You know these scenes where Bruce just switches between his personas like a tennis match? Like the thing Adam West's Bruce Wayne did? I love them SO much! And now I'm here imagining all kinds of scenarios.
Like. He's with the JLA and he's Bruce Freaking Wayne, so he has all kinds of contacts and reach and stuff. And bc of shenanigans he has to call someone in a high position of power and convince them to do something. Now here's the problem: The guy doesn't care for any heroes and blackmail wouldn't work for whatever reason, but he owes a huge favor to Wayne but also thinks Brucie Wayne is legit a huge dumbass and can't get anything done. That's where the Justice League comes in. The League is the serious party that makes the terms and Brucie cashes that enormous favor in, EXCEPT, they want that powerful guy to do something in Gotham, which means he wants to talk with Batman, and also have Wayne there as a way to get him to back out and forget about the favor. He thinks that would work because he expects the Bat to do something to piss off Bruce or for Bruce to think this is too much responsibility for him to have. Which basically just boils down to Bruce having to argue with himself, which he should be a master at at this point, and change his voice and word choice every two sentences.
And the League jumps in a few times to help settle matters and soothe bruised egos (between B and B and the guy. Batman just subtly insults the man the longer this goes on) while being really weirded out by a Batman with Brucie Wayne's voice. Like, they'll play along but how did they get here???
Or this but with the Batkids. Just imagine a four-way-version of this, except Bruce plays the roles Father of Five(or more, depending on how you look at it) and Batman and then Damian comes in and speaks as himself plus someone he can't stand (he has perfect voice mimicry as far as I know), so he'd be forced to see things out of the other person's perspective while keeping his own stance and not loosing his temper when he starts insulting himself bc they would be arguing at this point. And the rest are watching while eating popcorn, silently shaking their heads, bc what insanity is this?
OR Bruce gets arrested in his early Batman years and his plan involves making it look like he's been interrogated by Batman. He deactivates the cameras and blocks the door and covers the two-way mirror, so only his voice can get through the door where the cops are listening in and halfheartedly trying to break the door down. They have to help the billionaire, so he doesn't make them problems like sue them, but they also don't care or hate him bc he gets in their way a lot with his "no-corruption" policy. And no one asks themselves how Batman could have possibly entered or escaped the room without anyone noticing, bc "that guy's a freaking vampire or some shit, obviously he can do that, Steve".
Anyway, just wanted to share my ideas. Feel free to ignore this, or use this as inspiration if you want. Or anyone else.

Confirmed! Loop 1 was not, in fact, Loop 1.
That's the trick with time loops. A potentially infinite number of revolutions can be made without anyone even noticing if nobody is aware that it's happening.
Wonder why it took this many loops before Mikuru tried to time travel, though.
Also bringing up the way things are arbitrarily changing from loop to loop. Probabilistic effects, most likely. Something something quantum mechanics, people won't necessarily make the same choices when put in the same situation under the same context twice.
Rude. That means there were 435 trips to the Bon Dance where Mikuru got snubbed. What the hell, 2.82% of all Haruhi repetitions!?
In any case, we know the rules now. Time is repeating but the loops are imprecise, because Haruhi has something or other she wants to do this summer but that, for some reason, didn't make the list.
Probably that, yeah. Like the world-cramping, this is likely about Kyon. She's giving him infinity chances to get his shit together and say or do something romantic towards her. And 15,498 attempts thus far have gone by unfulfilled because he is aggressively disinterested in her.
I don't know why you want the trash boy, Haruhi. But I was young and stupid once too. I get it. You go get your trash boy. Even if it takes a billion tries.

The fate of time itself depends on Kyon's ability to interpret the plot. We are all doomed.
I doubt this is going to be it but it'd be hilarious if it turns out that what Haruhi wants is for Kyon to ask for her help with his homework.
That comes up in conversation during the fireworks. Kyon's like, "Have you done the homework yet?" and Haruhi's like, "PFFT I got that shit done first thing this summer. You didn't!?" At which point he whines internally about how unfair it is that she's smarter than him.
It takes three days by her estimate and he hasn't even started by the final day of the loop. He's completely screwed because he spends all of his time doing group shenanigans.
