted your neck.
Ayato wanted revenge, he wanted revenge toward the humans that took his little sister away from the waters.
Ayaka was a child of pure heart, with such a loving and caring personality she was a treasure to the ocean kingdom loved by everyone. Yet even so Ayaka craved the world outside her reach, the place of land.
She fell in love with a boy from the outside world, a boy that she saved from a shipwreck from the storms and waves. She sacrificed her own voice in exchange for legs to be with the man she loved above ground yet that man choose to marry another instead, breaking her heart.
After Ayato found out he tried to help his sister, telling her to crave out the boy’s heart with a magical knife and splatter the blood on her legs to become a mermaid again.
To return to the sea.
However Ayaka’s kindness and loves knows no bounds when she instead sacrificed her own life so that the boy she loved would be happy with his lover, she turned into nothing but bubbles as the sun begins to rise. Leaving instead sorrow and blind anger in her brother's heart.
He wanted revenge, he wanted to give the same pain and heartache to the man who took his sister away from him. Even after years he waited, he had his people, the more stealthy of his subordinates head to the surface and gather intel and from there he found you.
You were a daughter of that man too young and naive to understand what was going on, but cheerful and curious when you meet him.
There were many times, many times that you were so close to your own death. You were just a young girl after all, younger than Ayaka when she died Ayato could easily grab you and drown you in the water. He chooses not to tho, for his aim was your dear father.
He wanted him to suffer even more.
Yet here he was holding you in his arms as you brought a basket full of flowers to make a flower crown, they were flowers that Ayato have never seen fresh only in books did he see them or the old flowers that somehow managed to get into the water one way or another by the time it was in his hands they were brown and rotting.
“This is for Ayato! I made it just for you!” you said cheerfully, holding out to him a flower crown pretty in your hands. "Thank you." He smiled as he glanced at the flower.
He was sure that if he would take this flower with him, it would not survive the waters and instead wither. It was weak, a delicate beauty yet so weak. It was funny how it reminded him of you.
Yet he let you place the flower crown on his head. His hair crowed with beautiful flowers while your hair had a crown made of coral and shells.
"We match now!"
Ayato chuckled at your cuteness patting your head in affection. He could not help himself as time passed you started to carve a part of his heart. He had grown so protective of you as he once was towards Ayaka. Your innocence reminded him so much of her... he could not help it.
He wanted her back so much that sometimes he could not live. He hated when you have to leave when his mind made up scenarios where could not reach you anymore, where you were taken away from him. He was scared he would lose someone again when he is already all alone in this world.
He wondered if the ocean queen was willing to help him out a bit. So faithful to her following most of her orders. He protected the waters from dangers and avoided many.
The queen had made a few puppets in the past and placed life within them. Surely something like bringing a child from land to the waters would be simple if not Ayato knew a few who could be of help. A few secrets and a few words would be enough.
He could make a deal with the sorcerer who Ayaka made a deal with to change her tail to legs.
Ayato would take something your father so cherished just like he took Ayaka away from the world. Ayato's hands tightened around your small wrist, flinching in pain you looked up confused.
"What is the matter Ayato?" You asked yet Ayato just shook his head.
Placing you on his lap he let you play with his arm, you were always so fond of the iridescent scales of his so he always let you touch them when he wants to keep you in his arms.
He will take you that your father treasures most.

The winner takes it all
Chapter IV (I, II, III)
Paring: Aemond Targaryen x reader
Synopsis: inspired by the Æthelflæd and Erik's storyline in The Last Kingdom. Might be spoilerish if you haven't seen it (go watch it!!!), even though I've just stolen the inspiration and went on with the story my way.
Warnings: Canon compliant violence, Aemond’s brothel experience, male masturbation, p in v sex, outdoor sex, anxiety.
A/N: reader is AFAB, they/them pronouns are used (they are called “lady” and “daughter of the North”). The only descriptor is that they have long hair.
A/N 1: this is an AU. Look at me taking the canon story of Westeros and yell “Parkhour!” as I jump out of the window clutching it in my hands.
18+ only, tank you!
Aemond knows he should keep his end of the bargain; you have been eating the food provided for you, he is the one lacking on his promise.
The problem is not taking you out for a quick walk, you are a prisoner, his prisoner, he can do whatever he wants with you. A nice stride outside the city walls isn't a problem, being alone with you is. What is he supposed to do while you are walking? Talking to you? About what? And why would you even entertain the thought of exchanging pleasantries with him? Should he stay silent then? Be your looming shadow while you breathe some fresh air? What a nice thought, right? Not only are you bounty, you are also forced to spend time with the very man who stole you away and who will conquer your home. You have no respite, no way of not thinking about what is happening. All thanks to him!
Shit! He is pacing again, his room too small and stuffy for his jumbled thoughts. Sword practicing, that's what he needs to drag his mind out of this gutter, then talking with Aegon about what to do next: it's still too early to send envoy with the ransom request, some northerner spies have been spotted, though and need to be dealt with and the defenses need to be strengthened in case your people try something desperate to free you.
