Meet my oc Isaiah! He’s from very early on in the timeline, so he’s 1st Generation. He’s a huge nerd and spends most his time in the afterlife reading (and being the reluctant resident babysitter).

Before Isaiah, Belos had just been calling the Grimwalkers “Caleb,” but for ✨Reasons✨ he decides he’s gonna switch it up and starting giving them their own names. Isaiah was Caleb’s middle name, and at this point Belos was still holding onto hope he could make The Replacement Caleb To Rule Them All™️ and stop having to make Grimwalkers. Belos was not a fan of Isaiah’s curiosity and habit of reading “witch books,” but other than that Isaiah tended to be reserved and obedient so Belos was hoping he could beat that out of them (he couldn’t). He also really leaned into the “I will murder you if you dare to betray me” threat to keep him loyal, a tactic which clearly didn’t not work long-term.

In the afterlife, Isaiah is The Responsible One™️, which means he is almost always put in charge when Caleb’s not around. If he’s not stopping people from causing untold chaos, he is reading a book. Conjuring objects in the afterlife is kind of a whole Thing, but for books it basically boils down to: if you know some basic info about it, you can conjure it and read it. (He made a habit of harassing new Grimwalkers as soon as they showed up for every book they could think of, but eventually Caleb implemented a rule that he has to wait at least a certain amount of time first.) Isaiah is also a very good listener; if someone wants to get something off their chest but doesn’t want to deal with Caleb or Evelyn being comforting or getting sad, they go to Isaiah. He’ll listen nonjudgmentally and literally never acknowledge it again. And he likes to psychoanalyse people, so he’s super down to hear everyone’s deepest darkest secrets. (He may or may not have a notebook full of notes and speculation on the other Grimwalkers and their mental states.) Sometimes even Caleb will come to him for advice on handling the more difficult Grims, because if anyone’s gonna be able to figure out someone Caleb can’t, it’s Isaiah. Also, Isaiah has this ongoing rivalry with Dagger--don’t ask, they don’t want to talk about it (every new Grim asks).

These two are Valor and Cell! (Valor is the o. ne to the top left and Cell is the one to the bottom right)

Valor is supposed to be that one guard from hollow mind. The idea of cell was given to me by my cousin @uncannyx23 , mostly because he loves that cyberpunk stuff or whatever it called lol.

Valor is an engineer and smartie pants who basically created Cell, who is used as Belos's personal weapon. They are a package deal, do not separate' them.

There's more to their story but I'll prob save the rambling for later anyon e's actually interested lol

And here’s the last two of the picrew grimwalker outfit drawings! They were quite the challenge since I don’t have as much developed about them and their personalities, but I figured it out and ended up developing a bit more about them as a bonus!

They’re quite the opposite in the question of treatment, because they’re a bit similar in personality. I’ll get that explained better later but its a golden child vs black sheep thing basically

Meet my oc Ethan! You may know him as the first Golden Guard in Hollow Mind (the one with the ruff, I just didn’t draw it here). Also known as the one Belos definitely tried to hit with his staff before Luz and Hunter rounded the corner. He’s 1st Generation, so he's from very early on in the timeline.

Belos is still kind of solidifying his system for making Grimwalkers at this point, but he makes sure they all have human ears (he thinks the idea of a Grimwalker of Caleb having witch ears is offensive). With Ethan though, he was trying to improve his Grimwalker-making and accidentally gave Ethan witch ears. That was bad enough, but as you can see he doesn't like much like Caleb regardless. Because of this, Belos had some particularly disdain for him and was extra violent and cruel. He compared him to Caleb a lot and and said he was a failed version of him who Caleb would be ashamed of, on top of just blaming him for everything that ever went wrong. Let’s just say Ethan had a ✨Reaction✨ to seeing Caleb in the afterlife.

Speaking of the afterlife, Ethan is doing much better there! He’s afraid of touch, but once he feels safe with someone he’s quite clingy because he’s touch starved. He’s actually quite close with Caleb, so you can usually find Ethan with him when Caleb’s around. Ethan’s also a very good listener, he loves it when people want to talk to him and he just sits there like ":)" He’s one of the most prone to breakdowns but pretty much everyone’s nice about it, and all the 1st Gens at least know how to help calm him down. He is the local baby brother everyone would throw hands to protect. <3