How funny would it be if Haruhi's been looping time because she's waiting for him to set aside his pride and just fucking ask her to help him?

Trying to come up with ships to give you other than Killugon ummmmm Setsu/protag, Raqio/Remnan, Pariging, Tsumuhoma, Azuguy, and/or a Dunmeshi ship of your choice. For the chart :P
I’m going to be honest a lot of these placements are prettyyyyy arbitrary but anyway!!
Killugon: The amount of gay subtext between them is crazy. Maybe the fact I don’t think Gon returns Killua’s feelings yet in what we have currently of canon means they should be shifted a bit to the right. Unfortunately, I am biased. And scenes like “it has to be Killua!” make me hope for the future. I could write an essay about them. Their insanities make me insane. 10/10
Setsu/Protag: They’re probably only so high because of recency bias but you know what? This is about what compels me. Right now. And I am soooo in love with Setsu and their crazy time loop shenanigans. So much of the story is dependent on how much they love each other which makes me think it makes sooo much sense. Shifted it to the right a bit, though, because despite some of the most pivotal moments in the story being based on the player/protagonist loving Setsu, not every player will love them like I do ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY’RE NOT EVEN ONE OF THE DEVS’ FAVOURITES??? Anyway I think that not loving Setsu is tragic, bad taste, a skill issue, etc. /j
Raqio/Remnan: I didn’t even realize this was a ship before I went onto Ao3. Like I guess I can understand why people ship it, but nothing in canon makes it feel romantic to me... Also, I can’t believe that Remnan is canonically only attracted to women... I’m sorry Raqio. I don’t really actively dislike it or anything though this ship just kinda makes me feel nothing, unfortunately. </3
Pariging: THE FUNNIEST EVERRRR unfortunately I’m not SUPER insane about them, though, and being funny can only carry you so far. Plus, they really only have One Scene so I feel like I can’t put them much higher on the “makes sense” section. </3
Tsumuhoma: One of my favourite fuyu ships and it’s all your fault. They’re not higher on the “makes sense” section mostly because they don’t interact nearly as much as I want them to despite being in the same troupe and their best interactions are in a time gated event... </3 That event was SUPER compelling for them to me though. Unfortunately, I’m less into A3! stuff in general now so they are. Where they are right now.
Azuguy: Okay I really like Azuguy and they’re really tender and sweet with each other and they just have those gentle vibes to them and they also get to have a lot of interactions because they are roommates... I feel like a lot of the attachment I had for them has faded with my memory, though... What not reading any new A3! content in over a year does to someone, I guess. :( I think I would actually put them a bit higher but then they would cover Pariging (which maybe Pariging deserves).

Took the liberty of P3R releasing to create a tier list based on each SEES/Shadow Operative member’s opinion of Teddie. To prove some guy on Reddit wrong who said Mitsuru actively dislikes Teddie. No one actively dislikes/hates him. Lowest tier is awkward co-existence.
Most opinions based on Arena.
Tier 1: Teddie Fans
Here we have Aigis and special guest Labrys. Fellow non-humans stick together! They all have a strong understanding of each other. Only members that would actively text him and want to hang out. Would defend each other no matter what. They each know Teddie would take hits for them and would do the same. Squad!
Tier 2: Beary Good Friends
Junpei, Fuuka, and Koromaru
Junpei is such a fun bro they would definitely get up to shenanigans after he got used to Teddie’s inherent strangeness. Teddie teases and messes with him sometimes. Junpei sealed his fate after opening a door when Teddie told him to. Bro has been dubbed an easy target to mischief.
Fuuka is a sweet cinnamon roll. Would find all of Teddie’s energy to be overwhelming at first but then consider it endearing. Sweet boy and sweet girl. Teddie can take her on fun adventures. She will mom-friend him so much.
Mascot Wars is a curse Teddie inflicted on himself. Meanwhile Koromaru enjoys his company and interprets their one-sided rivalry and competitions as a game. Would save him from danger.