Down in your cell, you are not in better shape than Prince Aemond is. Your brain is torn between worrying for you people and the knowledge that you cannot seem to escape whatever spell he has put on you. You haven't seen him since your bath and his presence still looms, the lilac of his eye haunting you with its beauty. The warmth of his hand enveloping yours still burns your skin; how is that even possible? Not even while courting with your husband, before he showed you his true colors, you felt his presence as strongly as you are experiencing Prince Aemond's. The way he stared at you, devouring your frame still gives you goosebumps; he didn't make you feel gross or violated, which is a first in your entire life, but you have no idea why his stare is so intense every time it lands on you. He doesn't look at you as if you are a thing to be owned, even under these circumstances, where you are no more than spoils. You keep asking yourself why and your mind spirals into a maze of ulterior motives he might have.
Your feet carry your body around the small cell for the thousandth time today, you still cradle the hand he's kissed, your fingers brushing the spot where his lips landed. Your heart beats fast in your chest the more you think about your last interaction; what is going on with you?
The commotion in the courtyard outside your small window forces you away from your thoughts, you grab the bucket to get to the bars and see what is going on. At first there’s just people huddled up together, for a second you think they are preparing defenses, but no, they are excited for something you can’t really see, until they form a big, loose circle and you can see Prince Aemond and a man you don’t know, swords in hand, ready to fight. You know this is some sort of practice by the way everyone is cheering and laughing, you feel no animosity in the air, just plain excitement.
You tell yourself to look at Prince Aemond to detect at least one hint of weaknesses from him, something that can be used in battle to kill him, but your eyes can't focus on his perfect swordsmanship, only on his fast, lithe body. His waist is so slim and trim, enhanced by the shape of his tunic and belt, you notice, his legs powerful in the black leather of his breeches. His hair follows his movements as if this was a dance, not a fight. He is deadly and graceful, even when his opponent uses his blind side against him, he is too fast for that to be a good move and he wins easily.
You realize you were mesmerized by him, when the cheering violently slams you back into your thoughts: you shouldn't have done that, staring at your enemy the way you did, appreciating his skills, noticing the faint redness on his pale cheeks after the workout.
His eye find yours in the distance, again you can help but lose yourself in the lilac hue; you've heard snakes can hypnotize their victims before striking: what is a dragon if not a winged snake?
He stiffly bows for you, the movement too fast for his people to notice, but you do and heath just explodes into your lower belly. As shame does.
Aemond feels even worse after sword practicing, knowing that you have been staring at him. He didn't notice you at first, too focused on his adversary, he did realize you were looking at him afterwards, when his body felt hot and sticky under the leather. You have been staring and his brain cannot help itself but wondering if you liked what you saw, if you believed him to be strong and courageous enough to have him for yourself.
A part of him, the small, overlooked child, who wants to be seen and appreciated, wants you to compliment him, to be proud of him. No, he tells himself, we are not going down that road. He has to splash icy cold water on his face and chest, instead of indulging in a warm bath, trying as he might to gain the composure he's lost the moment he's seen your face half hidden by the iron bars.
His cock has other ideas though, stiff and painful against the leather of his breeches. Aemond knows he needs cold water for that as well, his hands even go for the pitcher and then they stop. He sees his fingers uncurl from the metal, like an out of body experience, they open the latch of his breeches and curl around his manhood. I shouldn't do this, I shouldn't do this, he tells himself, his body heads in another direction, one he has no control over.
He can't even coordinate himself enough to lie on the bed, his hips move on their own accord, his fingers tight around his cock, moving up and down again and again, thumb caressing the engorged head, spreading precum along his shaft as his movements become faster and faster. Moans spill from his lips as the pleasure curls at the base of his spine. His forehead finds a wall and he stays there, his brain conjuring images of your naked body and soft lips, painting the picture of him desecrating your mouth as you moan wantonly just for him, your hands cupping his ass to push him even deeper inside of you. His fingers curl tighter, pulling at the tight skin of his cock, his hips jackhammer against nothing as pleasure engulfs him, sweat runs down his arched back until he comes with a shout, his knees giving out.
He curls into a ball while his lungs try to gather as much oxygen as possible: he has held his breath without noticing, how stupid of him.
Tears prickle his eyes and run down his high cheeks; he knows he should feel shame for having followed his instincts, for having lost his control over the pleasure of the flesh, for having imagined debasing you like a tavern whore. He just wants you, without a hint of shame or guilt, he wants you to want him, to have you welcome his cock inside of your depths. He wants to know what you sound like when pleasure envelops you, when it's too much and not enough for your brain to understand.
You destroyed whatever dam keeping his sexual needs and wants under wraps; he hasn't had many lovers after being forced to lie with a prostitute at thirteen, feeling shame and disgust every single time he did have a partner, even fantasizing about a person made him feel gross and violated, at times.
What kind of spell have you put on him, to make him feel so free in his desires and in need of your skin?
He knows it's stupid and dangerous to want you for himself, he shouldn't even entertain the idea of never giving you up, of making you his Queen in the North. He should value you only for the gold your people will pay for your freedom and for being spoils of war, nothing more.