Tier 3: “Well, Teddie, you are an odd fellow. But I must say you steam a good ham”
A tier for mature individuals. Here we have Akihiko, Mitsuru, and Ken
Akihiko, more accurately, would float somewhere between tier 2 and 3 depending on how much he’s able to interact with Teddie. He’s one of the few guys Teddie gives a nickname to so the bear does enjoy his company even if they find each other to be odd. That irony is funny to me. Teddie clings to the bits of social awkwardness Akihiko has left and playfully makes fun of some of his choices. Meanwhile when going through the Arena routes where they have the most interactions Akihiko would respect him as a Persona-user for his strong loyalty towards his friends. Can be moved to tier 2 with enough interactions but otherwise stays here.
Mitsuru is here! The character that started this tier list! Mitsuru does not dislike Teddie and is able to shut down most of his flirting attempts fast. She is a professional and can deal with worse in a quick and serious manner with the least amount of offending. Someone online claimed that Mitsuru wouldn’t want to be on a team with Teddie due to difficulties dealing with him but I see this as false. In Teddie’s internal monologue in Arena he mentioned how commanding Mitsuru’s voice is and how it would be difficult to say no to her. This is to say under normal circumstances Teddie would have no issues following her orders. Mitsuru also didn’t veto Teddie volunteering to join her, Akihiko, and Aigis on a rescue mission for Teddie’s friends in Ultimax. So she would view him as a capable eccentric.
On to Ken. Honestly, this tier list made me realize how little Teddie and Ken have interacted in any spin-off. As such, most of this would be headcanons. I think Ken would view Teddie as very immature at first but would cut him a bit of slack after finding out he wasn’t from this world. Teddie would try to get him to play with him since he seems so serious for his age which would annoy Ken since he still doesn’t enjoy being seen as the child of the group. So they could have a few misunderstandings with each other. Overall, Ken would know that Teddie is an important member of the IT and try not to judge.
Tier 4: Awkward Coexistence
The tier for Yukari (& Shinji)
Yukari and Teddie didn’t have a good first meeting with each other. What with Teddie trying to touch her to check if she was a fake or not since he doesn’t know how the real Yukari is supposed to act and the fog was messing with his nose. They became a group for a bit before separating and most of their interactions had Yukari annoyed with him. Yukari is very critical around guys that are full of themselves and flirt with girls often so she would most likely keep a bit of distance when in a group setting with him. If she ever finds out more about him then she could be willing to give him another chance. Not seeing him for awhile could also mellow her out to him eventually. Otherwise they stay as acquaintances. Only one that would side eye to being paired with him for a mission.
So, there you have it random Reddit user! No one in SEES actively dislikes Teddie!
Maybe I'll make a reverse tier list? Teddie's own opinions on everyone!

Resuming Rakha shenanigans! Left off with clearing out a whole courtyard of goblins because one of them looked at her funny, followed by a long rest, a near call with ceremorphosis, and an introduction to the unexpected visitor living in her dreams and looking out for her - and then Withers showed up the following morning.
Rakha is having a very weird few days.
Going around to the rest of the camp, we learn that everyone had the same dream, more or less. The spread of opinions on the whole matter is quite varied.
(From a meta perspective, it actually amuses me quite a bit that the Emperor starts out by feeding these dreams to the entire camp; it must be quite a brain strain to manipulate seven different dream visitors simultaneously, all providing a customized version of the same message. It definitely seems by Act 2 that it latches on to the player character as THE target for its manipulations and stops bothering with the rest. Certainly I could see it already starting to pick up on Rakha as being manipulable; she is a pure function, her output depending entirely on the input which she is fed. It has already adjusted its appearance accordingly - the fact that her dream visitor has matching tattoos to her is not accidental.)
Lae'zel and Wyll are both extremely skeptical about the visitor, particularly her assertion that using the worms is not only acceptable but desirable. Astarion, of course, feels opposite - he's excited about the endorsement of the tadpole and making its power work for them. Karlach, Shadowheart, and Gale are all more cautious, clearly not certain what to believe.
Rakha's feelings are complicated. Lae'zel and Wyll are the two people whose opinions she trusts the most in camp - but they are followed close behind by Astarion. (The former two provide direction and focus to her violent nature, an understanding of morality and discipline, while Astarion understands her struggle with her inner darkness on a level Lae'zel and Wyll simply can't match.)
But more than that... she was captivated by the visitor. In the dream, for the first time in her conscious memory, she was calm - both the worm and the dark urge were quiet in her mind, and she was free. And the visitor clearly knows things about her - about the beast in her head and about her past. And using the worms always felt right in the same way that using the Weave does; it was only because of Lae'zel and Wyll's disinterest that she even considered otherwise.
So she says matter-of-factly to everyone that she believes the visitor. It is her first strong point of disagreement with Lae'zel, who disapproves strongly. Rakha doesn't like that much - but she doesn't know how to explain the sense of certainty, of safety, that was in the dream. Perhaps if she could, Lae'zel would understand... this has to be the right choice...

[POV: You Play Too Much] -- Last Letter Game
You're his Partner-in-Crime

“Hey, let’s play a game.”
“Y/N, time and place.”
“But even you have to admit it’s a little dull right now. And besides, I think we could both use a little excitement tonight.”
Drake, the usually stoic between the two of you, couldn’t help but feel a bit unnerved by that. Not necessarily by the game, but how you chose to say it.
Slightly flustered by your remark, Drake fastened his arms across the very visible skin his jacket left exposed – as if giving himself a hug to keep from getting cold. Or to block out any of your shenanigans he knew was coming his way.
He’s never rude or obnoxious to you, but you can tell when he becomes guarded around you and tries to keep you from reading him – which, you like to remind, is very dangerous since both your lives depend heavily on communication from one another. Being on top-rank covert missions require transparency between the two of you, in which you also like to remind him of.. even though you more or less mean it in less than professional contexts.
“W-what do you, erm, mean by that?”
He doesn’t forget that kind of thing.
“Um, how do you think I meant it?”
“This is serious business, Y/N. Just…nothing that will blow our cover.”
Drake took a moment to prod at his eye mask as you shuffle your feet into the gravel - poking around at discarded cigarette butts and pebbles as you marinate on some potential schemes. Standing outside one of the many ubiquitous bars and lounges Wano had to offer, there were many ears to hear and eyes to spy. But that in itself cropped an idea for you that you would enjoy.
Solely, you.
Because of course, he wouldn’t admit that he would.
Out loud.
“That’s fine. ‘Last Letter Game’, category being, hmm? Wano?” you say with equal stringency, establishing a mutual understanding of just how significant this all was. Knowing just how heavy the gravity of the situation was meant just how far you could possibly push the envelope, after all.
You commenced the first round, knowing that Drake could easily keep up with the 5 second limit of answering once you uttered the starting word.
“Flowers.”
“Soba.”
“Apples.”
“Shit.”
“Tobi Roppo.”
Drake couldn’t fully stifle his snicker as his gloved hands did a poor job muffling it from nearby ears. Thankfully, no one was receptive enough to really care what was so funny or pick up on the connection of the two words and carried on with their daily bustle. Realizing where he was a split moment after his break of character, Drake continued in a hushed but pointed whisper to keep prying ears from tuning in so easily anyway - tightening his crossed arms to his chest.
“Orochi.”
Now for your plan to be put into action.
“Intimate.”
“Ebisu.”
“Underwear.”
“…Rasetsu.”
Slight delay in comparison to his prompt answers from before, Drake picked up the game from where he had dropped the pause - dropping you a stern but bothered glance as he picked up on the developing theme with your choice of words. “Y/N…”
“Uncontrollable.” Feigning innocent of the look he just shot you, you await again for an answer, looking for a much quicker response.
“Egregious.”
“Sweaty.”
“Yakisoba.”
“Arousing.”
“Y-Y/N, I see what you’re doing, and it’s…”
“What? You don’t feel the same way?”
Face fully flushed to the max to where any attempt to hide it was futile, Drake had to compose himself to spare hearing you prattle on about it, and to also keep within the time limit of the game. Doing a poor job of both, he could only clear his throat as he tried to keep from completely choking on his word.
“G-gold.”
“Desired.”
"Determined."
"Debauched."