Shit! He thinks I need to make it stop, I am in control!
He will seek you tonight, he decides, accompany you during a short stroll and if his body betrays him again, he knows painful ways to punish it.
Prince Aemond comes to your cell well after you had finished eating and were getting ready to sleep, the complicated Valyrian tresses undone, your hair flowing down your back like a veil. His expression is stone, his lips are pursed together as he hands you a warm cloak lined with fur that you don’t really need; you elect to stay silent, your years of marriage have taught you how to read the room and Prince Aemond doesn’t look like he is in a talking mood. Why come to you, if he didn’t want to?
In silence you two walk to a smaller door in the walls, guarded by four heavily armed men, who salute the Prince and make as much space between their burly bodies and yours. You don’t know in details what happened to the man who had tried to attack you, the woman who braids your hair every morning is silent on the topic and the bustling around the courtyard told you nothing, but that something had happened to that man, something awful by the way those men stare at you with fear, unarmed as you are in your fur cloak.
You breathe deep in your chest when the cold air hits your face, your hands flying to the hood of the cloak to push it back enough to smell fully the oncoming spring. You forget where you are and who is accompanying you, too concentrated in enjoying the fresh air of the North, the wind sneaking under your hood, its cold caress down your spine, goosebumps blooming everywhere as you walk the uneven path around the castle.
Prince Aemond’s hand shoots out when you trip on an unseen root, it clenches like a manacle around your wrist, the other goes to your shoulder, steadying you. You mumble how sorry you are, evading his deep stare, his hands remain on your body, warm and big and, secretly, welcomed; how long has it been since anyone touched you without a violent intent?
“We should sit - he says - the night is too dark to properly walk around”
“Afraid my people would come and save me if we had a stroll during the day?”.
The night is dark, but your faces are too close for you not to miss the feral curl of his lips, him knowing something that you don’t. There must have been scouts from your camp, trying to assess the situation, did they manage? You don't think they did, his smile tells you as much.
You don't protest when he lowers you onto the grass, his leathers creaking as he sits next to you.
In a show of defiance, years of marriage made you forget you could have, you open the clasps of the cloak, letting it fall behind you, the cold wind finally free to play with your tresses as Prince Aemond lets out a surprised uhm.
"It's cold" he says, adjusting the material around his legs and torso
"This is not cold. What do you know about the cold? When the wolves come howling and the tears freeze on your cheeks? When there’s only darkness and you can’t even see the breath coming out of your mouth? That is what true cold feels like" you answer proudly, ignoring the nagging voice in your head asking you where all this courage comes from
"You are so proud of this unfriendly land that tries to kill you every turn of season"
"Aren't you proud of yours?"
"Mine was destroyed thousands of years ago".
His answer stops you on your track, before your mind realizes: Old Valyria. He's talking about the old country of his ancestors, not New Valyria, the country his forefathers tried to rebuild as soon as they landed on Dragonstone. You've heard stories, children disappearing and new ones, white haired and lilac eyed appearing like changelings, well before Aegon the Conqueror and his sister wives launched their attack upon the once free Kingdoms. Even darker whispers of blood magic blossomed when the first reigns started falling under Targaryen dominion, of the vast majority of Valyrian presenting people living in New Valyria all of a sudden. They invaded us well before their dragons did, your grandmother used to say. Will that happen to the North as well?
"If my home is so unfriendly, why bother with conquering us, then?"
"I assume you are well versed in politics enough to know the answer yourself"
"I was told a good lady looks after their husband and his possessions"
"Did that happen before or after your sword lessons? - you are too stunned to answer - whose idea was that?".
You don't owe him an answer, you owe him nothing; his eye is on you, you can see the sincere curiosity there and what harm can derive from him knowing?
"Mother's. Her House was small and proud. She studied the blade in her youth" you add
"Your husband must be proud of having such a strong spouse by his side" there's steel in his words, you don't notice it, too engrossed in your own memories
"He's not".
There's so much you could add, but you prefer to keep the dirty rags for yourself and he has no right to know the truth behind your marriage.
“Then he is an idiot”.
You whip your head around at his stern words, only noticing now how close he’s moved, so close you can see his eye gleaming in the dark, the flames of rage burning there. You shouldn’t stare and wonder why he’s so incensed, why does he care so much, shut up! Shut up! your mind screams, don’t say a word, don’t ask a question you are not ready to receive an answer for! But you have always been too curious for your own sake, not having your husband around makes you feel free and bold as you were before your marriage.
“Why does it bother you so? My lord husband knows what’s best”
“Your lord husband doesn’t know a single thing” his words come out low like a growl
“And you do better?”
“I know I would spar with you every day, make sure you are fit to protect what’s mine”
“Shouldn’t your guards do so? Shouldn’t the men loyal to you protect what belongs to you?”
“Loyalty can be bought”.
He’s closer now, he’s invaded your space, one hand firmly planted between your feet, his weight carried by his knees, his hair brushing lightly against the skirt of your dress.