And barely managing another glance your way, Drake held his face in his hand as if it was melting off from the immense heat that ripped it aflame – trying his best to keep it together. You curiously angled yourself face in front of his, attempting to make eye contact with him since that’s only the proper thing to do when speaking with someone.
“Dirty? Yell? Lubricous? Stimulating? Are you even trying?”
It was almost impossible to repress the ever-growing smirk you wore on your face as it was for him to withhold any and every shred of embarrassment he wore on his. The two of you were as transparent as ever, and it was no secret that he was easy to fluster over the most mildest of mild sexual implications, but if he likes to contest it, then you’re always game for it.
“Y/N…”
“So I guess that means I win – you’re declaring me the winner?”
“What…does a-any of that have..to do with Wano?”
“Huh? Were you not paying ANY attention at all to today’s events?” You huffed, fully aware of it not being so obvious. “Uh, Sumo wrestling? Duh. What else could it have been about, silly?”
“Oh, I-I see..”
“That’s literally the first thing to come to mind when I think of those words. Where was your head at? In the gutter?” You lightly gibe with a tap of a finger on your temple while he tried his darndest to rub out the tension headache from his.
In your book, it is against the rules for X Drake to ever catch a break.

in-law ship as we know, but i will reiterate i think they are at their best when divorced or in the process of divorcing and also when theyre maiming eachother i just think they should be haters about it
crimson stone shenanigans could be SO FUNNY in sorrow era because honestly arikado is more likely to have that stupid rock than literally anyone else but unfortunately im the only person who sees that. anyway walter should get to fuck with arikados head a little since he didnt seem to get much opportunity to do it to dracula. maybe erotically
waaaah trevorcard... probably my main comfort ship i love them lots and lots and lots but nobody gets it like i do. themes of humanity and monstrosity depending on perception and the intensity of mutual trust, believing in eachother, but also dual misplaced guilt and an inability to truly be together because of these issues that cant be resolved, that ends up carrying on through generations since the loose ends were simply left to fray... they just make me so insane hhhngh

Your TOP 10 fave Choices books?
Thanks for the ask! I thought about it and I got a top 8. There are other books I like, but they are not on the same level as these for me. In a random order:
The Elementalists, because you can be aroace and go on magical adventures with your friends, also Tim the frog familiar is >>>;
The Haunting of Braidwood Manor, because it was actually scary sometimes, the ending made me cry, I love my victorian ghost gf Eleanor, and the story overall is just very solid even though it's so short;
Veil of Secrets, because it's the best Choices mystery book, every chapter is like a slap in the face, but in a good way;
Crimes of Passion, because the mystery is also good and Trystan and MC are my favourite ship dynamic, also MC is >>>;
It Lives (both books), because they are really good, what clarification do you need;
The Heist: Monaco, because I'm obsessed with heist movies and Sonia;
Queen B (book 1), because the writing is funny and snappy and I love the over the top mean girl shenanigans;
Blades of Light and Shadow, because duh.
Honorable mention: Murder at Homecoming, it's not fully released yet, but so far it's top 10 material for me. I love kid detective stories, the mystery is pretty good, charcters are fleshed out, MC is cool, and there are many choices throughout the book that really make the story feel like it's you own (dialogue changes depending on MC's pronouns and LI, their hobbies etc.)
There are also a few books I want to read that I think I might like: A Courtesan of Rome, Distant Shores, Endless Summer, Most Wanted, The Unexpected Heiress and Hero.

What characters that didnt get any/very little interactions in game do you wish got to have some time together?
I'm not sure if you time together with the player or with other characters so I'm gonna do both. ;w;
Characters I wanted to have more time in general:
Blake
Elias
Ace
Zero
Sirius
Sigmund
Would've loved to see more of them and learn more about them and their past. We mainly see Blake's childhood from Cal's perspective and what we do learn from Blake is that their father was abusive. I would've loved to see how it was like for him and how he felt more in detail. I also wish there was more than 1 post game quest with him. Don't get me wrong I loved the quest with him and Cal finally just talking about what happened and getting a fresh start, but it would've been fun to hang out with just him some more.
Also really wanted to see more of him in the future >:( Give me (Slightly) mellowed out Blake!