“Studying the blade can save your life” he finishes.
You both know how crucial this moment is, the deepest, darker part of your two minds see the crossroad in front of you two. Left or right? Right or wrong? Life or death? The foreign pull between you two is unmistakable now. He makes the decision for you two, for the first time in his life he truly wants this, needs the touch of another, one hand holding your cheek lightly, his lips chaste on yours as you fall back on the soft fur, taking him with you. Delicately you open your mouth for his tongue, your own peaking out to taste him, your hands burrowing in his silky mane as he slots himself between your legs, mouth more aggressive now, tongue invading to play with yours. You can feel him ground his hips against yours, you imagine his cock growing harder against the cold of his leathers, the idea spurring you on, one leg hooking around his hips to follow his movements, wetness leaking obscenely from your cunt.
He separates your lips, but he doesn’t move, his hair curtaining you two, his weight on his hands planted at the sides of your face.
“Please, be gentle,” you say breathlessly.
He stares at you for a moment, weighting your features.
“If you tell me to stop, I will. You will still be under my protection, that will never change”.
You grab one of the metal clippings of his leather tunic, your fingers curling around it to pull him down on yourself.
“I said, please be gentle with me” it comes out more stern this time, your own desire making you feel bolder than you ever did.
You can feel Aemond shudder over you, his right hand grasping the knots keeping your dress together, deft fingers pulling at the strings to reveal your hidden body.
“I will” he says, your name on his lips like a prayer.
His lips are on yours again, tongue searching yours as your fingers open the metal clippings, almost ripping them off in the effort to open them; his hands are not idle, the knots coming apart to reveal the roundness of your breasts and the softness of your skin. The latchings of his shirt are not as lucky as the clippings were, as you rip the cotton apart to reveal his milky skin, your fingers scratching down his firm abs to open his breeches as he throws the tunic away. Regretfully he has to separate your lips again to remove your dress, his mouth latching on your nipples, sucking eagerly while your back arches towards him, your naked core sliding against his manhood, the obscene amount of come leaking from his tip making everything slippery, his hips jackhammering against yours in desperation, moans spilling from your lips every time his tip brushes against your engorged clitoris. You have never felt desire like this, burning your loins and growing in your belly, fingers scratching down his sweaty back to keep him as close to you as humanly possible, legs curling around his trim waist, heels digging against his tailbone; you need him inside of you. For the first time, your body desires to be breached open and owned by your partner, your need spilling from your mouth in the form of prayers, prayers he fulfills willingly, fingers of his right hand entering your slippery cunt, scissoring you open with ease. He moans when he feels how wet and ready you are for him, his cock straining painfully to enter you.
“Please Aemond! - you beg, tears of frustration falling from your eyes, your cunt clenching around his strong fingers - please, now!”
He grabs his cock hastily, spreading your wetness on the taut skin before breaching you slowly, forcing himself to be gentle as your warmth envelops him, your muscles sucking him in and he has to stop when he bottoms out, he has to breathe or he’ll snap and fuck you like an animal. He plants his hands by your shoulders, his head hanging low as he gulps down air greedily, the roar of the blood in his ears deafening, the pain of your fingers grasping his ass his only tether against madness.
You feel so full, his cock scorching your insides with every slow push and pull of his hips against yours, it shouldn’t be possible for your body to accept his impressive manhood, but it does and you feel each movement in your belly, your hips following his without your control, muscles contracting until all he can do is grinding against you, short and fast movements as gasps of pleasure spill from his mouth, mixed with words of praise for your cunt. He knows his orgasm is approaching too fast without his control, he can’t reign himself in, he needs to come with you, wants to experience your pleasure first. His fingers on your clit move with brutal efficiency, your body curling around his as you spasm and beg, until you come, taking him with you, his orgasm almost painful in his brutality, ropes and ropes of come staining you walls, until it’s too much and he has to slip out, his body falling upon yours, tears streaming down his cheeks. Gently you turn your entwined bodies to the side, your hand caresses his scalp while you murmur sweet nothings, his face cradled against the hollow of your throat; his hands grapple at the skin of your back desperately, as if he’s drowning and you are his lifeline. When he calms down he starts shivering from the cold and you cover the two of you with his cloak, your hand finding refuge again in his hair to massage his scalp once more; you don’t know what to say, your only sexual experiences had been with your husband and you were always the one in tears afterwards.
“I’m sorry - he says when he’s ready to face you again, his face still at level with your cleavage - all of this should have never happen”
“I’m not - you can see the surprise in his eye - I might die tomorrow in this war, at least I know what gentleness feels like.”.
You know he doesn’t understand, how can he? You are not going to elaborate, the shame of your marriage is yours alone to shoulder and you don’t want to stain this rare moment of peace with your husband’s actions.
Aemond tries to feel bad about this, tries to feel chagrin for having followed his instincts again, and nothing comes up: no pain, no humiliation, just peace and a sense of fulfillment he’s never experienced after sex. Why does it have to be you, the prisoner he will have to send back to their rightful husband, that makes him feel this way? Why are the Gods so cruel? Is this the price he has to pay for being a kinslayer? Having a sliver of peace and seeing it fade away? He cradles your face against his chest, he is not willing to let you go, not yet.
Later, Aemond cleans the mess between your legs with his destroyed shirt, gentle movements against your still sensitive lips, until no evidence of your coupling remains, but the throbbing you still feel. With care he helps you wear your dress and knots the strings keeping it together. He is surprised when you clean him up, cheeks aflame while murmuring that you don't have to; you don't even answer him, you just say how sorry you are for having destroyed his shirt.
The walk back to the castle is silent, broken only by Vhagar’s and Sunfyre's snores. The guards at the small door don't say a word, again they make space between your cloaked body and theirs, as if you are poisonous. Once you are back to your cell, curiosity wins.
"Why were those men afraid of touching me? Last time everyone wanted a piece of my skin".
Aemond uhms as he considers his words. He is proud of what he did but he doesn't want to scare you away with savagery; how little he knows the North and its inhabitants!
"The man who attacked you was punished, his right hand removed. If anyone tries to hurt you again, they'll lose both hands. If a third tries, then it's their hands and one foot. You can imagine what happens to the fourth man".
He doesn't know what to expect from you, surely not your appreciative words of praise and your pupils enlarging again, desire burning there like a summertime fire, surprising him with its intensity, his cock starting to stir, just in case.
"I bid you goodnight, Daughter of the North" he says bowing with a hand on his heart
"Aemond, wait!" you say walking towards him.
He stops, his eye watching you like a hawk when you raise a hand to his hair. He doesn't stop your movements as you push your fingers in his mane.
"There! - you say waiving a piece of grass in front of his face - you had it in your hair"
"Thank you, Daughter of the North" he answers, voice soft and hoarse.
Only when he is back to his chambers, he realizes you haven't used his title. Down in your cell, you don’t even notice what you just did.
Later, doubts and fears attack you, unsure of what to expect now, where you stand with Aemond.
Laying with him had been inevitable, the pull between you two too strong to fight; had it changed everything, though? You have little to no hopes of safety if you make it back home, moreover after your infidelity; as much of a brutal monster your husband is, at least you know what to expect with him, but with Aemond? His gentleness could be pure manipulation, but his tears seemed real, his sorrow true. Would his conscience bite him tomorrow, would he treat you worse, just to cancel what he did?
You toss and turn, uncomfortable on your cot, tired from the lovemaking and wired up by the uncertainty that’s Aemond Targaryen. You know how men think, you know that your body is nothing more than another battlefield, you know that most men stop respecting the person they desire, the moment they lie with them; is Aemond Targaryen like this? Will you be easy prey for every man, now that he’s had his piece of you?

Okay-
I got a LustBerry (Queer-platonic or romantic, take your pick) AU idea. It's like a magic, celestial, royal AU blend of fluffAngst, mulitverse AU.
So the AUs name isn't fully decided, or anything bc I just thought of this minutes ago BUT
So there's three factions. The Sun faction, moon, stars.
So far, Nightmares got hold of the moon faction, dream has the sun one, and we're not sure who rules the star one, right?
Well, okay. After years of fighting, wars, and pains, nightmare has a plan. Basically, he sends his courtesan (Lust) to seduce Dream, in an attempt to rather secrets and get an upper hand.
Well Lust gets to the sun kingdom, explains that nightmare has sent him for a reason that obviously isn't true. And dream is like, "I.... don't trust this, at all."
So Blue (who's a guard) is assigned to keep 24/7 tabs on Lust.
Enter, the blossoming romance/QP relationship.
So far, here's the roles I got for everyone in the story:
NIGHTMARES TEAM:
Nightmare: Ruler of Lunarea. (Lu-nar-re-ah) [Nightmare owned by Jokublog]
Error: Celestial mage, second in command to nightmare. (Error owned by Loverofpiggies]
Cross: royal Advisor. [Cross owned by Jael Peñaloza/Jakei95]
Killer, personal assistant to nightmare, though often handed over to Error. [Killer owned by Rahafwabas]
Horror: Bodyguard. [Horror owned by Sour-Apple-Studios]
Dust: Assassin. [Dust owned by Ask-Dusttale]
Lust: courtesan to nightmare, only. [Lust owned by NSFWshamecave]
DREAMS TEAM:
Dream: Ruler of Sunsteep. [Dream owned by Jokublog]
Ink: Poet, Celestial mage. [Ink owned by Comyet]
Blue: Solider, high ranking royal guard, normally incharge of the dungeon. [Blue owned by Popcorn-pr1nce]
Fresh: Royal advisor. [Fresh owned by Loverofpiggies]
Lol I need suggestions for Dreams team XD
(EDIT: it's gonna cover some heavy topics, neither dream or nightmare are really gonna be good or bad, and I'm adding Classic to dreams team!)

Waiting For The Worms
Rabid Pneumonia: Also known as Tar Lung, or Wet Lung. A respiratory disease that eventually attacks the brain of its host, driving them to violence.