Same pretty much goes for Zero and El. Fuck, both only got a sidequest that's optional depending on the choices you make in game. I pretty much never actually got the Zero sidequest on my own (A friend lend me their savefile to check it out though!) Did you know he got an Articuno just for Lumi? That's so sweet!
We do get an amazing lore from El in the reshiram route, but still kinda sad that we didn't get more.
We did see quite a bit of Ace, but they disappeared after the sewers and wasn't seen again until late postgame!
I wanted to interact with them more and see more of them!
All we know from Sirius's past is told to us by other characters/diaries. And that's not much. Wish we could've seen a bit of him during the celebi or Dialga/Palkia sidequest or something.
Sigmund: We did get a lot of info on him during the Jirachi quest but we didn't get to interact with him at all after the events in Tanzan.
I mean, we can get friendship points with the man, just for him to die no matter what you do.
I wanted him to pay for his actions and see his mistakes during postgame. I wanted him to realize what he did to Saphira, her sisters and the other kids was abusive and that he apologized for it or something.
It just feels... Sad and empty now.
Character interactions with each other I wanted to see:
Cal and Blake:
I know pretty much most of Blake's encounters involves Cal but I just wanted to see them be brother's again working on their relationship, ya know? Or at least a scene in the future where they're close again...
Blake and Heather:
We did see them together in Blake's character ending, but since that's optional I'm putting it here anyway. Would've at least wanted to see one more interaction.
Radomus and El:
Haha, funny old men go bickering.
Titania and Shelly:
I love them so much, I want to see them talking about books or something.
Serra and Shelly:
Same reason as above, but less excited about that.
The rivals:
The shenanigans... We could've had them in a postgame quest where you had to chase a legendary trio or something.
Would've been so funny!
Noel and Shelly:
Idk, they're friends but we never get to see them interact much!! I want to see their friendship!
Zero with any of the fellow (ex) team meteor members:
Would've been so fun to see him be awkward as shit around them
Like they don't know him as his own person, they know him as ZEL
Elias and Taka:
Gimme it, they should talk about Solaris and the past or something idk!!! Let Taka and his other dad El talk!!
Elias and Terra:
Purely because of the future scene.
Ace and Ciel:
This should speak for itself. I need this.
Samson and literally anyone:
Unlike Terra and Ciel he pretty much knows no one there as much as he knows them. Let him and Victoria arm wrestle. Let him and Blake take shots. Let him carry Shelly, Heather, Noel and Anna at the same time.
There's probably a lot more that I can't think of right now, but yeah.

Fate Characters
Kirei:
I love him! No notes. I’ve said this before but watching Zero with no context was really funny because he’s introduced in a fairly low key way but it’s immediately like “WHAT is wrong with this man?” simply because of the (english dub and original) voice actor choices.
Frankly he’s got to be the main highlight of the series for me. He’s this very fun combination of fun!horrible, gross, and miserable. I love the wildly different bullshit he gets up to depending on the Stay Night route. I do wish he was slightly more present sometimes but Heavens Feel III was really awesome about giving him some very fun scenes.
I do wish we got some more Emiya Gohan style fluff content featuring him? Or something focusing on the post Zero, pre Stay Night days. But that doesn’t have much to do with the story proper lol.
My main main critique of Stay Night is lack of focus on his relationship with Rin, though that ties into my general “Stay Night should be about Rin” complaint tbh! But yeah we never see her react at all to his various villain reveals? Like in UBW he kidnaps her, or in Stay Night (Saber route) he fucking stabs her. She generally seems really unfazed by any of it! If she expected him to be that evil all along, I want to see more of why! If she didn’t, then I’d like his reveal to have any impact?
Gilgamesh:
Gilgamesh is SO interesting! His lore is a little harder for me to follow because the majority seems to be in FGO and/or Strange Fake and I have less familiarity with either. (I still do not understand how the fuck FGO works)
But just the differences between Archer and Caster Gilgamesh are so wild. And also simply from a craft perspective, I don’t often see a character who’s allowed to run such a wild gamut between unambiguous villain and protagonist. So just seeing that big of a range is very cool.