The pandemic has been ravaging Equestria for five months...Twilight is running out of time.
(Content Warnings: Zombie AU, Gore, Major Character Death, Disease.)
Five months have passed since the initial outbreak.
One hundred and fifty three long days of fear and mourning.
Two hundred twenty thousand three hundred twenty minutes of desperate attempts to combat this sickness.
It took a few weeks before Twilight had identified the reason they had so much trouble containing the disease. It was something so universal, so basic…something no one could live without.
Water. This damned plague spread through fresh water. True, a bite from an infected creature would transfer it, but its main method of transmission was something every living thing required. It wasn’t even like the princess had meant to discover this. No, she had gone to refill the coolant tanks for her lab when she noticed it.
Some poor filly, lost in the pain of the sickness, had dragged her broken body to the banks of the river. This puzzled Twilight. By this point, it was clear that the little pony was in the final stages of Rabid Pneumonia. She would have been suffering from hydrophobia, surely. And yet here she was, gagging on the black bile flooding her lungs. After many long moments, the pathetic creature hurls herself into the stream, startling Twilight.
Of course she was aware of how often they had to fish bodies out of the reservoir. She’d just presumed that it was due to the rainy season washing them downhill…she had a new panel to run.
After that, they tasked the pegasi and dragons with getting the word out. All water had to be boiled and filtered before drinking. It helped, but not nearly enough.
Month two is when they had to accept that magic wouldn’t fix this. The four princesses had called upon Discord to work towards a spell to address this. Between the five of them, there was nothing they couldn’t do…or so they thought.
Tar Lung could bounce back from anything they cast.
Discord was particularly stunned by this. He certainly wasn’t used to putting in effort to get what he wanted. By the time it was clear that they would have to resort to modern medicine, the draconequus seemed to fall into a depressive episode. He’d blipped away, presumably to the fortified home he had built for Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. The latter had moved in after she’d lost her husband and their daughter…
Shortly after that, Cadence had heard of the illness reaching the Crystal Kingdom. She rushed home, only to report that she would be unable to leave her people. A week later, Twilight received the news that her brother had contracted it.
She scowled, and shook her head. If her magic didn’t help, that was fine. Twilight never let herself lose sight of the practical side of her studies. She was particularly skilled in chemistry. So she called upon anyone experienced in medicine. Earth ponies, Pegasi, Unicorns, Kirin, Zebras, if you knew your way around a lab, you were invited.
Zecora had been a big help to their cause. She had convinced a few buffalo to join her, one of which was Little Strongheart’s daughter. The zebra made it clear that Twilight was to show the utmost respect to all who answered her summons. If the princess didn’t understand traditional methods, that didn’t mean they had no merit.
The implied accusation stung, but Twilight understood why Zecora made it. She’d definitely had moments of dismissing science she considered primitive.
As it would turn out, some of the biggest advances the team made began with the group helmed by the zebra. Their deep knowledge of the local ecosystem had resulted in significant breakthroughs. They hit a snag when the disease mutated again. The first documented jump was to the local population of timber wolves. They hadn’t anticipated it would be able to spread to plants…
Ink Rot meant a whole different threat.
Applejack wasted no time in assembling a crew to figure out why their crops had begun to die. Clearly it was related to the pandemic, but how? Tar Lung started as a respiratory disease, it shouldn’t impact this.
And yet, here they were.
Thankfully Ink Rot didn’t seem to be able to transmit to animals. At least, not like the virus could. It definitely could make you sick if you consumed too much contaminated matter. But it just resulted in something akin to food poisoning. The biggest danger was how it weakened the immune system.
Anyone recovering from Ink Toxicity was significantly more likely to contract Tar Lung. Even if they took every possible precaution. The sickness was getting stronger every passing moment.
Applejack was the one that suggested rain was no longer safe. After the outbreak, Cloudsdale had allowed the weather to self-regulate. They would do their best to prevent natural disasters, but their numbers had been falling to the virus at a significant rate.
As the storms rolled through, cases would skyrocket. Out of frustration, Applejack lamented that the petrichor smelled sour. Of course. Of course it was the rain. They couldn’t possibly boil every lake in the world.
The timber wolves had started to reach the final stages, so they would likely be drowning themselves like the previous carriers. Zecora had guessed that Ink Rot stemmed from their decaying branches.
Twilight issues a command to have Cloudsdale evacuated. She finds some comfort in the knowledge that Dash wasn’t around to see her home in this state…wherever she was. The princess tried not to dwell on her fallen friends. They both would just tell her to keep working on the cure.
A few days after the fall of the pegasi kingdom, Zecora caught it. The moment the acidic bile began to seep from her snout, she walked into a holding cell. She reassured Twilight from her glass cage that everything would make sense soon. The alicorn had everything she needed to save the world.
It was a rough few weeks, watching one of her most valuable teammates collapse under the strain of the sickness. Watching as it reached her brain, being forced to hear the zebra rip at her burning chest. The wet choking echoing off the walls…Twilight cried herself to sleep regularly.