Grishaverse Characters
The Darkling:
I love him so much. He’s so fucking awful and petty and stupid. I’m forever pissed off that the fandom does NOT appreciate him for the mess that he is, and instead see him as this boring woobie who’s never done anything wrong in his life. The sheer wasted potential in terms of fandom content is so sad because he’s so popular! But no one’s actually bothering to engage with the character.
In terms of “wasted potential” and “done dirty by the creator” I just think that KoS was. uh. garbage. I actually liked his RoW shenanigans a lot. But choosing to bring him back via bee goddess was stupid, sorry. Also I think there was a lot of wasted potential in TGT wrt how one note his role was. LB “killed him off” at the end of each book and then at the start of the next one he’s always like “nvm I’m back! and more insane!” which on one level is iconic af. But also I think she could’ve done more interesting things with him.
Also I’ve said this before I think but I would’ve loved to see more focus on what he actually does once he’s briefly in power. He *is* ruling the country for the first time, after wanting to for who knows how many centuries. I would’ve loved to see what he even attempted to do, if anything. And if he did literally nothing and only focused on hunting down Alina? Then that itself would’ve been a fairly powerful point to focus on, because it highlights how all his noble talk of bettering the country and saving people is utter bullshit.
Alina:
I love her! She deserved so much better! It’s really frustrating how KoS completely sidelined her and then brought back the Darkling to undercut her arc and all her sacrifices.
On the one hand, I kind of respect the sentiment of like “let her rest.” But hardcore not for this series when the R&R feels like it’s forcibly shoving her back in the kitchen and admonishing her for ever wanting anything else :/
Idk the misogyny inherent to Alina’s storyline just makes me really sad for her!
Zoya:
I love her a lot but she’s just so unevenly written rip. Also like I don’t really appreciate the retconned race swapping for brownie points. I understand and respect LB wanting to make the series more diverse but the way this was done leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I feel like KoS just pivoted her character into such a completely different direction and then turned around and insisted that actually she’s always been like that lol. Making her Alina 2.0 Girlboss Version just did not work for me, I already really liked Zoya for Zoya.
Genya:
Genya had the single most interesting in S&B but then I feel like she got hardcore sidelined as the story progressed. She just never was as dynamic after that, and I feel like that was LB struggling to balance too many plot threads. I just wish she had more going on and more to do as the story progressed.
Also it really creeps me out how people in the fandom talk about her. Particularly Darkling stans. But ugh.
Nikolai:
Love him! Hate his duology!
He’s a character that, while always delightful to read about, is also most interesting to me conceptually. I just wish LB had done more with him.
Especially with KoS, like I was really disappointed with the utter lack of engagement with post monster trauma.
ACOTAR Characters:
Rhysand:

Rhysand pisses me off so bad because he had SO MUCH potential. He’s so fucking interesting in ACOTAR. And then literally everything in ACOMAF onwards happens.
Feyre:
Idk did she even really have a personality? Especially as the series progresses she’s just reduced to a caricature that knows nothing but judging other people and being horny for Rhysand.

Republican Lawmakers Make Plans to Override Ohio Abortion Vote
Republican state lawmakers on Thursday decided they were not going to allow Ohio voters, who had just passed a ballot measure (Issue 1) enshrining the right to abortion in the state constitution by a 56.6 to 43.4 margin, to implement that measure. Claiming without any evidence that “Foreign Billionaires Don't Get to Make Ohio Laws,” Ohio GOP lawmakers announced plans to introduce several bills to override this ballot measure in the coming weeks. Then, to seal the deal, Republicans declared, “To prevent mischief by ‘pro-abortion courts’ with Issue 1,” the Ohio Republican legislature “will make modifications to existing laws,” which would include removing jurisdiction on this issue from the judiciary and give it to the Republican legislature, basically removing voters and the courts from having any say on the issue whatsoever.
Why, if I didn’t know better, I’d almost think Republicans are justifying canceling Ohio voters’ choices by simply making some bogus claim about “foreign billionaires being behind Ohio’s pro-abortion vote.” Of course, as we all know, when Republicans say “foreign billionaire,” they actually mean “George Soros.” And when they say “George Soros,” they really mean “The Jews.” That’s because “foreign billionaires” is what they have to say - when they really want to say “The Jews,” but they know they can’t say - “The Jews.”