She was failing her community. She was running out of time.
Which brings us to now.
Five months.
One hundred and fifty three days.
Two hundred twenty thousand three hundred twenty minutes.
A brilliant flash blinds the princess. She scrubs at her eyes, squinting against the light. She’s surprised at who stands before her. The lord of chaos himself. Discord had returned. He looks exhausted. His thin mane had grown out, forming mats that swung heavily as he offered a half-hearted bow. His mismatched eyes were haunted…something was wrong.
“Discord?” Twilight asks softly, not wanting to startle him. The lab had too many delicate items to risk him bolting on her. “...What happened?”
It was clear from his expression that he anticipated the question. The draconequus knew she was a clever one. She saw right through him. As per usual. His voice is rough, as though he’d been screaming for hours.
“Observant as always, princess .” He spits out her title like the word is rotten on his tongue. “I take it you’re not getting anywhere?”
The jab digs into her spirit like an arrow. Twilight’s wings lift subtly, making her appear bigger. “We’ve made significant progress towards a cure. We’ll have our vaccine by the end of the year.” She snorts, flicking her tail. “Not that you care.”
The air shifts. Discord’s form distorts, chaos magic leaking out. The princess catches a glimpse of his true appearance. A twisting fractal, branching out into impossible angles and planes. He snarls, teeth rotating and multiplying endlessly. After a very tense moment, he reels his power in. The window into his reality closes.
The venom in his voice remains. “I resent that accusation.”
Twilight forces herself to stand strong. She was the only one that could fight him if needed. “State your business.” She snaps. “But I’m only going to warn you once. If you do anything to jeopardize our work, I will not hesitate to stop you. Keep that in mind.”
“Oh I’m so frightened, I just might shake myself apart.”
“ Discord .” She takes a step towards him.
“Ugh, you’re still no fun.” He rolls his eyes. Literally. Before Twilight can respond, Discord’s tone becomes serious again. “I’m here to help you.”
“You know none of our magic works against it.” The princess reminds him.
“ Yes . I am distinctly aware of how useless I appear to you.” He folds his arms, his tail flicking with irritation. “This whole thing has gone too far. You need someone that can get you anything in a matter of seconds. I am your obedient servant .”
He punctuates this with another, more dramatic bow.
Something’s happened, Twilight realizes. “Not that I’m going to turn you down but…why are you offering this now? You could have shown up at any moment, you know.”
“They caught it.” Discord states bluntly.
Twilight doesn’t need clarification on who ‘they’ are.
“I couldn’t protect them…I poured everything I had into keeping my-” He pauses, glancing away. “Keeping them safe from this. You know me, I could care less if this world implodes…or at least I did. I’m a selfish creature, it’s in my nature. I’m sure you understand.”
The princess nods, motioning for him to continue.
“...I can’t let them die, Twilight. I might not be able to snap this disease out of existence, but if I can do even the smallest thing to help expedite your work?” Discord meets her eyes, and she can see a hint of his old resolve. “I’ll make it happen. Just say the word…and please, we may be desperate, but let’s not forget our manners, hm?”
A harsh laugh bubbles up from Twilight’s chest. She can’t believe this is what it took to snap Discord from his isolation…actually, yes she can. This was perfectly in character for him.
“Alright. We can discuss details later, right now I need-” She was interrupted by a panicked Spike bursting into the room.
“Hey! Twilight, I’ve got a message from the Castle!” The dragon holds it out, allowing his friend to grab it with her magic.
She unfurls it, expecting a long update. What she does find, however, are three sentences that chill her to the bone.
‘The disease has breached the barrier. The Sisters are no longer with us. Please hurry…”

Yo so I've had an idea for a fantasy/medieval omori au for about a year now that I've pretty much never had the opportunity to post about, mainly cause I would have a hard time drawing up designs for the characters. So I've decided I'm just gonna make a post describing what I've got for the au so far, cause I've put enough thought into it to at least tell people about it:
As stated, the AU takes place in a medieval/fantasy setting, and mainly focuses on Sunny and Mari, the prince and princess of the Faraway Kingdom. Both of the siblings have never been happy about their royalty status, especially with the issue of becoming king/queen. For Mari, she's expected to marry a prince from another kingdom and become that kingdom's queen, but she doesn't want to leave Faraway and marry someone she doesn't know. Sunny just doesn't want to become king in general, as the idea of it stresses him out.
When Sunny is 12 and Mari is 15, they find out that their parents are intending to step down within the next few years, meaning that the siblings will be forced to assume their positions of king and queen much sooner than they expected. They aren't happy about this news, and that night, as the two of them open up to each other about how much they hate the roles they've been forced into, Mari gets the idea of sneaking out of the castle for a night to get some fresh air and relieve their stress. Important to note that Mari and Sunny are not allowed to leave the castle by themselves, something they've also always disliked about their status as royalty. Sunny is convinced and the two of them sneak out, wearing cloaks to hide their identities.
While out in the kingdom, they run into Kel, Hero, Aubrey, and Basil (the four of them already know each other by this time), and the siblings immediately get along well with them. Afterwards, what started out as just one night of sneaking out turns into a routine for Sunny and Mari, and after spending more time with the other four and becoming close to them, they eventually reveal their true identities to them
I don't have much else in terms of main plot after this, so I'll move on to character information I got
Hero: He helps his family at the bakery that they own, and that he himself will be expected to run one day when he's older. While Hero enjoys baking and is glad to help his family, he is discouraged by the fact that the bakery doesn't get much business, and so his family struggles financially as a result. The bakery was one of the first places that Sunny and Mari went to when they left the castle for the first time, and they continue to visit it frequently. Hero and Mari do end up falling in love, but Mari is saddened by the fact that she shouldn't be with him due to her being forbidden from being with a commoner
Kel: He's also expected to run the bakery along with Hero, but it's not something that interests him. He finds it difficult to focus on baking and he hates being cooped up in a kitchen all day, and he much prefers going out and about. One day, he takes notice of the kingdom's dragon riders, those who train dragons and ride on them for delivery and scouting. Kel is intrigued and ends up talking with their captain, who likes Kel's enthusiasm and offers to train him to become a dragon rider, which Kel accepts. The dragon Kel is assigned to train is a fluffy, orange and white one named Hector
Aubrey: Okay I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't quite figured out what's going on with Aubrey? Backstory wise I'm thinking she wasn't originally from the Faraway Kingdom and she started living there after she ran away from her shitty mom. Also like in canon she met Basil before the others did, she protected him after she saw someone heckling him. Besides that I haven't thought of what she's actually doing yet...
Basil: He is a mage who lives with his grandmother on the outskirts of the kingdom's borders. His grandmother is also a mage, he got his powers from her, and she teaches Basil how to use them, with Basil specializing in plant-based magic
Omori: A young dragon who was cursed into a human form (this takes place two years after the story's start, Sunny's 14 by this point). He's found by Sunny and Mari after sneaking into the courtyard during a storm, and they sneak him into the castle, concerned by how thin he is, and they basically end up adopting him. Omori starts off very quiet, and even after he starts talking more, he's very secretive about his past and where he's from, refusing to elaborate any more than the fact that he's not from Faraway
Stranger: An ancient and powerful faerie who lives in the deepest and darkest part of the woods outside Faraway, along with many mysterious crows who act as his spies. Humans and magical creatures alike know not to trespass on his part of the woods, as he's notorious for cursing those who get in his way. He was the one who cursed Omori, and did so after Omori entered his part of the woods and killed and ate one of his crows

So there's this piece of art on Pillowfort that's human cow Hob and its been living in my head rent free since I saw it and I have thots.
So I would like to propose semi anthro au warprize Dreamling. Dream is the King of Cats whose kingdom was challenged. Bovine soldiers are not hugely uncommon, but they usually tend to be huge bulls that are just huge and solid enough to plow through anything. The pretty soldier with brown patches looks more like an adorable dairy cow in Dream's eyes and after the fighting is over, he selects Hob as his personal prize. After all, a cat of Dream's status always needs a source of fresh cream. And he is so looking forward to wrapping himself around his pretty new milk cow and teasing him with light brushes of his tail and listening to him scream so pretty while Hob bounces on Dream's barbed cock.
Anon you got me SHAKING with this one…….. I don’t need another wip but the temptation to make this into an absolutely debauched fic is sooooo strong.
Hob wasn’t even supposed to go into the army - but he needed money, and as he’s fairly strong and robust he was allowed to serve. His fellow soldiers always made fun of him, though. Partly because he was so obviously not cut out for being a soldier, but also because he couldn’t even produce any milk at that time. The army diet was too bad, the conditions were bad… so when Dream sees him, he knows that he’s got to take this adorable creature in and help him to serve his true purpose.
Hob is moved in to a pretty little room next to the king’s. He has attendants who care for his needs, he’s put on a good, rich diet and the king comes to visit every day. He talks to Hob about their shared interests, and he’s always touching him with delicate white hands (and those terrifyingly sharp claws). Hob develops quite a crush on the feline king.
Luckily, as soon as Hob starts producing milk, his relationship with Dream gets ever more intimate. The king wants to taste his milk each morning, so Hob is sent into the bedroom and allowed to climb right into bed with him. Dream is always full of praise for how delicious the milk is, how Hob is doing such a good job at producing more each day. For his good work, the king starts rewarding Hob with kisses and sweet touches. And soon that escalates…
Hob accompanies Dream almost everywhere in the palace as a symbol of the king’s wealth and power. He can stop any time to drink from his own personal milk cow, as is befitting of a king. Hob is also just very pretty, and everyone takes pleasure in looking at his soft brown eyes, fluttering eyelashes… and of course the teets which provide delicious milk for the king. It’s not uncommon to see the king of the cats with his prize squirming in his lap, Hob’s legs spread wide as he desperately tries to take Dream’s cock deeper. He’s learned to be so good when the king fucks him full of cum. Apparently it makes his milk even sweeter…