The thing is, you can forget the foreign billionaires. If Ohio Republicans get their way, “it’ll be the Ohio voters who won’t get to make Ohio laws.” The fact is, Republicans see elections as nothing more than a “ceremonial activity.” Oh sure, they’re OK with you deciding if an intersection should get a stop sign, but other than that, they believe only “Republican billionaires" should have a say in those laws that really count. Not ordinary citizens, and especially not women or people of color. We might get selfish and put our own and our families' interests before those of the corporations and their stockholders.
And while we’re on the topic of foreign billionaires, funny how Republicans seem to have somehow forgotten how much influence their favorite “foreign billionaires and oligarchs,” such as Vladimir Putin and Rupert Murdoch, have had on GOP policymaking. Not to mention how dependent their “Orange Master” and his crime family have been on foreign money, just to keep afloat financially.
Despite all their attacks on America’s institutions and democracy itself, Republicans still swear they are the party of “Law and Order.” Sure they are, just as long as its THEIR LAWS and THEIR ORDERS. Otherwise, as Tony Soprano might have put it, “Forget about it!? Of course, Ohio Republicans will claim they “listen to voters.” Sure, they do. But if they don’t like what they hear, they’ll pull any shenanigan necessary to undermine what they “heard.”
What’s important to remember here is how big Republicans are on “state’s rights.” That is until a state passes a bill of which Republicans don’t approve. Then, not so much! Their state slogans should be something like, “Ohio, Florida, and Texas - where democracy goes to die.” Its pretty obvious Republicans see elections as nothing more than “ceremonial activities.” It all boils down to this, “Republican politicians don't want to govern - they want to rule,” and - there is a difference.

Shenanigans I've gotten involved in with while playing dnd.
Using a magical flash of inbriation which whenever a liquid from the endless flask touched someone's skin they were instantly drunk and saving, accuracy throws/checks had to be made when rolling for action self, alies or enemy npcs (random loot from the first town in a campaign which the dm didn't contemplate the item having different forms of use)
Made a Dwarven barbarian named kami of the kazi but instead of normal barbarian rage and get a strength bonus my character just explodes with kinetic wave energy from rage causing aoe damage. And I made him profesaint at bone armor crafting for added shrapnel/pirceing damage. And he was gifted at jump ridiculously far and climb like a God.
I made a character from two different home brews 1 a home brew race (aglis/construct with choice of form) and class that's a home brew based off of the character from fate/night unlimited blade works Shirou Emiya. Which he can copy weapons from first scanning them then replication of them from the scanned original item just depending upon the accuracy of the roll for the scan. It determines the quality of the weapon when it's replicated and if it ends up being a master class weapon or higher not only the physical form doesn't dissappear after taking damage the item itself becomes physically permanent and or enchanted in addition. Aside from being able to mass produce more without have to roll for the action.
And other shenanigans associated with this particular character I made the character essentially during one campaign essentially mimic batman in hero clix by shooting out self replicated weapons with proficiency at 5 occultists while in hiding and took them all out at one single move.
And everytime when we got loot from events or dungeon chest I asked for very specific items down to the last detail so when I rolled for it the dm didn't screw me over and give me something useless or cursed in a funny way. But the items I asked for were parts to make a functional light Saber in dnd which eventually became a reality. And with my character's abilities I manufactured light sabers at the capacity of a car manufacturer if needed for myself or share with alies and threw them/shot them at enemies with proficiency.
And eventually made the character general grievous like In the end just with more abilities and shenanigans and the physical form of a dracowarrior with 4 arms. (Which his form was such from the start of the campaign due to his racial specifics/ability).
I was once a dungeon boss due to the fact the DM told me to roll A d20 to see what landed on and because what landed on effected me when I touched a piece of loop that was sitting on a pedestal my guy got possessed by the spirit within the loot because it was cursed. And when it came time for combat I kept nearly killing them and even knocked a few unconscious but in the end I was defeated/freed from the cursed items clutches of possession of my characters body. And that cursed item was required item for the campaign to progress further so we carried it with us until it's use was later found resulting the amulet destroyed.
